My sales guy, Tony, was so great to work with and I appreciated him working to find a vehicle that was within my budget. Everyone at the dealership was incredibly genuine and nice which was the polar opposite of the prior dealership I worked with in Middletown. It was a very relaxing experience getting into my new lease!! I truly appreciate the quick delivery process in getting me into my new car. I just recently purchased a new 2021 Rogue in Boulder Grey from Harte Nissan. I highly recommend the sales department. I worked with Michael V. He went over every aspect of my newly redesigned Rogue inside and out so I understood everything. He contacted me prior to pick up so I could have all the important information data and call my insurance company to get the correct paperwork. It was an easy buy and and even easier delivery. I had the best experience here. Keenan was my salesperson and he was awesome. He is very accommodating to your needs and always able to find a way to get you out on a road in a vehicle that will work perfect for you. From the time I stepped in to the test drive to buying my vehicle everything was great. I will definitely recommend coming here! My wife and I were shopping for a new truck we went to the local Nissan dealer in our town only to be totally fed up. The salesperson was not listening to what my wife wanted in a truck and did not seem know the product line. We decided to give Harte Nissan a try we were there shortly before the sales department open, and we were greeted by Scott MacDonald asking if he could assist us. My wife and I explained that we are shopping for a new SUV and that we had a bad experience at the dealership in our town. Scott apologized which was nice since it was not his dealership that was so incompetent. My wife gave Scott a list of items that she wanted on the SUV since she would be using the SUV. Scott was excellent showing us a 2017 Pathfinder that was on the lot, one of the things that my wife wanted was her new SUV to be as high as her 2004 Ford Explorer. Scott was even measured the height from the ground to the top of the seat and called us back with the measurement. The second time we came back after going to the local Honda, Ford dealers we asked to a 2017 in Green which Scott said they had to locate and they did in New Jersey, they sent someone to pick the SUV up and we purchased it two weeks later. I would recommend Scott to anyone who is looking to purchase a Nissan. He even offered for us to come back anytime if we have any questions on the Pathfinder. Scott is the reason why we ended up with a Nissan Pathfinder, I hope that when I have a need to use the service department at Harte Nissan they will be as good as Scott was.

Came for oil change which cost 15 bucks, patiently waiting 2 hrs, still not done. I have a breatherlyzer installed in vehicle for dwi, they told me they would charge 50 extra because extra time and labor it takes involved in the oil change. Spoke to the people who do the service, they said service rep is def lieing and trying to rip me off. I will wait till my service is completed and bring this issue up. This is 2nd issue i had with this service depatment The other was my brothers nissian murano which has the keyless ignition and somehow the key got stuck in the igintion. They charged me 500 to remove plus taxes. Overcharging hard working indviduals should be crime. Just overheard this guy next to me on the phone, he was saying that he got all kinds of discounts on his new vehicle purchase here at harte...these xxxxx are making customers feel like they got good deal and customer service....meanwhile they are jacking you up with extras when you bring in the car for service. Do not come here!!!!! Or buy new car here

This was my second time leading from Harte. My deal was complicated beacause I was ending my lease early. My sales person John Hair was polite, patient and knowledgable. He worked tirelessly with his manager Damen to get me the car and payment I could live with. Not to mention when I went to pick up my car it was ready as promised with a full tank of gas ! John and his team is great. Don't hesitate to give them your business. Love love love this place !

I purchased a 2016 Nissan Maxima, it was our family's 12th vehicle purchased at Harte Nissan. It is quite clear after this experience that it will be the last one we purchase. Shortly after the purchase the Leather starting to change colors, I contacted the General Manager Damen Polance to discuss this issue along with the fact the car was rattling. It only took him almost 3 months to respond and attempt to solve the issue. He had me bring the car into the dealership to have some sort of protectant put on the Leather, well let's just say that didn't work and it has continued to discolor. I went around Damen to Simoniz the company he claimed did the work, not to my surprise nothing had ever been done and Damen completely fabricated the story. In addition he then forged a Simoniz Contract which allegedly would of had me covered to repair or replace whatever the issue was. Simoniz asked for the the date the vehicle was purchased, he instead crossed that out and changed the date. Well let's just say I attempted to start a claim last week and they still have no idea what I am talking about. I will say, I had the opportunity to deal with Erin Touponse, Harte's Director of Communications and at first she seemed really wanting to help, I think towards the end she was just as annoyed at what was happening with her company that she gave up as well. There are many other Nissan dealerships in the Hartford area that will take care of you. It is a shame, Harte Nissan used to be reliable and a great place to buy a car. However, with a unethical General Manager that has changed.

Can't go wrong at Harte Nissan. Damon the GM and Laquea made my lease swap as easy as possible in and out in an hour and ZERO headaches!! I wouldn't go anywhere else and I travel across the state to do business with them. We have bought multiple cars from Harte Nissan and this is our second lease and we couldn't be happier!! I'm just going to start off by saying John Hair is amazing! A week ago, my mom took me and my brother to Hart Nissan to in hopes find me another vehicle. Soon as walked in we were greeted by Mr John Hair. He introduced himself and asked how he could help us. I told him I was expecting my first child and I needed a reliable vehicle that I could count on for my child's safety. As I looked around and seen the prices and the many many vehicles on the lot... I was quickly overwhelmed! John swooped in and saved the day and led me to the Nissan Rogues and I fell in love with the Nissan Rogue . Long story short, I drove out of there with a 2013 Nissan Rogue! Thanks to Mr John Hair I feel secure enough in my vehicle for my child and I. Thank you! Thank you!!

Well a week ago I took my daughter into the dealership looking for a Roque. Soon as we walked in here comes a very nice young man by the name of John Hair he was very nice right from the start. I explained to him what we were looking for and didn't want anything to expensive and I wanted something that was very reliable because as he noticed that my daughter was very much pregnant. Everyone at Harte Nissan is amazing. Damen Polance, the general manager, was exceptional! He went above and beyond to answer all of my questions. When I walked in, I was greeted by Kevin, a new sales associate. Kevin was not the most personable person to talk to. He did not ask too many questions, and I did most of the talking. I test drove a Nissan Rogue and then afterwards decided to negotiate. I'm not sure if it was just his personality or if it was because it was towards the end of the day, but Kevin seemed irritated and a few times I felt like I received attitude from him when I was trying to negotiate. Negotiation is a big part of car buying, and I wanted to make sure I was getting the best price for what I needed. The sales manager Brett was a great help, very personable, outgoing and friendly and came over and was able to give me a great deal. I went home and slept on it and called the next morning to tell Brett I wanted the car, and he said he would get it ready for me. When I returned that late afternoon, I again was greeted by Kevin. Kevin was mostly quiet, did not know much in terms of the process and things that had to be done, the iPad process we had to go through before I could leave with the car, and it felt like it made the process longer. Kevin did not seem very knowledgeable yet about the company and about the cars and the buying/leasing process. He also began complaining about personal issues as we were waiting around, which I understand everyone has, but it made me feel uncomfortable. Overall, I am happy that the sales manager Brett was able to get me a great deal on a car that I love, but I was unhappy being stuck with an in-personable rookie sales associate, especially being a return Nissan customer.

