I Had a recall on my new Ram Rebel truck that I purchased from Hendrick CDJR in Hoover Alabama. I took my truck in and was greeted by 2 service advisors, Charter and Paul. They informed me that the part that I needed was on back order and it would be a few days before I would be able to get my truck back. It was a few days before Christmas and I had a trip planned to visit relatives for the holidays and needed my truck. They called and got my part put on the fast track and had one of the mechanics put it on as soon as it came in. When they called me on the 23rd and said my truck was ready I could not believe it. I had my truck back and did not miss any of the Christmas holidays with my family. Thanks to Paul, Charter and the rest of the Hendrick service department, they are the best!!!!

I originally went in looking to purchase a Challenger SXT Plus and my salesman Michael Jenkins, which is new to the company was very helpful in trying to get me in the right vehicle. After a few frustrating days of negotiations with the sales manager John Porter we were about to give up and move on to somewhere else. I went in one last time and asked to work with a different sales manager and Mike brought in Christie Taylor to help him out with my deal. To make a long story short Christie found a manager that worked us the deal we were happy with and we drove off the lot in a 2015 RT Charger. I recently purchased my 2nd vehicle, 2015 Dodge Durango, from from Hendrick in the past two years. I decided to reach back out to Hendrick for this vehicle as my past experience with them was a pleasant one. Brad Horton is the salesman that I worked with both times and is the primary reason I continue to use Hendrick. Most notably, Brad is by far the most knowledgeable sales rep I have ever dealt with in the automotive industry regarding the product(s) he sales. He has always been extremely helpful, personable, and worked with me to make sure I ended up getting a good deal that I was comfortable with. I've enjoyed the in/out process of dealing with Hendrick as a whole when I've both needed help determining what vehicle most suited me, as well as knowing exactly what I wanted and having Hendrick get the vehicle in-front of me. Furthermore, the customer service (and even with Brad post-purchase) has been on point. I've not once felt as if I was pushed to the wayside after I had purchased a vehicle on any day-2 service or maintenance visits or inquiries. I definitely plan on continuing to work with Hendrick and Brad Horton for all of my future car purchases.

Good Morning, My name is Monica Leach. I brought my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee into your service department this November for a recall on the ignition. The only questions asked was my contact and other information to get my car in the shop and service began. I had taken my car to other Jeep dealerships who tried to sell me a new car, lied to me about what I needed and another that never had the parts. I received this recall in 2014 and because I was closer to other dealerships I went their first and received snotty, unprofessional service. I have a 2011 Dodge Durango which I love. It was having starting engine problems and I called Hendrick's and the same day they towed it to the dealership. Paul Borge stayed in constant contact with me regarding issue, and 2 days later it was repaired by Johnny. I met both of these guys when I picked up the car, they both seemed genuine and provided great service. I don't see that often in today's world, so it was refreshing. My husband and I were on the way for vacation in Florida (with our 100 lb. labrador!) when the emergency charging light came on in our 2011 Dodge Caravan! We were only 2 hours into our 9 hour drive, and we quickly looked for a dealership in Birmingham, AL. The best dealership/service department Ever was the one we found! Hendrick Chrysler Dodge in Birmingham, led by Chris Colburn! Although his service department was swamped (we could tell!), Chris welcomed us, said he would take a look at it, and escorted us to the service lounge, chocolate lab in tow! Christie and Chris were both great folks to work with. They went above and beyond getting me the truck I wanted. They proved to be the dealer most willing to work with me on my very specific and particular needs and always made sure I was taken care of. They were able to find me a vehicle that fit my needs many states away and went and got it for me without question. Their ability to track down vehicles and offer a rock bottom price is unmatched. I experienced the best service I have ever had in the Collision Center and Service Department at Hendrick Jeep. Even though I have never had any experience in these departments of this dealership, Amber and Jimmy Cole in the Collision Center made us feel like we were old friends getting special treatment when we brought our Jeep in after a minor accident. I seriously could not believe how helpful and informed they were. Not only that, as busy as they were, they couldn't have been more patient with or friendly and kind to us. Paul Borge in the Service Department not only ensured that the service was performed in a timely manner, but also performed needed recalls that another dealership in town informed us couldn't be done for 6 weeks. The service was incredible. I can not imagine how our experience could have been any better. Thank you Amber, Jimmy and Paul!

Michael Jenkins, Sales Manager with Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram goes the extra distance to get the vehicle you wish to buy, the best financial rate available and follows up with you to see if you are enjoying your new driving experience. I just call Michael and tell him what I'm looking for in a vehicle, the price and note that I'm willing to go, he does the rest. When he has everything lined up,calls back and schedule an appointment to come and test drive the vehicle. Michael goes the extra distance. I have purchased four vehicles from Michel Jenkins at Hendrick and I'd rate him a 10 on each purchase experience.. Michael should be selected as Hendrick Sales Manager of the year.

I came into Hendrick Hoover haphazardly 3 Saturdays ago just to check the size of a used Dodge SUV I was interested in purchasing in Tuscaloosa, AL and ended up driving away in a brand new 2015 Jeep Compass! My search began with a stop at another dealer nearby to view the Dodge but it was unavailable due to servicing, so I kept driving and stopped at Hendrick Hoover because I remembered it was a Dodge dealer. My sales consultant, Delisa, greeted us promptly when we arrived and immediately took us to the vehicle I asked to see. Well, it turned out that Dodge would not suit my needs and we prepared to leave and continue browsing online for other options. Instead, Delisa asked what exactly I was looking for and what I was willing to pay. We sat down and searched their inventory for other vehicles, test drove a car, and had my existing car appraised. When I still wasn't convinced I'd found "the vehicle" I wanted, the financial manager, Jared, came in and offered to get me into a NEW SUV for the same monthly payment I was contemplating for a 2010 car. Of course I said "YES", and then test drove the 2015 Jeep Compass. It was "the vehicle" for me and I drove out of there with it! The only negative feedback I would give is that we never discussed the specs/features of the Jeep, and the long wait to complete the paperwork (~2 hour). All-in-all, I could not be more happy with my decision to buy from Hendrick Hoover and I absolutely LOVE my new Jeep. Many thanks to Delisa and Jared!!!

