An easy going and great experience we had buying our New 2021 Honda Pilot SE. you want great customer service? This is your place! The manager was such a nice person to us, helpful and willing to answer our questions. But the start of our journey was Cedric! This should be the way a car is sold! He advised us the right way, zero pressure, calmed down and sincere about what to expect as well as detailed explanation what we’re getting. Even though we thought about a different color for our car and other dealerships may have it, his right way of treating a customer made us turn around and say “you know what? Cedric deserves this sell. Let’s just go back and buy it!” Thank you! We are in love with our new investment. 💯 recommended! 🙌🏼

I arrived to the dealership for a service on my then current vehicle. When I pulled up to the front of the dealership, I was greeted and not hassled by the two socially distant Salesperson out front. The Saleswoman, Taylor, asked if she could be of any assistance and i informed her I was in search of a particular sales person. She then informed me that the person in question had since then moved to the financing department. She then proceeded to ask me if I’d be willing to speak with her to which I did. And am I glad I did. I was in and out of that dealership in just two hours tops including financing and detailing. They even gave me a great deal on my trade. With this being my 5th vehicle from the Honda of Slidell Dealership, I must say I am truly blown away.

This is a very good dealership; my second purchase here. Brian, the sales person, and Kerry the finance person did an excellent job. Brian knows his product in and out, and Kerry knows the financial end as well as Brian knows HONDAS. This is a very comfortable, non pressure dealership and has a good inventory. On August 25th I bought a used truck from Honda of Slidell. Very friendly and helpful the day of the deal. I traded a small truck in on a full size truck. A month later when the tag came in They told me I owed them fees on my plate. To make a long story short they admitted it was their mistake but still wanted me to pay fees. I offered to pay 100 of 191 dollar mistake. Now they are not willing to help at all. That's just bad customer relation. They are willing to lose a customer over their 191 dollar mistake that I was going to pay half of. I am a disabled man on a fixed income. They got their money from the finance company and going to fight me for less than 100 dollars. BAD BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!

looked online on at their website then went out there to get my car appraised to sell. they're nice on the phone. came in there. its typical car salesman tactics. they are the epitome of why people despise car salesman. they said they can't give me price on my car cause there's an open recall on it but they can take it in on trade if I buy a car. i then saw a car i was interested in on the lot. went for test drive. then proceeded to negotiate. i told them what i'm willing to pay and told them if they can't sell it at that price, its ok. they then had me sign all kinds of documents saying its to show that i'm serious and they will take the offer to their manager. i waited and ate free popcorn and cookies. they came back and said they can't do it. I was ok with it. and was ready to leave, but they wasn't finished, the pushy car salesman proceeded to insist on show me a printout of cars within 200 miles and prices and wanted me to circle the car i'm willing to buy. i'm thinking to myself, what the xxxx? i told him i'm not interested in playing his games and not circling anything. i said i have to go and left. i told him i am going to pay cash for the car and my credit score is 800. if i decided to finance. i will not be going back. greets you with a smile, but pushy car salesman tactics is a turn off. those guys needs to be retrained.

I was deceived into buy a a package that I was told was included at no charge by the lying finance person Ken Woods. I also was told i would get a refund after I looked over my paper work and saw the fee for the package I was told was included. I went back to complain about the deception and Its been almost a year and I still haven't received my refund. I've tried numerous times to deal with ken and the finance manager Dawn. I even signed a refund form and still have not received my refund. I've been told the check had been add back to my loan I was told the check should be in the mail, I was even told it probably got lost in the mail. After repeated attempts to talk to the staff by phone in person all I was ever told is we'll take care of it. I even left a message to the owner Ken Lobert with no avail. A year later I'm still waiting for them to take care of it. Just make sure to anyone who reads this review keep a close eye on what your signing and ask what are u signing because some of the people who work their are not too honest. Good luck with your purchases at Honda of Slidell you might just get ripped off.

After doing some research, picked my vehicle through my banks website, and Honda of Slidell had the one for me at the right price with the right stuff. Immediately I was contacted via email, text and a phone call. Upon arrival, the quickest thing was the test drive. The long part was waiting for a spot in the finance department to seal the deal. Cold water, fresh popcorn, warm cookies. Will was patient and answered all of my questions. Too bad the salesman I was with is not listed below for me to give credit to.

Just bought a 2016 Honda Accord Sport at Honda of Slidell. The salesman, Oscar Elzy was great and extremely helpful. Dealing with the finance people was OK once I managed to dissuade them of my desire "not to" purchase their additional warranty coverage. The finance folks while very pleasant were adamant that I also purchase their extended warranty coverage since Honda's vehicle warranty coverage was "limited". Looking at the extended coverage offered, it would have cost me an additional $101.00 per month for what was essentially oil changes and filters. On a 66 month note that was equivalent to $6,600 of additional dealer profit for oil and filters! Did it make any financial sense? NO! The finance people wouldn't let up and almost ruined the purchase of this vehicle.They started out with telling me that the Honda warranty was limited and wouldn't cover most things that might come up in owning the vehicle. Seems like they were creating a negative image of Hondas just to make undue profit on their extended warranty. Most of the items covered under this extended warranty are already covered by several of my auto/home owners insurance policies and memberships in AAA and several credit cards.I wonder how many poor, unexperienced auto buyers might get sucked into this senseless additional coverage and end up paying through the nose for what they could easily afford without the exorbitant extra coverage.

I am a recent college graduate and was concerned about making my first car purchase. However, after walking into Honda of Slidell I was greeted by Nina and she explained the car so well that it calmed all of my nerves about making this purchase. She also knew I was not ready to purchase the car that day, but didn't treat me any differently than someone who was ready to purchase the car. I really appreciated the no pressure approach to showing me the car. I went home to think about it and was not pressured to make a decision. When it was time to purchase the car, Honda of Slidell was amazing. Nina and Mr. Brian made the purchase extremely easy and exciting. I am so grateful to have worked with such amazing people at a wonderful dealership.

I went in looking for a Honda Odyssey due to the amount of people in my family but with limited credit and funds. I was approached by Mr. Keenan. I told him what I was looking for and he was SPOT ON! He gave me MANY choices to choose from along with a GREAT attitude. Such a great since of humor and great to hear me out on what I was looking for. I recently had the opportunity to make a car purchase at Honda of Slidell. The whole process from start to finish was by far the best car buying experience I have ever been a part of. Regina Pace was my contact person. She was very kind and easy to work with. (I contacted Honda the last week of March/fist week of April, but due to work schedule I didn't get down to the dealership to test drive the car I bought until April 23rd.) Regina was kind enough to make sure that I knew that the vehicle was still in their inventory and let me know of any price changes. She stayed in contact with me at least once a week until I could get down to the dealership to test drive. She even contacted me later in the day after my purchase to make sure that everything was good with the car and that I was happy with it. I also worked with Oscar who ultimately sold me the car (sales associate). Oscar helped me get the best deal possible. If you are in the market for a new or used car you should give Honda of Slidell the chance at your business.BTW I love my new car!!Thanks Regina and Oscar!!

