We have never been to a more professional dealership. They were more than patient with my husband's pickiness. Weren't pushy to make a sale. Took their time to explain all the details of how and where and what the dials were in the car. Actually set up and taught us oldies how to use the Bluetooth. Highly recommend!!! I was very pleased with the recent purchase of my 2012 Honda Pilot. Tyree is very knowledgeable about all the features on the Pilot and explained how to use them in a professional manner. Sales person was nice but that's about it. Truck was inspected at Honda before I bought it. Got home and found the muffler needed replaced. Cruise control didn't work. I bought the part and still didn't work. Called back and they said it would cost me $100. To test the truck. I wish I never pulled into the lot. Beware of them

I've known Maria for several years, and took my son and daughter-in-law in to see her to get a good used car. Her patience and knowledge was unequaled, and they bought a Kia Forte that they love. On our way out, I noticed the Honda Accord Sport on the sales floor. Maria said that she really wanted that car. I said, "Well, I really want that car." Went home, got my Mercedes, and went right back to make the trade. It's the most fun car that I've ever owned! Everyone at the dealership is very friendly, helpful, and professional. Maria certainly goes out of her way to make sure her customers get just what they are looking for and are happy with their purchase. I went into this dealership thinking no way i'll be able to get the vehicle I want with no credit. I asked for something specific but it wasn't there. It was nice to be offered other options but I wasn't in love. After all I pretty much got the vehicle I asked for and over all I'm very satisfied, it feels like a dream. It wouldn't have happened without my salesman and his company who tried so hard to work with the bank to get me in my dream. Thank you honda!

We are first time customers at Harrisonburg Honda and our experience was very positive. Our salesman, Phil did a great job in walking us through the purchasing process. It took us a long time to figure out what we wanted, but he was very patient, and we never felt pressured at any point. Since Phil works primarily at the Hyundai Dealership next door, there were a few things he didn't know about the Honda, but he was always honest in saying so, and found the answer to our questions quickly. Truly felt like he was committed to the process, but without the pressure. Just a super nice guy. During the negotiating phase, the manager (don't recall his name), who has the final say on price, was also respectful and did not make us feel uncomfortable. The whole process moved along without any glitches.

Salesman nestor did everything he could to get me into the car that i wanted and got me out of the car i didnt like (2014 kia soul) i got a much better interest rate and about the same payment for a much better and more loaded car. And we all know that honda lasts a long time. At one time i had a 99 accord with 427000 miles that still ran and shifted just fine

We decided to trade our 2013 Honda CRV in for a 2015 at the Harrisonburg Honda Dealership, April, 2015 due to a promotion that we couldn't refuse. We used our same saleman (Antonio Rodriquez) as we had the first time around because he took wonderful care of us. He went over and beyond to get the price that we needed in order for it to be worth trading. Since then, he has been in contact with us and am so impressed with the personal service! We recently purchased a 2015 Honda Pilot from Chris Simmons at Harrisonburg Honda. Chris was wonderful and we love the car. I worked with Antonio Rodriguez to evaluate my trade-in value as well as purchase a brand new 2015 Honda CRV. Antonio is incredibly personable and professional. He was amenable to communication via text message to arrange appointments so that my time spent at the dealership was optimized. Throughout the process, Antonio was courteous, professional and personable. I appreciate the manner in which he conducts business. There is also good teamwork within the staff. Specifically, during hours that Antonio was not present, he introduced me to Eric Blosser to coordinate paperwork and worked with Matt Bentel so that final paperwork and processing was expedited without compromising quality. Thanks to Maria Beckett for the wonderful customer service! She hooked me up with Bluetooth and went out of her way to help me...she was very friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service!!! I had already purchased the vehicle from a private owner and didn't have a clue how to make the Bluetooth work. That afternoon I pulled in the lot and she walked over and took the time to help me knowing that it wasn't a sale for her. Now that's excellent customer service!!!! I have been a customer at Harrisonburg Honda for 5 years and I can honestly say my most recent visit was one of the best! I was only there to have my car serviced when I ran into Chris Simmons. I explained a few things I was looking for in a new vehicle and he instantly knew which vehicles to show me. He was extremely informative and honest. When I wasn't entirely sold on making a new purchase, Chris understood completely and did not push the situation. Regardless, he was more than willing to show me the new 2015 CR-V even though I still had no intentions on making a purchase that day. Went to purchase a new car for my daughter to drive to school. E.C. Shifflett was great to work with, minimal wait, and he was great at explaining the ins and outs of the car to my teenage daughter who has to drive over an hour a day to Shenandoah Valley Governor's School in Fishersville and then back to her regular high school. Both E.C. and Dan Johnson were courteous and friendly and made the experience much better than my last car buying experience. I would highly recommend both gentlemen as well as Harrisonburg Honda. My daughter and I went to different dealerships in Staunton and Harrisonburg and this was by far the best experience for both of us. Car's running great and we are very happy.

When I came to Harrisonburg Honda, I was just starting my evaluation of a handful of cars I was considering for purchase. Joe Gioscio was helpful, informative, and patient. I test drove different models of the Fit a number of times, and also brought my wife by for her opinion. Through all this, and numerous questions about the models and options, Joe was knowledgeable and personable. I ended up choosing Honda financing, even though I had a loan ready from my Credit Union. All in all, I am please with the value of the car that I purchased, and would strongly recommend Harrisonburg Honda as a great place to buy a car. My previous car was totalled and this dealership went out of its way to make sure that I was a repeat customer. They more than beat competitor's pricing, provided a loaner when the upgrading was delayed, and everyone at the dealership was very pleasant and courteous. We bought a Civic from Valley Honda in Staunton in 2011 so when we decided we wanted a new Accord, we went there first. We had a great experience in 2011 but that wasn't the case this time. Our salesmen was a little pushy (the one we had from 2011 was no longer working there) and what they offered us on the Civic we wanted to trade in was insulting-especially since we had bought the car there. We decided to go to Harrisonburg Honda and had a great experience. Cristian was our salesman and he was awesome--wasn't pushy at all and treated us like we had been friends for years. After being told by other dealerships that it was "impossible" to take out a car loan while having no credit, I was directed to Harrisonburg Honda by a family member who had a very positive car-buying experience there a few months earlier. I was skeptical, but decided to swing by anyways. I'm 27, and have never had a credit card or taken out a loan before. My credit score was 0. But they looked at my income, work history, and they worked with me. They asked what I could afford to pay per month, made copies of my driver's license and pay stubs, and set out to find a loan for me. I think it took all of 10 minutes for them to come back with an approval, and a monthly payment plan that was right within the range I had asked for. The car was EXTREMELY clean (it was a used 2010) inside and out, and they also gave me a full tank of gas and two extra keys before sending me on my way with my new car. It's also worth mentioning that they let me keep my old car in their parking lot until I could come back with a friend and get it a few days later. I couldn't muster up a single complaint about the experience even if I tried. Everyone was friendly, and eager to help out in any way possible. Big thanks to Tyler, Chris, and Matt. I'm loving my Camaro SS!