I went to Hendrick CDJR in Hoover to see the new Ram 1500 Rebel. I am so glad I did. The staff was great. Brad Horton was my salesman and he was very knowledgeable. He took his time to show mw all the features and did not pressure me. Chris handled my financing, and he got me an unbelievable rate from the bank that put my payment exactly where I told him I needed to be. The manager of the store, I believe her name was Tonya, even came out and thanked me for my business. They really put customers first and that is why I will recommend Hendrick to all my family and friends. Thanks Hendrick, I love my new truck!!!

My family and I were traveling back from vacationing on the Florida Gulf Coast to our home in Kentucky when our 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan blew a heater core supply/return hose assembly spewing coolant all over which lead to the engine to begin to overheat. We were on I-65 just south of I-459. The van was towed into the dealership on a Sunday afternoon. I talked with Paul Borge at 7:30am on Monday morning and he was confident they could have us back on the road that day. Not only were they able to replace the broken part, they also were able to take care of an overlooked maintenance item they brought to my attention that left unattended might have resulted in another roadside breakdown. We were on the road at 12:30pm Monday afternoon back on our way home. Paul and the entire service organization did an outstanding job getting us getting us back on track after our breakdown. Thanks to all!!

A man by the name of Mr. Paul Borge helped me with a problem I had with my Jeep Liberty 4dr Rwd Sport 2011. The back light on the passenger side was not coming on and there was a problem with the connection between the light and wiring.This was not the first time I had problems with this light.He was nice, respectful and very knowledgeable about my car and the service it needed. The problem was fix within 30 minutes and I was so happy I didn't have to miss work.

I had a great experience servicing my car at Hendrick Jeep. Having been to several dealerships for service, usually my expectation is that service falls flat. As opposed to the usual, I have to say that Hendricks is great! The repairs were completed on time, and timelines were communicated to me. The employees were upfront about the work, and they even pushed through several recall notices that other dealers told me would take months! I would absolutely recommend Hendricks Jeep as a service provider, and I would definitely not go anywhere else. Paul was my contact, and he was exceptional!

Mr. Michael Jenkins, went above and beyond the call of duty, his took care of my wife and I, he knew it would be a waiting game dealing with a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy purchase, but he made the deal go quicker by contacting the attorney the lender etc. Mr. Jenkins even took vacation but still call and check on the status daily of my documents. After that in step the finance young lady Mrs. Brittany she was AWESOME as well and very knowledgeable about the banking and the whole Bankruptcy process. Mr. Jenkins even had my car delivered to my house at 12 Noon last Saturday. I will definitely be using these two people again.

I was very excited to purchase a jeep from Hendrick but was disappointed in how Haley our salesperson kept me, my wife and newborn waiting while she was texting and was on Facebook while we were trying to get her help and purchase our vehicle. My wife really wanted the new 2015 Jeep Cherokee so I agreed to go ahead and purchase it and over look the rudeness. Then only to get with Brittany in financing and have her to throw a pen across the table and very rudely say sign there and not show me where to sign after I turned down all the extras she tried to get me to purchase. Such as extended warranty and others I felt I didn't need due to it being a new vehicle. Overall I was very disappointed with my experience with Hendrix.

I own a 2006 Jeep Wrangler which was brought in for service back in January of this year for shifter problems (automatic). Correction were made and other service recommended by Service Writer - Paul was performed. I was very pleased with the service. Then last week there was again a shifter problem?(service was in January and the vehicle was driven less than a 1000 miles)The staff of Hendrick from Service Writer - Paul to the young lady at the cashier went out of their way to get to the bottom of what the problem? I have purchased two Jeep vehicles from this dealership and always used them for service. Their location is very convenient and most importantly, I have an excellent experience every time. I usually work with Paul but all the service staff is very professional and knowledgeable. One of the things I appreciate from this dealership is getting a survey call a couple of days after taking the vehicle to service. Normally I would never write such a thing, but I have literally had the worst experience dealing with their service department and have no other choice. Do NOT take your vehicle to this place. On 5/28/15 I had my Chrysler van towed to their service department because it wouldn't start. The woman on the phone couldn't promise it would be looked at that day, but for sure the next. 5/29 I called my service advisor to see if I could pick up my vehicle, I was informed nobody had even looked at it- nor were they planning on it, but was promised the right mechanic would be working the next day 8-5 and would get to it. 5/30 never received a call, left 2 voicemails and was never called back. 6/1 I called to tell them I was coming to get my car to take somewhere else, but was then told they finally looked at it and it would be a fuel pump replacement. The parts were available locally and the van would be ready that day or the next. The evening of 6/2 I call and was told it wasn't ready, but for sure the next day. Well I am currently writing to you and was now informed after speaking to a manger that the vehicle may not even be ready tomorrow 6/4. This is horrible service, I could have had the vehicle serviced by the lowest of low service shops many times over in a 7 day period and may take longer than that. Save your time and your money- do not go here. I have been paying my own bill on a rental car from Enterprise this entire time.

