Before I went to Porsche of Boston, I shopped other dealers and got the usual bartering back and forth.I knew what I wanted so I went on line and found that a car similar to one I had looked at, was available at Porsche Boston. I did an inquiry and Noah responded within minutes by phone and agreed to have 2 cars brought up to be driven later that day. When I arrived, I was introduced to Chris Brustas, and drove the car and then we sat down to talk price and trade, lease vs. buy, I got more for my trade and a better price and no pressure when I decided to take the prices home to review. Next day , I called up and bought the car. Easiest experience buying a car and I would definitely recommend this dealership even over other Herb Chambers Dealerships.Donna

Amir is a consummate sales professional. He thoroughly explained the differences between the 911's and doses not try to oversell. The test drives and sitting in a variety of vehicles were encouraged and informative. The negotiating was rather quick and painless. They were very reasonable on sales price of new vehicle and offer on trade in. Amir has also been very responsive on follow questions after the purchase. He was so easy to work with that I had him keep a look out for a particular Cayenne and when it came in he called me immediately to offer a test drive. The vehicle is now in my garage. Thanks again Amir!

Recently purchased a pre-owned BMW X5 from Herb Chambers Porsche of Boston. Initially found the car online and came in the next morning to have a closer look at the car. My salesperson was Rolando Wallace. We had an excellent buying experience from him. He was very friendly and honest, always has a cheerful smile when you see him. Even though it wasn't a Porsche, Rolando was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and the previous owner's history. Rolando was always prompt with returning messages and answering any questions we had. While browsing around the dealership, there were noticeably several new cars with signs sold by Rolando. He usually seem very busy but never hesitate to take the time out to help his customers with their needs and make sure that you are treated well while you are there. Rolando got all the paperwork, trade-in, and finance done in just about 3-4 hours so that we could drive our new car home the same day. I would highly recommend Rolando to all my friends, family, and anyone looking to buy a new Porsche. I wish more of my car buying experiences were like this. Thanks Rolando!

I went to herb chambers Porsche of Boston to look at cayenne SUV. I met Fahad Arshad (GM sales). I have to tell you, this guy was awesome. He was very open in answering my question. Nothing to hide, he told me all difference a bmw driver will feel when he goes for Porsche. What technology is not in Porsche and what is there in Porsche which is not in bmw( i have bmw x5). He also consulted his technician to answer question related to engine etc. i was not very sure to go with Porsche but my interaction with him made me feel like i should go with Porsche. I should say sales person like fahad can bring a big change in car dealership, all in positive way. I wish him and his team good luck.

Over the past 8 years I've purchased 3 pre-owned Porsche's from Herb Chambers Porsche of Boston. All 3 experiences have been excellent. The dealership is well run, the process simple and the staff are courteous and hard working.My last 2 cars were purchased while working with Amir, who is a great salesman and repeatedly followed up on questions I had about the car I was purchasing, in one case texting me information he had researched in the evening, well after the dealership had closed!I would highly recommend Chambers Porsche, they treat their customers well both during and after a sale is made, and that's why I've come back repeatedly when I was in the market to purchase a car.

Alexander Haynes is by far one of the best dealers I have interacted with over the last 5 years in my car buying experience. He is professional in every stage of the sales process from introductions to follow ups. I am the second owner of a 6 speed manual, 2010 GT3 via Rick Scourtas at Herb Chambers Porsche of Boston. I looked for a manual GT3 for much of last Fall and could now not be happier with the carbon interior and ceramic brakes, etc. I ended up with. Ricks knowledge of these cars given his factory racing career is incredibly deep and I do not think he could be more helpful. Porsche of Boston is just great.

