On a trip up a steep rocky mountain road, my 9 year old Honda experienced its first need for anything other than regular maintenance service. The damage was severe even though the car was still drivable. When I got the repair estimate, I crunched numbers and determined It was more cost effective to buy a new one than repair the old one. James Parr walked me through all of the options, demonstrated them on a couple of vehicles on the lot and let me take him on a test drive. James was great because he gave me options and no pressure as to which car I needed or should choose. When we settled on what I wanted, not what was on the lot (I don't buy black or white cars because red clay just shines on them) they had to look for one at at another dealer. It took a couple of days to find what I wanted and get it to the dealership. They gave me a brand new CRV to drive until mine came in, as my car had NO air conditioning in July.

No pressure from the sales people. Gave the impression of honesty the whole time. Quick and easy financial dealings. The only questionable issue was when you get a vehicle from another dealer because this dealer doesn't have what you want, the "included" specials that they offer are not included. Didn't know this until after the sale. It's a good idea for them to let customer know ahead of time. But, all in all, it was the easiest deal we've ever experienced and Richard, the salesman was excellent.

Eight years ago I purchased a new Honda Pilot and always had it serviced here. Mike Boatwright runs a great service department and they never have tried to sell me a service I didn't need. And even though my car still ran like new, as a woman, I decided I wanted something updated . And, of course, I didn't consider anything other than another Pilot. My salesman was Jason Jeter. He was extremely knowledgable about the car and especially all of the technology that was foreign to me. He spent time going over everything with me until I understood it. And made it clear I could call him at anytime with questions. He was always courteous, never impatient, and always treated me with respect, as did everyone there. I feel like I made a new friend and he is just a good guy. I highly recommend this dealership. I will continue to have my new Pilot serviced there and hope this one is as good as the last one!

cut and programed and to have a wheel bearing noise checked out 3 hours later and a alternator light on that was not on when I took it in and $ 5000.00 estimate for a lot of things that wasn't asked for I wonder if it was because I was from out of town .My Name is Cecil Lee From Blue Ridge Ga.

I am not a fan of car salesmen. I feel like they never listen and are out to just make a sale. Not so with Honda of Bay County. This was our second dealing with them, we had previously leased a car, and both times it was honestly a pleasant experience. They listened, they worked with us, and they understood what we were looking for. We walked out the door with the car we wanted, at a price we could afford. And not for one minute did we feel like we had made a mistake or like we could have done better. Truly satisfied. I would highly recommend Honda of Bay County and salesman Doug. .

I was on the market for a new car. I just had a baby and my sports car had to go. I went into Honda of Bay County to look at the Honda Accord Sport. Jason Jeter greeted me at the door and as soon as I started talking to him, I knew I was taking the car home. The facilities are nice but their customer service is what sets them apart from anybody else. Would highly recommend.

I have traded and bought new vehicles from honda every couple years for the past 15 years and this has been the best buying experience of all. This was all due to my sales associate Jame Carr who was extremely patient, friendly, very informative, and amazingly modest. A lot of times salesmen can seem pushy and all about making a sale for the dealership. James on the other hand went above and beyond to meet our specific request and more. Saying this was an "No Hassel buying experience" would be an understatement. Thank You Honda of Bay County and more importantly Jame Carr!!

My husband and I were on vacation from out of state, it ended up raining so it wasn't a good beach day. I thought it might be a good day to look at new cars, just to kill time. The salesman, Kevin was very knowledgeable and helpful. They didn't have the car color we wanted in the style we were looking for but we test drove one anyway. We really liked the way it drove, the new design of the 2016 Honda Civic and the extra power of the turbo. Since they didn't have the color in the style we wanted, Kevin suggested the Honda Civic Touring Edition, since they did have one in our color., the only difference was all the bells and whistles and a few extra $$$. I really wasn't thrilled about the extra money it cost but my husband was in love when he drove it. This ended up being the most expensive vacation I ever went on.Since this was our second new Honda I can honestly say this dealership was very helpful in every step of the process. They seemed to be a lot more concerned with our needs than the last dealership we went to. Kevin was very easy to work with, courteous and down to earth kinda guy.Thanks Honda of Bay County for making our new car experience a very pleasant one!!

