My experience here was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Anthony Blue and Curley Tuck were a pleasure to work with truly professional. They came in on a Sunday at 8:30 am to accommodate my busy schedule

I recently relocated to the area and shortly after I arrived I noticed one of the belts on my vehicle was squeaking and a check engine light came on. I normally don't take my vehicles to a dealership for repairs because they are typically higher in price, but being new to the area I thought I would suck it up and pay the slightly higher price to have the issue with the belt fixed. When I dropped the vehicle off I asked them to check the check engine light also. The service rep told me that I would be charged $90 for service if they found something and I did not get the work done there. If I had work done they would waive the fee. That is pretty standard so I had no issues with it. I left the vehicle and waited for them to call me with the price. When they called me they said I had a loose a/c belt and a bad oxygen sensor. They also said the water pump was leaking. They gave me a quote of $451 for the oxygen sensor, $23 to tighten the belt, and $382 to replace the water pump. Money is tight right now so I gave them the go ahead for the belt and the water pump. The total should have been roughly $405 plus tax. When I went back to pick the vehicle up I was given a bill for $550! I looked at the receipt and noticed they charged me $90 for the computer check and an additional $42 for misc fees. I spoke to my service rep, Felicia, and was told I was charged the $90 because I did not get the oxygen sensor fixed there. When I said I was told that if I had work done there they would waive the fee, she said that only applied to the oxygen sensor. I asked what about the other $405 worth of repairs I had done? She said it didn't count towards waiving that fee. I then asked about the $42 misc fee. I was told that is a shop labor fee that is applied to every vehicle that is serviced there. I said I already paid for labor in the other fees at which time she explained those labor fees were for the labor of doing the service and this fee is for the labor of using their shop for the techs to work in! I said hold on, you mean to tell me I have to pay labor for the actual work and a labor fee for your techs to use your own shop to do the repairs in? She then back tracked and said it was for shop materials and it is added to every bill. I asked why I wasn't told about it when you called me with the estimate nor was I told I would still be charged the $90. I was given an estimate of $23 for the belt, and $382 for the water pump, plus tax. Nothing else! She said she was sorry and then total silence. It didn't make a difference that I was mislead or they were wrong. This was the one and only time I will ever use this dealership for service. These are the same shady pricing and business practices that give decent mechanics a bad name. Do yourself a favor and get everything in writing before you okay any services here. I would recommend bringing your vehicle somewhere else.

Joni Boatwright is an excellent sales person. The whole dealership makes you feel like you are part of a family. I have done business with another dealership for over 30 years and was treated like I didn't matter. Joni made my family and myself feel like we were VIPS. She did everything possible into getting the truck I wanted with what I wanted. She kept me up-to-date on the progress of the truck, and when it arrived she send me a message on the arrival. Once again thank you for all your care and friendship with family and myself.I will do more business in the future. Thank You Joni and God Bless.

My name is DaCorey Odomes and I am 23 years young. I walked into I-95 expecting great things and I was given more than that. The salesman that helped me was outstanding! His name is Daniel Medders. Mr. Medders was very knowledgable, respectful, direct, and honest. I could really feel his desire to want tot help me get in a vehicle, not just sale me a car. He did everything he could to help me given my circumstances. And at one moment he wa just as excited as I was when we believed things were going to work for me. Unfortunately, because of my own personal reasons I was unable to be placed in any vehicle. But I haven't stopped thinking about the customer service I was privileged to receive. I work in a restaurant, two to be exact, and I know we as people can become overwhelming at times. Yet Daniel was kind, polite, and diligent. I really appreciate Mr. Medders! And I thank I-95 for having Daniel Medders on their team! He is a good person, he is a good person to buy a car from, and he is a good asset to that team!!!

I started my car buying journey by calling 3 places. I called Toyota first & Tyler Mitchell answered the phone. He listened to everything I had to say, & immediately started working to see what he could do. An hour after my first call I was sitting in the dealership. I had no idea how this would go. We worked everything out & now I am very impatiently waiting on my car. Tyler is an awesome salesman, but he is an even better person. He will keep you laughing & make the car buying experience enjoyable! Thanks Tyler!!!