Thank you to RaceTrack Rick Scourtas and Herb Chambers Porsche of Boston for the invitation to the Atlanta Porsche Experience Center. I was given the VIP treatment. The sunny morning began with a short overview of the speed yellow GT3 I would drive then brief sessions on the kick plate, skid pad and low friction coarse. Most of the 90 minutes was spent on the road course or outer ring as it is referred to. The composure and speed of the GT3 has often been written about but to experience it first hand was serious adrenaline. The only limit was my ability.If asked the Porsche Experience Center driving coach will take the wheel for the final couple of lapses which he did and boy did we move Given Ricks long history as a Porsche factory driver the only thing better would have been a few lapse with Rick at the wheel. All in all, a great time.

I inquired about a Macan online and Rolando Wallace followed up with me within minutes via email. I actually purchased a car at a different dealership closer to home as I didn't want to drive into the city. The experience at the other dealership was less than stellar and I cancelled the sale. As a result of Rolando's diligent follow up, I purchased a car over the phone including assessing my trade and picked the car up a couple days later. Simple, seamless and quick as my time (just like everyone else's) is very limited. Rolando was easy to work with and listened to what I was looking for, did a thorough delivery of the vehicle and has since followed up to see how I'm doing with the car. If you are looking for a Porsche, shop around but buy from Herb Chambers. Fair price and easy to do business-the experience was actually a pleasant one which is usually not the case when buying a car. Ask for Rolando!

I work from home, so it is great to be able to schedule an appointment during the day and not interrupt my work scheduled-- they have a great waiting room area, and even have cubicles to work in, with free wireless. I am able to set up my laptop and get work done as my car is being worked on. Also, I just recently got a puppy and was able to bring him in as well while I waited. The staff was great about him and very welcoming. They offered him treats (Kevin Bugbee) and no one had an issue with him laying on the floor with his toys. Also, the staff is always so nice!