My husband and I are from Saucier, MS, which is over an hour away from Slidell. We like purchasing new vehicles every few years. We have great credit and good jobs. I love Hondas, and I want a Honda to be my next vehicle. So, we contacted Slidell's dealership and made an appointment to go by and see what they could offer. When we arrived my husband was greeted by Mark. Mark didn't acknowledge that I was there. First offense. We told him what kind of vehicle we were looking for, but he was hesitant to show us any vehicles. Second offense. We did walk over to one of the vehicles I wanted to see, but the doors were locked. We asked him a couple of times if we could look inside of the vehicle. He was reluctant to even go get a key. Third offense. When he did get a key we couldn't even pop the hatchback because it was too close to the vehicle behind it. Fourth offense. He asked if we had a trade. We have a 2014 Nissan Rogue. Which is a very nice vehicle. Nothing is wrong with it. We have always kept up with it, and we recently purchased all new tires for it. He said that they don't like Nissans and that Nissan gives too many rebates. Whatever that means. Fifth offense. Mike was so negative and unwilling to work with us. After all of these offenses my husband was pretty upset and decided it would be best to leave. My husband called the representative we made the appointment with and told her about our experience at their dealership. 15 minutes later the General Sales Manager Dawn called and wanted to make up for our poor first impression. She asked for us to come back, but unfortunately we were already so offended that we'll NEVER be back. I'm so disappointed that people like him are allowed to work with the public.

I've been looking online for my son's first car for about 2 weeks. After finding a car that him and I could agree on, I stopped in a Honda of Slidell. I just happened to be working in the area last week, so i stopped in after work on a Tuesday. Jordan(J.P.) greeted me at the door genuinely asking if he could be of any help. I pulled out my phone and showed him the car and within a few minutes he had the keys and we went over to take a look. He explained many of the cars details, answered all of my questions and that was it. I told him in the beginning that i just wanted to do a walkaround of the car before going home to talk it over with my son and wife. Jordan was not pushy or even once tried convincing me that i "needed" to buy now. I returned Thursday on my lunch break. We test drove the car. I told him we made our decision to buy the car. We went sit down and did all the paperwork. I reminding him that I was at lunch and couldn't stay too much longer. He went check with the finance dept. and they were currently working with someone else. I told Jordan that i wold need to leave, but we be back after work to finish up. He went get the manager who came and introduced himself to me, and asked when do I think i would return. I told him by 5PM. He shook my hand and let me go with only the words that they would have everything ready for me when i came back. I came back a 4:45 and Jordan was there with another customer. He noticed me and asked me to have a seat and he would be with me shortly. Within 2 minutes, he went over to the manager to let him know I was back, and i was able to go in with Ken, the finance manager immediately. We went through the numbers and i was done in 30 minutes. Since I was there while working and not trading in my current vehicle, they held the car for me to come back over the weekend to pick up. Thank You to Jordan and Ken for making this a pleasant experience

We were looking for a used vehicle so we could lower our payments. We found one but the only problem is we have had it for 2 months and for the first month we had it they were fixing the issues that we had. After that they quit returning our phone calls. We took it to a mechanic the day after we bought it and the check engine light was unplugged along with an oil leak. The check engine light continues to go on and off. I will never do business with these guys again. So be careful if you are looking at their used vehicles and check things out so you won't get sold a "lemon" like we did.

This service department is the best I've ever dealt with! I wrecked my car days before my college graduation and my insurance company took over a week to inspect it before work could begin. During this time I talked to Kristen in the Honda service department literally everyday for updates. She was so amazing! Completely empathetic and acted almost as a therapist to me! On a separate occasion I had dealings with Charity. She is probably the nicest person I've ever met! I did some research on the internet looking for a car. I found a great 2008 Ford Escape at Honda of Slidell. I made a phone call and talked to Carissa, we set an appt. for me to come in and test drive the car. When I got there, Carissa introduced me to Nicholaos and he took me out for the test drive. I loved the car right away, it was a great deal. Nicholaos was friendly and knowledgeable, answered all my questions. I choose to buy the car, but my closing was in Gulfport, Mississippi, Nick was kind of enough to bring the car to Gulfport for the closing. Everything was quick and easy and I am a very happy customer. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to deal with Honda of Slidell.

My initial experience ( with a former employee) was not great. I informed Jeff Spangler of the issues I had and, alongside Kristen (Service Rep) they went beyond all my expectations to make it a seamless experience start to finish. Kristen is always very helpful and friendly. She even offers her personal number to ensure the entire process is efficient and worry-free for each customer. It helps that she is always smiling and strives to address each concern personal to your situation. I have never have to wait and get am extremely satisfied with my service every time. She makes it a point to call and inform you of your vehicle's status throughout the repair process. Daniel was our sales person and we had a great experience with him as well. He was very honest and forthcoming, which negated any dealership 'games' to make it a fair and seamless experience.

I had an amazing experience at Honda of Slidell. I saw a vehicle on their website when I went there the vehicle was still there. I took it for a test drive with Kurt Moisant who helped my mother and I the whole time. He was really helpful and took his time to answer all of my questions. I went to check some other dealerships but the service and vehicles did not compare. I went back that same day to sit down and go over all of the information. My mother and my grandmother were there also and Mr. Kurt Moisant made us all feel so comfortable. This was the best experience I ever had purchasing a vehicle and I will be back in the future.

Latrice and Brian work great together. I had visited 6 other Dealerships from New Orleans to Slidell and looked at a variety of vehicles. At each dealership I went to I told the sales ppl exactly what I was looking for, then they tried to talk me into something I didn't want. Not at Honda of Slidell I told them what I wanted what I had and what I could afford. Brian very quickly found me a list of vehicles and I left there the proud new owner of a Honda Pilot!! We have been looking for an Acura TSX for our son for a few months. I noticed that most cars at this dealership were priced better overall from the start than comparable cars in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette. Nina S. I had a recall on my 2002 Honda accord driver airbag, I called Honda of slidell to find out what were the steps I can take to get the recall taken care of and a woman name Dani had talked to me on the phone and told me to bring the car on in. I brought my car in and Dani the woman in service took care of everything for me, she offered me a ride from enterprise rental car. Dani called enterprise and had them take care of me on an rental car while my car was being fixed, and they also did and inspection on my car. Dani called me every single day and kept me informed of when the airbag would be in and also emailed me the inspection of my car. It was the best experience I had ever had, I am getting married in July and asked about different things my mom had been looking for and if she had found them. I was treated all in all like family. The gm of the Honda dealership was very nice and heard how my experience was, and the other manager in service even hugged my mom and was very friendly. I am in the future going to buy a Honda accord from this dealership.

Every interaction was a positive one with this customer-focused team! I dread car-shopping/buying because of past experiences, but these folks do it right and I wasn't sitting there for hours trying to make a deal. I was lured to Honda of Slidell because the service team was exceptional in previous visits (I did not buy my car there, but had it serviced there). The service rep (Sabrina) was no longer employed at this dealership when I returned to make a purchase, and I explained to the sales rep that she was the reason I even showed up to look for a car. He assured me that I wouldn't be disappointed. Well, they did it again! It was a very good sales experience and I was treated fairly. I recently had to return to have duplicate key made and was impressed by how professional this place is.

Their prices were better than any other Honda dealership around the New Orleans Area, and they were fantastic to deal with - not too pushy, but they didn't ignore you either. We were really "just looking" and not ready yet to trade in my Ford Explorer, but after I test drove the first car I fell in love with it and we were instantly ready to start the process! My Dad and I stopped in at Honda of Slidell on a nice Saturday afternoon last month, as we were greeted by Cory Green all the way down by the Road side, he was very welcoming and allowed us too look around for a bit without following us around unlike other Salesman in the past. After, we went in the showroom where we talked a few minutes about what I was looking for in a Pre-Owed Honda. Shortly, Thereafter he pulled a 2013 Honda Civic up with very low miles and we test drove the vehicle. When it came time for my trade in amount and the price of the Civic, all the numbers were broken down and the biggest reason why purchasing on my first visit was the no pressure and Cory was not just worried about selling a vehicle, he seemed very interested in making sure it fit my wants, needs and most important my budget. VERY OWE-SOME WAY TOO BUY A CAR.

