I've used Homes Tuttle for most of my service work over the past few years and have typically found them to be very quick and responsive to my needs. Unfortunately, I reached out to them today, 2/15/21, to see if they could fix a front end alignment issue and properly balance the tires on a new 2021 F250 that I had just purchased and was told the earliest I could get it in was 3 weeks (March 8th). Or I could just leave it for 3-4 days and they would work it in. Though the service advisor was polite, he was unable to offer any other more timely solutions to fix the truck. I personally find these timeframes to be unacceptable, especially when the alignment issue causes excessive wear on the tires. It is for this reason that I've lowered my previous 5 Star rating down to 2 Stars. This my third update to this post. I took my truck back in for warranty work approximately three weeks ago. The service department has improved on each of my visits. I was greeted promptly and was able to get my truck checked in and leave within 10 minutes. My service advisor, Mike, even offered me a loaner vehicle. Mike kept me informed throughout the process about the repairs to my truck and got them completed in a timely manner. Overall great job by the service department. I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to my friends. An update to my earlier post. After making my original post, I was contacted by Mr. Jason Davis from the service department. He apologized for the calls not being promptly answered and asked if I'd be willing to give them a chance to work on my truck. Since they were willing to reach out to me, I was willing to give them a chance. I dropped it off the evening prior to my appointment and it was ready for pickup by late the following afternoon, which was a quick turnaround in my opinion and the work quality was good. I met Mr Davis and my service manager while I was there and they were both nice people and professional. My feedback for the dealership would be this. Everyone I dealt with was professional and appeared to be very busy. However, I didn't find the service area in general to be very personable or outgoing. When I pulled up in the service lane, I wasn't greeted by anyone and I wasn't really sure where I needed to go to get the truck checked in. I finally went inside and found a person with a name tag on and asked them how to get the truck checked in. He went and found a service adviser who helped me out and got me taken care of. The following day, the service adviser call and gave me a rundown on what was done and when the truck would be ready. His call was appreciated and very helpful. Due to my schedule, I wasn't able to pick it up until the following morning after it was ready. When I arrived the following morning, it was almost a repeat of my check in situation. I wasn't greeted by anyone and I had to go inside and ask questions of people with name tags until I was pointed to a person was able to help me out. Overall, the service department was able to get my truck in and out in a timely manner, but it wasn't very personable and I felt more like a number than a customer. Since they did reach out to me and do timely repairs, I've changed my rating from a 1 star to 4 stars. I've called the service department five times over the past two days to schedule service on a recall and a minor issue on my 2017 F-150. Nobody answers the phone on either their 800 line or the direct line. I'm not sure what's going on, but I guess I'll have to drive across town to get my service work done. Disappointing.

I gave this Ford Dealership $4,000 for a new transmission. Was quoted 2 week turnaround time. Took just over 4 weeks and all the blame was passed elsewhere everytime. When I got my vehicle back the engine splash guard was not installed correctly and was almost scraping the ground.. Makes me wonder what else they did not put back correctly. Best to try your luck at the south location.

I bought a new 2015 Ford Explorer Sport in January, 2015. I called for a service appointment on February 8, 2016. I have a problem with retraction and extension of steering column. They were taking appointments for the week of Feb. 15. I said I could bring it down after a doctors appointment (about 10:30). I was told if I brought it that late he wouldn't guarantee it would be looked at ( not fixed just looked at). I couldn't get a loaner car. I decided to wait until I get back home in the spring and go to a dealer that cares.

I took my Shelby 500 in for a oil change and it was driven approx. 5 miles after service. My display on the console was changed and have yet to get it back the radio was used and not returned to CD mode. My experience is no test drive is required after an oil change if done correctly. Test drive should not be required unless it had mechanical problems before hand.

Love our Expedition. With the exception of my arrival service was excellent, substitute staff was helpful. To explain: it was my first time using your service department. While there was no one waiting in the fast service lane or any lane (I had an appointment) I was surprised no one was immediately there to acknowledge me. About 2 minutes later a young lady asked me why I was there and I told her of my appointment made with (I can't remember his name). She said "just a minute". When she came out she said the gentleman I made the appointment with wasn't there but ??? would help me. He came out and took very efficient care of me. I was going to wait for the car. I was told it would be about an hour. He said an hour to and hour and a half. The time went quickly and the car was done in an hour and ten minutes. A pleasant surprise. Also pleased that Holmes Tuttle was true to their word "free maintenance for life". No costs for the morning. Wonderful!

