My car (that I LOVED!) was stolen during the storm. Dealing with insurance and police claims was very stressful and trying to find a vehicle that fit my lifestyle and budget was a daunting task. I've had the pleasure of going straight to one dealership in 2015 and I was able to buy my car at the first place I stopped at to car shop. Returned a little over a year later and once again, left with my dream car, all thanks to BRIAN AND SHAWN, who both work for the financial department. I found a low mileage Honda Civic Hybrid at Hilton Head Honda. I met with Brian Heidik and we worked together to get a great deal on my trade-in and the new car. After a few days, it turned out that the car had a dead starter battery but they fixed that very quickly over my lunch break. I would definitely go to this dealership next time and ask for Brian!! Five stars all around, thanks guys.

The first time I walked into this particular Honda dealership, Mr. Paul Savastano greeted me with a friendly smile & asked if he could help me. I not only allowed this gentleman to do so on that occasion but on many others that followed, as I was in the process of research. Paul was always willing to answer any and all questions, even if I had asked them before, as I have a tendency to forget sometimes! I was attracted to the Honda Civic and Paul went through all the fantastic features this particular Civic possessed. On another visit, Paul took a ride with me in this Civic. During our time together, Paul patiently listened to me talk about my previous car experiences & what my desires were when it came to automobile preferences. It was only after I drove the Civic that I felt it was too light a car, I imagine due to the fact I was used to driving sedans. Before I knew it Paul introduced to me the 2016 Honda Accord EX which I not only fell in love with, but purchased as well. I would recommend any & all seeking to purchase a car to go to Hilton Head Honda and ask for Mr. Paul Savastano.

I'm not a fan of buying cars. The hassle of looking, feeling taken advantage of, sitting for what seems like eternity to get paperwork filled out, and of course the pressure. My last experience was the complete opposite. Andy did a great job of getting me in and out of the dealership quickly. I did not feel pressured or left in the dark wondering what was taking so long. The process was easy and left me knowing where to go next time I am in the market for a new car.

I had been researching CR-Vs and was very specific in what I was looking for. Annie was great in finding the vehicle and as we were switching from long time Toyota buyers to our first Honda went through a hands on demonstration of all the features that were in the car, many of which are different from our previous vehicles. I had a specific price in mind and when Annie could at first not meet it she worked with her sales manager (Ryan) to get very close to what I was looking for. Annie is a delight to work with and we look forward to buying our next car from she and Ryan too.

I had a 2008 honda pilot that the vsa light was coming on. My wife and I have a home in Tennessee we would take the pilot on our trips restoring the home. As long as we didn't stop the car rode beautifully bus as soon as we stopped the check engine light rand vsa would come on and make the vehicle perform poorly. We took the vehicle to grainger honda first and after two parts changed we had the same issue. So I took it to hilton head honda and i was assured that they would solve the issue. So after a few days I was called and told that I needed to get the oil pump replaced and that while it was down to get the water pump and timming belt changed. I ASKED SEVERAL TIMES IF THIS WOULD RESOLVE THE ISSUE WITH THE VSA LIGHT AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD. Because I would not have had the other repairs done if it were just guess work. Well after the repairs were done I was called and told I needed a new engine block at the tune of $8000.00 I do maintenance work for a living and I work on pumps,bearings, and large paper processing equipment. I KNOW THAT IF ANY SECTION OF A MOTOR IS NOT GETTING OIL IT WILL NOT RUN LONG. the repair bill for the pump,belt and water pump was $1300.00 the reduced the bill to $1000.00 But still with the repairs total at both dealerships i paid $1000.00 and the dealership I punched the vehicle from paid $750.00 and with 5 parts still the same issue. so bottom line they didn't resolve anything but relieving me of my money.I traded the honda in on a FORD and will never purchase a honda product (lawn equipment,cars,or bike.) again. I didn't rate the tec due to the fact I don't they have to call California to get instructions on how to work on the vehicles.

As a regular customer of the dealership for service on my 2003 Civic, my decision to buy came on the heels of making some major repairs in a 30-day period. My service tech, a woman named Lynn, gave me a loaner -- an Accord -- and I liked the feel of it. I returned the Accord after just one day, but Lynn had gone for the day, so I returned the next day to question some of the repairs, and asked her to connect me with a sales person. I met with Paul Savastano, who was new, briefly to discuss some Civics for sale on the website. One, a leftover 2015, sold later that day, a Saturday. A 2015 Honda Fit came up on the website over the weekend, but I had to work Monday and Paul was off Tuesday. I returned Wednesday, test drove the Fit, which had 7,377 miles on it and had been used as a courtesy car.By the time I got back from the test drive, it was late in the day. I'd done my homework on the value of my trade-in, the price of the Fit, and where I needed to be OTD to make the purchase happen. I also filled out the brief financing application so they could run my credit score. But I walked out because I wasn't happy with the numbers. There were other customers waiting to look at the car, and if they got it, I figured it wasn't meant to be. But Paul emailed me that night that those customers couldn't get credit & the Fit was still available. I have an excellent credit score, and even though I was paying cash for the car, I think letting them run my credit worked in my favor. The next day Paul, sales manager Will Floyd and I came to agreeable terms by phone and I went to the dealership to give them a deposit but I didn't have to. Probably because it was the end of the month, they took my old Civic in trade and I drove off with the car with dealer plates BUT with an insurance ID card with the Fit's VIN# on it, which my insurance company emailed to me. That was a Thursday. I returned the following Tuesday with a check and they put my old plates from the Civic on the Fit. Which is a sensational little car that I actually fell in love with at first site when I first laid eyes on it in the showroom in 2014. This is the third car I have bought dealing one-on-one as a single woman in the past 20 years. It gets easier every time, if you're willing to do a little homework and know something about negotiating.

