The people who work at this dealership are so friendly and so helpful. It was my first time leasing a car and Ty made the process so easy. Ty was wonderful to work with when both my husband and I got new vehicles! I was dead set against a new car but at the same time have not had good luck with used cars. He sat down with me and reviewed cost first because I also did not think a new car was something my family could afford at the time. He also reviewed leasing and warranty options to make sure that my vehicle would be covered if something were to happen. Ty made sure to keep me informed through every step of the buying process and helped me make the best informed decision. I would highly recommend working with him and will be back when it is time for my next car.

The sales associate I had, Jennifer, was great, very personable, not pushy. Just wants to get you in a car you like that fits within what you're looking for. Edit: the issue I had had been removed as the team was very apologetic, and truly made it right in the end. There was definitely issues in communication between departments, but at the end of the day, the service was good and I got the car I wanted

Kevin was very helpful in explaining the process since much of it was on line. There was no pressure quickly agree to the deal. He listened to what we would like in the way of options and continued to work with us on the cost of the lease. We would highly recommend him to see when purchasing or leasing a vehicle.

I met Brad when I went in for my Pilot in 2012. When I wanted a new car again, I called him up, and left him a voicemail telling him what I wanted, what color, what year, and referenced the deal that I wanted, which they were currently promoting. He called me back in less than 15 minutes. I made an appointment to go see him the next day, which was a crazy busy Saturday, end of October busy...spent less than one and a half hour with him and his team, and picked my car up 2 days later. When you work with Ide Honda, you're dealing with people who have been there for 10+ years. I got my first Ide Honda in 2003. I just got my 3rd one from them. They are the best. And the next time I'm ready for a new Honda...I'll be calling in my order just as I did last time. They are family, and will take care of you as one.

I went into IDE Honda after my cars breaks stopped working and I knew it was time for an upgrade. Based on my experiences with other dealerships in the past, I was expecting to spend my entire night in the dealership, leave with little to no answers, and had already planned on needing to visit other dealerships later in the week. Not at IDE! I will never shop anywhere else for another car again!! Joe was my sales man and I would recommend him to anyone. I've dealt with creepy or pushy sales men in past who try to take advantage of my lack of car knowledge and age. Joe was professional, honest and very patient! He truly made my car buying experience what it was! I test drove the 2016 Honda Civic and fell in love. We filled out the paper work, did the financials and in less than an hour I was leaving with an appointment 2 days later to pick the car up.Adam in financing was another huge help! My credit is very limited because of my age and I really was expecting to be denied for a loan to lease the vehicle. He worked so well with me, answering my (many) calls and emails kindly and professionally and did a fantastic job working with the company to get me a reasonable approval rate! I could not be happier with my experience at IDE Honda. Like I said, I will never go anywhere else again for a car and recommend to any and all of my friends and family! Thank you so, so much IDE!!!!!!

We have owned or leased a number of automobiles from Ide Honda and can affirm that Honda produces a superior product. We can also attest that Ide Honda's customer service is second to none. We have never felt pressured to make a purchase or lease. Brad Constantinople and Roberto Galante have been mindful of our budget and have been a pleasure to work with. The same can be said for the folks in the Service Department. Mark Frey and Jim Milella have been very accommodating and honest in regard to maintaining our vehicles. On occasion, We have taken a car in for a service and was told it wasn't necessary. Ide Honda has more than earned our business, they have earned our trust! Ide Honda is great! Incredible on all levels! Fromm the time we walked in the door, to the entire purchasing process! Thank you Gerry and Roberto, for making my daughter's first car buying experience nothing but fabulous!They talked directly to her, which I loved and did not leave out any of the extra little special things they covered. I had looked at many new and used vehicles (not Hondas) at 4 other locations that were much closer to my home. After searching the internet, I decided to ride out to Ide. From the moment I pulled in the parking lot, I felt invited. After test driving two vehicles, and discussing many others, I knew I was going to purchase my next vehicle here. I took the weekend to contemplate my options and decide what was best for me. The staff was respectful, not at all pushy or forceful. I sat down with Alex P. and he gave me his undivided attention - explaining all of my options between new and used, leasing or buying - how it would all play out in the end. He was absolutely fantastic. He allowed me to ask questions and change my mind ten times. He never made me feel like a pain in the butt. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and more satisfied knowing I left the dealership with peace of mind. No questions or concerns. Alex was extremely thorough from point A to point Z. I would also like to compliment the financial department that also sat with me and was just as clear. Brandon (sales dept) was terrific; extremely patient, very sensitive to my hesitations/concerns, great at finding the answers to all my questions, and totally up front and honest throughout. I never felt rushed, or like I was being fast talked into anything. He and the team were very supportive when surprising bad news regarding my trade-in appeared, and they bent over backward to help me resolve an issue with its title. I'm a single woman; senior citizen; nervous about the whole process; VERY relieved and grateful that this was overall a great buying experience.Unfortunately, while driving off the lot an airbag light appeared on the dash; when it stayed on for several days I found it in the manual and learned it indicates a problem. Jake (service dept) was absolutely wonderful setting up an appointment at my convenience and even offering to drive me to work while the problem was being resolved... now let's see if that 6 mo warranty takes care of whatever is wrong for no charge!

I arrived at my scheduled service appointment expecting to drop my car off and walk home to complete a full Saturday of activities then figure a way back to Dick Ide toward the afternoon to get my car back. Jim Milella looked at his schedule and stated he should be able to complete the service in just over an hour if I wanted to stay and relax in the excellent service center waiting room. I stayed at the shop just over an hour and was back on my way. I thank Jim for his continued friendly, honest, and consistent Customer Service every time. We take our cars in for service to Dick Ide. My husband and I went in knowing exactly what we wanted, which Ide Honda had in stock, ready to go. When it came to making the deal, we were told we would get 0.9% financing over 60 months, and that we would get $500 in rebates because my husband graduated less than 2 years ago. The salesman gave us the 0.9% rate, even went in the back to "talk to finance" (to be sure that my husband qualified for the $500 rebate) and told him that he would indeed qualify for the rebate. All of this just to get my husband in with the finance department for them to say, "Oh, by the way, it's not 0.9%, it's 1.9%. And it's not over 60 months, it's over 36. And oh, by the way, you don't qualify for the $500 off." The salesman is a representative of Ide Honda, is he not? What he offers should be honored when you get to the finance department, ready to sign away tens of thousands of dollars and commit to payments for the next several years. The woman in finance became defensive and incredibly rude when we brought up these very valid points. It all seemed very manipulative and pompous. Sort of like, "We don't need your business. If it's not you, it will be some other sucker." Protect yourselves and your finances.... do NOT shop at Ide Honda. (FYI- we walked into Garber Honda, told them exactly what we wanted...car, price, financing, etc. and were in and out in less than an hour!)

