My family and I were shopping for a new car and Katrina was so very helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and really went above and beyond to help us decide on the perfect car for our family. She was understanding and accommodating when I needed to pile car seats, strollers and even grandparents into the car to make sure we had enough room. Ms. Q, Travis, and Eric were absolutely AMAZING! I will buy ALL of my cars from them from here on out!!! My family and I value customer service and our expectations were EXCEEDED here! Ms. Q made the selection process easy for us, although my sister and I was trying to decide what our best options were to fit our monthly budget, she made us feel comfortable taking our time. Not once did we feel rushed into a sale, or uncomfortable for switching between cars when we couldn’t make our mind up. Her personality was welcoming and friendly that it actually felt like buying a car from family rather than a sales woman. Mr. Travis and Mr. Eric is the perfect blend of business and pleasure, they kept us laughing from beginning to the end. We felt like family rather than a transaction and that is what will ALWAYS set these three apart from the rest. The ability to make customers feel like family takes skill that training can’t teach, it is a natural ability to connect with customers the way that they did us. I have worked in customer service/management over 10 plus years and have a low tolerance for bad customer service. Purchasing the vehicle was smooth and painless. However, service after the sale is and has been abysmal. I’m registering the vehicle out of state (active military) and it’s been zero communication (since the vehicle was bought) unless I continually call asking for an update. For incoming military buyers, be mindful of such.

I had recently purchased a 2019 Genesis G90 and in one week I had to have roadside assistance come to my home because the car would not start. I called you all and spoke with Dean in the service department. From the moment he answered the phone, I knew he cared. I told him of my frustration and he said, “bring your car to me and I’ll get you taken care of.” When I got there, he was very personable and empathized with my feelings. He had my car in and out in under two hours. I want to say a big THANK YOU to him for not delaying the issue which would have meant no car the whole weekend. Most of all he did not pass me on to the original dealership as if it was their problem. He knew the bind I was in and jumped right in. He said he didn’t want me to drive it and get stranded and have to call for assistance again. Such a kind a caring soul. The world needs more Deans!!!!!!

This was me and my fiancé’s first time purchasing a new vehicle and he made it enjoyable, easy, and we never felt like there was anything we could not ask. He was patient and took his time with us. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. He got us the car of my dreams and I regret nothing. I’ve had the car for a little over a month now and I don’t think I will ever get anything other than a Hyundai ever again. Even after our purchase, Rudy has made sure we are taken care of and that we are satisfied. I wanted some stickers and a pinstripe removed off of the vehicle and Rudy took care of it. No questions asked.

I visited the dealer ship last Friday and haven't heard anything back from John the sales person who took my info and it has been a week. This is very disappointing because they harassed me through email for almost two weeks assuring that they could help me trying to get me in and then when I come in and John takes my information and sees that they cant get a sale because of me being upside down then Im kicked to the curb. I could have least got a call from the sales person that said something along the lines of Im sorry mam, we tried our best but you are to far upside down etc. Thank you for visiting us or whatever. I got nothing from them, no call or email. I guess Im still supposed to be waiting right?This was very horrible customer service and I will never return or recommend anyone. They will treat you any kind of way if your case is a difficult.

Phillip was courteous, knowledgeable, and very professional; the kind of young man I would have hired in a second back in my college recruiting days for P&G. In fact, I can honestly compliment all of the personnel at the dealership I have dealt with over the years while having the Sonata serviced, and attending to the occasional recall. Your service department is excellent, with a special appreciation of the service manager for the way he can work out difficult issues in a fair and balanced way. In closing, we have owned or leased at least five Lexus automobiles over the years, and while they claim to have the best service experience in the retail car business, they have nothing on Hyundai of Metairie, the experience, the people, and the amenity of the surroundings."

Lady Don't let them tell u you need a new tire until you let someone else look at it they told me that 7 months ago n I still don't need 1. For me personally I would never give them on business at all never. Sales good SERVICE GARBAGE I still today trying to get them to fix my car it's been a year now and they saying they can't find the problem but Hyundai if Slidell did same think I been saying.

