We came to Honda of Summer to look at a specific car advertised in Car Gurus. It was exactly what we wanted. The staff was super friendly, very accommodating & willing to negotiate. Our SUV was totaled in a car accident. We loved this SUV everything about it. With limited funds from insurance we were on the search to find a similar SUV. We went to our regular dealership for help and suggestions. We were not greeted upon arrival. Once we finally met with a Rep he was helpful until we told him the $ amount we had. He dismissed us we felt due to the lack of dollar sale. However he doesn't know perhaps that was our beginnings and we might go further. So very disappointing. We then. One Rairdons Honda of Chevrolet. Justin immediately greeted us and introduced Duane. Duane was courteous thoughtful kind and professional. He listened to our concerns and needs. We were thrilled to purchase our car from Duane. He is the type of person you feel like he's your friend. We would highly recommend Duane. Not once did we feel rushed pushed or not cared about. Thank you Honda for hiring caring thoughtful kind individuals like Duane. You have a new customer.

As I sit here at Les Schwab on an overcast Monday morning, waiting for my Honda to receive new brakes all the way around, I wonder how it is that your service department missed how bad the brakes were. My 1998 Honda Accord received an oil change (9/27/16) and as part of your service, you provide a Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection and the brakes were rated yellow, which by your definition equals May Require Future Attention in my translation is a CYA activity as most everything on an aging vehicle will require future attention and relieves you of any liability for failures. My confidence in your service department to take care of my car is gone and I nor my car will not be returning. I am confused on how within a month, the brakes began squealing and upon further inspection (not by your service department) were diagnosed as follows: the rear brakes are pretty much gone, as well as the front drivers side and the only wheel with any brake left is the front passenger side. In closing, I will tell everyone I know of your poor service department and their lack of ability to inspect Honda vehicles and provide a quality condition assessment, as I do not want my family and friends to put their lives in peril from driving their Honda without qualified information from your service department.

James was the best sales consultant! My wife was in the hospital anticipating labor and James did such an amazing job coming to meet me at the hospital to finalize all documents. The next day he even delivered the car to me at my home. That is above and beyond and he was super nice and professional!

I brought my Honda into this dealership for an air bag recall and an oil change on 8/12/16. I took a 1/2 day off from work to meet their appt. schedule. dropped my car off at 11:30am and I received a Phone call at 3:30 pm that the service tech called in sick and they weren't able to work on my car at ALL. I'm now pretty pissed off that I just wasted sick leave and they did nothing to my car. I came to pick up my car around 6 ish and Catherine was working the service counter. She put me in a loaner and fixed my car on Saturday. I picked up my car the following Monday,Oil change complete and new air bag installed. when I got home, I pulled my hand brake and it went all the way up and didn't engage the rear brakes.I took the car back the following Friday to fix another safety issue ( seat belt ) and get my E-barke restored. The service tech stated that I needed new Calipers. Really, the e-brake worked fine before my visit to this shop.I got in my car and went home and looked up e-brake adjustments. it took me 10 minutes to adjust and it works like a dream.I will not use this shop in the Future for any service needs

This dealership was the easiest one I have ever dealt with when buying a new car. I told Shannon and Jay my budget and they didn't waste my time showing me models that weren't in my comfort zone hoping I'd make my payments bigger like other dealerships.They helped me get into the exact new accord I wanted that other dealerships said they couldn't. I really appreciated it because it wasn't exactly the perfect time for me to go car shopping... but when your car(08 accord) gets totaled by getting rearended you kind of have to. I really like that they respected my price range and didn't waste my time or theirs. Ive been to dealerships where it takes hours to fill out the paperwork but they were so fast here. I really enjoyed my whole experience with them. I would definitely recommend this dealership to all of my friends and family if they asked. So if you're looking to buy a new car you should definitely check them out. I also like that they still check in on their costumers even after you sign all the paperwork. Thank you guys so much!!!