I had come to Ide from a family recommendation after totaling my Mazda. I agreed to a quote for an HRV, made a payment, and within 24 hours, was called and informed my payment was going to be higher. So why did I write a check for something different? After leaving voicemail after voicemail, I finally got a call back and told Ashley I would not be going through with the deal. I asked for my money back and was told it takes 7-10 days. You better believe if that check isn't at my home on the 10th day, there's going to be bigger issues. Horrible financing department, how does a company function without returning people's xxxx phone calls. Absolutely ridiculous. Ended up buying a Mazda from Marketplace Mazda without ANY b.s. My salesman Will, finally got in touch with me about 4 days after all of this went down, I emailed him back explaining my frustration, and never received an email back. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone unless you plan on getting jerked around and not having people answer your calls. Unless you physically walk in there, expect nothing.

I rely on my personal vehicle for the work that I do, and found myself in need of a new tire ASAP in the midst of my work day...from my initial call to the service department to ask how fast this could happen (Amber), to arriving at the desk (Linda), to my check out (Kalie), I was provided the best customer service and understanding of my predicament that I have ever experienced with any service department thus far. A special thank you to Linda and Amber for setting me up with a loaner vehicle and getting me back on the road to make it to my appointments while my tire was replaced! We were in the market for a new or slightly used CRV, saw what we wanted in the Ide website, and with the help of Joe Preteroti, quickly test drove, discussed, and settled on a price. Straight talk, no gimmicks, no upsells. Traded in a 10 year old Odyssey that came from Ide. Smooth sailing through DMV, insurance, and financing, with additional help from Ashley Pierce. Car was ready when promised. Overall, hassle-free experience with good follow-up, and exactly what we expected and hoped for. Would highly recommend to others.

Last minute change in the monthly payment supposedly was an honest mistake. The final payment was ~ $20 more/monthly than what was initially quoted to me. (this had nothing to do with any extended wear plan, etc) The financing guy made a mistake that I ended up paying for even though the sales guy said nothing would change (after the discrepancy was discovered). Love the car but the whole experience was sullied by this nonsense and has left a nasty aftertaste. Apparently Dick Ide don't doesnt make it a practice of providing copies of the paperwork of the deal until is closed. If this documentation had been provided this mess would have been avoided. Buyer beware and get copies of your paperwork prior to closing so you know what you're getting into.

My husband has purchased from Ide Honda in the past but this was my first purchase. Excellent is what I'd say about everything! I walked in the lobby and the receptionist was friendly and helpful, She got me a sales representative in less than a minute. Brendan is awesome! He truly made my car buying experience a pleasure! He is very easy to talk to, helpful and really listened to what I wanted on my first visit. He explained the car's features, showed me several cars and colors and went with me for a test drive. He called me back to follow up with available cars that fit my requirements so I went back to see him. We added features, finalized the paperwork, and worked out the financing with no stress involved. I love my new car!!!

Russ Vandewall was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very helpful to my Mother, who was not looking forward to taking her car in to the dealership for repairs. He explained exactly what needed to be done and even gave her a rental car so she could go home for the day rather than spending hours waiting for the work to be completed. When I called to talk with him about the bill and payment options, he was very responsive and was ready to do whatever he could to help. We just picked up our second Honda Odyssey from Dick Ide Honda today. A new 2016 Special Edition! Our sales representative Brad Constantino was amazing yet again! He has been wonderful to work with for many, many years. He listens to our needs and wants and also our wallet! This is our 6th vehicle from the Dick Ide Dealership. We've had a Civic, Ridgeline, S200, 2 Odysseys and a Pontiac G6. All have been gorgeous and reliable leases. I can't say enough great things about Honda alone. I had a great experience at Ide Honda. I went in looking to order a 6 speed manual transmission HRV (EX) after another dealership in Rochester told me that it could not be ordered, as they are not readily available. Ide was not only able to order it, they also provided me updates on the entire process. Brad was great and gave me every piece of information that he had on my car as soon as he had it. He was super friendly and I would definitely go back and work with him again. I absolutely love my new HRV!

I have leased Honda Accords for quite a few years with Ide Honda. This was my second lease purchase with Paul. He is very friendly and professional. Paul is fun to work with and he helped me find my new Accord with speed and ease. When I say 'speed' ... the whole transaction took less than 1.5 hours including looking at new cars. The showroom is bright, clean and a friendly atmosphere. I recommend Ide Honda for your next Honda purchase. I was very worried on how long things would take to get my car in order. My parents were purchasing me a used car over spring break and I was skeptical on if I would have it in time to go back to college. Will Galliher was the salesman we worked with and he was absolutely fantastic. My car was ready at the time he said it would be, with all of the changes I needed for the car was done and it looked brand new. Everyone we met with was extremely helpful and accommodating. I wasn't sure what to expect. First time at Ide Honda. Welcome to the showroom by the front receptionist was classy, cordial and prompt and I didn't feel like a piece of meat swarmed over by sales people! She introduced me to my sales consultant! The first thing I told Will Gallaher, my salesman, was please spare me all the back and forth Bologna! He was very respectful of my wish and very helpful without being over bearing and high pressure. Within a couple of scenarios I had my target price and closed the deal with a handshake and a deposit. When I came back to pick up my car it was the shortest and easiest procedure ever with EVERYTHING prepared and my car cleaned, washed and ready upfront. The quickest and most enjoyable car purchase in my 40+ years of car shopping and purchasing! I was out of there in less than an hour! Both Will and Ken were delightful individuals.

My purchase started out very smoothly. There was no high pressure sales pitch, no hidden fees and a very friendly staff throughout. There was a hitch when we found out that I could not get the car I originally wanted. However, since this occurred after we had a handshake deal the dealership found me another car that was newer (2016 versus 2015) and made me a very similar deal on the newer car. In the end I am very happy with the deal and would return again. Melinda.....two thumbs up.

An enjoyable experience from start. Experienced a no hassle test drive. Agreed on purchase of 2016 Pilot, placed the order, advised it would take about 8-weeks, Alex kept in touch let us know when vehicle made it through manufacturing cycle, gave us the VIN so we knew vehicle was on its way.Alex shared all the financing and additional service options.... no hard sell. Vehicle was ready at agreed time for pickup, Alex again eased through the closing and Alex took the time to review operating features of the vehicle and provided introductions to Service Manager.Thanks for a pleasurable experience.