My wife and I recently purchased a used Santa Fe Sport from Hyundai of Metairie. I can't say enough good things about this dealership, our salesperson( Adam) or our overall buying experience. From the moment we walked in and were met by Adam we felt absolutely no sales pressure, which was a welcomed change from the other dealerships we had gone to. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about all the vehicles and was able to assist us in finding the perfect car that was both, what we wanted and in our budget. Surprisingly, the dealership was actually able to get us a much lower APR than both our bank or credit union by nearly points. This allowed us to buy a newer model with more upgrades than we thought possible. I purposely waited to write this review because I wanted to be absolutely sure that we would feel the same way weeks after our initial sale was completed and without a shadow of a doubt, we do. A week and a half after the sale I brought the car back in to have a couple of scratches and a minor imperfection on the front bumper fixed. The service department did an excellent job of making our vehicle look brand-new. Our purchase from Hyundai of Metairie was one of sheer pleasure and total satisfaction.

The service here has been deplorable. I took my car in Tuesday morning for a 7:55 a.m. appointment. They never called me to give me any type of update on my car. Later that evening I called to see if there was some type of status update considering they didn't bother to call me. As usual I had to call several times to get someone on the phone because the service department always goes to voicemail. I called back on Wednesday morning to get an update and was told that they hadn't looked at my vehicle yet, despite my 7:55 a.m. Tuesday appointment. Eventually they did call me back to confirm that it was indeed a dead battery (my car is only two years old. purchased the Sonata brand new). They then told me it would cost $300 minus a prorated 25% warranty. Literally the warranty dropped from 100 to 25 in a matter of two months (that's not the real definition of prorated, but I digress). I ask for some time to do research so that I can make the appropriate financial decision. I spend the day looking elsewhere. Yes, I can get a battery cheaper with a better warranty from AutoZone, but ultimately decided to remain with Hyundai given the complexity of towing a dead car to another location, putting in a new battery and taking it back to Hyundai for recall updates.Long story short I call again early on Thursday morning. You guessed it - I received voicemail again. I left a message asking that someone call me back to inform me about the warranty on the replacement battery that I was about to authorize. It is now the end of Thursday and no one has called me back. This is of course a trend. When I wanted to purchase the Sonata two years ago this location's staff hounded me (I still have the emails). But when I need service I get nothing.I most certainly will not take my car back to this location for service. That's if I actually ever get it back from this visit. It's still sitting on their property dead, because I can't actually get through on the phone to authorize them to move forward with the repairs. Why not staff the service department with someone to answer the phones, like you do the sales team? I guess service after the sale is not necessary.

Overall my experience with Hyundai of Metairie was fairly good..John G. My salesman was very friendly and down to earth..No complaints in working with him..My only two complaints are that: 1)The manager (Mr. Rouse) was very pushy about having me finance through Hyundai when I was very clear about only financing through my bank..They eventaully gave me the price I wanted, but only after ultimately financing through them and later refinancing through my own bank in order to recieve the rebates..2) Once said and done they sent my paperwork to the wrong county..I was unable to purchase my tag within the 9 day time period (which was completely out of my control) and had to pay approximately $30 in fees due to their error..However, I did not call Hyundai of Metairie to let them know what happened (i figured just swallow the fees and be done with the headache of it) so I guess that portion of it was my own fault..

I was in a time crunch looking for a new car to purchase and went into Hyundai on a whim. I'm glad we did, even though the first day Adam was really busy, he made time to take us on a test drive and answer every question I had. I returned to purchase the car that I had test driven the following Monday and the entire Hyundai team made the entire process of buying my first car effortless and easy. This dealership is second to none. From the sales personnel to the service advisors and the service technicians. They are very honest and are not looking to overcharge the customers. We had a Hyundai Vera Cruz that was requiring repairs and we had the vehicle repaired and traded it on a Tucson. The experience was so positive we ended up purchasing a Hyundai Accent a few months later. I could not be more satisfied with this dealership.