I purchased a 2015 F-150 4x4 pickup. I am one of those people who can attest that our fleet of F-150s (over 30 of them) are routinely going 200,000 miles plus with little or no maintenance beyond oil changes, tires and recommended maintenance. In my opinion, the F-150 truck is the best vehicle in production today. This was however, my first experience with Holmes Tuttle Tucson. When you combine Holmes Tuttle quality of service, a great salesperson like Bob Schmidt with a winner vehicle like the F-150, you have a GRAND SLAM! Bob Schmidt at Holmes took excellent care of me and made sure I got exactly the vehicle, price point and delivery I was looking for. There is no question that I will come back to Holmes for my future purchases and Bob you are my guy! Outstanding guys, Outstanding!

I came in for a regular oil change on 9/19 and received excellent service from Randy Lucero. He also sat down with me and went over my inspection report, detailing areas of concern. While waiting on my vehicle to finish, Chet sat down with me just to chat. He was a very nice guy and seems like a great employee. I made a return trip within a matter of days to get an extra look at my power steering gear that Randy noted needed some attention. Jason Davis helped me set up that appointment and when it was all said and done, after an extra look, the gear didn't need any fixing. It was nice to see that the service people at Holmes-Tuttle were honest with me about the gear when they could have easily told me that it needed replaced or fixed. I appreciate the trust factor that Holmes-Tuttle always brings. Won't go anywhere else for service or car buying.

I tried to create an appointment online but kept receiving emails that my time was cancelled (the online system shouldn't list appointment times that are NOT available). So I called and asked to schedule my cars 65,000 check up. They scheduled me for the following week at the time I wanted. When I arrived for my appointment, there really didn't seem to be any one assigned to my car and no information was there for why I had brought it in. They are always very helpful in the service area but it would be nice if there wasn't a communication failure between the person scheduling and the people on the front line.

I traded in my "old" 2014 C-max energy for a brand new 2015 c-Max, mainly, because I was accumulating mileage too fast, sitting in such a comfortable automobile. The service we received to repair our Ford Fusion was excellent. Garrett Hering was our service advisor and we were very impressed. After having the Fusion stall twice in two days, we brought it in at approximately 3:30 PM and Garrett promptly had it tested. It was the throttle body and it was replaced and we were home by 5:00 PM. We were very pleased to have the problem solved so quickly.

It was easy to schedule an appointment. Mike Hill was great as usual. He makes sure that all the services are up to date on the car and also that he tells me the results of the inspection of the car and recommended repairs to be done and if they are critical and time frame I should consider having the work completed. I was easily able to make my appointment by phone. Once there I was seen to quickly and moved in to the waiting area where I had a late breakfast at the cafe, which was quite good, which one does not honestly expect from a service station. The service adviser (AS) was good but the time estimates were poor (MFL). It took too long. My appointment was for 10 AM and it was about 12:20 before I could get my keys and be gone. The customer should be given an estimate of time when making the appointment. I had expected 30 minutes to an hour.

I used to frequent Jim Click Ford. However, they dropped the ball the last time I attempted to purchase a truck in 2014. I couldn't get a sales person to assist me in a timely manner. Go figure! Usually they are there before you can shut down your car. So, I went to Holmes Tuttle, and have now purchased two F150s from them. I find the sales and service staff to be friendly and they make an effort to satisfy my demands, which may be many from time to time. I buy a truck primarily to tow with. I could not get the 2014 F150 with the 3.5 turbo engine to stay cool when towing up long grades, and no one could tell me why it was overheating. That was nothing that the sales staff or the service department could fix So no negative concerns against them. They tried to find the problem, as did another Ford dealer in California, with no success. Which prompted me to purchase the 2015 F150 with the 5.0, which I took for a trial run on 8/23/15 up a local mountain in Tucson, AZ, with no problems. The heat gauge never moved off of the usual mark, and it had plenty of torque for pulling the several steep grades on the mountain. I was almost a Dodge truck owner, but now I am back with Ford. I see my vehicle park on the ready line but was not called for about 45 min after, only after I went to the cashier to ask if my vehicle was ready and then your personal had to call for my keys so I could leave. My only gripe is when I picked up my vehicle... I wanted to make sure that the fluids in my vehicle were full. My oil was good but my power steering was and still is below the lower line indicator and my coolant was also below the indicator. The coolant was topped off but I was told that the power steering fluid was good being below the lower line indicator. I also asked about the transmission oil and I still don't know were to check that or if there is a dip stick for that like the engine oil. I will now have to ask a mechanic at my place of employment. From now on I will always ask to see fluid levels on my vehicle before leaving.. that is one mistake I did in trusting you. Which was a very costly one for me... A NEW ENGINE!