Not shopping for a car for 16 years we didn't know what to expect. After pulling into the lot we were greeted by Joe Gioscio. Finding out we were looking for a used Honda Odyssey with low mileage we were amazed at how knowledgeable he was of the van. He was patient and answered all of our questions and concerns. The lot didn't have the color option we wanted, but Antonio found one and had it on the lot Tuesday. Picked up our new CRV Wednesday evening. As a first time car buyer, I went to where I was most comfortable which was a brand I already knew in a town I grew up in. Antonio was the first person to reach out to me. We did most of our discussions over the phone. For a sales rep to go out of their way to help a customer who lives out of town, that's remarkable. Antonio went above and beyond for customer service. Eric also did an amazing job of reviewing the paperwork with me and answered all my questions. What I found was amazing with this dealership was that they had already done the legwork for me. I had a wonderful experience buying a new car from Nester at Harrisonburg Honda. He took me to test drive any car I wanted, even at other dealerships. He spent the whole day with me! My first experience with Harrisonburg Honda is when I stopped in on a Saturday evening right when they were closing. Antonio came over to me, introduced himself, handed me his business card and said that they were closed for the day, but he would be back in Monday morning and told me to give him a call. I called Antonio on Monday and asked to meet with him that evening around 5:00 pm. He said he would be there waiting on me, which he was.We discussed the new Honda Accord Coupe that I was interested in and then discussed price. I had a trade-in that I wanted them to consider. Antonio made arrangements to have my trade-in looked at while he and I went for a test drive. I was very interested in this car and Antonio made it even more impressive. Showing me all of the wonderful things the car had to offer.Once back at the dealership, Antonio sat down with me to review the price. He came back to me with a trade-in allowance that was way too low. I told him where I needed to be and he went back to his folks to see what they could do. I was pleased when he came back and told me that they could give me what I need out of my trade-in.I went back in to see Antonio right before they closed that evening to give him a deposit. I told him to work up my payments and give me a call. I heard from Antonio on Tuesday with information regarding my loan approval and payment amount. Antonio had my new car ready on Wednesday when I stopped in at noon to pick it up. He followed up with me later in the week to see how things were going and to let me know that he would make an appointment to have this protective coating applied and he would get back to me with the date. The next week I dropped off my car and picked up a rental. The next day, Antonio picked up my car and brought it back to Harrisonburg Honda where I picked it up. All nice and clean and ready to go.I appreciate Antonio's willingness to work with me and eagerness to make a sell. He is very professional and very personable.I love my new car and I'm very happy with my experience with Antonio and Harrisonburg Honda.Thanks Antonio!!

We came in to look around, after having been to other dealerships (ones we were not too impressed with service-wise) but we came into Honda and Nestor came out to greet us, and I have to say he was awesome! Nestor was really helpful and gave us a lot of information , it was obvious that he was trying to help us out and give us the best deal he possibly could which he did!!! It was great!!!! I have to say that the Harrisonburg area is a very friendly area to shop for anything, but we found the Honda dealer employees really stood out. They were attentive to our needs and very helpful trying to find us a car that met those needs. Everyone we spent time with or even bumped into at Harrisonburg Honda was friendly and courteous. Over the weekend, we purchased our second Accord from Harrisonburg Honda. Prior to our purchase, Johnny did a great job of talking us through our different options and showing all the features of the vehicle. While I never felt "pressured" to purchase anything, at some points, I felt that communication could have been better as some was done through email, text and phone.When we came back to purchase the vehicle, Johnny was with another customer and EC help us get exactly what we wanted. During our time with EC, I felt that he really did a great job of explaining everything and making us feel comfortable with the purchase. I really appreciated him working with us from start to finish and not going between us and other customers; it made me feel like we were important and not just another sale.Overall, our recent experience at Harrisonburg Honda was great.

The experience I had in my purchase of a new Honda was as good as I have ever had. The sales representative (Julius) gave me and my wife his undivided attention and presented all options without any sales pressure. He truly seemed to want us to find the perfect vehicle for our needs. He has been most accommodating when I have had questions about the functions of some of the technology in the vehicle and has not only spent a considerable amount of time showing me how to operate the various components but also encouraged me to never hesitate to call him with any questions I might have in the future. I feel very comfortable that I have someone to look after my interest going forward should the need arise. I feel as if I received a fair deal from the Dealership and am pleased that I was able to buy locally. Hopefully I will continue to feel this way going forward when I have my vehicle in for service. That is often when the proof is in the pudding as to the real character of a dealership.

Andrew Gallagher was our sales rep. Good experience overall. Although, we did feel rushed through financing. we ended up paying 26,432 and not 26,000 like we were promised as long as we committed a certain amount on the down payment, which we did. Some blame for that is on us as we did not thoroughly review the paperwork. I understood the gap payment was provided for us but later discovered we are paying 850 for that. Again, part of the blame for that was us lacking to thoroughly review financing paperwork. I just think that could've been explained a little better. We were pleased with Andrew and the rest of the team and feel that you guys made us comfortable with the purchase. Thanks again!

If you're shopping for a car, I highly recommend buying one here. I recently purchased a Honda Civic here at an amazing price. Chuck Nickols responded very quickly and efficiently to my questions online and was very kind. I initially had some trouble getting a loan here( I'm young and don't have anything substantial in my credit history yet), but they went out of their way to contact different loaners so that I could get the car I wanted. They were able to get me a loan with an insanely low interest rate! I'm glad I bought my car here.