Ian Miller and his staff made my recent purchase of a Certified Pre-Owned 2013 Panamera GTS easy and fun. Not only did they offer a rare and very desirable model and combination of options at a fair price, but were very accommodating on the trade-in and the rest of the transaction. My husband and I went in yesterday to buy a used Cayenne, and had a great experience from start to finish. Before we had even gotten there my husband had corresponded with Bernard and Ian and they were very responsive over email. I purchased my Cayenne from HC Porsche of Boston and was due to the first service. Scheduling of the appointment was very easy and didn't have to wait long for availability. Was met by very friendly valet staff on arrival and Davit (service advisor) was waiting for me and was pleasantly surprised when he remembered me from the time I purchased the vehicle (months ago).I waited for my car and Davit stopped by a couple of times to update me on the progress. The waiting area is pretty comfortable and clean. I also was able to check out the new Porsche Turbo S that recently arrived and was in the show room. While looking around, Ian Miller, the new GM, stopped by to say hello. Ian and Melissa next door at HC BMW are the only two dealers that I have ever experienced having the GM take a personal interest in their customers. My 2009 Porsche Cayenne was showing the Check Engine light on the instrument panel. It would appear and then not appear over a period of about six ( 6) weeks this past winter.I called Davit Petrosyan, the Assistant Service Manager, with whom I had the pleasure of dealing with in the past, and he wasted no time in scheduling a visit for me to bring the the car in and have Jim, one of the techinicians work on the vehicle to try to address the reason for the Check Engine light. Davit, in order to try to save me money, tried to address the issue by having the purge valve and sensor replaced and the fuel injection system cleaned. Unfortunately, the Check Engine light came back on. During this service, Davit provided me with a loaner Porsche at no charge. Because the Check Engine light returned, Davit had me bring the vehicle back, and Jim, the technician who had been working on the vehicle, determined that I needed a new high pressure fuel pump after testing my vehicle with a high pressure fuel pump from another Cayenne. Again, Davit provided me with another loaner vehicle at no charge.Davit not only has the best interests of the company as a priority but also the best interest of a customer who has had a five year plus relationship with this dealership. Davit Petrosyan and the technicians, Jim and Mika, are the reasons why I have used this dealership for service and maintenance.In closing, Mr. Herb Chambers is fortunate to have these people, particularly Davit Petrosyan, working for his company.Sincerely,Petah D. I purchased a 2013 Porsche 911 Turbo Cab used and Porsche Certified with 4500 miles on it. The negotiating process was okay but with slow response times from sales people. As I was buying this 100K plus vehicle sight unseen I inquired telephonically and via email as to it's condition and was assured it was "showroom ready and only needed detailing". When it was delivered (at 9:30 at night) the car was covered with deep rain spotting and bird droppings. I had paid for a covered carrier so this was unexpected and unacceptable. I also found several deep scratches on the bumper which were not disclosed to me by the dealership. I was also only given one key for the vehicle when the purchase agreement clearly stated two keys as part of the purchase. I contacted Ian Miller the General Manager for Herb Chambers Porsche of Boston and brought all the above to his attention. I purchased a 2013 Porsche 911 Turbo Cab used and Porsche Certified with 4500 miles on it. The negotiating process was okay but with slow response times from sales people. As I was buying this 100K plus vehicle sight unseen I inquired telephonically and via email as to it's condition and was assured it was "showroom ready and only needed detailing". When it was delivered (at 9:30 at night) the car was covered with deep rain spotting and bird droppings. I had paid for a covered carrier so this was unexpected and unacceptable. I also found several deep scratches on the bumper which were not disclosed to me by the dealership. I was also only given one key for the vehicle when the purchase agreement clearly stated two keys as part of the purchase. I contacted Ian Miller the General Manager for Herb Chambers Porsche of Boston and brought all the above to his attention. There is no better place to purchase a Porsche in the USA then Herb Chambers Porsche of Boston! I have been looking at purchasing a new sports car for years now. I think I still have my name on the list for the new Jag F Type coupe but thats history now. As a Canadian I was looking for a 911 I could drive when at my home in Miami. After contacting 4 Porsche dealers, 2 in the Miami area, one in Tampa, and Herb Chambers I ended up purchasing there. The experience was superb, very professional, but they simply wanted my business. I will keep this review short as it is my second purchase here in the last few months, that should say enough about the overall buying experience.Special Thanks again to Larry Bakke, Ian Miller, and Shauni. Another excellent sales experience. As for the Cayenne diesel, can't say enough about this vehicle, the way it drives is like no other SUV I have driven. It is hard to even notice this is a diesel except when you step on the gas and notice how much torque this vehicle has, it makes it feel lighter than it is when starting off the car from a stop. As for mpg, it isn't unusual to get 30+ mpg per trip in this vehicle!

My wife and I have been customers of Herb Chambers franchises for more than 15 years and have purchased at least a dozen new vehicles during that time. We continue to stay loyal to his brand and that has translated into some unique and rewarding experiences.A few months ago I purchased a new vehicle with HC MB of Natick. Ian Miller was the Sales Manager and was the determining factor for my decision to purchase a vehicle from him. His transparency and professionalism made the final transaction a pleasure.Recently, I was looking to replace my other vehicle that was coming off lease. Although I have always wanted a Porsche Cayenne Diesel, my past attempts of buying one weren't successful. With Ian and Larry Bakke's help, I was able to purchase a new Cayenne Diesel with terms of the purchase that were more than fair. Their professionalism and ease of working with myself and my family (they were included in picking it out) was a real pleasure. Even after the purchase, my daughter and I have visited Ian and the staff a couple of times to say hello and take advantage to the ice cream chest they keep in the showroom! Hopefully she won't grow up thinking that her first car is going to be a Porsche :) I highly recommend you visit Herb Chambers Porsche if you are in the market for one of these incredible vehicles. I can't comment or compare on how this dealer was in the past, but now that Ian is at the helm, the dealership is in good hands and worth a visit.