After purchasing 2 vehicles from a Honda dealership that was 3 miles from our home, I was very unhappy with the treatment we received. I drove 25 minutes to Ide and do NOT regret it for a minute. Gerry was extremely professional and took the time to quote me a price over the phone. Even better than that, he spent a great deal of time with me to make sure I understood how all the "bells and whistles" work in my CRV. Understand that I am a 66-year-old technically challenged woman. He told me to call him any time if I needed help. Be careful what you ask for! At 68, I've bought/leased my fair share of automobiles from various dealers in several states. Three years ago my wife and I had a remarkably positive leasing experience at Ide Honda in Rochester, NY. Being the grumpy old guy that I am, I figured it was a fluke. At lease end for both cars, we returned them to the dealership. Our salesperson was no longer there. So quite frankly, I prepped for the usual high pressure, sleaze routine more normative to my experience. I was dead wrong. And here's why: this dealership means what it advertises, a fair and honest experience. It trains sales people to rise above being jackals with each other and customers. Even when someone comes in with a chip or two on their shoulder, there's no recrimination. Our salesman, (Gerry) was outstanding. Within 3 days we leased two new Hondas. From the sales floor to the finance office, it was a courteous, competent, clear talking, no pressure experience. No fluke at Ide Honda far as I'm concerned. Just want to recommend Ide Honda in Penfield, NY to others in the market for a new Honda. Our family was starting to look for a new minivan, and the "Happy Honda Deals" got us interested in looking at an Odyssey. I submitted a request for information online and the next day our salesperson Brad contacted me, and said they had a bunch in stock and he'd let us test drive one if we wanted. The whole process was very stress and hassle-free. Brad even suggested a creative way to save some money by adding an aftermarket DVD player instead of paying for the next "class" of Odyssey. Picking up the van was easy and quick, no gimmicks or hidden tactics. Upon getting the van home, I noticed a stone chip in the hood. I contacted our salesperson and he assured me they would take care of it.Sure enough they did, they replaced the hood completely to my satisfaction free of charge. I'd highly recommend Ide Honda for their low pressure sales and the customers' interests at heart.

This was my first time purchasing a new car, and this was by far the most friendly and inviting dealership I had visited. They were not pushy and understood I was not pressed for a new car, but rather was looking to upgrade. I traded my car in for a very fair price, and they also gave me a very good deal on a 2015 Honda Accord Exl-V6 that was on the showroom floor. All the paperwork was straightforward and easy, and they handled everything on the trade in of my previous vehicle. I would definitely recommend Dick Ide to friends and family as doing business with this dealership was a pleasure. Based on my purchase experience I will most likely be loyal to the Honda brand and Dick Ide specifically for years to come.

After being at another honda dealer in the area and being very discouraged with their price we stopped at Dick Ide honda an our way home. We told Malinda Pagliuso what we were looking for a silver crv. She said they had one and the lease price was 309 a month nothing down. We were going to look at a subaru but decided not to bother and leased the crv. We were in and out 45 min. When we picked the car up 2 days later Malinda to a good amount of time to explain all the features and pair up my wifes cell phone to the car. One of easiest car buying experiences we have ever had. We will be back for another honda when our lease is up. P.S love our new crv.

Worked with a lovely young woman, Melinda, who was thorough and pleasant in showing me the cars I was interested in. There was no pressure whatsoever, no hard sell at all. When I decided on the make and model I wanted, she did her prep work before I returned to the dealer and had all necessary information for me. I had collision work done on my sliding door at Dick Ide. Well my door handle and window stoppedworking. I brought the car to service and explained all this . They replaced two clips at $10.24 PLUS $115.00 labor. I told Jim twice that the collision work and door problem had to be related and he should run it by the service manager, he refused and said the parts wore out. IT'S A 2012 with electric doors, How can the handle wear out? I also had my heated seat fixed $230.00 labor / $61.31 parts. ***Mark the service manager contacted me the next day , he found out about my unhappy serviceexperience with Jim and made things right*** Always insist on talking to the service manager. I was given a loaner car but never was told it would take 5 days to fix.

This is the third Honda I've owned. An '84 Civic was purchased from a private owner, while my '89 Accord came from Ontario Honda. On September 23, my Impala had been totaled and I was in need of another car. I looked around online and was leaning toward leasing a Honda. Ralph Honda? No previous dealings with them and they're on the other side of the city. Ontario Honda? No online leasing information was available and they are in Canandaigua....about thirty miles away. My niece suggested I check out Dick Ide Honda since she leased a Civic from them almost two years ago....so I did. On September 29th, I called her salesman, Paul Infantino, and left a message for him to please call me. Within an hour or so, we had talked and made arrangements for me to test drive an Accord and sit down with him to talk about a lease. All I can say is that driving the Accord took me back to driving my other Hondas (which I loved driving...) and ironing out the details with Paul and Adam Weil was relaxed and enjoyable. They were straight-forward and respected my choices as to what I could afford and might choose as add-ons. The next day I took delivery of a 2015 Honda Accord LX. After the paperwork was done, Paul sat in the car with me to give me a basic overview of the many features on the dashboard. Did I tell you that Paul had been up since 4am, came to the dealership to specially deliver my car at 4pm and was leaving within 24 hours on vacation? Thanks to the people who detailed my car, other people in the dealership, and special appreciation goes to Paul and Adam for being so welcoming and getting me back to driving one of my favorite cars!K. I had several calls to my salesman Joe Preteroti and although he never met me he answered then or returned my calls. Because of his professional courtesy on the phone it prompt me to go see the vehicle we had spoken about. I live a little over 2 hours away which wasn't in the dealerships favor,not their fault. When I got there I was warmly greeted by the receptionist. Joe had never seen me before but was expecting me and came over. Joe was friendly and immediately responded to our discussions on the phone. Within 15 minutes I felt at home and made the deal then. I had to speak to Ken who is the financial consultant for loans, and he as well went overboard for me. I will return to this dealership mostly because I was treated with respect.

I purchased a Honda CRV from Ide Honda and just wanted to say how helpful and accommodating the staff is. A special mention to Adam Well who went above and beyond! My license plates were accidentally not transferred to my new vehicle. Adam came to our house with the plates, and then spent a good deal of time answering questions that my husband (who was not able to be at the dealership earlier) had about the new car. This took place at at very busy end -of - year promotion time frame. Adam couldn't have been nice when coming to fix the situation. Also want to thank Doug McCarthy who sold me the car as stress - free as it could possibly be.

I just picked up my 2nd CRV from Ide and am delighted with the car. Brad made the purchase of the car hassle free and made my wife and I feel very comfortable. Dick Ide sent me messages and mail card that my air bag parts were available - Took time off from work to get repair done but upon arrival was told parts were not there.....probably used for another airbag replacement. Please note, I called to confirm this appointment with parts notification!Said they replaced the passenger side but hard to believe looking at dash. Nothing was accomplished since I have to wait for parts and reschedule another 1.5 hour appt.Your parts/ service systems are not aligned and reliable and cost me time and money...fix your internal issues for the next customer(not me). I also had a $600 estimate to schedule my timing belt and water pump replacement but this will not be done by you after this experience.

This dealership truly gave me a great deal; and believe me, I did LOTS of exhaustive research and information gathering before I even walked in the door. I knew the product inside out, and Brad didn't disappoint with his knowledge of the product trim lines, options, pricing, etc. He and the finance experts I dealt with (Adam and Ken), explained everything...all the fees, financing options, and options for extended warranty, etc., in plain English, without of hint of dealer jargon, or doubletalk...just the straight dope. I saw Bob (service) and knew him from the dealership that I bought my last Honda from. Ide Honda won me over as a new customer (and apparently him as a new employee). It was relaxed, with no pressure, and all questions were answered directly and to the point. Rich Ide stopped by to make sure everything was going smoothly. Nothing hidden here....and, it was actually a fun experience.