i went in at first just to get my car fixed. after talking to antonio about what happened to my car and just poking around the lot he helped me get a car that was right for all my needs at a great price. I was not planning on buying a car and no one pushed me into buying one. i got aa great price on a car ive wanted for a few year. This has been our third purchase from this dealership. Nestor was quick to offer his help when we arrived but was not pushy like some dealerships. He treated us like friends. Perry Sager of Harrisonburg Hyundai was extremely helpful and patient with my wife and I with our search for a new or used SUV. He was able to show us many different vehicles being that they are associated with multiple dealerships (Harrisonburg Auto Mall). Over a two day period we test drove and spent a lot of time crunching numbers. Not one time did we feel that we were over staying our welcome. He answered each and every question we threw at him. We ended up at the Harrisonburg Honda dealership for the Honda Pilot. There we met the sales manager Eric who also went to great lengths getting us the very best deal. We are now the proud owners of a 2012 Honda Pilot which is basically brand new. Our children love the dvd system in it, which the sounds is amazing. Perry went over the owners manual with us and showed us the ends and outs of the controls and the multiple settings that the Pilot offers. I cannot say enough about the Perry Sager and what he did for us. Also like to thank Eric as well for making it a pleasant experience. I have been going to Harrisonburg Honda for service on my Hondas for the last 8 years. It has always been a pleasure to interact with the service managers and technicians, whose work is solid and nearly flawless. Once there was an inexplicable oil pan crack after having the oil changed, and the service department took care of the problem without a fuss or delay. I have bought two Hondas from them and had an outstanding buying experience in both cases, once with Rich Glovier and now with Antonio Rodriguez. No pressure, very friendly, and solidly professional. I rated Harrisonburg Honda as high as possible because of overall quality in customer service, employee knowledge, and the fact that this dealer has the best level of professionalism that I have seen in comparison to other car dealerships I have dealt with. This is the third Honda Civic I have purchased through Harrisonburg Honda and my sales associate yesterday, January 17, 2014, Derek Pyburn, was very helpful, patient, personable/friendly, efficient, polished, informed, perceptive, and witty. Derek was able to capture my attention during the periods of down time during the deal process. Mr. Pyburn answered every question I had to the fullest extent and made sure that my needs were taken care of. On a scale of 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest rating, I would rate Derek as a 10 overall. What a great asset to your company, he is!!I also worked/spoke with a few other employees at this dealership. Sales Manager, Eric Blosser - was real and honest with me and I really appreciate that. He had my best interest in mind and I respect him because of it. Sales Manager, EC Shifflett - has a wonderful personality and a great flow. He definitely knows business. Business Manager, Matt Bentel - has worked with me before in 2008 during the purchase of my second Honda Civic. I bought a new Honda Fit from Harrisonburg Honda and I had an absolutely wonderful experience. After emailing Chuck with questions I received a quick, and friendly response about the cars available on the lot and the options that were available for me. It was very reassuring to have my questions answered quickly and thoroughly, and with complete transparency. As a first time buyer I felt like Chuck and Matt worked hard to make everything very clear, and didn't try to tack on extras that I didn't need. Chuck Nichols is A+++. Very straightforward, without any of the games that salespeople sometimes try to play when you are purchasing a new vehicle. Nice person who tells you what he can and can't do; we purchased under the Costco auto program, and I cannot recommend him too highly. Everyone in the dealership treated us well. I was able to call the dealer and talk to Julius Wells about a used SUV and made an appointment to see it in a very timely manner of a few days. Julius was very helpful and continued to make contact and make arrangements for us to see the vehicle. When we went up to see it, we were able to drive it and he gave very helpful information about the vehicle and was very knowledgeable to all questions we had. We were able to make a deal that day and drive it home in a couple hours from arriving. Julius was very friendly and helpful in this process, and made it the best experience at a dealer I have had. I would recommend him and this dealer network, and would go back to them again.

Where do I start...okay, I knew exactly what vehicle I wanted and decided it would be best for my schedule to buy it during my holiday vacation. However, somehow the ball was dropped where I had just test driven it and my request went ignored. Since I would be vacationing in the Harrisonburg area, I gave Harrisonburg Honda a call and a very courteous and interested Julius Wells answered. Unfortunately, they didn't have the car I wanted but I liked how they had a sincere desire to sell me a car, in other words, that I was being taken seriously. I stopped by and that's when I met E.C. Shifflett. They were able to beat the other price I had gotten and my loan rate as well. I went in there several times to say I'd have to go back to my original dealership though because at least they physically had the car (although I didn't think I'd get as good of a deal, rate or service). To make a long story short, they got my car (from afar) before I left (and it wasn't easy); and I drove away very happy. It was due to E.C.'s determination, creativity and hard work that got me that car and I can't tell you how much I admire those qualities. I'm thankful for the whole team I worked with there at Harrisonburg Honda including Matt Bentel the finance guy (he's so not scary at all!), oh, and of course, the Honda Cafe...very nice.

In my 40 + years of buying cars, and I buy quite frequently E.C. Shifflett is as good as it gets. E.C. is a true professional and everything he said he would do - he did. His product knowledge is fantastic. Even my wife liked E.C. very much and was extremely impressed with him. If you are in the market for a new or used vehicle - you couldn't be in better hands than E.C. E.C. truly cares about his customers and treats them as he would like to be treated, and another great attribute - he listens to your needs. Be a Sales Manager at another automobile dealership in the Washington, D.C. market made me want to apply for a job. The whole staff, especially the Sales Manager were great. We visited H'burg Honda, after test driving a used Ridgeline at a nearby dealership. Wanting to look at possible alternatives, we drove to H'Burg Honda. E C Shifflett greeted me inside the dealership, and offered his help. He advised that he had a very nice certified, pre owned, Ridgeline in stock, and quickly showed us the truck offering a test drive. Our initial reaction, was that the much newer, lower mileage, certified truck, was beyond our budget. For the sake of comparison with the other Ridgeline, we decided to accept E C's offer to test drive. After the test drive, and some discussion regarding the advantages of choosing the Certified Pre Owned truck, E. C. "gave us some space". My wife and I talked some, and decided to make an offer. After some brief negotiating, our offer was accepted. Matt quickly worked us through the paperwork and we were out the door with a new (to us) Ridgeline. Suzanne was very friendly and was able to provide me with the answers to all my questions. Not to mention putting up with my sisters who were assisting me with my purchase. We were quite a handful and she was very patient and not pushy. The dealership also was very responsive to my questions about the brakes and corrected the problem immediately, impressive. I contacted Suzanne later to convey I had left CDs in my old car and that I wanted a manufacturers manual. She responded immediately and sent the manual and CDs within the week of my inquiry. My 13 yo truck died on me and the costs to repair it was more than it was worth so off to the internet I went searching for a new ride. My bank has a car buying service with a "no haggle" policy and offered up several different makes and models I was looking at. Chuck at Harrisonburg Honda was one of the first dealers to reply back about my inquiry. I paid them a visit days later to check out the car - Honda Fit - and test drive it. The size of the car, excellent mpg, the fact that it was a Certified Used Honda and Chucks sales assistance made my decision all the more easier. I drove off the lot with my new car a happy camper. This is our best car purchase experience ever. This is our 5th and 6th Honda lease purchases. When we arrived to pick up our vehicles, everything was ready, and we spent less than 2 hrs turning in our vehicles, and driving off in the new Honda's. Our Salesman, Rich Glovier, was polite, conscientious, and upfront throughout our search for a new CRV-EX-L. He (and Harrisonburg Honda) were competing against many of the local Honda big Boys i.e. Pohanks, Browns, Koons, and Honda of Dulles. All the other Dealers tried to play the Very Annoying Car Dealership games. Rich was different and his patience paid off. Kinda like he won The Royal Rumble even though others offered better prices, better rates, and were much closer to us!We were VERY please with the whole process with Harrisonburg Honda!

He gave me various new and used car options and was very thorough in explaining the advantages and disadvantages of each. Antonio was very attentive and helpful in my search for a vehicle. We went into Harrisonburg Honda multiple times in our pursuit of a vehicle that was just right for our growing family. We had a specific list of wants, negotiables and non-negotiables. Each time we went, we were greeted upon entering, and given adequate attention. The sales staff worked hard to find exactly what we were looking for, helping us narrow down our list and even encouraging us to think beyond our list, to consider pros and cons of what we "wanted" to be sure we were satisfied. Richard was an excellent sales rep. Robert, a polite, non-pushy manager who listened to what we were asking and delivered on it! Nester and Zach stepped in to help out on nights we were there that Richard wasn't. Great teamwork!Being able to get the vehicle tagged at the dealer as well was a huge plus! Me and my wife was wanting to buy a new car and we liked the reviews for the new 2013 honda accord so we contacted harrisonburg honda via internet and instantly was contacted by salesman tyree martin. Tyree from the first time we talked with him was so helpful and knowedgeable about honda products. Tyree showed alot of patience with us as we was unsure of color, model, options, etc, each of these times tyree would have to get different prices as we tried to figure out what we wanted. I cant explain how great the experience was, when you are not sure of what you want and dont know the product that well you only can hope to meet and have a salesman like tryee martin. When all was said and done we are the proud owners of a 2013 honda accord sedan that we 100% satisfied with. We hope anyone who is considering buying a new vehicle but doesnt know much about the product, we hope you meet and have a advisor/salesman such as tyree to assist you.