Purchased a used Pathfinder yesterday and it was the easiest car buying experience ever! What I liked best was how when we were talking pricing, it was all very clear as they would present a spreadsheet of price, rebate, trade in, taxes, fees, etc and the final out the door price. So when negotiating, you really knew where the numbers were coming from. Adis and Lincoln were both friendly and professional. Also, I felt like there weren't a lot of games going on so it was a quick process to conclude the deal. Great experience!

I came in looking to buy a used Nissan Altima. I had several cars picked out that I had found online, and came in to the dealership looking to test drive and make a cash purchase. I worked with Joe Zappia (not listed as an employee on Dealer Rater...big shock), and the guy fit every stereotype about used car salesmen. During the test drive, he received a text message and acted a little squirrely and said "I'll deal with that later". Sure enough, when we sit down to discuss price, he claims the text was his manager saying the car we drove already had a deposit on it. Yet the "financing" of the "other buyer" was "bad", so "maybe" they could sell it to me. Sure enough, he comes back with a quote above list and says its the best he can do. Even if any of that were true, what does it say about someone to offer to sell a car that someone else is purchasing? I walked out and took my business to another Nissan dealership in the area.

Ben was awesome, very knowledgeable and not pushy. It really came down to his personality and attention to detail as we already had a great offer from Crowley on a very similar vehicle. Ben didn't push off on another salesperson or let us wait in the lobby for 20 minutes after a test drive and ignore us. His friendly demeanor and sense of humor made the whole process painless.

I went to this dealer for service for over 5 years when I owned a Nissan and they were the absolute BEST. I should know, my husband was a service adviser at New Country Motors for 10 years with 24 total years in the business. He would tell me if they weren't good because he knows everything about this business and even he was impressed which is hard to do. Unfortunately, I decided to buy a Volkswagen this time and can't believe the crappy treatment I'm getting in the service department at Mitchell VW in Canton. I am almost ready to trade this car in for another Nissan just to come back here. I miss all the guys especially Victor Schmidt. He was the BEST service adviser ever, and if I say that you know it's true. I always looked forward to coming here because I knew the guys would do right by my car and me. I forgot how much worse it could be somewhere else - Take my word for it, these guys deserve awards for their service, you won't regret coming here.

We just leased a new 2015 Pathfinder with Harte Nissan in Hartford. Scott MacDonald is excellent. He wasnt pushy, he listened to what kind of vehicle we needed for our family and found us the perfect match. Scott MacDonald is one of the friendliest, most knowledgable sales people I have ever worked with. He found us a perfect car, for the price we were looking for. My children are happy with all the new space they have in the new car! I wouldnt buy or lease a car anywhere else but here. This is our second car we have leased here and we had nothing but great, fast customer service.

We had a great experience with Harte Nissan. I had a quick communication via email and a phone call on Friday. Arrived on Saturday at 1pm and left in a new Rogue at 5pm. Salesman John Eberhart and General Manager Lincoln Baboolal were awesome. This was one of the few times I didn't have to hassle over the sales price or trade in price. Lincoln was very fair in both and was able to give a better price on both compared to what was offered on the phone the previous day. I accepted the trade in and sales price without a second thought. We've never started and completed a purchase that includes driving away in a new vehicle in the same day before, and this was fantastic. Finance Manager Anni Sheehan was great to deal with also. She was very friendly and didn't attempt to pressure us into buying anything we didn't want. From start to finish this was my best experience ever purchasing a new vehicle. I would definitely come back and highly recommend them.

John Hair treated us great at Harte. He showed us the exact cars we were looking for and didn't try to "sell" us on anything. I had 5 months left on my Nissan Rogue lease and I walked in looking to purchase a Frontier. He showed me exactly what I was looking for in the Frontier and gave us his best and honest pricing. Unfortunately the truck just wasn't In my price range so they cut my lease short without penalty and put me in a brand new Rogue for the same monthly payment that I had. So easy!!

My wife and I were in on a Sunday and your sales department was short handed. John Eberhart our salesman did a good job. He told us if we were not ready to make up our mind after the test drive their were other customers waiting.( I could tell he felt bad) This did make us make a snap decision but it was a nice one. . Was disappointed upon delivery the car only had a 1/4 tank gas. John said he was told not to fill it up. Ann did a great job. overall a pleasant experience Their was some confusion on added accessories I was not informed of. I was assured later this mistake will be rectified. Scale of 1-10 the overall experience 7.5. I will recommend to others.

I shopped online first and narrowed down my choices to 3 different cars sold at their corresponding dealerships. My first appointment of the day was at Harte Nissan. John Hair made me feel comfortable and completely at ease with the test drive and answering any questions I had. I did not feel pressured in any way nor did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. Honestly, I was ready to purchase right then but decided to do my due diligence and keep my other 2 appointments. All that did was confirm that John Hair and Harte Nissan was the best choice. They gave me the best price for my trade in, transported the car of my choice from West Haven in pristine condition, and John thoroughly showed me all it's features - even making himself available if I had additional questions in the future. We started our search online. Immediately we were given reasonable options. Once in the store, the service was fantastic. They worked with our family to give us the car we wanted within our budget. They didn't have it on the lot but had it shipped and fully loaded in less than 3 days. After much research looking for a comfortable crossover vehicle my wife and I went to Harte Nissan to look at the Nissan Rogue. We were looking at vehicles outside the dealership when Babak came out and introduced himself. After listening to us describe what we were looking at and what our priorities were he expertly assisted us in assessing our choices and options. This was our first stop and we considered it more of a fact finding visit and by the end of our time there we were owner's of a new 2015 Nissan Rogue. There was no high pressure sales pitch, only the feeling that we were dealing with someone sincerely interested in helping us find the right vehicle. Babak was professional, personable and pressure free. Our paperwork was handled by Anni Sheehan and she was also wonderful to work with. We highly recommend Harte Nissan, Babak Pazoki and the 2015 Nissan Rogue!

I started the process of purchasing my 2011 Murano on line, and a few hours later I ended up going into the dealership to test drive the car. When I walked in, I was met with a smile and was told that I would be working with Babak. He was in the middle of another transaction, but as soon as the receptionist made Babak aware that I had arrived, he turned, smiled and said, as soon as I am done with this customer, I will be right with you. Once, Babak completed his previous transaction, I had his full attention. The few things that stuck out to me about Babak, was his professionalism, his knowledge of Nissan, his pleasant demeanor and his patience. When you have two individuals bombarding you with questions, it can be a little overwhelming, but Babak, didnt break a sweat, he was wonderful. He went over every inch of the car and explained the various features. He made the purchasing process very easy and I didnt feel pressured to purchase my Murano.Unfortunately, I had to pick up my car on the day that Babak, was off, but he made sure everything was set for me to pick up my vehicle, and Babak also responded to my various emails throughout the day. I would defiantly recommend asking for him if you are planning on purchasing a car from Harte Nissan Hartford.