My battery died on my Porsche over the winter after charging it in the spring , I took it out for the first ride and the radio did not work all it said was CODE. I called herbchambers Porsche and talked to Raymond or Ramon in service. He walked me through the process of retrieving my radio serial number. 5 minutes later he had a code number for me and my radio was back in action. Couldn't b happier thanks for all the help! This was all done over the phone by the way.

The reasons why I had such a fovarable experience at Herb Chambers Porsche is because of the very knowledgeable salesman and very capable GM. The experience was first rate. Although I went in looking for a specific exterior and interior color for a new 911, I drove away with totally different colors thanks to the GM describing how he ordered that specific combination. Support staff and Service Manager gave great advice while I was waiting for delivery. And, the new coffee machine near the waiting lounge makes a variety of delicious coffees.

Rick Scourtas is an excellent GM at this dealership. He understands what the customer needs and there is no "car salesman" bad experience. He gives the best he can and then makes it clear that is it. I haven't owned a Porsche in many years and walked into Herb Chambers Porsche on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston.I bumped into a guy named "racetrack rick" who got me so excited about driving a new Porsche 911 that I had to go on a test drive. His attention to detail, product knowledge, and overall honesty are beyond reproach.Everything is about making the customer happy with their purchase. My car had a minor problem with a clear mask and Michael made sure that it was taken care of to my satisfaction-no questions asked.It is very apparent that his attention to customer satisfaction is cast over the entire dealership in Boston, as not only all his salesmen, but the parts and service departments are very receptive and accommodating. At the first i went to herb chamber to find the car i found on the internet. My sales man was not Mark and Michael, that guy did not satisfied me and he was so unpolited to me. And i talk to Mark to be my salesman, he is the best salesman who did really care about the customers.I went herb chamber over 10 times and always very very kind to me and my friends. I went to the dealership to get a service repair done and as always, I had the best experience.It was my first time getting serviced with Nima, and he was very informative and professional. He not only does he job promptly but is very willing to answer any questions.Further, although my business was specifically with the service department, Michael was willing to assist in any way he could. He really understands how to take care of his customers by taking that "one more step." He is one of the most professional personnel I have ever met working in this industry, and his welcoming hospitality is never disappointing.Michael and his associates have a special way of making their customers feel like a family, and I highly recommend their service.

This past November I was able to purchase my first Porsche Carrera. It is a 2006 C4 with 5000 miles on it. The buying process started off very well, I test drove it with Tim and negotiated the final deal with Michael. Five days after we signed the paperwork, Bank of America still had not sent the money. I called Michael on his personal cellphone and he said he would figure it out. Even though it was Bank of America's fault he immediately stepped in to remedy the situation. My next experience was with the winter wheels and tires. Michael admitted the techs knew far more than him, any questions I had feel free to ask. That is when I met Steve Harrison. Steve is really one of kind and a tremendous asset to Herb Chambers. Before the Porsche I got rid of a BMW due to poor service, so it is something I care a lot about. Steve spent over an hour answering all my questions about wheels, offsets, spacers and tires. He was already working late but he was willing to patiently help a newbie. If I ever need work done, I really hope Steve's schedule is free to work on my car, the guy is awesome. When it came to purchasing the wheels, Jon Egan searched to the end of the world to find me the same wheels and tires that I have now; finding a winter set up in December is not an easy task. After several weeks, he had them shipped from Georgia, Jon was extremely responsive and kept his word from beginning to end. Most recently I had a batter trouble. I called Michael and he had me speak with Nima. It is important to note anyone who may have had a poor experience with service, Nima is now in charge and this is a huge difference. I drove down from NH and he stayed late to make sure the battery was replaced.I would recommend this team to any of my friends and colleagues looking to purchase a Porsche. It is a big decision for anyone. Michael and his team remove all BS and sleaziness I have experienced at other places, they are stand up guys and I look forward to dealing with them in the future.

