Our diesel truck broke down on the interstate and we were towed to Hawkins in Fairmont. We experienced great customer care from Jerry Bulfer, Josh Walker to the mechanics who greatly enjoyed the mechanical puzzle of our truck. Jerry kept us informed of the progress and problems of our truck while we waited for parts. The use of a loaner vehicle was a life saver-thanks again! In retrospect we felt lucky to break down and be near Fairmont with our diesel truck. We sure appreciate the service and parts department customer service care we received.In addition we purchased a certified diesel truck from Troy Sunken. Thanks Troy for your extra effort in dealing with our trade in and purchase of our used truck as we were from out of state! We again felt that we were well taken care of by Troy Sunken. Hawkins was wonderful! I was ready to give up on getting a new vehicle, but the staff at Hawkins was amazing. Jesse Walters was able to answer most of my questions, and was gracious about doing so, even though I'd come in and asked to see Troy Sunken. I had an idea of what I wanted, and the sales staff helped me find the best car for our families needs, at a price that was best suited for us.Troy went over all the aspects of my new car with me. He took the time to hep me get my Onstar set up and download the onstar app onto my phone, above and beyond. No matter the department the staff at Hawkins has never made me feel like "just a silly girl, with minimal car knowledge".

Searched on line through many dealerships. Found a Chevrolet Cruze and a Malibu at Hawkins In Fairmont. I sent a email at 4;00 pm on a Saturday afternoon. In 5 minutes I received a email back from Jesse Walters a salesman at Hawkins. He provided information on the vehicles and his contact information. We made a appointment to look at the Cruze and Malibu the following Monday night. We were shown both vehicles and decided on the Malibu. It was great because we had no pressure. I stopped in to just look at a 2010 Equinox that I had seen on Hawkins website. I was very impressed when I saw it in person. Troy Sunken gladly showed me the vehicle and suggested a test drive. During the test drive he explained the various features and controls. I was impressed with the test drive and decided to talk trade in details. He let me make the decision to purchase the vehicle. Tabitha Bicknase had paperwork ready the next day and explained everything very well. Having dealt with Hawkins in the past I expected no less and was not disappointed. Chris was very knowledgeable about the pickup truck i was interested in, he was able to answer all of my questions, and was very friendly. The pickup was exactly as described on the phone earlier in the process. Went to look at a car here twice and both times the car was out because an employee was using it. If you are letting your employees drive the car that's fine but then don't show it as for sail. Wasted part of my day just to not even see the car. Waste of time and terrible service. Also heard the sales people are treated better then the mechanics. Any negativity is bad news. Plus the facility is extremely outdated. Can't believe Chevy allows such a dealer to still service and sell cars. Would suggest looking else where for your car needs.