Scott MacDonald and the Harte Nissan Team turned what could have been a complete nightmare into a happy ending. I bought a 2013 Nissan Sentra SV in Dec. 2014. Right before driving away, Scott and me talked about a spot on my back bumper that we both thought was just buffing wax. Fast forward to June 2015, I had a problem where my trunk wouldnt open and it was under warranty. I brought it to another Nissan dealer who told me that my car had been in an accident and my warranty wouldnt cover the repair yet my carfax was clean. I called Scott and the next day I had a loaner car and he confirmed my vehicle had been in an accident and that they were the only other owner of the car, but had no record of any kind of accident. Instead of saying that I was out of luck, Scott went to management and told them that the car had indeed left the lot that way in a show of total credibility and integrity. Scott and Damen then worked a deal that put me in a 2015 Sentra SV, taking over my upside down loan and drastically reducing the cost of the new car. They then went above and beyond to finance my new car at 0% and include an extended warranty, all the while making my payment less than what I was currently paying. Scott, Damen, and Ahsan worked to rectify and take responsibility for a mistake and fix a wrong. In the end, Im happy with how they handled everything and now I have a brand new vehicle! I will be sure to make Scott my sales professional down the road.

First of all the Salesman I had Ben Gallup was fantastic. He made me feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for me. He let me take my time test driving the Rogue and the Altima. My final choice was the Altima and I love it. Ben showed me every option in the car before I left the lot right down to connecting my phone. He showed me around the facility so I would know where to go for service, scheduled my first oil change. I couldn't be more impressed. I already had a Rogue and wasn't sure if I could trade it in for a newer make and model, given where I was in the terms of my current lease. Initially, I spoke with Ani, the finance manager, who was extremely helpful and very willing to have me discuss my situation further with a sales consultant/leasing specialist. I explained my current lease terms, my budget, what I was looking for in a car, and the sales consultant, Babak Pazoki, could not have been more patient helping me through the decision making process of keeping my current lease versus that of trading in my old Rogue for a newer make and model. After looking at Rogue's that fit was I was looking for, and discussing finance options/lease terms, he allowed me the chance to test drive the vehicle and ask any further questions. Due to conflicts in my schedule, Babak was extremely understanding that I needed to think about my options, and get back to him when it was convenient for me. I never felt pressured to buy, and he even offered that if this was not the time, that he and Harte Nissan would be here to help when I was ready.

If you want a used Nissan go see a Jay and Anthony at Harte Nissan. They were very responsive to my urgent needs. With two jobs and two kids , I have little time to spare. I really appreciate the "no negotiating" policy. They gave me the bottom line and then processed the transaction smoothly. When I needed the car, the new plates had not been received. So they sent me home with dealer plates for weekend!!! Can't beat that service!

My husband and I recently purchased a 2002 Pathfinder from Joe Zappia at Harte, what a great experience! Joe went over the entire vehicle twice, once when my husband test drove it and the second time for me when we picked it up, he was very thorough, and treated us like we were buying a new car, not a 2002 pre owned. I bought my Murano based on info that a new salesperson gave me, and it was backed up from what I read online at Nissan USA. Well that info was very misleading and it was that info that made me decide on the Murano. If I had researched the specs better and the salesperson was better informed on all the specs of the Murano I would have made a different choice. It was during the first week I found out that info was wrong. Now I don't blame the guy, he was new and there's always a learning curve. So when I went back to the dealership a week later Damon the sales manager brought myself and the salesperson into his office, the salesperson admitted he didn't double check the info and for good reason, the 2015 Murano I purchased had almost identical specs to the former model years but it was a brand new body style and design. Bottom line is the salesperson had the integrity to say he was wrong and Damon the sales manager steped up to the plate and made the corrections nessary at absolutely no cost to me. I'm now a very happy customer and I cant recommend this place enough. The only reason this is not a 5 star is that I have not used the service department enough to know how well they work.

When deciding on a vehicle to buy I did extensive research, I test drove every car in the category to make sure I was happy with the vehicle. I would either call ahead or just appear at the dealership. In the instance of Harte Nissan I called ahead. John Hair, the sales consultant assigned to me, greeted me and had the vehicle I requested ready to go for me when I got there. I test drove the vehicle and explained to John that I was not complete in my evaluation of vehicles. He understood and did not push me into making a decision. I left and continued my research. However, I was impressed with John and how he handled and respected my need to complete the process. After test driving all of the vehicles, which was weeks after my encounter with John at Harte Nissan, I could not stop thinking about how professionally John handled me and was impressed by his demeanor and personality. I ended up going to Harte on a Saturday and was not going to leave without a car that John sold me. I was a tough negotiator and he along with the sales manager and general manager we're able to come to an agreement. I will say both the sales manager and general manager were a pleasure to work with as well. Although I am not "Nissan" guy I think my next vehicle will be a Nissan from Harte based on my experience and as long as John Hair is still there..

My experience at Harte Nissan was fantastic. I initially inquired online and Katie quickly got back to me with a response. She acknowledged my needs and soon after I received an email from sales representative Babak Pazoki. He immediately informed me that he was there to answer any questions I may have and soon after we set up a time later that evening for me to arrive. I wasn't able to arrive until after there hours of operation, and he stayed there for me. He had a couple of cars picked out for me prior to my arrival, which I was very impressed by. Once I had chosen a car, he explained everything there was to know about it. We went for a test drive, and aside from my being impressed by the car itself, I was also VERY impressed by his knowledge & expertise. Once we got back to the dealership, his first question was one of most importance How did you like the car? I loved it! He gave me all of my options, and was more than happy to give me a couple of days to think it over. But it didnt take more than one night. The next day I went to pick up my Nissan Sentra SL and Babak was waiting for me with my new keys. He went through ALL of the features that the car included, and really took his time in doing so. Once again, impressed. Next up, I met with Ahsan who works in the Finance department. He was very personable and instantly made a great first impression. He went over all of the final numbers with me and made sure I understood everything he was explaining to me. Finally, I get to take my car home! Babak helped me empty my old car, & congratulated me and then I was on my way. Babok TRULY made my choice a very easy one.. If I was going to give my business to any dealership; it was Harte Nissan. Visited Harte for the first time for some minor service on my 2005 Nissan Altima. I was super impressed with the people at the dealership and their organization and attentiveness. I had no appointment and I was in and out in about 45 minutes. I also checked out their listed prices for certain types of maintenance and they were very competitive prices in my opinion.I must say I am usually skeptical of dealerships but the people at Harte inspired my trust right off the bat just by how they conducted themselves. I just purchased my Altima about a month and a half ago from a used car dealership, and now I have found where I will be taking it for service.I left there extremely happy and they have earned my business. So when the time comes for more extensive maintenance on my Altima, such as tune up, brakes, etc. Harte is where I will be going.

I had a great experience buying my Mom's new car from Harte. Alicia was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the sales process, especially in selecting accessories. Ahsan was really personable and assisted me in selecting coverage beyond the factory warranty. He was also conscientious of my requests and organized the paperwork for my Mom's signature just as I wanted. LaQuea was so bubbly and friendly and brought a lot of enthusiasm to the car pickup process. She also rounded out of the necessary final details, from insurance coverage to the grand tour of the vehicle features, all with a bright smile. I also liked how Harte is very techy - the virtual desktop paper-signing tool and the flash drive of documents in lieu of a stack of paper was a nice touch.

