We had 3 places to go when we were looking , Harvard Ford was first on the list & we didint leave untill the deal was done. Salesman Bob and Financier Drillan were both a pleasure to work with and every concern we had was addressed . Harvard Ford has shown me their dedication to the customer. That is one of the reasons my family has purchased 2 cars from them over the last few years. The buying process was simple with no drama. Made me feel like I was working with family. My credit was not the best but they went out of their was to find a funding solution I could afford. The Service department is top notch. We came in to purchase a used Ford 150. We had a salesman named Jaime who was outstanding and a pleasure to deal with. We test drove a truck and were ready to purchase it. He asked a lot of questions like monthly income which is a question that the finance people should have asked but we were not going to be financing the truck. We had two cars to trade in and Jaime collected all the paperwork and told us the manager will do the number crunching. The manager came back with an insulting trade in value as well no movement on the list price. We told them what we wanted and said we would walk out with the truck and they did not even budge off of the list price and was way below the NADA price for trade ins. We told Jaime that those numbers would not work. He went to his manager and after a bit the manager came out and gave us the company line that our trade ins had to go to auction and no excuse for why there was no movement in the list price. He further insulted us by saying if we weren't financing it we absolutely had more money to put towards the truck. I have never been so disrespected by anyone like that. The manager lost the sale for Jaime and we are sorry for that. We left not making a deal. The manager said we could not get what we were looking for for that price. He was wrong. We went to Brillance Subaru and had an amazing experience and bought a newer truck with less miles and a cheaper price and twice the amount of our trade ins. I think this dealership needs to check out how a dealership should be run. Jaime was great and he would have had a deal if it weren't for his manager. I would never recommend this dealership. Very poor experience.

Gene in service is the best. GOT ME IN FOR SERVICE on my time schedule. The mechanic found the part that was leaking. He ordered it had it in the next day. When I returned to have the part installed it took less than an hour as promised. I WAITED visiting with a man an his Springer Spainel in the waiting room. Before I knew the truck was done.

Since 1992, I have only driven Fords, and I have purchased every one of them up in Harvard.One of my daughters has also purchased vehicles from Harvard Ford. Combined, we have purchased eight vehicles in twenty-three years. Although I live in Crystal Lake, it is more than worth it to make the drive to Harvard. The service is excellent and the price is fair. I have put over 100,000 miles on four of the five vehicles, and the fifth (my Fiesta) is rapidly approaching 50,000 miles. Between him and his sales manager they managed to find all available rebates for us and the best financing. After taking ownership our sales person made it a priority to help us learn the features on the vehicle which was an immense help seeing of all the new technical features the new cars come with. I was welcomed promptly by the service manager. After a reasonable wait, my oil change was completed. Upon receiving my keys, I was advised that brakes and wipers should be replaced at the next oil change. That lets me plan ahead financially for that visit. As usual, Angelo is courteous and attentive. Never acts as if any question is a waste of his time, or dumb. Service is done in a very timely manner, and I never feel as if I've been pushed towards services or products I don't need. Oh, but I wish they had decaf coffee!! or some caffeine free pop in the waiting area.We also own two trucks 2008 F250 and 2012 F150 and the service on those is also impeccable. I really enjoy the team at Harvard Ford and although we love our trucks, I just wish I were happier with my 2011 Edge. My next car will probably cause me to have to use another maker's service center, because it won't be a Ford. :(

Gene Very helpful. Had the oil changed and tires rotated for fifty four dollars. Mechanic found a rattle that was driving me nuts and fixed it under warranty.Murphys law came into play. When I returned home there was a flyer from Harvard Ford offering a oil change and tire rotation for thirty nine dollars.

I was at the Dealership with a Friend that I recommended to look at and purchase a F-150 from Bruce Coleman. I was due for service on my 2011 Ranger 4x4 and decided to have it serviced unannounced if possible. The Service Dept. had some extra time and took me in right away. Excellent job, as usual! Harvard Ford continues to help me get to my goal of 200,000 miles on the Focus I bought new there (I'm at 162,000 miles now).One suggestion: with all the winter salt and crud, I would be interested if you offered a car wash (and deep cleaning / detailing) to be done while I had my car in for service. I'd probably pay up to $30 to $50 for a good cleaning and vacuuming...

I really appreciate that the technicians were willing to help me immediately and at a time that wasn't inconvenient for me. It was to my understanding that one of the technicians came in early specifically to help me out with my clutch replacement. The car drives excellently now. I came into Harvard Ford recently for my regular oil change. While getting checked in, I mentioned to the Service Department Manager that I was experiencing some "hard shifting", and I asked if he could take a look. After completing my oil change, he came over and mentioned that I needed some parts to repair the issue. And, he told me he had already ordered them. Then, he told me that he would call me later to schedule a time to get my car into the shop for repairs. A few days later, I received the call, scheduled an appointment, and then took my car into the shop. I was provided a courtesy car to use during the repair work. Once the work was completed, I received a call, and I came to pick the car up. The car is now driving great! The issue with the "hard shifting" has been resolved. And, I'm very satisfied with the results.

I brought the vehicle in for a recall regarding the reflashing of the computer, it took longer that anticipated due to the programer not working properly. This was explained to me why it took longer than the norm. When given a choice of the local dealer and Harvard Ford I will lean to take the drive to Harvard.

Appointment times were convenient. "The Works" identified a problem still under warranty. The part was promptly ordered, the appointment was scheduled, and the problem was repaired within the same week. The only part of this experience that I would change, was having a loaner vehicle available that I could use while my car was in the shop.