About 2 months ago, I decided that it was time for me to upgrade my ride and officially get the vehicle I have had my eyes on for 5+ years. I did some shopping on-line to get a feel for the market and allow myself time to truly compile a list of what I really wanted before reaching out to a local business. When I called Chris Finck to see if he would be willing to help me, he was enthusiastic right from the start. I have a very hectic schedule to work around but Chris made it work, with no added stress. He wasted no time getting to work, and within a very short time (less than 2 weeks!!!) found a vehicle even better than I had hoped for! I can be very difficult to work with because I am extremely picky, and I think about details over and over again, but Chris never gave up on me (he was extremely patient with me; he allowed me to take time to think and process everything at my own pace), and was always available to answer any and all questions I had (no matter how silly or mundane). Buying a vehicle is a HUGE stressor, and to add the stress of buying a used vehicle means a person truly has to trust who they are working with to make sure it comes with little to no snags. As a single woman with little knowledge about cars, the prospect of shopping and buying a new one is daunting. When my car blew a head gasket, I had to make a decision whether to spend the money to fix it or admit it was time to trade it in. The service department was very patient while I took several days to do my research and weigh my options. When I decided to trade in and get a new (used) vehicle, Troy Sunken was very helpful every step of the way. He seemed to anticipate my questions and answer them before I even asked. Chris and Hawkins have always been readily available to work with my schedule, find a vehicle that suits me and my needs, and make buying a vehicle an enjoyable experience.Tabitha Bicknase was also a big help. Very friendly family dealership that has long term employees . Dealt with Troy Sunken .. 425 mile drive from the northern woods of Minnesota to pick up the 2005 Yukon XL for my wife . Great looking SUV that my wife loves .. problem was the dealership sent me back home up I-35 W through Minneapolis on a Friday afternoon with NO spare tire .. Very frustrated when arrived at home and discovered that the spare tire hoist and spare tire were missing .. followed up with Troy Sunken that next Monday and he didn't seem to concerned ..has made no follow up to supply a spare or refund of $$$ to purchase a replacement on my own .. feel that the safety of their customers while on the rode would be a little more important to them .. We stopped by Hawkins just to look at a Corvette, with no expectation of actually purchasing it. After meeting Issac Abel and driving the car, that all changed! Issac is one of he most pleasant, non- aggressive car salesman I have ever dealt with. He certainly knew how interested I had immediately become, but never pushed me into making a decision. I would definitely choose to work with him again in the future. As for Hawkins, I can't say enough about how they went the extra mile to take care of me. The Corvette had a possible mechanical problem from the get-go. Issac continued to assure me they would take care of it, if it was in fact a problem. The day I picked up the car, the problem resurfaced. Hawkins immediately offered to fix it at no cost to me. BUT, they went even a step further! I live 2 hours away from Fairmont. I asked, and was given the okay, to have it fixed in my area, even though it would cost them more to do it that way. Outstsanding service AFTER the sale! Way to go, Hawkins and Issac Abel. Herb and I just wanted to say "Hats Off to the staff at Hawkins Chevrolet in Fairmont, MN & especially Troy Sunken". We first started getting interested in purchasing an Equinox when we saw one at the Auto Show in Mpls. in March of this year. Next we started checking out dealerships in the area. Troy was most helpful in answering our questions about the vehicle's performance, features and price. We were also impressed with the way Hawkins was willing to go the extra mile for their customers in regard to service, etc. We would like to thank Troy for the personal attention he gave us. He spent over an hour explaining all the features that our new Equinox has. He even connected our cell phones to the vehicle. Buying our 2013 Chevy pick up was very hassal free. Chis went out of his way to work with our schedule for us to be able to test drive the truck after hoursTabitha was willing to stay to do the paperwork yet that night but there was no need to do so.When I came to pick up the truck, Chris had the truck ready to go, Chris took the time to help me with setting up the on star and blue tooth features and to go over some of the other features of the truckTabitha had all the paperwork ready for me and explained everything very well. Working with the various staff members that we did at Hawkins was truly a great experience and made trading vehicles pretty stress free. Working with Troy and Chris on the price of the new vehicle and our trade in, we were able to come to an agreement that both of us were happy with. We selected Hawkins in Fairmont to give them a chance at selling us a new car, we had made contact with Troy Sunken previously through e-mail, set up a day to buy a car. It worked out on a Saturday to just drop in, even knowing he would not be there. The other salesman welcomed us and showed us an Equinox that we were interested in. And gave us a quote on our trade in. Troy Sunken called us on Monday. We visited and Troy Sunken went to work and found us an Equinox that we liked, from there we closed the deal!

Troy made it easy for me. What was nice I was coming from about a two and a half hour drive and he had the car all cleaned and sitting waiting for a test drive when I got there. It was also nice to walk in the dealership and be offered a pop or coffee that's something that hasn't happened before. They just made me feel at home I appreciated that.

I had a 2007 Chevy Tahoe that I wanted to trade in because it had a lot of miles on it. I searched online not really knowing what kind of vehicle I wanted to trade it in for or what dealership I wanted to work with. I found a 2011 GMC Acadia that was a certified pre-owned vehicle at Hawkins Chevrolet so I called Troy Sunken to schedule a test drive. It was really cold that day and Troy had the Acadia warmed up and ready to go by the time I got there. I was hesitant about buying an Acadia because I was used to the size of my Tahoe, but Troy told me his wife had an Acadia and that their family fit in it comfortably. I felt like Troy was honest and trustworthy and not pushy like other sales people at other dealerships that I've been to. Tabitha Bicknase was also wonderful to work with. She had all the paperwork ready to go and had me in and out of her office in no time. I really enjoy my Acadia and I feel like I was given a fair trade for my Tahoe and I would recommend Hawkins Chevrolet to anyone.