Although there were many models and colors of Santa Fe on the lot we were unable to find the color we preferred. Our salesman checked and there weren't any available within 500 miles and there were none expected in from the factory. Evidently red is a popular color.

I posted a pretty bad review of Hyundai of Metairie and it lingered here for the past couple of days. I had no intention of changing it even after my car was fixed. I was that angry - and I was resolute in my decision to stay away from Hyundai of Metairie, but then I received a phone call to tonight from Mike Dugas asking me how my car was running. I must say Mike Dugas went out of their way to make things right. Mike not only fixed my car, but it was free of charge. One person in the service department dropped the ball and it had a domino effect. Just proves that businesses must have everyone on the same page to make things work successfully. We spend so much money on our cars. They are a huge investment! Thank you, Mike and Hyundai of Metairie for fixing this. Ill be back for my oil change soon.

Horrible service department. They do not communicate with the customers and keep your car FOREVER. I had to keep calling and calling for information about my car and was lied to about the car being worked on. Im going on day 4 without a car and from what I could gather, the only thing wrong is the battery. Never again will I go to this dealership-- not even to put air in my tires. Like any car dealership they tried to get me to buy the car at full price but were willing to work with me when they realized I had a budget and had done my research. We reached an agreement on a price I was extremely happy with and we did it quickly. The cherry on top was that the car was then delivered clean and in perfect condition. After deciding not to show up to a previously agreed to appointment on a Friday evening at 5:30, I received a call from the dealership on Saturday morning. I was laying on the couch watching ESPN's on-demand run of Muhammad Ali's fights and was not in the mood for spending the rest of my day at a dealership. After all, I had made a decision to delay the purchase for this very reason. I was asked if I would consider coming in Saturday afternoon. I said yes and arrived at the dealership at 2:20pm. Still dreading this decision, I was greeted very friendly in the showroom by one of the sales managers. He introduced me to a salesman (Keith Buhler). It took less than 2hours to decide on the purchase and sign the deal. WOW! I picked up the car the following Thursday, washed and with a full tank of gas. GREAT SERVICE! We needed a new vehicle to replace my wife's ten year old Honda CRV (which had given us good service). My wife was pretty sure she wanted another Honda, with an upgrade in size. We looked at and drove the new Honda Pilot which seemed a little too large for our needs. We also drove the new CRV and similar size Fords, Chevys and Jeeps. A test drive in the Santa Fe sold us almost at once. It was quieter, more comfortable, and had a smoother ride than any of the others. Plus it was the perfect size - more roomy than the CRV but not like driving a large truck like the Pilot. Plus, you can't beat the warranty. We're totally happy with our purchase. If you're anywhere in the New Orleans area go to Huyndai of Metarie and talk to Adam Meche. You won't be sorry.

I wanted to down size from a Suburban to a smaller crossover. After test driving 5 different vehicles it was a last minute decision to test drive a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. I wasn't sold on the brand and had some reservations. However, it was the quietest 4 cylinder vehicle I had driven and I was very impressed with the standard features available as well as the spacious interior room. The second seating is ample enough for my 6' 1" son, as well as it now contains a car seat for my grandson and still plenty of room available. The cargo area is extremely generous too. The icing on the cake was the pricing, 2017's were available, great financing, and out of this world warranty. The sales staff couldn't have been more helpful and knowledgeable. Hyundai of Metairie truly treats you like family.

I expressed what I had already researched and wanted. I received exactly what I wanted and in a very timely manner. In less than 2 hours I had picked out my new Sonata Sport, taken a test drive, signed all papers, purchased a basic extended wrap warranty for a total protection of 10 years or 100k miles and left with the car ready. I came back to the dealership at meast 4 times. The wait time was crazy. They also ran my credit over and over and came up with different APR that was higher every time. If I wanted the vehicle This was what I was left with. That was a mess. I was originally told iCloud get financed at 4.19% and somehow after an entire day was left with 5.99. Don't know how that happened.