We have a unique vehicle with very low miles for sale. We were contacted by Kyle at I-95 Toyota. We were told he was very interested in this particular vehicle due to pictures and low millage. My husband informed him due to the uniqueness of this vehicle we would not come down in price and please don't waste our time. He insisted the dealership wanted our vehicle and convinced us to make an appointment. They would have a private appraiser on site for this appt. We arrived at appointment time, spent 45 minutes waiting for this appraiser and manager. We never met either person and don't think our car was even looked at. We were ready to leave when Kyle cane back with good news and bad news. They couldn't come anywhere near our price but would give us full price or more on a trade-in. 30 min to get there, 45 min to wait, 20 seconds to walk out. This was nothing more than a scam. DON'T FALL FOR THEIR DECEPTIVE PRATCICES.

We shopped several dealerships looking for a perfect vehicle! At I-95 Toyota we found the right salesperson, Joni Boatright, who found us a car that was luxurious, extremely comfortable for long trips, economical, loaded with technology, and beautiful! She took so much time understanding our needs and pairing it with her experience to match us up with an AVALON!!! Then she was very patient as she taught us how to use all the bells and whistles that will make our car time like being on vacation every time we drive! Thank you Joni for going the extra mile! We are very very happy! We highly recommend I-95 and especially Joni Boatright!!!

I purchased a 2015 Dodge Journey after Thanksgiving 2015. There was a deep abrasion scratch and they told me to bring it back to get taken care of (I don't live close to dealership). When I went away for Christmas holiday I had vehicle towed to dealership so that it could be repaired while I was out of town. There was some sought of repair done, but it was very noticable where the damage was out (found out later it wasnt primed correctly) Ive been back 2xs...spoke to Zach he told service dept to take care of it. They scheduled to pick my car up...never came never called. When I called them back, I got shifted around again. Its now May, car is still not fixed and I juat purchased 4 new tires for this vehicle because the tires were so bad that it was effecting my gas mileage.I'm a single woman and I felt pressured to purchase the vehicle. But that is on me. I'm on a fixed income and to have to purchase new tires was definitely a burden. I'm not happy on how Ive been treated since my purchase.

Joni goes above and beyond to ensure that her customers leave happy.

Please be alert and keep an eye on the contract. This dealership will roll you. They will act as your friends but they know all the tricks of the trade and will not hesitate to use them. They are smooth talking and good at steering the conversation/negotiation with ease. They will rush you through the process and take advantage of unsupecting people. Beware of the manipulation that breaks down your confidence and deflects your attention.Dishonest, unethical and predators. Good at defending their practice and diffusing complaints.

I brought my truck in for service , I had a 8:30 am appointment. Went to pick it up a 7 pm, after working all day , they hadn't finished it. It was still on the rack. I told them to just stop work on it, I was ready to go home. I noticed the paper work they left me said all service was complete. Somebody's getting paid for work there not completing. Never again will use them, and I talk to a bunch of everyday with my job. Shame on them.

I have been looking to purchase a dependable vehicle for over a year, I gave Ms. Williams a call told her I was looking to purchase a vehicle with a little down payment. In a matter of 45 minutes she gave me a call back saying I was approved for a 2016 Toyota Camary I have purchased a 4 Runner from this dealership as well but never a brand new vehicle. I was pleased with her dedication to her job. I would most definitley recommend her to my friends coworker etc.

For three days over the phone the guy asked me to drive up to Brunswick to do the Truecar deal. For 3 days we had the deal wrapped up including the trade. When I got to I-95 Toyota, there was no such car. He came back straight faced and said he could not do the deal as we agreed and gave me his best offer. What happened next was unbelievable; it was so insulting. His offer was not $1,000 or $2000 higher. His offer, hold your hat, was $12,000 more than he confirmed over the phone. You read that right...$12,000. (I was trading an expensive car and buying one of their expensive cars, so $thousands more on the price and $thousand less on trade plus all their add-on fees.)When I said I want the car from Truecar he said they did not have one. (I thought I would take the Truecar car and not do a trade.)I still don't get it. Maybe they thought they would play with me and knock $8,000 off the deal and trick me into thinking that if I paid a net of $4,000 over what we agreed I would be happy. It was some insulting strategy.I thought the sales manger would walk out of his office and soften things; but apparently he crafted the deal.I have dealt with many dealers but this was the absolute worst.Don't drive there unless the salesperson emails you the official final walk-out price with the car VIN. A real agreement. Something you can take to court. Good dealers will do that.If they say they can't do it, move on.