This was a very satisfying experience for me. Michael Behr was my sales representative. He knew his business. I had previously owned a Prius but was unhappy with the lack of comfort in that vehicle. Michael recommended the Honda CRV. I fell in love with this car instantly. It is very comfortable and the size is just perfect for me. I researched online and narrowed the car I wanted down between 2 (diff. dealers). I went back and forth test driving them and decided on the 2016 HRV. I wanted the EX in red and they went to another dealership in another town to get it for me at no extra charge! We found the sales person Kevin Rumsey very knowledgeable . Took us for a test drive in a couple of cars and found us the car that suited our needs and budget. The Honda CR-V was the suv we wanted as it does decent mileage at 33 mpg highway and as my wife travels to and from work was perfect for us. We met the service manager also who seemed very friendly and helpful. So overall we are happy to have formed a new friendship with our new dealership !

My husband and I were in the market for a Toyota Tacoma. We had gone to a different dealership to look for this vehicle. We were so displeased with the dealership we visited, we decided to take a look at Honda of Bay County. We drove up, parked, and was immediately greeted by Marquel Thomas. His demeanor was just absolutely delightful. He was pleasant, polite, and let us look around. Said if we had any questions, to just let him know. NEVER have we had a salesman treat us like that and we were VERY impressed. We looked around, found a car and decided to test drive it. We had NO intentions of buying that day, but we loved the car and Marquel was so patient with us, we ended up walking out with a brand new 2016 Honda Civic. He got things done FAST. None of that walking back and forth and giving us 10 different numbers! We LOVE our new car. If it wasn't for Marquel, we would have went home without our new car! We can NOT rave enough about this guy! He was great!! We will always come back to Honda! We are a forever Honda family! This is our 2nd Honda vehicle from this dealership and they are just great.

Was deciding on the new 'retirement' vehicle for my wife and I.We narrowed it down to a couple of vehicles and send out internet inquiries on the two finalists With in twenty minutes I had a response from Honda. My wife and I said great because we had explained what we were looking for in the email. Arrived at the dealer about an hour later and we were met by James Parr with the exact vehicle we had asked about. Went for a test drive and asked if maybe a smaller vehicle than the Pilot we drove would be a better fit for us. James got us a drive in a new CRV and we fell in love. Made the deal and we were gone in a matter of minutes with our new car. We could not have been treated better or more fairly on any deal anywhere. By the way I did receive a call from the other dealer a couple of days later but was not even about the email inquiry I had sent them about a specific car on their lot. Again thanks James and Honda for your superior service. And a truly amazing vehicle!!

My wife need a new vehicle; someone at work told her about the Honda Pilot. We had been looking at the Nissan Pathfinder and she want to test drive the Pilot. Mike Beher went with us on test drive; was real helpful with no pressure. We didn't make a deal on Friday; but we told him what we want payment to be. On Saturday, we got a call from him and the deal was ok. My wife and I went back on Monday and she drove the Pathfinder again and also drove the Pilot again. To say we're pleasantly surprised with the phenomenal service of this dealership would be a tremendous understatement. As we were nearing the end of our Honda lease and knowing exactly what we wanted, we took to the internet to find what deals were available. Less than 24 hours after our initial search, we were contacted by Kevin S. at Honda of Bay County and were offered not only a fantastic price on our prospective vehicle, but an unbeatable finance offer our own bank/insurance company couldn't beat. It didn't stop there. He also took care of the turnover of our lease. We reached an agreement over the phone, worked with the finance department briefly on minor details, and less than five hours later, we had a brand new Honda delivered to our driveway. Kevin made purchasing a vehicle an absolute dream - and I didn't even cry when I watched the Honda we brought our children home from the hospital in being driven away like I thought I would. A salesman greeted us, asked what we were looking for, and then was very helpful and efficient in showing us a couple of new vehicles and one low mileage late model used vehicle. After we made our choice, he got the key, showed us the features, and rode with us while my daughter test drove what would be here vehicle. We liked it, and the salesman explained the sales price and necessary taxes and fees. We made an appointment to return the next day.We thought about it overnight, and returned to buy this vehicle and trade in a used vehicle. The salesman met us, and got a manager or supervisor to check out our used vehicle. After some discussion, we agreed on the trade-in amount and thus the final purchase price.Since we were paying cash, we did not have the complexity of a loan. However, it was extremely slow - took about 2 more hours until we had our vehicle. Even after completing all the paperwork, it was another 20 minutes until the car was ready for us to drive off in. But my daughter loves her new Honda Civiv

