Lisa did a fantastic job working with me on detailing the issue I was having with my vehicle as well as other related concerns. The technician that worked on the car went above and beyond actually correcting a few items I didn't even ask for! That is TRUE professional service, second to none!This is also after another Chevrolet dealer, out-of-area, was not able to determine the nature of the issue and wanted me to spend $1000 on parts that wouldn't have even corrected the issue, not even RELATED to the issue.

Prior to my purchasing my 2016 Equinox LZT I had interacted with 5 other non-Chevrolet dealerships in the Richmond Metropolitan area. I have purchased over 2 dozen vehicles during my life. The professionalism interpersonal skills of Mr. Keith Black exceed all of my previous vehicle-buying experiences. He has an incredible knowledge base about the Equinox and an art for encouraging and facilitating discussion, test driving, and customer questions. I neither felt any pressure to purchase nor impatience with the extended time I spent assessing the Equinox from Mr. Black. I have and will continue to recommend Heritage (especially Mr. Black) to my family members and friends.

This dealership is very old school; no computer generated offers here; expect scribbled numbers that are quickly taken away and then verbally misrepresented. It took days to get to there so called best offer and then credit offer came from their preferred source. Don't waste your time here unless you have at least two days and are will to pay more than you should

While traveling through VA with a car full of kids and trying to beat the impending storms and possible tornados, my worst nightmare came true....my car broke down. I googled the closest dealer and drove straight there with my fingers crossed. I am so grateful that I ended up at Heritage Chevrolet. Jessie O'Neill in the service department quickly got my car taken care of even though they were extremely busy. Their initial inspection uncovered some issues which related to a recent accident and Jessie made sure that I had all the paperwork needed to provide my insurance company when I returned home. They were very professional and I wish they were in my hometown because I would go to them again. They are trustworthy, compassionate, and provide outstanding customer service! You will be in good hands with Jessie at Heritage Chevrolet!

I took my car in to get looked at for having a strong gas smell. After them having my car for just a few hours I received a call stating that my car needed $1600 worth of repair and that I wouldn't find a cheaper price elsewhere. I asked them to hold off the work and I would come get it. I called around and found a cheaper quote. Meanwhile I had one of the sales men call me asking to buy my car and kept insisting I sell it, which I didn't want to do and I told them I would be in at 9am to pick up my vehicle. I arrived at 9am and the lady was very rude and told me my car needed to be put back together and that they needed to do paperwork on it and wouldn't say how long it would be. I drove around the parking lot and saw my car, completely assembled and together parked out back and I waited an hour before going in yet again and had seen the lady I talked to go out in numerous smoke breaks and asked about my car that was still in the same spot. They handed me a bill for $103 which I paid then went down the street to an awesome auto shop that fixed my car for $550, a third of the price Heritage said it would be and one of the parts they claimed was broken was completely fine. I would NEVER go to Heritage again not would I trust a word they say. Worst experience ever!!!

Lennie Pond sold me my 2015 Chevy Sonic. I have known Lennie for a few years and he has always makes me feel right at home when I come into the dealership and he would extend that same courtesy to anyone right off of the street. He really knows exactly how to help a person, no matter what situation, age, or gender they are. He gets right to the point and he lets you take your time when deciding what to do. He doesnt beat around the bush; he gets right to the point. Lennie is such a sweet, kind, and caring person. You tell him what you need/want in a car and he will find it for you! I had convinced myself that the car of my choice was a Tahoe, yes me at 4"11' wanted a Tahoe. Even though my decision was based on emotions and not economically sound, Perry directed me to the greatest choice I could have made. My vehicle, an Equinox provides me everything I need and more. We did not have an appointment or with any salesperson ahead of time. We ended up with Wayne Jones and we had a good experience, as he was knowledgable, pleasant and experienced and answered all of our questions. The visit was laid back and not pushy and everyone we encountered, even if just passing, greeted us and were nice. We purchased a new Equinox.