Shawn Lessig, the business manager, was invaluable in thoroughly explaining our options and various other warranties that were available for the vehicle. My wife and I were searching for a new car for my daughter. Her current vehicle had over 100K miles on it and we wanted to get her something reliable. We went to Hilton Head Honda. Our experience with Hilton Head Honda was fabulous. Brian Heidik was absolutely fantastic. We told him what our daughter was interested in and he showed us a number of options based on our criteria. There was absolutely no pressure from him to buy right away. We did not have to meet with the sales manager, etc. Brian worked with us on our timeline, they gave us a very fair trade in value for our vehicle and my daughter now has a reliable car. Our salesman Kevin Heasley was the best. To be honest I went to the dealership with an attitude because I was not interested in a Honda, my husband on the other hand had a different idea. As he said it "Every other car we see is a Honda CRV, all these people, the vehicle must be good!" Kevin was patient and kind, he definitely sensed that I was not interested and wanted a Volvo! We left the dealership and Kevin probably thought I will never see these people again. A few days later after a trip to the Volvo dealership that did not end well, my husband suggested that I take another look at the CRV. We walked in at 6:45 and found Kevin and I did take another good look at the CRV and dollar for dollar I got a brand new vehicle fully loaded for a lot less than than the Volvo and the staff at the dealership couldn't be any nicer! Kevin was a dream of a salesman, very nice not pushy! I am trying to talk my daughter into a new Honda.

Kudos to the parts deptartment and Jeff Kohler, I was visiting from out of state and placed an order for an radiator overflow tank for our Pilot. Upon checking the order they mistakely ordered the windshield fluid tank by mistake. They cancelled my order and agreed to send me a return credit reciept in the mail and I informed them I would order the part when i got home. When I arrived home I found a Honda package and note from Jeff, the correct part applogizing for the mistake and no charge for the part.

We had visited several competitors Showrooms checking out their vehicles.. Our intent was to ultimately boil down what we saw into a couple of makes and models. Honda was never in mix. While heading home after a Dr. visit we rode by Hilton Head Honda,. realizing at that point we missed them in our search. A quick U turn was made and we entered the lot. No sooner were we out of the car and a Salesman appeared, introduced himself and offered to help us. We thanked him and said we were just looking. ""No problem" he responded "but if you do have any questions I'll be right over here" Soon we were asking him questions about the CRV and he answered every one of them.. We told him we were going home to think about it and would call him if we had any more questions or had decided that was what we wanted. That happened and we set up an appointment for a test drive early the next morning. Two hours after our arrival we departed as the new Owners of a beautiful Honda CRV. It was without question the nicest, most cordial, negotiation and vehicle purchase we have ever made---and we're not kids. Brian Heidik, our Salesman, was extremely professional and most important, knowledgeable, regarding all phases of the sale and delivery. " ,

Dealership has been great to me for 9 years now. I have purchased 6 cars in 9 years from them and everyone from the receptionist to the parts department and service department to the sales team and yes, even the owner have been friendly and very accommodating to me. On April 19th I visited this dealership to try to get two problems fixed: Airbag light on dash stayed on- even though airbag did not deploy and the driver's seatbelt was locked after a minor (less than 3 mph) collision. I shared my - what I considered- bad experience, on this site that Tuesday afternoon.Jeff Pritchard, the service manager contacted me the next day to resolve my issues. He went over and above my expectations to assist me. If you have any problems, or don't think you are being treated right with service at Hilton Head Honda make sure you ask to speak with Jeff. Our recent experience at Hilton Head Honda was undoubtedly the most pleasant car buying process we have ever experienced. We worked with Mr. Kewyn Willams, who was an absolute gentleman as he introduced us to the various trim levels and available options on the vehicle we were considering.Mr. Williams was both patient and knowledgeable as he led us through the numerous tech upgrades that have evolved in recent years, and at no time did we feel pushed or pressured to make an uninformed or hasty purchase. Our final choice came down to two competing brands, and it was Mr. Williams' professional conduct and courtesy that led us back to Hilton Head Honda. I am never sure if I actually got "The Best Deal" on a new vehicle, but I am sure that this was the easiest and most pleasant car purchase that I have ever made, and I think the purchase price was fair.Hopefully, my level of confidence in Hilton Head Honda will continue to be as satisfying, when the time comes to work with the service department.

Colleen Gibbs approached me at the coffee bar, introduced herself as my sales associate, and it was instant connection! She is knowledgeable, warm and friendly, and so very helpful. She spent a great deal of time with me on our first sit-down, answering all my many questions - or finding the answers she didn't know - explaining the features of the different models - over and over again - followed up on many issues, and eventually (on my 3rd visit) sent me home in the beautiful Accord, just as I wanted it, from features to color and a fair deal. This is the second car I have purchased from this service orientated dealership. The car I was looking for was very much in demand (the new HRV) and I checked every single dealership within 2 hours of Savannah GA. Hilton Head Honda was hands down the best price, service and overall communication. Now I know to save myself the time and effort and just go to Hilton Head Honda. They are the best!

We only went "looking" at vans because we knew that we were planning to purchase a new vehicle soon. We left Hilton Head Honda with a brand new Odyssey. We owned an older Odyssey and I love these vans. As a mother of three small children the Odyssey is the ideal vehicle. David was very professional and easy to work with. He also helped to make the process quick for us (which is a plus because I hate to be tied up all day with these type of purchases). Ive lived in the Low country for 10 years, and visited 4 dealerships during this time. In 2008, I was in the market for a new SUV and started my search at Stokes Honda in Beaufort. They let me test drive a Pilot overnight and the nightmare began the next day when I returned it. The salesman harassed me for 45 minutes, demanded I give him a down payment on the Pilot, and refused to give me my car keys until I threatened to call the police. Only then did he hand me my keys (which were in his pocket the entire time)The second experience happened a few weeks ago at Stokes Brown Toyota where I wanted to test drive a Highlander. I had a very short list of things I wanted in my new car (leather, dark exterior color with 30K miles) and the Highlander they had me drive had none of these. After 1.5 hours of pointless negotiations, they chased us out the door wondering why we wouldnt purchase the Highlander (white, cloth interior, 40k miles). They called my husband 3 times on our way home.Jaded and frustrated, we stopped in at Hilton Head Honda and immediately had a good feeling. Todd Kelley was outstanding to work with. We never felt pushed to purchase, never felt we were taken advantage of, and our overall experience was great. We have already recommended this dealership to a few friends in the area. We appreciate everything they did for us and have enjoyed my Pilot.Thank you

