Tom was by far the best sales person I have ever worked with. He was informative and straightforward. I didn't feel pushed or persuaded. He helped me make the best choice for my family by really listening to what I was looking for and providing me withe additional information about my options. I purchased a pre-owned 2015 Civic EX. He ensured the cosmetic concerns I had were taken care of and the car was ready when he said it would be. I could not be more pleased.

Our visits to Honda of Concord are always GREAT! Timbo Black is the BEST! All folks there are so great. Timbo treated us right! He has heart and is honest. We will always ask for him. We KNEW we could trust him as soon as we started talking with him. In fact, I started kidding with him in the waiting room while our car was being serviced. Great sense of humor and fun. Then, we went to his desk and a "sweet" Honda Civic Coupe was showing on his computer. I asked him about it. (Our Honda Accord had 228,000 miles on it.) It served us well for 14 years. The new (to us) Honda Civic is Firetruck Red. It drives like a dream. Only 58,000 miles on it, Yes!We found the people there to be knowledgeable. This dealership is Christian based. That is what we found to be the best "deal" of all. None of the usual fears of being taken advantage of at all.Timbo is your man. We highly recommend him. He is a good, Christian man. I was very pleased with the sales person (Timbo Black). He gave us a fair trade in value and a good discount off the MSRP without having to haggle. I dreaded going anywhere to purchase a new car but they made it very easy and I feel like we got a good deal. I'm planning to buy another car very soon and I will go there and deal with Timbo again.

I continue to give Honda of Concord my business because every experience I have is exceptional. While having my van serviced, I wandered on to the sales floor to see if it was time to switch to the Honda Pilot. Timbo Black offered his help and was extremely patient with me in explaining all of the differences and took me on a test drive. In the end, I was not ready to switch from my Odyssey, but there was no pressure from Timbo and he genuinely wanted me to be happy in the end. I commend Honda of Concord for keeping experienced sales people of staff that truly have your customers best interests at heart. It is the thing that will keep me coming back.

I went to Honda cars of Concord just to look and gain some information on the new HRV. I was very up front with Chris about this and he never made me feel bad about just looking. I had a million questions and he patiently answered each one. He took me around the whole lot and showed me all the colors and interior choices. He was never once bothered by any questions. (There were a ton because he had me and my parents asking at the same time.). He made the process so easy for me!!! I am in love with my new car and am so happy with everything Chris taught me. He never once talked down to me, which as a second time has been the case everywhere else. I have told everyone I know about my experience with Chris and 100 percent recommend him.

Since 1991 - I have been a dedicated Honda owner. I purchased by 3rd Honda (CRV) in 2002 in Concord, NC and had most of the service work done in Concord. This weekend, I decided to trade it in (14.6 yrs later) for a 2016 CRV LX..so my husband and I can use it to enjoy our retirement years. Tom Teiro, (Retail Sales Consultant) assisted us with the purchase and we are very pleased with his courteous and friendly personality, professionalism, ability to listen to exactly what we wanted in a Honda. Then, we waited almost 20 minutes for the car we wanted to look at to arrive on the lot (granted, it was a busy Saturday of Labor Day weekend). Robin at Honda of Concord was wonderful to deal with. We first met one afternoon when I came to look for a replacement for my totaled vehicle. I didn't have time to drive one, but Robin showed me all the "bells and whistles" on the Honda CRV. I told her I would be back. Several weeks later when circumstances permitted, I came back to the dealership and Robin, so that I could drive the CRV. I wanted to talk to my husband, so I told her I'd be back. That night, after my family discussion, I emailed her and told her to get the car ready because I would come by the next night to sign for the car. I showed up to finish the deal and just over an hour later, I was on my way home driving my new car. It was so easy and convenient!! I would recommend Robin and Honda of Concord to anyone interested in a great car at a great price.

My husband and I knew we wanted to purchase a Honda Odyssey. He was recently in an accident that totaled our previous Odyssey but it kept our family safe for years. After weeks of research, we found the car we were interested in. We set up an appointment to visit the dealership. Although our original sales consultant was not available when we arrived, Robin Owens was gracious to help us find exactly what we needed. We are looking for a family friendly car and Robin was sure to point out all of the family friendly features. She was gracious and attentive to our needs and NOT PUSHY at all which was a big plus. She gave us the information we needed to make an educated decision. She was very helpful when negotiating our best price as well. Overall, I feel that we were treated fairly and I appreciated the service that Robin provided to our family. I would highly recommend her and the dealership.

Never knew a car dealership could be called friendly, but Honda of Concord is exactly that.Went in for an oil change, left with an upgraded CR-V. No pressure sales, quick and efficient service dept and even when signing the paperwork, they actually make it painless! We drive almost an hour now to have my vehicle serviced just because it is like we are visiting our family. Have and will continue to recommend Honda of Concord to everyone I know.

My journey started when my college student was involved in an accident, and his vehicle was deemed a total loss. All I heard from him is "Mom I want a Dodge Charger!" Being a woman that has always owned Honda vehicles and knowing how reliable they are, I said I don't think it is a good idea to buy a used Dodge. I don't know a lot about Dodge, but according to the reviews, it wasn't the best choice for my son. After looking on Craig's List and at other dealerships, I convinced my son in going to Honda of Concord just to look around at their used inventory. I am very familiar with this dealership because I take my 2004 Honda there for service. We were greeted with a warm welcome and introduced to Ms. Wendy Previtire. She was very kind, patient and extremely helpful with us, knowing that this was my son's first car purchase. She showed us about 3 vehicles and surprisingly he picked a 2013 Honda Accord. They even let him drive the vehicle home on Sunday, while we worked out the financing. Wendy, thank you again for making my son's car buying experience a great one! You're are the BEST and I will refer all my friends to you!

Working with Robin to find the perfect new Pilot was a breeze. I had a very narrow window of time to look for a new vehicle, and after I got a flat tire - that timeline was even shorter! Robin was able to help me find the exact 2016 Pilot that I wanted and the finance process was extremely easy. Lester was personable and efficient! Wasted my time ,I drove from Gastonia after work, and over 1 Hour after getting to the dealership, they said they didn't have car, never got a price for my trade, nothing. I can't begin to tell you how much I hate car shopping. My past experiences have made me never want to buy another car. Robin Owens made our experience such a pleasant one. We were looking for a used car for our 17 year old daughter. Robin understood the payment we wanted to make and didn't waste our time looking at cars our daughter couldn't afford. She was very thorough when going over the car and explaining to us what to look for to see if the car had been repainted or damaged. Of course we got the carfax from her but the information she shared with us can be carried forward to other car purchases. We didn't spend a lot of time sitting around and waiting for the financing and paperwork. Everything went smoothly. A very nice experience. I can't recall the name of the finance person we spoke with but he was wonderful.

I had decided to trade in my 2016 Chev Tahoe for a smaller vehicle, I had shopped around and happened upon Honda of Concord yesterday. They gave me a great deal, and I was treated professionally from the time I entered the dealership till the time I drove away in my new CR-V. When we decided to purchase a 2017 Accord, the hunt for the perfect car at the perfect price began. After shopping around we found the car we wanted at Honda of Concord. Our communication began via email correspondence, we scheduled an arrival time and the car was up front and ready for a test drive. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a friendly smile from our salesman, Tom Teiro. Tom was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and answered any questions we had. Phil Rundo and Tom worked with us to get us to a place we felt comfortable in terms of pricing. Ted Johnson was top notch in the financing department. After purchasing a 2015 Honda Accord last October, I just was not happy. I went for oil change and Bob Huillier, service manager asked how I liked my car.....I said....OK but it wasn't what I really wanted. He took all my info on the Accord then walked me into the show room. He set me up with Robing Owens...Robin Ownes was wonderful!!! She walked me through the trade in of my Honda Accord and leasing a CRV.....Mike Maman and Ted Johnson were super understanding and really helped me work out the kinks and doubts. Because of my previous experience with Honda of Concord, I was very reluctant to return, but Robin was so very understanding and really cared. Mike and Ted were very easy to work with and explained EVERY question I had!!! I could not have asked for a more AWESOME team and will tell everyone I know to ask for them I am very excited to drive my CRV and feel very confident that I made the best decision!!! I purchased a used Toyota Highlander from Honda of Concord, and was told by my sales associate that everything works as they have a very detailed inspection before they sell their cars. I find out that the trailer wiring doesnt work and the rear glass is also defective. Unfortunately, I found this out after their warranty had expired.When I called them, they told me to bring it in. After they looked at it, they refused to fix it as they assumed I wanted the repairs done for free. I told them 3x I would pay for the repairs but wanted a discount as I was told everything works.After 4.5hrs of waiting, they couldnt fix the trailer wiring, and didnt even attempt to fix the rear glass.My experience purchasing the Highlander was great, but you have been warned, they will not repair the cars they sell. I wish someone would have told me this, as I drove away from the dealership for the last time, 4.5hrs later, with neither the trailer wiring fixed, or the glass fixed.

Im from Canada and I was in on July 20th to get an oil change on a white Acura MDX that I had for a week due to a contest win.Shacoya Richardson was very helpful, efficient and kind to me. She called the Honda Head Office in Toronto to explain the situation and were able to get their credit card info so I didnt have to use my card for payment.Anyway, I just want to let Shacoya know that for my inconvenience they let me keep the car for two extra days!I loved my trip to North Carolina, I will always remember how friendly everyone was thereespecially you!

Robin is a great sales consultant and does her part of the process very well. She listed to what we needed and made sure to answer all our questions even if she had to track down the answers. She really went out of her way to take care of us.Brain Emmerich in finance knows his job very well and made the process go very smoothly. I have bought several cars and Brian is one of the best in the finance office I have come across.One recommendation for the management team would be to get to the final sales total faster. Back and forth and allowing a customer to get up and leave makes for a long drawn out process.

My experience with Joy Spencer at Honda of Concord last weekend couldn't have been better. We visited the dealership specifically looking for a used certified Honda Pilot that would fit our budget. The car was priced well and met my needs, making it worth the 3 hour trip to purchase. Joy demonstrated knowledge about the most common elements of the car, though some technical issues were left unanswered. She made the purchasing experience relaxing. The business manager (Tony, I think) was not pushy when I refused the extended coverage that did not cover the items I would have been most concerned about breaking (i.e. electric locks and windows, touch screen radio/computer).

I normally dread going to dealerships to buy a car but my experience with Honda of Concord was an exception. Dealing with Joy Spencer was a pleasure. Her enthusiasm and energy made our 90 minute trip to Concord worthwhile.

I stopped into Honda of Concord Friday morning to see a car I had seen on their website the day before. David Fogg set me up with David Neumann prior to me coming in to see the car. Every person I interacted with was polite and extremely professional in both their appearance and demeanor. I had been looking at cars at different dealerships all week and those experiences vs. this were like night and day! I was treated with the utmost respect and never felt like anyone was trying to get one over on me. I feel that if Mr. Hendrick were there himself I would've received the exact same excellent service! I am extremely upset after meeting and speaking with David Fogg. We came in to get our car cleaned the way we were told it would be done and we're told it should be ready within two to three hours. 7 hours later I show up to pick up my car it is still dirty outside, the inside leather seats have some mysterious sticky substance splattered on them, and all of the exterior plastic detailing has been scratched. We, wanting it fixed, spoke with several people there and then he came out and told us what they would not be doing was cleaning the interior of the car that they had washed it and that is all they would be doing. He was very disrespectful to us in the way that he spoke to us and extremely unprofessional. We did speak with the service director Patrice Wood who is taking care of the problem on her end.