When my car broke down on 7-20-15, I had the AAA tow truck take my vehicle to Heritage Chevrolet. Granted, I did not call ahead to inquire as to how busy they were, but when I arrived, I was told by Mr. Foster that they would get around to the diagnostic in a few days. Not very specific. I was not even offered an option for a rental or loaner car!!! On 7-22-15, Mr. Foster informed me that it would still be another couple of days before the service department could get around to diagnosing my car's problem. At that time, I directed him to check carefully a specific area of my car, as I had been speaking to other mechanic friends about my problem. A little later that same day, he called back to tell me that the diagnostic had been run and what needed to be done to fix it. Lo and behold, It was pretty darn close to what I had told him it would be!! Per my approval, the repairs were performed, and I proceeded to pick up my vehicle. For some reason, I just always feel like a second-class citizen whenever I am forced to do business with Heritage Chevrolet. The customer service is lacking, The warmth is just not there. It is not a very welcoming environment. Given an option, I would choose to go elsewhere

When I first went in I was a little indecisive but as I gave the saleman more information to what I liked and did not like he was able to find me the perfect car for the right price. I did not feel pressured into the deal and felt like I got a fair price on my trade in and on my car. I am very happy with my purchase and very glad I went to this dealership. Most importantly I am happy that they were able to handle my nevrousness about purchasing a car.

I was not really in the market for a new car. Tyler called me about my 12 Cruze that I purchased from Heritage and was so tenacious I went ahead in to see if I could upgrade my vehicle. They were very upfront about everything and I felt like my interest were priority. I've bought two vehicles from Thomas Searson in the last two years. The first was a used 2006 Hummer H3 and the second was a new 2015 Chevrolet Silverado. Both experiences were great and when I requested that we just do business and expedite the processes, Thomas was up to the task. I got great deals on both vehicles and received significantly higher trade in value than what was listed on Kelly Blue Book. Thomas helped me find the vehicle for me and never pushed "his" vehicles on me. I just wanted to say that Keith Black is a very kind salesman. He made me feel very comfortable and at home, he didn't try to force anything on me when it came to buying my car. He also, made double sure that I was comfortable with the end price, etc. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Originally, I just came in for a service and inspection on my 2013 Camaro . While I waited I took a tour of the lot , looking at the used truck selection. During my tour I came across a salesman , (Alexander Perry), on the lot , he was actually on his way to another vehicle when we stopped to , chit chat. I walked with him to his destination on the lot and while there I asked him about a couple of trucks on the lot . He seemed pleased to help . Very nice and knowledgeable . Alex asked if I wanted to take one for a test drive , I said yes. We took a couple of trucks for a test drive. Well , long story short, I traded my vehicle that was just serviced ( 2013 Camaro ) in on a very nice 2010 4 x 4 Silverado truck. Alexander made the transition very easy, almost effortless . It really didn't take all that long to finish the deal . I think I may have been at the dealership 4 hours , that included the time I spent waiting on service. Great Job Alex !!

I normally would not have considered driving as far as Chester (30 minutes away) to look for a new car, but it was well worth the time. Our salesman, Dario Amato, contacted us by phone, asked what we needed and wanted in a new car, and searched his inventory. He found the perfect vehicle, and the dealership offered it at a very good price. Once we arrived at the dealership, everyone including Dario went out of their way to be helpful, from the finance manager to the business manager. The experience could not have been better.

My family was just starting the process of looking for a 3 row vehicle and thought we should check out the new Tahoe. Luckily we met Tyler, who was real, accommodating, didn't pressure, and paid total attention to our needs. In less than an hour, we had viewed inventory, looked at different options, and test drove...and the entire staff was polite, calming, and it felt like you were the only one that mattered. This place has a great inventory and friendly staff. Most of my online searches lead me here. I was referred to Alex Perry and he did an amazing job. Very friendly, attentive, and let me try out anything on the lot. Highly recommend going to him if you want a low stress approach. Helps that he is a Marine. Only complaint would be a better detail job on the car I purchased. It did come from a sister dealership so not a direct result of this one's work.

On m y first visit to Heritage, about 3-4 weeks ago, I was not on the lot very long when a young gentleman approached me and started asking me questions. At that time, I was basically comparison shopping, but he answered all of my questions and was VERY patient and knowledgeable. Upon my return on May 27th, again Alex came out to assist me. At this point, I knew I wanted a Malibu, so we started talking about what was available and when. Once again, he exceeded my expectations! He is quiet spoken, but very knowledgable and mannerable, something sorely lacking in a lot of young people these days. He gave me all the info I needed to make a final decision, then partnered me up with John (Sales Manager?). John was very thourough in explaining all the paperwork and financing options. Neither John nor Alex were ever "pushy" or overbearing which made dealing with both of them an absolute pleasure. My husband and I went to trade in my car my car in for a new vehicle this past weekend. When we first got there, Wayne took us through the lot and showed us the types of vehicles that we were looking for and was answering the various questions that my husband was asking him and he seemed to know a great deal of information. We test drove a Honda Pilot while getting our current car appraised (loved the Pilot!) When we got back we got the appraisal for my current vehicle and the offer was incredibly low. We explained that we had already gotten a written appraisal offer from Carmax the night before which was much higher. To make a long story short, we ended up selling my current car to Carmax because they were giving us a substantial amount of money over what Heritage was going to give us BUT we still bought the Pilot from this dealership because they gave us a price we couldn't refuse. Overall, our experience was very pleasant and I would absolutely buy another car from Wayne!