I rated this dealership as excellent because of the friendliness of the welcome at the front desk, my salesman JJ, and the finance person. I was able to purchase my CRV in one day. My salesman treated me as a potential buyer from the start. This doesn't happen all the time as it should for a woman. He was very knowledgable and informative. Just traded my BMW for a Honda Pilot and I love it. Lots of room and very nice inside with comfortable leather seats. Drove it the Keys and back and it drove wonderfully. Our local FWB Honda dealership is great and we loved Tyler there, but they sold the only blue Honda Sienna they had left. As a result, we decided to settle for a blue Sienna. We were set to buy a Toyota Sienna locally and had already paid a deposit and made a final sale appointment at our local Toyota dealership. Kevin Schmehl called us the day of our appointment with Toyota to follow up with us regarding the Odyssey. We informed him that we'd already committed to Toyota, but thanked him for his professionalism and attention. Well, needless to say, the Toyota deal fell through due to weird dealership infighting and unprofessionalism (creepiness) of one Toyota salesman. It was really sad, because one salesman there was awesome and one was horrible. I guess one bad apple DOES spoil the car buying experience. Anyways, Kevin at Honda of Bay County was there to pick up the pieces. He bent over backwards to offer us a fair price and to deliver the vehicle to our home, allowing us to avoid driving all the way to Panama City from Niceville, Florida. This is a huge advantage when one has 2 preschoolers and would rather avoid long car rides, driving two vehicles (we weren't trading) and sitting in a dealership with two bored children for potentially hours. Kevin was even kind enough of listen and allowed us to vent our frustration regarding our sad Toyota experience. We will definitely recommend Kevin to everyone we know.PS The cookies were a nice touch and much appreciated!

I had been researching small SUVs for months and had decided on the Honda. Honda of Bay County had a CR-V that was not black in color and the interior was not black. Living in Florida, I did not want a dark color vehicle. With printouts from the internet in hand, my husband and I took a ride to the dealership. Aaron, our salesperson was great! He was not high pressure. He is also ex-military and we like to support those who have served. When the vehicle was brought around for a test drive, I saw the color -- Mountain Air Mist, I was sold. What a beautiful color. During this time, my brother-in-law and his wife were visiting from Ohio. When we came in to do the final paperwork and have the car detailed the next day, our out of town guests were with us as we were going sightseeing. Everyone at the dealership worked quickly so that we could get on our way. Would highly recommend the Honda and the dealership, especially Aaron our salesperson.

I've been driving the same truck for nearly two decades, and I've never bought a new car, so I went into this not really knowing what to look for or ask about. I met Marquel Thompson in the lot and he helped me through the entire process, he was very good at explaining things and allowed me time to think and ask questions. I really appreciate that, at some of the other dealerships I went to the salesmen talked fast and constantly and didn't let me get a word in edgewise, but Marquel actually let me have a conversation with him. A day later I came back, again talked to Marquel and I told him I wanted the blue Civic, he introduced me to Mr. Jeter and we agreed on the price. He was also very friendly and was able to give me a great deal on the car I wanted. Finally I met with Lorenzo Torres, I signed a lot of papers and he explained everything to me, I never had a feeling that I wasn't sure what I was signing, he was first rate in explaining it all in terms I understood. Overall I was extremely happy with everyone I came in contact with and the new car I bought. I would recommend Honda Of Bay County to anyone and the next time I am in the market myself I will head there first.

I went in for a quote on my trade in. I was greeted pleasantly and the salesman listened to what I wanted. I told him up front I was not planning to buy that day. The salesman was pleasant and helpful, getting me the information I needed to take home and talk with my husband. We went back that day and I was treated to a no pressure test drive. Taking the car where I wanted to drive it rather than a pre planned out route. We did end up buying that day. The sales transaction was done as quickly as is possible when making a car purchase and I was able to take my new car home that evening.

We have always been a Chrysler-Dodge family, since my husband has worked for them about 30 years. Bur I have wanted an Accord since my daughter got one in 05. Hers is still going strong at 250,000,00 miles. Aaron, our salesman was great.!! He was very knowledgeable and helpful. My car had to be driven from another dealership. I did have some disappointment when I came to pick up the car, there was still bug guts on the headlight, and road dirt. Aaron took it back to get it cleaned , again, while we were finishing the paperwork. When I finally got to sit in my BRAND NEW CAR, there was goo on the door panel,from the wrap put on it. The back window was still dirty and there was some dirt on the carpet . When someone has just paid a bunch of money for a BRAND NEW CAR, I think it should have been spotless. Then my husband looked under the hood when we got home, and the washer fluid level was not topped off. So I was a bit underwhelmed when I picked it up. Aaron was informed, and he said to make a call back and set up a time that I could bring it in for a complete wash and fluid top off. I understand that not everyone has a determination for excellence in their work, but that is why there is a manager that should have signed off on this before it left the department.