Just signed my second lease with Harte Nissan, I must say that they deserve a patience award for dealing with me! I wasn't sure what vehicle I wanted and drove several cars and trucks before I settled on a 2014 Frontier Pro-4X. Mike V. was very patient and willing to have a graphic removed as I really didn't like it on the hood. He also went out of his way to make sure the bed-extender was included. Lincoln Baboolal, the Sales Manager was very helpful and willing to do whatever he could to make the payment fit our budget. They also took care of the last 3 months of my existing Maxima lease. I was very happy with the sales process and you can feel confident that this dealership is a no pressure, high satisfaction, dealership. I highly recommend them!

I just bought my first brand new car this past weekend. I had Joseph Zappia as my Sales Rep and he was an awesome guy. I went over to Harte Nissan to look at a 2013 370Z Nismo Coup to see if it was something I liked while actually sitting in it. John Hair asked if he could help me. I told him I was actually thinking about a 2014 that was at a different dealer further away, but since Harte was close, and they had a Nismo I was wondering if I could sit in it. He was not offended, and obliged me a sit in the car.....I knew now it would be the car for me. I told him I was not fond of Red because it attracts too much attention, and I really had my heart set on a black car. He was so polite and curteous, and asked what it would take to "make me color-blind" toward the vehicle. I rattled off a lowball price, and he came back with Jeff, the sales manager. They beat my offer by $700.00! Now I knew I needed a test drive. My God! It drove & performed so nice! I told John I still needed to mull it over with my girlfriend, No problem. Also since the car was a "Demonstration Model" that had been at the local mall, there were numerous scratches. Jeff said they would be able to buff them out. When the car came back from detailing, it looked better, but hard to tell because it was very overcast. After doing the paperwork with Hashan, the finance officer, I took her home. It rained hard that night, and the next morning ALL of the scratches showed up in the bright sunlight. Danielle with customer care called to ask about my satisfaction, and I mentioned the scratches, and that I was supposed to bring the car back that day for the Simoniz Coating. John met me in the parking lot and got Jeff, who looked at the car and said he needed to get the General Manager, Damon. Damon looked at the car, came back and said it would definately need some re-spraying & body work, and that he was going to pay for it. the Simoniz coating would not go on until the paint/body work was done, and i was satisfied with it. He really put my mind at ease. I will be dropping the car off this Saturday before I head to FL for a week of training for my job. They even offered to pick me up/drop me off while the car goes in for work. I am so pleased with the professionalism exhibited by friendly staff at Harte Nissan. every one of them, especially John, my salesman were just the nicest people, very knowledgable, and NOT pushy in any way, shape, or form.

This is the second vehicle I purchased from them in the past 2 years, and both experiences were excellent. The salesman, Scott MacDonald, was professional, knowledgeable and very easy going. No pressure at all, and he made sure he knew exactly what I was looking for. He genuinely cared about what I wanted/needed in a vehicle. And in a competitive sales environment, you don't see that often. Because of his approach and manner of working with me, I was able to find the car I wanted in less than hour, and a deal was made within 2 hours. This is the type of service I value, as I'm not interested in wasting time. My experience with the finance dept was just as pleasant....which is very much appreciated as this can be a stressful and anxious experience with the wrong folks. The gentleman that helped me was Ahsan. I was very impressed with his friendly demeanor, efficiency in processing the paperwork, his clear communication of the options available to me and the terms of my loan, and his overall professionalism. It was very refreshing to be handled with the care and courtesy that Ahsan provides. Overall, I couldn't have expected a better experience in purchasing a vehicle.....and I've purchased many over the years. I would highly recommend Harte Nissan for anyone in the market for Nissan model.....as they have an extensive inventory to choose from. We came to Harte Nissan because we were interested in a hard to find used car in their inventory. We were greeted warmly on a very cold December day by salesman John Eberhart. John let us spend as much time as we wanted examining the car and even put up with a ride with the convertible top down on one of the coldest days of the year! John made an interior garage bay available for us to continue our examination of the car and when we decided to buy he made the process easy. We negotiated a trade which involved getting our trade out of winter storage and returning to complete the sale about 1 week later. John was very responsive and quick to follow up on things - he even said he would come in on his day off if we couldn't come in to close the sale on another day. The trade process was seamless, as was getting the new car insured and registered for us in Massachusetts. Although we were not in need of financing, Annie was also quite friendly and a pleasure to deal with. We left with nothing but good things to say about Harte Nissan. Well worth the drive from Massachusetts too. Very satisfied customers and I love my new convertible!

I went in to test drive a Nissan Juke, as I wanted something with all wheel drive. I did some research online, as well as asking some friends opinions of the car, before going in for the test drive. From the time I walked in the door, I felt comfortable, and at ease. The sales person, Scott MacDonald, was very knowledgeable about the car. The day I went in for the test drive, it had been snowing all day, and was still snowing, when we went out for the test drive. When we got back, I decided that I wanted to buy it. We did all the paperwork required (which was a breeze, compared to the last car I bought), then I met Anni, the finance person. I've never met anyone happier to help someone. It was with her help, that I was able to drive the car home that night. As previously stated, this dealership is outstanding. I called about a particular vehicle I had seen on your website and Spoke with Lincoln. Very knowledgeable and was a great help. Stopped by store next day and was helped first by Lincoln and then Cathy Carpino. Both were fantastic and Cathy was a huge help as was Lincoln in going through the different vehicles before making a final choice and purchase. Throughout the process, Cathy was outstanding in helping us to narrow down what was most important for my needs as this is a work vehicle. Ahsan was a great help in getting the vehicle through financing and registration as I was able to take the vehicle home that day. My experience with this dealership has been outstanding from the purchase of the first vehicle in August, taking care of issues with that vehicle and then the purchase on this vehicle. The service dept is above and beyond what you would experience at any other dealership that I've dealt with in the past. that's why it was a no-brainer when I needed to purchase a second vehicle. My experience at Harte Nissan was awesome from the moment I walked I the door. My sales rep Anna was very friendly, honest, and cooperative in working with me to get approved for a Rouge without a co-signer and all the other staff member were excellent as well. I would recommend their business if you are in need of a new or used vehicle .

I brought in my 2012 Nissan Altima for Oil and Filter service. Sylvester was very professional in explaining what work was going to be performed and some additional items which should be considered. I declined these items for the time-being, but indicated to Sylvester that I would seriously consider performing the recommended work in the near future. The work was performed quickly and neatly. The entire service team treated me very professionally and courteously. I feel that I am a valued customer of Harte Nissan and certainly will consider them for my automotive needs in the future.