My husband and I purchased our first Honda a couple weeks ago. We went to the dealership just to look around. We had seen a Honda Crosstour in a parking lot and was curious about this type vehicle. We were approached by Nina Eveque, a very nice saleslady at the dealership. We told her we were not there to buy..just looking. She showed us a pre-owned certified Crosstour that was on the lot. She suggested we take it for a drive to see how it handled on the road. We did and we were hooked! We closed the dealership down that night buying this vehicle. It was in immaculate condition and had everything we wanted on a car. The finance department gave us a great rate and did not play any of the games that most dealerships do. Once we picked up the car, we had an issue with a very unusual problem that took a few days to handle. The staff was superb in keeping us informed of their progress and what was being done. The issue was so "unusual" and such a rare situation that no one would believe me if I told you what it was..it had to do with ants and that's all I'm going to say. This dealership jumped through hoops taking care of us..they were the PROS!! Like I said, it was a 3 day problem but they got to the root of it, solved it and treated us like a king and queen. I cannot say enough about how professional they were. We are very very pleased with Nick and the staff, all the service we have received, and how well this car operates. We just love it! It is the first Honda we have ever owned and we are both in our 60's. The funny thing is, unless we had not seen that Crosstour on the parking lot at Walmart, we would never have driven to this dealership to look at this car..we were just so impressed with how it looked we wanted to see one up close. The rest is history! I highly recommend Honda of Slidell to anyone looking for a new or used car. The staff is superb and very friendly..they even feed you cookies and popcorn while you wait..ice water is in the fridge!! They are well informed, know what they are doing and are very very professional. The dealership itself is impressive and comfortable. It's a pleasure to wait while your car is being worked on. My husband and I are pleased and feel we have gained a nice working relationship with a nice group of people.

My husband and I visited this dealership just to see if there were any Honda Crosstours on the lot. We had seen one in a parking lot and really liked the car. We were not in the market to buy..just look. As fate would have it, this wonderful saleslady, Nina, approached us, we told her we were just looking..she showed us a pre-owned vehicle and offered to let us drive it. Short story, we closed the dealership that night purchasing this car. Everyone at this dealership was outstanding! We were able to get a great rate, the car was detailed and looked like a brand new car, we were shown complete details of all the work that had been done on the car..nothing was hidden. The finance department did not "play games" as most dealers do..they were fair, honest and above board. We have taken the car back for promised work such as pinstripping, etc and they have been on schedule and held true to their word. We love the car and feel we have new friends we will be working with for many years to come. We are very very happy with Honda of Slidell. Great people!! Your manager and I agreed on a price including all of your fees of $17,677 and I went into finance to do the paperwork.When presented with a contract to sign, the figures were much higher and I complained. The finance guy told me his way or the highway. I chose I-10.I ended up paying $17,097 including dealer fees at AutoNation Honda Mobile so I very happy with my deal. I also am financing through American Honda Financial company who your finance guy said I could not finance with. Long story short; you have a desk manager that does not keep his word, Kerry and a finance guy that belongs elsewhere. Is that the way a "Time Dealer Of the Year" operates?

I needed to sell my truck quickly. Because of the market, and after more than 2 weeks of time and expense, I could not sell it. Having to accept a Trade Price to sell it was a tuff decision to make. This truck was a nice one, but every dealer I took it to offered the same amount. Much less than we hoped for. Then Jeremy Stagray at Honda of Slidell took the time to not only go over the truck with a fine tooth comb, so to say, but finally offered $200 more than anyone else. He also took the time to tell me some things that I didn't even know about my truck. He was the most patient salesman or buyer that I have ever dealt with in over 40 years of buying and selling vehicles. No light statement for me to make. I was not only impressed by Jeremy, but the entire dealership. The concept that they use for dealing with customers is ahead of the industry standard and trend. They are changing the way the car buying, or selling, experience is for people. Never pushy and very patient. Service was excellent from start to finish. Came prepared with Kelly Blue Book estimates of trade in values and the car we were interested in purchasing. We brought clear titles and registration so we were very prepared. Everyone at the dealership was professional and friendly. They have to be some of the hardest working folks you'll ever meet- I didn't see anyone who wasn't giving 110% to keep things moving- especially our salesman, Oscar. They gave us a very fair price both for our trade in and our new vehicle. Nevertheless, it took us about 5.5hrs total from test driving the vehicle we were interested in to processing two trade-ins. Selling and Buying cars is a lengthy process and there are always some wait times involved as things get processed. The dealership kindly provided complimentary water, popcorn, and cookies. I wish they had had some healthier options like fruit or bagels. My only suggestion would be to either pack a lunch or at least snacks. Overall though it was a great experience!

Used Autotrader.com buying service to get an offer on my 2011 Jeep Wrangler and Honda of Slidell came up as a dealership participating in the program. The offer was substantially higher than I expected so I called and asked if this program was real or just another scam to get people on the lot. Jeremy Stagray, of Honda of Slidell, assured me that the offer was real if my car presented as I had listed it. When I got to the dealership they bought my car on the spot for more than was actually on the offer sheet. Everyone I came in to contact with was friendly and helpful. Jeremy Stagray was great! He's very low pressure and easy to work with. I will recommend the dealership and the Autotrader service to others. In fact, I already have.

For over a month, Ive been trying to write a second review that would be fair to all parties. I have, however, been unable to find the right words. This dilemma probably exists, because whats fair to one person or party isnt always fair to another. So instead of trying to be fair, Ill just present the facts, and what I believe to be true. Facts:1. See first review written.Found at bottom of this review.2. Had a five day wait from the time I requested an appointment with Nissan of Slidell until I could get one.3. I was offered a rental car by Honda of Slidell while my car was being serviced, which I declined.4. Ms. Lauren Miano from Honda of Slidell called to check on the progress of the car, and has continued to offer her assistance. My sincere appreciation goes out to her! 5. Nissan of Slidell had the car for almost two business days. On the second day around 2:30 I was told the car was ready.6. Problem as written on paper work. Checked ground at transmission and found connector too painted bracket. Removed and clean connector at ground cable on front of the engine and rechecked pass. In English: paint on a cable was causing it not to connect with what it should have been connecting with.7. So far I have not experienced any problems with the car.What I believe: 1. I believe with all my heart that I was not the first person to experience/know of the cars problem. Did the previous owner experience the same problem? Is that why he or she traded the car in? 2. I believe that Honda of Slidell has acted in Good Faith as it relates to business, but not as it relates to a human being. I say this because good faith as it relates to business and human beings are two very different things. Relative to human beings, I should have been given the option of selecting a different car from their lot. However, considering the world in which we live, I realize that they arent sure which customers are honest and operating in good faith, and which ones are not. While I dont blame them, it does sadden me. 3. Lastly, I believe in God. Ive asked God to make sure that this car has no other problems than the normal wear and tear that you would expect from a car.1st Review Of Honda of Slidell:On April 30, 2014 I purchased a 2012 Nissan Versa with 5,700 miles from Honda of Slidell. Thought I had been blessed, but instead, I had been cursed. The car has been nothing but a problem since day 3. It runs like a 10 year old car, and acts as if its going to cut off on me. I was almost hit from the rear when the car started malfunctioning on the highway.When I took it back to Honda of Slidell, on the 13th of May, I was told sorry, but there's nothing we can do. Take it to Nissan of Slidell because it's under warranty. Why should I or anyone else have to take a car that was just purchased from them, less than 15 days ago, to another dealer? What should have been said is what can we do to make this right?Beware! Honda of Slidell treats you like Royalty when you're buying a car, but like a peasant when you have a problem

Explained the research and practical basis for our price range and got good feedback on dealership customs and possible outcomes. Appreciated that sales manager sat with us. I spoke with Thomas about what I was looking for. When I went by the dealership he had already taken the time to review the entire inventory and single out several cars that fit exactly what I was looking for. After a few test drives I ended up buying the first car I test drove.