I stopped in to Dick Ide Honda about a month prior to leasing to test drive a vehicle and get more details on the leasing process as I was unsure if I wanted to go through with the leasing. I left with all my questions answers and numbers about my payments ran. About a month later, I decided leasing that brand car was what I was looking for. I became in a unique situation where I needed a car quick so I emailed Brad one evening and was shocked to see such a quick response. We began emailing back and forth about the car I wanted to lease and we set up a phone appointment to get he ball rolling. I was very appreciative that Brad was willing to begin the process via a phone call as I work full time - this was truly a lifesaver. The following Monday, I went over to Dick Ide and met with Brad in person to complete the lease deal and walked out with a set of brand new keys. Brad's compassion and care for his customers made my experience above and beyond what I expected. I was in need of a new car that was safe and reliable for my daughter and I. I have always been a Honda fan and was referred to Brad over at Ide Honda. I made an appointment with him and met with him at 2pm on a Saturday. I brought my 3 year old with me. Brad was more then accommodating to us both. Was very professionally poised and extremely kind. He knew what I was looking for and what I could afford and not once tried to sway me to get more then I needed. I was in and out with in an hour! By Tuesday I handed him the keys to my old vehicle and drove away in a brand new Honda Civic! Adam in Finance knew my credit wasn't perfect and truly came through for me as well! I will forever be a Ide Honda customer! My now 3 year old will be getting her first car from them in 13 years or so.

We started our search for a vehicle at another Honda dealership. Discovered the vehicle we wanted, features we were looking for, and color we wanted. The vehicle wasn't available on the lot and the trade-in offer was way low-balled. Told the sales manager what we wanted for our trade and he pressed us with " If I give you that for your car, you will buy here today?" Response: "you don't have the car we were looking for on your lot." We left and scheduled an appointment to return the following weekend. No car ever was found.Went to another Dealer in Canandaigua with an appointment to see vehicle we wanted that was in stock. When we arrived our salesperson was not ready for us. When he finally came over he informed us that he was off the day before and the car we wanted was sold. But, he had other cars on the lot we could buy! 1 car, wrong color. We questioned why he wasn't aware the car was sold and didn't bother to call us as it was a 45 minute drive each way to get there. Ridiculous offer for a trade in value. Then we went to Ide! We met Jose Santa and explained what we were looking for. We told him previous dealer did offer to look for a vehicle but would probably have to order the car which since it was a new model it would be 6-8 weeks to get in. He assured us that our vehicle could be obtained in the state in a few day as inventory showed. We worked with him on our trade which was almost exactly what we asked. No pressure, no BS, honest, friendly, helpful salesman. All around great experience with sales, finance, delivery, & preparation of vehicle and programing of phones. We will definitely shop there again and have already referred several people.

I would like to commend Mike Monachino/Mark Frey for their excellent customer service on my recent visit to IDE Honda.I came in for service on June 3rd and was advised that there was a communication problem concerning the service I needed, after Mike recognized my disappointment, without my knowledge consulted with Mark Frey, your service manager and they came up with a solution to my disappointment. (thanks to both) I have been in the Honda family for several years, i.e. 1989 Accord, 1995 Accord, 2009 CRV, my wife has a 2002 Civic and my son purchased a 2009 Civic SI. Mike was thorough, knowledgeable, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. (ditto for Mark Frey) I would highly recommend Mike/Mark to anyone visiting IDE Honda.

I submitted a question and was initially only looking for a quote on a Civic SI Coupe. I had originally been intending to wait for another year to pay off my current vehicle before getting another.However, Brad's transparency and forthcoming nature, as well as his quick responses, enabled me to make a decision much sooner. There was no upsell, no push or pressure, I knew exactly what I wanted and he answered questions exactly as they were asked. I work in sales, I've worked in retail, and I hate pushy salesmen. None of that to be seen here.Up until picking up the car, my interactions with Brad were strictly through e-mail and phone. I appreciated his friendly demeanor and firm handshake when we finally met face to face at the dealership. He talked up the new car quite a bit--I almost wonder if he were more excited about it than I was.Four stars on price, as I could not negotiate them down any. As such, I had to take remove a couple of the options that I had been considering in an ideal build. Options are options though, and to their credit, the price I was offered was the cheapest around.Ken was as clear and concise as he could be when informing me of all the legal information and when signing papers. He too was transparent, keeping me in the know of all the figures and exactly what I was signing for. He very deliberately took me through all that my warranty and protection package would cover, offering an upgrade at a modest price, which he was completely understanding of when I declined.Very, very favorable experience, especially for my first new car. I had stopped in on a Thursday night, with only one question in mind, "What can I get for my trade?" Joe Preteroti was the sales man I was lucky enough to have had introduce himself to me when I walked in. Joe right out of the gate made me feel like I wasn't just another "sale" he asked me what brought me in and when I told him it was just to see what I could get for my trade, he kindly said, "No Problem" he was able to get an answer for me with in 15 minutes of being there. I thanked him, he gave me his card and told me to contact him if I thought of any other questions. I came back the next day and was able to sit with Joe again. This time I had asked to test drive the CR-V and again with very little waiting he had a car for me to drive. When I came back from the test drive, I sat with Joe and asked him if he could have a manager give me a final amount on my trade and what a monthly payment would be. He came back with all of my questions answered. I was Sold, not just on the car itself but on how stress free Joe made the whole experience. I was able to pick my new car up Sat and was on my way. Thank you Joe for everything. I would also like to thank Ken Neufeglise for how quickly I was able to get my paperwork done and the car financed.

There are two reasons I highly recommend Ide Honda: the first is the way we were treated and the second is the deal they gave me. Brad met us as soon as we arrived and from the moment we introduced ourselves he treated my husband and me with courtesy and respect. I could not have been more grateful! He was professional and extremely knowledgeable. He completely made this a different car buying experience than ever before. They also gave me a great price for a new CRV and Ashley was very helpful in in explaining loan options. I have had a lot of stressful and bad experiences when it comes to buying a car. This was my first time purchasing a car from Ide Honda and it was a breath of fresh air. From the moment I walked through the door I felt at ease. Everyone was very friendly and not pushy or in my face at all. My decision to get a new car came very abruptly and in less then 24 hrs I was driving away in my new to me 2013 Honda Civic! I was able to test drive a few cars, that were actually in my price range I could afford. At no time was I pressured to make a decision or to go for a more expensive car. My Sales Rep Gerry Lamb was friendly and very understanding to my needs and what I was able to do. When I got the call that I had been approved I was so happy and the financial manager that called me, Adam Weil, was friendly and patient to my being so excited and a little scatter brained! They told me they would have the car ready at 1:30 for pick up that day. When I got there they sat down and went over everything with me, Gerry even came out and explained all the new features I had and how to use them. Which I needed because I was upgrading from a 2003 Honda Civic! This experience was all around a fun and great experience and I will definitely go back there when it is time for another new car or when I need service on my car!