I want to say that every time I have gone to I-95 Toyota for service on my vehicle, Jay has been one of the best people there. He is prompt, courteous, and has excellent customer service skills. He ensures that when I leave from having a service that I am well cared for and I appreciate that. There has been only one other time I went there and was treated well and that was when I wanted to purchase another vehicle, and Joni Boatright assisted me. I will say though, I thought I should have received more information concerning my lease purchase. When I retruned to speak with Joni and she was not in, one of the sales guys pulled my credit and lied and told me it was a soft inquiry when it was not. I was very displeased with him and because of that I have purchased my newest Toyota from a dealership on Jacksonville. One bad apple can truly spoil the whole bunch and this salesperson has certainly spoiled my taste for this dealership. Jay...you are the best, and if I need service I will return to you. Thanks I-95...

Dishonest and unethical does not begin to describe what we experienced at I-95 Toyota. My husband and I were in St. Simons over the holiday when we had car troubles. The car was not in any state to travel long distances, and because of the holiday schedule, our only option (between St. Simons and Savannah) was I-95 Toyota. The mechanics promptly told us their diagnosis, which didn't make sense considering recent service preformed on the vehicle by our long-time, trusted mechanic in north Georgia. After calling our trusted mechanic, he asked for us to have the mechanic at I-95 Toyota called him. When we asked the Toyota mechanic he told us that he had come in on his day off to service our vehicle (the service department was operating under regular hours, so this argument does not really hold water) and that he was too busy working on the vehicle. At that point we should have halted service. In my opinion, he admitted guilt right then. They knew that we were in a bind, with nowhere else to go, and they took advantage of our situation. I-95 "fixed" our Sequoia so that it was fit to drive, and we took it to our trusted mechanic as soon as we could get home. We had asked for them to give us all of the "old" parts they had replaced. Thank goodness. Our mechanic revealed that they had scammed us. They had replaced the real problem, a very minor repair, and never reported it on the invoice. Then, they proceeded to replace several other parts that were not in need of replacement and charged us for all of those. Unfortunately, there is not much recourse for us. It is a finger pointing game. That being said, I want to share with everyone even considering taking their car to I-95 Toyota our story.

I had a run in with the service manage and the general manager over a very small issue that would have been so easy to fix but they both ganged up on me and refused. How would you like to be 3 days past your toyota care, which provides free oil changes and tire rotations for 5 times or 2 years. Unless you drive a lot of miles the best you can do is get 4 of these, but that"s another story. I got 3. All I wanted them to do was throw in the tire rotation, that's all. How long would that have taken them and I would have been made happy? Now that my lease is up I will be going elsewhere to lease my next vehicle. The manager called me and asked what he could do to make it right? You are kidding, aren't you? There is nothing you can do now after insulting and intimidating me to save a couple of dollars. Their website says they will go 110% to make you happy, more like 35%.