I visited Honda of Concord after email interaction with Tim ( Mr TimBo Black) and meeting him in person was very nice experience.Tim helped us in finding the car from nearby dealer store ( Hendrick Toyota Scion Concord) and explained the pitfalls which as user I should check before purchase of used car. Great tips Tim.The dealership staff is nice and friendly and due to month end it was crowded and we have to spend good amount of time ( nearly 6 hours) in full process of purchase and loan but we could close the deal.The car is running great so far and I am happy with people I interacted with - Tim and Lester. Never shopped on this dealerships lot but Honda owner. Ran into a sticky situation where i had a flat around the corner and didn't have wheel locks to change the tire. Call after service had closed and Brandon Lawyer took my call and instead of leaving me on the side of the road by saying "try back tomorrow" he drove over with Perry Blythe and and assisted me and reminded me of Honda roadside assistance and help me and my family get squared away and because of that ill shop and recommend my friends and family to Brandon Lawyer and Perry Blythe because of their positive help in anyway possible attitudes. I do not like shopping and buying cars, the experience for me is always met with trepidation. I have to say that this is the first time I've ever had an experience like this. I did my research, determined the best price for the vehicle, under dealer invoice price, went in and told them how much I was going to spend out the door. To my surprise, without much haggling it actually happened, the no nonsense back and forth I've experienced with most dealers didn't happen. I'm thankful for a positive buying experience and will continue to do business with Honda of Concord.

This was by far the worst dealership I've ever dealt with. They pressure you the whole time. They don't throughly check vehicles. They do make you happy. I will never again by a car from here & I will never recommend anyone I know to go here. They get their money & don't want anything else to do with you.

Working with TimBo was a wonderful experience! He was very down to earth and helpful during the entire process. I was very hesitant as this was my first time buying a car alone and he put me at ease and delivered what he promised. Our recent visit to Honda of Concord was nothing short of exceptional. From the minute we walked into the dealership and met Robin Owens and she educated us on the Pilot and took us on a test drive. It was clearly obvious she was passionate about her job and her knowledge and expertise on the Honda Pilot was incredible!!! Sales Manager Chip Olin who worked with us and Robin was also a true professional who did his due diligence in working out our purchase of a 2016 Pilot, and continued to scour the shipping information to track down the vehicle we were interested in. He was able to get the vehicle from another dealership and we were able to take delivery almost a month earlier than anticipated. When Chip was away for a few days on vacation, Shane Purser filled in and was also great to work with in Chip's short absence. Chris Ijames who handled the financing was an absolute genius at helping us through all the paperwork and working with us to get the best loan rate that was available and was great to work with, a true professional. Robin spent time with us after the car arrived at the dealership showing us all the bells and whistles on the Pilot so we felt absolutely comfortable when we got in and drove it off the lot. Austin Miller also was a tremendous asset as we sat in the car and worked through the electronics, phone pairing, radio functions, etc.All in all, the whole experience was great. We've purchased Tundra's over the years from their sister (Toyota) dealership and had always had a very rewarding experience and our experience at Honda of Concord was really exceptional. Robin, Chip, Shane, Chris and Austin are outstanding representatives and made what can sometimes be a very demoralizing experience into one that was virtually painless. Honda of Concord is blessed to have employees who are not only true professionals and love what they do, but they convey that passion to customers by making them feel like part of a family.

We had easiest buying experience ever! It was a piece of cake!!! When I called the dealership, Robin Owens said to come right over that they would take good care of us!! Once we arrived, we met Larry Fowler and told him exactly what we were looking for and he found the perfect car.....the first car he showed us. And, that is not easy to do when buying a pre-owned vehicle. The icing on the cake was that he was able to match the price we needed, too! He answered all our questions, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It was at the end of the business day on a Sunday and past closing time. Larry and Todd King (Business Manager) never once acted inconvenienced because they had to stay almost 2 hours late in order to finish our paperwork.....that is excellent customer service! When we were having difficulty setting up our Bluetooth, Austin Miller, Product Specialist, got in the car and easily fixed the problem in no time at all!We would not hesitate to recommend this dealership and our new friend, Larry! My experience with car buying was nothing to brag about: salsemen pushed cars down my throat, tried changing my financing situation to better suit the dealership, terrible customer service. All this changed with Perry! He took his time to really find me a car within my budget and went through EVERY car on the list with me. He got the car off a completely different lot, made jokes to keep the mood light and made my overall experience an enjoyable one. He explained every step of the process and really worked around my needs rather than making me feel uncomfortable and trying to get me to buy something I wasn't satisfied with. Got an awesome price for a brand new fully loaded Black on Black 2016 Honda Pilot Elite which are generally very hard to come by. Found the exact one at Honda of Concord, got a great bottomline price by Truecar.com and my salesman Timothy Black was true to his word, I didn't pay anything more. They ended matching an awesome interest rate I found online and I left there a happy customer. This was the third Honda I purchased from this Honda dealership and the fifth I have purchased from a Rick Hendrick dealership. New car buying can be a stressful experience, but the folks at Honda of Concord are great at minimizing that stress!. Ask for Rosalee Hix when you get there. She is very knowledgeable of the cars they sell and very nice to work with. The exact Pilot that we wanted actually sold just prior to our arrival. However, we were told that another Hendrick Honda dealership had exactly what we wanted and they had it delivered to Concord for us! I will be back!!

Going into two brand new Hondas at the same time is quite an experience, especially going from one car payment to two. We had a rough experience at another dealership the night before, so we went into this visit with our boxing gloves. TimBo was quick to become down to earth and straight forward with us. He was great to our kids, knowing they weren't enjoying the experience. We had a lot of demands and he listened. Left out of there a little over budget, but because we went with all the protective extras Hendrick offers, and we believe in the Hendrick name. Honda's are also a great investment, and we wanted to protect that investment. Giving 4 stars as the only complaint was a lot of waiting. The dealership is huge, and they weren't well staffed enough for handling the paperwork and number work. Brian in Finance was incredible. He was on point and very patient as we decided on the extras. Will definitely be back when it's time to trade.

I also was impressed when we posed a question she did not readily know the answer to, she exhibited honesty and a willingness to find out. I have had other sales people in the past flat out lie rather than say they didn't know. It inspired confidence in dealing with her. She went above and beyond to ensure we were as comfortable as possible at the dealership as well as with the process. She also showed concern for my two children that came with us to see the new car. We were in the market for a 2016 Pilot EX-L with Navi. We researched many dealers in Charlotte, NC, but no one seemed to have one. We went into Honda of Concord on Saturday, March 12. The dealership was extremely busy, people were buying cars left and right! We were told that they didn't have that specific car, but they'd have a Black Forest Pearl color being delivered in about a week. We grabbed it, though we really wanted White, because we were told they probably wouldn't have another for quite some time. That is the same story we got from all area dealerships. We waited a long time for the finance team to come get us, and after 5 hours, we told them we had to leave, but could come back the next day to finish signing. They apologized a million times, but we said we understood--they were very busy, and of course we didn't hold that against them! Rosalee treated us like we were old friends--very good communication, easy-going manner. Really enjoyed her!! David Fogg was the same way--he assured us that we were getting a great deal, and we feel as if we did. We appreciate all of his efforts, and the excellent trade-in that he gave us on our old Pilot. David Feingold was professional and we appreciate that he understood when we had to leave without completing paperwork, so we could attend an event for one of our kids. Next day, finished everything up in 20 minutes (they were 100% prepared and ready for us!), and out the door. The car was delivered earlier than expected, and the Delivery process was wonderful. Austin showed me how to use the technology and familiarized me with the vehicle. I appreciate the time he took, not rushed, answering all of my questions. The car was spotless and ready to drive off! We have bought our last 6 cars from Priority Honda Huntersville, and though we never had any problems with them, they can't begin to compare with the awesome 5-star service we received at Honda of Concord!!!!!! Can't wait to see how the service experience compares with Priority when it's time to bring our car in for periodic maintenance! Thanks to all!

We were in the market for a mid-size SUV with optional 3rd row seating and the 2016 Honda Pilot was the last vehicle we decided to look at. Having Kirsten Larsen assist us from the moment we arrived and taking us out on the test drive (along with her responsiveness to our questions the next day) pretty much solidified our decision. Kirsten's demeanor was extremely pleasant and answered all of our questions. She was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and clearly articulated the wide range of features the Honda Sensing package provides, which was the key selling point for us in deciding to purchase the Pilot. By no fault of her own Kristen had to leave due to completely understandable circumstances, which forced Chris Cook to take over and assist us in completing the sale. Taking into account the lack of prior knowledge of the negotiation (and being thrown into the deep end), Chris jumped in and performed admirably while also providing the same level of exceptional customer service as Kirsten. We have no doubt that we would have made the same decision to purchase if Chris had assisted us from the moment we arrived.From that point on our experience at the dealership was exceptional: no pushy sales associates, friendly sales managers, and very helpful finance managers. We even had a slight discrepancy in the sale price of the car that was quickly corrected by the sales manager, who was very apologetic about the mix up. Overall our experience was second to none, which is a sharp contrast from the previous level of customer service we received the day before at a competing brand's dealership. I would highly recommend Honda of Concord to anyone in the market for a new vehicle and look forward to returning to this location regularly for the servicing of our new Honda Pilot.

I had a great experience working with Robert and they were able to meet my price point and he even offered to pick me up if I needed a ride to finish filling out the paperwork and pick up the car. He was honestly the main reason I came back to buy the car. I was looking at a couple of other cars in the area and the way he treated me, his customer service, and the fact that he was just a fun guy to go on a drive with really stood out. He was not pushy with the sale and knew I was looking at other vehicles but he made sure he followed up and checked in with me. David on the finance side and I went back and forth and I was not too excited about the 84 months vs 72 which I had originally thought I was getting but we came to an agreement and he was able to help me with the pricing on of their additional services to get me to where I needed to be.

I had an amazing experience with Honda of Concord. The sales person was 100% honest with me and made me feel like we were both looking for a car, not just me. She was very caring and stayed several hours after she was supposed to be off duty, just to help me after we talked to the finance people. Finance however, was just a little less enjoyable. He was fun and active, until we got to the add-ons for the car. He started being a little pushy after I told him what I did and didn't want, but he kept pushing me to get some add on features. Besides finance being a little but pushy, I had an amazing time at this dealership, and would highly recommend any to go to them; just know what you want from finance and don't let them convince you that you need more.

I have been dealing with this dealership for the past 10 years living in the area. We always deal with Tom Tiero who in my opinion is the best salesperson in the building. We arrived after a long week of insurance calls with an intent to replace a totaled vehicle for a used vehicle. Joy listened to our needs and helped us consider all the Used vehicles that met our range, without pressuring us to make an uncomfortable purchase. During the inspection and test drive she pointed out all the functionality the vehicle had to offer and had us test each one to ensure we knew what we were purchasing. During the processing steps she would provide updates so we weren't left for long periods of time wondering what was going on, and she answered every question in a straightforward manner. In January of 2016 we bought a previous owned Mercury Gran Marquis from Honda of Concord. Our Sales Representative Alphonse, couldn't have been more pleasant to deal with. He took care of us in a short time and explained all items regarding the sale. The financial side of the deal was handled by business Manager, Ted Johnson. Have you ever gone to a dealership to purchase a car and feel like cattle in a turnstile? Well that is the exact opposite of what it's like to purchase a car from Honda of Concord. I worked with Jim Doyle and Tom Teiro to purchase my new car. These guys are great! I never felt pressured, they answered all of my questions, and in the end I felt like I found the right car and made a good deal. Bob Whitmore gave me a fair trade allowance without the traumatic back and forth negotiations. David Feingold in Finance was great as well. I was on a time crunch, and these guys had me in and out in less than an hour and a half start to finish. This is not the first car that I have bought from the Hendrick family of dealerships, and I can say that across the board, no matter the dealership, you get treated with respect and are treated fairly. I feel very confident highly recommending Jim and Tom and the crew at Honda of Concord, but also any of the Hendrick dealerships.