I went to look at a 2014 Accord EX-L they had used for a good price. Salesperson was very helpful and got the test drive, and information about the car. Transaction went smoothly and I left with an awesome car at a reasonable price. Car was detailed prior to my leaving and it was spotless and looked brand new. I recently moved to Hilton Head ,South Carolina and needed a car. I narrowed my search to 3 brands and after test driving the vehicles I decided to purchase a new CRV EX-L with Navigation. The color combo I wanted needed to be factory ordered and will take approximately 3 weeks to deliver. That meant that the only car I would have to drive is my wife's Honda Accord which is a great car but because it is low to the ground it is very painful for me to get in and out of because I walk with a cane due to serious back issues and my left hip is bone on bone. I asked if I could pay a premium to speed up delivery and their response was to give me a CRV loaner for free until my new car arrived. They also delivered my wife's honda to my house so I wouldn't have to drive it back. Debbie my sales contact at the dealership could not have been nicer to me and the negotiating process was painless. I could not be happier with the people and the actions that they took during the process of purchasing my new car. I would recommend them to anyone not because they were nice to me but because they acted in a way that makes me believe that the business philosophy of the dealerships owners is very customer oriented. We are long time Honda car owners. We have owned at least 8 Hondas since the early 1980s. Our old Honda had reached the 10 year age mark and we decided to trade it in for a new car. Our good experiences during the last 9 years with Hilton Head Honda for the servicing of our old car was a spring-board for looking for a new Honda. Randy Earls of Hilton Head Honda provided a pleasant car buying experience for us. He honed in on what we were specifically looking for and he gave us uninterrupted and courteous attention throughout the entire buying process. While Hilton Head Honda originally didn't have the specific color for the car we wanted, Randy searched until he was able to locate our preference. We are retired and we had to juggle some financial aspects to close the purchase deal. Randy and Hilton Head Honda were able to come up with some creative methods that allowed us to proceed to a quick and satisfactory conclusion. Once the deal was finalized, we had to wait for the new car to be delivered to the dealership. We were put into a new courtesy car to drive for the two days it took to get the car. We are pleased to have such a good local Honda Dealership close to us for both service as well as the purchase of our new car. Our 2012 Honda Pilot flashed an engine light when we were 700 miles from home. We had our vehicle serviced at Hilton Head Honda. Repairs were going to take a few days however, we needed to get home. HHI Honda provided us with a loaner to drive home until our vehicle was fixed. They promptly called us when repairs were complete and worked with us on the return to retrieve our vehicle. Making our minds up that a Honda Accord would be a terrific vehicle we began the process on line of purchasing the car. The loan application process was simple, streamlined and required only a short period of time to complete. Shawn Essig the finance manager promptly followed up with us the next day and verified our information and vehicle choice. Randy Earls our sales associate then promptly followed up and verified the vehicle trim level and colors we desired.. It was our desire to not spend hours at the dealership completing forms and waiting for this person to approve something and that person to approve something, then waiting while the vehicle was prepared for delivery, as had been our experience in 25 years of buying cars. I was pessimistic the entire process at Hilton Head Honda would be any different. Wow was I ever wrong! It is a cliche to say that we had the best buying experience of our lives, but we did. I can not recommend this dealership any higher and the exceptional staff and service you will find at Hilton Head Honda. Everything was completed and waiting for us to arrive, correct and the entire process could not have been simpler and any more efficient. This is how car buying should be! In April, 2015 I leased a Honda CR-V from Hilton Head Honda in Bluffton, S.C. My sales persons name was David Salkin. He was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with all the aspects of leasing the car. It has been my experience that most car sales people are overbearing and pushy,non of which was David Salkin. I was in the market for a used, Certified PreOwned Civic. It's to easy to check online for prices, and vehicle records, so I shopped around the Savannah, SE Georgia area. Numerous dealerships in this area had Civics that had ben sitting on the lots for 3 months, but they were all asking about 2,000 more then what KBB, Edmunds said the cars were worth. 2 here in Savannah about 3,000 high. I don't care it the car has navigation, everyone has a smartphone with navigation now. I was going to pay all at once, no finance, no hassle.Debbie contacted me, and from the start was honest about the pricing. After not being able to get up to HHI till Saturday, Debbie was waiting. David Salkin, Sales & Leasing Consultant did an excellent job! He promptly greeted us upon our arrival and asked how he could help. We had a general idea of what we wanted and David showed us several cars and fully explained all about the various options. We went for a test drive with him and he showed us everything on the car. It helped us decide on exactly what we wanted. He did not do the pricing but the initial offer was too high. We did not do our homework thoroughly regarding the prices on the model we wanted and what people in the area were paying. So we went home, did our research and returned 2 days later to settle on the price. Once that was done David took our deposit and said he would call when the car arrived. He called a week later and we went in to do the insurance paperwork and David did a great job taking care of it. When we came to pick up the car, David showed us everything about the car. He took all the time we needed and we were fully briefed. The new car was polished and shiny! David even made a follow up call a few days after we got the car to see if we had any questions. David did a great job and I would strongly recommend any one looking at vehicles there ask for him.Thanks David, great job!