Melissa was the most professional and knowledgeable sales person I have ever done business with. We had driven from Mississippi because the Honda dealership there could not meet our requirements. Melissa knew more about this vehicle than the gentleman helping me at the Mississippi dealership. She explained practically every detail of the Honda Pilot. She helped me sync my phone to the vehicle and even helped me clean out my van and helped with my childrens' car seats. She was very enthusiastic and kept us up-to-date on the purchasing process. I was even given a tour of the service department for future maintenance. She did everything she could to get us the price we needed. She was also juggling 2 other clients and gave all of us equal attention. She is definitely an awesome multitasker. I can not express enough how professional and courteous the staff at Honda of Slidell was during my leasing experience. From the second I walked in the door I felt as though I was in good hands. I was greeted by Nick who then introduced me to Curtis. I was taken to see my new Crosstour (which I love) and then for a test drive while Curtis pointed out all the features of the car and even set up my Bluetooth for hands free cell service. He and Nicks attention to detail and knowledge of their product made this one of the easiest car leasing transactions. Once all the decisions were made Curtis sat down with me and explained the services offered by them and walked me over to the customer service area to introduce that team to me.I was then introduced to Dawn who handled the finance portion, she too was great to work with and explained all the details that sometimes just are hard to understand when working with numbers. I literally could not be more pleased with the service I received at this dealership. I had researched for a few months to make sure I was buying th car that was right for me, and decided the Accord EX-L was the best fit. I started by inquired through cars.com and promptly received an email from Katelin the next morning. She was very straight forward, as she listed the price in the first email. I then made sure she knew I wanted navigation, and she then sent me a second email with the correct price.I made an appointment to meet with her the following Monday, and as I was greeted by her at the dealership, she was extremely friendly and let me know she only handled internet consulting and would pass me on to a salesman. As a 24 year old, car buying is never very fun because I am never taken very seriously. It is often assumed that I don't have the money or the credit to buy what I am looking at, and I always feel as though I am an inconvenience. Finding this trait in a dealership leaves me walking out not long after getting there, and I am SO happy to say this was not the case with Honda of Slidell! Brian never once asked my income or if I even knew what credit was before or during my test drive. After test driving, I decided this was absolutely the car that I wanted (as I have test driven a few other vehicles) and I couldn't argue the price that they were giving me. My only problem is they threw in an $800 "Pro Package" that wasn't included in the price of the vehicle, even though they didn't have any on the lot without it. I thought this was a pretty ridiculous charge, but again, for the price they were giving me, I didn't argue much. After signing some paperwork and running my credit, it was then just a waiting game to see what I would get for my trade in. Kerry appraised my car and gave me a pretty fair amount, a little less than I expected and had been offered elsewhere, but it was pretty fair. After I agreed that our numbers all matched up, it was then a waiting game until Godfrey could bring me in to sign my paperwork. They did slip a $2500 warranty in there that I didn't realize I was getting until I was reading over my paperwork. I told him I didn't want it after I realized, and then changed my mind after he was beginning to type up new paperwork - but he stayed patient with me throughout. (I'm glad I got the warranty, by the way. Complete peace of mind!) Overall, I had the most wonderful experience at a dealership yet. It was nice to not have someone assume I was wasting their time because of my age and to finally have a car that I love and to know I walked out with a very fair deal. Thanks Honda of Slidell, I will definitely be back for my next vehicle purchase!!

I bought a Honda Accord used from them.I must say customer service was very much on point very nice staff they have working there. Even though my process of buying my car was alittle drawn out.However my sale rep Brian continued to make sure I was comfortable..he even introduced me to the service department staff member. Who was also very nice.it so happened that when I got the car and took it home to wash it my battery died.however when I brung the car back they serviced the car and replaced the battery with no hassle. Even my finance manager Dawn was on point explaining in detail everything I needed to know about my warranty.I really appreciate that from her.In Conclusion the sale manager Steven who even called me the night they sold me the car to make sure I made it home safely being that my drive was about 1hr from the dealership and it began to rain at the close of my sale.I Got to hand it to Honda of Slidell... you all are a truth example of how a Car Dealership should be ran..THANKS And God Bless!

Buying a vehicle I would definitely recommend Jason Rivers as the best salesman. He goes above & beyond. Kerry Turlich, Sales Manager, was rude! He yelled at me and belittled my daughter. We were having problems with Tracey Alhborn, Service Advisor. Instead of him trying to defuse the situation he asked my daughter how old she was and how many jobs she has had! (UMMM what does this have to do with the poor service Tracey was providing? And why does it matter how old she is because she bought the car on her own and has never been late with a payment.) Tracey was sarcastic & rude. The things she said would of been best if she said them in her head only, but she felt the need to voice her opinions. My daughter said she would bring her car to another dealer for servicing and Tracey said, "Good! Maybe they can explain", at which point I cut her off and told her that it wasn't her job to make those comments & to just do her job. My daughter plopped her charge card on the desk to pay. Tracey scanned it and FLUNG the card to my daughter. I picked up the card and put it in front of her and told her that she needs to hand it to my daughter properly. She said, "I handed it to her like she handed it to me.( The whole time she was smirking) I did yell in the corridor between service and a full sales floor that we needed help since we were not getting proper customer service. The other people waiting for their cars to be serviced laughed & clapped their hands. Tracey was laughing. I asked if something was funny. She said, "Yes, everybody is laughing at you." Tracey proceeded to help another customer, whom was NOT happy with their experience with her either, she moved my daughters purse & belongings without asking my daughter to move them. I would buy a car from Jason, but I will NEVER use their service department!

All of the staff where very friendly. They greeted me when I walked through the door. I mentioned to the sales man a SUV I had seen on a website. He pulled the vehicle up and we went for a test drive. I loved everything about the SUV! As far as the negotiating aspect they defiantly surpassed my budget. Having worked in the automotive industry in most departments (sales, service, finance, business development) for several years I am very biased when it comes to buying or servicing a car. There are certain expectations I have that most dealerships cannot meet, however, that was not the case at Honda of Slidell. I met Donna (back office) while having pedicure's and I casually mentioned my husband and I were looking for a new/pre-owned car. I gave her my contact information and she promised to mention it to the General Manager. The GM Mr. Lobert called me that Monday and asked me a series of questions to better assess what type of car would be better for us either a new or pre-owned car. Mr. Lobert also set up an appointment for us to come to the dealership the following Saturday. When we arrived we asked to speak with the GM, Mr. Lobert introduced himself, escorted us to a table, offered us water, and asked us several additional qualifying questions. He then had Jarmaine (sales person) pull 3 different vehicles to the front of the building. We met him in the parking lot and he proceeded to take us through every car, pointing out various features that met our requirements. Based on Jarmaine's vehicle presentation we test drove only one and ended up buying that very vehicle. Jarmaine completed the necessary paperwork, we negotiated only slightly on our trade in vehicle and they showed us all the work that had been completed on the certified pre-owned vehicle prior to us signing any paperwork. We agreed on price immediately and Jarmaine took our information to the finance manager. While we waited to go into Finance, the GM brought us a banana and some yogurt for our 20 month old daughter because she was getting fussy (it was getting a little late). She ate the banana and it kept her occupied while we signed paperwork in the Finance office. I was prepared to use my own bank for financing b/c I was certain I could get a lower rate. The Finance Manager Kurt however, completely surprised us by getting us a lower rate than even my bank could offer. We purchased the certified pre-owned warranty from American Honda and were in and out of Finance in about 15 minutes. Even when I was a Finance Manager I wasn't as accomplished as Kurt was while determining what best suited our needs. We left the Finance office and Jarmaine greeted us with a beautifully detailed vehicle. He even helped us move our baby seat from our trade a Mazda 3 to our new CRV. The following day both Jarmaine and Mr. Lobert checked to make sure everything was great with the vehicle and I mentioned that there was a nick in the windshield that we had not seen the night before. Mr. Lobert immediately scheduled to have a new windshield put on the vehicle. I told him that I thought that sealing the star would prevent it from spreading further but he said that it was worth the effort to keep a satisfied customer. I can tell you this was the BEST car buying experience I have ever had even when I worked in the industry. Honda of Slidell has an extremely professional and knowledgeable staff. I can't wait to go get my car serviced just so I have a reason to go back, oh and they have delicious cookies and popcorn that they offer their customers, excellent customer service. Thank you Donna, Jarmaine, Kurt, and especially the GM Mr. Ken Lobert, I will be a lifelong customer at Honda of Slidell.