I drove two hours each way to buy a 2013 Honda Accord from Harrisonburg Honda because they saved me more than $3000.00 compared to the best quotes I could get in northern Virginia. Tyree Martin was great about offering me the lowest no-haggle price in the state and is a complete professional. Tyree helped me choose a car and explained all the new features as well. Mike Mele handled the finances and explained all the options with regard to extended warranties and maintenance packages. He was informative and very low-pressure. I went with the 48 month pre-paid maintenance plan and still paid less overall than the best quote I could get in northern Virginia.The rest of the staff at Harrisonburg Honda was friendly and polite. When I am ready to upgrade my 2008 Odyssey later this year or early next year I will be calling Tyree and his team at Harrisonburg Honda. I could not be happier with the car and the buying experience.

Sept 2009 we went to Harrisonburg Honda looking for a new vehicle. We had a salesman named Tyree Martin who greeted us. We explained to him what we was looking for and our price range. We drove away in a new 2009 CRV and we loved it. So due to the mileage on my 2009 CRV, we went back to Harrisonburg Honda, got with Tyree and after a few hours he had us leaving in a 2013 CRV. If anybody is looking for a vehicle we highly recommend Harrisonburg Honda and Tyree Martin. Atmosphere was great, everyone we came in contact was very friendly.

Excellent experience purchasing a new Honda from Rich Glovier. Good communication by e-mail in advance of test drive, purchase price quoted was best of three different Honda dealers. Good coordination of trade in and purchase before I came in, and he made arrangements to transfer the color I wanted from another dealer before my visit, which another dealer was not willing to do. He spent time explaining how the electronics work, and helped me set up Blue Tooth for my phones. Yev P. was not pushy when it came time for the business transaction, which was nice. Would definitely recommend this dealer to others.

After 2 months of negotiating over the phone I agreed on a price from Tyler. I had a two hour drive one way to get to Harrisonburg. When I arrived the price increased $1,800 more. Could not unterstand how we could be so far off in price. Tyler denied that he never agreed on that price. Left the dealership without a car.

We went in looking to replace husbands car and wound up replacing mine also. Antonio explained everything and helped me set my phone up. Any questions I've had they've been very kind in answering. When you're retired, all the automation requires quite a learning curve and they've been so kind about explaining and helping us. Yev was very good in explaining all our options. I had been looking for a used 2011/2012 Civic, and had been disappointed by a few ads that looked good, but by the time I contacted the dealer, had already been sold. When I called Harrisonburg Honda, they offered me a new 2012 Civic for the price of a used one. I guess it was an end of the year deal. I dealt with Matt Bentel, who was very friendly, helpful, and made the process easy, yet professional. Living in the NoVa area, I was glad to find prices slightly lower than dealers in the DC metro area.Great service and a good deal. I recommend Harrisonburg Honda.

My husband and I were in Harrisonburg on Saturday and decided to just drive through the dealership to see what Pilots they may have. Tyree Martin came out and asked if we needed any help and we told him what we were looking for. Tyree then began showing us the Pilot and all of its features since we were looking for a vehicle to fit our Grandkids and family in. My husband was in the market for a new vehicle but was undecided as to which car or make to go with. After visiting Harrisonburg Honda and interacting with the staff, especially Corey Howard, there was no question. We had done alot of research on different makes and models, but after the service we received and the quality of a Honda, there really was no doubt. The whole crew at Harrisonburg Honda was friendly and worked very hard to make a great deal on terms we were comfortable with. (Especially Michelle in the finance department. She worked hard to get me the extended warranty I wanted while still staying in my payment range.) They did such an awesome job, we bought not only one, but two Accords the same day. They made me an offer I couldn't refuse in trading in my 06 CRV for a new Accord. I especially liked that I could text Corey with any questions I had and he was so quick to respond and really worked hard for us. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a car, they will treat you right. By the way, this was my 5th new vehicle from Harrisonburg Honda and I will be back, I have no reason to look elsewhere. Rich Glovier is a salesperson very comfortable with Internet buying. No pressure, very good price, quick response to questions. Trustworthy. No complaints. Yev Primbetov is the finance manager and his role is to get you to buy the profit-heavy extra coverages. I don't make any big financial decisions under pressure and if I'm not able to do research. With Yev you are quickly shown many options, he crosses out things printed out, doesn't take one decision at a time, and is relentless. All that is what he is paid to do. I get it. When I declined all the (expensive) add-ons the room became chilly. Yev lost his smile and clearly was angry, he took away all the printouts with options and costs, then he moved very quickly to get me out of his office. His unprofessionalism made me very glad I didn't buy anything. If I had been given the choices in advance, or if I had 3 or so days to decide - with everything clearly shown in writing - I probably would have purchased the extra warranty and maintenance. We were on vacation in Harrisonburg. Saw a 2013 Accord commercial in Leesburg,Va (a stop over visit to family on our way up). We visited this dealership to check the pricing and the amenities the 2013 model had to offer. Antonio was our sales rep. He was knowledgeable and treated us like we were family. He took the time to assess our needs and what we were expecting to find in a new car. The 2013 while a good price was a little to techy for us (even though it was a great price). We are not smart phone people. However, I loved all the features on my 2001 Honda. He showed us the 2012 Honda Accord. It had all the features of my 2001 plus a larger moon roof. It was beautiful when we picked it up the sidemolding and spoiler were added. It also had bluetooth with which my cheap virgin moble phone can connect. Rarely used it as I cannot drive and dial at the same time. This was a great feature plus the heated seats and this model still has the 6 cd player. Still learning to use all the push buttons on the dash. It is a v6 but it has this eco feature that will let it use 3 to 4 cylinders to save gas which it did most of the 4 hour drive home.We got a great price. Yev gave us great financing, warrenty and the armour coating (which garrantees an additional $500 on a trade).Not pushy just like having a conversation with family. Credit rating not run without asking permission first!We would definitely reccomend this sales team and dealership to all who are shopping for vehicles. They are also offiliated with Cosco, if you happen to be a member.We are not facebook users so you must guess how satisfied we are with Antonio and Yev.

From the moment we drove onto the lot, and even before, when we were waiting for the 2013 Honda Accord to be released, the sales staff were incredibly friendly, in NO WAY pushy... and a delight to do business with!!~ :O))) They went WELL out of their way to make the deal for us that we went there seeking, if in fact, that we "fell in love" with the 2013, which of course, we DID!! I have to say, that although we had a few more months left on our lease with the 2010 Honda Accord that we had, the Sales Manager? Nothing was good or great. Not very friendly at times didn't seem like was telling it truthful. Example the key does lock and also starts the motor. Didn't know anything about Tenneco discount. No incencents or discounts like other dealers have.