I had one of my worst sale experience at Harte Nissan. Let me try to put in the chain of events that happenedI walked into the store for a Nissan Altima 2.5 SV 2013 (preowned ) . I was provided all the details and I was presented with the options for new ones by the sales executive. I told if the new cars come with certification. I was told that certification is only for used/preowned cars and New cars warranty provided all that certification provides. I came in the next day to purchase a new Nissan Alitma 2.5S .at this time we agreed on to the following 1/. NMAC financing at 2.99 APR ( given I had approval from Digital Credit Union at 2.49 APR) 2/. Out of the door price of 21,398/- ( 5,000 as Cash down cheque was given on the spot) I submitted all the documents and when I had to pick up the car ( I was provide the pickup service by Harte Nissan for delivery of my car ) , the following happened1/. I was told that NMAC has declined the 2.99 financing and has following two options a)Financing of 16,398 at 5.49APR b)Financing of 16,898 at special rate of 0.9 APR ( I will loose discount of $500 that was given to meet the competition price of 21,398. I was never told that if the financing is not approved or I opt financing from different bank then the price of the car will be different ) 2/. I was told that New cars warranty is for 3 years and I need to purchase for additional 3 years .The first three years do not have any road side assistance, rental/hotel facility as available in certification .I raised the issue with the business manager Mr Ahsaan, that these facts are not as the information provided to me and I want to raise a formal complaint for these two issues 1/. That $500 loss I have to take just because different APR is approved by NMAC 2/. That the warranty terms and condition that were stated are different from what are being given.The sales person Mr Kelvin was called and he asked me to get out and said that we dont want to sell the car. This was further escalated to Mr Steve who said that Road side assistance is provided in case of Car failures not because of driver negligence. Also while filling Incentive Claim form : I was not allowed to fill either of the two options a) Issue the cash payment to me from the dealer b) I hereby assign the cash payment to the dealer.I was told these will be taken care by the dealership backend staff. I have bought the car with these two losses because I was in urgent need of a car due to medical condition of my kid. However this experience was bitter and I am sure that I am unlikely to recommend Harte Nissan to anyone again. Thanks Rajesh

For about a year I have been looking a purchasing a Nissan Rogue and I wanted to make sure I was making the right choice. My dad and I went to Harte Nissan one Saturday just to look at the car in person, ask questions, and test drive the vehicle. The sales consultant that serviced us was amazing! He expleained to me the difference between the S and SV model. After test driving the vehicle, I was sold. My dad and I both love the SUV and we ended up purchasing it the same day. I defiantly recommend people to purcahse a nissan through Harte Nissan because everyone there is friendly and know their stuff.

Harte Nissan continues to provide consistently exceptional service for my Nissan Altima. I had to unexpectedly take a long trip with my car and called Harte to attempt to get my oil change and tire rotation done before my departure. They accommodated my request despite the late call to them and I was able to get the work done on time. Since they have multiple service staff available to handle customers when they arrive to leave their cars for service, there is rarely a wait, as was the case when I got my car serviced. The service area is very neat, clean and organized to be convenient for customers. They had my car done earlier than they promised enabling me to get on my way for my long driving trip. The check-out process was quick and painless. I would highly recommend this dealership for both sales and service.

Dealer called to confirm appointment beforehand and followed up after visit. Everything handled during visit and I left with a very clean used car that day. Took my old car as trade and made a more than reasonable offer to meet my price, willing to deal. One small issue that I'm still waiting for a resolution (1 week), but I do trust that a positive outcome will happen soon. Would recommend this dealer to others.

Unfortunately, this dealer is in a close vicinity to my job so I get an oil change there regularly. During my oil change, they normally perform a safety inspection in which they noticed a few issues in which they would not disclose but wanted me to pay a $99 fee to have my car inspected. If it's a saftey issue, I do believe that they should be advise what exactly their concerns are rather than try to have me sign a liability form. At any rate I did take my car to a licensed mechanic and I had several issues that I got fixed. Today my car goes to the shop and my service record is locked because allegedly, my fiance embarrased NIssan by telling the other cutsomers on his last visit that we didn't get good service(this never happened-I AM APPALLED). However, today they told him they could not work on my car because I did not get the safety concerns fixed. I believe they are refusing to work on my car because I refuse to have the same issue I had fixed last year fixed there again and then when I questioned them about it I was told it happens, no emapthy at all. I understand that it cost to drive a car and am willing to pay, however, I am not willing to be treated with little respect. I will never buy another Nissan, I have had minute issues but the service has been costly and this repair center has not made it any better. I understand how a business works everyone has to make money but you can not tell a customer where to spend money.

I made an appointment for an 8:30AM oil change and arrived at 8:30, someone came right out and greeted me and drove my car inside. Victor Schmidt, the Service Advisor with whom I worked, was outstanding. He set up for Nissan Rewards, explained that all to me, set me up for email reminders for service, asked me if I had had any issues so far with my Rogue or if I had any questions, then escorted me to the lounge. The lounge was very clean and comfortable, with good coffee and CNN! Excellent! The price was about half of what I pay at the express oil change near my house. The only thing I will keep in mind for future is that it did take an hour, there were many other customers there at the same time - so I will either try to schedule for first appointment or just plan an hour into my day to be there. Victor Schmidt was outstanding.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Harte Nissan. The service advisor, Sylvester was extremely helpful and friendly. I dropped my car off for a factory recall and needed a ride to downtown Hartford. I did not have to wait long before being dropped off and picked up, Sylvester made sure of that. The drivers who brought me to my destination were very friendly and was easy to talk to. Before the mandatory recall work was begun, Sylvester contacted me to let me know there were a few issues with my vehicle. He also advised me as to which issues needed to be fixed soon. He was never pushy about getting the work completed. He was very accommodating when I called him the next day to get the repair done. I would definitely use Harte Nissan again.

I know this visit was going to be an expensive one with new tires and potentially new rear breaks (pointed out during last visit). Enen though the bill was close to $2,000, I felt comfortable that the work being performed was needed and would be done right. Sylvester walked me through the things that were urgent and should be done this visit, and items that I could put off for a little bit. Most places tell you that everything should be done ASAP even if that's not the case. Was very please overall with the work done and I haven't noted any mysterious noises or issues with the work that was performed. Thanks.

Went in b/c tire was leaking nitrogen 2 days after being filled. Spent an hour with 2 children waiting to find out that the tire sensor was leaking and was not going to be covered under the extended warranty. Left unhappy and unfixed. Called Nissan Corporate as suggested by the dealership to argue why it was not under the warranty. Nissan corporate opened a case, but that was the only communication we had with them as they would not return our calls to find out the resolution to their investigation. 3 weeks later and many times putting air in the tire due to its still leaking, Harte calls to see if we are going to do some recommended service. Of course, told them we were still dealing with the tire issue. They sent the call to a manager who also could not get Nissan corporate to answer him, so Harte themselves finally decided to cover the repair themselves. Brought the car in the following day. After waiting another hour and 10 minutes (with 2 kids again) they were done with the repair. I get 20 minutes from the dealership only to have the tire light start blinking and come on steady again! I turn around and go back to the dealership enraged that it was not fixed. 20 minutes later I find out that the techs couldn't be bothered with resetting the sensor and that is why the light came on. Home again I go only to find that they never balanced the tire either! The techs really do not care about the customer or the service they are giving. They certainly are not promoting the type of service the the upfront people are portraying.

Horrible customer service. I waited for 15 minutes at the service desk while one advisor fixed a printer and 2 others searched for customer keys, one sat at his desk and a worker wanted to take my car as he thought it was a loaner. I finally reached out to another advisor sitting at his empty desk and asked if I was in the right spot for an oil change. I was then told it would be 2 hours for and oil change and I should make an appointment or come back at another time. They had no problem letting me sit there for 15 minutes. It was obvious they did not care about me or the oil change. This was not a customer friendly environment. It is also not reflective of Nissan Customer Service as I went to another dealer and was treated with respect and the oil change was done w/n 20 minutes of arrival.