I Lawrence Jackson, purchased a 2014 Honda Civic 4 Door Sedan on March 14, 2014 at Honda of Slidell in Slidell, Louisiana. I was highly impressed with the customer service that I had received during my visit. Ashley, Josh and Kurt are some of best car sale professionals in the auto business. Well I saw a car that I was interested in online and I inquired about it. A lady named Ashley called me to talk about the car. She told me to fill out the credit application on line and she would get back with me. I did the online credit app. I called her to let her know that my app was completed, she told me that she was giving it to the finance people and she'd contact me by the end of the day. Well that was last week and I still have yet to hear back from her. I've left her and the finance department several messages but no one has bothered to return my call. Unfortunately this is the SECOND time that I've dealt with Ashley at Honda of Slidell and she acted the same exact way with me last time. I will never ever look here again for a car. I'd rather deal with professionals who return calls with potential customers!

When I went to the dealership my expectations were more than met, Kerry lived up to EXACTLY what we discussed over the phone and the rest of the staff was wonderful too! From the moment I walked in all of the staff was very polite and helpful. The two staff members that helped me find a vehicle were Megan Manger and Jarmaine Huhges.. Nick (Sales Mgr.) even showed me their price comparison tool that ensures that they are competitively priced vs. any similar vehicle online within 200 miles. My entire experience was very simple and completely Hassle Free. I came to this dealer to diagnose an engine check light. My Honda manual said it indicated a problem with the gas cap. The dealer service rep said "oh no, it could be many other things, so we can do a multi-point check, which you can apply toward any work that is needed". Ok, fine. Nothing was mentioned as to how long this might take. Had I known it would take the rest of the afternoon, I would have rescheduled. I heard nothing for more than 2 hours, when the rep finally told me "It's probably the gas cap, but we're out of them". I asked "if it turns out not to be the gas cap, what's the next most likely cause?" The rep said that info was 'in the tree', which they see when diagnostic equipment is connected to the car". I'm thinking, isn't that what we spent the last 2+ hrs doing? It took another half hour to wrap up the work, then the rep told me it was ready. When I walked to her desk to pay, she said she was still waiting for the paperwork. In the end, after a 2 hr and 45 wait, the dealership had concluded it was "probably the gas cap" (as the manual had said in the first place), and I had no better idea of what the cause could be. The rep said the gas cap seal was probably bad, but it appeared in perfect condition. Since the diagnostic fee could be applied to fixing things in the inspection report, I decided to fix the bad CV joint, which was listed at $190.00. I called in and a rep said that would be fine. When I went in to schedule the work, she said the price was wrong, and that it was really $445 plus tax. Because that too was unexpected, I said, then let's replace the transmission fluid since it was also listed as an issue. But the rep said I could only apply the diagnostic fee to a repair, and not maintenance, something that hadn't been made clear before. Ok, fair enough, but at that point, I wasn't interested in any more surprises. I will probably get some of the recommended work done by an independent shop. Based on this experience, the service was S-L-O-W, the rep didn't communicate well, and there were too many surprises. The waiting area is plastered with awards for great service. Very disappointed. No incentive to return. My original Honda dealer was very good, no surprises.

I purchased a Honda Odyssey in 2012 from Honda of Slidell. Shortly after my purchase my family moved to Hattiesburg,MS. Recently my mechanic found a small problem that needed to be repaired before my factory warranty expired. My mechanic recommended that I go to the dealership to have the problem repaired under the factory warranty. I went to the Hattiesburg Honda Dealership(Vardamon Honda) and to my surprise was told that the problem was not covered under the warranty and it would cost just under $500.00 to have the repair done. I went to pick it up and again (by a different serviceman)was told that my repair was not covered by Honda. I called Honda of Slidell because I had purchased the van and an extended warranty there. I was immediately referred to the service department. I spoke with Tracey. I told her what my mechanic had found. Immediately she asked me the year and mileage on my van and then informed me that my mechanic was correct! (Did I mention my mechanic had previously worked for Honda and was knowledgable about their warranty!) Anyway I explained what had happened in Hattiesburg and she did not understand why they would tell me that it was not covered. Anyway, when I went back to pick up my van from Vardamon Honda, I told the serviceman what I was told by the Honda of Slidell and that I was on my way to Slidell to have it repaired! Minutes later the serviceman calls me over to tell me that they had made a mistake. He said the repair was covered under the original factory warranty! It appeared to me that they realized they had been caught trying to sell me a repair rather than honoring the factory warranty. I would highly recommend Honda of Slidell not only to buy but especially to repair or service. Tracey was so KNOWLEDGABLE, HELPFUL, and most importantly HONEST!!!!! I will definitely be a return customer!

Let me just say the customer service here rocks!! I originally went to another Honda dealership for an oil change and routine maintenance, but the service lady there told me I needed to make an appointment or come back the next day. It seemed as if she didn't want to be bothered because there was no one in the waiting room, nor was there a line of cars waiting to be serviced. Frustrated, I drove to Honda of Slidell and Charity, by far, has to be the best customer service representative I've come across in dealing with the maintenance on my 2007 Accord. She's honest, caring and not pushy. I will pass on going to that other local dealership and drive almost an hour to Honda of Slidell from now on for my service. I recommend that you do the same and ask for Charity!

I have purchased a vehicle from this dealership in the past. My husband took on the buying process himself while I was at work and went to another dealership. He purchased from the other dealership and although I LOVE my car, the other dealership refused to change the oil stating "it's a brand new car, you don't need an oil change until the wrench comes on." Almost 9,000 miles later, still no wrench. Had an issue with the automatic seat positioning system. Husband took it in for service and to have the seat positioning system looked at to be told that I needed to recalibrate it. I had no idea what that meant which meant my husband had to spend another day at the dealership but instead I told him to listen to me for once in his life and go to Honda of Slidell, which he did. The service people were sooooo nice and helpful. Took them just over 15 minutes to reset the car to factory settings and then explain to him how they had to fix the situation. The other dealership called my husband back after our neighbor (who is a master mechanic at another dealership) called the service manager and informed him we had an issue. The service manager then proceeded to lie to my husband and state the service rep misunderstood what he had attempted to explain. What has my husband has learned from this issue? One, to listen to me. Two, Honda of Slidell is awesome and they are our the only dealership we will deal with in the future!