Hyundai of metairie is fraudulent! They very clearly knew there was something going on with the car I purchased and didn't tell me. Now I'm on the hook for a car I don't want and don't even have. I returned the car to the dealership because I was uncomfortable in it. I see now the action being taken on it is to just wait and strong arm me into a fraudulent purchase! Don't purchase from here, you'll be disappointed. If the deal you're getting seems too good to be true it probably is!

I just recently bought a new Hyundai Tuscon. Overall I was very pleased with the service and my sales representative. Word to the wise: do your research, know what you want, and stick to it. The finance department will eventually give you a fair price; however, be willing to walk if you don't feel they will. It took over 3 hours of negotiating to finally get to the price I wanted. Also, know your interest rate. They initially told me 2.99 and when I told them I was going to check with my bank they came back within 5 minutes with 1.99 and blamed the difference on the new year (I bought my car on the 6th). The following day when I actually went to purchase my car they had upped it to 2.19 and again blamed the fluctuation on the new year. Other than that, it was a good experience; they worked with me and found the exact car I wanted and for the price I was willing to pay.

I had a great experience with this dealership. The staff went above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcome. I was not pressured in any way to buy anything that I did not want. Originally I went in to look at four different cars. Out of all 10 different dealerships that I shopped at prior not at a single one did a salesperson ask me my driving habits. Not till the last one which was this dealership. One of the more surprising but enjoyable part of my experience was: I was actually talked down a model not up due to what I wanted in a vehicle and my driving habits. My salesman wanted me to be happy with my purchase and not to spend more then was necessary for my needs which to me is a mark of a good true salesman. Not often can anyone say that you feel like a salesperson is being honest with you. They even worked with me on the price some since I could not go over a certain amount for my note every month. They worked with me until we could come to an agreement and the icing on the cake for me at least was the fact that I would not make the deal unless I had a spare tire not the tire repair kit (huge difference). They had to order the spare tire kit but it was already installed as of yesterday. It was an exact week from the date of purchase. It could have been installed sooner had it not been for my schedule. I can say that they worked with my schedule and had me in and out of their service center extremely quickly. My appointment was for 1:20 p.m. and I left in my vehicle at 210 pm. I had a prior appointment at 330 so they made sure I was able to make it. I don't think I can say enough good things about this place but I definitely would recommend it to family and friends. Ironically due to my experience my own father might be buying a Hyundai shortly. I would however strongly recommend an appointment it does seem to streamline the process quite a bit. I also shopped for over 6 months prior to this purchase. A side note for females: due to previous experiences at other dealerships and prior purchases I have usually been made to feel dumb or treated as dumb due to my sex. Not only was I not treated like that but was told how well informed I was and that I must of done alot of homework. Even the service personnel make you feel like family at this place. Again I highly would recommend this dealer ship.

Avoid bringing your car in for service here. Kristin is my service advisor and she NEVER returns calls, disregarding the promises she made to do so. I had my car "fixed" a month ago and had to wait 5 days for a part. Now 2 weeks later, I am still having the same issue and the excuse for that was "Oh it's a bad part". So now I have been without my car for over a day due to their error. I called for updates and no one could help me. Mike in the service department was EXTREMELY rude when I spoke with him. Kristin told me she would call me in the morning with updates, it is now just past 1PM and still haven't heard a word about my car. When I did finally hear from her, a little after 1:30, she still did not have an update. IT DOES NOT TAKE 6+ HOURS TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. I have been a customer since 2010, but NEVER again will I go back.

However, When I picked up my vehicle the mileage on my car had increased by 93 miles. I purchased the vehicle with 15 miles on the odometer and it read 108 when I drove off. I was given idiotic excuses how the miles were put on this vehicle. I have not been compensated in any way.

Brought my recently purchased new tire back to dealership yesterday. It is losing air on a regular basis making it necessary to put air in it every month - much air not just normal "topping off" amount. They kept the car for 5.5 hours only to tell me there is nothing wrong with it. I go out to my car this afternoon and the tire is nearly flat. So here I sit again at the dealership because they have not taken care of a problem that I reported to them yestersay.

