I purchased a Vehicle from here 3 years ago and at that time was quite frustrated with the lack of customer service. I still take my car there for maintenance and repairs and have noticed a significant improvement in customer service over the last couple of years. The service manager is outstanding and always goes above and beyond to make sure things are done in a professiona and timely fashion. Keep up the good work!

I purchased '00 Jetta as a used car more than a decade ago from Cook, and ever since then it has been serviced by the talented mechanics there. The place is always spotless, the faces familiar and very friendly. I trust Alan specifically and he always gives me the straight scoop. Janette in the payments department is friendly and thorough. Whenever I am waiting for my car, I browse the new beauties, but the get back into my clean & shiny vehicle & motor home. I've had several VWs in my life & maybe there's room for another. Good value and good engineering.

This is my first VW, my Partner bought a car from Jody (Damon White) and had a very positive experience. He is a quality Director for his company, so he is not easy to please. When it was time for me to sell my Prius, I was excited to learn about the Passat Diesel and it's mileage. Jody actually made the car buying process pleasant. He was warm, friendly, professional, knowledgable and attentive. After the sale he has been equally as wonderful. I've had to come in and call a few times for help with the electronics and he was right there and solved my problems immediately. This could be unique as I stopped by a Dealership in Santa Cruz when I was having a problem out of town and there were 5 Sales People sitting on a bench drinking coffee and not one of them offered to help me get my blue tooth restarted. The just sat there continuing to chat with each other. Finally a black gentlemen jumped up and helped me, I wish I had taken his name, he is also my hero. For me, now that I have completed my last pre-paid service, I am free to go where ever I wish. I most likely will continue with HC because of Jody. I hope you keep him on and treat him well.

We have had our VW for 4 years and have always had excellent service at a reasonable price for Herman Cook VW. We especially enjoy being able to talk with Alan about any concerns about our car or about the scheduled maintenance. We would not go anywhere else!

I discovered Herman Cook VW while doing Internet searches for a used Jetta, and they were identified as having a vehicle that fit my search parameters. I found the entire staff to be very pleasant and non-pushy. I mainly worked with Allison, who was great. I never felt any pressure from her, nor did I experience any 'sales shenanigans' from her or from anybody else for that matter. I already had the price that I wanted to pay for the car worked out to the penny, and they actually came in at $100 below my purchase goal. Very pleasant experience all around...... and I love the car!

I leased my Jetta from Steve Walsh just a few days ago. After dealing with so many other dealerships where I felt like I couldn't trust the salesmen, something was different and stood out about this place. I wish I would have come to this dealership first and saved myself the hassle....I called Steve, told him what I was looking for and when I got to the dealership, he had the perfect car cleaned and ready for me to test drive. I looked at other cars too...but Steve chose the right car for me from the start and I wound up going with that one. He then worked out an amazing deal....a deal so great that I didn't even feel the need to negotiate. I didn't feel pressured, hassled or uncomfortable at any point. This is how car buying should be. There are so many stereotypes about car salesmen that you can't trust...and them trying to add on as many features as they can to get you to buy more. Steve felt out my lifestyle, financial situation etc. and found a car and a deal that worked for me. I'm glad I came to Herman Cook VW. Oh, and my car is beautiful and drives great :)

I bought a Jetta from this dealer a few years back and couldn't be happier. Not only is the car awesome, they always take care of me when I go in for service. They never try and upsell me like other service center do and make sure I am driving away safe every time.

I am a foreign young professional with no credit history in the US, the staff from Herman Cook VW went the extra mile to adapt to my needs both financially and personally. Other dealerships came to me with a lot of obstacles for me, I had been looking to get a VW for the past 2 weeks no one dared to negotiate the price via email, there was even very rude representative from South Bay who told me it wouldn't be possible for me to get financed without a cosigner. Where other dealerships treated me rudely, Oscar from Herman Cook VW listened and adapted to what I had requested and he did so in a quick and very friendly manner. I had such an exceptional treatment from everyone at the dealership and so I purchased a 2012 CPO Jetta from them. So thanks Heather, Dan, and specially Oscar Martinez for the exceptional service.

Yesterday I purchased my third Volkswagen, but my first new one from Herman Cook: a 2014 Jetta GLI. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, and I got the car color and model that I wanted for a good price. They even offered me a slice of pizza, as they had just got lunch. The whole process went very smoothly and I will definately recommend Herman Cook VW to anyone looking for a VW in the future. Thanks again.

Back in July I had my 2013 Jetta S serviced and the mechanic notified me at the time that the key lock tumbler on my ignition was in need of replacement and they would order the part and contact me when it came in. I was never contacted after that and had to return on my own to the shop when my key would not come out or stop the engine, thus the less than perfect rating. The service desk was very helpful and got right to work to solve the problem. I was told to return the next day for pick up and was given a complimentary rental. The next day I picked up my Jetta and have been very satisfied with the lock since that time. Generally I am satisfied and would most likely recommend Herman Cook Volkswagon to others, though still a bit puzzled why I was never contacted about the part.

I brought in My Audi A3 for an oil change and the service was amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly/helpful. They didn't try to up-sell anything to me, there was no pressure. Just relaxed and friendly environment. 5 Stars out of 5.

I was greeted in a professional way, my information was taken with special interest so that the service to my GTI would go smoothly. My car was serviced and returned to me in a timely manner.I was taken to and from my home by shuttle and it was a pleasant ride.

I took a 2011 Golf for 50,000 miles service. Service was excellent. The personnel very accommodating. But I was shocked at the fee. I can't imagine what it would be to replace a part!

How many dealerships have a sales manager that walks you personally to the service dept. and starts the process of leaving your car for service. NONE! Time is very important to customers. None of us want to waste time and I can say my last visit was very good, I rate all there with a high score. Jerry Barringer

Up until yesterday I thought that I had a done deal with Herman Cook VW. I thought I was paying the below email price of $27,839.80 OTD for a Dark Gray with black leather 2012 Jetta TDI with premium and navigation, and with a mat kit and first aid kit. My rate at 2.9 with $3,000 down. A monthly payment of $444.00 for 60 months. I went to sign the papers yesterday and at the top of the paperwork it states it is a 2011 TDI with navigation. My sales man claims that he never knew that it was suppose to be a 2012 and that there was just miscommunication between us because in my first email I stated that I wanted a 2012 but if he had a great deal on a 2011 I would listen to it. Here is the header of 8 emails that clearly states it is a 2012 when we are finalizing the deal, 5 before I got there. These were not created by me. It affected my credit and wasted my time.
