Stay away from this slimy, deceiving dealership. We bought a 2017 Hyundai Tucson from here a couple of days ago. We had done our homework beforehand, so we knew what a reasonable price was for the model and trim we had in mind. I should say, the salesperson, Manny, was great! He was really nice, and didn't apply any of the usual pressure tactics that many salespeople do at dealerships. I'd say he was the highlight of our experience there. Our negotiations with Manny lasted only about 20 minutes or so, and we settled on an out-the-door price that we were happy with.At the last stage we went to the finance manager's office to sign the final paperwork. First, I noticed that the actual loan he wanted us to sign off on was a quantity that seemed higher than the out the door price we had negotiated on. So I asked him to give me a breakdown of the total price.This was when I noticed a $600 "aftermarkets" fee. I asked what this fee was, and he called it a processing fee that is standard at the dealership for every car they sell. I quickly pointed out that the "doc fee" is the only processing fee they are allowed to charge by the state of NY, by law, and that fee is capped at $75. He wouldn't budge, and this went on for a few minutes. When it became clear that we were ready to walk out of the deal at this point, then they finally decided to wave this "processing fee". He was clearly breaking NY state regulations/law by advertising that obscure fee as a processing fee.For this reason, Im giving this dealership a 1 star overall.

There was great service before but now it has declined...I have been with this dealership since 2008 and they did not treat me good in aspects of my trade in deal, financing and reviewing the new car.........the features on my new car was discussed but I did not receive what I expected.....very disappointing.

Having just been in an automobile accident in which my old car was totaled, the Hyundai staff were understanding of my need for a car as soon as possible. They showed me my options, and helped me to find exactly what I needed, and I was able to drive out of there with my new car on the same day. I have absolutely no bad issues at all with my experience at Hyundai 112. At stated previously, my salesman recognized me when I entered as he sold me my last Hyundai. He was extremely helpful and professional, and really went out of his way to meet all my needs with a new vehicle. I picked up the car the day after I first entered the showroom. I forget the name of the person working in the credit department, but he also was fast, efficeint and very polite, despite the large amount of paper to process, which is understandable.

When I first walked into the dealership I was greeted I then told the saleman what I was interested in. He took me out to the lot to look for a color vehicle of my choice. I was not "pushed" into anything I didn't want. I also did not have to make a decision right away.Some dealers tell you that you have to take the car that day, this did not happen here. We finally agreed on a price, that I was happy with, I came back the next day, car was ready to go with a full tank of gas. I would definitely recommend this dealer and would buy my next car here.

Daniel Ciotti met me at the entrance of Hyundai 112 and brought me to his desk asked if I wanted coffee and which model I was interested in looking at. I was with my friend who has enjoyed her Hyundai Sonata for several years and I always liked driving in her car. Daniel showed me several cars and I knew before I went in that my color choice would be white. He showed me my car and I signed the paperwork. Brought the car home on Friday the 13th in the rain, I guess that's lucky, and am happy as I never had a new car. Thank you Daniel and 112.

One of the reasons I purchased my car at H-112 was my sales person, Vinney Walia. I never felt pressured, he answered all of our questions to our satisfaction and he was very professional. He was honest while talking to us and was able to find the vehicle that my wife wanted. Locating the car we wanted took some time but the delivery time was perfect. He also took car of trading in our Equinox very well. A special thanks to Emmanuel Capellan who also assisted me when Vinney was not available. I told Vinney to put us on the calendar and to contact us in about three years to see if we were ready for another car; would definately return as a result of our experience with your sales staff.

112 HYUNDAI: In 2015 I wrote about my experience regarding used 2013 purchase. After at least 5 faxes and numerous phone calls, the sales person never called back. I was told, at the time of purchase to return in one year to see about refinance or upgrade. I went there weekend od 3/19/16. The Finance officer, Arnold, and sales associate James Boyd both said they would try to help and would call back. That Monday I called Arnold and he said he would get back with possible re-financing. To date neither has called back. Rejection is acceptable but being totally ignored is not.

I have been to other dealerships before, but Hyundai 112 is different. The salespeople are informative, but not pushy. They will happily discuss any options, questions or just let you walk around and look at the cars without that annoying hovering other dealerships do. Everyone seems to work nicely together to make sure the customers needs are fully met. From the salespeople, to the finance people, to the service department you can see that the customer is their number one priority. This is my 3rd car that I am leasing from Hyundai 112. Each time we have specifically dealt with Dan Ciotti and have always been extremely happy. Dan goes the extra mile to ensure his customers are totally satisfied with their car choice. He knew that I was disappointed that my new Sonata did not come with a cargo net (which I use all the time) and he made a point to have one installed in my 2016 car at no expense to me. Its the little things that make a customer happy and that's why I will continue to choose this car dealership and Dan Ciotti as my salesman.