Our first contact with Honda of Bay County was a telephone conversation with salesman James Parr about a 2016 Pilot listed on their website. Mr. Parr was knowledgeable about the car and had another salesman (Kevin) e-mail us some photos. Later that day, when my wife and I visited the dealership, we found they had a good selection of 2016 Pilots. James had the Pilot we called about ready for a test drive. We found James to be professional and friendly throughout our experience. As my wife drove, he answered our questions and explained the various safety systems and operation of the cruise control, audio and HVAC systems. Though we had researched and were well familiar with the Pilot, James brought out several features we were not aware of. He handled the sales and negotiation process in a straightforward and low-stress manner even though we had a trade-in and several accessories we wanted installed. When we returned to complete paperwork and pick up our Pilot, James explained how the various systems worked and answered any questions we had. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and knowledgable. This all made for a great car buying experience.

Very pleasant overall buying experience. Being previous Honda owners, our car brand was easy to decide. Our first meeting with an excellent representative was very smooth and consisted of establishing our requirements and being informed of available inventory including any potential optional models. We decided on the CRV EXL. A test ride followed with an explanation of latest improvements from previous models. That being finished, we received the pricing info after which we left to reflect on our decision. The representative followed up within two days after which some simple non- pressure negotiations we set an appointment to commit and arrange delivery. Our selected color was not available however the dealer ensured they could (and did) arrange to have one trucked in quickly. On delivery day we inspected the vehicle an signed all the necessary documents an,d were soon on our way. There were other decisions to be considered (extended warranties, etc.) during the document process however we had already considered this so no surprises here. Recommend others ensure they're aware of this process that could add more to the cost and financing. We were contacted after delivery to answer any questions or provide additional services. Overall, a quick process with the online research tools etc. and a very responsive Dealership.

I was in a horrific accident in 2011 and credit the safety rating of the Civic I was driving to saving my life. I have now purchased/leased 5 Hondas from Honda of Bay County and I will probably always be a Honda owner. On this occasion, I was greeted by Marquel Thomas. I had planned on refinancing my leased 2011 CRV to buy it. I ended up leaving with a much nicer 2015 Civic for only $17 a month more than I was paying! My four year old was with me for most of the time I was there and the entire staff was friendly to him and very accommodating. Louis did my financing. He was great with my son and made the entire process very easy. Marquel showed me how to work many of the functions in my new car and even called me a few days later to see if I had any questions and to make sure that I liked my car. I would recommend Marquel, Louis and the rest of the staff at Honda of Bay County to anyone looking to lease or buy a car. They treat their customers like friends.

We first drove the 2015 CRV, nice car but not as roomy as i wanted. When we expressed an interest in the new CRV, Honda's Sales Representative indicated that he would work with us to come to a mutually beneficial agreement. My previous 10 year old car made it through another Florida winter, but know I was ready to let it go. We thought we could get to the lot prior to dealing with any sales people, but that didnt happen. Now I am glad we had Jason Jeter, He let us browse around the pre-owned lot, and compare what we had seen at other lots. As we were walking to the showroom to check additional inventory, he jokingly said, well there is this 2014 Crosstour, but it's new. This was a no brainer! A new car, only $3000 more than the pre-owned, 2 year old model I had wanted. Take a test drive? Sure why not. Thought we were going to get all they typical salesperson talk, its got great this, and, oh there is that, and push this button, open the sunroof, if you miss the convertable you had, so there was great information we were getting, within conversations on the drive. Glad I didn't punch it on Hwy. 231 to test that 0-60, because FHP was hiding out, so the test drive went great. Jason Jeter just laughed at me when I told him to sit back, shut up, and enjoy the ride back. Back at the dealership, we had better luck in the Finance Department with Chris Trotter, as he was calming and understanding that there needs to be no pressure in sales, or the financial closing. That was thanks to the saleswoman next to Jason's cubical. I cannot recall her name, but she noticed pretty quick, the first finance guy seemed creepy to me, wanting to sign me up for credit cards and looking around, over his shoulder, talking in a whisper tone. I picked up my purse, asked for my license plate back, ready to walk out. Thank you for alerting Jason Jeter & Chris Trotter. A few hours after driving on the lot, off we went in my new car. I may have to take Jason back out for another drive so he can tell me about all the buttons again, I still have so much to learn about my new Crosstour. Still havent learned to not grab for the keys from the steering column. Can't believe I'm admitting this, but I look forward to my first payment.