After reading the many positive reviews I decided to come here to purchase my first car. There were pros and cons to my experience at Honda of Concord. I made an appointment with Chris Cook, well the day of appointment I was informed that it was Chris's day off and someone else would be more than happy to assist me. The good news is I had the opportunity to meet with Robert Beasley. Robert was very patient and knowledgeable of the type of car that I was looking for and I would highly recommend Robert to anyone that is in the market for a car. The car buying process went smoothly however when it came time to talk about the financial aspect thats when everything went downhill, I had already contacted my credit union to get approved for an auto loan prior to my appointment but of course the finance department wanted to get me what they called a better deal so they run my credit again! The so call better deal was a $6 difference and cost me six additional credit inquiries on my credit report; I was highly annoyed because an inquiry will stay on your credit report for two years.

I live and hour away and had three kids in tote so I needed to make this a quick trip that was worth it. THEY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! We called ahead for a specific pre-owned vehicle we saw on the internet. When we arrived, Timbo was ready to show the car. He pulled the car out, asked us what we knew already and went from there. I recently purchased a certified Pre-owned 2014 Honda CRV from Garrett Benton. Garrett was very knowledgeable, professional, a pleasure to work with. The price was much less than I expected. Everyone I met at the dealership was very professional and friendly except for the person I worked with in the Finance Dept. I wrote a check for my person but had to go through all the paperwork. To start with he was smacking gum the entire time. He tried to sell me a warranty. When I declined he said he had NEVER had ANYONE decline a warranty. He wanted to talk to my husband. I told him my husband would tell him the same thing. I told him It was a Honda, I was completely happy with the remaining warranty. His demeanor was completely unacceptable. He also did not want to give me time to read what I was signing - he just wanted me to sign. I NEVER sign anything without reviewing it. When the paperwork was finished. He just said - that's all. I had to ASK where my car was. He just pointed to the delivery area. It was my understanding that he should have informed my salesman that the paperwork was finalized. I would recommend Garrett and the dealership if there is another Finance guy to work with.

Well where to start. First, I don't usually write reviews. Second I was not paid to write this. Third, my experience with Honda of Concord has been extraordinary, especially with my dealings with Chris Cook and Phil Rundo. My wife and I were viewing a used car website and happened upon a 2013 Accord Coupe listed with Concord Honda. Unfortunately we live in the Clemson area of SC and the dealership is in Concord NC. Price viewed was at least reasonable enough have me make contact via internet. Phil was our initial contact. Very patient and straight forward as to answering my questions. I explained that the car buying process with me through them was going to be problematical due to the distance and I didn't want to drive all the way up, view, test drive and negotiate without some indication that we were going to be close enough in the details to warrant such a drive. Phil responded that he could have the car driven down for us to inspect and test drive before we signed anything. If we didn't like it, they would take it back, no questions. That sounded very appealing but I assumed it would be in a day or so. Nope, he would have it driven down that afternoon if some of the details could be worked out ahead of time. They were and good to his word, he had Chris Cook drive it all the way from NC...a good 2 hour or so one-way-drive. He did not arrive until about 10:00 that evening. My wife and I viewed the car and took it for a test drive. No surprises with what was advertised. Chris was phenomenal not only in the sense that he drove the car down that late in the day, but after all that he was very patient with us with the questions, test drive and filling out the paperwork. A true professional in every way. The surprising part was that he was going to turn around and drive my trade in back that same night, and then report to work the next day...realistically a few hours after he returned I'm guessing. The only downside to this type of process was that the paperwork you'd usually walk out of the dealership with in person will need to be sent back to you after the dealership gets through with it. However if that part of the process goes as smoothly as the front end, and I'm assuming it will, in the future the first place I'll be looking for a car will be through Concord Honda and specifically with Phil and Chris. Again excellent work gentleman. You went the extra mile and my wife and I appreciate it.

Excellent customer service. Everyone went out of their way to help me find the perfect car. Kirsten made sure I was completely satisfied and that all of my questions were answered. Kirsten called me 2 days later to make sure everything with car was going well and to ask if I had any question about my new vehicle. She offered for me to return to the dealership for help and/or instruction related to any of the feature of the car. She was friendly and personable and made me feel very comfortable. She was pushy and let the process move at my pace.

Joy was my salesperson and a delight to work with. This was our first experience buying or even being in a Honda dealership. She was very upfront and had great follow-up skills. She was so organized that I only spent 1.5 hours away from work to sign and drive away in our purchase. Most of the process was done electronically so that really helped a huge deal. This is the forth car in 10 years we have purchased from Honda of Concord and we always get the best service from them. Rosalee Hix was so patient and understanding. It took me forever (3 trips to the dealership) to figure out which model and color. Brian in finance has helped us with 2 previous purchases and is always looking out for our best interest (rate? Look a finance joke. Brian will get it ). I would not hesitate to purchase from them again and highly recommend them.

I was very impressed with my most recent car buying experience at Honda of Concord. I traded my Jeep Wrangler in on a very nice Honda Civic. I am already very pleased with the car. However, I was especially pleased with the car buying process and experience. The process was smooth and efficient. Mr. Black found the vehicles that I was interested in, in a very timely manner. After test driving the first vehicle I knew that it was the one. Mr. Black made the appraisal of my trade in super easy and made getting me into a new ca seamless. Mr. Black was kind, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. At no point did I feel rushed to make a decision, but at the same time I never felt that any of my time was being wasted. Mr. Black did an outstanding job all the way around and my opinion of used car salesman has forever been changed. Mr. Black got all of the ducks in a row and made sure everything was squared away before taking me to see Mr. Leader who made the finalizing of the car buying process super smooth, easy to understand, and highly efficient. I knew the type of vehicle, Nissan Altima Coupe, that I wanted. At the suggestion of my coworker, I contacted Honda of Concord. The first car that I went to look at was at Honda of Concord & had quickly sold. I actually chased 3 down to no avail. I went back to look at another but it wasn't the color that I wanted. The salesman mentioned that they had taken in another but it had not been listed on their site. He showed it to me in the detail department & I knew it was exactly what I wanted. That was last Wednesday. Thursday the financing went through, I signed the papers on Friday. The salesman, Patrick Ellis, suggested letting them do some further detail and cleaning. I picked it up today and it was more beautiful & perfect than I expected! With helping my elderly parents, a totaled car & working, this truly was the easiest thing that I've done in the last 3 weeks.

I've been buying Honda automobiles since 1978, so I know the quality of the product and I am brand loyal. This was by far the most pleasant experience that I have had with a new car purchase in several years. My salesperson, Gerard ApaDula is one of several individuals who made this experience very pleasant. Gerard is highly professional and extremely knowledgeable of his product line. He treats his customers with respect, and listens to what they say. It was not very long before I had two options in front of me to consider. Payment amounts were not discussed during the entire transaction. It was really geared to my personal needs. Gerard wanted to ensure that he had helped me select the correct vehicle, and I appreciated that. Of course I did my homework before going to the dealership, so I knew the value of my trade. I also had a True Car certificate, so I knew what they could do from a numbers perspective. The numbers were dead on, and to my surprise far better than I had expected, so there was no "Haggle". It was pretty much "One and Done". The sales manager Shane Purser was very courteous and spent some time getting to know me, which I really appreciated. He came over to close the deal that was negotiated. The finance specialist, Ted Johnson ensured that all of my needs were met and presented me with several options to consider. Nothing was "High Pressure", but was very relaxed and very professional. If you are looking for a extremely positive stress free professional car buying experience, then give Gerard a call. He is by far the best salesperson that I have ever worksedwith, period. I will return for another purchase from him without hesitation. I believe that when you treat people with respect, they will in turn treat you with the same respect. From hello to "congratulations on your new car," I had an amazing experience at this dealership. I spent 2 hours at a competitor and could not get them to even say hello. This was by far the smoothest experience in car buying I have ever had. Associates are very knowledgable about their products, and at no time tried to pressure me in any direction. They walked through all aspects of the vehicles I was looking for and even walked me to the back where a car I was interested in wasn't even truly for sale yet. The car I ended up with was in the price range I originally mentioned and had exactly what I was looking for. I'm a stickler for what I want and am a no BS kind of guy. These guys made the process incredibly easy. MAKE SURE to ask for Chris Cook for a salesman and Chris Ijames to handle the paperwork. It was like we were old friends, not people trying to work a deal.

I have been around a while and have had several good experiences in purchasing Honda cars over the years. My salesperson Tom Teiro made a huge difference in my choosing Honda again over several other comparable brands that were under consideration. In fact, I had visited 3 other varying dealerships and put in a lot of effort thru calls and checking reviews and in considering possibilities through various Internet sites but had not really made a connection I felt would work for me. Tom is highly professional, showed a great interest in understanding and assisting me in my decision process, and bridged the gap when I felt uneasy with the finance process. I really appreciated Tom's help in listening to my concerns and connecting me with the right individuals to get the answers I needed before I could move forward with my purchase. I made my purchase a week ago and can easily say that I am very happy with my new Civic, I do not regret the fair price I paid and would highly recommend Tom Teiro as the Honda go to guy for any of my family or friends.

We went into Honda Cars of Concord at about 5pm on a Saturday evening. We were greeted by a receptionist and asked to wait because they had an extremely busy day. After waiting a little while in a nice welcome area with hot drinks and popcorn we talked to Joy about what we were looking for. She was very helpful at finding us what we wanted at the price we wanted. In all honesty, we paid more than what we were wanting to, but we ended up with a much better deal and car than we planned. The staff ended up staying late with us to get us out the door with our new vehicle in the same day. This dealership is so much nicer and friendly than all the dealerships that we visited that day in Charlotte.

I experienced great customer service from Carlos Cruz in the purchase of my 2010 Kia Sedona on Thursday, Jan 14-Saturday, Jan 16. I found the car via internet search on Thursday evening. Carlos reached out to me that night and worked with me on Friday evening for the test drive. Carols then worked to allow me to take the car home overnight and all of Saturday for my family to have an extended test drive. We bought the car on Saturday night. The salesperson was excellent and did not pressure us in any way. She was extremely knowledgeable about the two models we were looking at and never pushed one over the other, simply presented the positive aspects of both. The product service person was very helpful in explaining the "bells and whistles," and helping us set them up.The service manager and technicians were very helpful when we brought the vehicle back because of a slight vibration at higher speeds. They explained that in their analysis this was caused by flat spots on the tires, assuring me that the vibration would be gone in app. 500 miles. The manager urged us to bring the car back to them if the vibration did not go away.

