The staff was all friendly and knowledgeable. They took an interest in what I was looking for in a car, and a couple times we got completely off topic talking about similar interests. I did appreciate that the gave us space to consider which car to buy without feeling pushy. I only looked at the Chevi Cruze, but they had several to choose from at different levels of trim/mileage. Many of their cars are silver, but I was glad that they do have some in other colors. Have had my car for a month now, and still love it. I have no complaints about my experience, and would definitely go back/recommend others to go there.

Called to try and get some info and pricing information to purchase a car. And the "sales man" Manford was rude and obnoxious. Good thing there are over 400 of these cars in the area... guess i'll go on to the next one!

I recently purchased a 2012 Chevy Cruze from this Hertz Car Sales location and Manfred was one of the best sales people I have ever worked with. He was not pushy and was concerned with one thing, and it wasn't just selling me a car, but rather selling me a car that was the perfect fit for me. He was not pushy and never tried to sell me on something that I didn't want or need, but still provided me with all of the options that were available to me. He was also extremely funny and a great person to work with overall. The dealership it self was clean and everyone was extremely nice during my transaction with purchasing my new used car. Pros: Manfred, clearly. The customer service was exceptional and focused on what I needed/ wanted and not just trying to make a sale. I had a rental car at the time, and post my purchase of a new car, Manfred escorted me to the rental car return center down the street after helping me move all the items that were personal belongings from the rental car. He then waited for me to ensure that I had no issues with the return of the rental car. He helped set up the OnStar profile before leaving and was overall the best part of the experience I had with Hertz Car Sales. Cons: For the most part, the cons are limited to purchasing a used car/ rental car. They consisted of higher mileage (expected), a few minor dents/dings/scratches (which a majority were fixed during the paperwork process, which was a Pro), and the major con for me personally, was that the vehicle, due to being a previous rental car, only came with one key fob/remote, which is about a $170, possibly more or less. So, overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my experience and with the purchase. I typically only buy vehicles from a direct branded dealership, but I would say that I would consider returning to Hertz Car Sales in the future if I needed to purchase a new car. After a long search, I was lucky to find these great people lead me into my new car. All of their cars are in mint condition and at very competitive prices.You can tell some of the vehicles were discreetly touched-up from minor scrapes or scratches, but you cannot go wrong with their 'certified' warranty. The place is very clean and organized. Joe, the manager, was especially great at making the buying experience as smooth as possible. I came back a week later after purchase, I had heard a few noises from the car and Joe had no problem recommending me to a shop where he would cover the expenses for anything that needed to be done to the car. I wouldn't recommend abusing of their attentive response to customer issues, but it's great to know that this place will and can respond to any aroused emergency to your vehicle. Lastly, do know that the hassle price shown on the website is the discounted price and what you will pay. Overall, it was a great experience and well worthwhile the hour drive.

Stephanie, Sales, was excellent to work with, stayed after her shift to find us a car. Joe, Credit Manager, was excellent with working out the finances, even found me a better rate, than I had. Would definitely, go back to purchase another car.

After visiting several dealers, we went to Hertz to see what they had. It seemed like the other dealers offered either bare base models or models loaded with option packages we didn't want. It was nice to work with sales agents that weren't pressured to make quotas. I asked some questions like 'where is the power steering pump', which they did not know, but that is understandable with the large number of makes and models for sale. Stephanie and Doug were very helpful and made certain we were satisfied with the vehicle we bought. The showroom was lit by 12 volt track lighting. The front room had windows for adequate light, but the the rear room where our car was, was behind a wall . It was so dark that we could not read the stickers through the tinted windows. After we test drove the second Rav4, we decided to buy it. In the daylight, I noticed that the passenger side tires were unusable, the rear one was worn down to the tread indicator crossbands, and the front one had a deep cut which showed the cords near the rim. I told Stephanie about these tires, and Doug agreed to replace the tires as needed, which we did at Discount Tire. In our discussions, Stephanie mistakenly said the car we tested had two keys. But at the closing only one key was found, so Doug sent us to the DesPlaines Hertz to get a spare key made. Every promise was kept by Doug and Hertz, and the nice, 2013 Rav4 is taking me to work every day. We have no complaints, and would recommend Hertz easily for buying a used car, especially knowing that Hertz doesn't sell flood or crash damaged vehicles, and the maintenance that Hertz protects their cars with.

This car buying experience was the best I have ever experienced. My daughter was in need of a car and we started out the day going lot by lot looking for the type of car she was interested in. By the afternoon we were getting stressed out a little because the day was slipping by and the cars we found had higher prices than we wanted to pay. Then comes Hertz to the rescue. If you are looking for a newer used car that is clean and really want a stress free car buying experience then you owe it to yourself to check out this dealership. I would highly recommend a trip to Hertz in Schaumburg. Big thanks to Stephanie Youngren who really took her time with my daughter and made her first time buying experience great. She focused on the price range and car type and answered all of the questions asked. Thanks to Joe Kilian during the financing portion, he did great job of explaining the entire process. During the financing portion Stephanie was busy filling the tank and washing the car which was great. This is my first review but really appreciated the folks at Hertz to make this a great experience at the end of a busy day. I will certainly start at Hertz next time when needing a car. Thank you

After getting the typical car sales routine at other dealers I was impressed by the pressure-free, hassle free experience at Schaumburg Hertz Sales. They were patient, answered all my questions and sold me a quality vehicle. They even replaced a hubcap free of charge that fell off a couple weeks after I purchased the car. Manfred, Stephanie and the sales manager Joe were all very helpful and professional.

Love the one price no Hassle/Haggle. Did a lot of on-line research. Had some of the best prices I could find. All cars are Certified. Manfred was great. Felt very comfortable. Joe Kilian the finance person was fantastic. What a great guy. Very knowledgable. Will buy my next car from them again.

From start to finish, Hertz Car Sales of Schaumburg made my car buying experience stress free. I felt like I was spending the afternoon with friends. Manfred Hoerr made me feel relaxed from the moment I stepped foot into the sales office. During my visit, at my own pace, I had a car picked out, test drove it, negotiated a price, and was directed to the finance department. He even arranged for the return of my rental car to the local rental agency. Joe Kilian was very helpful and informative during the financing portion of my experience. He patiently answered all my questions and guided me completely through the process. The other two sales people were friendly and courteous as well. I walked away feeling I had received excellent treatment and a fair price from a very genuine and professional staff.

I recently purchased a 2013 Chevy Cruze from this dealership with my fiance. We worked with Doug Olsen, who was extremely helpful and friendly. The entire staff made us feel welcome and didn't put any pressure on us. We enjoyed the experience and love the new car. I will definitely recommend this dealership to others.

From the time we walked in, Doug was friendly and most attentive to what I was looking for. He fully explained how the cars wound up on this lot and how the sales process worked. He set up the test drive on the vehicle and did not try to push me into something more expensive. Before leaving the dealer, we were able to sit with sales manager to get all of the details regarding financing. Based on these points in the searching experience, I decided to buy the car from Hertz.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Hertz Car Sales. The vehicle was for my daughter, so this was her first time interacting in the car buying process. I met with Doug Olsen who was professional and knowledgeable regarding the vehicles in his lot. He also understood that I had a budget to maintian and he only showed me cars that "fit". We were not pressured into buying a car and were allowed to inpsect and drive several types of cars before finding the perfect one for my daughter. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to buy a clean and inspected vehicle at a fair price from a trustworthy person who values your business. I will recommend Hertz Car Sales in Schaumburg to all of my friends for their future purchases.