I had an excellent experience at this dealership. I initially just went in to turn in my leased vehicle but as I was talking with the salesman Jason Jeter I decided to just look at some vehicles. I did purchase another brand new vehicle and I am happy with that purchase. I liked that the salesperson wasn't "pushy" or just trying to make a sale. Had my Element in for Service and was expecting a hefty estimate as I have not been to the dealer for awhile(2 years). I had a recall for Air Bag and requested an oil change. I was extremely pleased at the outcome. The Full Synthetic Oil Change was only 59.95 and after the inspection was complete. They gave me a printout of the inspections results, As expected there were some things that needed attention but no immediate concerns. My Advisor was pleasant and did not pressure me to have any of the work done that day. I'm glad I went to the dealer even though they are a good ways from where I live on the beach because the recalls on my vehicle were safety items I was not even aware of them. Be sure to go over all numbers when the time comes. We came in to trade in our vehicle which we owed 23k on, they offered us 18k for it. So we are negative 5k, we tried to buy a vehicle for 18k, so that carries over to the new car so 23k then plus tax title and their fees roughly 25k correct? So now we said we wanted to put 12k down as a down payment. So 25-12=13 corrext? So roughly out the door it will be 13k. Well according to the finance guy in the back we would still owe 18k!! After putting 12k down.. He kept arguing with me saying I was wrong and it was simple math. Saying I had to pay interest up front etc.. When I told them no they got all mad and started cussing and hissing cause they had to put everything back on my vehicle so we could leave. All while I had my 3 year old and wife with me. Do not go here if you do make sure to look over the numbers, they were trying to make my 12k down payment disappear.

I came in looking for a used car to fit my budget. I had been pre-approved through my bank, check in hand. Steve greeted us and showed my interests on the used lot. I test drove a used SUV with no warranty. I liked it and he ran the #'s. At my banks finance rates the payments were still high. Steve asked if he could run our credit, we agreed. He came back and told us he could get us into a brand Honda for less monthly Payment than the used car. We smiled. He said lets pick out you new car. I chose a CRV... Never thought i'd be driving a new car. Well with all the discounts given by Honda Corp. I'll never have any worries for years to come. Thank you toy salesman Steve and our finance Guru Louis we had a amazing experience. Kudu's!

Brought my Odyssey in since our low oil pressure light came on. Took two and a half hours to diagnose the issue. Once the needed repairs were determined, I called a second Honda dealer, gave them the specifics of the needed repairs, and was given a quote of HALF the price as Bay County Honda. When I discussed this with the service rep, she instantly changed the diagnoses to require another part (on back order) and the quote was even higher than the original.

Very unhappy - visited the dealership late Saturday night to test drive vehicle, came in 1st thing Monday morning to purchase, signed agreement to purchase, mentioned multiple times that I was leaving town that AM for work and would return Wednesday to finalize. During my conference I was sent a text and told that the manager was getting worried about me not returning and the salesman just wanted to make sure I was coming back. Within 2 hours I received another text that said, "Sorry Kara the car has been sold." This occurred on Tuesday afternoon after I had spoken with him Monday night and advised him that my financing would be from Tyndall and that I was out of town but would come in Wednesday. He even called Tyndall to make sure that they were going to be providing financing. I cannot believe the way that they handled this and I will not ever be returning to Honda. You don't accept an offer from someone and then sell the car to someone else. Especially when you know the person has financing and they have been in communication with you and mentioned 5+ times that they would not be able to finalize until Wednesday due to work travel. Oh yea, on Saturday I didn't finalize due to the fact that I felt rude being there at 6p and the salesman mentioning that he was ready to get done with the day since he had a new baby at home.

Ok I posted on January 22, 2014 Title Disappointed by neveragainbayhonda, and on January 26 titled Disappointed Again by neveragainbayhonda. So I was contacted today by Scott, and I know that they can't fix all the problems and the car is as is. We talked the problems over, and came to an agreement that they would cut me a check for $300.00. That's fair sense I brought the car as is, and he offered to do an oil change or some gas if I was in the area. I do appreciate you guys getting back in contact, and the $300.00 will help with the necessary repairs I still have to do. That said I would like to retract my negative posts about the dealership. As I already stated customer service was always good, and now I'm happy with my purchase, and doing business with the dealership. Thanks for you help guys, and I do recommend this dealership.