We had a great experience working with Dale Splinter at Hawkins Chevrolet! We met with Dale before leaving on vacation, explained to him what we were looking for in a 2014 Silverado pick up. When we arrived home a week later he had it found and waiting for us to come see, needless to say we were pretty excited! The day we picked it up he had all the paperwork ready and spent a lot of time with us showing us how the navigation, on star, radio and blue tooth worked, he also introduced us to the friendly folks that work in the office and service departments.Dale has called several times following up on his sale, making sure we are completely satisfied and happy with our purchase. We feel like we got exactly what we wanted, at a great price with spectacular customer service, we are very satisfied with our experience at Hawkins and will definitely return for our next vehicle purchase.

I told Steve the make, model and color that I was looking for... a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, in black. He found it very quickly and had it shipped in from New York. I think it only took a week to get here. The guys in the shop also did great work, and made it look like brand new. Everyone at Hawkins is very personable and extremely professional. You can tell they take pride in their work, and that customer service is their top priority. My family and I will only buy vehicles from Hawkins! No where else!

Hawkins has always been my first choice when work is needed on my vehicle or when considering buying a new/used vehicle. Mark Hawkins spent so much time with me while I was considering purchasing a different vehicle. I'm 68 years old, and there was a lot to learn about a newer car. He spent time explaining in detail and in language I could understand about everything related to my new car. I don't think he would have let me leave the lot until I understood how things worked and until my every question had been answered. He made me feel like I was the most important customer he had to see that day and I could take as much of his time as I wanted. Hawkins has always given me expert, friendly customer service. Hope they're around for as long as I need them - 'cause I don't want to have to go anywhere else!

While searching for a vehicle I came across one at Hawkins Chevrolet in Fairmont. It was a two hour drive from my home but the price was right and the sales people I had talked to were honest and fair. I took the chance and drove there. I worked with Dale Splinter and he was great. I had also talked to Troy Sunken and Chris Finck in the past and they were great also. I met Tom Hawkins, one of the owners, and he was very nice also. In our search for another vehicle we looked everywhere. Looking for a Suburban, Yukon XL or Escalade ESV we had a very difficult time finding one that met our expectations of options, age and mileage and of course price. We happened to find the perfect vehicle right under our noses at Hawkins. Troy Sunken was friendly and professional. The staff at Hawkins was great and very understanding of my children, who were less then thrilled to be car shopping with Mom. One staff member (Dale Splinter?) even took the time to play with my kids for a few minutes so I could have a few moments to speak with Mr. Sunken without interruption. During the purchase, I asked for a tail light to be replaced, although it was fully functional, I was concerned about moisture in it causing future problems. Mr. Sunken told me it would not be a problem, and had a new taillight assembly ordered at no charge to me before I even signed the papers. Tabitha Bicknase was great, she took the time to get to know me while finding me the best finance option available to me. On my drive home, I noticed something rolling around in the dash, I had not noticed during my test drive because I had 2 now very excited children asking questions. A few days later, I noticed some oil drips under the vehicle. I spoken with Mr. Sunken about both issues. Mr. Sunken and the staff at Hawkins stood by their sale and agreed to address both issues for me, at no charge. I am very pleased with my entire experience at Hawkins. In this day and age it can be hard to find a dealership that genuinely cares about the customer, most are only interested in the sale and leave you on your own the second you sign the paperwork. Not Hawkins, they went the extra mile to make sure we continued to be happy with our purchase. If they don't have exactly what your looking for, let them find it for you, you won't find a better buying experience then at Hawkins!