I took my van to get an oil change. While I was there, Jim's team noticed something wrong with the sway bar. They were able to replace it right then and there and it only added a few minutes to my service. i cannot begin to explain how stressful it was looking for a used Honda. We'd been to so many places and left disgusted. Dealers lied to us. It was just very stressful. That is until we saw an ad for a used Civic at Ide. Wow, it was like night and day! Our salesman, Jose Santa, was friendly, honest and followed through on everything he said he would do. He made it an actually enjoyable process. On the day of delivery, Rich Ide came out to say hi to us. He was warm, welcoming and funny. I woukd and will recommend them to ANYONE looking for a vehicle. My daughter was looking for a Honda Fit. The car was not available in their lot. We were told it was supposed to be on a truck that had been expected on the 18th. We were also told if we didn't want to wait they would drive over and pick one up at the nearest location--Buffalo. As of the 25th, the car still either did not get delivered or was sold out from underneath us. We subsequently learned there were at least 5 of these vehicles available at other dealerships in Rochester. Everyone we dealt with was not customer friendly. During this week, our salesman had a day off. No one else helps customers if your salesman is not in. Instead you have to talk to him on his day off, which does not make for a happy person, not that I blame him. I have tried to purchase vehicles from Dick Ide a few times in the past and their customer service was poor then too. One time I walked in and stood there for 10-15 minutes and NO ONE approached me. I was ready to purchase and bought elsewhere too. We went to Garber Honda, they were very friendly and went out of their way to help us They beat Dick Ide's deal and she had the car the same day. I wish I had gone there first.

I was in a lease with Nissan and I wanted to try and end the lease early due to over mileage. I knew that I eventually wanted the 2015 Honda Accord EX-L, but I needed to see what my options were to terminate my lease and switch to Honda. I went to Ide Honda on Saturday, January 10th to find out how I would go about this process. I worked with James Brodsky who could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable and professional. James made the entire process absolutely seamless and never tried to up-sell to increase my cost. He walked me through all the steps I needed to take to turn in the Nissan early and made the entire transaction easy for me in order to begin my new lease with Honda. 3 days later I drove off in my new Accord EX-L and couldnt be happier. James thoroughly went through all the features and set up everything in the car the way I wanted it. I will not work with any other dealership or salesman in the future. I am now a loyal Ide Honda customer and I highly recommend James Brodsky to anyone looking for a Honda!

I've purchased at least three Accords from Ide Honda - you'd think I'd remember if it were three or four, but I know they are the only Honda dealer that got my business! I've had them do nearly all the service, including the recommended maintenance intervals. I've dealt with other dealers over the years, but haven't gone out of my way to return to them. Overall, from the buying process through ongoing service, they've dealt fairly with me and provided good value. The only reason to hold back on 5-stars for price is my own skepticism about price/cost awareness across the industry. My most recent purchase experience was probably the most relaxed, despite the urgency in which I had to make a decision (my previous Accord was totaled) and the craziness that accompanies the holiday season. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others.

My experience at Ide Honda, working with Will Galliher and Joe Allbright, was fantastic. I was tossed, unexpectedly, into a situation requiring me to get a new car as soon as possible. I knew I'd be car-shopping soon, but not this soon. So going into it I was already a bit overwhelmed.Will and Joe talked candidly with me, they outlined my options with no pressure one way or another. They answered my questions...and continue to do so as I learn the ins and outs of my new Honda Fit. I left the dealership feeling like this was the absolute right move at the right time. I could not be happier with my new car and from whom I bought it. This is not my first car purchase and when I left other dealers in the past, I felt like the deal was done and they'd washed their hands of me, on to the next person. I don't feel that at all from Joe or Will. I feel absolutely confident I could call or text them with a question in two days, two weeks or two months and they would gladly help me. Until this week, I hadn't purchased a new car in almost 25 years. With a 15 year old SUV and a 16 year old Z3, it was time for something new. (Yes-I want a vehicle that will last!) A friend recommended Ide Honda. Brad Constantino was great to work with. Very knowledgeable about the vehicles, and listened to me about what I wanted in a car. Full size SUV was too big and I was tired of driving them (my first was a 1991 Explorer). My 2 seater BMW was fun, but too small to be practical. Brad suggested I look at the Honda Crosstour. I had never even HEARD of the Crosstour! It is perfect!! In the last 4 days, everyone I've shown this car to, is planning on looking at the Crosstour for their next car. Spacious. Powerful (V-6)! Aggressive looks. VERY classy interior. Plenty of easy access cargo room with the lift-back. All the bells and whistles at a much better value than the small SUV's/crossovers from BMW, Lexus, Lincoln, Ford etc etc. Paperwork is the only part of buying a new car that generally isn't "fun", but Adam Weil made the it relatively easy and painless. I left with the feeling they are really buttoned-up on the details at Ide. I will highly recommend Ide Honda to my friends, and grateful that my friend recommended Ide to me!

We had been to a couple of other dealerships and he was narrowing down his choices, On a last minute decision we went out to check out the Honda's at Dick Ide. We met with salesman Jose Santa, and the sales experience here was much more relaxed, and enjoyable compared to another places we had gone to. My son purchased his car that night, New Honda Civic SE.I had promised Jose that I would come to see him when I was ready to replace my car, and went back and purchased a new Honda Accord...Jose takes the time to understand what you need and can afford, and offers the options that work for you. I will definitely take my daughter here for her first car. For me this dealership is not close by, but I think it is worth the trip to check them out.

We visited Ide Honda with a certain set of criteria about what we wanted in a "new to us" car. Although the website did not show a car like we were looking for, Jose immediately suggested there was a car they were just getting ready to sell that might be just what we wanted. And it was! We took it for a test drive and were totally pleased with the car and we got a good price and trade-in for our old car. Jose was extremely helpful, showing us the features of the car, including how to set up bluetooth. A few days later he called to tell us that he had found an extra key for the car. Whenever we have a question, we are sure to get cheerful and efficient service from Jose.

She was very thorough with her knowledge of the vehicle I purchased. They have a great sales manager that you must meet. As we all know , the sales manager approves all deals. Roberto will make sure you drive away Happy.BTW. The service department treats their customers to ensure their satisfaction. They actually seem to be working for your repeat business. I can only comment on regular service appointments(oil changes,etc) . Honda's don't break down,lol (seriously) Knock on wood.I drive the pilot, wife drives the odyssey, the kids , who will not move out, drive civics.