As an inexperienced car buyer, they took me seriously and worked with me to make sure I could drive off THAT DAY in my car... and I did! Honda still stays in touch with me 4 years later with e-mails reminding to get my car checked and coupons in the mail. Anytime I've ever called with questions, they are promptly answered. If I ever decide to get another car, I will only go to Honda of Slidell.

I have been using the Honda of Slidell Service Department ever since I purchased my first Honda in 2006. Now I use them for both my Honda for all my vehicle maintenance. I would use them for my repairs as well but my Honda's don't usually need repairing. Charity is the most informative and honest service advisor I have ever worked with. She lets me know exactly what needs to be done and how much it will cost up front. I would recommend this dealership to everyone.

Everyone I encountered at Honda of Slidell treated me as family, not like they were trying to get me to buy something and get out the door. I visited multiple times and was never pressured to purchase anything; they simply answered my questions and compared the models I was trying to choose between. In the end, I purchased a CRV and was pleased that they were able to find exactly what I wanted even though it wasn't on the lot. I had some paint issues with my 2010 Odyssey. Eric took the initiative and had an independent body shop take pictures and access the problem. He than took the finding to Honda. Honda agreed to all repairs to the Odyssey's paint. I'm sure Eric had a lot to do with this. Service after the sale of a vehicle is just as important, to me, as the sale itself. Honda of Slidell is a great dealership to do business with. From Paul my salesman, who still calls me by my name, 3 1/2 years after he sold me my Odyssey. To Eric and Charity in service, who truly try to accommodate you. My hats off to all of you.

I am a thorough shopper and visited several dealerships prior to Honda of Slidell. My experience there is best described as a breath of fresh air. The dealership was clean; the employees were friendly and engaging, and everyone seemed to genuinely love what they do. I called the dealership the day before my visit and spoke with Megan in Internet sales. She was extremely helpful going the extra mile to not only answer my questions but also detail exactly what would transpire once I arrived the following day. When I arrived the next day I was warmly greeted at the door and immediately introduced to Megan. She had already pulled up the vehicle I inquired about and even had the heat running since it was cold that day. She introduced me to Ashley who was full of energy and showed me everything about the car. I felt like a VIP! I happily purchased and will certainly do so again!

My father had been toying with the idea of purchasing a new vehicle for a while so my husband stopped by a local dealership in Covington close to my home so he can personally see the vehicles he had shown an interest in. The salesman came out to talk to him where conversation ensued and ultimately my husband encouraged my dad into test driving the vehicle. Upon return to the dealership, the salesman excused himself and came back with another salesman. The appearance came across to my Dad and Husband as being tag teamed. The salesmen were informed that my Dad's intentions were to put half down on the vehicle and possibly finance the remaining either through Honda or his credit union and they were asked to give my Dad an idea of what the vehicle would actually cost so he could determine if he was able to pay the note as he is retired and on a fixed income. While he does have some savings, he did not want to deplete all of it in case of emergencies. Since my Dad had not purchased a new vehicle since 1975, you can imagine his sticker shock. He is a retired mechanic by trade, not extravagant and analysizes everything. Both salesman continued to avoid his question and instead tried to sell him a less expensive vehicle and the second salesman finally told my Dad and Husband that "He had Champagne taste on a Beer Budget." At that point, my Husband felt insulted and informed the salesman that it was time for them to leave.When they returned home and told me of the experience, I immediately got online, shot off an email to the Managing Partner of the Honda dealership they visited and started looking for another as at that point, I knew my dad was ready to start the process since he actually test drove the vehicle. I came across Honda of Slidell and was immediately able to chat online with a representative, Dominic. While I did not tell him the extent of the previous experience, I did share a little about my Dad. He assured me they were a dealership that was transparent. We scheduled an appointment that I had to cancel and immediately, Regina Pace started keeping in touch with me. She was extremely friendly and pleasant to talk with and answered questions I had very timely and courteously. When we were ready to reschedule the appointment, she informed me another member of their team would actually meet with us. I explained the type of person my Dad is and how it would be better to not set up the appointment with someone who would be overly agressive and pushy. She set up the appointment with Brian Puntila and met us on the day of the appointment to introduce Brian to us. I believe Brian was a great match up to work with my Dad and appreciated Regina listening and paying attention to my concerns. Brian was informative, accomodating and gracious as we visited during their Christmas celebration. It was such a wonderful experience seeing how the Management and Owner appreciated the employees and their families. Brian negotiated the deal in a professional and comfortable manner. He made the negotiating process less stressful. Once the deal was done and the vehicle arrived at the dealership, Alberto handled the final aspect of financing. He has such a great way of going through the paperwork and interacting with clients as well. He took the dreaded sign your life away part of the process away and replaced it with a much more relaxing experience. Dominic told me from the beginning that their dealership was transparent - made me believe they would work with us and not play games. They did everything they said they would and did it in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. I would definately recommend Honda of Slidell and their team.

I had a wonderful experience with Honda of Slidell! I live in Texas and was in town visiting my family for the holidays. The purchase of a new van was not expected, but my car broke down and instead of paying to have it fixed (it had 200,000 miles on it and was almost payed off) I ended up trading it in. My car was actually put in Honda's shop to be diagnosed, while it was being diagnosed I took a walk around their lot. My husband had already returned home to Texas and as a woman looking at cars alone I was very concerned. I absolutely hate car dealerships because I hate feeling hassled or pressured in anyway. Honda of Slidell did not pressure me in any way or make me feel that I was being taken advantage of. Everyone that I worked with was extremely personable and honest. They answered all my questions, worked with me on my trade and found me the exact car that I wanted. They even spoke to my husband on the phone and answered all of his questions. Jason Rivers, my salesperson was amazing! He really knows how to make you feel at home ... almost like a member of your family is telling you all about their new car! He makes you laugh and is very down to Earth. He was upfront with me and made me feel like he would get me whatever I wanted! The General Manager, Nick Richard was helpful and jumped through hoops to make sure that my financing went smoothly and that I got the most for my trade. Nick even located the van that I wanted in Mississippi and made sure that they got it to their lot in a timely manner, so that I could get back to Texas as soon as possible. Everyone went out of their way and made me feel like I was their only customer! I can not thank the Honda Team enough! A special thanks to Jason and Nick!

Although my dealer and financial assistance was outstanding, service was absolutely HORRIBLE. I was sold a 2010 Honda civic; it seemed to be in perfect condition. Not even 3 months later paint started chipping all over the car. Although this may not be the lots fault, they still sold the car to me in poor condition. Honda has agreed to pay for the new paint job but will refuse to provide money for a rental car/cab services. I am not able to provide my own rental car, I am a college student with no money, no support from family and they refuse to work with me.i have been told "we are already losing money buying repainting your car so we will not lose more due to providing you with a rental". I was told that Honda is a great dealership to work with but yet they refuse to work with me about this situation. I am told a rental car is "only $15 per day". If this is such a "great deal" then why can't Honda pay for their own mistake. I was sold a faulty car and will not be provided with a rental or any other type of transportation. I have three jobs in Hammond, go to school and the dealership is an hour away from my house when traffic is not bad. Because of Honda I will lose my job as a college student who gets no other support. I recommend that you go anywhere but here.