Our sales person, Troy Sunken was very knowledgeable. He was able to thoroughly answer all of our questions, and find a vehicle that had all of the features we were looking for, at the right price. After the purchase, I feel Troy went the extra mile, assisting us with setting up all the features our new suburban had to offer. He took the time to set up the onstar, as well as showing us how to set up our mobile devices to work with the suburban's blue tooth system. Troy, as well as all of the staff we had the opportunity to speak with were very friendly, and made us feel very comfortable. We would definitely do business with Hawkins Chevrolet again. NEVER before had a Salesman walked me through all of the options in the car I was looking at, nor have they ever been SO thorough with the sale... Chris, Tom, Mark, and Tabitha definately made me feel like Family. Everytime I entered their office, they always asked if I wanted something to drink and asked how I was doing, asked about my baby girl. They definatley showed me that they do care and even after I purchased a vehicle, Chris and Tom have both checked in to see how things are going and making sure all is good. I also can't help but think about the "little things" thoughout my experience as well... Two times they accomodated me by getting my 2 vehicle to their dealership, Chris helped me take out both of my carseats from my vehicles I was trading in, when I dropped off my spare keys, Chris came outside to get them as my baby girl was in the back seat sleeping, and after my purchase, Chris took 1/2 an hour explaining the additional features in the car and how they work..... these all sound like such little things - - but WOW!! What AMAZING service! I never in the past felt overly committed to any dealership I dealt with because it was always "just a sale" - Hawkins is MORE then "just a sale"! All my future car purchases I can sincerely say, will be at Hawkins in Fairmont with Chris Finck!

My experiences with Hawkins has always been very good. The sales staff have all been friendly and helpful and I have dealt with Troy Sunken for several years and he has always been very helpful and understanding. Could not ask for a better salesperson than Troy. When we took delivery of our new vehicle, he did an excellent job of explaining how the equipment on our new Impala worked and what we might expect in the future regarding some of the features. Tabitha handled the paperwork when we took delivery of our 2014 Impala and explained everything in detail, including warranty, extended warranty, etc.

I'd have to say that this was the best car shopping experience that I've ever had! A lot of dealerships/salespeople tend to be pushy, overbearing, and/or they lead you in the opposite direction(Having you look at cars that are either out of your price range or nothing like what your looking for). This was not the case at Hawkins! My salesperson was Troy Sunken and he did an amazing job. He was truly interested in helping me find a good car within my price range. I'm very impressed with this dealership! I had been car shopping for a month(online and at dealerships) and was starting to get discouraged. Then I came across the Hawkins website and found a couple vehicles that I was interested in. After I had read the reviews, I thought that this place just might be too good to be true, but I decided to call anyways. I'm so glad I did. I test drove one of the cars that I was interested in and was sold instantly. Things just kept getting better and better. Not only did I find my beautiful 2008 Chevy Cobalt with roughly 88,000 miles for $8,000, but Tabitha Bicknase found me an amazing financing offer that blew my bank out of the water! She also found me a reasonable warranty at a low price, as well as taking care of ALL the paperwork(And I mean ALL of it - registration, title, licensing, and etc., she even contacted my insurance company!) I just kept looking for the hidden flaws and reading the fine print, because this seemed almost surreal, but there were none! A car fax report came with every vehicle free of charge. They were honest and straight forward about everything, and I asked a lot of questions. The only thing that I can say that they didn't do was lower the price of the vehicle(which was already a great price). I'm very pleased with my overall experience from Hawkins. I would and probably will buy my next vehicle from Hawkins. I also received a $25 gift card just for showing up. On top of everything else that they had already done for me!

Could not say enough about the ease it took to buy my Equinox. Buying a new car was brand new to me and Troy and Tabitha were there with answers to all my questions, even the silly ones. When I was looking at the vehicle that I was considering purchasing, I approached Dale Splinter and he stopped what he was doing to help me. Dale was very kind and answered all of my questions I had about the vehicle and introduced me to the staff for financing and also introduced me to the people in the service department. The car I was driving was a 2007 Chevy Impala LTZ and I had almost 121,000 miles on it.I stopped by Hawkins to check on the new 2014 Impala and found out that had not received any at that point.I visisted with Dale Splinter and we took out a 2013 Equinox for a test drive and i was impressed how the car handled.I am now driving a 2013 Equinox LT2.

I was thinking of trading my old car in for a new one and i seen Hawkins had a 2013 Chevy Spark on the lot. I stoped in a couple of weeks ago and talked with Steve Hawkins. We talked about the car for awhile and took it for a test drive and i really liked it, but wanted a red one with a manual transmittion, so Steve found me one in no time at all, and to make a long story short the Spark is now in my drive way. Steve Hawkins and everyone that worked with me were great and i"m very satisfied, and love my new Chevy Spark. Every time i go somewhere people ask me what kind of car it is, so i tell them alittle about it and that i got it at Hawkins Chevrolet in Fairmont MN. I'm glad to have Hawkins for my hometown Chevy dealer and look forward to working with them in the furure.