It was time for my daughters first car. I made a point to visit local Honda dealer, Dick Ide, and was fortunate to meet Joe Preteroti. He was extraordinarily patient, thorough and very attentive to insure my daughter's questions and concerns were answered. After purchasing a Honda Civic from this dealership back in January 2014 for my college age daughter, we were finally able to get the first "free oil change and tire rotation at 5900 miles on Veterans' Day, November 11th. We called three times to try to schedule the service throughout the year to no avail, we had to wait until the service light came on, they were adamant. It finally did and I had an appointment for 9 AM on November 11th and told the appointment would take about 1 hour and 40 minutes. I arrived around 8:40 and did the typical drop off process. I waited in the waiting area and next thing you know after about 35 minutes my car was ready. At check out I was told I owed $149. I was a little shocked; the service rep started explaining, in detail, that they performed the 7500 mile service, which included doing something to the breaks. I did not realize that I agreed to the service because it was not explained to me and a price was not given to me prior because I would have called my husband to see if the service was actually needed. I paid and told my husband who was very upset because the service did not need to be done at 5900 miles. The bottom line is that they were adamant about the miles for the "free" oil change and tire rotation but not so adamant about the 7500 mile service. After discussing this with the service manager they refunded me $60 but I ended up paying $90 for something that was not needed or explained to me. My husband also checked the breaks and they had not been adjusted or cleaned and they did not top off all the fluids, which was supposed to be included. They did change the oil because there was oil spillage and the tires were rotated.

I bought the 1999 Honda Accord in Dec. 1999 and it had around 6500 miles on it(assume a sales demo car). When I went to pick it up the cruise control was not working so I had to take it back to the dealer for repair(not a good sign for customer service or quality). Since that time I have spent over $10,458 for service at Dick Ide and most of the time I go in there I am made to feel like I'm imposing on them to spend money for repairs. I have taken the car for "express" oil changes and waited over 1 and 1/2 hours. I was told that oil changes were free for the life of the vehicle but received a bill most recently for the oil change, 5/28/2014. I was informed that the bill was going to be $170.00 and I interpreted it as total bill. According to Ide rep, it was for the replacement only of the left and right links. Oh well, so much for free oil changes and customer service understanding..... When the service rep quotes you a price I assume that is the total bill.I have been in the service business for over 22 years and have a sense for good customer service. I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere for a Honda car or service. I will be servicing my car in the future, elsewhere. Am disappointed in their customer service. If you are concerned about customer service go elsewhere....... Good luck.

I highly recommend Dick Ide Honda -- at every point, I felt respected and valued. There is no need to show up with a defensive mindset. There is no hard selling or hidden fees or last minute surprises. I was very pleased with my experience at Dick Ide Honda. I never felt pressured, in fact just the opposite, to get a vehicle. My salesperson, Joe Allbright, did a great job in finding me a vehicle that suited me and didn't try to upsell me to something I didn't need. I love my 2011 CR-V and feel that I got an great price on it. The service staff and financial staff were great as well. I would recommend this dealership to all of my family and friends!

I started my Dick Ide journey 3 years ago when I was looking for a reliable vehicle for my family and most importantly my children. I leased a 2011 Honda Odyssey minivan for myself. The salesman was very nice and the service was great. I truly loved my Odyssey, it was stylish, comfortable, reliable and most of all safe for my children to ride in. It was a beautiful vehicle. I was proud to be a Dick Ide customer, knowing that my license plate holder read "Dick Ide In Penfield" I was glad to support such a great name in vehicle sales.Most recently I have renewed my lease with a new 2014 Honda Pilot, and I was helped by salesman Joe Allbright. He was a great guy, and very nice to work with. He answered all my questions and was very helpful. He is someone I will recommend my friends and family to see if they are interested in buying or leasing a Honda. I enjoyed coming back to Dick Ide for my regular maintenance for my Honda Odyssey and regular oil changes. I felt that Melinda was helpful in allowing us to fully process our decision as we not only needed the car for my wife and myself, but now also for our daughter who will be driving it as well. I am not the easiest person to help find a car. My credit is less than ideal, and I do not look good on paper. But when I sat down with Brad at Dick Ide, he was very open and honest with me about what kinds of options I have. Being a female, it's difficult to be taken seriously in the automotive world, as people either think you're uneducated in what you're looking for, or try to take advantage of you. After sitting down with Brad and Adam, they explained every step of the process and pulled some strings to get me into a pre owned vehicle, at which I was ecstatic! They needed a day or so to process paperwork, and the next thing I knew, I was actually getting a brand new 3013 Honda Fit. My jaw was on the floor! I went in the next day to finish paperwork, and picked my car up the day after. The entire process took less than a week, and I cannot say enough great things about my experience. Brad went above and beyond helping me, and Adam as well. They were both honest, straightforward, and overall wonderful! I'd like to say I'll be back soon to purchase my next car, but they got me so well situated with mine, that I doubt I'll need to see them for a very long time! Took my car to Ralph Honda and they "fixed" it but only for a week. Car stopped working at a very busy light and had to be towed. I bought and deal with Dick Ide so towed there. Linda was exceptional. When a loaner car was available she went out of her way to come get me at work and take me to Dick Ide as I did not have a ride there. She also went out of her way to get me a very good price for the repair by calling the local rep. I am very happy with Dick Ide's service and Linda!

The overall experience of car buying at Dick Ide was very good. We had been a little leery about buying from Dick Ide because of other peoples experience with them a long time ago. Fortunately this doesn't seem to be case now but the true test will come when we need to use their service department.We dealt with Brad Constantino and he was very good. We were pleasantly surprised when he didn't accompany us on our test drive. Brad was very knowledgeable about the car line and he wasn't overly aggressive to sell us a car. When we picked up the car it was in excellent shape and Brad took his time in explaining the features of the vehicle and even did the phone Bluetooth pairing for us. Even after the sale Brad kept in touch to make sure we were happy with the vehicle and that we didn't have any issues.At this time I would recommend Dick Ide Honda for a new car. I just leased a 2013 Honda Civic for my high school daughter. I picked it up in the evening of 1/2/14. The very next morning we went out to start it and the doors would not unlock. After numerous tries with all three keys we were able to open the front passenger door and start the car. After a few minutes we tried to get in to move the car so we could shovel our driveway. The doors auto locked because the driver's side was never unlocked. The car ran for close to an hour before I was able to open the doors, with the exception of the driver's door. I called the dealership and explained the situation and they told me to call roadside assistance. I stated that I had not even had the car for 12 hours yet. They said there was nothing that they could do because they did not own it anymore. Too make a long story short, the new car has been back to the dealership a total of three times, to include twice today (1/7/14). It is there now and we have a loaner with a half a tank of gas which my husband was told to make sure it is filled to the same level as when it was received, never mind my tank was full before the three trips to their dealership for an issue that should have been fixed if they did a proper pre-delivery inspection (PDI). I have had to miss work twice and my daughter was left stranded on 1/7/14 in the bitter cold and in a dark parking lot...not safe at all. UPDATE: I feel after going back and forth a couple of times with Mr. Ide and seeing that he really cares about his business, and how customers are treated, I would recommend this dealership for anyone looking for a Honda. I guess what happened to us was not the norm. I appreciate the way Mr. Ide went above and beyond to make right what happened. He filled our gas tank, washed the car and even offered to pay the first payment, which I graciously declined. Overall my experience could have been a lot better but in the end it was all good.