I was in today 2/1/16 getting a recall service completed and wanted to see what they would give me as a trade in for my 2006 CR-V which I have put about 12,000 miles a year on it since I purchased it new. (111,300) I have never missed a service, had two recall services as soon as I was notified. I have kept the car clean and it has some interior wear but no dents or scratches. Has never been in accident/or fender bender. These clowns told me they would give me 3500.00 for my car! What an insult. Their reasoning is that they have to put in 1000.00 to detail and refurbish it before they sell it for 8000.00. Wow that is a good profit margin that they are making. I was insulted and very offended that they even thought this was a reasonable trade in. Kelly Blue book is 6100 for the low end of the classification for the shape my car is in. I pulled it up on my phone and showed the sales guy... He went back to the sales manager and they came back with 5400 but would have to take the $1000 refirb charges off. Isn't this an expense that is part of selling a car? I am still offended and will never step into this dealership again even for service. What a joke this dealership is! I am insulted that you would try to low ball a loyal Honda owner! I will spread the word to my friends and family that if they want to lowballed on their trade in to go on into Honda of Sumner!

I would like to thank Ann the receptionist for her excellent professionalism and help. I brought my 2006 Honda Accord in to get a low beam head lamp replaced. Ann was very helpful in that she had me go purchase the head lamp in the parts department and instructed me to bring it back to the service department. She then gave it to a mechanic who replaced the lamp in less than an hour. I was not charged labor for this service. Ryan also was very courteous and helpful when he checked me in.

I was in the market for a new 2015 Honda Accord EX-L. This dealership is fairly close to my house, so I checked their website and found one with the exact features I wanted. After making an inquiry, I received an internet price quote for $24,342 which I thought was a pretty good price. After discussing it with my wife, we decided to buy the car, and I had several email exchanges with their Internet Sales Manager, Shannon, to firm things up. We made arrangements to meet with her at the dealership the next day at 6:00 PM to finalize the purchase. During these conversations, Shannon told me that they had two (2) of these exact cars in stock.We arrived at the scheduled time and met with Shannon. She got us setup with some paperwork, and she left for a period of time supposedly to arrange for our new car to be pulled around. Unfortunately, this is when the trouble started. Shannon returned a short time later, and told us that the car had just been sold a half-hour prior to our arrival!! When I inquired about the 2nd car they were supposed to have, she said that that car was actually at their other dealership in Burien. By now, I was starting to smell a rat. When I pressed Shannon to find a way to get me the car that same evening before the dealership closed, she gave me all kinds of excuses for why this could not happen. Instead, she responding by making a series of promises about having the car delivered the next day. In fact, she even offered to have the car delivered directly to my house. Dissatisfied with this, I was tempted to drive to Burien to buy the car there, but Shannon said there was no guarantee that they would honor the price she quoted. Of course, I was disappointed that I wouldn't be driving home a new car as planned, and I was ready to cancel the whole deal because I felt like I was being jerked around. Before leaving the dealership, I told Shannon that we were starting to reconsider, and I would contact her the next day.After returning home, my wife and I discussed the situation, and we decided to give Honda of Sumner one more chance. Before going to bed, I sent Shannon an email that said to go ahead and make arrangements to have the car delivered from Burien. I also asked her to call me after the car had been delivered because I wanted to confirm it was there before we bothered to show up. I waited all day to receive this phone call from Shannon, but by 5:30 PM, I had still not heard from her. Finally, I called the dealership to get a status report, and I was told that Shannon had the day off!! This person, who had promised me that she could make miracles happen on this day, was not even at work!! Of course, I now realized that there was virtually no chance that the car had been delivered as I had requested and Shannon had promised. Teresa, who was now the person I was talking to, confirmed that the car was not there. When I told her about the email request I had made the night before, Teresa checked and said they didn't receive it!! I was astonished... after successfully communicating back and forth with Shannon for two days, now they suddenly have no record of this particular email!! I can tell you that my email program doesn't indicate any problem with the delivery of this email.In a last desperate attempt to salvage this situation, I asked Teresa to see if she could arrange for the delivery of the car that same evening before the dealership closed. She said that she would talk to the General Manager to see what was possible. About 10 minutes later, Teresa called me back to say that either Shannon or the General Manager would be calling me shortly. I never heard from either of them. Needless to say, I'll be buying my car from somebody else.