So I traded in my car that I adored, and put alot of money into. My car was in tip top shape. I went to them to get a charger I saw, and wanted. Know I know the car is as is, but man come on. During the test drive, no problems. And the saleslady Jessica Griffith I believe great job. Car only had half a tank of gas, and I drove from pensacola, and back.But I get the car home, and the brakes start squeaking. I take the car to the brake place, and they are unable to get the rear tire off, because two of the lug nuts were rounded. I goto the dealer pay for removal, and two new lug nuts $124.00 out my pocket. So I find out that both my rear rotors need to be replaced because they are forming a lip around the edge from not being resurfaced, and the pads are good but are shined over from the bad rotors. So new rotors labor, and sanding the pads down to get rid of the shine $515.00. Next haven't even had the car for 2 weeks and the check engine light comes on. find out its a bad passenger side rear O2. Diagnostic test, and part and labor $330.00. Check engine light comes back on and thanks to the dodge dealer find out the replacement ECM is covered federally. I write the dealership, and they tell me its nothing they can do, and maybe I should look into getting an extended warranty. I do understand as is but all these problems with in the first 30 days. Very disappointed and would never recommend anyone to go hear. In closing customer service was great, but just hate how they handled the problems with the car.

I went to Honda of Bay County because I was interested in a car that they had on-line.. We drove from Crestview to Springfield to see the car. Our salesman was great. We bought the car.The paper work part was not a good experience. They had to add a amount for the tag with the agreement that if we paid more than necessary they would refund the money. The car was purchased On July 09, 2013 and still by August 2, 2013 we had not received a tag . I called and got the run around. Then received a letter saying that they were going to transfer a tag that we never had. Then from there was a night mare. To say the least we could not drive the car on our trip..I spoke with the used car manager and he informed me what did I expect him to do"flay it over to Crestview" I just wanted to leave for my trip..We have sent them a letter with no response regarding the money they owe us, for the tag which we finally got and was a new tag. I have asked to speak with general manager/owner. As of this date no response. It would be nice if there had been some communication on the dealership part as well as follow through that is all. If I had it to do all over again I would have went somewhere else.

I recently went and looked at a used truck from Honda of Bay. The service from the sales people were great I didn't purchase the vehicle because it just didn't fit my needs fully but I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone. I am retracting my earlier review since I cant delete it. I received a call from Mr. Scott Poppel a few days after my review in which he apologized for not getting back with me earlier, and was willing to help me with the repairs of the car I purchased. It was a smooth repair, I took it to my nearest ford dealership and the repairs were covered through Honda bay. We drove 2 hours to get to this dealership to test drive a used vehicle we were interested in. Our salesman's name is Scott Poppell. We decided to purchase the used vehicle. We were told the vehicle had a full inspection and it passed. We took it home and two days later while my daughter was driving, she put the car in reverse.. and the plastic around the automatic stick came out half way and made it difficult for her to put it in drive. We had to force it and bend the plastic even more since she was in the middle of the street. I called the dealership a day later and spoke to scott about it and i told him i was aware that there wasnt a warranty but that i wanted them to fix it since it looked like it had been previously damaged and it came out by itself. He told me he would contact the manager and ask if they could fix it and would contact me. I never heard from him again. The financing went through a few days later. I feel like he was only interested until he made the sale since I didnt get a return call. I just received a letter from the salesman asking for referrals. Sorry, I will not be referring anyone. I do not feel that the car was properly inspected. I do not recomment this dealership or salesman.