I was thinking of trading my old car in for a new one and i seen Hawkins had a 2013 Chevy Spark on the lot. I stoped in a couple of weeks ago and talked with Steve Hawkins. We talked about the car for awhile and took it for a test drive and i really liked it, but wanted a red one with a manual transmittion, so Steve found me one in no time at all, and to make a long story short the Spark is now in my drive way.Steve Hawkins and everyone that worked with me were great and i"m very satisfied, and love my new Chevy Spark.Every time i go somewhere people ask me what kind of car it is, so i tell them alittle about it and that i got it at Hawkins Chevrolet in Fairmont MN. I'm glad to have Hawkins for my hometown Chevy dealer and look forward to working with them in the furure.

We finally agreed on a price and bought the vehicle. We met Tom the owner, and felt like we had been admitted to a big family. Chris first had the vehicle washed one more time and took our picture with the vehicle to hang on his office wall. A couple days later I got another personal email with a video from Tom thanking my wife and I for the purchase. It was a very nice experience. It was at a dealership near the Cities, and he had an employee drive it down to Fairmont. Tom Hawkins was responsive to one concern, in particular, and acted in a reasonable amount of time to try fixing the situation. The credit process was seamless, and at a rate slightly lower than I expected. I recommend Tom Hawkins to anyone searching for a Chevy dealer they can trust. Above all, I really enjoyed the no-hassle pricing. THAT made buying a car so much more enjoyable.

The Hawkins family at the Chevrolet dealer were great. They did not pressure me to just buy just any vehicle. They were pretty busy but they took the time to help me find the right vehicle. Financing was pretty tense at one point but they worked hard to make sure it worked the best for me. I am very grateful for all of your help. This dealership is like dealing with your own family. People are truly interested in what you are looking for and what would be the best deal for you. Troy was very knowledgable about the truck I was looking for and answered all my questions. When I was asked about a trade in I again was treated very fairly and again Mark wanted me to ride with him when he test drove it and we talked about what had been done with My Avalanche, and I was given a very fair trade. Tabitha handled the paper work very quickly and was very personable. Troy again followed up within 3 days to make shure things were going well with the pickup. Tom then sent an E-Mail to thank us for purchasing from them and asked if we had any questions to give him a call. This is not the first time buying from this dealership, but we are always treated the same.

Troy Sunken at Hawkins Chevrolet offered the best car buying experience possible. For starters, he stayed open late for us since we weren't able to make it til after hours. He showed us the carfax right off the bat and answered every question we had. He then pulled the car into the shop and turned the lights on so we could see it better since it was dark outside, snowing and really windy. We were able to look the car over and he showed us how things worked and answered any additional questions we had. My husband then test drove it. We agreed to the price and started the paperwork for financing. Troy then proceeded to help me hook up my phone to the blue tooth system. He also hooked up and talked to the OnStar person for me. The free SiriusXM trial wouldn't go through that night so I called him later in the week and he then was able to contact SiriusXM and get that hooked up for me also. Buying a car through Hawkins Chevrolet and working with Troy was great. I will go back there for future purchases and have already recommended them to others.

I visited the Hawkins dealership a few weeks ago to purchase a used Kia Optima. Tom Hawkins and the Hawkins Chevrolet Dealership came recommended to me through a family reference. Being able to trust a car salesman isn't always easy, but Tom was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. I live in Owatonna, so Fairmont is about an hour and a half journey for me. I called Tom and asked if he'd be able to meet me at 7:00pm, as it was the best I could do with my work schedule. He said that it would be no problem whatsoever. This was my first vehicle purchase, so I was rather nervous. Tom walked me through it step-by-step and made sure I understand exactly what was going on. He was very sincere and friendly which made the entire process a breeze for me. He ended up staying until 9:30 that night to finish the process--- someone who is willing to go that far out of their way to make others happy is hard to find. Hawkins definitely made my first purchase from a dealership a good experience. Chris Finck met me on the lot and answered any question I had throughout the pocess of purchasing my 2009 GMC Acadia as did anyone else working. Chris Finck was an excellent salesman, he wasn't to pushing in asking us if we would consider a little higher priced car or a different model and that is something I find as GREAT quality as a salesman, we have been to other dealers where all they do is push you to spend more. No such case here they are just happy to help you in anyway they can. My wife and I plan on being back in the future, and we can't wait!