The only problem was that a 4 wheel alignment was done on the car without my prior authorization. this was brought to the service departments attention when the car was picked up and I was not charged for the service. This alignment should have never been preformed without the prior authorization. I do not believe that the alignment was needed since the car had less than 19,000 miles on it and had not been driven hard at all.

Garrett, our service adviser, met us with his usual friendly greeting and took our vehicle for servicing. Our wait was pleasant and short (less than 2 hours). The service was good but the cashiers seemed a bit distracted and we're not as cheerful as other times. They had different ones than the ones I've seen before. Normally if I have to wait the cashiers will look up and say, "I'll be with you in a moment". The cashier is the last person a customer sees so unfortunately they leave the lasting impression for customers. They can make or break the experience.

I did have 2 appointments with SYNC specialist Curtis Campbell.I found that he had all the best qualities necessary for anyone who is showing & teaching the essential information. He was very patient with me as I am notvery computer savy and he had to repeat information sometimes more then once. I notice my glove box had been looked in and yet the tech did not check the center console for the wheel lock.No one tried to call my cell to ask if I had the lock either...a bit lazy in my opinion.Other than that the service folks were great with greeting me and calling when the car was ready.

I met Mike Hill at 7 AM before his Thursday meeting and we went over the items that had to be done.I then took the shuttle back home since the three items to be done would take around 4 to 5 hours.Mike gave me a call at noon telling me that my vehicle was done, so I called the shuttle and they picked me up at the prescribed time and took me back to HTF. The vehicle was ready and waiting at theentrance to the service lobby. I paid my bill and off I went. All went smoothly and everyone I came incontact with was very nice to me. I have been a customer for 15 years and would not go anywhere else.Thank you.

We had our C-max in for a recall service on the battery and to repair a problem with the rear door sending a message on the display that it was "ajar" when it was closed. The rear door problem was not fixed during our first visit and had to schedule another visit. The problem was repaired on the second visit, althoughwe had a problem with the rental car, but the issue was resolved by our service advisor Garrett.

service good as always. One thing that was curious: I had maintenance for life oil change, etc., and also had the transmission flushed (210K miles). I assumed the two would be done simultaneously and take less than 2 hrs as I had an appointment 3 hrs later. The job took about 3 hrs, and I missed my appointment. When I mentioned it to a service advisor he said they don't do the jobs simultaneously. This seems pretty inefficient to me...

I purchased a 2014 Ford Fiesta, it gets great gas mileage (32.2 MPG) and is as fun to drive as the name! The service department is terrific. A couple of weeks ago I had my ford Explorer serviced. The dealership suspected there was some sort of leak. They recommended that I bring it in for a system flush. I did that last week. They found that the water pump needed to be replaced which was covered by the drive train warranty. All was fixed in a matter of a few hours. My family and I are leaving soon for an extended driving vacation. This on the spot diagnosis of my car's issue saved me from having to put in a new water pump away from home. My Lincoln MKS "died" right before I left on a trip. I called my salesman, Scott Patty, in desperation. He said the car was still under warranty and that my nephew could call the roadside assistance to come start it. Then my nephew brought the car in, got a "loaner" while the car was checked out. Bob Schmidt was great! He did everything possible to make sure I was completely satisfied with the vehicle I ordered and with the process along the way. Jennifer Miller was also very helpful and good to work with when Bob wasn't available. The order process took much longer than I was prepared for which caused issues for me, however Bob and Jennifer did their very best to keep me in the loop on the status of the vehicle all along the way. Holmes Tuttle Ford has a good team in their sales department. I would also like to mention that Mark Shows in the finance department respected my request not to pressure us to buy an extended warranty. He did explain in detail how the manufacturer's warranty has changed from years past from a full bumper to bumper warranty to a limited bumper to bumper warranty. The paperwork process went fairly quickly which I appreciated since my time is value too and I couldn't afford for the process to take hours. This was refreshing as compared to prior experiences at other dealerships. After all was said and done, everyone at HTF that I dealt with did their very best to make sure I was completely satisfied (which can be challenging to do at times). I commend and thank my team at Holmes Tuttle Ford!

We bought this used 2010 Explorer, 4.0, auto, a/c, towing pkg, etc, several months ago. This was our first service for that vehicle. We had driven it about 3,500 miles.I wanted to knew how many miles between oil changes. I did not get an answer. Some Explorers are scheduled to have oil changes every 7,500 miles. Mine did not reach that when the oil change message was received. Since I have maintenance for life, I realized it did not matter. I will have it serviced when I receive the next oil change message.