The Sales staff was friendly and helpful and Dustin & Matt worked as a team. I travel all over the Valley and west part of the state and they gave me the best deal I found when looking at several other cars. Asked what they could do to make the deal happen, then they did it! They also went out of their way to close the deal by coming to a sick relatives home for my wife to sign the paperwork without having to leave her dad who was recuperating from surgery. That was service, (and a willingness to make it happen).

EC was primarily focused with helping me and noting the exact qualities I wanted in a vehicle, never using pushy sales tacics (as most vehicle sales people are known for). While traveling this summer my family, including a 3 month old, was involved in an accident involving our Honda. We had the SUV towed to this dealership's body shop and we're so glad we did! The salespeople we came into contact with were helpful, kind, and generous. Associates even drove us to the airport to try to get a rental car and when none were to be found they allowed up to sit in the dealership waiting area until our ride (four hours later) arrived. The manager was even willing to stay open late with us until we were able to leave so that we could keep our baby safely out of the June heat. My husband and I did not experience purchasing a car at this dealership, but the customer service we received was far and above what was expected and what we could have received at another location. After the accident they helped to ease our minds and provided the customer service that we have come to expect from Honda.

I came to the dealership not looking for a Honda, but looking for a Chevy Tahoe. I came to Ec because of his reputation of being honest, fair and his reputation. I told EC the things that I specifically wanted in a Tahoe and he found the SUV that I wanted. He kept in touch with me and my husband during the whole process, as to what he had found and if we would be interested. I had a great experience with Harrisonburg Honda. My sales associate was E.C. Shefflick, and he went out of his way to help me find the car I had in mind. Not only did I get a great vehicle, I got great service. He and Yev were both extremely professional and kind. They did not "shove" anything down my throat, but gave me my options and their advice to why or why not the options would be good or wouldn't be good for me, based on what I had in mind. It was nice to be able to shop without being pressured into anything I didn't want. I did not get the feeling that Mr. Shefflick was out to make a commission, but more that he was concerned I get exactly what I wanted. That means a lot because I was not able to take my dad with me and I am always afraid that people will take advantage of me because I am a woman. I would recommend this facility to anyone! All of the employees I worked with at this dealership were very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Each employee, including the guy pushing the broom and cleaning the windows, was warm and welcoming. I felt very comfortable and unpressured during the entire process, and I really felt that the staff made sure that I had a pleasant experience in making this purchase. I also appreciated the way that they kept the process moving without making me feel rushed. I enjoyed working with this dealership, and would definitely recommend them to others.

Our sales guy, Leo, made our whole experience so easy and smooth. We felt very comfortable with asking any and all questions we had and Leo made sure that he did everything to answer them. Yev handled all of the financial paperwork, and it was a breeze! He also made us feel right at home, and, again, he made sure that all of our questions were answered. Quite honestly, we were three weeks or so out from buying a car for my 16 year old daughter and came upon this dealership looking for a used car. Antonio came out to us immediately and pretty much, did not try to sell us a car and asked how we were and what kind of vehicles did we like. We spent probably about 45 minutes walking the lot while we talked about everything from sports to vehicle leasing and was very knowledgeable about what Honda offers. We then discussed family and he placed a personal touch on his own vehicle purchase, planning on the day when his kids are old enough to drive, to driving with his mom. Too funny! At any rate, he said that he had a car we just needed to see. I thought, well, here goes the sales pitch, but it wasn't about selling that car, it was about how cool it looked and his genuine excitement over it! I had to smile and when I turned around I saw the blue Honda Civic and asked Madison, my daughter, what about this one? She lit up like the fourth of July and so did Antonio! He got the keys, he showed us inside, he was selling this kid on all the nifty gadgets/computers while selling us on the economy of the vehicle and how Madison would know she was a money saver driver. We took a ride, all of us, and we had a ball! Antonio fit right into our family and we laughed and truly enjoyed the ride. Since Madison had always wanted a Mustang, we told Antonio we would be back and we rode around and the price that Antonio had given us for the 2012 Honda Civic was cheaper than some of the used Honda Civics that were 2010 models. Madison DID NOT LIKE the Mustang after driving that Honda...YAY!! (I'm a Honda owner, too) Sooooo, we talked dad into it and came back an hour later and told Antonio that he sold us a car, we wanted it! I've NEVER had an experience buying a car like that on my own and we wouldn't have bought that car if it hadn't been for Antonio, so A-ROD....YOU ROCK and you keep up the good work! We will come back to see you if I can talk my son into a Honda Civic SI or CRZ, and then you will definitely see me when I'm ready to pounce on another Honda! VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!

My wife called to determine price of lease, and gave the salesperson the down payment we wanted to apply. We were quoted $239 a month for a 2012 CRV. We decided to lease rather than buy, and picked up the car last week. To our pleasant surprise the monthly price on the lease agreement was $204, and we were told that Honda makes the first lease payment for us. Two days later we started receiving phone calls, there was an error in the paperwork. Long story short, we met with the salesperson and business manager who had a new lease for us to sign. Here were the errors:1. Mistake in original quoted price, apparently $239 was an error.2. Honda America does not make first payment on CRV, this was also in error.3. Lease agreement had one too many zeros to the left of a decimal point. Our monthly cost had gone from $239 to $204.72, and now $289.24. The excuse given by both Yev Primbetov (business manager) and Bryan Horne (general manager) was that this would not have happened if the business manager was not off that day. There was no explanation given why the original quote of $239 was wrong. While I would make no presumptions, I can at least state that this is misleading.

This is by far the best dealership I ever did business in. Professional, friendly, no-nonsense, great deals. Great experience- this was my fourth car from them and I intend to come back. Honda make great cars - but I am coming back for service. Before I bought my last vehicle - I looked around other dealers just to make sure. In Harrisonburg I was saving THOUSANDS of dollars, without having to negotiate anything - they just made me a great offer.

Antonio was amazing to deal with while buying our new Honda. I met him a few months prior to the purchase. After searching at other dealerships in Virginia as well as NC & TN, I came back to Harrisonburg Honda to buy locally as well as work with Antonio. He was straight forward while working with my mom to lease a vehicle. That is important to me! He got us a great price on a new one with payments right around what I would have been paying for a used one in TN! Antonio was kind, patient and honest. Looking for a mid-size SUV, comparing Honda, Toyota, and Chevy. Very good experience with Don Bell on first test-drive, he really knows the vehicle. Don did call the next day with further information, and when I mentioned I would be in touch a few days later, he was very kind not to call or email. Back a few days later, got a great quote, Harrisonburg did go get the color/package we wanted from another dealer through an exchange program.