It is painful to deal with so far. The past Finance Manager Les Steele once your purchase is made. He does his best to sell, but if you need to cancel your service plan for any reason, he will do anything he can to avoid the cancelation go through before it is too late for a full refund. He will promise you what you want if you email him or meet him in store, but his email is always vague about how much he will refund you. He always says "next week" or "in 10 days" but actually made his customer waiting for 6 weeks and he still has not processed anything. Thanks to Sandy McGinnis who wrote a check in a half day and promised to mail it to Honda finance the next day. However, Honda finance (just about 40 miles away) has not yet received the check after a week of the claimed mail date. In addition, I do not like the way they sell cars. They added "accessories" such as stripe painting, window tinting, tire lock to a new car, and you cannot just buy a new car without most of such additional stuffs charged at a high price. Although I bought the car because of emergency, I do not like to be charged for what I meant not to buy, especially for an expensive nonsense.

I went to deal after dealer, I was at the peak of my anger and frustration and Carlos Cruz rescued me. I had a simple yet challenging request. I needed a car for commuting, I have bad credit, and this is what I can afford. I didn't care what it was, it just had to get good gas mileage. Somehow no one had yet been able to grasp this concept. Carlos spent a total of six hours of his life over two days, including a day he was supposed to be off, and made it happen for me. Working with his manager and finance team, he went through car after car until he found one that met my needs and I would be approved to finance. Even if I never buy a Honda, which I probably will someday, I will be going back to Carlos and referring people to him whenever I can.

On 12/28/15 I wrote my 1st ever salesman/dealership rating . TimBo Black of Honda of Concord . It was after my daughter made her 1st car purchase with a little help from her Dad. I said what a great experience it was 4 us and that TimBo Black was the best car salesman I had ever done buisness with . I took a cab to dealership on a rainy day and Chris made it sure that I drive my new Honda Accord back home. He was able to get me the vehicle well within my budget with all the possible benefits. This is how not to run a car dealerships: (1) You tell potential customers to make an appointment for service, as appointments allow for faster service. (2) You make them wait 3 !/2 hours for a repair service that most folks say will take less then a half hour. (3) While customers are waiting, you throw a buffet for all your employees in plain sight on the show room, so customers who have no desire to watch the guy assigned to work on your car grazing for an hour while you wait for their car. (4) you offer complementary coffee, from a system that is not working, and hot water from a device that obviously has not worked for some time, as the cob webs are on the dispensing system. (5) You send your sales persons over to the waiting customers with food stains on their mouths and clothing to hustle customers to buy a new car. (6) You charge the customer twice what it normally would cost at any licensed repair shop.

The sales people don't always answer questions correctly and you really have to be prepared to negotiate for finance, but overall it was a positive experience and I am happy with my car. On the test drive our salesman told us a lot of things that we found out later were not true (for example, bluetooth not working with Android phones and there being no way to start the car if the battery in the proximity key dies). This really turned me off from the car for awhile, but after researching online I found out that both of those things were untrue. I did find Kevin very helpful when I was shopping around. He answered my questions when I had them and unlike other dealerships gave me straight answers on the price which is why I eventually went with Honda of Concord.Financing was another headache. I was given a rate of 4.99% which was a bit high for my credit. Thankfully, as it took a few days to get the car in the particular color I wanted I was able to spend some time negotiating a lower rate and Phil in the finance office responded very favorably. He not only met but did better than the 2.75% rate I got from my credit union. I would recommend others using this dealership to do their research on both the vehicle and financing options before walking in the door. If you keep your wits about you it can be a very pleasant experience.

Very helpful sales department. Rosalee Hix internet sales consultant was great to work with. They had a great selection of cars. My wife and I had already found one we liked on Christmas Day and they didn't try to influence our decision. We wanted a 2016 Civic Ex they didn't pressure us to upgrade. Les Steele business manager took care of all paper work. Good company to deal with. Weston Furr product Specialist was knowable and great explaining a new cars features to us. Chad Terry in Service Department was a great help with helping with tire pressure monitor on car and explaining how it works. Overall a great shopping experience. I had a great experience buying my used 2012Toyota Sienna from TimBo Black. I came in looking at much older model mini vans with 100,000 miles or more online. Tim was willing to listen to not only my needs, but he was so kind & sweet with my 9yr daughter. We spent about 6hrs in total at the dealership. Most with my daughter & myself being entertained while we test drove vans. Tim was able to get me in a van I loved with 1/2 the milage of the vans I had seen online. I got a great deal & would recommend anyone to go to Tim for help buying a car. He is great with children and very knowledgeable about his vehicles. He was nice, knowledgeable, and transparent - he also gave me the best price out of the gate, without a whole lot of back and forth. Visiting Honda of Concord was a nightmare. I was looking for a used 2002 Honda Accord and I emailed them about it. They contacted me after 2 days for the vehicle for an appointment, The sales person called me 3 times since morning on the appointment to confirm If i would be coming in to take a look at the vehicle. I drove about 40 miles to the dealership to see the car and I found out that the car was sold few hours earlier. Since, they didn't wana leave me bare handed, they decided to show me another vehicle that didn't have any gas and had a cracked windshield. After test driving the car, I told them the road noise is too high and the guy told me that's how it's supposed to be. Later he admitted that the door was missing the seal and that's why it was noisy. Their sales manager didn't even come out to talk to me about the vehicle and rudely scratched the price I was willing to pay for the vehicle on the papers.

Honda of Concord provided a no-nonsense buying experience. Honestly, I like when I'm working with more women than men because men just seem to ooze greedy in the car industry (sorry, as a guy, I figured I could say that for what it's worth--surely that's not universal). I had corresponded efficiently online about a Pilot I wanted, called to make sure it was still for sale, and when I arrived everything I needed to make a decision was ready to go. NOTE: I had my own credit union financing that they couldn't beat (2.49%), so it's worth considering that option. That probably cut out some time during the purchase process as I had a check ready to go. ALSO, I went fairly late Saturday night, and I was more or less the only customer. Consider that as a time to purchase. Overall, I would recommend going to H of C for any purchase.

I was looking for a new Honda Odyssey SE 2016. I had already gotten quotes from other dealerships but wanted to get one from Honda of Concord before I made a decision. At 11:30 am on October 30th I had an appointment with Timbo Black. Immediately I was comforted by his easy demeanor and big smile. After sitting down I told him exactly what I wanted and what price I was willing to pay for the new van. Negotiations went quickly and I got the price I wanted and heated leather seats on top of it. We have purchased two cars from Honda Cars of Concord this year. In April, we purchased a CRV for my wife and earlier this week, I purchased an Accord for me. We will not purchase a car from any other dealer. Our salesperson, Robin Owens, is exceptional. She is knowledgable and straightforward. I was in for my first oil change for my Acura. They were friendly and informative. I have had two good experiences with Honda of Concord. However, I will say that I entered the building with a deal completed or nearly completed on both occasions. I strongly recommend that route because the car buying experience, though almost completely stress-free, still took 4-5 hours. The internet salesperson, Joy Spencer, and the floor salesman, Henry Cooper, were both very helpful and consummate pros. We still required the requisite dramatics of "best offers" and "walkouts" from the sales managers, but all-in-all I feel our resolution is a good one and one that faired better than other offers I had received having shopped at 5 other dealers.

We left another dealership very disappointed in the lack of customer service and knowledge. This dealership was so much better. They went above and beyond for my family. We got a great deal and an amazing new vehicle. I would highly recommend this dealership if you want an easy ,no hassle experience where they are knowledgable and caring.

I love that there was no haggling involved. Chris Cook was great and knowledgeable, manager on site (Mike) gave best deal up front, no haggling. Made the process easy and enjoyable. Even if their best price wouldn't have been my best price, I would still have left the dealership with a very good impression. Process went smooth and I would recommend anyone in the market for a new car to go to Honda of Concord.

My wife and I just purchased our first new vehicle in thirteen years. Tom Teiro, our sales consultant, made it the smoothest, most pain-free experience we could have asked for. He was professional and very knowledgeable about his product, explaining the options and packages on the vehicle we were interested in. He also went over our trade in information very carefully for a fair trade price, and explained the financing available. Overall, we were very happy and would definitely recommend Honda of Concord and Tom Teiro. Our finance consultant, Chris Iames, was also very informative, thorough, and easy to deal with.

Echoing other reviews, our sales experience was smooth and fast. After two false starts at other dealerships in the region, we were prepared for another less-than-satisfying experience. Thankfully, the opposite happened.We connected with our sales representative (James Watson) and appreciated his knowledge of the vehicle (CR-V Touring).When it came time to settle on a total cost, Mike Mahan took over and worked with us to arrive at a fair price. There was no back-and-forth, sit-and-wait, "let-me-talk-to-my-sales-manager" type of experience. We trusted Mike and he came through for us.Next, it was time to meet with the finance representative (Chris Ijames), and the good experience continued. He patiently explained our options and did not pressure us to choose one.We would also like to give a shout-out to Austin Miller, who spent over an hour with us explaining how all the bells and whistles worked when we picked up the car.Perhaps the only bump in the entire experience was the delivery of the vehicle (which had to be located and retrieved from another dealership). There were a couple of add-ons missing when we arrived to pick up the vehicle. The service manager recognized this immediately, and we agreed to wait a couple more days to take delivery until the dealership had time to install them. Everything turned out fine, but someone should have paid more attention to details AFTER the sale.We would recommend Honda of Concord and we are pleased with the professionalism and respect we received from all those we mentioned above.From a couple of senior citizens

Just drove home in my new CRV-EXL! Love It! Thanks to Chuck Hartsell for his honesty and friendliness, he was our salesman, super guy, It was fast and painless, He immediately got the manager we negotiated a price, everyone was super nice, I had visited 3 other dealerships and we got the best deal from Honda of Concord. It was the fastest we ever came to an agreement and had everything done and out the door in no time! Everyone was very nice and worked fast so we didn't have to sit there for hours! I would highly recommend this dealership!

I highly recommend Honda of Concord for your next car buying experience. Joy Spencer, the internet sales manager, went out of her way, in an exhaustive search for a new car for me! This, for a car brand that they don't even sell. I needed to trade-in an expensive car for an inexpensive one and after I was just a bit too late for a local car she had found for me at a sister dealership (sold without her knowledge, just hours before I arrived), so she went through an extremely thourough search for an identical car, via all of Hendrick's massive nationwide dealership network, as well as searching their own HoC inventory for a similar car, but of a different brand. A car of the brand, model and year (2015) that I initially went there to buy, was eventually located in Charleston, SC, however it was a certified, only slightly used version with just 3,500 miles on it (not a problem). Only the color was any different. I only dealt with another salesperson for about a half-hour there, Quentin Williams, to wrap things up, but he was also very, very helpful and was knowledgeable about sporty cars, as well. The Charleston car arrived in Concord the very next day, so the location distance became almost a complete non-factor. Once again, I would highly recommend Honda of Concord for your next new or used car buying experience.