The service center at this dealership is honestly the best with which I have ever dealt. They are so accomidating and helpful in every way. I dealt directly with Adam (Steve was the tech.) on an issue with my Cayman S. For some reason, after I purchased it, there seemed to be a drop in power. My friends thought I was nuts, but when I brought to Adam, he and his techs stopped at nothing to find the issue. And guess what? They figured it out! I have to tell you, if more dealers provided the quality of service that this place does, we would all be thrilled to take our cars in just for the overall pleasant experience! Forget all the other Porsche/BMW dealerships on the Boston area. Just save yourself the headache and bring your car here...to Adam!

I am giving a 5 star rating because I am completely happy with my decision to go with Herb Chambers Porsche Boston. I searched all over the U.S. (from California to Texas to Boston) for a 2011 Porsche Cayenne, and Herb Chambers Boston was unbeatable! I worked with Mark Webber and he was very kind and patient throughout the ordering process. They know how to professionally deal with fastidious clientele and will hold your hand, if needed, through the entire process. Most importantly there was NO pushing to upgrade or 'add- on' unwanted bells and whistles! Being a woman, it made a huge difference to be treated with respect and not feel that I was outnumbered or 'being taken for a ride.' Mark listened to exactly what I wanted/needed, and did not pressure me into anything. Once receiving my Cayenne, the staff welcomed me to take advantage of their onsite, complimentary car wash service, in order to help maintain my new purchase. I must say, I had the best sales experience ever!On August 30th, I visited the dealership located on Commonwealth Ave, Boston. I was shopping for a car, but had absolutely no idea what brand or type of car I wanted. I had started looking at cars from Panameras to Boxters to Cayennes, when Tim came over and asked me if I needed any assistance. I told Tim that I did not know exactly what I was looking for, and he kindly showed me several cars and explained the characteristics of each car. He was very informative, with a sense of humor, and after we finished looking at cars, he introduced me to Michael Fernandes, the General Manager. Michael was very helpful, providing me with detailed information about each car and suggesting which cars would fit my lifestyle and needs the most. Furthermore, his high-spirit and professionalism was hard to miss.During the next three weeks following my initial visit, I visited the Porsche dealership six more times before purchasing a 2011 Cayenne S. I never made an appointment, but every single time I stopped by the dealership, Michael and Tim were there to happily answer any questions and provide me with any further information I needed. I was a difficult customer. I asked Michael and Tim to show me several cars and once I had decided upon the car I wanted, I demanded the exact color, options, price, and even delivery date of the car. Sometimes, I changed my mind after the visit and called Michael to inform him of the changes, but he did not seem to mind at all- instead he found humor in my decision making process. Each time I asked for something, Michael and Tim sat down with me for long periods of time and strived to find exactly what I wanted. I picked up my new Panamera 4 last Thursday. It was the culmination of my decision to trade in my '06 BMW X5 (also purchased from Herb Chambers)and move to a 4 door sedan with a performance pedigree. The process was lengthy in terms of researching my choices and then even longer in reaching the final appointments for the car. During the entire time line which from first visit to pickup was about 7 months; my salesmen Mike Fernandez was patient, knowledgeable, flexible, professional, and truthful. He guided me towards features an options that would both maximize my enjoyment of the car and represent real value when trading the car for a new one. He accepted my budget, never pushing me to exceed it -- and then recommended the best choices within that fixed number. When the car arrived he was very helpful in determining the final choice: lease vs purchase; and was quick to point out the pluses and minuses of each choice. When the day finally arrived to drive off with my new car, Mark Webber took me on a "tour" of the car explaining in detail the operating features of the car. That process which took nearly an hour is another example of when you buy Chambers product you get a "team" service approach which has built a strong loyalty between Herb Chambers dealerships and myself. (My family has puchased approximately 9 cars from HC dealerships over the past 20 years.) Mike's assistant Krista Tracy provided the final piece of the puzzle carefully reviewing all the financial paperwork associated with the vehicle (in addition to provide some color choice assistance this past summer), and I left totally satisfied with my purchase and my faith in Mike and his team reinvigorated. It goes without saying that there will be another Porsche from Mike in my future. Thank you Herb CHambers.