I must say that Hyundai 112 represents your brand far beyond what a manufacturer can ask from their dealers. Larry Hall (the GM), Mike DeSimone (Sales Manager/Assistant GM)and their sales staff/service department are top notch. I believe the owner(s) have put a team in place that have core beliefs that are more rare than common in this industry. They get the big picture and aren't just chasing monthly/yearly goals. Ask me after my third payment. I was very happy with the sales part of the purchase. I was not happy with the way they handled the finance. They were not upfront with the rate I would get. I could not find out the rate until I came to pick up the car at which time I was told that I had to finance thru Hundai to qualify for the incentives. The rate is 5.5%. My credit rating is over 800 which should Qualify me for a much lower rate.I was told I could refinance thru the dealership after the third payment with no prepayment penalty. If that is the case I will be very happy with my purchase experience. If not I will not be a happy camper.

I recently saw a Hyundai for sale online at Hyundai 112 and called regarding it. The internet sales girl returned my inquiry and tools me to come on down we can work something out. I got worked out all right. Was told the car I wanted"wasn't here", when asked where it was then was told "it was sold". By the way the car is still for sale on the website almost a month later. So I was sold a 2015 Sonata sport which was delivered with scratches in the front end, that thirty did take care of. They could've taken some time to armor all the tires or the interior, just to get rid of the layer of dust but they didn't. The radio has a software glitch that they say they can make Hyundai do something about. Hyundai disagrees. I believe that they practice the definition if bait and switch. I have called the owner three straight days with no call back.

My problem only started after I leased my 2014 Sonata. My salesperson was Danny C. and when it came to payment options I requested to do smart pay since that worked well with my last Hyundai. I saw that payments were coming out of my bank account and didn't pay any more attention until I received a letter from Hyundai finance stating that I hadn't made any payments. I immediately called them and they told me to get in touch with smart pay. I called them promptly and it was realized that my money was going into the wrong account. I gave them the correct account number and asked them to forward all the funds to Hyundai finance. I called back Hyundai finance and explained the error and said that the funds were being transferred. NOBODY ever called me back to say that the funds never arrived. (They tell me now that it was MY JOB to follow up) From that point the nightmare began. I received daily calls telling me that if I didn't pay it was going into collections. They told me to pay them and settle my problem later because I was ruining my credit. I am a 69 year old widow who lives on a very tight budget. I called them frequently asking if it was settled and never got anywhere. I was told they'd check on it and get back to me. They didn't . On September 2nd I was told that it was finally settled and they promised that I wouldn't get anymore phone calls. On October 1st I got another delinquency letter. I called again and spoke to Brian. He told me that it was only settled on September 29th and would be posted by next week. Two days later my car was repossessed. When I called again I spoke with Amber, she told me that they repossessed the car because they sent me a check in August. They never sent me a check and I told her I wanted to see my signature and she told me it was never cashed. She actually told me to go to the post office and ask them if they have my check from August. That did it. I called Hyundai cares and they gave me a case number (6935335) and told me to call back and insist on speaking to a supervisor. I called again and spoke with Amber and told her I wanted to speak to a supervisor. She told me his name is Al but he was on the phone and he'd have to call me back in a few minutes. I waited all day, he never called. Then I called back and she gave me Bill (another supervisor)voice mail, I left a message and asked him to call as soon as possible. He never called back either. At this point, if I don't get any help in solving this problem, I'm going to retain a lawyer. I want my credit restored, I want the impound fees paid and I want my car returned to the driveway from where it was taken and I want compensation for the money I had to put out to take my granddaughters to and from school for the past week. I also missed three therapy sessions that were very important because I'm scheduled for surgery at the end of this month. Just a little info about me.....I live and take care of my daughter. She suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and needs my help on a daily basis. She often has to be taken into New York hospital for steroid treatments. Thank God that wasn't the case this past week. I left 4 messages with service and 2 with the salesman. No one returned my calls. I had to go to Mid Island Hyundai. This is the worst, more unprofessional place I have ever been to.