We drove over 200 miles to this dealership on a Sunday after speaking to Internet lead agents Kelly and Kristen who reassured us our asking price was reasonable and they could beat our current offer in Florida. (We canceled that deal & the shipping arrangements hoping we could trust HoC). We arrived at HoC with our 2 yo & 14 month old at 1pm for our appt. Carlos greeted us kindly but was unaware of the vehicle we were seeking (Kelly & Kristen had off that day, conveniently). After looking into it, our vehicle wasn't there, but had been pulled to a sister store for a customer the night prior. Thankfully it was not sold but it took over 2 hours to get it. After talking numbers and not even being near our price, we were getting VERY fed up and regretting our decision to drop the van in FL. Carlos was very empathetic and helpful, and ultimately helped us get down to the price we needed. All of our salesman (Carlos, his manager, and Les, the business manager) were helpful and patient with our kiddos (5.5 hours in a car dealership is rough on adults, can't even imagine what it was like for the littles). Around 6:30 that night, we pulled off the lot with our 2014 Honda Odyssey EX L. I'm in love.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. "I WILL ADVISE EVERYONE TO BE AWARE OF HONDA OF CONCORD. THERE ARE OTHER COMPETITORS WITH MUCH BETTER SERVICE AND DEALS AND MOST IMPORTANTLY BETTER EMPLOYEE WHO TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT"The quality of the services for any business can be monitored only when there is an issue. I recently experienced a worst service at Hendrick Honda of concord. I have a 2015 Honda Odyssey and took for a simple oil change. I had to wait about 3 hours just for that, and when I picked my car there was dent and scratch on driver side. I immediately informed the available service advisor. He looked around and without knowing anything said, You might have brought your car like this and then walked away without saying anything. I waited more than 15 minutes, no one came, and then I asked again to one of the other service advisor. They kept on pushing to one another. Finally I was told to wait for Elizabeth as she was my service advisor. She was nowhere to be found and I had to wait more than 30 minutes. Finally when she came, she gave me the same story that I might have brought my car like this. Even though she was the one who did the walk around initially to make sure there was no damage. Their willingness to take ownership of their mess up was absolutely down the drain. Anyway, she took some picture and told me that her manager will call me within an hour. No one called, i called back and left a message for Elizabeth, didnt get any call back. I then finally called her back again around 6:30 and was able to speak, and she didnt apologize or anything for completely ignoring me and said he manager might be very busy that why call wasnt returned. Next day, I got the call from her to go to their collision center for an estimate. Now the estimate been completed. I asked Honda of concord to pay me so I can get my car repaired at my preferred repair shop. They said, they cant do that and I must get my car repaired at their location. I absolutely dont trust this dealership and dont want my car to be repaired, they are giving me hard time. I have left them over 10 messages in the past week, and yet to receive any call. I am extremely frustrated for the inconvenience they have caused me. Not only my new leased car got damaged because of their fault, I also would have to pay a penalty when Ill return my car as it needs a paint job.

Timbo Black greeted me and my other family members with a very positive upbeat attitude. I helped my mom search for her new car for weeks and at the majority of the other dealerships we were not treated with respect or taken seriously as 2 ladies looking to talk price. But from the moment we pulled into the parking lot at Honda of Concord we were greeted by TimBo and we received amazing service the entire time we were there! Everybody was so friendly and easy to work with and we did not feel pushed or taken advantage of in any way. Daneca at the front desk was so friendly and she helped entertain my 2 year old the whole time which made the experience that much easier! We could not be more pleased with our experience there. Timbo was so awesome to work with and Lester helped us move the paperwork along quickly and even sang and did a little dance for my daughter when it was time to go get in my mom's new car!!! Great experience. Sales members understood I was under a time constraint so TimBo did most of the leg work before I entered the dealership. I took one car for a test drive, but quickly realized it was not the right choice. TimBo suggested I check out a similar model with different options. I gave it a test drive and thought it was great! Once we knew which car to choose, TimBo and HOC in general understood my schedule and made it easy to come back to the dealership later that week to close out the paperwork, which took roughly an hour.Very easy process, no pressure sales, great price and financing. We learned 2 important things while shopping for a new Honda CRV on Monday, May 25: 1. Memorial Day is the busiest day of the year at car dealerships2. Honda of Concord (NC) is a great place to buy. We first got an internet quote, then were greeted by the GM who assigned Sales Consultant Joy Spencer to work with us. Very professional, thoroughly knowledgeable of their line of vehicles and the CRV which we came in to see, a truly friendly and charming person (as opposed to "sales friendly") and ZERO pressure to buy. After carefully determining what we really wanted and were willing to pay, we agreed on a price (not the typical "let me see what my manager says" stuff with long delays and pressure from a "closer"). We asked to speak with a financing person as we did not want to take money out of the stock market at this time and were introduced to Business Manager Perry Flythe. An interestingly rewarding identical experience - he quickly pulled 6 financing quotes for us based on our FICO and went over the additional options the dealership offered, explaining them in an overview manner first and then in detail where we indicated interest in more information. Again - a thoroughly professional no pressure approach by a knowledgeable friendly businessman. Of particular note is how this dealership handles your information - when we went into Mr. Flythe's office he had to unlock the door - our information was kept behind a locked door for the 20 seconds he was out of his office meeting us and escorting us inside. After completing our financing arrangements (at a lower cost than our own bank offered and no surprise fees etc.) we were introduced to Product Specialist Austin Miller who sat with us in our spotlessly clean new CRV and answered all of our questions about the technology in the vehicle. If you have not purchased a new car recently you should be prepared to learn a lot about how smart the new cars are. Another friendly professional who answered every question to the detail level we desired, synced our phones with us, explained the consequences of some of the decisions one makes when first setting up electronics so we could make informed decisions, etc. No pressure, No rush to get us out the door and to the next customer. A 3rd great experience. Received a follow-up call the next morning from Ms Spencer to ensure everything went smoothly on the drive home and answer any questions. In summary - a dealership that was immaculate (as all Hendrick stores are), properly staffed for an exceptionally busy day, every employee we met was professional, friendly, listened well and knowledgeably responded to every question. We finished with a great price (checked other dealerships and no one would even try to meet the price), top notch service, a feeling we had made 3 new friends, and the exact vehicle configuration we were looking for. I would recommend anyone looking for a new vehicle to start on their internet site as it helps you configure the vehicle the way you really want it, and ask for Joy (704-787-4291) at the dealership. This is an update to a review I left right after buying a car from them...I am unhappy to say the sales lady that I dealt with lied to me on several occasions. While I heard from two different managers, I was told complete lies from the sales lady. On two occasions she told me that my information was mailed to me and both times that was not the case. After speaking with the New car manager, who actually was very nice and willing to make the situation right, she had to deliver my items to me. She seemed like it was no big deal to her and again told me a lie face to face. I am enjoying my new car and can't say anything bad about the dealership or the management personnel, however, the sales lady is not someone who needs to be working for this dealership. She can make the entire deal sour.

This was the quickest sale EVER. My 2014 Accord was totaled 2 weeks ago, and after driving a rental I really missed my car! I was in the dealership less than 5 minutes when TIMBO BLACK greeted me. My husband and I were in the market to lower our monthly car payment, while still maintaing a quality vehicle. We drove around the lot at Honda of Concord, and decided to take a look at a few of the Pilots they had available. I had never even considered purchasing a Honda before that day, however after speaking to a knowledgeable salesman, TimBo Black, I immediately fell in love with the Honda Pilot. We had our 9 month old son with us at the time, so we were limited on the amount of time we had available to spend at the dealership. Tim was very understanding, and made it possible for us complete the car buying experience without having to stay at the dealership for the entire day. This was our first Honda purchase, and due to the excellent service, we will be back!

Tim, deserves the highest rating possible due to his extensive knowledge of the Honda brand. Because he has sold other car brands, he was able to compare and contrast Honda to all the cars I was considering, which assisted me in making a well informed decision.The sole reason I chose to purchase from Honda of Concord, was Tim's knowledge of the car purchasing process. He explained each purchasing/leasing option and how it would impact me financially not only in the short term (the purchase process) but also in the long term of owning the car and trading/selling later. Again I was able make the best possible decision for me.In short if you want a straight forward, bottom line, informational, easy, car purchasing process go see Tim Black at Honda of Concord!!!!!!!!!!!!!On the other hand, watch out for the Finance Department, which is completely separate from the sales department. They are very slow and I found them to be sadly unprepared with their paperwork, including quite a few typographical errors and incorrect information on their forms. Lack of attention to detail.

This is the second time I have purchased a car from Honda of Concord. It is also the first time I purchased using the Internet. From the first email I sent, the staff responded quickly and with very clear pricing quotes. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted quickly and from the time I arrived until I left in the new car, it was just over 90 minutes. I was impressed at how quickly things moved along. My only concern, and they are to follow up with me, it that once I purchased the car, I only received one key. The owners manual and extra key could not be located, and they were clear about that, explaining that the manuals were out of order and would have to look for it. I am hoping they clear this up within the next week. The sales representative was open and honest about the confusion so I can't say anything bad about her. She was great to work with and moved the process along nicely. I would expect the dealership to correct this problem so other customers won't have to wait for their materials to arrive by mail. Otherwise, Honda of Concord is a great place to do business.

Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable about the cars and all the paperwork, responsive to our questions, and patient with our lack of experience. The process of buying was smooth and quick, but we never felt rushed or much less pressured. We got a good price for our trade-in and they even beat the competition's price for a great new car! Joy Spencer, our salesperson, was superb throughout, but when the deal was done, and before we drove away, she took extra time to make sure we knew how to make all the electronics work and get our phones interfaced. Because of her extra efforts, we were able to use even the "hands free" features right away.

We started our adventure to buy a van for our growing family actually in March dealing with Marc Gabriel but we were in the process of restoring our credit so we had to find the right deal that met our needs financially. Marc assisted us greatly in showing us models that might fit our needs and excised great patience in dealing with our situation. Then unfortunately family issues arose that we couldn't pursue a vehicle at the moment with both my mom & grandmother in & out of the hospital. Marc was very understanding and again showed us great patience. Once things got better with my family, we were ready to pursue buying the van again and Marc literally picked us up where we left off and was able to show us a 2013 Honda Odyssey EX that had low miles and met our budget. Marc setup the transaction but had to go deal with something important and introduced us to Tim Black to finish us up. Tim was an awesome guy as well not only he just saw us through the financials but gave us some great advice on restoring our credit, but was great in dealing with our poor 7 year old boy that was stuck there waiting. Tim & my son had a great time throughout the night and made him feel included in the buying process. :) In going through the paperwork process, we dealt with Les Steele in finance. I have dealt with some very pushy fiance guys in my past but Les was great & friendly to deal with and very understanding to our needs. Also, he did a very great job in securing a better interest rate than I could imagine. The night ended with a new van for our family and a payment that won't hurt the budget. I can not say enough about the service that we received from this dealership. I was very blessed to be working with Marc & Tim on the sales team and I will recommend them to any & all my friends. Honda of Concord is the standard by which all others should be compared. Very knowledgeable staff who are very attentive to your needs for a new vehicle. They have one of the largest facilities and selection of vehicles in our area. Typical of most dealerships, the sales staff make multiple trips to the "cage" to barter the price of the vehicle. I spend about one-half of a day wearing the sales department down on their price. In the end I got a very good deal on a new 2015 Accord EX-L. The financial department made title and tag changes without issues. The same was true for payment of the vehicle (paid cash; no loan arrangements needed). The vehicle was spotless and ready for delivery at the specified time. The sales person refreshed me of many of the electronic features of the console as well as other important features of the new vehicle. I cannot speak for all of Honda of Concord's sales persons but I got a good one. James Rabar exhibited all the desirable traits that I would hope for in a car sales person. He was not pushy but allowed me to set the pace in the negotiations. The only negative complaint that I would make relative to my purchase came when one of the sales people from the "cage" came out and tried to pressure me into an on-the-spot sale. It didn't work. If you deal with Honda of Concord, I hope that you get as good a deal as I did and receive the attention and respect that I did.

I recently purchased a 2015 Honda Civic LX and had the best car buying experience. I had been to several dealerships beforehand and Honda of Concord provided the best of the best of everything. The car salesman that helped me was named Jorge Ferreira and the sales manager I worked with was named Chip Olin. They were a fantastic team. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and it was worth the hour long drive to Concord. I will definitely be doing business with them again. I also plan on sending all of my family and friends their direction when they are in the market to buy a car.