I just wish I would have priced 3rd party parts through another parts store rather than paying full price for remanufactured parts. I left my vehicle with the service team for 12 days and spent 3,800 dollars. My vehicle runs just as bad, if not worse, than when I brought it there. I was very persistent with calling and checking to make sure everything was fine since I was dumping so much money into getting my vehicle fixed for a long drive later this summer. I was told that it was ready and that a tech had test drove it. I arrive to see that my SES light is back on, it was off when I brought it there, and the security light was on which I had paid them to fix and my keyless entry wouldn't work. I didn't want to make a scene so I just started to leave and before I could even get to rout 10 my SES light began flashing and the missfire had gotten leagues worse. There is no way that a tech could have drove that car 10 miles and said "Yeah, its good to go." I paid for the cooling system to be fixed and the car cant sit and run for an hour without starting to overheat. I called back the day after I picked it up and explained that I needed them to correct some things and I was told I needed to wait till next monday, a week, when my vehicle had already been sitting in their shop for almost 2 weeks. The time it took to order parts they could have been actually diagnosing the missfire and P0336. I paid good money because I wanted the work to be guaranteed by a dealership. I wanted certified technicians who were familiar with the LT1 and my vehicle platform.

The first night my wife, our childen and myself pulled on to the lot we greeted by Keith in such a genuine and down home manner. It was late on a friday night and we just wanted to take a look at a few of the trucks. Keith went above and beyond to answer all our questions and stayed late and wanted us to take our time looking. Never once did I feel obligated or pressured. A few days later my wife and I decided on the vehicle we wanted and going back to Keith at Heritage was a no brainer. I made an offer that Wed. night over the phone and computer. Once again Keith along with help from Josh Friedman stayed long after business hours to work out the details of the purchase as I would be coming in the next day. When I arrived the next day I was again greeted with the utmost respect and friendlyness from everyone. And once again my expectations were exceeded when Josh and Keith were able to help me out with another item. Even the fellas in the parts department made the experience that much sweeter as stayed late to help me get floor mats for my new truck. Josh had coordinated everything with my lender before I arrived that evening. Josh and Tom O'Toole went over all my lending agreements and paperwork smoothly and patiently. Keith and I wrapped up the evening in the Suburban tutoring me patiently on the features and operating functions of the new Suburban. Keith and Josh made sure I was educated and comfortable before I departed home. They also reassured me that they happy to answer any other questions I might have later on and help in any way they could. When I left I felt as though I had gotten a spectacular deal and had no reservations about my purchase. Keith has since followed up with me to make sure everything was going well. I just can't say enough about what an awesome experience it was buying a vehicle from Keith and Heritage Chevrolet. They truly earned my busines and I will be a customer for life. Despite the time differences and constant back and forth mainly through email, Alex was still able to get me all the documentation necessary and let me know step by step what needed to be done and more importantly did not do it in a rush fashion, but was very considerate of my timetable. He even went out of his way to send pictures so I knew what I was coming home to and could show the guys in the office. It's the end of the 2012 production of Chev Colorado and we scoured the country via Cars.com for a model that matched our specs. We found suitable new trucks at dealers in Oregon, Eastern Washington and elsewhere, also several dealers in Maryland, Virginia. As we were about to visit grandchildren in DC area the east coast dealers offered chance for us to take a one way cross country trip. We left messages at several dealers two weeks ago on a Sunday morning and Josh at Heritage was right on it with a response. From across the country, it was a new kind of transaction for both of us however their stock item was best of every dealer we had searched nationwide. It took several days to work out the details but indeed we did purchase our truck from 4000 miles, remote. Our salesman Josh Friedman was right there all the time sending information, calling me to reply to critical questions and to facilitate delivery of the truck to my son's home 150 miles away. We have not taken delivery yet as our trip is next month, December. My regret is that I will not be able to visit the dealership and shake Josh's hand. Josh look for a special PNW gift via UPS soon. Recently I went to Heritage Chevrolet in hopes of buying a Chevrolet Avalanche or a Silverado. I researched Heritage on the internet and discovered that they had a number of vehicles in stock that fit my search. One slight problem though, the price was wrong. It seemed I had been offered discounts that were not availiable to the particular vehicle I was interested in purchasing. I went home with a purchase agreement a recieved a call stating that the deal was unable to be completed due to the inaccuraccy of the price quoted. A day later I recievevd a calll from Tom O'Toole who stated that the mistake was made on behalf of the dealership and that they would honor the discounts already presented. Needless to say I purchased the Silverado and I am thouroughly enjoying it. In a time where big businesses are all about making a dollar it was great to know that Heritage Chevrolet is about doing whats right. If anyone is looking for a vehicle and wants a honest sales team Heritage is the place to go. They truly earned their bow!!!!!