I just want to say how I appreciate Paul Borge and the mechanic for working on my Van 4-16-15. I would recommend them 100%. My wipers not turning off even when the engine was off was a major concern for me since I never knew that could happen. After they fixed the problem, Paul even took the time to show me what to do if that ever happened again and explained everything until I could get to them for service. What I also noticed is the concern the Service Consultants in general had with customers. As I was sitting in the nice comfortable waiting area, I observed how the SC would come in and sit with their customer and explain what they did, or what they found. If they were done, they walked with them to checkout, etc. I find that service awesome. Thank you Paul Borge and Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Hoover, Al for awesome service. EAF

My problem was that I was used to a good, customer focused dealership. I did not find that at Hendrick. My Jeep required a radiator replacement. 1)What should have been a half day repair turned into a two and a half day repair. 2) I don't deny the dealership wanting to make a profit.... but $1,400 for a radiator repair is nothing short of OBSCENE. 3) After picking up my vehicle upon completion, I got less than 5 miles from the dealership and had to return it so they could put the car back together correctly. My grill nearly came off on I-495. After completing their on line survey and expressing my disappointment with my Hendrick experience, vowing to NEVER EVER return to the their property, I receive a phone call from the service department offering me a $200 credit. Umm, let's see, if I accept the $200 credit, I'd have to go back to the dealership, right? As I am a man of my word, that will NEVER EVER happen. Tell you what Hendrick..... send me a check for $200 is you feel that bad about your screw ups. In conclusion, should your vehicle break down and require the service of a Mopar dealership, run, (don't walk) away from Hendrick as fast as you can!

As alarming as a fender bender can be, Hendrick Chrysler repaired my 2011 Honda Accord and they did a beautiful job. The staff went out of their way to make sure the repair process went smoothly. It was incredibly helpful that the insurance, rental car and repair shop were handled in one place. It certainly decreased my anxiety level. I came in to see Mr. Jenkins to see if I could purchase a car. I knew that my credit was ok but it did have a bankruptcy on it from 2005. From the moment that I came in to his office, I was treated with kindness and respect. I told him what i was looking for and he went out of his way to make it happen for me. I have been in situations where I tell them what kind of car I wanted then the salesman wanted to put me in a car that he knew he could sell, never tried to help me obtained what i really wanted. Mr. Jenkins put me in the car I have dreamed of owning. Then I got to meet the finance lady Ms. Brittany and she was awesome as well. She went to work and got me the best finance deal with a great warranty. What has impressed me also is Mr. Jenkins didn't quit at the sales part, he has texted me to see how I loved my car and he has helped me when a Malfunctioning light came on and he was off the next day but when he came back to work, he texted me to make sure that the service guy helped me out. I had just moved back from living overseas after graduation and had a job but no car. He showed me around all the options on his lot as well as numerous other locations that can ship cars in to his. But in the end I ended up finding one at another dealership over in Atlanta. Despite the fact that he had no financial incentive to help me purchase a car from another dealership, he rode along nonetheless and helped me navigate the process of purchasing this car from the lot in Atlanta (all my previous cars had been bought from people off craigslist).It took a bit longer than expected (the dealer did NOT want to budge on anything), but at the end of the day I had my car and that was what I had set out to do. This selflessness shown went above and beyond what I had expected from the "car salesman" image I had in my head from before this experience. In the future, I will be sure to send anyone I encounter looking for a new car to Brad's direction.

Bought my new truck from Brad and it was a good experience, he has the most knowledge of any salesman I have ever worked with. If you have any questions he will know the answer. He seemed to genuinely care that I ended up with the best car for my needs, not just the easiest one to sell me. I came to Brad looking for a new daily driver to replace my old BMW. I told him I was looking for certain features like Bluetooth, heated seats, etc. Brad already knew I had an attraction to performance, so by the time I arrived at the lot, Brad had a car ready for me to test drive, a 2011 Mustang GT/CS. When I first saw it, I complained that I didn't like Mustangs (I had previously been an import fan). Brad asked if I had ever driven one, which of course I hadn't. So we hopped in and went for a drive. Less than 15 minutes into the drive I had decided that I actually like mustangs, and that I had found my next car. Turns out Brad knew what I wanted better than I did. Thanks!

Brad Horton knew everything about every vehicle I looked at and also inquired about. I drove my daughter and family from Huntsville to Hendricks to pickup a car they had purchased late on a Friday afternoon. We realized that I had a screw in the tire of my Jeep Cherokee. Upon arrival my son-in-law asked if they might be able to fix it while we were there. They said they could not repair it but Evelyn called tire places near the dealership to help me find a place for repair. At almost 6:00 I found it could not be repaired and needed a new tire. I went back to Hendricks because the tire store did not have the right tire for my Jeep. The service department went out of their way to accommodate and help fix my problem before I had to drive back to Huntsville alone . They worked late, put on a new tire, and did it with professionalism. Gunter Watkins and Paul Borge made sure my car was road-ready, with a smile, at almost 7:00 pm when I am sure they would have much rather been somewhere else.

At the time the purchase was pretty quick and I did not get much information about the cars navigation system and all the capabilities of the entertainment system. I had my 2006 infinity g35 (silver) with passenger side front end damage brought to Hendricks collision in December and when I picked it up, you cannot tell there was a accident with the exception of the mismatch headlights do to one being new and the other old. Originally, I was bringing in another vehicle with other issues at 9:00 am. Those issues were fixed in 15 minutes. I asked Mike since I was off could they fix the recall on my vehicle. They checked the schedule and told me yes. I was back in 30 minutes and it took them less than 2 hours to fix the recall. The other service guy informed me that I have another recall and they will let me know when the parts come in. I was leaving the dealership at 12:30. I was very impressed with the service of both vehicles and the advance notice of another recall. I actually bought a vehicle for my daughter and chose a dodge so my family could all enjoy this experience. Thank you for providing me with courteous service.