I brought my car into Nissan because 6 of my dashboard lights suddenly turned on (BRAKE, ABS, Tire Pressure, Service Engine Soon, AWD, Anti-swerve brake). I was informed after it was there for 3 days that the car needed ALL new brake pad and roters as well as 4 fluids replaced. My car had less than 30,000 miles and is a 2011. The car also had a wheel-speed sensor that wasn't working (under warranty). I thought that was quite a coincidence that all of that could have gone wrong at once. So I took the car for another opinion. The mechanic said the brakes were definitely fine and there was no reason to replace all of those fluids at once. Imagine my confusion now. Meanwhile, I was working with Tom from service. He could not seem to explain why all of this happened at once but was insistent that I should spend the money for top quality replacements right away. The conversations were abrupt and I had to pry for answers to questions.Finally, after 10 days I called Nissan back and the part had come in that I was waiting for. I did not get a call from them right away, but had to call myself. I brought my car in that evening.Luckily, I was then turned over to Phil Whiteway. Things started to turn around.He was very friendly and explained each detail. I really appreciated his explanation and attitude, great customer service.I was at the dealership for 2 hours that evening, but was kept informed the entire time. Eventually, they found that there was another communication problem (also under warranty). They promptly provided me with alternate transportation.The car was returned in full working condition after the warranty fixes. No brakes or fluids needed - contrary to what I was told at the beginning.So overall, the issues were resolved and I thought the dealership as a whole did a good job. I would highly recommend bringing the car in later in the day so that Phil or other members of the night crew are working. They were excellent!

My Nissan Murano just cut off for no apprant reason while driving the vehicle. I contacted Sylvester and he told me to bring it in. The problem was one of the sensor and they took care of it for me within that day and got my car right back to me. I like the fast and good service. Over the past 9 years, my wife and I have purchased 2 New Altimas and Leased 1 Altima from another local Nissan Dealer. As our family grows it was time to upgrade to a larger vehicle, and the Pathfinder fit our needs. We stopped in at Harte on our way through Hartford one afternoon with the sole intention of just getting some price information and probably going back to the dealership we had previously used. But that is when we met one of the best Salesmen that I have ever dealt with, in any industry, Ben. From the moment we walked in, to the delivery of our new Pathfinder, Ben never stopped exceeding expectations. At points, he was literally running around trying to make the process quicker, which was greatly appreciated since we had our 6 month old daughter with us. Friendly, outgoing & personable, Ben was the sole reason that we ended up purchasing our new Pathfinder from a Harte Nissan. We also spoke with Lincoln and Steve during our initial visit and worked with Lincoln again on delivery. Each of these gentlemen was also exceptional. The culture of customer appreciation that Harte has created is next to none in the car dealership world. I would strongly recommend this dealership to anyone and make sure you stop in to see Ben.

I travel all the way from Washington D.C. to continue my relationship with Harte Nissan, I am now on my 4th purchase with them and each time I am amazed even more by the level of service I receive. The car buying process can be unethical and frustrating at times when wanting to get what you want for the price you want to pay. The person that helped me (Phillip) was very polite and informative. While typing in the pertinent information, he talked to me about many features on my car that I was not yet aware of. When the work was completed, he met me in the waiting room and reviewed what the vehicle inspection sheet stated. When I left, there was a thank you note on my dashboard - a nice touch. Oh, by the way, my first four service visits are complimentary. Overall, I was very pleased.

Hello, This is a follow up on my service. My car was dropped off on 5/07/13 to repair a catalyac converter. My sales person Sylvester took care of me. In good faith Nissan corporation paid for my parts for this job and I had to pay for the labor so it all worked out well. I really appreciate what nissan has done for me and I look forward to servcing with them in the future. My GTR was due for its 12 month service including engine oil & filter, turbo balancing, etc.Immediately upon arriving at Harte, I was greeted by several service personnel all of whom treated me as though I was a family member. I am not exaggerating. Very soon I was offered my choice of using a new Maxima, or a ride to my parents home in nearby Windsor, or just hang around. So I chose to borrow the Maxima and left for my parents home.When I was notified that my GTR was ready, I went back and found my car not only ready from the service but also cleaned in and out. I was a happy person. I was very impressed with the fair price for the oil and filter which were the only cost to me for the service which did include much more in terms of labor.Cleanliness everywhere at Harte was also evident.I would definitely recommend Harte Nissan to anyone.My rating here has been honest and not exaggerated.Regards - Bob Allevo

I came for an oil change about a couple of weeks ago on a Friday morning. It was brought to my attention that I had several things that needed to be done. Most of what needed to be done was covered under warrently. I eft my car with Nissan on a Saturday and they had to order the parts for next week. On Monday I was told by Slyvester that they did a service job and found that my catayalic converted needed to be done. He expalin to me that I have 2 parts to the converted and the part that needed fix the warrently is up to 80,000 miles and my car has 97,000 miles and this service was a $1800 job. I was very upset due to not only I ahve warrently but purchase extended warrently and I thought it will be covered from that. He gave me the number to the corporation to call to see if can get this done through the "good faith". I spoke to a lady in customer service and explain my situation.She expalin tto me that this is covered under my extended warrently but I let her know what the dealership said and why this was not covered but she insist that it was covered under my warrently and to call the dealership back to take care of this. I called Slyvester to let him know what she said and I gave him a reference #. He contacted nissian for me but spoke to someone else and suggest that they take a look at this situation to see what can be done for me. William from nissan corporation got in touch with me to review the situation. He explain to me what was going on and sorry I was given false information by one of the customer service rep. He stated he will review it and call me in a couple of days. He called me back but I missed his called and we played phone tag for a couple of days not reaching each other. I finally contacted Nissan and spoke with Slyvester and he let me know through Damion the manager that he has good news. Nissan will coveed the parts and I have to pay for the labor. I was please about the response and I thank Slyvster for all the hard work he has done for me along with Damion.

My girlfriend was looking for a new SUV/Crossover that wasnt going to break the bank. I did some research and discovered that the Nissan Rogue maybe fitting for what my girlfriend was looking for. I talked with a few friends who had bought Nissan's from Harte and asked who I should deal with. People told me about a guy by the name of Michael Veprinsky. By far the best salesman I ever dealt with. Very layed back, none pressuring, and helped figure out my girlfriends needs so that we picked out the right car for her. I appreciate all that Mike did for my girlfriend, and I will continue to recommend every body in the market for a Nissan to visit Mike at Harte Nissan.

I called to make an appointment to test drive a car, to make sure that the car was available before I went over. When I arrived 15 minutes later (literally!), I was told that it was just sold, was there anything else I'd like to see. If they had asked me this on the phone, I wouldn't have felt baited. I do not recommend them.

Harte Nissan is the only dealership I will ever go to because all of the staff, expecially Babak, are very friendly and knowledgeable and will try their hardest to get you into a vehicle within your price range. I can't say anything negative about my experience with buying a car from here. Babak is one of the nicest people to talk to and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable with my purchase and offered me a drink or food while I was waiting. The financing manager was extremely friendly as well. This is why I give all 5's for my rating.

I went in there to have my other Nissan serviced and was having such a bad experience with the service dept, Angel noticed I was upset and asked me what the problem was. After explaining it to him I said joking around cant I just trade in the car I have for a new one, I had just purchased that one a year prior and it was giving me a few problems anyways he said let me see what I can do. He came back a few minutes later and told me I could get a 2012 Nissan and I was so excited. He took me outside to the row of new cars and said pick the one you want. I was so excited I forgot all about my bad experience with the service dept..I am now the proud owner of a White 2012 Nissn Altima..Thanks to Angel and his great customer service...