The salesman was a genuinely nice guy. After talking to them for a day, I took a two hour drive to get there. The original car I was looking for was covered in scratches. The second car had a big dent in it and very low tread on the front tires. Then came making a deal. I offered them less than the price on the window. They took over an hour before they got back to me. They offered me a "deal" that was exactly the same price on the window. I walked out. They called me back after I left and tried to give me the exact same deal but presented in different terms so it sounded better. Waste of mine and my parents time to drive me up there. If they called me back at the price I offered I would not go back. They'll try to get you with things like "this is the lowest price on this car in 150 miles". It was the only car in 150 miles. If you bump that up to 300 miles you can find several for 800 to 1800 dollars less on the sticker price with less miles on it.

Upon arriving at the dealership all was friendly, when we stepped back outside to test drive the car again an employee was leaning on my personal car while talking to a group of employees, after i unlocked my car he looked at me and continued to lean on it. i had to tell him to get off my car! The final straw with this dealership was when it came down to agreeing on a sales price, the sales manager throws an auto trader search in front of me and says"We have the best deal you need to do more research, here is a 50 mile search of the car you are looking for and you can see we have the lowest price" Which was a lie, their ad was at the top because it was a featured ad. The whole time he was down playing the carfax report that showed "minor" damage. Upon me telling him that this deal was not going to happen, he said thats fine i am more than confident that we will sell this car and for more than your ridiculous price" Now for full scope, i was offer in NADA value for a car with damage in the history. Needless to say i would avoid this place at all cost.

I was ripped off at Honda of Slidell. I put down $19,000.00 on an agreed appon price of $21,600.00 on a new civic EX with no extras. After the paperwork was done, they took me for $8.900.00. Through deceptive practices and my glaucoma, Honda of Slidell ripped me off. The agreed upon price included destination charges. The car was not even cleaned and the gas tank was on empty. Please protect yourself, don't trust this dealership.

I was very happy with sales professionals at this dealership. Once the sale was complete, the salesman took me for a tour and introduced me to most everyone in the dealership. Having looked around for a car for our son for the past two weeks, our expectations prior to our visit to Honda of Slidell was not too good. The previous four dealerships we had visited either had dirty cars, unprofessional staff (odor included) and horrible people skills. We found a couple of cars we were interested in on Cars.com and ended up with a Great experience at Honda of Slidell. Friendly staff, good atmosphere - GREAT Cookies. Only downside was the Saturday we bought they were really busy so it probably took us an hour our so longer than it normally would have to get our son's new (used) car cleaned before we drove it home. Made deal for used car. Left check for purchase amount. Car to be picked up over the weekend. Received a call the next day that they sold the car. Sales manager said he would make it right. Never heard back from dealership after repeated calls. Had to go back and get my check. Car that was sitting on lot for two weeks failed inspection. Why did they wait 2 weeks and sell a defective car to me ? They probably sold it at a higher price.

Found a used car at this dealership for a graduation present and sons first car. Came back 2 weeks later to make offer. Was looking at two other cars at other dealerships and asked Honda of Slidell to check car and consider my price but don't waste my time if the offer was not acceptable. Was told offer was to low and started to move on to other dealers. Received phone call two hours later to come back and make deal. Made offer and brought check to dealer. Deal was made and check accepted. Left car at dealer to be picked up a couple days later. Got a call from dealer ship the next day saying they sold the car. They inspected the car the day after getting my check and found multiple issues and sold it at auction. I was called and told thon in e "we will make this right and margin is not a concern" by the sales manager. After two days received no calls and still had check. I now have wasted 1 week dealing with these people and do not have a car for his graduation in 6 days. I told them my time line and asked them not to waste my time because I was looking at two other vehicles and need to move fast. Terrible customer service!!!

We went to Honda of Slidell to look at Civics because my wife needed a new car. My wife was very surprised at the quality of the 2013 sedans. She got the EX with the sunroof. The dealer gave us great service and a super affordable deal. We really appreciated the fact that there was no pressure to buy, and they treated us like family. Overall they were all very fair and honest. This was our fifth Honda and our second purchase from Honda of Slidell. Their service department is also excellent.

I needed a used car for a set price because someone stole my motorcycle. I am a poor school student that needs a car to get travel to work and school. I visited many dealerships, big and small, and none of seemed to be concerned about my situation. I saw a good deal on autotrader.com from Honda of Slidell. I made the long trip, I do not regret this. They were very prompt. I was helped immediately. Herbert, the salesman, was very helpful and he honestly cares about his customers. He helped me get the price I needed for the car that I really wanted. Charles, the manager, was willing to help me as much as he could. I walked out with a grin on my and the keys to the car I wanted. I will always return to that dealership, and I recommend you do the same.

I drove 200 mile to buy a new car from Honda of Slidell and it turns out to be a right choice and great experience. We are not only very satisfied by the car that we bought, but also impressive by their professional and honest service.

I have used Honda of Slidell on and off for service of our family's fleet (3) of Hondas. I am not the type who writes reviews but can honestly say that whenever I bring one of our vehicles there for an oil change, I wounder why I sometimes go elseware! Prices are good, people are friendly and the atmosphere nicer than most places. Way to go Honda of Slidell!

This is the 2nd time this has happened with Honda of Slidell. Had to come and write a review this time. Took my wife's car in for a few small repairs. Very minimal cosmetic type things like the brake light rattling in the rear dash, the little gear shift plastic plate was broken, rug on right side door coming loose, etc. There was also squealing coming from the rear brakes, so was just looking for a quote to get them replaced. For the 2nd time in a row of taking the car there, they ran this huge diagnostic (without us asking for this service) that costs just over $100. In addition, the quotes for the repairs I had listed totalled $1,700.00. The rear brakes alone were $250.00. And that small piece of plastic for the gear shift? $50.00. Another $55.00 to fix the rattling light. Needless to say, I most unhappily paid the $100 for un-asked-for diagnostic, took the car to Pep Boys and got the brakes done for $129.00. The only reason I gave even a single Star for the Customer Service rating was because the girl was actually very nice and professional and I'm pretty sure she was doing her job the best she could. But she does have to go by the policies & prices of the dealership, which in my opinion in this particular case, are horrid.

I went to Honda of Slidell to look at a Crosstour and to get a trade in value on my vehicle. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a great price on my trade in. I left with a Crosstour. Staff were very friendly and made my car buying experience a positive one. Scheduled a follow up to have the poly shield put on my new vehicle. Service was just as promised. Quick and easy. Very impressed with my vehicle and the dealership.

I have never dealt with a dealer who left me feeling as completely bewildered as to how I allowed this to happen to me as this one did.The truck I have bought has problems not disclosed to me.The paperwork due to me is being held up a ridicules amount of time and when I call with questions regarding the situation and I am put on hold for people who aren't there and finally told to deal with it.I find out about rebates I am due and they are withheld and generally feel that they are shady .Life is too short for this. Spend the extra 20 minutes and go see a dealer who is respectable and honest.

Total con artists! The service manager (Rodney) promised me my car was fixed and I paid almost $900 for them to do so (rip off as is but I was just glad to get it fixed). The service manager promised me all lights were off (tpms, air bag, check engine) and that brakes were fixed n as soon as I get in my car the lights are on and brakes still messed up. Now they're trying to charge me twice to fix the same problems! So I say if that's the case ill take it somewhere that will fix it the first time so he says you better stop making threats little lady! Ah! How dare him! L To save the best for last the first time I brought it in mechanic not only stole a full tank of gas from me (repairs had nothing to do with the gas tank) but left the gas pump off the car! Chastity lied and swore I was on E when I brought it in so I decided to let it go n get gas at the nearest gas station but it never clicked when I lwas pumping the gas so I decided to stop it at $60 something dollars, got in my vehicle and put in the key when the little girl working comes running out screaming, arms flailing. I almost took off thinking she couldnt have been directing that towards me but instead I got out my car and she's screaming, "Do not start your vehicle! It''ll blow!" I was so scared I was shaking, had to tow it back to them (which they didn't pay for) and spent my afternoon traumatized and helping the girl get up the gas with a bag of kitty litter. They said they wouldn't fire the mechanic but would transfer him to Honda of Covington and give me a tank of gas for all they put me through! It's a shame what awful people they are. WORST DEALERSHIP EVER! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!