My 71 year old mother came home and said she had bought a car. I was concerned that she may have been taken advantage of because I wasn't there. I reviewed her paperwork and was delighted to see she was given top dollar for her trade and the price of the car was below the amount stated she should pay by edmunds.com My mother went on to say that the salesman Dan Ciotti and his Manager Lawrence Hall were total gentleman through out the whole process. My mom went on and on about how helpful they were. To top it all off I went down to the store to shake their hand and tip them for their service and they both refused to take my tip. Dan said to please just spread the word about Hyundai 112. That's my story I total recommend this place the staff is a class act.

In good faith, we went to this dealer to buy an Elantra. First thing, they told us our credit score was in the 500s. When we presented them with a printout of our score showing over 700, they said they made a mistake. They told us we needed a co-signer, we got one. They had advertised zero interest and then they told us we would have to pay 3.9% interest on a six year loan. They told us the first payment was not due for 90 days, or Aug. 18, 2013. We accepted the terms and signed a contract. We took the car home and two weeks after, we received a call from Larry Hall the general manager indicating they had made a mistake on the contract and that the first payment was due in 60 days, or on July 18, 2013 and that we should come in right away and sign a new contract. When we protested saying we have a contract, Larry said we had no choice but to come in and sign again with new terms. We called Hyundai Finance and they said no contract had been submitted or approved. They said it was between us and the dealer and if we didn't sign a new contract with the new terms, they could come and take the car from us. They were no help at all. We finally caved and went to the dealer to sign a new contract with the new due date. When we go there, Larry presented us with a new contract indicating the first payment was due on July 3, two weeks earlier than the original due date. When we asked why, he said Hyundai would only allow us 45 days and not the 60 days he had indicated earlier. These people are not to be trusted. There is something wrong with the way they do business. This is my first experience with Hyundai and it will be my last. I would never recommend them to anyone. They shoud be called "Bait and Switch Inc."

A couple months ago I went into Hyundai to get an FREE oil change. I received it for free because the previous time I dropped off the car, they carelessly left a sharp tool in the car on the driver's side and it punctured me in the foot WHILE DRIVING. A previous time I went in to get the Tire pressure monitor fixed. We called several times previously and were brushed off - so we decided to go somewhere else to get it temporarily repaired. This time I was there for the actual part and repair, which they told me was now not covered since we went to someone else. I told them if they hadn't turned us away, we would have been there, but needed our car in drivable condition. I also asked about a part for a previously owned (traded in) vehicle that I had a receipt for and had already paid for. I asked if there was any possibility that I could get a refund or credit since they had the part in their possession and it was not going to be used by me. The part was $3 and change (almost $4). The man I talked to in parts took a look at my receipt and listened to what I said and replied "it's only $4, so not really a big deal." So, I was assuming that that meant I would get my money back, and stood there...but then it was obvious he meant that statement in Hyundai's favor and not in mine. I told him that that wasn't very good customer service, it's fine if I'm not getting my $4 back, but if you act like I'm not a valued customer, that is totally disrespectful. He then felt the need to put on a show - he reached in his pocket and pulled out his OWN WALLET and threw $4 at me from across the desk. I was completely appalled, and everyone waiting in the service area saw the whole scene. I told him keep the money, this was disgusting, I'm not touching it and I would definitely file a complaint. I was so embarrassed, angry, and disgusted - I was shaking from the whole incident. My husband (who I relayed the info to) called Hyundai immediately after and complained to the manager, NICK. Nick was very apologetic and said he would #1 - talk to the employee #2 - make a note on our account for a free oil change next time and #3 - we would get a refund for the repair that we shouldn't have been charged for (we DID receive the refund eventually). Fast forward to yesterday when I dropped off my car for another oil change. I asked the woman at the desk if there was a note on the account for the free oil change per Nick. THERE WASN"T. This wasn't a big surprise to me, since we have been treating us terribly there for a while now. When we came to pick up the car today, my husband went in and talked to one of the other managers. He asked the manager "Not sure if you remember me..?" and was cut off with his rude reply "I remember exactly who you are. You were the guy who forged a note and said it was from Nick" Meanwhile, it was just our own notes from being on the phone with Nick jotting down what he promised. Then he said "You scammed us out of that money and you won't be getting anything else out of us. ***** My husband walked out fuming. I have 60K miles on my car, so about 40K miles left before their 100K warranty is up with the vehicle...but now every time I go in there I dread it and have the feeling of "what next??" with how disrespectfully we are treated. There have been so many problems and I feel now that they are out to get me. Another very strange practice they have over there is whenever we had service done, they told me that I would get a survey and to "Make sure to answer 5 stars on all responses, otherwise call us". This is so strange and controlling...you can't ask someone to do a survey and then control their answers. I was only asked to do surveys when it was obvious that I had a good experience, and haven't been asked the past few times that were outlined in this complaint. I feel like this Hyundai location is totally mismanaged and don't have the customers interests in mind, they are there to get you in and out and take your money. That's IT. I have to say this just to end on a positive note - There is one person who has NEVER given us any issues, this is Vincent, who sold us the car - he is always pleasant, respectful and helpful.