My experience was enjoyable. Debbie was great to work with and I rate my dealings from good to excellent. I did feel somewhat rushed through, as I did not expect to be driving out of there with a new car and I felt I wanted to return home to empty the old car, etc. It worked out but I was out of breath, so to speak. It's been a couple of weeks and I am still waiting for my registration from DMV. Hopefully, this week. I enjoyed Debbie and look forward to working with her again. I do not recall the name of the gentleman she worked with for the price as he is the one who acted like a true car salesman, and he is the one who made me feel rushed. Overall, everything is fine now, car is great, drives nice and I am enjoying it but glad it's over for another three years!!

I sent in for a quote on a Honda Pilot and Patrick called me the next day. We talked and he helped me figure out what would work best for our family. He was so great that over the phone we set up an appointment. He checked in a few times and was so great!! He referred us to Michael Kirkland to help us on the day we got there since he got tied up in another sale. Patrick had given Michael all of our info and briefed him on everything he and I had previously discussed. Michael took us on a test drive and showed us different model, years, colors, and types to help us figure out what we wanted. We told him what we were shooting for in price & payments and they made it happen!! Their was no going back and forth. The first offer was great!!! Everyone was so sweet and we could tell that Hilton Head Honda is not about taking advantage or trying to rip someone off!! They were straight forward and the process was so easy!! Michael even took us around to meet the other department staff. Everyone was so friendly and great!! Even meeting with the business dept, Frank (i think that's his name). He was great too! To start, I must explain my predicament. Upon taking my 18yr old vehicle in for an oil change, my faithful van had a catastrophic engine problem. It would never leave the shop on its own power. A few days later my wife's 20yr old car decided it could not go on with out the little van and it too died.So there we were without a single vehicle. Debbie Suiter of Hilton Head Honda really came to the rescue for us. We told her what we were looking for, and what we could afford. Frank in finance did a marvelous job getting the payments to where we needed them to be. When I arrived, expecting to buy an old rust bucket, held together with dental floss and bubble gum, I got a huge shock! You must realize I had not bought a car in almost 20 years. Debbie had a beautiful 2014 Honda CRV waiting for me. It was exactly what I wanted but was unsure if I could afford it. After driving a 18yr old mini van, this was like a space ship. Debbie said it was a very basic model. I don't think I could handle anything with more bells and whistles in the vehicle. Needless to say, this was beyond my wildest expectations. It was in my price range and now I have it proudly parked in the drive.As for my wife, Debbie found her a beautiful Honda Accord, which is the perfect fit for her, I mean it fits her like nothing else. We drove from 2.5 hours away to purchase a Honda Odyssey because we couldn't find the one we wanted locally. Days before we arrived, Patrick Finn called me to give me detailed information about the condition of the car. He kept in touch via e-mail throughout the week. When we finally got down there, Patrick had the van all ready to go for a test drive. He knew that I was picky about used vehicles so he made sure it had been thoroughly detailed. When I wanted to see the service records on the vehicle, he made it happen. We are very pleased with the vehicle and the whole purchase process. It was a very pleasant car-buying experience. I have dealt with a lot of car salesmen over the years and had some bad experiences. Patrick Finn is by far the best car salesman that I have ever encountered. He doesn't even act like a salesman. It's more like having a friend helping you. He has a servant's heart, and I know that you'll be impressed with his service. What a great expierence! Used the feature online to get in contact with the dealership. Shortly after we received a call from Michael Kirkland. We discussed the 2013 Dodge Durango I inquired about. After doing some internet searching I gave Mike a call back and set up a test drive. Made the short drive from Beaufort and was welcomed by Dave who introduced me to Mike. We wasted no time and went out for the test drive. He drove then we switched. He was very informative and answered all questions truthfully. Once we got back to the dealership we started talking numbers. Even though we couldn't come to settle that day, I received a call shortly after. Once we came to an agreement I drove back to HH Honda a couple days later to finalize the deal. Michael was sick so I worked with Nicole who was very polite, helpful, and very efficient. She asked me a few questions while they appraised my trade in. Once the appraisal was complete Nicole and I finalized some paperwork and I was sent to Finance to speak with Shawn. Shawn was very knowledgeable and answered all questions I had. Got the car I wanted, at the price I wanted, and without the hassle. GREAT group of workers. I recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back for my next car purchase. Good luck Mike on the new baby boy!

We've purchased one used car from HH Honda (2 years ago) and recently looked at a few on their lot. Can't speak about the new car sales experience, but I thought I'd add this review to point out that this dealer must have a no-recondition policy for their used cars and that's surprising when you compare them to their competition. In both cases we were surprised by how dirty the cars were, and in some instances, that the dealership was willing to put cars on the lot with warning lights a-blazing or with serious problems (tire with a huge gash in it, damaged interior trim that exposed metal surfaces, etc.). Last time they had the only car of the type we wanted in the area; this time it was easy to walk.Again, if that's the policy, unofficial or official, that's cool. Just know that there are places nearby that put a little more effort in making their used inventory saleable.