I was a customer of I-95 Toyota in Brunswick, Ga for 7+ years until recently. After hundreds of miles driven back and forth from my home to the dealership over the years (I live 37 miles from this dealership), I had enough. I originally brought my vehicle in to have a bug guard and vent shades added however the service dept. scratched the paint over each door so severly that they had to have a body guy come in and repaint the car ( I'm not even going to go into the story of the Service Writer lying to me about having the bug guard in his possestion but come to find out they don't even make one for my car! or the fact that he would not return my calls when I was trying to find out if the part had arrived and when I could come it have it put on). The worst part of that is that when they delivered my car to me with my new vent shades, no one said a word to me about the scratches on the car. I had to get the service writer out to look at it. Now, I'm irritated but at least I have my new vent shades on, not so fast. As I'm driving home they become unglued and fall down. I now call the dealership to explain about this issue, they tell me to bring it back and they will fix it when they fix the paint they was scratched by the dealership earlier. Now the paint, it's not the same as the original at all, not smooth black, but "bumpy" black. Not happy with this but I'm irritated and it's good enough. As far as the vent shades, I had to bring my car back 2 more times to get them to try to fix the "gluing issue" and they never got it right. To this day, the shades are screwed up and I only have 3 on the car because one of them blew off while driving down I-95! When I picked up my vehicle though, I noticed both exterior & interior damage to my car that was not there prior to dropping it off (I'm not even going to go into the interior damage to the electric window area button panel that they broke while fixing the electric lock). I decided enough was enough and will NEVER return. I tried to contact Toyota Corp. but they were no help since they cannot control what goes on in any dealership. I decided to write a letter. here it is: 10/24/14Chris,I have sent this coupon book back to you because I will not be bringing my vehicle nor my other three Toyotas back to your service dept. ever again due to the poor service I have received from your dept. and the lack of integrity your facility has shown to me and my family. After 7 years and thousands of dollars spent at your dealership its shocking to me to still have vehicle issues not resolved (I now only have three vent shades on my car because one of them flew off on I-95 because they were not glued on correctly as I mentioned two times to you and Jason, also a door lock that was not fixed among others.) I was hoping to resolve these issues with you initially and let bygones be bygones since we had worked together for so long but every time I brought my vehicle in to be repaired something else would come back broken; and to have the GM of that facility actually indicate to my wife that WE were somehow breaking the cars and blaming in on you is not only insulting but frankly moronic. We are far too busy to drive 70 miles round trip and wait in your waiting room for multiple hours on my only day off, it again shows the lack of desire to fix the issues you created and any kind of integrity.Thank you for your past service but the lying, poor attitude, poor service and lack of integrity have forced us to spend our money with a dealership that appreciates our business. If you have anything you would like to discuss Im available at 912.XXX.XXXX, if not, good luck.

The sales guy kept saying, "I know the deal you want; we can get it. I wouldn't have you drive all this way if we couldn't do it." Then he said, "if we do it with a Hybrid, it would make the deal easier". My wife and I are thinking this guy is not making sense. All our best calculations (and we did A LOT of research) is that we would be $1,600 apart plus tax, title and license. He is saying T,T and L, not the $1600 difference. We found it hard to believe. He comes out from the manager with written offer. How far was he off? Drum roll....Tax, title and license, plus $12,000 HA, HA,HA,HA,HA,HA, HARepeat, plus $12 THOUSAND. After I left I started feeling sorry for the guy. He will not last long.Know prices before you walk in. That's easy; there are many places on the internet that will help you know what to pay.Knowing your trade-in worth is the MOST IMPORTANT thing. Again 3 good places exist on the web to get value estimates. Stick with a good average price and defend it.Extremely Important: Know the model and options you have to have before you start the process.STICK with your plan and if things don't work out there are many other dealers.

I bought a Tundra there in August, and I admit the sales experience was pretty good. However, since then the customer service has been a joke. The first question you should be asking is why I would need customer service so quickly. I need a tag for the truck to be legal. It took them four weeks to submit the paperwork for my tag. The problem is once the paperwork is submitted it can take more than six weeks to receive a tag. GA only allows a total of two months for a temporary tag. In the numerous calls I have made to the dealership, their story has changed each time as to the reason things aren't working. More commonly I just don't get calls back. When I went to the store and asked for a manager I proceeded to wait for over twenty minutes before giving up. Other employees even discuss the failures of their management and their tag office openly to customers. Two months later, the state is still saying no paperwork has been processed by the dealership with them. I even had the clerk at the tag office talk directly to the people at the dealership to call them on their lies

If you require service on your Toyota vehicle, head over to I95 Toyota in Brunswick. When you do, ONLY deal with service agent Jay and have ONLY Keith work on your vehicle. Do not let anybody else influence you. If either of them are not available, come back when they are.Throughout your life you will find that there will be people you can put your trust in. These two are fine examples of those individuals.