We have purchased several new pickups from several dealerships, this is the second new pickup we have purchased at Hawkins. I have always felt that you can advertise an image but a reputation must be earned...Hawkins advertises the "Hawkins Difference"...there truly is a difference. Everyone there is hometown friendly and professional and strives to make your buying experience excellent and the service after the sale is second to none. Being a Marine deployed overseas, it was difficult to find a dealer who would be patient enough to work with me in getting a new truck. However, i found the truck i wanted online while in the middle of the ocean. Hawkins was the only dealer out of the many others i have tried who were patient enough and understanding of the situation i was in while i was still 2 months from even getting back into the states let alone back home when i could pick up the truck. But they worked with me and were very kind and patient for me to get back and complete the purchase on my truck. I have been driving it and using it to its full extent and i absolutely love it. They gave me a very good deal on a very nice truck all while completely understanding and being very patient with a deployed marine.

I was looking for a cheap used car and thought the only way I would find a bargain in my price range was to buy directly from the owner. For several days I searched classifieds within a 100 mile range of Fairmont and then would drive to look at the vehicles that sounded promising only to time and again come-away frustrated that I wasted so much time and gas to go look at what turned out to be peace of junk. On my way back from Albert Lea where I looked at a car (the owner said it was in excellent condition but it turned out that it had been in an accident and they only repaired (cheaply) the body without fixing the mechanical damages) so I swung into Hawkins since I was driving by and ended-up finding the bargain that I had been searching for -- only 6 blocks from home! Dale Splinter was the salesman who helped me and he was very pleasant as were all the people at Hawkins. Actually, that is an understatement: They were exceptionally friendly! On November 10, 2012 we purchased a 2008 Grand Prix GXP from Hawking Chevrolet in Fairmont, MN. Troy Sunken was great to work with, he made sure the car was washed and ready to go even before we arrived at the dealership for a test drive. Troy sat us down to go over the cars history and the repairs that they recently had done. We left for a few hours to crunch some numbers and returned with a vehicle for a possible trade in. They were closing at 4:00 pm that day but Troy, Steve, and Tabitha stayed until we arrived back at the dealership. Steve checked out our possible trade in and we began crunching numbers again. Tabitha left for a short time but came back to the office to draw the paperwork up for us. Soon after we purchased our car we were driving home on I-90 and yes, we hit a deer. Just our luck, we buy a new car and wrecked it all within 30 minutes from leaving the dealership. Big Richards tow service came out to tow the car to Don?s Repair in Fairmont and was able to get ahold of Tom Hawkins who generously offered us a courtesy car, so that we could get home until we figured the details out on our newly wrecked car. Troy came back to the dealership to give us the keys to the courtesy car and even called on that Monday to see how things were going. When we are in the market for a new/used vehicle we will definitely being going back to Hawkins Chevrolet, in Fairmont because they truly do go the extra mile and we are truly Grateful for all their Generosity in helping us through our recent purchase and accident ?

Buying our new 2013 Malibu was a wonderful experience. Mark was always more than willing to answer any questions that we had and was very patient with us. With us looking at the new model 2013 Malibu there was not as much familiarity of the vehicle but if Mark didn't know something that I questioned about,he went out of his way to find the information out for us. If he was busy with another customer when we stopped in there was always another helpful staff member to come to our aide until Mark was available. You won't find a better selection, better prices, or a friendlier staff anywhere else. Chris Finck was a wonderful salesman; he found the right SUV for me for the right price and offered a no-pressure sales experience. Tabitha Bicknase got me a decent loan rate from Ally (much better than what my bank was offering me) and Mark Hawkins made a very fair offer on my trade-in. Earlier in the day I went to a dealer that just didn't seem interested in selling me a car so I left without even test driving anything. Troy seemed interested in what I was looking for and what I didn't want in a new car. We test drove only one car. I then said I was going to Mankato to look. He said he would offer me a great deal and keeping business local made owning a car and getting it serviced a lot more convenient. I spent the rest of the day test driving in Mankato. What a let down. The salesmen/women were pushy and even if I said I didn't like a certain car, they still tried to push it on me. In the end, I came back to Hawkins and bought the car I had test drove earlier in the week. The price was good and by going online to their site, I was able to download and print a $200 coupon to be used for the purchase of my car.