I was in need of a new(er) car, two friends have Honda's, two friends work for Honda in another state and my dad bought my mom Honda's. I needed a reliable and comfortable car after driving a very old Ford T-bird for many years past her prime. I went in to Hilton Head Honda to test drive two different models. I was really interested in the Crosstour but thought it out of my price range. We started with the Crosstour. Ali at HH Honda had paired me with Debbie Suiter and off we went. First, both of these women were friendly welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I like working with women for big ticket items and this was a rarity. I had just planned to test drive. We chatted after driving the Crosstour, amazing car, and I had to leave as I had borrowed my son's truck. We talked about what I was comfortable with paying in monthly payments, credit stuff, and off I went. I got a call from Ali by the time I got home, which is a few miles away. She told me what they were offering. I went back in my T-bird and in a short hour, left with a brand new CrosstourIt is the best decision I ever made. Debbie and Ali were wonderful and supportive. I recently bought a new 2014 Accord at Hilton Head Honda and would not recommend this dealership to anyone considering buying a new car. I went one day to test drive the Accord and the salesman had me test drive the wrong car (a V-6 vs. a 4 cylinder) and didn't realize this until I pointed it out. I needed a few days to decide what color I wanted and contacted the salesman to confirm the details on a Thursday. He asked for a deposit so he could go ahead and get the car from another dealership. I put $1000 down and he said the car would be in on Monday. On Monday, I drove to the dealership and on the way I spoke with the salesman to confirm that the car was there so it wasn't a wasted trip. He told me the car would be there "any minute" and we should get the paperwork started to speed things up. Once I arrived at the dealership it became clear that the car was not anywhere close to arriving "any minute" as it hadn't even been picked up from the dealership. However, when I said I would come back and do the paperwork and purchase the car once it had arrived the next day, the salesman told me that they couldn't guarantee the price or that I would get that color anymore (even though I had put down a deposit on that specific color combination). He assured me that they do this all the time and the car would be in perfect condition when it arrived. I went ahead and agreed to the sale. They gave me a loaner car to drive until the new Accord arrived and when I took it, it had less than a quarter of a tank of gas in it.The next day, the car arrived and I went to pick it up. I got in to drive it away and discovered it had 500 miles already on the odometer. This was completely unacceptable to me, as I had been told repeatedly that if I purchased the car it would arrive in perfect condition. There was no mention that it would already have that many miles on it.I spoke with the manager, Miguel, and he offered to knock off a little bit of money from the price of the car due to the mileage. While I appreciated that, I felt that the entire experience was designed to make me purchase the car by the end of the month with little regard for honesty. I love the Accord and would recommend anyone purchase this vehicle but I would never buy another car from Hilton Head Honda and would tell anyone who asks that it's worth the extra drive to Savannah, Beaufort, or Charleston just to avoid having to buy a car from this dealership.

I stopped at the GMC dealership just prior to visiting Honda and they did not even take the time to give me a trade value on my car because they did not feel I was a serious buyer at the time of visit. Less than two hours after leaving this dealership I visited Hilton Head Honda and they quickly gave me a fair value on my trade and we bought a new CRV. This was the best visit that I had in any of the cars that I have ever bought. We did not have the unnecessary back and forth with the sales rep and manager. Both Debbie and her manager acted quickly in answering all questions and did not undervalue our trades as other dealers have done in the past. This is the third Honda Pilot I have purchased from Hilton Head Honda and this current experience was fantastic. My sales rep was Mr. Tim Treisch and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with my purchase of a new 2014 Honda Pilot EX-L. Since I wanted a specific color he had to seach other dealers to get the car I desired. Within a couple of days the found was found and was delivered to the dealership. He made the completion of paperwork very easy and followed up on all aspects of the purchase. My daughter, who now lives in Hilton Head, was purchasing her first car and she could not have had a better experience! I leased a 2012 Honda Civic for my son as a first car in November of 2010. The car was leased from a Honda Dealer in Savannah GA, however this service department is closest to where I live. The car itself has worn into expected used condition except for one problem. The paint. In general it is very thin throughout the whole car, does not wax well, and scratches with ease. When I asked bodyshops about this they agreed on the quality but were more obsessive over the crows feet on the hood. They suggested I let Honda know because their was a high chance it was under warranty. Initially I found the service department helpful. This was before they failed to contact my son or I and "lost"? the paperwork for the claim. During my first visit regarding the issue, pictures were taken and my son was referred to a bodyshop. After receiving the quote from the body shop he returned. Somewhere between there and a few months later, he made a phone call to check on the situation. He was told the photographs were declined due to quality. At this point in time we were discouraged because with the amount of time in between we were hoping we would be scheduled for it to get fixed soon. Wrong. He took it in again as requested and they cleaned the car before taking the photos, they sent him on his was after apologizing. Later in the month he called to find out when we would have an answer, the gentlemen was short and said we would be contacted by the 10th of April 2014. The 12th rolled around and to no surprise - no call. He lost hope and I was not the one following up on the situation so I had him call again with time in between, in hopes they would have news for us. When he called again after the 10th he was told that they had NO RECORD of a claim regarding this issue. A more kind lady he spoke with let him know she would try to find the correct information and call him back. Again NO CALL BACK. On April 26th 2014, I had him make yet another effort towards fixing our problem. At this point the paint is even worse, the car is over the leasing mileage, and any attempt at fixing it has been a waste of time and complete fail. He was told on this date that he would have to bring the car in AGAIN (photos have been taken twice). The lady he spoke with was the same one who told him she would give us a call. After about a 3 minute conversation regarding the inconsistent and completely unreliable employees there, her best answer was to put the old manager in blame. This didn't help us at all anPathetic and unhelpful would be my best description of our experiences with this dealed its quite ridiculous the vehicle needs to be brought back a THIRD time for the SAME thing. When the lady ran out of answers that had nothing to do with our actual claim, a "gentleman" abruptly took over the phone conversation. He did not introduce himself, he did not ask for our contact information, he just repeated that the car needed to be brought in. He was extremely rude and disrespectful to my son - at one point he said " I don't want to hang up but am done talking " - We both looked at the phone in disbelief. rship in regards to anything besides an oil change. Multiple employees at Honda do not follow through with what is said, weed around the bush, and ultimately lie.

I leased a Pilot from this dealer 2 years ago and was extremely unhappy with the sales people all of them. I was planning to go to Beaufort dealership when my lease was up. I received a letter in the mail from Hilton Head Honda to exchange my car early, I thought it was a scam and just went in to see. To my surprise I worked with Debbie Suiter she was a wonder, followed up on everything and I leased a new Pilot. She certainly was the reason I leased from Hilton Head Honda. But let me say there must have been some changes In the dealership, from the receptionist to the manager Shawn, I don't remember his last name but he was excellent. Overall a great and surprising experience.