The gages on the prius had blacked out. JC was so helpful. I was upset since we were far away and he calmed me down. He knew immediately what I had done by putting papers on the dash. My dealer in IL didn't have a clue what was wrong. Then he reallized even though out of town I needed the 5000 service and took care of it. He's a keeper

I have contacted this dealership three times over a four hour period to get a rental quote. No one will call me back or send me a quote. I wanted to rent a Toyota because we are interested in purchasing one in the future. Not likely if this is an example of the customer service available from Toyota.

in a nutshell----total lack of communication from service advisor. dropped off vehicle for warranty service. wrote phone numbers on ticket. never receieved calls from service dept., except for maybe once when initial diagnosis was made. then the communication problems began.. left voice mails with phone number. no calls. we had to continually call dealership to get info on when car would be ready (was provided a rental with a rental end date of last friday...had to actually call dealership to find out if car was ready friday--it wasn't--and to make sure rental contract would continue). actually left two or three voice mails that were not returned. finally received a phone call monday afternoon that the car was ready. my husband picked up the vehicle today. found out the guy in service was calling an old, old work phone number of mine instead of the numbers i had provided him more than once, but he never used them. the work number he had was last used by me in 2007. i was actually planning to trade my vehicle in for a camry or venza sometime in early 2012, but if this is the level of service i can expect from the service advisor, i will seriously reconsider my plans. i have no intention of purchasing a car from a dealership that cannot communicate. actually, my car needed an oil change, and my husband tried calling the dealership this morning to tell you guys to do the oil change before he came to pick up the car, but he could never get through--it was just a recording (it was not prior to opening). so he gave up--will get oil changed elsewhere as well.

I made the mistake of letting you sell me on a timing belt for my 1999 Land Cruiser. On my way back to Atlanta my car started to over heat. I was able to pull off the highway in downtown Atlanta. I waited one hour and 45 minutes for a AAA tow and incurred a $60 towing fee. I ended up having to get a new thermastat AND a new radiator (roughtly $1,100). My Sandy Springs Toyota service advisor (Vishal Amin) indicates a)the thermastat should have been replaced with the timing belt, b) they found a big bolt left on the splash shield, and c) that you cut a hose and "covered it up" via use of electrical tape. The words used to describe your work were SHODDY and NEGLIGENT. My service adviser suggests that you provide me with some recompense.Greg Gates -- Customer Number 81484404-266-9876Printed and carbon copy to: Mr. Jim Bishop, The Bishop Law Firm, Brunswick, Ga

JC went above and beyond to take care of me. I was in just yesterday to have services done on the car, JC had a rental car ready. Not only was the car something I would love, he had already written the directions to send me to the mall. I had an awesome experience with this dealership and will continue to do business here.

A very attractive dealership that invites customers onto the large campus to browse through their vehicle inventory. Warmly greeted by JC Crivea that spent as much time with me explaining the features of the 2011 Sienna SE. No sales pressure was inferred at any time during our conversation. My name nor phone number was recorded at the dealership; any future contact with the dealership is my decision. This level of customer respect is new to me, and welcomed.

With an ever expanding family and a shrinking budget, I was in the market for a reliable used minivan. I emailed Zack Hedgepeth regarding a 2007 Toyota Sienna that was for sale. He quickly responded to all my questions and we scheduled a test drive. When I arrived at the dealership, Corey Stowell assited me with the test drive as well as the closing on the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle at a very reasonable price and was treated well (despite the fact that I was unable to get the price dropped). The sales staff was motivated to make a sale but far from pushy or overbearing. I am a very satisfied customer. He was very knowledgeable about the competition and the differences between them but never spoke badly about them, in fact told me that they were great cars but made it very clear and understandable why the Camry and I95 Toyota was my best choice. My first contact with I95 Toyota was when Colin called to answer questions that I had submitted online. At the dealership Zack showed me several options with used or new vehicles. He was extremely knowledgeable not only about Toyota, but particularly with the 2 Sienna's that I test drove. The test drive was under real conditions from slow to interstate. This experience was so much better than the one I had at another dealership when I bought my 2010 Camry. I will say that free oil changes or free service up to 25,000 miles was inticing. After making the sale, I did have a concern that the payments would be too high for my budget to be comfortable. I called Zach the next day and he called me back within minutes with a solution. Since I was out of town at the time, he said just come by on your way back. I did-and everything was worked out to my satisfaction. Zach was also willing to drive my Camry to my house in Hinesville. Who else would do that? My trip from Hinesville to Brunswick was more than worth it. I would recommend Zach and I95 Toyota to anyone considering purchasing a vehicle. If you do, tell them Debbie sent you.