Found this dealer via TrueCar and thought that they were offering a good deal. Without prompting, they called me to have me come in, and I asked if they were going to honor the TrueCar price. Told by sales consultant over the phone multiple times that they do and not to worry. TrueCar price was quoted over the phone for a car they had in stock. Long story short, I drive out of my way to see the car and complete the deal, and they end up having no intention of honoring the price they quoted me over the phone. Sales guy I was handed off to says that TrueCar shows the "national average" for that general car and that they wouldn't even do that because "cars are more expensive here" and the average is low because "cars sell for less in the south" blah blah blah. Even if all of that is true, to tell me on the phone that I would be able to get one price and then ask for literally thousands more is just a terrible way to do business. I won't be heading back out to Sumner again any time soon.

As a new customer I was calling because I need a new tranny in my honda odyssey. Needed to get a quote. The lady who answered was really rude and just answering phone and then transferred me to someone in service who was rude also. Guess I'll be taking my odyssey elsewhere. I can't stand rude people especially when I'm the customer spending my money. No Thankyou! Cancelled my Friday apt.at Honda and I'm going to meridian transmission. .family owned and very nice. Thankyou meridian transmission! ! I'll be happy to give them 3k to fix my vehicle.

Just bought a 2015 Accord. I worked with Theresa through the internet. She responded immediately to all my questions, was very helpful and super fun to work with. When I came into Jay Lee's showroom, Theresa was there with a smile. Fastest car buying experience I've ever had! I was there maybe 2hrs, walked out the door and drove away with exactly what I wanted. Sarah, who did our paperwork with us was great too. She made the whole process fast and fun! Thank you both!! BEWARE!! Brought Honda in for service only to realize they broke the alarm system while car was at the dealer. Not only did they try to cover it up and not inform us. They refused to fix it and were going to charge us for the repair. Only offer was 15 % discount on what was broken at the dealership. LIARS, CHEATS... do not take the chance with your car. Apparently, if you do a little research this sort of thing happens frequently enough that the BBB rating is low and other have had same experience. Couldn't even get managemnet to return a call to discuss. I think that speaks volumes on how this dealership views customer care and their clients. Find another dealship... why take the risk with Jay Lee Honda.

My mother, at age 90, thought she co-signed on a 7-year loan (for a five-year-old Honda) for her grandson. Upon her recent death, it came to light that the loan was actually only in her name. When I called the dealership to change the title name from my mother's to the grandson's name, they were less than helpful. They were going to check on something and call me back. I did not hear back from them. In the contract for the sale, the salesman had checked off all the add-ons to this car that were available, totaling $5582. This was done at the dealership. He took the contract to my mother's home, and spoke to her for a couple of minutes through an upstairs window, since she could not walk down the stairs. She did not have the capacity to read or understand a long legal contract. The one question she asked him was whether the loan would outlive her, since she was "getting up in years". The only option on the contract not checked was credit life, so the loan was not paid off upon her death. The salesman did not explain what was in the contract, and didn't check the one thing she wanted in the contract. She just trusted him and signed the paperwork. He did not leave her a copy of the contract, probably because he misrepresented what was in it. Taking advantage of the elderly in this way is the very definition of predatory lending. Other than a quick letter from their attorney, who had many of the facts wrong, Jay Lee's has ignored my attempts to try to get this resolved. They did not respond to multiple attempts to contact them by the Better Business Bureau. Buy from them at your own risk! They cannot be trusted. If available, I would give them 0 stars.

We used the car buying website my insurance company subscribes too to find our next vehicle. It connected us with a number of Honda dealers in the area and the internet sales person at Jay Lee's Honda, Theresa, was the first to contact us. She quoted us a great price on the car we were looking for. After talking to the other dealers we decided that Jay Lee had the best price and we liked Theresa's straight forward style. When we arrived, she came out to great us with a friendly smile and proceeded to answer all of our questions with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor. Without a doubt this was the best car buying experience we've ever had (even thought it still took too xxxx long [why can't car buying go faster?]) and we couldn't be happier with our new Honda.

Last month, a few hundred miles over the 100k warranty, my A/C unit stopped working. I recharged freon hoping that would help but it didn't. So I took it in to Jay's but - lo and behold - when they had it in-shop it worked fine. About 10 days later, it conked out again for good. I knew it was over warranty but when I took my car in last week for scheduled 100k and 115k maintenance, I mentioned it had failed again. Not only did they do the scheduled maintenance but my service rep called his manager who Ok'd the A/C repair. Whoopee!!! Feel like I'm good to go for another 100k and Jay's has definitely earned the opportunity to vie for my next new car purchase next year.