I had saw the New 2012 Honda Civic online and wanted to Test Drive it. Me & my family have dealt in the past with Harrisonburg Honda & they have always been Great to work with. I arrived and saw the New Civic I wanted to drive. Taylor came out to assist me. He was very knowledgeable and very professional. He went over the car before we test drove it and showed me and took the time to explain everything about the car and how it worked. He went above and beyond anything I had ever experienced before. It was very refreshing because there was no pressure or anything during the whole transaction. After I drove the car we looked at different options of financing and leasing. We sat down and looked at the options and it took no time at all and he came back with the payments that I had wanted. In the past when I would do a deal on the price and payments there was always haggling and took forever. Well this was not the Case at Harrisonburg Honda. They were very professional and cared about the needs and to make sure that I was happy and comfortable with the payments. It took very little time for them to get the pricing and payments and I did have a trade in. I was in total shock but yet there was no pressure and they made me feel like a part of the Honda Family at the Dealership. The General Manager Bryan came over also to talk to me and he was so caring about everything and making sure that I was being taken care of and even took time to talk to me about the needs or concerns I had. I did not get the car that evening but the next day and I have to say Bryan and Taylor and everyone at Harrisonburg Honda is a Joy to work with. They made me feel right at home and no pressure and made sure the car was ready and even got the mud guards on before I left and worked it in. This is Customer Service and they made sure I was taken Care of from Start to Finish and went above and beyond. The Finance Manager Robert was very professional also took the time to go over the paperwork and was very Professional and it took no time at all. Bryan and his team are wonderful to work with I would recommend anyone to Harrisonburg Honda and the wonderful service and Team they have.I will continue to always to buy my cars from them in the future and not hesitate at all and tell my friends about them. Thanks Taylor, Bryan for everything and making the transaction such a wonderful, fast smooth process. I will be a Customer for life no doubts.

My husband and I were very pleased with our experience dealing with Harrisonburg Honda. There was absolutely no pressure and Matt (the salesman) and Yev (the finance manager) did a great job of assisting us in the process. We orginially planned to buy from our local dealership in Staunton (Valley Honda), but we were turned off by the amount of pressure applied to us. We were upfront with the people at Valley Honda about not wanting to buy that day and that we were just in the research process, but they hounded us and at least 4 people came over to apply different strategies of pressure. This was not the case at Harrisonburg Honda. Matt, the salesman, was very amicable and easy to talk to, and he never pressured us, letting us ask questions and decide the buying pace. We only dealt with him during the negotations and he was very considerate as to getting the price down to what I was willing to pay. Only when I made the committment to buy did I interact with anyone else-- Yev, the financer, who was equally friendly and did not apply ANY pressure. The only negative to the experience was the wait to meet Yev (one hour), but Matt let me get on his computer so I could get my fianances in order...and later go web-surfing. The wait took so long because we were in a long line of happy customers purchasing vehicles...a good thing which speaks volumes for this business.We are happy to start our new family in our new-to-us CRV, and we feel that if we need an upgrade or new car in the future, we would jump at the opportunity to work with Matt, Yev, and Harrisonburg Honda again.

My wife and I decided on leasing a new vehicle in March of 2012. We dealt with Yev Primbetov and Justin Bowers who we had dealt with previously in the past two years for a new truck and a new car. The overall experience was excellent. I, like many others, avoid the car dealership experience at all costs. It was helpful to have the first contact through the on line representatives. When we did arrive at the dealership, there was no pressure and none of the "car salesman" feeling that I usually associate with car dealerships. Following the first meeting, Rich was accesible but did not pressure us into making a decision. My only negative interaction was when I met with Yev. The entire process of extended warranty shopping brought back all the feelings I associate with car dealerships. I would have preferred that the options were presented with clear price tags allowing me to make a decision. The presentation of "packages" was unclear and I walked away feeling as if I had been "had". Given the stellar service at every other part of our dealings, I would think that Harrisonburg Honda would look into this part of their practice.

My review will be summarized by the word, "Wow". Why can't all car buying leasing be this much fun and no hassle and transparant? Yev is super knowledgeable and what can I can say, he is as enthusiastic as one can be....he loves cars, clearly loves his job and yet communicates clearly and with no sales pressure/hassle of any kind. In my almost 50 years, I have bought probably over 20 cars and never have I had a transaction go this smoothly..even the finanical part which sometimes can be filled with all types of major and minor surprises. Well I had one...our lease calculators were coming up with different monthly payment amnounts until we realized that there was $400 removed for VA property tax which I hadn't entered into my calculator. But heck, this was the smoothest, fastest and I dare say seamless transaction ever...I am writing this review a few hours after driving my new Pilot home (no fewer than 2 hours one way) and I am still shaking my head how much fun this process really was...except the two hour drive to and from the dealership. I am not sure Yev or Harrisonburg Honda could do anything about that...but am sure if there was, they would have done it. So the drive was certainly worth it. Yev and the dealership staff know their stuff and get a "10" in customer service.Let me also say, I do "MY HOMEWORK"....I had contacted at least 10 DC and Baltimore area dealers to negotiate a sales price and while I got the price I wanted a few times, it was not available for a car not in stock. I got the sense that while some dealers would do a dealer to dealer trade, not unless, and this is my guess, there was enough money to be had by all parties. Needless to say, nobody offered me my target price and actually had the model, trim and color I wanted....until I talked with Yev at HH...he offered to have it transferred and it was...WITHIN ONE DAY. So Yev offered to sell me the car at my competitive offer AND buy or take my trade in at its fair value.....Do you know how hard it is to get BOTH of those things at once...very rare I can tell you...and then to get both things and get the financial part of the transaction clear and transparant....even rarer still I'm afraid to say.Anyway, I can't say enough good things about buying or leasing a new car at this dealership...it was worth my two hour drive from Northern VA...maybe in three years when my lease runs out, I'll go back to Harrisonburg Honda to pick up my Hydrogen Cell Powered SUV....One can hope right...scratch that, I'm sure if Yev is there, he'd be selling the new Acura NSX....but probably not until Jerry Seinfeld or Jay Leno duke it out...oh wait that's an Acura...oh well.Seriously, someone is clearly minding the store at Harrisonburg Honda to both hire sales professionals like Yev and secondly to allow them to do what they do best, talk about what they love and sell cars like hotcakes.......

Very knowledgeable, helpful staff with an easy, no pressure sale/purchase! Wonderful customer service! My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Rich and our purchasing experience. He is an extremely helpful salesman and had specific answers to our questions about the vehicle. We found our salesman to be very knowledgeable about the Honda models we were looking into purchasing and could tell us details on the specific used vehicles on the lot as well. We felt very confident and comfortable working with Rich. We did not feel pressured at any time to choose something we were not satisfied with. We decided to purchase a 2012 Accord. The purchasing process was very smooth and efficient and we were pleased that the negotiation of our trade went smoothly as well. All finance and warranty information was explained by David in detail, which allowed us to make an informed decision. Rich and David stayed an hour after the dealership closed to help us finish with the purchase process. At no time did we feel like we were an imposition, even though they may have had better things to do at that time. At the time of purchase, our things were transferred from our trade vehicle to the new vehicle: plates were switched over, blue tooth was set up, etc. Rich took the time to tell us all about the special features of our new car after the purchase was made, too. Also, this dealership coordinates with the DMV, so they completed the DMV tag transfer and registration for me! No sitting forever at the DMV!! Harrisonburg Honda also followed up with our insurance company the next morning to verify all the information they needed was received as well. We have never had such a great car-buying experience before. Rich and David were truly committed to an exceptional customer service experience. We certainly recommend them for your car buying experience!