Honda Service Department in Panama City, FloridaFirst of all, I called in to request an appointment to have my brakes checked, They were making a squeaking noise. The advisor on the phone said he could get me an appointment for the next day (Saturday, April 14, 2012)at 9:45am. When I arrived about 5 minutes before my scheduled time, the Advisor at the service department told me they would get to me as soon as they could. I advised I had an appointment. The Advisor said the appointment was for me to talk to an Advisor, not an appointment for service. I complained what good is an appointment if you are taking people on a First-Come First-Serve basis. I could have not made the appointment, and gotten faster service by just driving up.I live approx. 1-1/4 hours away from the dealership, and had to wait in the waiting room fro my brakes to be repaired. About an hour after waiting, the Advisor came in and told me it was my rear brakes, and they could get started on them right away. I told them fine, but I thought they had already started on them. About an hour later, the Advisor said they were almost done, and would take about another 15 minutes. About 30 minutes later, I asked how it was going, and the Advisor said the mechanic was taking the car for a test drive, and the mechanic had cut his hand working on my car. I was sorry for the mechanic, but I complained I had been there over three hours, and was the last one to leave from the waiting room. Others had been gone for a good while. I complained I had never had this kind of trouble at an other Honda dealer, and I would not be back. The Advisor and some other lady who worked there told me it was Saturday, and they only had a skeleton crew. I explained that they should not have given me an appointment in that case. They told me, in about two more weeks, they would be moving to a new dealership, and more people in the service department. I told them, don't count on seeing me there. The same people at this service department would be there, and I will not be there.They were very apologetic, but all in all, it was the worst experience I have ever had from a service department. I would not recommend this dealership's service department to anyone. I felt like I would be willing to buy another type of car,rather than a Honda to go through this again, and I am on my 4th, maybe 5th Honda.

Lies, lies, and more lies. The story of my horrific experience with this dealership is so long and detailed you wouldn't want to hang around to read. So, I am going to sum up my "haggle free, hassle free" experience. I received a price quote through USAA Car Buying program for $0 over invoice. The dealership did not have what I wanted in stock and said they would look around. They dragged their feet, I looked around and found what I wanted at another dealer. Jason told me he would try and find a swap. After several days of no answers, I went to the dealership and asked what progress we had made. Jason said he found the car I wanted in Carolina and I'd have to pay a locating service fee and pay the time it took for someone to go get the vehicle. Told me that the additional parts on the car were being giving to me at invoice, but would never show me the invoice or proof that it was being given to me at cost. The following are listed lies and deceptions I was told1) Lie: "We had to get the car from a dealer I occasionally trade with in Carolina," Truth: It was the car I had located and told him about- in Georgia.2) deception: When I went back to the finance guy to pay for the car etc. there was an unexplainable additional $500 tacked on to the price I had agreed upon. When I pointed it out, Lorenzo (finance guy) told me it was the price of the items i added on plus some tax for installation charges. Then he told me he had accidentally keyed in an additional charge for key replacement. I told him my addl warranty charges were listed out further down on the price sheet. Then he said it was the delivery fee, and I told him that that was included in my original quote.Truth: They had tried to slip in an additional $500 to the price and see if I caught it.3) Lie: When explaining warranty options Lorenzo stated the warranty was limited "3 years 36000 miles". I asked, "isn't the powertrain also under warranty for 5 years?", and he said "no it is not."Truth: Reading the warranty paperwork in the Pilot-- the powertrain is covered for 5 years.There were several other issues, but these are the big ones I wanted to point out- which are enough for me to never recommend this dealership to anyone- even my worst enemy.

Traveled 150 miles to look at car that I made a preliminary offer for over the phone. which they wanted a $500 nonrefundable deposit for before I even saw the car, which I refused to pay. The car was supposed to be a 'mint' condition Certified Pre-Owned car, but what we saw when we arrived was the exact opposite. Seals were dry-rotted and coming off in numerous places; every surface of the paint was destroyed (some were touched up very poorly); the dealer hadn't even cleaned the interior; pieces of the interior were broken and significantly scratched and gashed; and there were cigarette burns to top it off. We looked at another CPO of the same model before before leaving and it was the same story, but not to the same extent. However, that vehicle hadn't been cleaned either. There were crusty stains on the center console that I easily was able to rake off with my finger. After expressing my discontent to the sales manager with the quality of product he was selling, the guy maybe looked away from his computer once and was quite arrogant in his tone of voice. I informed them that despite the original offer, to get my business, the car would have to get some serious work done, or they could come down off the original agreed on price, they basically weren't willing to do either... The salesman I dealt with was nice and considerate, but that's the only thing remotely nice I can say about this dealership. I will NEVER set foot on a Honda dealer again after this. For Honda to have a dealership like this and let them conduct this time of business practice is not worthy of my hard-earned dollars.

Long story short, ruined the paint job on my new 2011 CC 1 day after purchse when they detailed it, said they would fix it, tried and didn't, refused to let me take it somewhere else and said it wouldn't be covered under warranty, kept the car for a week to fix it and didn't, then they lied to VW corporate claiming they never did the work, refused to fix it, I paid out of pocket to fix the detail job then traded the car, during the trade to value the car the new dealer called Honda of PC for a estimate of what the car is worth, Honda of PC told the dealer I received a significant discount on the car because I bought the car with paint issues...lie! Lies Misleadings and Half Truths that is Honda of Panama.