We made an appt to test drive 2 vehicles, when we arrived the vehicles were pulled out in front, running & waiting, all warmed up for us. These had more features than we were looking for so Brad set-off to find what we were looking for. Melinda knew exactly what would appeal to me and what would work with my budget. I told her what I wanted as my monthly payment and that I wanted AWD and satellite radio and decent miles per gallon. When i arrived to test drive "as many cars as we want to," Melinda said, "I warmed up this recent trade I just took in because it'd be perfect for you." Brad was my guy and was thorough, knowledgeable and patient throughout my decision-making process. I will never buy or lease another car that is not a Honda! Mr. Constantino converted me into a Honda lifer. His salesmanship was friendly and professional. His expertise and knowledge of his product were beyond my expectations in a car salesperson. In the past I have always dreaded when the time came to replace my vehicle. The entire experience from when I walked into the door to the time I drove off the lot was actually fun. He was very clear and accurate when describing the vehicle and the terms. When it came time to sign the papers there were no surprises or hidden fees. I felt that I was getting and honest and valuable deal. SERVICE WITH A SMILE AND THE EXTRA MILE!Scheduled my new car to have body side door molding installed. It was mistakenly arranged for a time, that upon arrival, I learned is not typically scheduled. Instead of making me return...I live almost an hour away, Billy Thompson voluntarily stayed past his shift and installed the moldings. He did it with a smile and Linda treated me like a queen. I even explained, that it was ok and I'd return, that it wasn't a big deal. However, Linda said, "We treat you like family here at Dick Ide" and I truly felt like it. Thank you Billy and Linda. I purchases two cars from Dick Ide Honda in the past and it seemed natural to shop there again for new car. I dealt with a very nice and knowledgeable salesperson who put a price together for the new car and it seemed reasonable. However, there were fees that seemed strange, like a $45 registration fee for free oil changes and a rewards card that didn't seem to be of any value although they were putting $250 on it at the time of purchase. I couldn't understand why I would need to "register" with the dealership that was selling the car. I didn't understand why I would get a $250 rewards card that could only be spent on the dealership and only a small percentage was allocated for service costs. These things didn't make sense and no one seemed to offer an honest explanation for any of it so I thought it best to check out at least one other Honda dealership in the area. I was offered the exact same car and the same interest rate for financing but no free oil changes or registration fees or rewards cards. The price of the car was less than that offered to me at Dick Ide Honda. I called Dick Ide Honda and asked to speak with the sales manager, hoping that he would be willing to work with me on the price. What a huge mistake!!! Mark McAfee was brutally rude to me and it was embarrassing to be spoken to that way. When I asked about the fees and the difference in the price from Dick Ide to the other dealership, specifically asking if the difference was due to the free oil changes and the rewards card, Mr. McAfee told me that he was in the business to make a profit and if the other dealership offered me that price I should take it. And I did. Not because of the price difference, which in the end was only $840, but because I was treated so poorly by Mr. McAfee. Instead of telling me why I should stick with Dick Ide for my new car purchase even if I had to pay a bit more, he told me to go buy elsewhere. Wow!! I am still stunned by this.

This will be my third Honda (specifically the Civic) that I have leased through Dick Ide. The last two I was lucky enough to work with Brad, and will continue to do so! During the last leased car-Brad ALWAYS made it a point to greet me, even if I was just there for an oil change. A couple months ago while getting my car serviced-he was excited to show me all the improvements and extra features in the 2013's. He was aware that my lease was ending soon and told me there was a sale coming up and that it would be the ideal time to change over! Absolutely phenomenal experience: Kent is, literally, the best car sales person I have ever dealt with! He bent over backwards to ensure my process was quick and efficient. While picking up my vehicle my wife asked him about swapping out her 2011 Element for a new Accord and we walked out with two cars for only $200 more than what had previously paid for one vehicle. The sale of my Pilot took a whopping 30 minutes and then Kent walked me completely through how to operate all of the electronics...including linking my phone and adding in all of the speed dials. He also clearly reviewed all of the safety features of the vehicle.To top it all off Kent called the members of my family by name and even used my nick names for them! He did all of this with an infectious smile and positive attitude throughout. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! If you're looking for a Honda in Rochester, steer AWAY from Garber and go straight to Dick Ide and deal with Kent!

After 3 days of being frustrated with car shopping, salesman acting arrogant and pushy, and even having a sales person from a Chevrolet dealership just leave me to look at cars by myself and saying if I needed anything to let the receptionist know...after I had shared I needed help. I was so discouraged that I posted on Facebook for a recommendation for a honest salesperson who people trusted and was helpful. Several times Brad Constantino's name and Dick Ide Honda was given, so I decided to go to Dick Ide Honda and meet with Brad and I have to say it was one of the best decisions I ever made! He listened to me, worked with me to make sure I had the right car to fit all my equipment for my job in the trunk, and worked with me to get out of my current loan and into a lease on a new Honda Civic. I then worked with Adam Weil for the leasing agreement and that was all done and said in about 15 minutes! I felt heard, and supported in my car leasing experience and would recommend to everyone to call Dick Ide or stop by to work with Brad and Adam for their new, used or lease car needs! I was very pleased with my experience at Dick Ide. Brad took the time to work with me on the phone and in person. When he thought that the appointment we had scheduled one evening would be tight, he called me to ask if I could come 1/2 hour later so there would be no chance of me needing to wait. I really appreciated that. He also helped me after the sale when there was some confusion with Hoda Finance. He had resolved the problem within an hour of receiving my email asking for assistance. Brad met us at the door with a smile and asked how he could help us. We told him that we were lookingfor a new car, possibly a Honda Odyssey. He show us a floor car and pointed out the features. Then he offereda test drive out the dealership and a circle that involved some highway travel. The car was smooth and quiet.It was very similar to the Chrysler Town and Country I've been driving for the last nine years. The lease on my Honda civic was about to expire and I had to do something about my transportation. I knew exactly where I was going and who I was going to see to purchase a new car. After the 3 year term on my lease and hundreds, if not thousands, of customers later I walked into Dick Ide and Jon Farmen immediately saw me and remembered my name, what I did for a living, where I worked... Everything! It was as if those long three years had never passed. Now THAT'S customer service. Jon let me test drive anything I wanted to take out. And being so picky it wasn't just one. And while I was out on a test drive he crunched the numbers and had all the information I wanted on every car I was looking at when I got back. He knew that's how I liked to do business and he was right on top of it. He even went with us for one of the test drives just to spend more time with us. That proves dedication to his customers. I decided on a car and had made arrangements to pick it up the following weekend. I spent the whole weekend debating if I wanted an LX or EX. I came to the decision that I was going to go for the EX... After originally telling Jon I wanted the LX. He had done the paperwork and numbers and I signed all of them... Then Monday morning he had a voicemail waiting for him telling him I wanted to upgrade if it was possible. He made it possible! He found the EXACT car I wanted. Right down to the color of the interior. All in a few hours! It's like he pulled my dream car out of thin air! That same Monday night - after making Jon put together all new paperwork for the different car - I drove away with my new Honda Civic EX. All because Jon spent his day pulling everything off for me. His initiative and determination blew my mind. I completely threw him for a loop and he never even batted an eyelash. I thought leasing the civic three years ago was easy... This time around he made it completely effortless! All I had to do was sign papers and drive my car away. He even took care of insurance and registration. He is amazing! As long as he employed at Dick Ide I will be a customer for life!!