She tried to sway us to take the credit offering she had instead of the much lower offer I had through my own credit union- which would have cost us an extra $6000.00.

I came in to get an oil change for my ' 03 accord and was looking the new accords when hector asked if I would like to test drive one. He was courteous, friendly and easy to work with. Josh was the salesman who called me after i inquired about the truck,really cool guy who worked with me on getting this done. Alberto worked to get me financed because of some past issues he had to work for his paycheck that day. I was there all day and everyone was friendly and made it a point to stop by and talk, i worked at a Honda dealership in the past and it was nothing like Honda of Slidell, i recommended this dealership to anyone looking for a used car or a Honda. Service Department is the worst I ever experience in the 6 years that I owned my Honda. My first and last visit to Honda of Slidell. I dropped my Honda Accord off on Wednesday July 11,2012 at 0730 for an oil change. After sitting for over (2) hours. My car still wasn't ready. I had a ride to pick me up,since I live up the highway. It wasn't until 12:30 that someone called me. I was informed that my vehicle timing belt needed to be replaced. I okayed the service for the new belt. Thursday July 12, Rodney (Service Manager) called and said, I needed some A/C work totaling $560. I didn't okay the air conditioning work. Friday July 13,2012 at 0805 (Rodney) called again to informed me that my A/C did not need all of the work that he previous told me and it would only cost $135. Well I approved the service at $135. Friday seven hours passed without me hearing anything from anyone at the dealer. It was 2:55 pm, so I decided to give the service department a call to see if my vehicle was ready for pickup. I was told " I'm not sure Mr. Doe let me go in the back and see. I will call you back in 5 minutes" needless to say no one called me back. 3 Days passed, I had no loaner car. Saturday July 14,2012 I took a taxi to the dealer to pick my car up ready or not. Worked that should have taken (1)day took (3) days. It's obvious the department is understaff and the costomers are sitting and waiting for hours and days for work that should be repaired much sooner.

Ashley was very welcoming and friendly, i had been waiting for this honda fit to go down on the price and when they lowered the price I flew over. I was pleasantly surprise with how smooth everything went including the lowering of the price a little more. the deal was as sweet and warm as their chocolate chip cookies. This was a very friendly and professional dealership to work with. I had a horrible experience at a different dealer (Premier Honda) a few days before and was skeptical about going to this one but thank goodness it was a very pleasant experience. The length of time to work out the deal could be shortened but that seems to always take forever when buying a vehicle anywhere. My sales rep was super friendly and courteous the entire time. He even had a rep in training with him that was doing an excellent job. I look forward to upgrading my used vehicle to a new one at the same dealership in about 2 years!

I had been researching the purchase of a new vehicle for around 2 months. Extensive research. I first reached out to Honda of Slidell while I was price shopping for my new vehicle, which I had determined to be a 2012 Honda CR-V. Holly Shurko was the first point of contact. She was very sweet and very professional at the same time. The price she gave me was very hard to believe considering that the dealership I had gone to for my test drive (a local Metairie dealership) was $3k more. I'm pretty sure I couldn't hide my surprise at the low price. So after weighing my different dealership options I took a trip to Slidell to buy my car. They were also the only dealership in the New Orleans area that had the specific trim level I wanted. David Nguyen was the first person that I met at the dealership and I'm so glad he was my salesman. My husband and I had to bring our daughter along, which I'm sure you can imagine is not the most enjoyable experience, but David was so helpful with her too. They had cookies for the kids, a play area, popcorn, and balloons. My daughter wants to go there every day! David took us to look at the car that I was interested in and we took it for a spin. I wanted that car, but only if the numbers were right. David assured me that he would work to get the best deal and he really worked for me in getting an even better deal than the initial low internet price. We settled on a purchase price and I was on my way to Dawn in the business office. Dawn was so nice and she also was ready to accommodate my daughter. She had crayons and toy cars. It was a really nice atmosphere. Dawn was very transparent with everything and I never felt like they were trying to dupe me. I felt like it was a great big family that I now belonged to because I was now a proud owner of my 2012 CR-V. Even days after I left and reflected on my experience and purchase, I've never been so happy with a car buying purchase. There are no regrets and I highly, highly, highly recommend Honda of Slidell and David Nguyen. There is a reason they have been voted TIME's dealer of the year. Very good experience! A++++++++

Brought my Honda Accord in for recall service and left with a Honda CRV, which happens to be my second CRV. I really love this vehicle. Holly was a great help in getting me started on my test drive while my car was being serviced. Then David stepped in and was a wonderful salesman. Got best price quote by email and phone before i drove 150 miles, all persons I dealt with were pleasant, easy to work with, no hassle pricing, no suprises, I would strongly recommend you email and request a price quote before you buy elswhere.Dwaye Lewis was my sales person and he helped my set up the bluetooth since I would not have even attempted it on my own this was very helpful and actually easy to use.

Staff was friendly.(We even had birthday cake) We drove from Metairie to Slidell because they had a good selection of Accords and they kept in touch by email when they knew I we were interested in a car.(The other Honda dealership (two blocks from me)did not even offer my son a new car to test drive after two visits. We also were not contacted by anyone after our visits. The price at Honda of Slidell was good. The finance guy- Ivan was very helpful. I would highly recommend Honda of Slidell.

From the time we walked in until we left, the entire time we were at the Slidell Honda we were treated as important clients. We were made to feel comfortable. No pushy salesperson tried to change our mind. We had done business in Metaire at the Honda dealer before but had a bad experience and ended up at the Slidell dealership where we went back to when we needed help. I have purchased two cars in the last two years from these folks. Both were used Honda Accords. This last purchase, we got a 2008 sedan with miles in the 40s for my 18 year old daughter. Her first car. From what I have seen, their inventory is cleaner than other places and I think they have a pretty good staff. I would recommend them. Very good experience compared to others.

Took my Honda Civic Hybrid in for the 30,000 mile recommended service. The time it took to complete the service was exactly what they quoted me when I made the appointment even though I added one issue to the service call. The staff was friendly on the phone and in person. I do feel that they could do a better job of explaining what service will be performed on the vehicle and what, if any, options I have with regards to that service. I assumed that there was a set service standard for 30,000 miles as was implied in my manual, but I got charged for "Premium" service and I wasn't offered a choice beforehand. After seeing this on the bill, I asked for a brochure that specified what service was performed. When I got home with the car, I thoroughly looked through the pamphlet and saw that the package included replacing the windshield wiper inserts, along with quite a long list of services and inspections. The inserts for the hybrid model are hard to find in auto parts stores and we get a lot of rain in Louisiana, so I was happy this was included. I immediately went outside to check and they HAD NOT been replaced! As a result, I now wonder what else on the list was not done since I can't easily check most of the other items. Most unfortunate, is that this is the second time they did not replace the wiper inserts on my vehicle. Last time it happened, I had brought the car in for a routine oil change and asked to replace the inserts because they were cracked and streaking. Since I was aware of the need that time, I checked before leaving and when I notified them of the oversight, they quickly apologized and put new ones in. I live in Metairie and drive 40 minutes to Slidell, so today when I called, they offered to mail me the inserts. At no time was I offered any financial compensation or additional discounts to make up for the issue. I won't use this location again for service.