We stopped for a car wash of my CRV that we bought there at H H Honda last year and ended up purchasing an Odyssey Touring Elite from Patrick Finn, a fine young man. When I mentioned my husband was interested in the new Odyssey, Patrick happily began explaining the features and options. He first showed the one on the showroom floor then stepped outside to show us the selection of different models and choices that he could offer. Being a young man he is very tech savy and knows how all the new stuff works, and even more importantly to us, he was eager to help us learn and understand for ourselves. We are retirees, and yet he pleasantly related to us as if we were already good friends. He is a longtime Honda fan, and his enthusiasm and pride in the cars showed. One thing we appreciated about him was his humility. If he himself was not sure about a thing, he would not bluff his way through as if he already knew all the answers, but he would seek the answer so that he could give us only correct information. We feel confident with our purchase and know Patrick will eagerly help us in the future with anything we might need.

I took my 2012 Fit in for the annual service and walked around to the showroom floor to talk to someone about refinancing to a lower interest rate. I walked out with a 2013 Honda Fit at a much lower rate and lower payments than my 2012. Service came over and said I had a bubble on a tire, and the gentleman said fix it as that vehicle is now ours. Dan McGinnis is a fantastic associate with Honda. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Shawn Lessig did a gareat job of figuring either a refinance deal or the new vehicle deal. I have worked with him before and think very highly of him. I have been doing business with this dealership since 2002 and wouldn't go anywhere else. When I lived in Ohio, I always wanted a Honda especially after going through the plant in Marysville; however, we didn't have a dealership in Van Wert and owned a business so felt we had to purchase our vehicles locally. Through an internet service I contacted several Honda dealerships regarding the 2014 CRV. Todd promptly called me and we arranged an appointment for a test drive. He is friendly, thoroughly professional and well versed on product features. We discussed the time frame for making a purchase as well as trade-in and financing options. Several days later he followed up by phone at which time I told him I was getting competitors pricing, but would meet with him to also get his dealership's best price. I signed the contract that day. Never during any of our conversations did I feel pressured to make a decision "right now".When I picked up the car on 12/21/13 Todd went over the various features of the car and took the time to help set-up the Bluetooth connection. This was a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend Todd and Hilton Head Honda.

After many not so pleasant visits with another local Honda dealer, I decided to give HH Honda a try. Rick Jackson has been more than helpful each time I've had to come in for service. Lately, I've made several trips!! I will never go to another dealer for service. August 2013, I bought new tires for my '05 Odyssey Touring. (not a cheap purchase) Two days after I got them, I picked up a screw/screwdriver/bit/etc and had a flat tire. It was a Sunday, so no one was open. I aired it up Monday morning and drove to my local dealer, not wanting to damage the tire by driving a further distance to HH Honda. I waited an hour, just for the service tech to come out and tell me that "he didn't have a pax certified technician that could work on my van". Well, this infuriated me. Any good service tech should know 1) Odyssey's with original rims have pax tires 2) a certified technician is needed 3) who he has working that day and if any of them are, in fact, certified. No... I wasted an hour. AND when I asked for my keys, was told that "when we tested your battery, it shows that it needs to be replaced". Wait a minute... I wasn't there to have my battery checked. I was told that it wouldn't crank when the tech went to drive it into the garage. Funny, I drove it to the dealership just fine! I asked for my keys again, and was told "there will be no charge for today". I just laughed. They jumped it off for me, I got in my van, called HH Honda, and told Jason Carlson about the situation and that I was on my way. I drove my van to HH Honda and in about an hour, was back on the road again. Being a female, it seems that we get taken advantage of sometimes in situations like these. I have never felt like that at Hilton Head Honda. I drive up, Rick knows my name, what year/make I drive and what college football team I pull for. Now, perhaps you think that means I'm there too much... I think that its just excellent customer service. This is just one of the many reasons that I'll continue to be loyal to HH Honda.

I have been to the service center 2 times for a popping noise in the front end of my Honda Pilot. First time I was told they can't find the problem. If is happens again just come by. The second time, I was told I needed a new strut, so I replaced both. 45 minutes after driving with $926 worth of struts and labor, the popping is back and worse. I don't feel safe driving my Honda. I don't feel I should have to spend money, when the problem can't seem to be identified. I don't have time to sit in the service department and get "let's try replacing this". Sent and e-mail last week, and still no reponse. I'm sure if I go in this weekend, I'll get the 'let us take a look' answer.

The service was fine on 11/15/13, except for one issue. After an extremely windy storm just prior to my appointment at your dealership,I found the dip stick for transmission fluid entangled with my windshield wipers. I could not find where the dipstick should be inserted and brought it in for my service. The hood had not been opened since my last service. The dipstick was probably laying on something under the hood and ended up in the windshield wipers.I have been told that any impurity in the transmission fluid is not a good thing, and it should have been replaced. Tracy did a superb job in identifying the problem with our Honda Odyssey Navigation System and ordered the part to fix the system. Tracy said the part would be in within two days and that he would call us. True to his word the part was in within the two days and when Tracy called to tell us the part was available we made an appointment to take the Odyssey in for the repair the next day. We asked Tracy how long it would take for the repair he estimated it would be about one hour. When we arrived for our appointment Tracy and his team took us on time and completed the work in 55minutes.Fantastic service in a Friendly enviroment

The only dissatifier (and it applies to all the dealers I visited) is you don't get a good deal on first brush. After initial quotes, the dealers got in a pricing war. Unfortunately, in most cases, buying a new car is a hassle. I have only had one experience in buying a new car that a dealer gave me his best offer day one. I had checked other dealers to know that. If you only visit one dealer, you will not know the value of the offer.