All most professional,very cordial and friendly, unbelievable effort to please me and had a terrific knowledge of their vehicles. I wanted an LX, CRV to replace a new 2011 Honda accord that was totalled in an accident, so I went back to Harrisonburg Honda. My totalled accord had been taken there, so I contacted Bryan Horn, the manager. He was instrumental in working with the insurance adjustor to get me a settlement for the totalled car. After that, I told him that I wanted to buy a CRV to replace the accord and he was most accomodating. This happened in Jan. and the CRV's were in manufacture at the time. He kept in contact with me weekly until the CRV that I wanted came in and really pressed forward to get it as soon as he could. It came in one day and I went down the next and purchased it. He was absolutely wonderful and Nestor, the salesman, was also terrific showing me all of the good things and changes in the new designed CRV. Nestor was sooooo knowledgable regarding the vehicle not to mention his wonderful personality as well. After we decided on the deal and I was pleased with everything, the paperwork was done by David Haydan who was super efficient and did everything I wanted including renew the state license tags. I could not have ask for a more efficient and cordial, wonderful staff. They are to be commended from all points. I recommend them as often as I can to anyone who is interested in purchasing a Honda. ALL OF MY VISITS HAVE BEEN MOST PLEASANT, PRODUCTIVE, AND MADE ME FEEL GREAT AFTER LEAVING THE DEALERSHIP!!

We are very pleased with Harrisonburg Honda. Our salesman, Matt Bentel, was a joy to work with. He was very informative, very nice and honest, and worked hard for us. He was easy to be with for the time we were there, and we felt we knew him for ages. He took our car out in the dark, cold, rainy evening to fill it with gas and wash it for us as well. I came to the dealership after extensive research on the internet and found their prices very competitive. When I arrived Yev met me and immediately gave me a detailed description of the car that I inquired about. After a test drive and some office chat we came to terms. I was very pleased with the experience and think Yev is a real credit to their business. Rich Glovier took car buying experience to a level that you can actually enjoy it!!! When I first heard my husband said we need a new car, I was very excited for the first 5 minutes, and then it followed with couple days of headache of the thoughts of dealing with car salesperson. When we started looking for our Pilot, we contacted several dealerships around DC area via online price quote, and Harrisonburg, VA offered us the best deal. In the beginning, we think it was too good to be true, there must be a catch waiting for us when we show up at the dealer. Rich and us kept exchange emails on exactly what we wanted down to the color, the model and the add ons. After both parties agreed on the final price, he wrote us an OUT OF DOOR itemized contract via email. That was the first time I called him and gave him our credit card number for a deposit. 3 days later, when he called us and told us the car was ready, we took a very nice drive to Harrisonburg, VA. Just like the others, we were mentally prepared to get bombarded with hiccups and road blocks, but there was none. Everything was perfect, the car was exactly what we wanted, and the paperwork and final cost was exactly what he quoted us. We were out of the dealership after 1.5 hour, and half of the time was because we took the car for a test drive. I will go back to Honda Harrisonburg, VA for our next car because they have the most honest, professional people working there. Ever since we got back, I have been telling all my friends that the 2 hour drive was really worth it.

We shopped for our new car at multiple dealers and talked with a number of Honda salespeople via our Web inquiry.Yev was consistent and persistent but never a nag and never pushy -- an excellent salesman.Most important, he was able to come up with the best price, and it was worthwhile for us to drive nearly 5 hours in one day to get exactly the car we wanted at the very best price anywhere.No one pressured us even while we were at the dealership with check in hand to pay for our purchase, and we were surprised and delighted!He was also very patient teaching us how to work the car's various new features.We are grateful for this experience in buying my new Honda CRV -- now I have space and genuine safety for helping out with my grandchildren -- and a delightful, comfortable, safe car just for my own use.My husband drives a hard bargain.af. I called Harrisonburg Honda and told them what I wanted and the price I would pay for a new Accord EXL. Tyler called back and gave me the go. He, the GM and the Finance Mgr. were all very friendly, very helpful, and great people to work with. When test driving the car all questions were answered that I was asking. Nothing like going to a dealership and your sales person knows nothing about the vehicle you are testing out. I have had several follow up calls on my vehicle and had some extra's put on the car since driving off the lot. All experiences have been good. Thanks:)

Not only did I leave there with a new car (at a great price) that I absolutely love, but I've also walked away knowing that anyone at this dealership will be there in the future to gladly assist me with any of my car needs. Rich & Jean are a team who know how the internet can be used to everyone's advantage.I contacted Harrisonburg Honda with an inquiry about purchasing a new Civic. I was willing to drive up to 2 hours to get a competitive price but only had time to take care of all the preliminary questions by email. I asked for a clear, itemized price quote ...and I got it. I asked for a clarification about an option ...and I got it. A few days later, when it was apparent Harrisonburg Honda had given me a best price, I asked for a way to make the deal firm without making the trip over more than once ...and, of course, I got it. Two days later I headed out to Harrisonburg to finalize the purchase. All the way over I prepared myself for a glitch that would take the whole day to sort out ...and there were no glitches! The financial contract was exactly what I expected, the paperwork was all set except for lots of signing and the car was prepped to go, exactly as promised. Care was taken to be sure I understood how to find and work everything on the new dash, how to adjust seats & mirrors, etc. The overall atmosphere was always welcoming and the group of people who pulled together all the day-of-purchase details clearly worked very well together.Jean & Rich earn my special endorsement for their ability to really listen to needs & preferences, their honesty and follow-through and their teamwork - which made my experience seamless no matter what day or time I needed answers. This is our second new vehicle purchase from Harrisonburg Honda. We have found our experiences to be outside (in a good way) of the "normal" dealer experience. The sales staff is extremely courteous, professional, informative, and not in the least bit pushy. Our Sales Associate, Tyler Rich, did an excellent job of answering all our questions, and providing information on our new CRV. We were offered a fair price, avoiding the need to go back and forth with offers/counter offers. Our experience was truly enjoyable, and we would highly recommend this dealership to anyone shopping for a new or used vehicle.

We went to Harrisonburg Honda in order to test drive a Honda Odyssey van as we are preparing for our second child. Tyree came out to help us right away and was very knowledgeable about the car and was even prepared to discuss the differences in the models from one year to the next. He provided us with many different options and packages of vehicle to choose from and helped us to make our ultimate decision to buy a 2012 Honda Odyssey. We also bought the Auto Armor package for the van and he offered to pick us up to ensure we got the van there as soon as possible. Overall, it was a great experience, especially working with Tyree.

We searched and researched Honda dealers for 8 months before making a purchase of a new Accord. We found our Sales Person, Matt Bentel, to be a very honest, friendly and professional. We had a few problems with our purchase but Mr. Bentel saw to making things right. All in all it was a good transaction. I was looking at getting a new Honda Accord for quite some time. I had heard lots of good things about Harrisonburg Honda and decided that I would go there to look at a new car. I was looking online and clicked on an e-price and got in contact with Rich. When we arrived to the dealership, we weren't bombarded with salesman. The gentleman that came up to me was very helpful in finding Rich. Rich came outside to meet us and pulled the new Accord up to the front for us to look at. Our daughter was taking a nap and Rich was so nice about that, so he would come go in and out of the dealership to get information and get the sale going. All the other places we had been, they told us that we had to wake up our daughter and just stay inside. We test drove the new Honda and fell in love with it. They did an excellent job with our trade and worked with us with financing. David, the finance guy, did an excellent job of making things work for us. He was very pleasant to work with. We were there until they closed, and even a few minutes past, and they weren't pushy to get us out of there. They were very patient and didn't make us feel rushed. I would definitely work with Rich again and would highly recommend Harrisonburg Honda. This was the best dealership I have ever worked with.