I have bought 5 cars from dealerships in the past all which were used. This was my first time buying a new car. I drove over an hour to get to this Honda dealership due to the fact they had the car I was interested in. I have been greatly disappointed so far with their customer service. The salesman he was wonderful not much I can say negative about him except for not one call from him since my purchase like his letter he mailed me stated he would. I was given a 30 day tag until my permanent tag arrived. I was forced to contact the dealership 2 days before this tag ran out and was told the tag would be to me before the expiration date... It was not. The tag arrived 5 days after the expiration. I had to re-sign 2 forms that were mailed to me that the dealership did incorrectly. I have since contacted this dealership asking for an explanation of one of the forms and have yet to receive a call back. I called on a Sunday afternoon asking to speak with someone in regards to this and was told that I could leave a message and that someone would attempt to call me back the next day that all the business managers were busy and could not take any calls. I left a voicemail asking for a call back the next day but yet again...no call back. I have received generic letters in the mail informing me that the "team members" of Honda of Concord would be in contact with me periodically...needless to say I can't even get someone to call me back when I actually request they do so...much less call me at their own free will. I should have had this car transferred to my local Honda dealership!

I do encourage car buyers to be clear on their personal expectations before signing on the dotted line. I have bought many cars from Honda of Concord over many years. The name Hendrick means complete trust and integrity to me. That culture is created by people such as Joy. She patiently worked with my daughter to find an affordable used car that could be financed. She gave precise advice on the strategy to get a bank to back a used car for a college student. There was no drama. Just the match of a car my daughter really likes and easy financing. Speaking of the finance process, part of it involves the sale of add-ons. All good but some a better fit for a college student on a budget. Chris Iams gave great advice in getting the 36 month warranty. I have been in Chris's office many times signing paperwork. He knows his business and looks out for you offering the best options he can find. Joy and Chris were a pleasure to deal with. I buy from no one but Hendrick. You can go in there a complete idiot about cars and have a zero percent chance of being ripped off. The service department is also totally honest. They will tell you everything wrong with your car a week BEFORE the warranty expires, not after. This was done for me and saved me a lot of money. Take my advice... see Joy for picking out the car. See Chris for the deal closing. Go no where but Hendrick.

Showed us the vehicle, we test drove it & then she presented all the maintenance that had been done & carfax. She would go above a beyond to show show & explain things to us. My wife initially worked with Joy over the internet to get details on the car and pricing and found her very helpful. When we arrived Joy was unfortunately busy but Phillip was able to help us with the test drives. We inadvertently set a record with 4 test drives (both myself and my wife test drove two cars) but throughout the process Philip was friendly and helpful and was knowledgeable enough to answer our questions.Once we decided to purchase the car we found the process smooth and appreciated that there were no additional hard sales tactics. Honda Cars of Charlotte made buying my first new car an extremely easy process. My fiance and I walked in knowing a price we wanted to pay Meredith sent us straight to a Sales Manager, Caiden. He made the process very clear and straight forward and we were able to settle on a price in less than 20 minutes. From that point, we continued our process with Larry who is a 20 year employee of Honda of Concord and helped is to move through the paper work process with ease. The last person we worked with is Chris, the Business Manager. Chris was wonderful, he was personable and willing to explain any part of the car buying process that I did not understand. He understood what I was looking for and worked with me to find exactly that. He was approachable, friendly, and trustworthy- not all car salesman have that trustworthy trait, but Mark did. Leland was the gentleman in charge of finding me the right price, and he did just that, it wasn't even hard! He understood my budget and worked to get my chosen vehicle to match that. I HIGHLY recommend Honda of Concord and the two men who assisted me. I LOVE my new Honda Civic, and I love how easy the process was.

She answered all of my initial questions over email, and once we arrived to the dealership she gave my wife and I a very detailed tour of the used Toyota Highlander. I was very impressed with her knowledge of a used Toyota at a Honda dealership. Once we started talking numbers, I felted no pressure from her. When I left to checkout additional Highlanders at other dealerships, Joy's level of service stood apart from what I received at the other places. Joy even answered my follow-up emails on her day off. I called hours ahead to see a car on the lot. The salesman tells me the car is on the lot and that someone at the dealer will have key waiting for me. After making the hour commute to see the car, not only was the salesman not there, but the car had been SOLD already. This was after communicating with him throughout the day and him promising me a look at the car. After that ridiculousness, the salesman who informed me of the car being sold already, has the disrespect to want to show me other cars. You have to be kidding me?! Also, had to wait almost 45 minutes just to see a rep. Thanks but no thanks. I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone.

Worst experience ever. Was quoted an OTD price via internet. I asked for the stock number of the vehicle quoted, and it was sent to me. I have an entire email trail showing everything from the agreed upon price to the stock number of the car, but when I show up they try to charge me $1,700 more because of "dealer accessories". I walked out of the dealership and had to have my wife drive back 45 minutes to pick me up. Sales Manager could have cared less. I have reached out for legal advice and we plan to pursue. We will also be contacting the BBB. Please be aware of the bait and switch game!

I bought a used 2014 Honda Pilot in December 14. I have had no problems with the car after putting on about 400 miles. The 4 wheel drive is not geared for hi and low like I'd prefer but still works on my mountain road well. Tony Montana helped me. He has also helped me also after the sale. I would buy from him again!

Just picked up a new Odyessy at Honda of Concord and the entire experience was unlike any dealer I've been to in the past. It started with a friendly greeting and ended with a fair deal with a terrific vehicle. The entire staff was very friendly and the salesman was the best at helping me go through my options with absolutely no pressure. No, "What do I have to do to get you into a car today". Thank you Tom Teiro! Tom was a major factor that made the purchase happen. I typically do not trust salesmen, but he earned it. I'm in sales and he sold me exactly what I wanted and never pushed for anything I didn't. All I wanted was a reliable vehicle for my significant other, something that she can have for a very long time and be worry free (also something she could afford). The Honda dealership was really nice, but its kind of their job, and I believe most people can see through money driven sales reps and people that genuine car for the interested party. With that said, Joy Spencer IS that genuine sales rep that wanted nothing but the best for us. We didn't get a chance to work with anyone else, but if everyone is like Joy, the concord dealership shouldn't have any problems thriving here in Charlotte, NC. We purchased our 2006 Pilot brand new and have had all service performed at this dealership ever since. The car is in excellent shape and we are very confident in it despite the increasing mileage. Larry Burris in service department consistently provides excellent customer service- performing all work as agreed and going above and beyond by informing us of potential future issues. That is very helpful for planning our budget and schedule. So for example during a regular maintenance visit he may say, we noticed wear on the steering tie rods and they will need some work in the next 6 months. Now I know what to expect and can plan for it. Very confident in this dealership and thank you Larry. Not going anywhere else!

Joy was extremely helpful with the selection of my new pilot. She explained all the trim levels and options and understood what I was looking for and what I did not need. She didn't try to push me into a higher price range that I was not comfortable with and she made negotiations very pleasant, even with a very impatient 4 yr old and 1yr old. My wife and I had pre-arranged a visit to the Honda of Concord dealership. Our purpose was to have the vehicle we would trade appraised, and get out-the-door figures for what the trade would require. Our sales associate was Joy Spencer. From the beginning we were impressed with her knowledge of all aspects of getting the information we needed. She knew the product, had helpful suggestions, and stayed with us for the entire time, which was longer than we had anticipated. Since this was our third and final dealer we planned to visit, we already had our plan, and ultimately made a purchase. The final costs was not that much, but slightly above what I had figured, and I was comfortable knowing why. One other comment. I don't really have a criticism with any of the dealers and their staff that we encountered in this process. All that we met were nice and none were dismissive. But I think each had boundaries based on how the dealership operated. In our experience, and for us, the Honda of Concord Dealership ranked higher overall.

Terrible service department with even worse customer service! Considering they do not take service drive ins without a scheduled appointment, you would think the appointment time would matter! Not so much with Honda of Concord. As I found out today, my 0800am appointment time only means "they will work the car in within an hour"!!! And this is just for a scheduled maintenance oil change/tire rotation. To make things worse, I had to wait over an hour to finally meet with someone in finance to cancel my maintenance plan and get a refund. And to top that off, they hit me with a $50.00 cancellation charge that "could not be waived"!I'd rather take my car to the local oil shop than deal with this place ever again! Customers beware!

Joy Spencer is the best Sales Consultant of any Hendrick dealership. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. As soon as we pulled-up to the dealership, she didn't hesitate to greet us with a smile. We connected on a level beyond just Sales-Consumer. Joy made the buying process easy by narrowing-down what is important to our growing family; safety, low mileage, vehicle color, and other luxuries. I love my 2012 Honda CRV LE!! Although I chose not to trade-in my vehicle with Honda of Concord, Joy and her colleagues referred me across the street to Hendrick FIAT where they handle trade-ins w/o purchase, and there I received the trade-in money I wanted. The dealership team was kind enough to offer us bottled water, coffee, and popcorn; however, the coffee and popcorn were not prepared/available. Bottled water was limitless though :) I will recommend Joy to all my family and friends.

I just got a CRV from Honda of Concord. Had been shopping for several months trying to decide between and Accord or CRV. Keep my cars 10-12 years and have driven Hondas all my life. This is my 4th one, daughter gets the old Accord. Kyle was very patient, informative, and seems to really enjoy his job, and I enjoyed working with him. Isnt the typical car salesman that is high pressure, told him that puts me off real fast. Got that from 2 other dealers, one 2 miles from home and needless to say this experience was as pleasurable as buying a car could be. You feel like you matter from the time you walk in the door, everyone is friendly and helpful. In waiting for him to bring up a vehicle to test drive other employees talk about how great this place is, how proud they are to work there, and even answered questions I had so by the time Kyle was ready to explain it I told him someone else already answered that for me. They arent going to lose a deal based purely on price, they matched my lowest offer from another dealer. Havent used their service dept in years but will try it until my car gets older.

Joy worked with me on the phone for a couple of weeks before I was able to visit the dealership. I wa super nervous about going through this buying process again as my credit wasn't that great and the amount of "no's" I have gotten in the past. But they were able to get me approved for a pretty new car (2009 jetta) for a reasonable price. I love the car and Joy was a pleasure to work with. My only complaint is that the day after I bought the car I started having issues with the battery. When I took it to autozone to be looked at he stated that the battery was bad and should have been replaced long before I got it...which to me means it should have been replaced before it was sold to me. I was told that the battery wasn't covered in the warranty when I called the dealership about it. That's the only issue I have had with the car in the past month so I'm looking into getting the battery replaced now as it has random issues with not cranking even if nothing is left on. I have had to get numerous jumps at this point (I've had the car a little over a month)I'm still grateful that Joy and the finance department was able to work with my current situation to get me into a car that I love so for that thanks guys!