Our family was recently in a car accident on vacation. The car was totalled. It really was a stressful time and since my husband works on the road it was up to me and my mom to look for a vehicle. I found Hawkins online, Chris Finck was the one who greeted us. He asked a couple of questions about what I was looking for and immediately showed us a couple options. He is friendly and helpful and got the process moving quickly. We shopped around and were confident we got the best deal! Paperwork had to be mailed back and forth between my husband and the dealership and Chris was always willing to keep us informed. My mom was hesitant but he won her over too! We absolutely love our 2012 Traverse and my husband can't wait to see it!

Chris Finck was the first person my husband met when he walked in the door at Hawkins and he was very welcoming and informative, without any sales pressure. He answered questions and took the time to get to know what we were looking for in a Suburban. We were happy with the price we got for our 2009 trade-in and VERY happy with the price we paid for our new 2012 Suburban. Our kids love the DVD player and they all think Hawkins Chevrolet rocks, so do we. We will definately buy another vehicle from Chris Finck and Mark Hawkins. Thanks - Renae & Chris

Mark Hawkins did a great job with finding us the 2012 Impala we were looking for with all the right equipment. The price of the vehicle was right in line with other similar Impalas I had found online and Mark was very friendly and great to work with. I've had the Impala for 1 week now and it is everything we expected and more. Great job Mark and Hawkins!

I had a good experience dealing with Hawkins Chevrolet. I had interest in one of their used vehicles I found on the internet and contacted them for additional information. I dealt with Chris Finck over the phone and explained that I lived about five hours away, and also had a Yukon that I wanted to trade. He gave me the details about the truck I was looking at, and I sent him pictures and information on my trade. He got back to me quickly with a rough estimate of what they would offer on my trade. We took the trip down, and everything was as expected, no surprises (which was good due to the distance we traveled). The staff at Hawkins were all very friendly and made you feel comfortable. I would consider them for future purchases. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Wonderful Experience Again!! This is the second time we have worked with Chris Finck at Hawkins. We purchased our 2009 Traverse new from Chris and we decided to downsize. We were looking for an 2012 Impala LTZ with very specific requests and Chris went to work right away on locating the vehicle we desired and within 2 hours had located the vehicle and began the process of getting it for us. When we went in to get the vehicle, Chris had everything ready. After getting all the paperwork done, Chris went over everything on the car with us, set up On-Star and the Blue Tooth options for our cell phones. We could not ask for a better salesman than Chris! He goes out of his way to make everything just right and the experience easy and painless.

Our experience was easy, fair and most of all the professionalism with down home family appeal made the purchase of our truck special. Of all days being Irish it was St. Patty's day! Complimentary snacks, green punch and decoration made things even better. The cookies were awesome! From Chris Finck's Candid humor and friendliness to Tabitha's expertise in closing the deal with the financing it was the smoothest and most simple quick process I ever experienced in buying a vehicle. We ended up at Hawkins by the Grace of God--it wasn't our plan, but we are so extremely thankful for the change in "our plan". Our Hawkins Chevrolet experience was beyond pleasant...it was absolutely wonderful. AND EASY! Chris Finck is forever our guy!! If ever we choose to buy again--or trade--we will go directly to Chris.I dont want to forget to mention the other friendly people at Hawkins Chevrolet. It is a team effort and they were all so good to us. Lastly, we were so happy with how fair they were in our business deal. We left feeling like we got the best deal that we could have EVER been given, and that's not always the case when you purchase a vehicle. My overall experience with Hawkins Chevrolet was pleasing because the customer service given by Chris Finck was excellent. Chris Finck was friendly and worked very hard to give me the car that I was looking for at a reasonable price. He kept in touch with me by phone adequately. When I came to pick up the new vehicle, Chris Finck was well prepared and delivered the instructions and paper work efficiently.

First and foremost, Hawkins Chevrolet advertised and described the vehicle very accurately on the internet so it made my 120 mile trip (one way) to see the vehicle very worthwhile.Second, Chris Finck was extremely professional and patient when I asked a number of questions about the vehicle which included its history, condition, warranty, price, etc. Third, Mark Hawkins gave me a very fair price for my trade-in and spent as much time as needed to discuss the vehicle and its value.Finally, these guys are not high pressure people and went out of their way to accomodate me during a very busy time at the dealership. I did not know these people before I purchased this vehicle but I would recommend them and buy from them again.