Definitely recommend buying a vehicle from Hyundai of Metairie. i was so nervous from the moment stepping into the dealership because car salesmen for some reason annoy me. (Just being honest) BUT with that said, I had the absolute best experience at Hyundai of Metairie, the staff was professional and friendly and the salesman Charles Kreher was phenominal. He was there for us, felt like he was part of the family, he was patient, didnt pressure us and made us feel welcomed. He got me into the car I was looking for at the right price. Getting a response, even a phone call to let you know that your car has been serviced and is now ready for pick up - does not happen. Getting information from service rep once you've dropped off your car - impossible. The fact that the service department does not return calls of even notifies when completed is absolutely a sign that they do not care. When I had a car being repaired by a body shop recently, not only did I get a phone call update on status - I got a daily text update from the shop! That's customer service! I did not buy my car from this dealership - bought it in a city I previously did business in. Was even questioned when I brought it in if I had purchased it new, and if I had purchased it from a Hyundai dealership (both of which I had done). Was given an grossly inaccurate quote from the sales rep on costs of repairs. Am still waiting for a radio fix that should have already been taken care of. It is as if quality of repair and service is not an concern at this service department.

DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE. I left my car here for a day because there was a recall on a part. Since it was there, I asked them to do an oil change as well. I called the following day and was told by Michael that I had alot of problems with my car but it should be ready by 11am. He asked if I wanted new windshield wipers as well. I consented since it was only $20. I arrive at 4:30PM and I see that my car is sitting in the lot. I ask for my receipt and a detailed list of the issues (since I was considering selling it anyway). Michael sends me off to the cashier who has no information on my vehicle. She also has no understanding of cars in order to tell me the issues. So Michael asks me to sit for awhile. After an hour, I go back to his desk, trying to understand why I'm still at the dealership...He reluctantly tells me that they lost my keys and won't be able to provide me with a new key until tomorrow. I am livid. I explained that I work two jobs and cannot go without a vehicle for another day. Thirty minutes later he provides me with a new key and remote (that isn't programmed, by the way). As the store is closing, I finally get a receipt that says I have received a complimentary oil change. There is no record of my consent to change the windshield wipers and the recall was NEVER DONE. So in essence, I was without a car for a full day simply because of an oil change. It's been three weeks since this visit and even after calling Craig Anderson (the service manager) about five times, I still haven't received a phone call or any resolution to my issue.

I had a great experience over the past 2-3 weeks at Hyundai of Metairie(Internet manager and Finance guy) and with the salesman Adam. I said 2-3 weeks because im a very busy person. I decided on a vehicle and couldnt get back to them to finalize due to work. During that time Adam did his best to keep in touch with me about purchasing the vehicle. Twice, I went as much as 3-4 days without speaking to him. From experience, I know a few dealers stopped contacting me(1 even sold a vehicle I had paperwork drawn up for) when I went more than 36hours without speaking to them!!! Adam kept me informed on interest he was recieving on the vehicle, test drives, and a possible purchaser. If I would have read some of the reviews first, I would have assusmed someone from the dealership wrote these reviews about Adam. But that is not the case, I experienced the great service for myself. I cant speak for the whole staff but I was impressed with the Internet manager(who remembered my name after meeting once) and The finance guys didn't hesitate to SHOW me numbers and estimates with whatever scenario I drew up. Overall this was Great.

Purchased a vehicle on 7/21/14. After leaving the dealerhship, and aftermy very first stop, my car would not start. Someone came out to the car to jump it. Obviously battery problems. No big deal. I then bring the car back to the dealership for them to replace the battery and fix what appeared to be a hanging panel on the front underside of the car. Shortly after the purchase, the car started experiencing some problems. I contacted Hyundai of Metairie with my concerns and was referred to Paretti Mazda (which has been a phenomenal experience). After my car was inspected, the following issues were noticed: 1) Leaking struts 2) cracked belt 3) Worn tires due to the leaking struts and 4) the engine cover is not repairable due to bumper damage. Manufacturer's warranty doesn't cover any of the issues. The extended warranty only covered the struts. So of course I contact Hyundai in regards to the remaining issues. It has now been 5 days, with ten phone calls and two trips to the delaerhsip and still no one can give me an answer. I was told my management and the sales person that Servies Dept at Mazda is trying to upsell me. They are saying this without even looking out the window at my car or checking the service records of the vehicle. Mazda can't make up a cracked belt and leaking struts for sure. I can see how the bumper damage can be argued but not the other matters, expecially worn tires. I haven't driven the car 1,200 miles.. My last visit to the dealership ended with Mannie promising to contact me by noon today with an answer. Of course NOTHING! This is the 3rd employee to promise an answer. Bottom line ... expect to get screwed!!!!!! Will never ever ever do business with Hyundai of Metairie and I have already spread the news of my horrible experience.