I was in the market for 2 cars. I was thinking an Altima and a Ford Focus. My daughter had bought a Sentra from Michael at Harte, I was impressed with the way he presented the information, up front with the pricing etc. He was not pushy,but very thorough with the info we needed. When it was our turn to buy we went back to Harte and again dealt with Michael. Again he was excellent to deal with. I tried to buy a Focus at a local Ford dealer, but could not seem to get a real price, just a lot of abouts. Nothing in writing, never got a call back when I told the salesman at monaco exaxctly what I wanted. So I bought the Altima and the Sentra from Michael at Harte, and am very happy I did.

After my internet inquiry, Honey was diligent but not pushy in her phone calls and e-mails. I made an appointment with Jason and he was ready and waiting for us when we got there. He has such a way about him that makes you feel comfortable and not like you're going to get raked over the coals. He actually said he "was there to help me buy a car not to sell me one" I think that is a great attitude, we do need help navigating thru these processes and he was right there spot on. Can't thank him enough for all his help, what a nice person, truly.

I had an excellent experience with Harte Nissan. I was in the market for a new car, and was interested in purchasing an Altima. I made an online request for a quote, and they responded within hours. The initial quote was appealing right from the beginning. Soon after, a sales agent contacted me about the quote. The sale agent I worked with was Jason Elhage. I the following day, I visited the dealership and discussed my interests with Jason. He was very professional, friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and most importantly, not pushy in any way. He was able to secure the exact car I wanted, even though it wasn't on his lot at the time, and even improved upon the quoted price I received online. Basically, I got a better value by getting more options in the car for a lower price. There wa no haggling or negotiating. They came out with a great price that made me feel very comfortable with the terms of the agreement. When I picked up the car, everything was as I wanted it to be. The entire process went very smoothly, and I left the dealership in my new car extremely pleased with the whole experience. I highly recommend purchasing any vehicle from Harte Nissan.

Not honest in there dealings. Knowingly sold me a car with a $700 problem and then refused to rectify the issue, dispite knowing the car was sold only three weeks prior. A executive manager was supposed to contact me. But never did. Very nice way to treat a returning customer, who recommened two other customers to their establishment. I am a very unsatisfied customer.

After we had decided what vehicle we wanted to buy we were dissapointed when LIA Nissan could not match our requirements as far as interest rate price etc for the vehicle we wanted. Just to say we did due diligance we called Harte Nissan to ask if they would be able to do any better. They got us a lower interest rate, had the vehicle we wanted in the color we wanted on hand and we were driving off the lot two days later.They thouroughly explained every detail of the car and helped setup the bluetooth and other features on the lot before we left.Very happy with the service and our salesman Babak, who was very friendly and not at all pushy as we expected from our visit with LIA. Although it may be a few more minutes drive, Harte is now our Nissan dealer of choice.

Agent Babak grossly and deliberately misreprented the facts in order to rope me into a deal where I will be paying much more than than the advertised deal. Facts are as below, I expect Nissan to rectify this and amend my lease to the deal that was offered to me on Internet enquiry.In response to my internet enquiry, on 10/27/2011 someone named Alisha from Nissan offered Me a deal of 79$ (2999 down) OR 179 (0 down) for 24 months . She asked me to contact Harte Nissan (hartford,ct) for further processing. When I went to this dealer I was told by the sales agent Babak Pazoki that there is no such deal and there is some misunderstanding at my end. I called Alisha again ,to confirm this deal, and tell Babak about it .Even after speaking with Alisha, Babak insisted there is some error at Alisha's end and he is pretty sure ,there is no such deal. Best he can give me is 179(2999$ down) or 260$ ( 0 down) for 39 months. So, I went for 260$ (for 39 months), Paid 10$ extra because of 450$ blue tooth package and another 10$ because I am not tier4. I will end up paying 3900$ more than what i should have paid as per internet special lease offer on (2012 Nissan Altima 2.5S)that I got in response to my enquiry online on Nissan's website.On 11/4/2011, again I saw this internet special of 79$ (with 2999$ down for 24 months)on website of Quirk Nissan (Quincy MA), thats when I realized it actually WAS a deal, if I would have enquired further about this online special lease offer, instead of believing the sales agent I could have saved around 3000$ on this lease. After emailing evidence of this deal to the sales agent ,to prove that deal that he said is in error was actually internet special lease price offered by Nissan, I was told since I am under contract with them (on higher lease ) nothing can be done.

I have to say that working with Trai was most enjoyable. I felt a great deal of honesty and trust coming from him. I don't purchase new cars very often, but Trai made this experience almost fun. I felt I received a somewhat reasonable deal on the trade in of my two vehicles towards the purchase of a new Altima. I know I could have received more for them if I sold them myself, however, taking into account my time and effort to do so out weighed the difference.

I had an absolutely horrible experience 3 years ago with this dealership. I was hell bent on turning in my lease and walking away from Harte Nissan completely. They finally were able to convince me that they fired the rotten, lying finance person. On top of that, Harte Nissan has made up for his sins. I am so totally pleased with the NEW management and the new people at Harte Nissan. I would totally recommend them to a friend.

My recent Nissan truck purchase was one of the best experiences I have had buying a new vehicle. The sales consultant, Mr. Babak Pazoki, was very courteous and made sure to explain everything to me. All the other employees and managers who I met were also very pleasant and helpful. I was also impressed with the organized process they had in place that moved everything perfectly to limit the amount of time I had to spend there. While the paperwork was being processed, for example, the truck was being detailed. By the time I had completed a helpful tour of the nice, clean facility, including the service department, my car was ready and the detail it was given was amazing! Nothing had been missed. I was completely satisfied and my expectations were greatly exceeded with everything that had to do with the purchase of my new Frontier at Harte Nissan. It was tops, and I would definitely recommend it, and the salesman, Mr. Pazoki, to everyone I know who is looking to buy a vehicle. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

We went looking for a new vehicle to replace our 2001 van and had checked out several dealerships in the area. We ended back at Harte Nissan because of the low pressure and friendly atmosphere. We were looking at the Rogue and and were very impressed with all we were able to get for the price when compared to the other vehicles we had looked at. Lincoln went out of his way to find any discounts that would apply and gave us a very fair trade-in price for our van. Given our recent experience I would definitely recommend Harte Nissan. In fact, we will be going back to look at another lease in the near future.

Last week I did check my car fax report and got to know about an past accident involving my car. I am talking to my dealers but there is not much help from them. I just began a new lease with Harte and I totally disagree with most other reviewers on here. I called before I came in and had multiple lengthy conversations with Bruce, one of the managers. He was courteous, straightforward and helpful. I spoke with MANY other dealerships and got the best price from Harte. By the time I went into the store, my decision to work with them had been made. I simply gave them my "deal number" and we began the financing work. The salesman I had briefly spoken with before talking to Bruce over the phone needed to be out of the store when I arrived, so the internet manager, Trae (who wasn't even actually working) helped with all the details. It was an overall great experience.