I have a 2012 Jeep Liberty. My heat stopped working and I was preparing to leave for a trip to Gatlinburg (in the mountains) for my wedding. You can imagine my distress as my weather app indicated it was snowing in Gatlinburg and it would have been terrible to go without any heat. When I drove up to the service area I was explaining to a young male what was going on and the reasons I was needing to get it diagnosed and repaired as quickly as possible. Paul Borge, the service manager was nearby and overheard the conversation and walked over introduced himself and ensured me they would check it out and try to diagnose the problem. Paul was so considerate of my situation and during my wait at the dealership Paul and other service workers checked in with me and kept me completely updated on where they were with my vehicle. They had to order parts to fix the issue and to repair a recall part as well. Paul explained to me the issues and that the parts needed to be ordered. Paul made sure I had a vehicle that was similar size to drive to the mountains and get my big wedding dress into! He even called to check in on the rental and make sure it was going to work. Paul kept me informed about my vehicle every step of the way. He even came out to greet me when we returned to pick my vehicle up and asked how the wedding went. I cannot say enough about this dealership and the service manager. The whole service department has always been extremely nice and helpful and have always exceeded my expectations. My husband and I purchased our vehicles around the same time about 2 years ago. I purchased from Hendrick, he purchased from another dealership. I still get calls from Hendrick asking how my Jeep is performing and if I am satisfied. His chosen dealership has never called to ask even one question. Needless to say.. His next vehicle will be purchased from Hendrick!! We appreciate Hendrick for the courtesy and professionalism that is shown throughout your dealership from the sales staff when you are purchasing to the service department after you have become a customer. All dealerships say they care.. but very few show it. I have never been disappointed with this dealership and the fact that I took the time to write this long review says it all!!! Ms.Acker was very pleasant and was attentive to my requests. She listened and communicated well. She went out of her way to contact me various times and was very flexible in her times she was available to meet with me. She also was kind enough to drive me back to my vehicle after the rransaction. Her portion of the dealings with this dealership were pleasant and I appreciate it.As far as my total satisfaction, contrary to the excellent service I received from Ms.Acker, I was equally underwhelmed by the lack of integrity and with the heavy handed "negotiating" that took place between myself and her supervisor. I firmly believe I presente him with a vehicle that was in excellent condition. In fact, the initial quote I received indicated just that. But when he looked up the book value, he conveniently selected the normal condition value, which obviously was significantly less than an excellent condition vehicle. I clearly communicated that to him but he had absolutely no interest in listening to me or providing me with a reasonable offer. I also understand that I had a choice not to accept it, and in hindsight I should not have accepted it. But I was in a position where I was forced to sell it. What I do have a choice to do, is that I never have to purchase a vehicle, new or used, from any of the Hendrick Dealers. And I can assure you, since I feel he was not negotiating in good faith or fairly, and would not listen to my points, that I feel he has no integrity and I will not deal with him or anyone else within the Hendrick family again.F.Tucci

I would like to take a moment to tell you about my recent buying experience from this dealership. I am not one to write reviews (good or bad) on the internet but felt that my experience should be conveyed. First, I want to say the salesman I used was wonderful. He was not aggressive and very friendly. I felt very comfortable buying a car from him. The problem I had was after the decision was made to purchase the vehicle. I arrived at the dealership at 3:00 PM with the understanding that I was buying the vehicle. We made the decision to purchase the vehicle earlier in the day and I came back later with the understanding that some of the paperwork would be ready. However, I waited until 7PM before I could met with a finance person. I understand that it may have been a busy day but I have never waited for 4 hours at car dealership to buy a vehicle. I recently purchased a new vehicle from another dealer in town and it took at most 1.5 hours and this was on a busy Saturday as well. I have no credit problems or any issues that should cause this type of delay. After I finally met with the finance person the process seemed rushed. I was told that when I meet with the finance person we could discuss interest rates/terms etc. However, she states my interest rate was already determined despite it being much higher than I was led to believe early in the process. This was very frustrating. Finally, I do get the car around 7:30PM and I notice the gas tank wasn't even full. There was a little less than 1/2 tank. I thought this was very poor form that the dealership couldn't fill up the truck just for common courtesy. Again, previous car I bought earlier this year at another dealer made sure there was a full tank of gas for me. Not that much extra money to spend for a dealership just to make the customer a little more satisfied with their purchase. After I got the car home I was looking inside and there was dirt smeared all along the inside of back door. It was supposed to have been "detailed" but there was definitely dirt all along the back door and there were droplet/smear stains all over the doors/windows from cleaning sprays which were not wiped in. It appeared that it was just a rush-job. I actually had to re-clean the inside of the car after I got home since the doors looked so bad. Again, I am not the typical person to write and complain. I am very simple and don't expect much, but when I come to dealership to spend a significant amount of money on a car it would be nice to see a little more efficient service and professional organization in the buying process. At the moment, I would have to say I would not recommend friends/family to Hendrick's. Additionally, I sent an email to them expressing my concerns and no one even bothered to reply.

I just purchased a 2013 Buick Lacrosse. I had excellent service from start to finish. I felt very comfortable with the salesman I had. His name is David. He said he hadn't been there very long, but I couldn't tell. He was very professional and seemed to be interested in what kind of car I was looking for. My BMW 528i was damaged by a piece of truck tire tread that was thrown up from the highway damaging the from bumper, lights, drivers mirror and drivers door. The repairs were excellent. The only problem I had was that they were unable to repair the headlight since BMW uses an igniter and control box for each xenon headlight and they were unable to determine how to repair it. It was not really told to me what to do about this as far as insurance goes.

I purchased a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude from Hendricks Jeep Dodge Ram about 30 days ago. Upon discovering some paperwork issues, Jerry Nichols, my sales person, and Joel Watson, financing, have diligently worked to resolve these unknown factors. About a week ago, I started hearing what sounded like Power Steering noises and my Battery Low would flash. Today, I took it to them. They were booked up, however, Paul graciously took the time to listen and found the problem. It was rocks lodged between the rotor and backing plate. It was immediately fixed and we test drove it to be sure there was nothing else causing this. While driving, Paul explained my other concerns to me. Basically, educating me about my vehicle and putting my mind at ease. Thank you, Paul, for putting me at the head of the line! I have scheduled an appointment for later, when I know we can discuss my concerns. The whole experience with Hendricks has been and will continue to be GOOD. Highly Recommend them.