I have not been impressed with the service department at this dealership in the past, but I recently brought my car in for service and some cosmetic fixes and was really impressed with Adam Jensen, the new Porsche service manager. He totally got the game-Made sure he understood exactly what I wanted, pointed out a couple things I hadn't even noticed and got the job done quickly and perfectly without gouging me on price. He was a pleasure to deal with and a big upgrade from the guy before him. He really adds to the dealership.

I called Michael and went over a couple of optionsAsked for a discount and got one. I have been ordering Porsche's for over ten years and this was the first custom order I didn't Pay sticker. I bought my Porsche Cayman from Michael in March. He and his sales staff have been accessible, attentive, and helpful. On Saturday, August 7, my dash display indicated that I had a flat tire. Although I had the Porsche Roadside Service card, I called Michael to ask for specific guidance, since there is no spare tire. He made the transaction very easy and customer friendly as he always does. Instead of giving me advice, he told me he'd contact the Roadside Assistance people and take care of the tow. The car was in the shop in 2 hours and on Monday, I was shown why the tire was flat and the new tire was on the car, the car cleaned inside and out and then delivered to my husband's office, so he could drive it home. I cannot imagine how this interaction could have been improved. The entire experience was far more than I could or did expect and this is what Michael has delivered since I purchased the Cayman. I live an hour from Herb Chambers Boston, but wouldn't buy a car anywhere else, though there are closer dealers.

I have recently bought a Porsche Carrera S from Herb Chambers in Boston. This is my first Porsche and I haveto admit that it is a great car and the purchase was a very good experience that I would like to describe. I am from Pennsylvania and sinceHerb Chambers Porsche is located near the airport it is very convienent for out of state buyers.I negotiated with the Michael Fernandes (General sales manager and very nice person) on the phone the price for the car that I found on the website. After we agreed I got the sales agreement by fax and sent it back with signature.Then I booked my flight to Boston and was picked up at the airport and brought to the dealership (only 10 min away). The car was exactly in that condition that I expected it to be. Since I did not decide to drive the new car back (I preferred the car to be shipped. They will arrange for the shipping) I had some hours left before my return flight and they drove me with aPorsche Cabrio through Boston and I could do some sightseeing.I decided to let Herb Chambers do the registration of the car in my state.They work with a title agent from PA who did the work.Overall the experience was very good. I got a very good deal on a new Porsche that I could not get from the local dealer. The whole process of buying was smooth and without problems.I definitely recommend Herb Chambers to everyone who is interested in a Porsche and wants to have a great deal and service.

Simply put, I found Michael Fernandes and his team to be knowlegeable, enthusiastic, helpful and reliable. Herb Chambers Porsche, located about an hour's travel from my house, had a low-mileage 911 Targa of interest to me. After arrival (and being told where I could not park), I toured the showroom floor and the outdoor lot for nearly an hour, receiving zero attention from the sales staff. Losing patience, I approached a representative. I indicated my interest and my budget, making it clear that I was educated in the subject matter. After a very short discussion I was dismissed. However, before leaving, I was able to view the vehicle of interest, which was well below the advertised condition. I subsequently overheard the rep describing my interest & my budget to others while laughing. At the time I was a 15-year 911 owner. I had fully researched my target vehicle and the prevailing market conditions over a period of several months. I knew exactly what I wanted, what to avoid, and the range of prices for similar vehicles.I subsequently purchased a very similar car with substantially fewer miles, having a better options package, in substantially better condition from an out-of-state dealer for $10,000 less (and within my budget) than Chambers were asking for their vehicle. Since then this car has been flawless over 30K miles.I have not been back to any Chambers dealership since, despite buying several new models from manufacturers sold by Chambers at dealerships convenient to me. I will never give any Chambers dealership my business except under the most dire circumstances.