I called to schedule my maintenance for life and it was a bit frustrating because the lady scheduling the appointment couldn't seem to understand that I needed a morning appointment...she offered me a 2 pm on Tuesday and then a 3 pm on Wednesday...even after I specifically said that I need the appointment early in the morning before I go into work. After I finally get a morning appointment, when I go to drop my car off, they ask me who my technician is and I didn't know because no one mentioned it (not when I called to schedule and not in the email)...then they couldn't seem to find my appointment but took me anyway. They were done quickly and called to say that I should sometime bring it in to have the transmission flushed and stuff. A week or so later, I get an email stating that I might need to replace my tires. My windshield wipers are also not good but that wasn't mentioned (previously it was checked and I was asked if I wanted them changed). It just felt very disorganized and chaotic and no one seemed to know what was going on. My husband picked up my car and they couldn't find the keys...they asked him if he had them and he said "I have MY set but my wife left HER set with you guys"...finally, they were located with another cars info. This was not a stellar experience this time...most other times, it has been very pleasant. I'm not sure what is going on with the dealership right now (or if this was just an off week, I know that happens) but I didn't like it.

I went in for a battery replacement and oil/filter change. I was helped by Service Advisor Thomas Hill. The battery was purchased at Holmes Tuttle in 2008. We were not able to access the records there at HT at the time, but I had the purchase invoice in my car for that visit and was able to get a little money back toward the new battery with Tom's help. It was recommended I get a cooling system flush also, which had not been done on my Mustang before. Tom also offered a complimentary car wash (which was desperately needed) if I had the time for it - which I did. All of that work was performed very quickly, and it was reasonably priced, and I was completely satisfied with my trip to Holmes Tuttle -- especially with Tom's help and service.

Your staff is always extremely polite, knowledgeable and helpful. I love the maintenance for life. My only issue is the cost of services not covered. I am able to go to other reputable, SAE certified repair shops and get the same services for sometimes hundreds less. This makes getting the oil changed and tires rotated for free inconsequential.

The staff and service are always good at holmes tuttle, the waiting room area tv and snack bar and free coffee and water make the waiting part bearable. The shuttle is also very much appreciated if my vehicle has to be kept for an extended period of time. My only unpleasant surprise was being told my drive belt was cracking after only 21,000 miles on my 2011 ford fiesta, its supposed to be good for 100,000 miles.Other than that it was a good experience.

We bought a 2015 Lincoln MKX using the Ford Friends and Family X-Plan. The sales and financial staff were helpful, professional and courteous. The staff did find the car in Phoenix and had it shipped to Tucson quickly. And, J.R. did find an extra incentive that hadn't been discussed - that was a pleasant surprise.The detailing of the car, when delivered to us, was a little short of complete as if it was hurried a bit. The wheels still had a slight haze on them and the passenger floor mat wasn't as clean as I might expect.There were multiple offers of extended service plans that were explained well. It was more than I expected and took some time, but I'm OK with that - you are in business, of course!At times there was a little longer wait for something to happen like waiting to get to the financing office. I'm also not sure why the quotes on the car came back to me as hand written notes in different colored pens. That took extra time to sift through to be sure I understood what was being offered. I would have thought at the level we were spending that the process would be a little more formal. With that, though, I don't know all the details of why, so I'm not going to ding anyone for that. When I spoke with the Parts people, they were exceptionally helpful, courteous and customer oriented. I sincerely appreciate their approach to their part of the business.Overall, I give your dealership a good rating and am pleased with my purchase.

We love your dealership and the service that is provided. The one thing that you need is a way to allow customers to pay for services when the vehicle is brought in by someone else. I have had my brother bring my car in for service now several times. Your billing department would not allow him to use my credit card so the next time I signed a check and just had him fill in the amount and they would not take that. This is very difficult and there needs to be something put into place even if it is ahead of time where your customers can make arrangements for payment for service when they are not physically there.

First off, do not send anything else to my wife Lynn Light. We used her car to trade for this truck and I, Charles D. Light, am the one further notices should be sent to because I am responsible for this vehicle, not Lynn.Second, need to train your finance people to listen to the customer more closely and don't go so fast through the paperwork process. That is how things get missed and misunderstood; example, I asked the finance person many times to use only one finance source as we always use that source and I did not want numerous hits on my credit report for inquiries as these stay on your credit report for 2 years. This did not happen and I now have to live with these hits on my credit report for 2 years like I had to do the last time we bought a vehicle at Holmes Tuttle. This does not sit very well with me right now. Otherwise, everyone else at this dealership is very nice and very helpful and made for another pleasant buying experience.

I had planned to have have my brakes replaced when I came in for a service. As it turns out, I was told my brakes are fine and should last at least another 5,000 miles and possibly 10,000.