We worked with Rich Glovier on the purchase of our new Pilot (our 2nd new Honda we've bought through Rich). Rich was extremely well versed in the details of the car and of comments/comparisons in the major reviewing companies. Rich let us work at our own pace while still providing beneficial feedback. After our purchase, Rich took a great deal of his own time helping to ensure that the settings of the Pilot were adjusted just as we wanted as we took our new Pilot off the lot. We had purchased a new Honda Fit from Harrisonburg Honda in the past and had been very pleased with the experience. We went to Harrisonburg Honda again, thinking we would just test-drive a new Odyssey; we had already test-driven another mini-van, and hadn't yet made up our minds as to which to buy. We worked with Yev, and he was friendly, informative, and professional. He made us a great deal, and allowed us as much time as we needed to think/talk it through -- never pressuring us. Likewise, David, the business manager, was friendly and helpful. He provided us a financing option that worked well for us. So we left with a new Odyssey! We searched many dealers near Philadelphia (PA) (our home) and could not find a trustworthy place to invest for Honda Pilot. My relative lives in Virginia and suggested contacting Harrisonburg Honda. When buying my first car 2 years ago I was very skeptical about being pressured by salesmen and the overall process of purchasing a used car. Yev Primbetov educated me about Certified used cars and assured me it is a safe purchase. Since then my family and I have purchased 2 used Hondas from Harrisonburg. My family has purchased 4 vehicles from Harrisonburg Honda (3 new and 1 used). We have been very satisfied with their service and have found our experiences very pleasant. They have given us fair trade-in values and after having a bad experience recently with another dealership/vehicle I returned to Harrisonburg apologizing for not coming to them first! We also had a faulty airbag on a used Element, they repaired it for 1/2 the price of another central Virginia Honda dealership. Overall we have been very happy with all of our experiences at Harrisonburg Honda and would recommend them highly. We are sure to return!

It had been a long time since I bought a car through a car dealer, but since I had dealt with Don before at another business, I was willing to give it a try. As a woman, its important to me to deal with men who will listen to my concerns and needs, without dismissing me. Don made it clear as we discussed the details, that he was willing to extend himself and reach out to me in order to make sure I was satisfied with the transaction. Its very clear when you deal with a sales person who has great customer service skills -- and I alway make sure to refer and recommend people I can trust. As a mature babyboomer, I have made my share of automobile purchases. It is rare that I would give a positive review to a dealership since their aim is to seperate me from as much of my money as posssible. However, this dealership used that very opinion to make this purchase both painless and exiting. I was shown 5 vechiles (3 new and 2 certified used) that met my basic requirments; then I was asked to clarify me opinion on all and choose 2 to further consider. There was no rush, no heavy sales push, no "today only" approach; just honest efforts to make certian that whatever my decision, I would be comfortable with it.As to the final step- paperwork_ that's when most dealerships fail to keep the process pleasant; not so here; they took the time not only to explain the paperwork but to allow me to examine it at my own pace. While I finished this they were detailing my choice one final time so that when I exited the lot I had a warm fuzzy feeling regarding our transaction. By the way, I am a college professor who teaches courses in selling and marketing. The Honda dealership serves me well as class examples of how the process can be positive and rewarding.

I had a horrible experience at Harrisonburg Honda. I bought a used car that the dealership put out on the lot without fixing a pre-existing problem that they knew about and i had it back over there for the same problem they knew about and told me they couldn't find anything. The car also had other issues i that i tried to get resolved. I couldn't even drive the car for a while so it sat in my driveway while i was making payments on it. The car would not go into gear. Finally, to try to solve the problem i just traded the car in at Harrisonburg Honda and got a brand new one. After I got the new car my sunroof started leaking and they just acted like it was no big deal. So fed up with Harrisonburg Honda, I went to Valley Honda in Staunton and they were wonderful. They fixed my sunroof and they helped me more in one day than Harrisonburg Honda helped me in 4 months. Valley Honda cared enough to fix my car that I bought at Harrisonburg Honda. They really went out of their way to help me. If you decide to buy a car from Harrisonburg Honda you better hope you don't have any trouble with your car. They want to sell the car, but don't want to deal with you if you have a problem. I will not do business with them again. Go to Valley Honda in Staunton...THEY TREAT YOU RIGHT!

I can't say enough good things about this dealership. I purchased a certified used Honda Civic and was blown away at the excellent customer service. They treat me like a princess there, and even accepted my very low offer on the vehicle. They are great about working with you to get the (reasonable) deal you want. My mom purchased a used Hyundai from there and I went in, negotiated the deal, and it all worked out. They are very friendly with me, most know me by name, and I've never felt the least bit uncomfortable or pressured. The service department has also been very pleasant and I don't feel as if I'm being looked down upon as a female because the service manager is also female (at least one of them is). I always refer people to Harrisonburg Honda and I look forward to purchasing more vehicles from them. My only complaint is their stupid commercials with Jimmy Fortune...

On 5/2/08, I took my 96 Prelude to Harrisonburg Honda (HH) for service on a minor oil leak, AC problem, and inspection. I had diagnosed the AC problem to be a faulty condenser fan switch, which caused the fan not to run. After about an hour, a service rep at HH called. The tech said the condenser fan did run, and the AC problem was due to low refrigerant. I didn't believe this was the case, because I had observed the fan not running, and had refrigerant level tested by a licensed HVAC tech, and the level was normal. (The car has never needed a refrigerant recharge since Ive owned it.) I declined service on the AC, but still had the car inspected. Just before lunch, I arrived and paid for service. As I approached my car, I heard it hissing. I went back inside and askedthe Service Manager (Larry) to accompany me. To diagnose the hiss, he called a service tech, who found that pressurized refrigerant was escaping from a hole in the condenser. Larry verbally quoted just over $500 to replace the condenser. I declined the service, told him I would think about it, and left. It occurred to me that there was no mention of the hissing leak or condenser replacement in my service ticket. I drove back to HH and confronted Larry about this. I said the evidence indicated that the hole in the condenser was created while the car was in the care of HH, and asked that the damaged condenser be replaced. He denied liability, and said that I would need to speak with the General Manager (GM), who was not in. I went back to my car and againheard the hissing and saw moisture on the frame below the condenser, which was not there when I first heard the hissing, indicating the hole had been punctured not long before I first heard the hissing. I met with the GM on 5/6, and was told that the issue would need to be addressed by the owner, who was out of town until 5/11. As of 5/15, I still had not heard anything, so I called, and was told that the owner had been too busy to review my issue, and that it would be several moredays. I let them know I intended to contact the BBB, and they hung up on me. Today is 5/29, and I still have not heard anything from anyone.