This is the 4th Porsche vehicle I have purchased from Mike Fernandez. As one transaction morphs to another, it leads me to understand why he has been promoted to Sales Manager of the Boston Porsche dealership. His trust factor with me is far beyond the above 5 point rating scale and I rely upon his advice, honesty, integrity, opinions, help and interest. While my entire family has purchased 15-20 cars from the various brands owned and managed by Chambers dealerships, Mike Fernandez stands out in my mind amongst its many many fine service driven employees. I have also noticed that as Manager, Mike is active and consistent in trying to instill his same attributes in the staff at the Boston store. In my recent purchase (today), Mike would not let me purchase the car (a brand new model for the dealership) until I had a chance to drive it. I would classify myself as a customer that requires a good deal of assistance in arriving at the right choice, and only when Mike concurs with my conclusions, do I sign the purchase order -- and in 13 months I will be back once again. Thanks Mike, thanks Chambers.

BEST DEALER TO DEAL WITH! Michael is an expert in Porsche and the honest sales manager I've seen in my life; Alan is the best co-pilot in test drives and Krista is the best, period. Bought a 911 Turbo and a Panamera Turbo. I couldn't be happier. Very nice guys, and very knowledgeable. Far better experience than any other dealers I dealt with. I would definetely recommend this dealership to anyone who considers a used or brand new Porsche, especially for their after-sales service, including excellent service department. There is no better place to buy a Porsche.

I am more than 60 years old, my wife and I have had many cars and dealt with many dealers....at least 20 dealers. by far, Herb Chambers Porsche is the best experience I have had, both when purchasing three different cars and having those cars serviced. everything is done in a high quality, zero-defects manner with the ultimate of customer responsiveness and courtesy. i believe the experience with Herb Chambers Porsche is so good is the personal efforts and example set by Michael Fernandez, the manager of the dealership. Michael is available 24/7, anticipates virtually every need and cheerfully attends to any request. frankly, I have never see an auto dealer behave in such a customer-centric manner. I prefer Porsches, but often joke that I would buy any car that was from a dealership run by Mr Fernandez, just to get the excellent service.

I am a returning new car Porsche customer and deal with Michael Fernandes not only for sales but also for service.After wintering in VT, my new Carrera was having electric system issues when I first started it to drive back to Boston. Mike got Porsche roadside assistance to VT and they loaded the car onto a flatbed to bring it back to Herb Chambers' service department. Within 24 hours the car was brought back to Boston, the problem diagnosed (a little mouse), fixed, and the car was brought to my home in Boston. A very good outcome, and the type of service I have come to rely on with this dealership.

I contacted the dealership after finding a car that I liked on the Herb Chambers' Porsche website. Michael (internet sales manager/ general manager) was extremely helpful and offered a competitive price over the phone. That night I drove from CT to Boston to see the car and talk with Micheal. Both Alan and Michael stayed until after closing with me and my wife to review the car and fill out paperwork. A few days later we returned to the dealership to pick up the car, but not until Alan went over the whole car with us. Overall, the entire experience was not only painless but quite enjoyable. I would highly recommend to anyone in the market to purchase a Porsche to visit this dealership.

Excellent experience. No pressure, friendly, knowledgeable, and by far the best prices around. I purchased my first Porsche in 2004 from Michael Fernandes. Over the past 5 years, he has kept in touch and consistently made sure my service appointments went well. In fact, at times, he coordinated my service appointments! Beyond that, he made some calls and helped facilitate purchases of other (not Porsche) cars at different Herb Chambers dealerships! Truly the best customer service around. The sales staff did not pressure me when I made the plunge to trade my '04 for an '09. With the crazy number of options on Porsches, it took a lot of effort to find one which I liked. The price was excellent for both the new car and my trade. The people at Herb Chambers Porsche, in my opinion, make it the great place it is! I could not recommend them more highly.