Was looking at Honda Ridgelines since I knew Honda was changing the model in 2016 and lookingfor an exceptional deal. I contacted 6 Dealerships with the model and color I wanted and startedto fine tune a quote from them all. 2 of the dealerships were out of state and one I had purchasedquite a few cars from. I didn't think they were there to sell cars. I ask Dave Fuge a question and he was all over it. I shopped several Honda dealers in the Charlotte, NC area. Hendricks was by far the highest. They started out $2000 over the next cheapest dealer. They said they'd match any other offers, but I'd much rather deal with an honest store that doesn't try to take advantage of people who don't shop.Like most dealers they throw in a bunch of add-ons that drive the price up $1000 to $2000. All of the stuff is overpriced and most of it is bull crap or actually bad over the long run. Examples:Nitrogen in tires is bull. they want to charge you $100 to $200 up front and $20 every time they add some. The atmosphere is almost 80% nitrogen that's what you add if you just put regular air in the tires. Check it out at Consumer's Reports. They didn't find any benefitCheap tinting cost over $500 and it is going to cause you grief down the road when it start scratching and bubbling.If you still want to buy here insist they remove all add-ons

Shopped for Accords in Charleston and noticed Concord had cheaper prices, so we called and offered a deal, and Honda Concord accepted. We asked the sales people in Charleston if they could match the deal, so we wouldn't have to drive 3 hours, but they couldn't match this INSANE deal!! We told the sales department that we would be coming off a long trip with two young kids, so if they would please have the paperwork ready to go when we arrived, it would be greatly appreciated. When we got there, my car was up front ready to go. We walked in and signed all the prepared paperwork. James, Phil, and Kristin were awesome to work with. They helped us find a hotel to stay and offered advice on things we could do while we were in town visiting. I recommend this dealership and sales to anyone. And this coming from someone who has a father-n-law who works for Hendricks in Charleston!!!!!!

Its nice experience in there, they are able to explain the details about the car and the market condition. Not much negotiation in price and we end up in paying pretty much same as they have quoted. But the Justification they provide for that price is convincing(its upto each individual).I liked the car(2011 Honda accord SE) so I happened to go there 3 times to negotiate on price and got the deal for $300 less than they quoted. I took a Gold protection plan from them trusting that car will be taken care for bumper to bumper for next 7 years.

What a great buying experience my family received while purchasing our third Honda Pilot from Honda of Concord. I had a 2013 leased Honda Pilot in for service. I was approached by Tony Montana while waiting for my 2013 Pilot. Tony offered me an unbelievable proposal which put me in a 2014 Pilot with less than 6,000 miles on the odometer. Tony was very attentive to what I wanted in a newer vehicle. Tony was very professional the entire time. He knew what I wanted and conveyed this to the Sales Management Team. I was able to meet with the Sales Manager and solidify the deal. All of this happened on a Saturday morning, easily their busiest time of the week. They were so busy selling cars that they ran out of chairs and desks to close car deals. My family could have very easily been brushed off as just another potential buyer, but this was not the case at all. My family actually enjoyed the entire buying experience so much that we're considering additional purchases from Honda of Concord. A fantastic buying experience overall start to finish.

Do not waste your time with this dealership. I have owned 5 Hondas and have never been able to get a deal done with them. Their attitude toward customers is condescending and unless you are ready to give them a wildly profitable deal... plan to sit there for a while. I tried to do the "Exchange Program" with my previous Accord. I wasted several trips there to just be extremely lowballed on the trade. For both trips there, I was assured we could get the deal done. Never happened and went with another dealership that got me in the new Accord... same trim, color, payment, and term. Honda of Concord said they could do it to get me in the door, and just wasted several hours of my day... twice. They just try to knuckle ball you into a lease and pretend you have no equity... despite what Kelly Blue Book states. I cannot understand why anyone in their right mind would sign up for a lease. The one caveat to that would be a business because they can expense a lease payment. From a personal perspective... you are just throwing money away. So now I am looking at upgrading my Odyssey under the pretense of the "Exchange Program". I give them a another shot (I feel like I'm understanding that definition of insanity... where you keep trying the same thing but expecting a different result) and again I get the lowball trade and a payment way above my current payment. The Exchange program is a joke and there is no trading your car in and keeping the same payment. The real program is to get you in the door under the Exchange Program pretense, and then let you sit around so long you will sign anything you finally get out of there. Save your time and sanity and visit another dealership... you cannot work with them unless you are willing to pay... in time and money. Further, why are all the cars loaded to the gills with accessories that no one wants? For example, the carcinogenic chemicals of the stain treatment & paint protectants, the unsightly 80s pin stripe, window tinting on a minivan that comes from the factory with tinted windows, mud flaps, window visors, and etc. I think adding all this grossly marked up profit generators is out of control; and it should be up to the customer if they want to add certain accessories, instead of having them picked for them, and charged for things they dont even want.

From the time we were introduced to Winfred Coe upon entering the dealership, until we drove off in our brand new Odyssey, we were treated with respect and well listened to. I presented our budget and our down payment up front, and knew that leasing was the way we would go. Winfred made the test drives of two models happen within minutes, even though that meant test driving the last model of a vehicle on the showroom floor. Nothing was too difficult, and at no time were we pressured to spend more than our budget presented. It was a great experience and now our family is riding in one of the safest and most dependable vehicles on the road.

This is my 4th pilot I have purchased through Honda of Concord and every experience has been really good and I obviously love the car. The service there is exceptional as well! I would recommend this dealership to anyone!

I have bought several Hondas in the past from neighboring dealerships. I went to my normal dealership on Saturday to purchase a car but was not happy with the way they were hiding the numbers on paper. I decided after church on Sunday to check out Honda of Concord, I started texting Joy on prices and colors they had and then we dropped in to look and I was amazed on how much knowledge and friendliness that Joy had. I was amazed at how they showed you everything on paper and had nothing to hide. They sold me the Honda for the same price the other dealership quoted me. After the paperwork was done Joy showed me how to use the Bluetooth and the other functions of the car. I found a new family, new dealership to buy our cars from and I'm extremely satisfied! Joy calls or texts to see how everything is going withe the new car. We will be buying 2 more cars from them here very shortly. I highly recommend Joy to anyone that's looking for a Honda.

My husband and I purchased a new 2014 Honda Accord EXL from Honda of Concord a few days ago. This is the second new car we have purchased from Honda of Concord. Tony Montana was our sales representative and he did a wonderful job of making the processing of car buying a pleasant experience. Tony went over the new features the Accord has and helped us through the purchasing process. We have used the Honda of Concord Service Department for two of our other Hondas and have always received the best service. David Ittoop has been our service manager and is always friendly and handles our service requests in a professional manner. We have a Honda dealership closer to our home, but we drive to Concord because we believe Honda of Concord is the best dealership and very customer focused. My experience was absolutely wonderful. I had to pleasure of working with Robin Owens, she really made car shopping fabulous! When going to a dealership there are so many factors that come into play like down payments and credit scores. I test drove a Honda Accord and Civic before awaiting the approval. Just when I was ready to leave Robin came back with one more option a 2013 Honda Civic. Featured with rear cam, Econ gas saver, and digital features! I drove off the car with a car with less than 6000 miles, practically a new car for a great price! I started my search via internet with Jeff Bogan. I stopped in the dealership just because I was driving by just to see if they had any used Honda Fits on the lot. It was Jeff's day off, so I was assigned to Robin who in conjunction with her sales manager Caiden got me in a new vehicle for just a couple thousand dollars over what I wanted to pay for a used Honda Fit. Friendly staff and they worked out what I thought was a good price for me. Although Jeff was not my salesperson that day, he did deliver the car to me the next day. Jeff went over and above in helping me make sure my Fit was equipped the way I wanted it as I did not have the opportunity to see it before I purchased it. (Dealer trade). These folks WILL stay in excellent communication with you without being too pushy. If I was to feel pushed into purchasing, I would have walked out. Caiden and Robin simply presented the deal and helped me though the pros and cons. Thanks to Jeff, Robin and Caiden for making my new car purchase something pleasant, which is not at all what I expected from a large dealership. I've had the Fit for a couple weeks and love it so far!

I am one of those people who just dread purchasing a car. It usually seems like a well-choreographed dance resulting in final submission on my part due to frustration. I purchased this 2012 Honda CR-V off the internet for my father, and got the paperwork started thru text. I really enjoyed not having to physically go into the dealership to negotiate. Joy was very understanding of my needs and price point. I was a little anxious about buying a vehicle sight unseen, but the transaction went smoothly and the CR-V was exactly as depicted in the internet ad. The salesman Trent was courteous and helpful. Be warned when dealing with the managerial side of Honda of Concord. I purchased a vehicle and did a plate transfer. The office made a mistake and ordered me a new plate despite clearly being told we were doing a plate transfer. This created a new $400 bill for me from the state (I just paid my vehicle tax on the old vehicle).Then the finance guy (Ted Johnson) lied and misrepresented my situation to the sales team when I questioned why I was receiving a new plate in the mail. Ted viewed my previous title and registration and assured me everything was a "go" for a plate transfer. He even emailed me in the same week of the purchase requesting a picture of the old plate for his records. Well, fast forward to me getting a new plate and all of the sudden I can't do a plate transfer because Ted didn't put my wife's name on the new title despite me asking him if it was necessary. When Ted learned I could NOT do a plate transfer did he call me? Did he ask me if I would like simply to have my wife's name put on the new title? You guessed it... not so much as a peep. He stayed quiet because it would have involved Ted having to do a little paperwork. Instead he just went ahead and applied for a new plate without telling me. When I called and spoke with the Finance Director (Mr. Fogg) he told me to kick rocks. He felt Honda of Concord did nothing wrong and had no obligation whatsoever to contact me after they screwed up. I will NEVER purchase a vehicle again from these xxxxxxxx. I have never been treated the way I was at Honda of Concord when purchasing a new or used vehicle. Be warned! After they get your money is when all the niceties wash away and the ugly interior is exposed.

Minor note to all car dealers: Every car that runs should come with at least TWO keys. If they take in a trade-in without a second key, and are unable to obtain the 2nd key from the owner, then they should go ahead and make a duplicate without the new buyer having to request it and wait for it. Great service from Joy Spencer. Honda of Concord made the extra key as quickly as they could. Highly recommend this dealership.

This dealership is very efficient when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. I first inquired the car on Saturday, April 19 2014, and was contacted in less than hour of browsing online. I was able to come and test drive the car that night, and fill out most of the paperwork that was required. I was contacted on Monday saying that I could come and get the vehicle. All of the agents that assisted my boyfriend and I were very friendly, and I was impressed at how quickly everything was handled. I was also impressed that they cleaned the car very thoroughly, and filled up the tank before sending us on our way. I will definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who is searching for a new car, and my boyfriend has stated we will also be returning there whenever it's time for him to purchase one as well.

From the moment we drove onto the dealership lot, we were greeted by friendly and attentive people. We were shown the exact models we wanted to see and not directed to other models. This was good as we did not wish to see anything other than the CR-V. Joy listened to exactly what we wanted and answered all questions thoroughly. After we chose the car we wanted, all paperwork was completed with, once again, explanations during each step. We told the sales person what price we wanted to pay and everyone cooperated to the max. I am the sales manager at another car lot. I needed some help retrieving a radio code for a vehicle that I was selling. I called in and spoke to a service advisor about the problem that I needed help with. What really impressed me was their willingness to help me even though it was apparent I was not going to be spending any money with them. Within 5 minutes my problem was fixed. There are a lot of places that if you are not spending money with them they have no reason to help you and they showed that this dealership is not like that. We have now bought 2 new cars from Honda of Concord, and both experiences have been good. We received good value for our used car. While you have to negotiate and know a target price for your desired vehicle, their sales people were very reasonable. We found Dave Fuge to be very helpful and would recommend using him. Brian in finance was also friendly and knowledgable. The facilities are clean and spacious. Vehicle selection is very good. I recently leased my 2nd Honda through Honda of Concord. I live about 30 miles from this dealership, I have two Honda Dealerships that are much closer to my residence, but it was worth the trip. Honda of Concord was able to help me out of a bad situation by taking my trade-in on a van that I re-aquired through a nasty divorce, as well as my first leased vehicle which was a 2011 Honda Civic. Since I had to drive 30 miles, they were able to do most of the deal through email/phone, and had all of the paperwork ready upon my arrival so all i had to do was pick out the new car color, sign the paperwork. We were out of there in less than two hours. The dealership was extremely clean, the customer lobby was stocked with water and popcorn, and all Honda employees made sure that all customers were attended too. There was no shortage of Car inventory either. My salesperson James, was very attentive and ensured that my new CR-V was cleaned, gassed up, and ready for us to leave. I can say confidently that with the two cars I have leased through Honda of Concord, I have had a great experience thoughout the whole process. The dealership process was great. The vehicles themselves are high quality, fun to drive and reliable. The finance company, America Honda Finance makes managing my lease account extremley easy, especially with the online account. I am happy to call my family a "Honda of Concord Family". I will definitley be back in three years to lease again.