I've been dealing with Hendricks Jeep Dodge Ram for a little over a year--- particularly with the service department. Over this timeframe I've never encountered a problem with my vehicle that they couldn't fix. They've always been able to accomodate me even on their busiest days and that speaks volumes. I take customer service seriously. I deal with Soldiers all day as the Operations NCO. It's my job to provide them with the best level of service so they can succeed. This service department is no different because they want the same for their customers and it shows in their dedication and committment to the job at hand. I also want to extend my gratitude to their service manager, Paul Borge. He exemplifies professionalism and it reflects in his communication from the time I dropped off my Jeep to the time it was ready to be picked up. I received a very detailed (emailed) report on what was completed along with any recommendations for additional service work (if required). I also receive an update on when my Jeep is ready for pickup. He even prepped a courtesy shuttle to/from my office... who could ask for more than that??? I'll definitely choose this dealership for all my Jeep service needs--- time and time again. Thanks, Hendricks!!

Brought my Jeep in through AAA. It was dropped there after close on Thursday, received a call on Friday morning saying they had the jeep and it would be a quick fix, but were backed up and might be three days before they could get it in shop. Heard nothing Friday, nothing Saturday, called to see if they were still on track to get it in on Monday and was told by the woman answering my phone that they didn't have my car. She finally tracked it down and told me they'd get it in the shop ASAP. The next day I called back to see if I'd hear anything, and the woman on the phone corrected me telling me my car had been dropped off Monday, instead of the previous Thursday. Clearly they never put it in the system and forgot about it. Called and left a voicemail for the service manager, never got a call back. Mistakes happen, would have been nice to get a phone call with information or have someone acknowledge that this hadn't happened how it should. Finally my car was ready Wednesday, As I was picking it up, the woman ringing me up made a joke about how expensive my repairs were. The only positive was that the issue was fixed, and fixed well so thank you to the mechanic who finally looked at the car. Overall, horrible service and I won't be back.

I sold a used car to Hendrick in Hoover. The Acquisition Consultant that I worked with, Miss Lakisa Acker, was wonderful. She rated the used car correctly and was able to get me a good price for the car. I was given a check the same day. Also, it should be noted since I was selling a car, Miss Acker gave me a ride back to my office. I had the car listed on CL for over a month and had few serious inquiries. Once Miss Acker and I got connected, the car selling process went very smooth.

We had given up on locating the particular Jeep we were seeking, Copperhead Pearl Wrangler Unlimited, and saw that Hendricks had our second choice, Amp'd, on the lot. We arrived at 7:40pm, 20 minutes before closing. We looked at the vehicles on the lot and decided there were 2 that we were interested in. We went into the showroom and were greeted at the door by the receptionist, who asked what we were looking for and connected us with a salesman. Caleb asked what we were seeking, and said that the Copperhead color was not available. He did remember however that a shipment from another dealership had been received but not checked in. After checking into it, Caleb found that there in fact was a Copperhead Pearl Wrangler Unlimited on the truck. It was exactly the vehicle we were looking for, from color to options. It was now about 9 o'clock, an hour after closing. We offered to return first thing in the morning, but were told the deal could be closed now. Within an hour, we were the owners of our perfect Jeep. The vehicle didn't have the running boards we wanted, but the service department would have them on first thing in the morning, and it would be detailed and ready for delivery. We were called around 9:30am, and picked our Jeep up with ear-to-ear smiles. The Hendricks staff went beyond what I expected to deliver this vehicle to us, and we are extremely pleased and satisfied with our experience. Thanks to the entire staff who helped us find just what we wanted.

My wife and I have thought of owning a "fun" vehicle ever since we married almost twenty three years ago. Well after being young "empty nesters " for four years we made the decision to buy a Jeep Wrangler. After several days of researching dealerships within a hundred miles of our home I contacted Hendrix Chrysler, jeep in Birmingham,Within an hour we were contacted by Brad. I explained we would be coming to Hendricks in two weeks on 5/24/14 to pick out and purchase a new wrangler unlimited. When we arrived We were immediately greeted by a salesman, I said we had spoken with Brad and he went to inform him of our arrival. Brad was tied up with another customer so the friendly ladies at the front desk called for an available sales rep,Within five minutes we were greeted by Randall Clark. Randall was very helpful and made sure we were totally satisfied with our experience at Hendricks. I would also like to thank Tonya, Randall's sales manager for being very proactive in our experience as wellAs a sales and marketing rep and one time car salesman I understand what true customer service is.Hendricks met those expectations and we drove home in our new wrangler unlimited.