I have been shopping around for a while at various dealerships around MA and NH for a new Porsche before finally making a purchase at Herb Chambers Porsche.I have had enough bad experiences working with car dealerships, and luckily this is one of the rare opposite.Not only do they have the most comprehensive inventory available in the MA/NH area (yes because Porsche cars come with several hundred different options, and it makes it hard to find one that has the exact items you want), their sales staff has been extremely friendly and helpful. They completed the entire transaction for me extremely quickly and smoothly, and I really didnt need to do much. I made the deposit via a credit card on Thursday night, and I was already driving my brand new car home Friday afternoon.One of the pluses working with Herb Chambers was their after-sales services. I got follow-up calls and e-mails from their sales staff to ensure I have no problems/questions with the new vehicle after delivery. There are car dealerships out there that would hardly return your phone calls after you have given them the check.Herb Chamber Porsche provided me the level of services and personal attention that I expected to find in a dealership that sells higher-end automobiles. Overall, I was very satisfied with my purchasing experience with Herb Chamber Porsche.P.S. I would like to extend special thanks to their sales staff Carey Frasca and Tim OHara for their professional sales services and Michael Fernandes, the General Manager, for giving me a great price!

This is my first time purchasing any car from the organization, and I am overjoyed that I was able to work with the team at Herb Chambers Porsche. Michael Fernandes and his colleagues made the entire experience wonderful. Before I had even committed to any car, he was willing to hear my thoughts and concerns. His no-pressure, friendly demeanor made me feel at ease, and he never pushed me to hurry my decision. In the end, I purchased a car from his current inventory, and the paperwork was done without me having to raise a finger (until I had to pay, of course). I was very particular about how I wanted the car delivered, and they were able to fulfill my requests in a timely manor. I hope to purchase another car from them in the future.

The purpose of my visit was to purchase a new vehicle. After doing some research about the car I was interested in and on the local dealerships I soon found that Herb Chambers Porsche of Boston had the best inventory of the model I was looking for. When I entered the showroom I was greeted very warmly and was not "Handled" in the typical "Sales person" routine. I actually had a pleasant visit which is not typical in dealerships of my experiance. What struck me as a "Bonus" was the fact that other sales people working at the various times I was there, not just the one I was dealing with directly, were willing and happily so, to give a lending hand on questions I might have had, or there spin on certain questions I might have thrown out as "what if" scenarios. This seemed more of a team effort on the dealerships side of things which in my opinion is a big help. Not at anytime did I feel any "pressure" or was I "smoothed" into ordering or getting anything I did not want... No up selling pressure at all. My sales person was very knowledgeable and if there was something she could not answere she would find out for me, none of this hurt ego BS or pretending to know absolutly everything and just giving me any answere to make me happy. I really got the feeling that this was more of a "family" environment than your typical sales floor feel. Now as far as the other Reviews posted on this site on this dealership, I have not run into any of them yet. I have not had my vehicle serviced here yet, which will be extremely important to me. Will let you know thumbs up or down on this. The only "Negative" I can say about the dealership so far is it's location. Parking can be an issue, and getting there not the best situation, for me anyways. It is not your "Standard" PORSCHE Building set up you see all over the State. They have three floors of different dealerships in a very very tight downtown Boston setting. Not my first choice if I wanted ease of location.

I had the worst experience with this dealer. In short, I put down a $3000 deposit in May '07 for a car and found out three months later NOTHING was done about it -- no order was placed with the car manufacturer, paperwork could not be located at the dealer and never mind knowing the status. However the accounting department had no problem verifying that $3000 was received. They must have thought it was a charitable donation.In the three months and over a couple phone calls, I was told that the order was placed and everything about allocation, build schedule, shipping/import lag time, etc. All very interesting stuff if I had wanted to be a car salesman, but I just wanted a car!!!! In my final visit to the dealer, it was "explained' to me that this whole mess could have been avoided if I had pick something from their inventory. Really?! Pardon me for not realizing my fault in this. Un-freakin' believable!!"