As you walk into the glistening service area you are immediately aware of the ambiance of professionalism like a neon light blazing on the strip of Las Vegas proclaiming - WE WILL FIX YOUR VEHICLE THE RIGHT WAY. Then you are greeted by Angelo who extends his hand as if to say - rest assured you have nothing to worry about. He patiently listens to me explain the problem and endures my amateurish attempt to diagnose the issue. He takes pen to paper as if to provide me with a sense of collaboration as he documents the symptoms and then inquires on my preference of enjoying the warm and inviting environs of the showroom or would I prefer to be chauffered home - I select the latter. Three hours passed and I recognize the number on the caller id - I pick up the phone and like the phoenix, my vehicle has risen from the clutches of disrepair to run like a mighty metal steed and I am happy.

I scheduled an oil change and was able to get the vehicle in on time with no wait and the work was done quickly. I had also asked if a car wash was available and was told that hand washing was all that was available. I did not expect it washed but they did, a nice surprise!

We had an unexpected need for maintenance, (dead battery) and the service department was great at getting us in right away to take care of everything. The maintenenance took the amount of time they projected, and within an hour all was set to go. Great service!

I bought a 2002 Chevy Avalanche the staff was very friendly and helpful. I bought a vehicle that they just received. I told them i wanted to buy it they had it in the shop to get inspected right away. It needed a little work so they fixed it. I live 2 1/2 hours away from the dealership. So when it was finished they delivered it to another dealer so i didn't have to drive all the way back down to pick it up. Excellent service

When bringing in my Fusion Hybrid for a routine oil change, Gene asked me if I smelled antifreeze. I was not having any problem I was aware of; I had just cleaned the car inside and out, and had sprayed some Armor All on the dashboard. I said that was the smell. He said he would have it checked out anyway, and found a leaking heater core. This was not only repaired under warranty, but Harvard Ford also let us have a loaner car.What terrific care and concern, saving me many $$$$ on an unanticipated problem. Thanks to all.

My car was acting up, not wanting to start. When it finally did start, the check engine came on. I drove it straight to Harvard Ford's Service area. I told Angelo how my car was acting and Angelo's crew checked it over while I sat in the waiting area. Within an hour, Angelo told me what the problem was, what needed to be done, how long it would take and how much it would cost. A hour & half later, I was back on the road driving my repaired car.

Buying my new Ford Focus was a far more pleasant experience than I had expected. I got a lot of information from the internet chat ability with Debbie. I knew what vehicles were available currently and also that I could locate something else if I needed to. When I came in and worked with Dave, he was very well informed about the model that I was interested in. I was able to take the vehicle home overnight to both drive and share with my husband. We decided to buy it and it was a quick, clear transaction. I found the staff at Harvard Ford helpful, direct, and easy to work with.

I was told at another dealer/service shop that the noise was due to tires being worn; however, I was leery of that explanation (even though the tires would soon need to be replaced) and took our Cobalt somewhere else for substantial savings on the tires and still experienced the same noise. So, having received confirmation that the tires were not the issue, I brought our vehicle to Harvard Ford who diagnosed the problem as a bad wheel bearing in the front end. They replaced the bearing and now all is well.Service was performed promptly.Thank you Harvard Ford.

My sales person was happy to just let me take my time test driving all of them and I appreciate that she didn't "rush us along" the process. We brought our F250 in for an oil change. The service was done quickly and the truck was ready when promised.Our 2013 Ford Focus has a recall on it, so when we picked up the truck we dropped off the Focus for an inspection.It was determined that we needed to have a service on the Focus, so that was scheduled when we picked it up.Harvard is always helpful, attentive, friendly, and they treat their customers well.Whether it's the service department (Angelo and Gene are great!) or the person in the billing department who is always smiling and friendly, or Sean who always makes a point of stopping and saying hello, or Chris our salesman who takes great care of us.That's why we continue to service our vehicles and BUY our vehicles and recommend Harvard Ford to our friends.

Car was delivered and was found to have a strong odor of smoke from preveous owner.Our salesman (Bruce) assured everything would be addressed by their service deptment at no cost to us . The service department and sale department worked together to correct the odor problem and to answer the questions I had about the car. They are very helpful, transporting me to work when I drop car and getting it back to me in a timely manner. And they remember who I am when I walk in. NICE! I actually told a Harvard friend who for some reason dropped her car in Woodstock for work that this Harvard facility was really good and so much closer to her home.

I had an appointment at 10:30 am. My vehicle was in the shop right away, the tech did all the requested work, plus a check of the vehicle and I was on my way in an hour( it would have been sooner but a storm interupted power for a few seconds causing computers to go out).

I am so impressed by the service I have received here. I have always gotten great service here. The evening before a vacation my hatch wouldn't open. I headed over there with no appointment & got helped immediately. They tried to fix it but found it was a faulty latch. They got a new one in first thing in the morning and got my car fixed right away. Our trip was only delayed by a couple of hours.

Garbage, sold me a pos, test drove the car , I noticed the headlight was out, asked Angelo please replace the bulb, go in to do paper work, come out Angelo says the headlight is fine, i looked at it, it worked at the time, some weeks later the light acted on its own by sometimes working and sometimes not, connector is bad, oh and ford does not sell that specific part you have to get the whole 700 dollar harness to rewire the whole front end which is absurd. Not having a working headlight is a SAFETY Issue, so in other words they sold me a vehicle with a safety issue. I do not recommend this dealer.

I purchased a brand new F150 in September. It really was a pleasure doing business, from the owner to the guy that cleaned my car. Everyone was very excited and happy for me. Talk about making the car buying experience fun and easy.

took my truck in for a no start problem they told me my ficm was bad. charged me 3900 for new ficm, drove truck 3 miles down the raod and truck would not start again. found out it was a bad a/c commpressor the whole time charged me another 3300