Just finished reading the wonderful excuses from *Hyundi of Metairie*. given in an effort to cover their attempt to bait there customers with one price & then bump it up to a higher price (Bait & Switch" when I came to the dealer to make a purchase. Just two questions for Metairie: 1) When I called to let them know that I was on my way that morning ......on a sixty mile drive over the causeway; Why didn't the manager inform me that the price had changed? 2) When I walked into the "Metairie Door" and I was met with 6 to 8 Metairie Employies ...smiling & shaking my hand, while I was quickly guided to the car in question for a 20 minute drive.....why waste my time in a low class effort to lighten the blow of a "bait & switch" technique....hmmmmmmmmmmm :) There are many "quality dealers" in Louisiana, Georgia & Texas so "Buyer Beware!" Thank You.

My husband and I have been doing our homework and searching for a Hyundai on the internet. We called a dealership in Dallas and Hammond and were quoted a great price on a vehicle, and we decided to call Metairie. We called Hyundai of Metairie on 7/11/2014 to get a quote on the exact same car, different color. The person at Hyundai of Metairie, extremely pleasant woman, said I will check on the car and get back with you. She returned the call stating she could give us the car for the same great price quoted by the other two dealerships and took my credit card info and we filled out a form online to get preapproved for financing, and I made an appointment for my husband to go in at 10:00 a.m. on 7/12/2014. Well, my husband gets to the dealership, drove the car, really liked the car, color etc, and the bomb was lowered! We cannot sell you this car for the price quoted! They wanted 1500.00 MORE!!! Really, you are quoted a price, make an appointment, drive across the lake, test drive and then guess what BUDDY, we are not going to give it to you for that price. We were lied to. Extremely upset and disappointed in Hyundai of Metairie!!!!