Long story short. Took in my 2001 VW Passatt GLX wagon to repair a small oil leak. Over 700 dollars later the leak was much worse. Returned the car and was quoted over 2000 dollars for further repair. When I declined this offer the quote was verbally changed to 1500 dollars. Honest and ethical, I think not.

I bought a VW Jetta Sportwagon from a dealership in Tallahassee, Fl Capitol Euro Cars. But I live in Panama city, Florida. I accidentially put some gas in my diesel car and ran it for 9 miles. I had it towed to the dealer in PC, Honda VW of Panama City. They immediately cranked it up and drove it in the shop. They told me it would cost $9,200.00 to fix. I was in shock. I had it picked up and towed to Tallahassee,Fl. to Capitol Euro Cars, Inc. They told me it would cost $500 to fix. They drained the fuel out of the tank and lines, cleaned injectors, replaced fuel filter, changed the oil, rotated the tires and washed and vacuumed the car. They explained all work done and took me for a spin in it after it was fixed. The bill was $427.00. It runs better than it did before. Oh, and they redid the upgrade software codes to make sure they were done right at the dealer in PC. To say it delicately, I'm P.O'd at the dealer in PC who must have thought I was an idiot just because I accidentally put gas in my diesel car. To say I'll never recommend them is an understatement. Do yourself a favor if you live in the PC area, do your homework before dealing with any dealership. There are good one's out there but not all. I can tell you from first hand experience I'll always go that extra 125 miles to have my car worked on and buy my next car if I need one. This VW Jetta diesel is one great car. It gets 30+ miles in town and 40+ on the road. It is fast for a 4 cyl and a joy to drive. It should last a long, long time.

Purchased a new Honda Fit (Basic, Automatic) in late July during a huge Honda "Clearance" campaign offering 2.9% financing and $300 over invoice final cost. I paid full sticker price minus the nearly worthless trade-in (I was given $1,500 more than Blue Book value.) I had done my homework and knew what I wanted and expected to spend. But, I also know that I was not capable of figuring out the shenanigan's which are so well know. I just kept hoping to see those final figures come near what I was told I'd have to spend. Spent way more than I was led to believe I would and was repeatedly told that it was a great deal. Basically ended up paying just over invoice for a car with too much aftermarket stuff and not the color I wanted. So, I won't say, "Don't go!", but I will warn others that this dealship plays all the usual games. If you're not on top of the buying process or don't like to deal with the financial double talk then be careful.Do NOT believe what you are told. Get it in writing, everything! Be sure to multiply that "monthy cost" by the number of months you'll pay! Make sure it's close to what you thought you'd be paying for the car!Here are a few examples from my experience at this dealership:1. I was on my way to another dealer to get the color car I wanted, but was told that it was no longer available, which was a complete fabrication.2. I was told what my loan rate would be (the reason I stopped at this dealership.) But, the bank said that rate was changed the day BEFORE I signed my paperwork! 3. Aftermarket costs were added to my contract without explanation. When asked, they weren't even sure what it was for! Check every figure on your contract and make sure you keep all written notes during the process, including theirs. 4. My monthy payment changed from one manager to the next with the explanation being: "He must have been wrong!"5. And lastly, I sat for hours waiting! I hope someone was having lunch, because I sure wasn't! They asked me not to give them any bad ratings unless I spoke with them first. So, I went back to tell them how I felt. Good car, so-so deal, and lousy experience. They spent another hour covering all their tracks by blaming everyone else (the other car dealer, the bank, etc.) including me for signing the paperwork anyway. Quoting manager Chris: "I'm sitting here looking at your signature!" Yes, I signed, but no I wasn't happy with the process, got it? Just letting you know.And also from that manager: "You just don't believe anything I say!" Yep, that's what happens when you're caught in a lie. Don't trust 'em to be totally honest. They are going to say whatever it takes to sell you their car in spite of their claims to care about you're satisfaction.I'm good to go with my new car. Not thrilled with the deal, but okay. Even so, I would not give this dealership a good rating in spite of their continual claim that nearly all of their customers are 100% satisfied. I just don't like being treated the fool, even if I am one! You want a GOOD rating, treat people the way you'd like to be treated, with honesty and integrity.