Got timing belt serviced,replaced water pump they broke one the bolts on the water pump, did not even tell me they did it until I found out from an independent mechanic because I had to fill up the radiator every day, I took back to Jay Lee for the problem. They charged me again for diagnose and told me it was the head gaskets this time. Oh what a story. Bunch of highway robberies. Noooooo not recommend . Baaaaddd......thank you for reading!

I went into Jay Lee honda in a little bit of a predicament. I owed more on my truck than it was worth and had been turned down pretty much everywhere else. But these guys had an awesome sale going on and told me it would be just what I needed to get out of my situation. Garry was the one helping me out with all of this and was super helpful. Really straight forward and too the point. Justin and Zack also helped and I can't say enough about how helpful everyone was. I didn't think I could get out of my truck but they found a way and I have a brand new car now!

Had a great experience with Jim, Scott, and Justin. I wanted to buy a Honda Fit, but my bank was taking longer than usual to review my loan. I needed the car the day I went in because my other car was overheating and I had no other transportation. They got me a loan from their bank, but it was at a higher rate than the one I expected to get from my bank, so they allowed me to buy the car that day and had me sign a contingency agreement that gave me a few extra days to choose which loan I would use. I really appreciated the extra time and effort they took to figure out a solution that made us all happy :)

I am leasing my 2013 CRV and got a great deal when I got it. I have had wonderful service starting from sales to service. I had my first oil change last month and I had a great experience with them. On April 16 I stopped by Jay Lee's Honda in Sumner to see what the value of my 2008 Honda Element was. I was starting to think about getting a "car" instead of an SUV like my Element. I have LOVED my Element for almost 5years. I was directed to a Salesperson who pulled up a Kelly Blue Book printout, which I had also done at home....the value showed that the Element in excellent condition was valued at about 10,000. I had been looking around and IF you could find an Element for sale, even with over 100,000 miles on, they were being listed for up to $22,000. So my thinking was that I could maybe get a pretty nice car (not SUV) for $5,000. to $7,000. cash out of my pocket, plus my trade in. I questioned the salesman about the difference in Blue Book value and advertised prices on used Elements and he kept saying that they really don't have that much value or that the ones I saw had Lots of fancy options or very low mileage. Anyway, he showed me a new CRV which was very nice and wonderful to drive....but I was looking for a car not SUV, then I drove a little Honda Fit, very small and cute and red. The salesman said that it would get 40 mpg, even though the sticker said 27 city and 36 highway. He insisted this was true no matter what the sticker said. I was afraid my husband wouldn't fit it this little car, so the salesman found a customer in the showroom and asked him to sit in it.The customer was about my husbands size and said he could drive it comfortably. So, I signed all the papers necessary, got a car loan with Honda at .9%. I took the car home. Well, my husband got in the car, barely and took it for a drive and started getting angry...his feet were too big to drive it and the seat didn't go back far enough, etc. I called the Salesman and told him what happened and he said he would talk to his manager for advise and call me back. He did call me right back and told me that I could bring it back the next morning and they would "SWAP" the Fit for a CRV. So I think its all going to work out. The morning of April 17, 2013 I took the Fit back and we looked at a CRV and then a "used" Accord, and then a new Accord, the salesman told me they were all the same price so I could pick out the one I wanted to "SWAP" for the Fit. My husband took his lunch time from work to come take a look and drive each car....we picked the Accord and he went back to work leaving me to do the paperwork. When all was said and done, I was presented with paperwork trading in the Fit for the Accord and paying an additional $20,000.00. I didn't understand what the salesman was telling me so he got a manager to come help translate. I was shocked and got very upset and told them I couldn't finance $20,000. plus dollars (the new interest rate of 3.9%) and I cried and begged them and asked what I could do andhow much would it cost me to get my Element back? The manager, Abraham said he would see and walked away. When he came back, he said he had bad news. They had sold my Element, It was less than 17 hours and my Element had been sold. This morning, Sunday April 28, 2013, a friend called me and told me that he saw my Element on the lot at Jay Lee Honda......He talked to a salesperson about it, asked if it was for sale. Salesman said, "yes it just got back from the detail shop". My husband and I then drove to the dealership to see if it was really was my Element....it is my Element. They had not sold it like they told me. I have been feeling used and stupid and now very, very angry. I feel that Jay Lee Honda in Sumner lied to me and stole from me. They took advantage of an older lady buying a car on her own. AND I am NOT a stupid, ignorant person. I will never give a good rating to this dealership and will tell everyone I know to NEVER set foot on that lot.