Short story: I was essentially asked to leave bc I politely asked for the invoice. I'm not exaggerating. The "manager" said "OK then" stood up, shook my hand and said "goodbye" and quickly walked away. The salesman was embarrassed and shocked. Longer story: The one star is for my overall experience. My initial experience w/ the salesman Clifford was fine. Clifford was a nice guy, friendly and helpful. We test drove a nicely loaded Santa Fe. I have been to several dealerships in the last few days and this car was by far my favorite. I loved all of the interior technology. I was a serious buyer. This is where my good experience ended. Clifford took us inside, and gave me an initial offer on the Santa Fe Limited. The offer was extremely high. Most initial offers are high so I still had some hope left. Frankly, it is just ridiculous to request $2k + down on a lease & offer me a payment of over $500... on a Hyundai? Come on... the appeal of these cars is that they are affordable. Not to mention that the advertised lease specials were not applied to my car. When the "manager" came out he tried to "double count" the theoretical money down and tell me that was actually the lease special incentive of $1.5k off. I didn't comment on this bc I figured the 2nd offer would be more serious. I should mention that when I buy a car I have a few reasonable rules on which I will not budge. 1. I will not, under any circumstances, buy a car the same day. Early on Clifford asked me if it was possible that I would buy a car today, I politely told him no. Its not personal, I NEVER make expensive decisions without sleeping on them. This is perfectly reasonable... apparently not to the manager. The manager proceeded to attempt this long, manipulative, slimy speech about how it's unreasonable for me to expect them to spend any time with me when I wouldn't sign a lease the same day. He accused me of not acting in good faith. Excuse me? I was perfectly honest with you, don't you have ANY idea what "good faith" actually means? Essentially, he told me that if I didn't buy a car today, then I am not worth his time. Funny, I didn't see more then one other customer looking around. Not long after this the "manager" dove into another annoying sales tactic, trying to tell me, "you should take a birds eye view and consider the car irrespective of price". Seriously! I'm still not exaggerating! 2nd, I ALWAYS calculate out the numbers for myself. I let the dealer make the initial calculations, and then I request all the variables I need to calculate the lease/finance payment. For a lease, I need MSRP, invoice, negotiated price/cap price, money factor, and residual value/LEV%. These numbers can EASILY be found on the internet, but I consider their disclosure a sign of good faith, heh. Full disclosure of these numbers is standard practice, for ex. any car bought under the Costco program requires that the invoice be disclosed. Most dealerships will provide these #'s, they aren't advertised, but when asked they will provide them. Hyundai of Metairie refused to provide some of these numbers. 1st, the Santa Fe limited has a very high money factor (MF), more then 20x that of the comparable Mazda Cx5. I'm not exaggerating either. Unless the "manager" was lying. I accept that the money factor is a number set by corporate Hyundai. To my knowledge it is not negotiable, but it is extremely greedy of Hyundai to have such a high money factor because the Santa Fe has a high residual value, 61% of the MSRP. This means that Hyundai is able to sell the car high at lease end, the car depreciates less, but they charge more to the consumer. (BTW the money factor can be thought of as the lease's interest rate) At this point I was tired. I told the "manager" that I only buy a car when I have all the financial variables & am able to 1st go home and google the avg price. This is when he kicked us out & abruptly stopped our business. that wasn't even half the rude comments

Every so often he sends a courtesy email to check on my satisfaction with my purchase. I really love my SUV, best purchase I ever made! Well, I figured I should write a review since I just purchased my 7th car from this location! I also referred 2 other friends/family that made purchases as well in the past. I currently own a 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited and purchased a 2013 Hyundai Elantra on Tuesday. I obviously love this dealership and everyone who works here. I feel like it's my second home. Chris Flynn has been with me from the start, financing my first 2000 Saturn. For this purchase, Jimmy "Guido" was so helpful with the entire process and kept us laughing the whole time. If it wasn't for Michael doing our financing, we would not have gotten such an awesome deal through Hyundai Motor Finance! Owner loyalty works wonders!! I test-drove a 2006 Toyota Avalon Hyundai of Metairie had for sale. Good car. The salesman agreed to bring the car on Tuesday to my regular mechanic, a few miles away; no problem. Then things went sour. The salesman promised to fax me their offer within the next hour; it didn't show up until the next morning, Wednesday. I sent my counter offer right away. No response -- nothing until Thursday morning. He made a counter-counter-offer and promised to fax it to me within 15 minutes. Nope -- no fax, no call until late on Friday afternoon. Then he seemed astonished that I was sick of the delaying tactics and no longer interested in the car! If he'd faxed me that counter-counter-offer on Wednesday, I was prepared to write the dealership a check as down payment on the Avalon. Strangest way to do business for a car I've ever run across. Be cautious with these people!

Our internet research led us to consider a Hyundai to replace my C-class Mercedes. We went to the dealership, where I found the Genesis too large and the Sonata's interior space and finish not to my liking. We were leaving, when Marie Hickman suggested we check out the Azera--there were none available at the dealership, but she demonstrated on her personal car and we found a perfect "fit". Within a day, Mrs. Hickman located a car with our specified requirements in Baton Rouge, got it to New Orleans, fully prepped, and delivered it to us the next day. She also spent a generous amount of her personal time explaining the Azera's sophisticated featured to me and to my husband. In our driving career, Bob and I have owned 4 Mercedes, 2 BMWs, 4 Volvos, and 5 Cadillacs, and this experience is at least equal to the best prior experience we have enjoyed. Surprised how terrible the customer service is....only 2 salesmen there when I went by and neither could answer a question I had about the genesis...and I lease a 2010 Genesis. This car has been a mistake the get go and the service department always tried to sell me on items I don't need. I do not need to buy $250 performance tires for a Hyundai. Also, why do I get the impression the sales department and service department do not work well together? They sent me back and forth to each other several times for a question I had... Don Matthews was amazing. I came to the dealership wanting a specific color & interior as well as an idea of how much I was willing to spend. I thought the only car I could afford was the Elantra, but Don was able to sell me the Sonata within my budget! There was no hassle with pricing, he gave me his lowest price up front. Although they didn't have my color car on the lot when I showed up, Don was able to get it in the very next afternoon. I ended up driving away with exactly what I wanted for the price I wanted to pay.