Just purchase a 1993 S10 pickup truck from Hawkins Chevrolet and it has been a great experience; they are fast to respond to any questions, unbelievable at their customer service skills. Honestly their best feature is that they will treat you like family; not because they want your business but because they actually care. My experience started when I emailed Tom Hawkins with regards to my truck the conversations lasted for about two weeks, during that time he answer questions with regards to shipping options and the actual condition of the truck as well as all of my concerns. Once I decided to purchase the vehicle and all of the paperwork was done; the truck was delivered at my house in Houston, Texas in only three days. Tom made all of the shipping arrangements and the truck came in safe and fast. I can truly only wonder how they would have treated me if I was a local customer. Lets just say that If you are looking for a new car or used car, and you are close to Fairmont, Minnesota consider Hawkins Chevrolet as a place where they will take care of your needs and wants; if you are from a different city or an online shopper like I was, be ensured that they will be fair and truthful. I will keep watching their website (already have it bookmarked), I am sure they will have other cars I might be interested on in the future.

Coming to Hawkins dealership I was hesitant that I would be taken advantage of, being a young woman; however, I quickly realized what Hawkins was selling. Good vehicles that fit your needs. Chris Finck was helpful from my first phone call to the last hand shake - even beyond. Professional, friendly - Hawkins truly is dedicated to customer service and satisfaction. Even after driving off the lot, I received further info on my trade that I wouldn't have caught without Tabatha's help! I never expected to drive a perfect used car away, but I was blown away that Hawkins made every attempt to make it right and meet me in the middle with body work. You never know what you might get from a used vehicle, but with Hawkins help -there is no need to worry. Without a doubt, I trust every vehicle Hawkins has to offer.

My son and I went there expecting to just look at a used vehicle, ask some questions and move on to the next stop--Chris Finck was very helpful, answered our questions, took us on a test drive and explained their position in the market. We were both impressed--if he didn't know the answer, he found it for us. We took a look at financing through their dealership and found we weren't going to get as good of a rate from our own banks (thanks Tabitha). After it was all said and done, we drove away with a 2007 Dodge Charger in approximately three hours (with all minor repairs made).Overall, we were both very glad that we drove two hours to Fairmont and impressed with Chris's professionalism and dedication to us, the customer, and Hawkins Chevrolet. I will be in the market for a new vehicle in the next year and will definitely look to Chris and Hawkins Chevrolet.

I have always heard good things about Hawkins and they did not disappoint. They have a great reputation in the community. I was very impressed with the selection and variety of inventory they had on site to offer. They did a great job of showing the available options for the vehicles and got me exactly what I wanted quickly.

I took my 2009 Aveo in because the "check engine" light had come on. After diagnosing the problem and installing the correct part, Mr. Reinhart noticed that the vehicle tires were wearing abnormally and recommended rotating the tires along with having the vehicle aligned. Just before turning it back over to me, he saw to it that the car got washed....!!

My ratings are based on service performed on my 2005 cadillac in april 2011. I called Hawkins service department, explained the cars problem to jerry, he gave me some possible solutions and asked that i bring the car in for a visual inspection. i did and he immeditely found the problem; gave me the cost of the repair,and set up an appointment,all in 15 minutes. The work was completed , the cost was exactly as estimated, AND the car was washed and the inside cleaned. Terrific service and resonable price. jim lytle

I have been a customer at Hawkins since they came to Fairmont. My late husband and I found Tom to be honest, hard working, fair and resonable. I keep going back because they treat me like they really care and I feel that my business is appreciated. My daughter (who lives in the Twin Cities) will be in the market for a different car in the near future and Tom has assured us that he is keeping his eyes open for a GOOD used car that can be certified (daughter cannot swing a brand new car right now). Josh and Jerry listen to my concerns and talk me through the possible/necessary service needed. My one regret is that Hawkins will no longer be a Cadillac dealer--I won't be driving to the Twin Cities just for new wheels, I'll get some other model which will take getting used to since I have been driving new Cadillacs since 1987. The service department is a part of the picture, but Tom makes buying a car personal.GM should consider themselves lucky to have a business man of Tom's caliber!