I purchased a van from this Dealership and it was a complete nightmare! The dealer dragged its feet in the begining stages of the buying agreement causing the ship date to get pushed. After countless faxes and phone calls the paper work showed up to my bank all wrong Even my name was spelled wrong (after I faxed 5 different copies of my ID to prove I was out of state and dont pay washington state tax) the paper work showed up with washington state tax on it. This delay caused the van to miss the barge yet again. After another week of getting new paper work squared away the dealer failed to get the van to the barge on time. so I called yet again and talked to a manager. he assured me it would make the very next sailing date. So The next day came and I got a call asking me when the van needed to be at the barge. Now I had explianed the barge sailing times and cut off times to at lease 6 different people. including the the manager I spoke to days before. and still no van. It missed another sailing. its is now over 3 weeks later and still no van. After my bank got the dealer a check It was almost impossible to get a return call from the dealer. While i was shopping for a van they managed to call me several times a day. When I did get through, I explained my dissapointment and the dealer agreeed to throw in a set of good floor mats or seat cover to help smooth things over. I requested an email from them stating that we had agreed on the dealer throwing in a set of seat covers or mats. That way I would have proof of our agreement. Guess what? no Email... When I called the dealer the manager said he couldnt find any.. Really no one in the seattle area carries floor mats of seat covers? I tried several times to talk to the owner and let him know whoe my experience was buying a car from his dealer ship. but havent had a return call yet. In short DO not purchace a car from this dealer. I did some research and found that their dealership has had 11 complaints files with the better business bureau in 12 months. Mine I guess will be number 12.

I believe we cant get batter deal any where else.Lancer sales person was very fair and very honest during the whole transaction. They tried the classic bait and switch. They tried to deny it but we had 3 different papers with "deals" that also had 3 different vin numbers when we were supposedly working on the same vehicle. When we tried to point it out to them they said they would call the police. We are so happy to not have signed any deal with such a dishonest dealership. Not to mention that 5 months prior they tried to sell me a used honda odyssey because they were saying that my older one had a bad transmission. Which it didn't according to another mechanic. They had wanted me (the wife) to sign papers to buy and take it home to show my husband and see what he thought. They said I could return the vehicle the next day and have no ties to the deal if the husband didn't like it. I didn't sigh though knowing full when that in Washington you can not return a vehicle once papers are signed. Shame on them for trying to fool a mother of 4. Shame on them for all of their sneaky, deceitful, and dishonest dealings. I am not associated with this dealership nor will I ever step foot on their property again. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, there will not be another time!I will make sure to tell my story to all I know and meet. The video will be on FB.

I purchased a new CRV from Jay Lee's Honda in Sumner. It was a very good experience. The sales person was very helpful and answered all my questions. They gave me a fair trade in value on the old car and a good price on the new one. There was never any pressure. Also the service department is open 7 days a week which makes it very conveinent.

This is the second vehicle I have purchased with Jay Lee's Honda and had a great experience. My only complaint is that they did not give me what I wanted for my trade-in but gave me an excellent deal on my new car. I will continue to use them for all my service and when I will be looking for another new car in the very distant future.

Dealing with Jay Lee's Honda was horrible. After several email exchanges and confirmations with the dealership having the CRV EX L, I was looking for, we made an appointment to meet Terrance to buy the car. When we arrived for our 9:30 am meeting, right on time, Terrance was busy with another customer and asked another salesman, Michael, to help us. We were told that both of the CRV's that Terrance had said were in stock as late as 7:00 pm the previous evening, were not there. We were offered another CRV that did not have the requested NAV system and were told that an after factory system could be put in. My daughter came from North Seattle and I came from Port Orchard to buy this car and we were quite upset that the car wasn't even there. We were about to take the car they had on the lot for a test drive and I decided I better make sure the price was the same as promised in our email before taking the time to test drive the car. Sure enough, the price could not be honored because Terrance had made a mistake. I was furious that we were made promises that were broken. Is this the practice taught and encouraged by Honda to be deceptive and dishonest? It was a terrible experience and I would never recommend this dealership or trust them. We have a Lexus, a Prowler, an Acura and we just bought a Hyundai Sonata and did not have any problems at all. Some of the above cars were purchased by dealing strictly with the Internet salesperson and when we got to the dealership, everything was just as they promised.

