I am a firm believer in givING Credit where credit is due. About a year ago I had an aweful experience with this service department so when the air stopped working in my 2015 Rogue, I was less than excited to deal with them. When I called however I was pleasantly surprised when they told me to bring my vehicle in even though they were over capacity because it was too hot here to be without air. Once I dropped my vehicle off they put me into a rental vehicle with no questions asked and I was still able to make it on time to work! By 3pm I had a call confirmed they found the problem (a bad air compressor), confirmed covered under warranty, and could come get my vehicle! Check out was quick and smooth and everyone was much more friendlier this time around!! I'm not totally sold since I've had 1 bad and 1 good experience so I still wouldn't recommend them, but I will give them another chance come my next oil change need

I found a 2011 Honda Pilot at this dealership using cars.com and I noticed that there were no photos of the car online. Strike 1.I called on the phone to make sure the car was still there and to verify that I could pay for it in cash rather than finance. If you pay cash, I was told, you have to pay $1,000 more than the listed price. Strike 2.I figured we would look at the car anyways, just in case it was spectacular. I told them on the phone that we were driving there, and that we lived nearly 2 hours away. Fast forward 2 hours. We arrive and are shown the car. It was a mess. It had several body and bumper scrapes and a few small dents that were never mentioned on the website nor on the phone. We started the engine and the engine light was engaged. Plus the air conditioner did not even blow cool air. Not even after 10 minutes of running. Strike 3.We were out of there. My wife and I had completely wasted 4 hours of our day. Plus I had taken the entire day off work. All for nothing. The only positive was when the salesman felt bad and gave us $10 worth of gift cards to a common store.

I looked at the dealership inventory online and knew exactly what I wanted. We test drove a black Rogue and was concerned when it was first started because it had horrible knocking when first started. I had to ask the sales guy, Ken, three times if the had the blue Rogue I was looking for on the lot. He finally showed it to us but my husband decided that he wanted the black one. We went in to do the numbers and hopefully buy the Rogue. We were already prequalified through Capital One auto finance. Ken pushed hard for us to do the fiancing through Nissan because we would save $2000 off the purchase price of the Rogue. We finally allowed Ken to run the numbers and the estimated payments came back showing about a 24% interest rate! We already knew Capital One offered us a much lower interest rate. We decided to hold off and walk out the door and think it over and crunch numbers. The next day I spoke with Ken and finally decided we would let him run both financing options fully. Two hours later he called with the numbers that just didn't seem to add up and figure out to be the interest rates that he said we would get. We gain held off and talked it over during lunch and crunched numbers and talked with Captial one. I asked Ken to have the finance manager to call me and he said he would. After many hours I called and talked to Ken again and he said the finance manager was busy and he didn't know when he could call me. I waited until 5 pm and then called Hill Nissan again and asked to speak to the finance manager. I was transferred to the finance manager who quickly answered. His name was Gary but as soon as I said I was working with Ken he didn't listen to any questions I had but transferred me to Ken. Ken then answered the line after a few minutes on hold. I asked to talk to his manager because at this point I didn't feel like I was being taken seriously. I then was placed on hold for 10 minutes when finally the receptionist picked the phone and asked me if I was waiting to speak with someone. She then stated that Ken had walked away and had just left the phone ringing. I told her that I wanted to speak to a manager. After a brief hold the phone was picked up and then I was hung up on. I called back still thinking it might have been a mistake and giving these people the benefit of the doubt. The receptionist didn't even answer this time. I ended the call once it went to voicemail. I called again this time blocking my number from caller ID because I was really starting to feel like the didn't want my business. I asked to be transferred to the sales manager an Will answered the phone. He was very short with me and interrupted me while talking. He had a bit of an attitude and was unprofessional. While still talking to him he hung up on me. This dealership is by far the most unprofessional dealership I have ever worked with. They were not courteous or even concerned about answering the questions we had. I won't ever come close to doing business at this dealership again and will make sure none of my friends or family do either.