I have always loved Jeeps ever since I was a kid, when I was old enough to start driving I had a 96' Cherokee that has been in the family prior and I was thrilled to own a piece of history. In 2010, I fell in love with a 2-door Red Rock Wrangler and loved every moment I had it. In 2014, I had the "bug bite" me for a Unlimited. My wife and I have been discussing it for a while and now our goal has finally been achieved! We will slowly start adding some things we have in mind for it. With my short story said, I can't think Chase Hamer enough for the hard work he has done to get us in our new Jeep! The service over-all was excellent! I was very impressed on how helpful and nice the Hendrick team was to us! The one thing that really made my wife and I feel great about making this decision was the communication through the process of looking around and to eventually making a deal! PLEASE read this review! We drove by Hendrick Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep on Montgomery Hwy in Hoover, Al just a few minutes PAST the end of a rainy Sunday. Ms. Santrail Thornton was walking out the back door of the dealership ready to see her family after working all day on a Sunday. She approached us and convinced us that she really wanted to help us regardless of time etc. We had little to no time but knew what we wanted based on research ads. Credit was only fair and we were up front telling them it would take some work because we wanted to keep our payments in the LOW $300 range. Not only did Santrail stay and give us professional well informed feedback about options, take down detailed info about our specific circumstances, parameters (financial and model choice) but also took us back in the dealership where the entire staff left in house stayed open to answer our questions. Being honest, we shared that the Jeep was our second choice and not our first. With that knowledge the team of Santrail Thornton, Tonya Tatuman and Chris Cornelius stayed in touch us in a professional (not pushy or self serving) and honestly respected us enough to understand our jobs and time constraints kept us from coming back in for a day or two. Thus, they respected our word and worked over the phone with us nailing down options and choices including price. We did get our first choice but wanted to take the time to say what an excellent experience this 3 person Hendrick team provided for us. I usually look at the vehicle shopping experience in a similar light as a colonoscopy. I have purchased over 20 vehicles in my life and I can say without reservation that my experience in purchasing a 2014 Grand Cherokee for my daughter from Hendricks-Hoover, Alabama was by far my best. I initially contacted four different Jeep dealers in an effort to locate the desired vehicle and begin the negotiation process. I quickly realized that Cameron Mann and the rest of his coworkers were the team most interested in meeting my daughter's and my needs and expectations. I never felt pressured and frankly THE HENDRICKS TEAM seemed to always find a way to say "yes" to every request I made; from presenting the requested jeep to drive, delivering the requested options, offering a fair price on our trade-in, negotiating the final price and financing and doing so in a professional, courteous, no-pressure manner. Further more, Cameron made sure I met the rest of his team members, Boomer Browning, Tonya Tatum, and Steven Harris; each taking the same sincere interest as Cameron displayed. I purchased a new Dodge Challenger in April 2014 from this dealership. I received a great price for my trade and discount off my new purchase. They have a big selection with a second car lot of stored vehicles, not on their main lot. I received a warm greeting, was treated courteously and the entire staff was professional. This service dept could not be more mis-managed if there was a plan in place to do so. I can't even write the litany of issues only to waste time for you reading this. These guys are out of a book on How Not to Run Your Business. Any business. Poor service, pricing and workmanship coupled with a feeling of having to guard your wallet does not breed trust. I would Never buy a car through this dealer, even if it is the only Dealer in town. I hope for the sake of the caring employees that the management of this service center is retrained or replaced. Amazing this is still happeing all these years and failed dealerships ago.

Donald & Antonio sold me a vehicle about six months ago. I had a few problems/questions, needed mobility papers signed, etc., and Donald did not hesitate to assist me when I just showed up at the dealership, very upset on one occasion. My Jeep did not have a CD player. Of course he told me this when I purchased the vehicle, but I forgot when a month or two later I wanted to play a CD and could not find the player. He went the extra mile and told me he would put my "oldies" on a MP3 player for me. He even knew what I wanted to hear, which surprised me because he is a much younger man, I'm 69.This time I called and requested both of them because I trusted them and they took excellent care of me before, doing, and after the sale. I was told they were no worked there. So I explained to the person on the phone I wanted to purchase a van. When I showed up for my appointment the next day, Donald was outside. I was very happy to see him and he knew me too. I felt relieved because I knew he was going to find what I wanted with all the features I needed. And he did! Not only did he locate the van with the features I needed, he explained the paperwork before I signed so I knew my terms. He went the extra mile in getting the lift off the back of the Jeep I was trading in so I would not have to come back later to pick up me new van. Before I left the lot, he demonstrated, "how to", on every feature, i.e. clock, radio, wipers, blinkers, seat adjustment and let down, etc. Everything! I left feeling like I "know" this van and did not have to learn about it or figure it out when I need to use a feature. Donald is MY salesman for life. Anytime I want to purchase a vehicle, I will be looking for Donald. He's a top notch salesman with very much integrity, honesty, trustworthiness and professionalism. I would not hestitate to recommend him to my family and friends

Robert Hooks is hands down the best car salesman I have met. He is Professional great customer service skills. He keeps you informed during the process with finance manager. He is not pushy, he works for you the customer, he goes above and beyond for you to ensure you are happy. Most important to me he didnt question/criticize blemishes on my credit report. Have been given the run around several times about my car and the issues im having which is getting worse. I was told they only have 1 transmission tech and 6-7 cars waiting for work but my car was just in there 2 weeks ago or so for the same issue and they told me it was just a fluke and nothing was wrong but my car is getting to a point now where its jerking so bad i cant drive it and check engine light keeps coming on and and off every week. This was my first experience with this company and I am very angry at how I have been treated in service. Also to mention one of the service advisors put me on hold while I was talking and then came back to the phone and said "yea" acting as if he heard everything I said.. Very rude and unprofessional ..