I've purchased/owned l12 hondas since l975 including the original honda-and have been to every dealership in the area. I've had some good experiences and a few bad ones along the way, but I'm a loyal honda owner. We recently purchased a used 2000 CRV to use as a second car, and we were blown away by the customer service. They worked on the car, cleaned it, etc-all kinds of things we weren't expecting for a used car. They weren't high pressure and made the experience pleasant. A week later, we decided to trade in my 2010 honda for something newer. I worked with Trent, Caiden, and Brett and felt that I was being treated respectfully. I kept changing my mind about the features I wanted and even the model-but they were patient and didn't give up on me. I could easily go to a few dealerships closer to my home and probably get a comparable deal-but I plan to do business with Concord Honda from now on, and I'd recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a new or used car.

Son bought 'affordable BMW" did not try heat when leaving dealership, nice warm day, drove back home 150 mles and next am noticed heat not working. Placed call to service dept that day, told them heat not working, stated, "oh sure, bring it back to this dealership and we'll repair it". Took day off from work and drove down to Concord. ?Repaired heat (changed coolant), about 5 miles from dealership, heat stopped working ( 26 degrees outside), immediately returned to dealership and notified them, it's stopped heating.. Was told, you will have to take to the BMW dealership and pay for the repairs, this is an "Affordable car" and heating is not covered. A $14,995 car,DOES NOT have heat, what exactly is covered in the 34 pt inspection, ?do the cup holders work, is there glass in the window, is there a battery in the motor compartment?, come on now. I thoroughly understand this is used car, it is not perfect, but with a 14k car, with a 34 pt inspection, wouldn't you at least expect heat??? Am I being unreasonable? Had also purchased an $1799 extended warranty that covered heating system but everytime I ask about it, I'm told "oh, it's not in our system yet, so you can't use it". bought car on 02/09/14, 9 days ago, this is not the stone age people, we have computers, you cannot get the warranty in the system in 9 days, but processed the check for the car the next business day. Also the extended warranty is from "Hendrick AutoGroup!!!! Duh, my son should have seen the coming.

I called up Honda of Concord as a last minute check in order to see if they could better the quote I had from Priority Honda (Huntersville). Sid spoke to me and said he would call me back. After some time, he said that they could better the deal by $75. That was enough for me, as I knew I was already skating on the thin section of the deal ice. I submitted my credit details online and Sid said I was approved for Honda Finance. I went in to the showroom where Brian Emmerich (business mgr) told me that could not match the finance rate I had from Truliant. I told him that they had 5 min before I walked out! Chip then came to me and we managed to work something out.Later on, I worked with Brian where he patiently explained all the paperwork to me. I was given the explanation of the extended warranties but never pushed to buy them. I only opted for gap insurance as an extra and that was that! I left with the VIN of my new CR-V which is scheduled to land at the dealer's tomorrow. All in all, a good experience.

From the moment I arrived, the customer service was great. The rep showing me around, Jorge Ferreira, was extremely professional, personable and very helpful in helping me choose the right car for me. He was very polite and really tried his best to make sure I was a satisfied customer. The car I wanted had to be transported over from another dealership and he made sure it came the same day, and even convinced them to tint my windows a shade darker than they would have otherwise. All in all, I had an excellent experience with Honda in terms of the buying process, customer service, and the product.

We felt Brandon was extremely attentive and informative. He answered all of our questions and concerns and helped us compare features of the vehicle as well as navigate the financing process. He was also doing his best to expedite the completion of our sale as the dealership had an unexpected influx of customers and the two financial processors were suddenly backlogged. Once we provided all of our info to Brandon, he rushed the paperwork to the Finance department, but we still waited over an hour to sign off on the final paperwork. This was Not the fault of the Finance personnel, but was a result of not having sufficient staff on what turned out to be a very busy day. Rich, the finance person, was very accomodating and did his best to get our paperwork completed quickly while insuring we were well informed. Both Brandon and Rich were wonderful to work with and we would recommend this dealership to others.

I went to Honda of Concord to look at CR-V's, and get the trade-in value on my vehicle. What a pleasant experience! A special thanks for the tremendous help and outstanding service from Chip Owens, Yolanda Williams, and Richard York, as they helped me throughout the process. The dealership is a first-class operation. To my surprise, and absolute delight, I drove home in the first new vehicle I ever bought, a 2014 CR-V, that very day! Wow!! I've had it a month, but I'm still making up excuses to drive it! I'm looking forward to dealing with Larry Burris, the Service Manager, whom my neighbor speaks highly of (she's purchased 3 Hondas at Honda of Concord.)

We just purchased a barely used Accord from Honda of Concord. We purchased a new Honda Odyssey from them in 2007 and have used their excellent service department for maintenance and repair for the past 7 years. The sales staff was helpful, courteous, and low pressure. The service department is outstanding. We will certainly make our next Honda purchase from them and will continue to use their excellent service department for all of our maintenance and repair.

So, it came time for me to buy a newer vehicle. My previous one had begun to give me a few problems, and I like having something more dependable around. Mind you, I was not looking for anything new, but a mid to late 2000's midsized SUV that would pull my trailers with ease and still be a comfortable ride. Searching the internet, I checked the used auto section at Honda of Concord, and found exactly what I was looking for, a very well equipped 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When I called to check on the Jeep, it was actually at an affiliate dealership, but they gladly brought it to the Honda dealership for me to look at. I met Richard McDonald, and we talked briefly about the Jeep and we went for a test drive. I fell in love with this thing. When back at the dealership, the buying process was completely painless and pressure free. We came to an agreement on price and paperwork was filled out in a timely manner. The interesting thing about this Jeep, It has JUST been traded in at the affiliate dealership and had not even been put in stock yet. It had not gone through their inspection yet, and even though it was already paid for, they still went over the vehicle with a fine tooth comb, and let me know a few things they needed to take care of before they delivered it. When talking to Richard, their philosophy is "we would rather go ahead and fix it now rather than just send it out and you be disappointed with your purchase". I agree 100% I know of 2 other people that have bought cars at Honda of Concord, and they are just as happy as I am. Now, I do not plan on another purchase for a while, but you better believe I will be going back when I do... new or used! Thank you all for a very pleasant experience!

I bought my new Honda Civic yesterday at Honda of Concord. From the time I arrived until the time I left, it was an enjoyable and pleasant experience. They have a huge selection to choose from. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. More importantly, I was able to get the car and the deal I was looking for. The facility was clean and spotless which means this dealership takes pride in the visual presentation to the public. I just bought a used Toyota Tacoma from these guys and the whole process couldn't have been better (unless of course the truck was free). Everyone was professional but friendly, and they spoke to me like a fellow human being rather than just a customer. The facilities are very nice, they offered bottled water, coffee, and even popcorn. They worked with their lenders to get me a great finance rate, and they did a great job of explaining every step. I can't attest to the quality of their service department (and hopefully won't need to). However they are part of the Hendrick Automotive Group so I am sure that they do a great job. I went in on a Saturday and they were pretty busy so you may want to make an appointment. It did however seem like they were adequately staffed and they processed everything in a timely manner especially considering the crowd. I would recommend Honda of Concord to anyone looking for a new or used car, and I look forward to working with them in the future. Thanks Dave Fuge and Ted Johnson for the stellar service!

I just purchased a new Honda Accord from Honda of Concord. With this purchase I walked away fully satisfied with my experience. I didn't have to deal with a bunch of negotiations and the typical 4 boxes spiel. To me, the goal of buying a car is to feel like you got a great car for the best deal. I had done some research comparing prices at truecar.com before going to the dealership, so with the trade-in value they gave me and the price of the vehicle, I definitely feel like I got a fair price on a great vehicle.

I usually NEVER give 5 stars, but I really have to say the purchase of my 2012 Honda Civic from Honda of Concord was a breeze. They were very helpful with getting to a price that was affordable for me. I worked with a gentleman named Dave F. who was respectful and detailed. My car was Honda Certified so it went through the whole 150 point inspection so I left the dealership with peace of mind that the car would be in good function. I, like hopefully most people, did a lot of research on this car and the other options around town. This was the best bang for my buck and I'm glad I made the purchase!

We found Honda of Concord via an internet connection with the salesman, Sid Villerreal, who handled our entire experience. He was both low key and very hard working. We appreciated his efforts a great deal, as this was our first experience with leasing. There was never a question he could not answer, and he was always ready to do that little extra that made everything easier. The dealership was well organized and efficent without being overwhelming. This was the fourth Honda dealer we had spoken to, and it was the best of a very good lot.

I was apprehensive about buying a truck over the internet especially sight unseen other than thru pictures. Joy Spencer contacted me and mad the experience incredible. She made sure that every step of the way I was comfortable and aware of everything. There were no hidden costs or fees the deal we made was the deal we made. We drove 200 miles to pick up my new truck. We arrived later than we intended and Joy was with someone else, but she made certain we were comfortable and managed to take care of both customers with out me feeling like I was waiting around. I can with confidence recommend Honda of Concord and especially Joy to take care of you like you were family.

Just bought our second car through Honda of Concord and as a repeat customer I felt they were even better than the first time around. They really do honor loyalty which I loved. Our sales man was great too, Jorge Ferreira greeted us and asked us what we were interested in. I gave him very specific instructions on what I wanted and what my budget was. He did not pressure me into looking at more expensive cars, only showed me cars we were interested in and was very easy to work with. I love when I can go and tell someone what I want and they actually listen to me, it doesn't happen often.

I came to Honda of Concord after an online search for a specific car. I am extremely glad I made the 76 mile trip to get the car I really wanted! Sid was very helpful and made the long process of buying a car a bit easier. Ted was great at finding me the best deal that I could afford. This weekend I purchased a 2014 Honda CRV from Tom Teiro at Honda of Concord. I am not a fan of the car buying experience, but Tom made this purchase as painless as possible. Tom went the extra mile to insure that my wife got the car she wanted. I called ahead on Black Friday and was greeted upon arrival by very friendly staff, even though they were very busy. I was introduced to Caiden Withey who was my sales person. He could not have been more helpful. I looked at both a 2014 Accord and 2014 CRV. He explained all the features of both before I test drove each one. He made sure the test drive was long enough for me to get a good feel for each vehicle. I decided on the CRV and he helped me trade in my 2002 Accord and complete all the paper work for my new CRV. I realized after I got home I had left CDs in the Accord. I contact Caiden, and he already had found the CDs and held them until I could get back to the dealership to pick them up. Caiden made the purchase of my new CRV a very positive experience.