I called in to see if I could get a slight shimmy in the steering wheel when I applied the breaks checked. I talked to Wayne Brokaw and set an appointment for two days later. I arrived and waited for about an hour while the tech drove the car and inspected the rotors.I was told the pads looked fine and the rotors were thick enough to turn and they suspected that was the problem. They also suggested an alignment and tire balance. The tires were wearing normally and would need replacement within 10K so I passed on those suggestions. They gave me a ride home and about three hours later picked me up. They did what they said they would do. Well done!

My sale was challenged due to my credit history.However, my salesman, Chuck Grand at Hill Nissan was awesome! He did not give up on me. He was constantly positive and motivational and genuinely cared that I drove out in a new Hill Nissan Versa Note. This is the very first time in my car buying experiences that I felt "I" was important and my needs were their goal. I am a single woman and in the past have felt cheated/ripped off by other dealerships. FINALLY, I can say I did not get cheated or ripped off by Hill Nissan. I can't thank Chuck Grand and Hill Nissan enough for the respect, understanding and genuine caring they gave me. Thanks to them, I have a 2014 Nissan Versa Note, I can afford the payments, and I know Hill Nissan will be there to assist whenever it is required. From the initial introduction in the parking lot, to the Finance Dept., it was truly a unique and positive experience. Thank you so much and keep up the superior customer service!! Bought my third vehicle from Hill Nissan on August 15, 2014. Salesman was Bobby Ruis. I have known the owner (Tim Hill) since he was a teenager and have always found him to be a Gentleman, honest and fair in all dealings. I have nothing but praise for this dealership from the General Manager, August Dilia, to the Service Manager, Tony Laffin and all the staff in between. This latest purchase was a Nissan Rouge, fully loaded, and I just can't say enough good things about this vehicle. I am having a wonderful time driving this car and so far, with my lead foot, I've been averaging 29.7 mpg. The A/C cools this car down in no time, even when parked in the Florida sun. My friends can't get over the size of the moon roof. My salesman, Bobby Ruis, is a square shooter. Former pitcher for the Texas Rangers. Great guy to talk too and very helpful with customers in selecting the car of their choice. I would say to anyone in the market for a new or used car you owe it to yourself to visit this dealership.

I drove all the way from Orlando down to Hill Nissan ( 1 hour away) because of the amazing reputation they have. A co-worker of mine had talked up Hill quite a bit before I bought my new Pathfinder. I shopped around at some local Nissan dealers in Orlando and was not impressed. I got an incredible deal at Hill! Found the care i wanted quickly and the whole process on a busy Saturday didnt take all that long! Ask for Debby, she was my sales consultant and ROCKS! I felt comfortable with her, NOT PRESSURED and walked out with an incredible deal. The finance guy, Garry was super nice too! Took his time to explain everything to me and didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff i didn't need. Every person I interacted with at Hill was so nice and friendly. World class all the way. Hi everyone my Name is Nancy, I bought a 2008 nissan altima at hill nissan 2 years ago and gave $4,000.00 down , when i bought the car they told me if I pay it on time for at least a year I was able to go back and they would qualify me for a brand new car....so I did pay it on time actually the payments were withdrawn from my checking acct every month, I tried to trade in my car last year and they want it money down or if not they could give me a deal, so I was not able to get the car, soooo I tried again this year and I was also turned down cause they want it $2000.00 down again so I went to city kia and they want to make me a deal with $ 500.00 down but would not take the car as trade cause it was going to be a lost for them, so I went to universal hyundai and they also offer me a deal on a 2013 brand new hyundai elantra with no money down but did not take the car as an trade in so I asked the sale person why nobody wants to take my car and they are saying if they take the car as an trade in they are going to loose because my car was in an major accident and the air bag had deployed and gave me a copy of that info, I am so soooo upset with hill nissan because I found out the car was in an major accident with the previous owner and was never told anything from hill nissan so I called hill nissan explained to my sales person what was going on and to make me a deal on another car and take my car back in and they want me to give a down payment, so not only that they sell me a car that was previously in a major accident and air bags had deployed, never tell me anything and now they are giving me a hard time and don't even call me back I have to be calling and leaving messages and the sales manager told me he was going to work with me and call me back on tuesday here we are friday and have not heard a word from him I am so dissapointed, taking legal action wish me luck....

