Recently traded in my Sonata Turbo in and moved up to a Santa Fe SUV. This is my 3rd personal Hyundai purchase and the 5th for my family. I moved up to the SUV because I thought it would be easier to get in and out of the vechicle. I have Multiple Sclerosis and getting out of the sedans was getting harder to do. I love, love, LOVE my new Santa Fe. A big "Thank You" to Hyundai of Slidell for all their assistance, esp. to Frank Osgood and Billy Schilling.

Let me begin by saying that I am not a young person with no new car buying experiences. Quite the opposite to be exact. Being in business for the majority of my life I leased vehicles every 2 years opting to drive new vehicles and releasing the existing one with low to moderate mileage . This worked well for me having the opportunity to drive a good amount of luxury vehicles . Enter Hyundai of Slidell and their professional staff. My first vehicle was purchased from their original Slidell location . The next THREE from their present location. Mr. Mike Stedem has created a family atmosphere around that location. Family pets walking around and every employee seems to like being there, making it a very good place to hang out while your vehicle is being serviced . As for the new car buying experience , truly a pleasurable thing which it is what it should be since it is indeed a fun time selecting a new vehicle. I have dealt with Christian on all occasions and is one of the reasons I'm on my 4th vehicle. He is very knowledgeable on all matters including suggesting the best value for your needs and fitting in your budget where it is. Just when I thought it could not get any better I was introduced to a young lady , very professional , and with an attitude and personality that makes you want to stay right there at that dealership. That was TIFFANY WIMBERLY . She was very accommodating on every count. Having access to Christian and working along side of Tiffany made this particular purchase even more pleasurable than before, which in itself was above average. Please allow me to share our sincere appreciation for the outstanding customer service provided by T.J., Christian and Chris. We came into the dealership with the sole purpose of just looking. After meeting with the sales and management staff we immediately felt comfortable and at home. No presssure, just an attempt to find the right fit for us. After serveral hours of discussion we walked out of the dealership with a 2017 Elantra Limited. That is not the end of the story. Two days later we were driving out with a 2016 Genesis. We could not be happier with the with the way the entire staff treated us. We truly felt like family.. Hyundai if Slidell has taken the pain, worry, and trickery out of a vehicle purchase. I actually spent a little over an hour at the dealership and drove off in the vehicle that I wanted for the terms I wished. And there were no surprises at signing that I had become accustomed to. Everyone there was professional, pleasant, unstressed, and well educated on the Hyundai line. I had done lots of research as usual to know what I wanted, and didn't even need the prep work. Their no nonsense, no pressure, no surprises team is actually there to make the deal a pleasure rather than a nightmare. I will definitely return for service and my next new vehicle. If you want friendly family oriented sales or service experience this is the dealership for that experience. I have always been dealt with the respect and fairness that you would expect when either purchasing or leasing a used or new vehicle. Having purchased or lease four vehicles from a Sonata or up the line to a new Genesis I have had excellent dealings with sales or management. During the would I would not have given a a nickle for a US manufactured automobile I tried Lexus and Nissan these were great vehicle then I experienced the Sonata. The car was great for the dollars, then step to Azera much nicer but the 2012 Genesis was greater experience. If you really want a giant leap for the money the 2016 is way to go. Thanks Hyundai of Slidell you have been your dearlership is the best!

With out a doubt Hyundai of Slidell is the best car buying experience that I have ever had. Everyone was very informative. They were professional with a no pressure attitude. They were quick to bring keys for test drives and when I decided to buy they very fast with the paperwork. The car was delivered to me detailed and full of gas. My phone was connected and all of the new features were explained to me. I have my salesman's phone number and he told me to call anytime. I never thought I would say this but they just made a customer for life. The guys I worked with made me feel like the most important person in the room. They all stayed until well after closing time to work with me and the banks to get me the right loan. They didn't just settle on the first offer they found and try to push it on me. They said based on my credit I deserved a particular APR and were not going to stop fighting until they got it. and Guess what? THEY GOT IT FOR ME! I couldn't be happier with this team and this dealership. Can't wait to bring my car in for my first service and my free oil change :)

Brought in my vehicle to sell outright due to being medically discharged from the military and unable to afford the payments. I was given a written and signed offer for my vehicle. I left to consider the offer and get lunch. When I returned I was told the written and signed offer I received would NOT be honored. Easy in and out, I received great service and the car we wanted at the price we expected. We even received what we expected for our trade in.All around a great experience.If it comes to car number three for my son I know where I will be headed.

The experience at Hyundai of Slidell was outstanding. I contacted the dealership and let them know what I was looking for. Within hours I was faxed two Santa Fa information sheets that fit my criteria, including price. I drove to the dealership and took a test drive with Kim. Chris Stedem answered all of my questions and once I decided to purchase introduced me to Christian who completed the paperwork. Then it was Franks turn and he set up my cell phone, adjusted the seats to fit me, reviewed all the gadgets and technology, walked me around the car pointing out all of the features. Not many dealerships today give you that experience of truly wanting your business. This is my second purchase from this dealership and it will not be my last.

I asked about a car here for about a month. Had the down payment and everything ready. I called, they said they would call me back. No call back. I emailed, no email back. I called again, "we will call you back when we get the papers ready" got all of my information. Didn't call me back. So I call again after a week has passed, they sold the car and blamed it on me that I didn't come sooner. I live 3 hours away, I didn't want to make that drive and not get the car.

My wife and I were searching the internet for a used car to replace one that had been totaled in an accident. We found one we liked and thought what could be easier. We went to the dealership and met Ryan. He made everything so simple and painless. The car was just as advertised and showroom clean. My wife drove the car home that same afternoon. , Thanks, Ryan, for all your help. I will be looking for still another vehicle in the not too distant future.