Approximately 2 months ago, I stopped at HH Honda to just look. Dan McGinnis was the first person I met. He was friendly and informative and showed me some great cars and prices. Since it just didn't seem like the time to buy we decided to wait. Well, on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, I became desperate for a car at a GREAT price, and I remembered working with Dan. I called the dealership to ask if they had anything I was looking for, telling them my situation and that I would be there in moments. Upon arrival my first contact was with Grant who I had spoken to on the phone. He told me that Dan was not available but he could help. After me telling him my desperate story and very limited time frame to purchase a car, he thought for a few seconds and immediately came up with the car I purchased. The deal on the Pilot sounded too good to be true as it was exactly what I needed, I was even able to drive it by myself. I of course was very skeptical and being such that I was desperate, I wondered if he was being the typical sales person saying what ever it took to get me to make the deal and buy the car. He was patient and listed to all my cynical questions and doubt, and never became impatient. Saying earlier I had a time crunch, I had to leave and take care of issue with another car. Grant never pushed even then. In those several minutes I was gone, he called me to let me know there was another customer interested in the car. After coming back, Dan was available and Grant immediately turned me over to him, to continue the process. Dan also was patient and answered all my questions and questionable doubts. My last question to both of them was: "Would you purchase this car for your grandchildren?" Neither Grant nor Dan took any offense to this and both immediately said yes they would. I knew the way they answered it was truthful and that sold me. Next came the financial portion, Shawn was awesome in make it all happen. I was in a difficult desperate situation, with limited options and he made it all work. A few hours later while driving to work I got a call from Shawn, telling me that he had found even a better deal for me as far as financing. Saturday morning, my husband and I stopped back and within minutes walked out with paper signed.As I stated earlier, I was desperate for a car. Early Friday morning, while driving this car home, from college, my sons hit a wild boar and rendered our PT cruiser unsafe and undrivable. Dan spoke with the service department and they are going to put the car up on the rack to give us an estimate of all that is damaged with the car.... at no cost to us. I can't say enough about how professional, friendly, courteous and helpful all three gentleman. So THANK YOU, Grant, Dan and Shawn for making it all work for us. All within 3 hours time, and I never felt pressured by any of you. I never felt like any of you were in it just for the sale of a car.

In April, 2013, I drove into Hilton Head Honda, intending to look at the new Honda Civics to replace an 8-year-old Mazda. I had always been a Honda fan, but had bought the Mazda when I needed a hatchback and Honda wasn't making one in a small model at that time. Since my teenage son had learned to drive on my Mazda (need I say more?!) and was now off to college, I was now ready for a new car that would not need to be in the shop for anything other than regular maintenance.A For-Sale 2000 BMW Z3 called out my name when I drove into the parking lot! I knew it was impulsive, and not anything I had intended to purchase, but it was in such good shape and looked like it had been cared for with kid gloves, so I was hooked. It had no warranty, of which I was fully aware.HH Honda was generous enough to replace a leaky radiator and the hydraulics for the seat controls before I even signed the paperwork.The ensuing troubles are too numerous to mention (and I would rather not re-live the experience!). Suffice it to say that HH Honda paid for many of the repairs that they were NOT obligated to take care of, and I was very grateful. The last straw was when the transmission needed to be rebuilt. I went back to Honda with my tail between my legs, hoping they would take the BMW in trade and help me to be able to purchase the originally-intended Civic.Evans Simons, the New Car Sales Manager, went over and above to work out a trade-in and a deal that I could afford. He could not have been more gracious, apologizing for the trouble I had, handling all the paperwork, and allowing me to pick up my new car the next day.Two lessons learned: One, to NEVER buy on impulse (and without a warranty), and Two, to ALWAYS buy a car from Hilton Head Honda.

I had my 2003 Honda Pilot in for service at the Honda Bluffton dealership. While there, as one might expect, the new cars on the show room floor caught my eye. As my daughter, from Virginia, had recently purchased a new CR-V I found myself interested in that model. My interest grew and as most do I began a research agenda looking at specification and competitive pricing for the CR-V EX-L w/navigation. With info in hand I made a stop at the dealership and it was my good fortune to meet Dan McGinnis. He represented the dealership very well, and I found him to be competent, knowledgeable and with a desire to not only make a sale but to satisfy my interest in the car of my choice. Happily I drove away with my new 2014 CR-V the same day, but not before Dan spent a good hour providing detailed information on the operation of some of electronics of our new Honda CR-V. A good experience was had and we would highly recommend Dan McGinnis as well as the dealership he represents.

Working with Grant Boss is a pleasure. Too often the sales people are "hustlers" and pressure you ... they have to do it, and you feel it. That is not the case with Grant. This entire purchasing experience was friendly, unpressured and accurate in all details. I've purchased many cars in my lifetime, this was the first time the experience was actually enjoyable. Grant made the process simple (even though today's transaction requires a PILE of paperwork). The car is beautiful, it is everything is was advertised to be. In fact my parents bought a CRV from them based on my own experience and advice. Both times I did the deal over the phone told Tony what I wanted to spend and we made a deal from there, no beating around the bush just a straight answer and they deliver on their promises.

Our experience started well and then went sour.We negotiated by phone to buy a 2009 Buick Enclave with 67 k miles Made the 160 mile trek to get it on 8/21/13. We were told on our arrival that the check engine light had come on and they would fix it. Everyone was cordial. We were loaned a new Accord to go get some lunch while they worked on it.By 3:00 we left for home, happy with the Enclave. About 5 days later the engine light came back on. Off and on. Off and on. Took it to our technician 9/12 when the light was on. (the light has to be on to pull a code) He said it was code 17.After conversations with the service manager and general sales manager, I was told that I bought it "as is" and they were not doing anything.We did buy it without purchasing an extended warranty. However, it seems they could have offered help in some way when a problem arose so quickly.