Two weeks ago we went into Hyundai 112to look at cars to buy. We were greeted by a very energetic salesman. We decided to purchase a new 2013 Elantra based on their offer of 72 month financing at 3.9 and no payments for 90 days. We had to wait a day for the paperwork to be processed, after waiting for over an hour for a decision. We had an appointment and couldn't wait any longer. We went back about 2 hours later to finaloze the deal, only to be told we had to come back again the next day because it was Sunday and too late. Never mind the fact that we had been there for hours already. So we go and sign and take delivery and everything is peachy keen....until yesterday (Sunday, June 2, 2013). We received a phone message from our salesman Brian which said that he made a mistake with the financing offer, Hyundai Financing kicked it out because he can't give us the 90 day deferred payment with the 72 month term, so as soon as we can we need to come down and fill out a new application for 60 months. We had told him while negotiating the deal that we had to keep our payment at a certain dollar amount and 60 months wouldn't work for us. This was before we signed or agreed to anything. So, we called back to say, no, this is clearly bait and switch and it's not our problem. The dealer would have to handle it. We got a call from the sales manager, Larry. He told us that we HAD to come in to re-sign on a new contract. Our only other option, he said, was to have them buy the car back from us, not giving any price information or what would happen to the $2500 down payment we gave. My husband spoke at length with Larry and he offered to give us 60 days deferred payments, and cut us a check for the 3rd month's payment, which we would have to give right back for payment. He also commented that we are "really making out on this deal". Really?? Larry has a very warped view of getting a deal. So, the facts, they had our credit application for over 24 hours, and we've had the car over 2 weeks, and they just figure this out now? Sounds like bull to me. I consulted an attorney who said that we don't have to do anything but meet the original terms of our SIGNED LEGAL contract. It is despicable to be treated as if we are too stupid to know our rights. This is being reported to the BBB and NY State Consumer Affairs, and anyone else I have to. I am also contacting Hyundai Financing to get their position on this issue. Real lousy snakes in the grass they are. Stay away from these con-men.

My experience with the dealership started out very positive with my conversations with the Internet manager Todd. We discussed pricing on a vehicle and he even offered to pick me up at the ferry as I would be arriving 1 hour away from the dealership. Todd turned me over to Chuck which assisted me to the point of agreeing on a price and giving him a deposit to hold the vehicle going into the weekend. I spoke with him on monday and stated that I have financing in place and will contact him back to let him know when I would be coming over. I planned to go over on Tuesday to finalize the deal and pick up the vehicle. I played phone tag all morning and when I finally spoke to him around noon he stated that they had sold the vehicle on saturday and that he did not run my credit card as he said he was going to as to hold the vehicle. I was very pleased with the whole process until this happened. I get that they are there to sell cars but when they ask for a deposit to hold a vehicle and then sell it anyway that says a lot about the people you are dealing with.

I was interested in some of the hyandui cars , wasn't sure which model ..when i first walked in to look at the models they had on the showroom. I saw the Volester...i was flawed by the unique body style..i spoke to the sales manager , and pretty much gave me exactly what i was looking for and i felt was a very honest price..how i knew this is because i went back another time and researched prices & what my trade in would be for my last car...so they were point on with the trade on price & the price of the car...Also the easiest to do business with..i highley reccomend the 112 dealership ! Also whwen i went to pick up my car the service was impeccable , as the salesman Mike explained everything in complete understanding for me & hooked up my Blue tooth as well...

Kim Hickey made appointment with me when I got to dealership she was not there and the car I came to look at was sold .She had my phone numbers and never called or texted me that the used Ford Escape was sold. I came ready to purchase car with electronic check in hand .POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE I went to Mid Island Hyundai and purchased a comperable used Ford Escape from them that day.I hope her boss notices my review and loss of sale becouse of her actions.Its just the right thing to do if you cant make an appointment and you do not have what the customer wants.

I went to Hyundai 112 in Medford to check out a preowned Ford Fiesta SE and Corolla LE. I met Dan Marteen and he immediately was friendly and informative about the two cars I was interested in. After a few minutes spent talking about my trade and pricing we were off for brief test drives of both cars. I liked the Corolla but fell in love with the Fiesta!