I am in the process of buying a new Altima. I have been to five dealerships in the state, and my question to each of them was very simple. I gave them the details of the exact car I wanted. I wanted an out-the-door price and a monthly lease price. Four dealerships treated me with respect and happily gave me the information (Wilson, County Line, Crowley, and Middletown). I went to Harte and the salesman who greeted me acted as if he would rather be doing something else than selling me a car (probably wanted to eat lunch as it was near noon). He proceeded to walk out back (on the snowiest day of the winter) and brush off with his bare hands the windows on about 30 (not an exaggeration) Altimas on the lot. After standing in the snow watching him I asked him couldn't he just look on a computer for the car - he grumbled something and we walked back inside. He then introduced me to another salesman - so I had to start all over again. After explaining to him that I wanted the two prices (purchase and lease) and that I had already been to three other dealerships, he said to me "what are you trying to achieve - what do you want to pay per month". I said "look, I already explained what I am trying to achieve is to purchase or lease an Altima and I want prices to compare to other dealerships". He looked at me and said "I can't help you if you don't tell me what you want to achieve". Are there people who really fall for that? How come four other dealerships understood where I was coming from, and with a smile on their faces and acting very courteously, gave me the information I asked for.I stood up and told him "you don't want to sell cars, you want to play games" and I walked out (to the echo of that same sales person yelling out through the sales floor "he wants to play games"). No sir, I don't, that is why I left. I drove straight to Middletown Nissan and bought my Altimia. They want to sell cars!

I will NEVER buy from this dealer. First, the salesperson called me every week for a month to ask if I had made a decision when I thought I made it perfectly clear that I was a way off from buying and I wasjust weighing my optiions. He also knew very little about the car, he had to "check to see" on all the questions that I asked. When I bought the car Jarell, the salesperson, assured me that there were three cars available and I would have it by the end of the week. I never heard from anyone (after countless phone calls) until I got through to Chris Bombara, the sales manager, on Thursday (I bought the car on Sunday). he told me that the car was hard to find and that I should consider another color or upgrade to the premium package. I called him three more times that day and got the same answer. I called again the next morning and told him I wanted my down payment back - $5500! He said he could not give it back to me until Monday and even then it could be over ruled by the GM. He said generally it is Non refundable but I put down a DOWN PAYMENT not a DEPOSIT! Chris is a condescending rude jerk and I have never been treated in that way before from someone I was doing business with. Especially someone who I just bought a $24,000 car from! I went the whole weekend steaming mad and come to find out he credited me my money after I left the dealership on Friday without telling me. When I took the high road on Monday morning to call to thank him for doing that was still rude and said, "Just to pour salt in your wounds, I found a car for you this morning!" Who would say that! Little did he know I already had another car lined up from another dealership who were fantastic! Never will I ever go to any harte dealer again! Worst first cr buying experience ever!

I just bought a NEW CAR from HARTE NISSAN OF HARTFORD (WORST MISTAKE EVER). Where should I start customer service? Two of the Managers are the worst people I ever dealt with. One of them treated me like dirt, and insulted me when I was buying the vehicle he thought I couldnt afford it. Any how I bought the car because the sale person was caring, and I thought the car was cute, but two weeks into my new car I called the other manager to make a complaint about the key, plus car issues with the warning dash lights turning on, the mile meter going way too fast, Chris hanged up on me, and he was in no way nice, knowing I JUST BOUGHT THEIR CAR. So I called back and he made it rudely clear that I am trapped, and there is no return policy(this is one week into the car), and click he did it again. I realized this was the Biggest mistake I have ever made was to go to HARTE NISSAN AND DRIVE OFF WITH THAT CAR. I should have picked the HONDA (treated like a queen, and their vehicle talk for itself). I Like my car but it has a lot of issues for being a new car. I feel terrible knowing that I am stuck. My family and friends is in disbelief knowing I am in this state with a new car. I have realized the hard way it is better to pay more else where and sleep secure at night, than to wake up in a intimidating commitment with rude, inconsiderate, and money famished people. This is my experience at Nissan Harte Of Hartford in 2008!!

The Service person I deal with on a regular basis is very accommodating and seems to have my best interest involved. I am still an under warranty customer currently, hopefully that great service I receive won't change once I am no longer covered. Pricing will be a concern of mine, once I am no longer covered. Harte Nissan sales personnel are very friendly, especially Raoul. I had a great time buying the car at Harte. The experience was great because the sale person is willing to work with me on price. Nontheless, i would not shop at Harte Nissan again. The financial person was great, but i felt as if i'm paying too much for the SUV. The interest rate was a bit high (>8%) and i was not told that i have to buy an extended warranty until the day of signing the papers work. I bought the 2005 Pathfinder XE (base model) for $25,700 and $6,000 down payment. Out the door price was well over $33,000 and 6 Years financing. Although i'm happy with the SUV but i would never shop at this place again. The financial guy ripped me off. I s hould blame myself for letting them ripping me off because i wanted the car so bad. If anyone intend to buy a car from HARTE NISSAN, please make sure that you have all your finance ready and get the exact price. Else you ended up paying a lot more because these financial people are dishonest. I was promised of getting 5.9 % but ended up paying over 8%. Yet alone, the finance term was increase for 60 months to 72. Actually, the car is for my parents and not for me. But they're okayed with it. <br><br>Problems i had with this the 2005 Pathfinder are as follows:<br>(1) First day of receiving the car i notice the steering wheel vibrates badly on the highway doing over 65 MPH. <br>(2) A week later, when i drove the car in the morning i heard a pretty bad squeaking sound from the brakes. <br>(3) Engine surges once a while and never was duplicated at the dealer when brough it in.<br>(4) Driver's seat fabric inseam have gaps and are not fitted correctly.<br>(5) Dash board/Console area below windshield have gaps with foam showing.<br><br>Problem #1 was fixed after Nissan balanced four tires. THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD HAPPEN FOR A BRAND NEW SUV. Don't trust the 100 points inspection check. Problem # 2 was never resolved and i get this horrible sound in the morning when applying the brakes. <br><br>With all my problems, i like driving this truck one a while. It's a bit pricey though because the dealer ripped me off. Overall, the quality of the truck was not that great. I guess because it was manufactured in the US. <br><br>I have reported all my problems with JDPOWER. HOpefully they're get it fix. As for the engine surges, the dealer could not duplicate it. <br><br>My parents wants a reliable SUV so i bought them the Pathfinder. I just hope that it holds up. As for me, next time i will buy the 2005 Jeep Grande Cherokee. Oh, i can't wait to report these problems to Nissan once they send me the survey.

I recently found a car listed in cars.com website and were hoping to buy the car listed for the price shown. We printed the ad as it was suggest to lock in the price and took it to the car dealer (Harte Suzuki & Harte Used Car Authority) and spoke to the Manager Mr. Phill Wallace. To our disappointment they did not honor the add or the price listed in your website that we printed out. They increase the price from $14,995 to 16,000 on the vehicle. Needless to say it was a waste of our time and energy we could not reach a deal because they would not lower the price to what was listed on the website. <br><br>Sent an e-mail to Chris Arena the website specialist at Harte Nissan the main office and he straighten out this whole problem and we got the car for the price listed in the internet. Was very professional and courteous to us. <br>