Came car shopping one afternoon just to look and ended up ordering a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. This was, by far, the best car buying experience of my life! As soon as I walked in, I was contacted by sales consultant Brad Horton. He immediately struck me as being personable and genuine. We visited on a cold, rainy day, and Brad went out of his way to maximize our shopping experience, while minimizing our discomfort. He even sometimes went and brought cars to us, while we waited in the warmth of the showroom. Despite his apparent youth, he wowed us with his level of professionalism and his knowledge of the models he showed us, and the comparisons between them and those of competing brands. He showed great patience with us and answered all of our questions. We were at the dealership for several hours, and Brad stuck with us all the way. He is truly an impressive young man! Everyone we encountered was very friendly and courteous, and made us feel at home. We even had a nice sit-down visit with General Manager Joel Smith. We enjoyed coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks, which kept us warm after being out in the blustery weather. Ultimately, the level of service that we received resulted in us obtaining not one, but two new vehicles: a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country for my wife, and a 2014 Jeep Compass for me. Brad even delivered them to us at our home the next day! Our son was thrilled, remarking that we were getting "silver and gold". The positive experience has continued through follow-up calls and e-mails to ensure our satisfaction. Even the Service Department (tire pressure checks and complimentary nail-in-tire repair) has treated us like family. We have never been more pleased with a car shopping venture, or the cars we bought. But mostly, the treatment we received from Brad and the other team members at Hendrick was what won us over. My salesman, Brad, immediately figured out the kind of car I was interested in. He got me to test drive a new Challenger, Camaro and Mustang each with comparable levels of trim and with similar features. Brad knew the ins and outs of all of the vehicles including not only strong points but the weaker points as well. I can't say enough about Hendrick Auto in Hoover, Al. Robert Hooks was my salesperson and he was absolutely wonderful. He was very helpful and knew exactly what he was talking about when it came to buying a vehicle. When I walked into the dealership he asked me could he help me and I said sure I'm looking to buy a vehicle today and he said let's see what we can do. I was really was nervous because I was looking for a luxury car and I really didn't see one that I was interested in so he said what do you think about this Volkswagon CC 2013 Turbo edition and I said I don't know let's see, so when I went to look at the car I was stunned the car was absolutely gorgeous, I was so excited. I filled out the application and he took it to John Porter his finance manager and he said I was approved. This was the happiest day of my life. This was our first car buying experience (my boyfriend and I). We had looked at Wranglers at several dealerships in our area but we never really got the answers we needed from any of the sales staff. We always left more confused than when we walked in. We stopped by Hendrick on a whim one afternoon to check out the inventory. We were promptly greeted as soon as we arrived and a sales associate (Brad) was quickly out in the lot with us. Brad knew the Wranglers inside and out. It was like talking to the CEO of Jeep. We could instantly tell that he truly loved his job and took pride in being a master of his craft. I personally HATE when sales staff follow you around like lost puppies waiting for you to ask a question. Brad hung around to make sure we were taken care of but gave us the space we needed to not feel smothered. He knew most of the questions we were going to have and was eager to help us. He explained all the trim options, which models were created for street use, and gave us great insight on why Wranglers have such a high resale value. It was truly a breath of fresh air to actually understand the vehicle we were buying. He never came off as wanting to 'sell us' so we never felt pressured. He even showed us some models he knew we would hate just to get a good laugh. We returned the next day to look at our top choices and see a few others. Brad happily let us test drive another Jeep and again explained the model differences. He even gave us some insight on which models were more likely to be discounted during final negotiations to help us get within our budget. We finally chose the Wrangler we wanted and got a really good price (in my opinion). My boyfriend works in the U.S. and the staff at Hendrick was more than accommodating to any and all questions we had about payments/financing. All contracts/paperwork were thoroughly explained with expertise. I really feel confident about our purchase. As weird as it may sound, I actually had a fun time buying a car. We spent 10+ hours with the staff at Hendrick and they kept us smiling throughout the whole process. I would definitely suggest this dealership to friends & family. And if we ever need a Jeep again, I'll give them a call.

Purchased vehicle from Hendrick, Chrystler, Dodge and Jeep in Birmingham, AL on 10.24.2013. On November 1 I had it back in the shop to them for breaks, minor alignment and clicking in break peddle. Fixed same day. Next day driving ABS light comes on and break heats up and smells. Drove for a week back to shop on 19th returned vehicle on 27th again problems with breaks. On 12.09.2013 vehicle has to be towed back to dealership because the back driver wheel froze. The police officers who assisted me and tow driver said I was lucky I didn't roll the vehicle. I hurt both my wrist when I heard the loud snap and vehicle started shaking. Now they are telling me it was the emergency break or e break and it has nothing to do with the break system (???) it's going to be there until 12.13.2013 or more to get it fixed. I gave them $2000 down originally and have told them I am afraid for my life to drive that vehicle any more. I told them I wanted another vehicle but They are telling me I have to take it back after fixing it or they will start charging me storage fees. They're also telling me that I can purchase another vehicle but need more money down because the finance company is requesting it not them or they can see about manufacture rebates but my payment will go up. I just made my first payment of 439.00 to the finance company. She says I declined the extended warranty (honestly don't remember be asked about it) and that the warrant of 3,000 has expired on the Rav4.

I went into purchase the 2013 Chrysler Town and Country Touring and am pleased with the way the sales person spoke to us. I'd say that the dealership never pressurizes you nor they play any kind of tricks to add $$ amounts. We were able to negotiate the price and they are very reasonable in terms of explaining the value being offered on the vehicle. Unfortunately, my wife didn't prefer the model well because of third row seating but I would recommend the dealer for anyone to purchase the best deal in town. They were able to do price matching with the quotes we had in hand.

I was unhappy with them. It was like pulling teeth trying to get assistance. Then after finally getting somebody to assist me we were unable to reach an agrement. I decided to sell someware else & buy from them so I asked them if they could pick me up down the street if I sold my truck (before I sold it & was left without wheels) they said they would. I called them after I sold it & they never came. All together I waited for about 2hrs on them not to mention I did contact them prior to going to another place to sell. I did speak to tanya the gm & she said they will work on it.

I used an Internet car finder service that listed Hendrick as the closest dealer participating in their network. I contacted the dealer for a price quote on the Ram truck I was interested in. I was contacted back by a very nice gentleman named Logan. He corresponded via email and phone with me and we had a price negotiated on a truck selected from their website that had the options I desired. I told Logan I was interested in leasing the truck, gave him my trade information, and what payment range I'd like to be in. Logan said he discussed the deal with his boss, Boomer, who said they would be willing to do the deal I wanted. I drove over two hours to the dealer and upon arrival I was greeted by the receptionist. I asked to speak with Logan, but was told to wait. I was put with another sales associate who had no knowledge of my deal and had not been involved with the process. She was very nice, but we had to begin the process from scratch even thought I told her repeatedly that Logan had all of my information and I'd been communicating with him all day by email and phone. I even showed her the emails. The dealership was fairly busy, so I remained patient and followed the process. We test drove the truck I wanted and it was acceptable. I provided my keys so my trade could be evaluated.After waiting a long period of time, Boomer Browning introduced himself to me. He told me that he ran the numbers (which had supposedly already been done before I drove down) and quote me a monthly lease payment $200/mo higher than I was told before driving down. Once I mentioned to him that I'd worked with Logan and already had all the numbers worked out via an Internet buying service, he said, "Oh, well let me get those numbers". Boomer returned and gave me a quote for a payment that was about $175/mo higher than the payment I'd agreed to before making the two hour drive down. At this point, I knew I'd been baited. I told Boomer I was disappointed that they were not honoring the deal they had made, that I had in writing via email, and I would like my key returned so I could leave. He continued trying to sell me the vehicle and asked me, "If we can get to your payment would you buy the truck?". I told him I was a man of my word and I expected him to be a man of his word. He disappeared and came back a few minutes later telling me there was no way to get my payment in the truck I wanted but would I be interested in another truck. I told him I'd consider it, and picked another truck. After testing driving and agreeing on a truck, the numbers game continued...still WAY above my desired range. Finally I got my key back and left. I ended up buying a truck from another dealer with more features than the one I intended to by from Hendrick for a monthly payment in my desired range, confirming that I was being duped at Hendrick.