After buying our last Toyota in Jacksonville several years ago my wife and I were extremely hesitant to enter into the car buying process again. Well after hearing and seeing ads for their 20 year 200,000 mile warranty (of which I was skeptical) and oil changes for life I decided to give them a call. The phone was answered quickly (first good sign) and I was soon tranfered to Cory Stowell. Cory was very professional on the phone, was very knowledgeable with any question I had regarding our possible new Camry purchase and asked some questions which I felt helped narrow down our search for what we wanted and expected in our new car. I had a very good feeling so was happy to set an appointment with him for that Saturday. We showed up and Immediately had the feeling that we had come to the right place as all the staff were friendly and helpfull. Cory greeted us and soon had us in front of the car that we had discussed on the phone which had been obviously set up just for our presentation (that made us feel special) After a very thorough presentation of all the new features and diferences from our previous Camry (a 2004) we were on a test drive. We loved how quiet and spirited the Camry SE was compared to our old car. (which we loved) Now time for the dreaded part.... the negotiations.... Much to my pleasant surprise they were easy, honest, and straight forward. Cory was able to work with us and got us to a payment we were very happy with (with help from his boss Curley of course, thanks Curley!) It seemed no time at all and the final paperwork was completed and signed (Including the incredible and REAL 20 year 200,000 mile warranty) and we were presented our beautiful new car and was driving home. All in all the process took a couple hours ( a far cry from the all day fiasco the last time) and we were extremely happy we made that call! My wife and I would sincerely recommend both I-95 Toyota and especailly our salesman Cory to anyone! Apologies for the long review but this was truly our BEST buying experience EVER!

I had a great experience purchasing a Toyota Venza from I-95 Toyota. I live in Jacksonville and I-95 is the only Toyota dealer that actually has an Internet sales department. (My local dealers claim to have Internet sales but would not respond to emails...rather telling me to give them my number to call so we could discuss what I want.) The folks at I-95 (Collin Cordell) dealt with me many times via email and got the exact car I was looking for (color, features, etc.). He was great to deal with and negotiate a sale online. When I went to the dealership to purchase the new car, the vehicle and terms were exactly as negotiated....in fact better with some addition maintenance and warranty thrown in. Colin and Joni B. were great to work with and I have been sending friends looking for Toyota's their way. I highly recommend the dealership for the professional, honest treatment I received. Well worth the drive from Jacksonville for an easy sale without shenanigans:-)

What caught my attention to this dealership was a large billboard just off the hwy on I-95 advertising their 20 Yr / 200,000 mile warranty on all new Toyotas sold. I'm here to tell you that claim is real, and it's in writing! Their website is very informative, easy to navigate, and has links to their on-hand inventory. That way you know what they have to offer before you ever have to talk to someone. I worked directly with their sales manager, Mr Collin Cordell, and he was friendly, gracious, and willing to work with me on a price I could afford. I much appreciated his attentiveness to my needs and wants, and the time he spent with me, even though I know he was a very busy man. He never once had to drop our conversations to tend to other business. We mostly communicated via email, as I live in Virginia, yet he always responded to my queries with same day service, sometimes within minutes. Wow! If you are in the market for a new vehicle, I would strongly recommend this dealership, and especially Mr Cordell as the man to talk to.Randall A. Baker

I bought a brand new 2011 Tundra dbl cab TRD from them in Dec. 2010. The dealership was clean and inviting. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the trucks. I got the best warranty and service agreement with them. They worked with me on price much easier than the other dealerships did, and I feel that I was treated like a person and not a "sell"! After I bought and the truck arrived they spent a lot of time going back over every detail of the truck and did not hurry me along at all. I received all my paperwork in the mail in a timely manner and have had several follow up calls to make sure that I was satisfied with everything. I highly recommend that if you are in the market for a vehicle you HAVE to give them a chance!