I have had the worst experience ever with Honda of Sumner!! I bought my last two cars at different honda dealers with no issues at all. Last month I traded in my odyssey for a newer one. After I sign the paperwork I was told they only had a valet key for the odyssey I was buying. Then they said they would give me a new key with a fob. I was told to come back the next day to have it made. I went home to get my son and he noticed the back seat had no seat belt buckle, so he had to use another seat. I came back the next day to complain about the seatbelt missing and they finally replaced it. I asked about the key and fob over 5 times and they kept giving me the run around. I still have not received it and now I have to use the key in the door to unlock and lock, power sliding doors aren't worth having if you don't even have the fob to open them!!! Now that's not all! I was contacted by the bank I had my trade-in odyssey loan through and they say Honda of Sumner never paid off my trade-in. I called Honda of Sumner and was told they couldn't look anything up at the moment and they would have to call me back. I am going to start bringing family down there and start a scene. If they want customers, this is definetly not the thing to do! Everyone they screw over is going to spread the word. Not smart!

My husband and I had been looking to replace our 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid for about a year when we came upon Jay Lee's Honda of Sumner on-line. I have to say, Jason Klint and the manager, Peter, are the most honest and straight forward men in the industry and they know how to get things done right. I am a difficult customer to please. I don't like to waste time or have my time wasted. I knew exactly what car I wanted and how much we could afford to pay. Korum Ford in Puyallup said they could work out a deal 3x's in the past year but each time they would either try to put us in a car we didn't want or the payments were too high for our budget. We wanted a Mazda6 so we looked on-line and found one at Jay Lee's. My husband stopped in and met Jason in the morning who, along with Peter, bent over backwards to make our deal happen. Not only did I get the car I wanted, I have my payments right where they need to be! I gathered my kids and met my hubby at their beautiful dealership the same afternoon and drove home in my new car. ****************************************************************************************This is a very nice Dealership. You can tell this is a non-stress place & They make you feel like your at home. While we where waiting for the paperwork to get done, they made us a fresh batch of popcorn and even gave us some soda's too FOR FREE. Most dealship you have to pay at the vending machine.. I had been looking for a specific used mazda for a while and found it online at this dealership. i went in with my own financing and ended up adding an extended warranty and gap coverage, it took over 2 hours to handle everything(keep in mind i had my financing) the two employees i dealt with when purchasing(sales and finance) were great, after spending nearly 20k dollars on a used vehicle everything fell apart. i got in the car to go home and noticed the gas gauge was on 'E' the car was filthy still and window stickers were still on it. i asked the salesmen about it and they said their detail guys had gone home(not sure why they would do that when still selling multiple cars) they assured me i could return any time and they would "take care" of me. i came back the next day explained my situation to the guys standing out front they asked who my salesperson was and then said he was off that day. not sure how this matters but they refused to get the car cleaned and topped off(after i had to put gas in it just to get home) because they said they didnt want to get in trouble for making a call like that? i told them the window stickers hadnt even been removed and they just chuckled... seeing that with my 60+ hour work weeks i couldnt get back down there til the following week to find my salesman had quit and they still refused to help me!in addition to these problems i had a flat less than a month later, when getting the tire repaired the shop told me i had to buy 2 new tires, i asked to look at them since i know that at a dealership when taking in a used vehicle it must endure a safety inspection and tires under the LEGAL limit of 3/32nds MUST be replaced and being this car is AWD they would have to replace ALL 4, sure enough the inside edge of the rear tires had metal chords showing and 1,000 dollars later i had 4 new tires. i tried calling the dealership they just referred to the contract i signed stating no other work had been promised.i know car dealerships get a bad rap but ive never understood why until now, cutting corners and completely severing ties with customers after their check clears is their businessDO NOT buy from this company they WILL rob you of something if they get the chance