HHH is without a doubt the most "customer friendly" dealership we have ever encountered. We are senior ciizens so we have experienced many dealership and usually end up purchasing a Buick. We started thinking about a Honda because of their long-life and retaining value. From the day we walked into Honda and met Jim Sofias we were easily convinced that a Honda was the way to go. The greatest thing we like about HHH is they treat you the same way when you go back for maintenance service as they did as a "potential customer". We can see no change in their welcoming attitude - and that is very rare these days. Jim Sofias and Shawn (in the financial department) are great assets to this dealership.

I already own a 2003 Accord, purchased at this Dealership. It has over 80,000 miles and it still runs beautifully. I have always had great service here as well as in Port St. Lucie in the 90's.so it was not a difficult decision about where to buy a second vehicle. My wife and I are very happy with the Civic. We would like to thank Tim for being there for us and he went out of his way being patient while decisions about color etc. went back and forth between us. I am "up there" age wise and Tim's explanations over, for us "complex", details regarding all the settings were extremely helpful. I will have no problem in recomending both Tim and Hilton Head Honda to anyone looking for a new car. Your Service Department also figures in this decision

My three boys and I walked into the dealership to test drive a CR-V and Pilot, both at the cheapest price with leather. John Albridge took us immediately to the car we asked for, then let us take a drive, by ourselves. He shared some of the amenities, but quickly realized we had done our research. They gave me the best deal on my trade in, better than the Toyota dealership (traded in a Sienna van and got $1500 more from Honda!). They showed me the cars I wanted and didn't give me the hard sell. They treated my boys and me with respect and kindness. I highly recommend this team. My initial visit to take a closer look at a specific vehicle and obtain some information resulted in some serious consideration and ultimately a purchase. The sales staff were very helpful and low key. The atmosphere was friendly and informal. I have owned Honda vehicles previously and felt that this dealership was a automotive/service location I could be very comfortable with for the next several years. Went by to look at a CR-Z which my 90 year old mother fell in love with and wanted to purchase. I had expected back and forth haggling but this was not the case. Basically no haggling as he presented the correct deal up front. I had already researched the trade in value as well as the proper buying price for the CR-Z. and his figures were right on the money. My husband and I were trying to decide whether to lease or buy a new car to replace my Nissan Murano. We stopped by Hilton Head Honda and met Tim. He was informative, considerate and helpful. After test driving an Odyssey and going across the street to test drive a Toyota Sienna, we were not only impressed with the way the Odyssey drove, but even more impressed with Tim's graciousness and attitude. Toyota sales managers had followed us to our car, trying every possible ploy to get us to buy a Toyota--we were so irritated! We returned to Tim and test drove a few more cars and decided on our steel blue Odyssey. Not only are we very pleased with our leased car--it drives like a dream--but we went back and purchased another Honda (Crosstour) for our second car! We have not had any experience with the service department yet (a good thing not to need so soon!), but they have a wonderful reputation in the area.Thanks go to Tim and the Honda team! I asked for an E-price online price quote for a Civic, we had a little mis-communication on which year I wanted, but that could have been worked out. I worked out the price and trade with Deirdre who passed it along to Tony. When I got there, Tony did not seem to know much about our conversation. Which seems to be more of the norm these days with dealership, the internet department works out a deal to get you in and then you start all over with sales when you get there. Not very considerate of the customers time. The trade in was different when I arrived, but I can not fault them entirely for that because a few new problems came to light when I arrived at the dealership, but they were lowering the price before they even looked at the car. I can't say my experience was either bad or good with Hilton Head Honda, it was just your typical car dealership.

Tony was great. He walked the lot to find the car that I wanted, worked with me for a great deal, was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. All things considered, this was undoubtedly the least complicated, most pleasant auto leasing or buying experience my wife and I have ever had! This is the second vehicle we have leased through Hilton Head Honda. We went to the dealership to get a look at new 2013 models prior to the end of our current lease (mid-summer). My wife was most interested in the Crosstour. Dan McGinnis did an excellent job of detailing the vehicle for us and laying the groundwork for rolling over from our current lease into a new lease on a 2013 Crosstour. He then turned us over to Evans Simons, the Sales Manager who presented us very quickly with a no-nonsense lease offer that enabled us to go right into a new vehicle with virtually no difference in our monthly payment from our previous lease with only dealer prep and first month's payment due upon our acceptance. We were extremely pleased. The finance manager, Shawn Lessig, then took over and completed the transaction without a hitch.The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating even though we were approaching the end of the work day. Mr McGinnis then saw to it that I was well informed on all of the finer points on our new vehicle. As I said initially, a thoroughly easy and pleasant experience.

The check engine light in my 2006 Honda Odyssey was actuated by a wire (not visible or easily accessible) that had been chewed by a rodent. Jeff and Jason immediately diagnosed the problem. Jeff (parts manager) had the part in stock, and Jason (service advisor) immediately got my vehicle into the service bay to complete the repair. In addition, Jason noticed that I had a split windshield wiper, and two others which were worn , and replace those as well. The entire process was handled quickly, cheerfully and professionally. On a different visit about 6 months ago I had brought in my daughter's 2000 Honda CRV for an oil change service. Jason noticed that the spare tire, which was mounted on the rear tailgate had been slashed. It was an odd size which they did not have in stock, but I was able to find a tire, which they mounted at no charge. I highly recommend Hilton Head Honda. In fact, it is the service department, which primarily influenced me to buy a vehicle from this dealership.

The reason for my visit was an evaluation recall. The service manager, Jason, explained why the vehicle was recalled, what would be needed if the vehicle needed work and the percentage of problems. All this information, was very helpful. The service evaluation detected no problems, the waiting time was not long and the waiting room was pleasant, comfortable and clean. After the evaluation was finished, the whole process was explained again to my satisfaction and they also did a multi-point inspection without being asked. My experience with Hilton Head Honda is the best I have with any dealership in the many years of owning cars.