I went to Hendrick to purchase a car. I knew what my credit score was & I knew I had some bargaining room due to that. I filled out ONE credit application & the next thing I knew they had pulled my credit no less than EIGHT times claiming there were trying to find me the best deal. I immediately got up and walked out, I am not dealing with a company that does business like that. A few days later I went to another dealer in town they pulled my report once & said that my score had been impacted by Hendrick but I was still able to get a good deal. I bought my Jeep from them & was very happy with the other dealer. There has been a recall on my Jeep so I called my dealer to see if I could come in on Saturday to do it & unfortunately the guy that handles the recalls only works once a month on Saturdays so I was stuck going to Hendrick. The service department is just as bad if not worse. I made an appointment (I was told to come in between 9 & 10) and I showed up at 9:15. NO ONE that works in the service department seems to know what is going on as there is ZERO organization. I stood outside for 10 minutes waiting on someone to help me and finally I spoke up & asked someone just standing around if he worked in service. He did not but he said would find someone that does another 10 minutes goes by & FINALLY someone in service helps me. I was told it would take no more 30 minutes to do (its 9:35 by then). 30 mins comes & goes and at 10:30 I was finally ready to leave. I get in my vehicle & a quarter of my gas is gone & my MPG has dropped tremendously too. I WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT ON THAT PROPERTY AGAIN. BE WARNED THEY ARE BAD.

I called to verify that the model I wanted to purchase which was listed on the internet was still on the lot. I was told yes we have it and set up an appointment for the same day. I also got a follow up call from a manager who also reassured me this car was there. I drove 2 hours to the dealership. When I got there I was made to sit and wait - even though I had an appointment. Then it took 4 people and one hour later to figure out the car I called about was not even there and had already been sold earlier in the week. Sales reps were using inappropriate language.

My experience started as soon as I walked through the door. Very friendly helpful staff without being overbearing or smothering ! Brad my salesman was amazing and somehow knew exactly what I was looking for ! He took care of me every step of the way! I am not a huge fan of car shopping but, if I ever need a new car I know where I am going !!! It was a great experience !!! I'm not even going to get too deep into why I am so disgusted with these guys at Hendrick, all I'll say is that you guys absolutely suck. Why call a customer to have them fax you information, only to never call them back. Don't tell me that you're going to give me a call right back, then you never do. If you guys don't want CERTAIN PEOPLE there as customers, then just say so. I swear, the dealerships and salespeople in this state are so pathetic and incompetent. It's no surprise though. My wife and I started out just comparing trucks for a "what if" scenario. Brad Horton was our primary sales person and was very knowledgeable about the trucks on the lot. We took several for a test drive and narrowed down our options. Since we wanted a 4x4 the selection was limited, but we gave him the listing of what we wanted in a truck and he found several that could be brought in within two days. This is where the dealership really came into its own. We found that there were a few 4x4s on their lot that were one step higher and roughly the same price. Doug, the sales manager, said he had no problem dealing on the trucks already on the lot. We discussed options and worked out a price that would work for my financing. This should also put it in perspective how we feel about this dealer. While I was working on the truck my wife found a Jeep that she liked. Once again Brad and Doug stepped up and made our financing work for her and she loves her new ride. I need to mention the vehicle condition as well. First off they were new so as expected in pristine condition. What I am talking about is the extras that this dealer installs. All of their vehicles come with K&N air filters (lifetime cleaning and oiling), window tint, 3M door edge guards, and several other items that I can't remember at the moment. They do charge you for them, but I checked the charges and they are very close to actual price. No markup. They are very nice touches to have. That brings me to customer service. The only reason I rated "Quality of Work" a 4 is because her Jeep had some bubbles in the window tint and the 3M door guard started to peel off. We called Brad and he made an appointment to have it redone. He brought a loaner vehicle to her work and swapped them out so it didn't inconvenience her. I think you get the idea that we are very happy with this dealer. We have stopped in several times since to have small things taken care of (top off tire with nitrogen, another perk they install) and there has never been any delay or fuss. My recommendation for buying a vehicle is always do your research and test drive everything you can. Then, if you start leaning towards a Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, or Jeep stop by and see what the sales team can do for you. They did right by us.

Contacted this dealer because of their connection to the buying service from Costco. The sales person did not listen to what I wanted and gave me a great price on a 2012 model instead of the 2013 I had requested. Although the sales person was very nice and apologetic, the sales manager was very condescending and rude. This was the second time I have walked out of that dealership very disappointed with the attitude of its staff. I would be very careful of the "deals" they give you. I have been told this by several people. They really wasted my time. Try the Jeep place down the road.

Advertise one price call you back with another. I've been loking for this particular truck for some time. I'm working out of town and will be in for the holidays. Saw it on line called and was willing to pay the advertised internet price. Recieved a call two days before leaving and they adjusted the price up 3000.00. I don't have time to deal with people like this.