purchased 2013 maxima - had problems from day 1 - tires weren't balanced - paint scratched and most of all at acceleration from stop the car wouldn't go, you can't get caught in an intersection at all cause you want be able to go car has problem with acceleration. Had my car for 3 days then service had it for 3 days still not balanced even after new tires, car still has problems with acceleration and service department denies that there is anything wrong with the car....even though on a daily basis my car almost gets me in an accident because it want accelerate from stop position this happens at least 3 - 4 times during my daily drive time. I have only had the car 3 weeks and they want me to leave it again even though they claim nothing is wrong with it...leave it we will take a look. They also informed me that they had never heard of the problem I was having with the acceleration from stop (like I made it up) even though I recently found out that there has been a recall from Nissan not for Maxima but other models for the same problem, even though it wasn't Maxima I think they should take care of the problem before I end up in an accident from being stuck in an intersection because my car doesn't accelerate. I wouldn't purchase another vehicle from this place ever...They need to really check the service department, desperately needs help with customer satisfaction. I would love for one of them to drive my car and get stuck in the intersection with cars headed their way and not be able to move...scary..... I think they would change their minds quickly and have my car fixed immediately...

I bought my first car at this dealership about a year and a half ago. They worked with me on the price and payments so that I could afford it on my barely minimum wage. The problem (or should I say problems) with the car started shortly after my warranty expired. I have since had to replace the sparkplugs/wires, several lights, air filter twice, gas cap, alternator, a tire, free-on (only about a hundred times), I've had the ac cleaned out by the dealership (who charged me a ridiculous amount of money to do that and it still didn't work),the oil, and most recently the starter. I still have to replace the water pump, another tire, the brakes, the oil again, and the evaporater coil (because the ac doesn't work in this Florida heat... or ever). The car was set to be sent to auction (and I'm constantly being reminded of why) so my mistake. I wish they had considered my financial situation a little more carefully, or at least informed me that they were selling me a pile of crap. Now I'm faced with the possibiltity that I won't be able to continue to go to school in the fall in order to cover the cost of having a (potentially) running vehicle. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE!!!!

Instinct told me that the salesman was a bit pushy and shady when we test drove the car. After shopping around, we decided to go with the deal he offered. After getting approved for the loan and dropping off our trade and giving him our card number for a $500 deposit on the deal, we were informed that the deal was off unless we paid $2000 more than was orginally agreed. After calling multiple times and getting only voicemail and no response from Ron or the manager, we asked a friend who worked at the dealership to intervene. We finally got a call back from Ron with several excuses as to why the deal fell through, none of which made any sense. At that point we walked and never looked back. Instead we took our business to a dealership 100 miles away and it was well worth the drive in the end. I DO NOT recommend this dealership to anyone who values honesty and simple customer service.

Drove 3 hours away for a used car offer, when i arrived and looked at the car it had bad tires, needed alignment, over due by 3k miles for service, leather was cracked, lights were out, and scratches all over the car. went inside to negotiate the price, they said all those things were minor repairs and they were firm on their selling price, manager and sales associate was very rude and unprofessional. been buying cars for over 7 years with family members and this had to be the worst experience.

I had what I would characterize as a near-flawless execution of a car purchase at Hill Nissan. Perhaps it's because we as car consumers have been conditioned over the years to be put through the ringer by slick car salespersons, spending the majority of an evening sitting anxiously in an office waiting for the back-and-forth trips to the "my manager's office" to relay compromises in offers and eventually, obtain a bottom line that everyone can agree upon. At Hill, I was specific about what I wanted, needed, could afford to pay, and this only made Bobby's interaction with me more pointed, pleasurable and valuable to me. Bobby is genuine, low-pressure, knowledgable about the product he was selling me (13 Altima) and always accessible. When he wasn't readily available, I received a quick return phone call back. Not only am I driving the car that I REALLY wanted and love sitting in (which is exciting in itself), I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't dreading interactions with a dealership. At any given moment, I was waiting for the other shoe to drop during the process, and it never did. Hill is a solid dealership in my humble opinion. The finance manager, Gary, was also a pleasant surprise. Great sense of humor, professional, thorough in all details and very knowledgable in what he was doing. I don't sense that I'll have any buyers remorse after accepting an extended warranty with this auto purchase, much of that due to the fact that Gary didn't come across as shifty or selling something I didn't need. Truth be told, car buying, as wonderful as it SHOULD BE, isn't always the case. At Hill, I would hope the experience encountered by others is the same as mine, as I wouldn't hesitiate at any time, to recommend this dealership to my friends and family. Thank you for this experience!