Two years ago I tried to deal with I-95 Toyota on a Camry Hybrid. My experience at that time was very negative and I ended up buying a 2009 Camry Hybrid in Savannah.Having such a good experience with my 2009, I was looking to trade for a 2011. And living so close to Brunswick I prefer to purchase locally. So, I went back to I-95 Toyota to deal on a new hybrid.Upon arrival at the dealership, I was greeted by a salesperson who acted as though they were doing us a great favor by helping us (we couldn't get to the lot without there trapping us). While looking at the hybrids, I noted that on the sticker there was a $1800.00 charge for "Free Oil Changes for Life and 200,000 mile warranty". When I asked about what I considered to be a bogus charge, the salesperson responded that it was to "adjust the price to market value" and that in Jacksonville they just add the amount to the sticker price. At this point, the salesperson seemed to become hostile and there only concern was to get back in the airconditioning or to a customer that wouldn't ask questions.I've never been to Jacksonville Toyota, but I guess I'll try there or Savannah rather than put up with I-95's BS.

This review site is needed just for dealerships like this one (sales floor staff anyway - can't comment on the internet department). I've had good experiences and bad experiences with dealers before but literally nothing as horrific as this. The salesman (who practically tripped over himself sprinting out to "greet" me before I could step inside) literally knew NOTHING about the vehicle I was interested in (features, options, rebates, interest rates, etc. - literally NOTHING, it was actually almost humorous).Through research I knew how much what I wanted would cost going in but the sales manager refused to get even close to that number and I hate playing games. To make it worse they tried to offer me about 20% below even a lowball value on my trade. All things said and done I ended up buying the exact same vehicle from another dealer for literally $10,000 less (incl trade). Mind you this was not some $90,000 vehicle but $30k so you're talking about a HUGE difference. My favorite part of the experience is what I call the "hide the keys" game. That's where they refuse to give you back the keys to your trade so you can't leave. It took literally FIVE requests and getting angry before they were given back. And when I finally got my keys to leave you should have seen how quickly the "friendliness" of the salesman went away. That shows true character - they could have cared less whether you're breathing or not, just give them the money.....overall exactly the "shady" experience as you could stereotype about car dealers.**Follow up as of 3/14/11** Apparently they are under new management now and the general manager has contacted me about my review and expressed his apologies for past treatment (obviously not under his control). He has assured me that they have taken great strides to remedy any past problem employees and change the core values of the dealership. While my experience in 2010 was extremely poor and the review accurate at the time it does sound that dealings like mine will now be likely to occur now. I have not had any business with them but the new manager has gone out of his way to communicate with me over this and I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and consider for future dealings.

Normally car dealers are very shady and slimy when it comes to selling cars. Yesterday I can honestly say that I experienced the most extreme case of slime. I received a brochure in the mail to visit I95 Toyota for a short sale in used cars. I am currently looking for a quality used car.I told the salesman "George" that I am looking for a car that is larger than my current SUV on the phone. When I arrived he took me outside and told me that the sale was a complete sham. I was confused and didn't understand what he was trying to tell me until he handed me a piece of paper about some new car buying program??? Why am I now being directed to buy a new car? I said that I was here for the short sale and I would like to look at what was available...he told me that I couldn't get a good deal and I wouldn't win anything it was just a scam to get people into the store. We looked at 4 vehicles that all had plus 70K miles, they all really stunk. The one SUV that I thought might work was a 2007 Sequoia that had almost 73K miles. I looked the KBB on the vehicle and the trade value was $18K and the Certified resale was $24K...now is when the real slime started to show from this Dealership. I went in with the understanding that this was a short sale of cars not lets rape the buyer sale.I drive a rather nice car that has leather, moonroof and other upgraded features that I expect in a car. The only reason I am upgrading is to give the kids more room. The Sequoia isn't that much bigger than my mountianeer but I liked the way it drove, the seating and extra room in the back for my gear.If I decided to purchase this vehicle I would be making a huge downgrade in the quality of comfort that I have grown accustomed to having in a SUV. I was told about the amazing resale value of a Toyota...their 2010 Sequoia of the same quality was $43K but yet 3-years later the value dropped just over $20K sum value hold. When I asked about the Toyota recalls...I was told by George that was just a nasty marketing gimmick engineered by GM? Are you kidding me?In the history of dealerships this is by far the worst dealership I have ever wasted my time looking for a car. This experience will have me never looking at the overpriced shady dealings of Toyota.