Also, Chris took the time to show me how to work ALL the different aspects of the car after I purchased it . I have bought 6 cars previously and this is the first time anyone taken the time to show me all the different parts of operating the car. All the other times my husband and I had to cull through the owner's manual to figure it all out. I am a recent widow and this is the first car I have ever bought on my own without any input from my late husband. I spoke to Terry, Service Manager, about suspected fraudelent brake repairs. He requested that I bring my car in for them to recheck brakes to see if I needed new brakes or not. After removing back tires I was shown that the inside pads were well worn and the outside pads were still OK (apparently other dealer did not remove tire during inspection). We both agreed that I need a brake job in the near future and I will have it done by Hyuandai of Metairie. I was always pleased with this dealer before this incident and will continue using them. Thanks Terry for renewing my faith in your company.

I brought my car in for an oil change and a free multipoint inspection was done. I was told I needed a rear brake job. I was going out of town for 2 weeks and decided to wait until I returned. I checked prices to 2 other Hyundai dealers and went with cheapest dealer ($75 cheaper). Upon bringing to other dealer I was told my brakes were in good condition. Being a single woman I now know I was being taken advantage of.

In searching for the Hyundai Veloster I wanted, I started with Hyundai of Metairie, the closest Hyundai dealer to where I live. My online salesperson, Charlotte "Charlie" contacted me. She was very direct and straightforward, which I appreciated. The exact version I wanted was not available & she "preferenced" one for me. We still waited for 3 months as what I wanted still never arrived. Throughout, she was on top of things and was very helpful. Finally, a model like I wanted arrived to a different dealer. She graciously told me to go get it, even though she hated losing the sale. Since I bought it at the Baton Rouge dealer, she has still assisted me with a couple of things and she introduced me to her Service manager as I plan to have my car serviced at their dealership. I was dealer shopping for a new or used car with some specifics in mind. Three other dealerships left me uncomfortable and/ or unsatisfied. From the moment I walked in Hyundai of Metairie the service attitude and knowledgeability were excellent! Robert was exceptionally courteous and helpful and Victor was straightforward, efficient and understanding of my particular needs. They found the best possible solution for me and I'm driving out in my new, loaded Elantra! I cannot imagine going anywhere else to buy any car in my future! I'm a fan.

If you are like me you probably hate the entire process of buying a car as well as the whole experience at the car dealership. For this reason I avoided going into the dealership to inquire about the Hyundai Genesis that I had my eye on for several months. Yesterday I bit the bullet and entered Metairie Hyundai. I was treated with the utmost respect from the entire team. My sales person, Charlie Smith was amazing. She was not aggressive and she "listened" to what I wanted. I felt like I had my own team working for me. The General Sales Manager, Chris Flynn bent over backwards to help me and was beyond friendly. The easiest part of the process was unbelievably in the Finance Department. Finance Manager, Mike Monteleone made it all happen and worked out the best and most affordable deal possible. Even the appraiser, Vince D'Amico was fair with my trade in. The team at Metairie Hyundai surpassed all of my expectations and I am a customer for life. I urge anyone in the market for a vehicle to visit Metairie Hyundai, you won't be sorry. I look forward to doing business with this group for the next 5 years and my next vehicle will definitely be a Hyundai.

I would like to say that this was one of the best buying sessions every really better then nissan I own a 2009 altima I tell to is ok but Hyundai has them bet buy a mile.