Recently I went to Heritage Chevrolet in hopes of buying a Chevrolet Avalanche or a Silverado. I researched Heritage on the internet and discovered that they had a number of vehicles in stock that fit my search. I was immediately called by Josh Friedman and he began the process of the purchase of my vehicle. I went to the dealership and feel in love with the Silverado even though I owned an Avalanche. This was probably the best new car buying experience I have ever gone through. I worked with John A. in internet sales with a TrueCar.com offer that was excellent! I had to order my 'vette from the factory. But, while it was a difficult wait, I got the car I wanted. John was very helpful and pleasant throughout the time and I drove away the other day with a brand new Corvette. Thank you for making it such a pleasant experience!

I made my best deal with Heritage Chev. Josh was my contact on line - along with 8 other sales people from both VA and NC dealerships. Josh was informational and prompt with his on line responses. He gave me information that other dealers did NOT! This in turn, lowered the price I paid for my vehicle. Even though my home is over 85 miles from the dealership, I would chose to do business with Josh and Hertiage Chev. again.

This entire experience was positive from my initial Internet contact, locating the vehicle we needed, honesty of salesman, experience with finance department, to the delivery of the vehicle, and trade of our vehicle. Showed up on service doorstep first thing Friday morning with numerous issues on trip from Florida to Baltimore. Was greeted before 7 am (hard working Donnie), told would work me into schedule although it was full. Started diagnostics at 8:10 am! Faulty fuel pump was replaced (fortunately warrany covered it). Estimate at 9 am was for noon completion, and I drove away at 12:15. EVERYONE said hello as they walked by during the morning. The mechanic answered and explained all my questions. Service manager checked in with me about every half hour with a progress report. I can't imagine getting better service, and they knew I was just passing through. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND their service department. Very fortunate to have made their aquaintance, especially under my circumstances. Thanks to all!

Mr. Donnie Foster is certainly an asset to Heritage Chevrolet and to the General Motors name and on many recent occasions has ensured that my service needs were addressed completely. Mr. Foster was attentive to the concerns I have had with my 2007 Suburban, and in addition to addressing the issues correctly the first time, he took the time to follow up with me to make sure I was satisfied with the work. On a subsequent visit, he was extremely responsive to my familys need to have our vehicle repaired quickly so we could still drive to our vacation spot even when it meant ordering parts and repairing the car the next day! Its not often you also receive the attention to detail, can-do attitude and excellent customer service that I have experienced at Heritage Chevrolet.

On 2/9/2011, I called Heritage Chevrolet and talked with service representative Mr. Donnie Foster. He made an appointment for 1430 hours to have my 2008 Tahoe serviced. I requested a oil and filter change, in addition to having the drivers inside door handle replaced. The door handle had a defect that caused it to cut my fingers when opening the drivers door. My contact by phone and in person with Mr. Foster was an excellent experience. His knowledge and experence with vehilces, his demeanor and his professionalism greeting and serving me and others is very refreshing as a customer. Mr.Donnie Foater took the time to listen to my needs and made sure this information was given to the technician. Mr. Foster for several years has been my contact when service has been needed on my vehicle. As in the pasted, Mr. Foster's ability to see that my vehicle repairs or service are completed and returned in the time frame he estimated has been very accurate.