went in to look at a used Mitsubishi Spyder conv. car was 1 step away from trash. Car was not operational, interior seats were both ripped, exterior paint was completely oxidized, and scratched.Manager was rude and defensive when he was informed of the condition of the car. I wasted a tank of gas, and hours of my time when your dealership assured me the car was in excellent condition. Be assured that your service will be passed on to any relative friend,thinking of buying anything from you.

I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and how much I could spend. I did thorough internet searches on one other Nissan dealer and two Ford dealers in my area as well. That's what led me in and ultimately, to purchase. When you don't have a clue beforehand, you're much more liable to have buyer's remorse later. I worked with Debbie Saxe and it was one of the most pleasant if not the smoothest auto purchase I've ever done. She arranged everything I wanted and answered all the questions. This was a hectic time as the delivery was done on Dec 23, but she didn't pressure and never rushed me. I haven't been in for service yet but I'll post that one when it happens.

I had a very good experience with Troy Wambles. He was no pressure whatsover, evenwhen I told him that we where going to continue to shop around after my first visitto Hill Nissan. His concern from the very beginning was that we got the car that fitour budget after losing our Element in a car accident. He followed up with me several times and wanted to make sure we where getting what we wanted. Once again nopressure. After shopping around for used vehicles I didn't find the car that suited me. My first thought was to go back to Troy at Hill Nissan and purchase a used vehicle. After a little while of checking some very capable used vehicles, Troy toldme that I qualified for 1.9% financing and the Nissan Rogue had some good rebates. After some thought, it totally made sense to purchase the Rogue. In my opinion Troy is a very genuine and trustworthy salesman. I feel he truly wanted to give me the best deal possible. After the purchase he explained all the gadgets the car had.Troy was very professional, well dressed, and ready to do his job. I would definitely purchase another car from Troy. The finance Dept. did a good job as well. Overall this is the best experience I have ever had at a car dealer. Alex D.

I bought my 2001 nissan back in 2001 and they did a awesome the saleman was great and friendly . my friend has bought 3 nissans from them and was very pleased . He went to check out another nissan dealer in lakeland call Jenkins nissan and was treaded like a piece of meat and another number . He told the salesman at jekins about one he saw at Hill Nissan and the saleman told him the buy it from them that they were better price than jekins was. So he did he ended up buying a Brand new Pathfinder for 32500 out the door 2011. He bought the 25th anverservy edtion. sticker at 38000 and save thousands starting was 29500. Jenkins could not touch that price. HILL DOSE THE BEST DEALS. IN WINTER HAVEN FL.

The service dept at Hill really irritated me. I called about a recall, the person confirmed that they had the part and were ready, so I scheduled an appointment and made arrangements for someone to pick me up at the dealership. When I showed up for the appointment they didn't have the part. The guy said that they'd call me as soon as the part arrived. I waited patiently, and 2 months later had not yet received a call so I sent an email to the dealership to give them an opportunity to 1) apologize for not having the part and not calling and 2) offer a loaner car since it was their fault that I had to make a second appointment. The day after I sent my email I did receive a call to say that they had the part, but no apology, and I was told I could ride the shuttle if I wanted. This is a very small thing, but it irritates me even more because it would have been so easy for them to make it right. Since they didn't take the small, easy steps necessary to make it right it shows me that they don't care that much about my business. So I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