Mr Brodsky was very professional and kind, dealerships need more people like him. We looked at the Honda Civic a week earlier and had just begun our search. James was not pushy, nor did we feel any pressure to put a deposit down. We looked at cars for at a few other dealers who were overbearing and made us feel very uncomfortable. We even put a deposit down on one at a different dealer for another Honda Civic. . When we went to the other dealer in Henrietta to have my deposit refunded, I was treated terribly. We went back to Dick Ide and purchased the Honda Civic that we looked the week before. I would HIGHLY recommend going to Dick Ide. I got my first car EVER through Brad Constantino and Dick Ide Honda about three years ago and have experienced nothing but exceptional service, hence why I was back three years later to get another one! As soon as I was eligible to trade my car in, Brad kindly (and thankfully) e-mailed me to let me know. To me, this attentiveness was of great value because had he not contacted me, I would still be driving my 2010 Civic for a few more months instead of my new, beautiful and amazing 2013 Civic. Not to hate on the 2010, but the 2013 has exceeded my expectations by far and I am absolutely in love with it. Brad came with me for a test drive, helping me to get acquainted with the car and all of its new features. This helped immensely because when I picked up my car a few days later, I was familiar with how it worked. Brad made me feel comfortable, answering each and every one of the questions I asked, as silly as they probably seemed. He helped me choose which color car to get and for that I am grateful because I'd probably still be debating which color to get. All of the DMV and insurance work that comes along with buying a new car was done for me; all I had to do was sign on the dotted line a few times. Who knew getting a car could be so fun, easy, and quick? Brad contacted me a few days after I drove my car off the lot, asking me how my car was and that was greatly appreciated. This made me feel like he genuinely cared about my satisfaction. Honda has provided me with one great vehicle, but it is the Dick Ide dealership and Brad Constantino that have really won me over. They have provided me with a level of satisfaction, kindness, and customer service that has created, and will continue to sustain, a lasting relationship between us. I couldn't imagine buying a car from any other dealership or any other person. Rating them 5's across the board was earned and is well-deserved.

I just picked up a Civic last week, and this was easily the best dealership experience I've ever had. This is the first car I've purchased at Dick Ide (although I do use their service center for my other Honda), and it was a breeze. I had a specific car in mind, and the elapsed time, from when I'd walked in the building and met Alex, until Adam (Finance) was putting my name on the delivery board, was less than 30min. You just can't beat that. If these guys keep up this kind of service, they're going to be the Wegmans of car dealerships. I can't recommend them enough. Just a friendly and positive atmosphere all around.

I had better experience at this dealership then when I bought my Lexus! Everyone was very friendly and very professional, but Joe truly understood my needs and tried to accommodate them as much as possible. I was initially communicating with him through e-mails. Not only he was very prompt with responses, he would respond to my e-mail even the days he was not working. Then when it came to time to buy my 2013 Odyssey, he knew we were in time constraints, so he tried to get us out as soon as possible while taking care of everything. I purchased a 2012 CRV last Aug. and love it! My sales person - Joe Allbright was just great. When I purchased the car, Joe went over every feature with me. I even had to call him after I got home that day because I could not find the trunk release! At that time, my cell phone was not blue tooth compatible. Four months after I purchased a new cell phone and stopped in to see Joe. In 5 min. he had my new phone all set up in the car. Now I utilize blue tooth hands free. This may seem like a little thing - but this is an example of service after the sale. I know that I can call anytime and I will be taken care of quickly and with a smile. As a 44 year old woman, I have purchased many new and used vehicles in my lifetime. Purchasing a car has always been one of the most dreaded tasks as sales people are often pushy; use cheesy sales talk i.e. 'what do I need to do to get you in the seat of a car'; and don't forget the lovely price negotiation process. On 2/7, I found myself in a position where I needed a car quickly and decided to give Dick Ide Honda a try. I attempted to shop there 15 years ago and was treated like a second class citizen (although I can assure you, I make more money than that sales person did). I have seen the commercials recently and have been given the impression that they have changed their business model. I arrived late on a Thursday evening and was greeted by a polite, respectful young salesman. He asked me what I wanted and let me look through options that were available. He asked me thoughtful questions but was not pushy nor tried to sell me something I did not want. He was very knowledgeable about the two cars I test drove which was impressive since he had shared earlier that he had only been with the dealership for 4 months. When I told him that I couldn't come back into the dealership the next day but instead would have to talk over the phone regarding financing, etc, he didn't pressure me to close the deal that night. That was refreshing as usually the sales person doesn't want to let you leave for fear you will not purchase a car. He called me the next day at the exact time I asked. He worked around my schedule that day (as I had several meetings) and we were able to get the deal locked in over the phone. He met me the next day when I picked up the car and was polite and professional. This was by far, the best car buying experience I have ever had. Jose did a wonderful job and I would recommend him to others.

It seems to me that if you want to buy a Honda in Rochester you have a choice of a terrible place, an ok place, and an exceptional place. After careful shopping and research I chose to buy a 2013 Accord from Dick Ide Honda. I feel that their store is exceptional. They went above and beyond to make this the best experience I've ever had at a dealer ship. After the horrendous experience I had at one of their competitors, this was a breath of fresh air. Will greeted my wife and I with a smile and gave us the attention we wanted. We struck up a deal and I couldn't be happier with the car. There was a small problem with the tire pressure system a couple weeks after picking up the car. Their service got me right in and fixed it in a couple minutes. I had barely finished my free cup of coffee. I had never been a Dick Ide customer before, but as long as things continue like this I will be for a long time!

I brought my 2008 Accord in for inspection and oil change. I had been thinking about trading for a 2013 in a couple of months but saw an Accord Sport on the showroom floor and liked it. Mark, the sales manager, hooked me up with Brad Constantino, who was very low keyed, which is how I feel most comfortable. He didn't pressure me to add any options I didn't want (I had done my research already and knew what I wanted). They gave me a good price on my trade and, with other credits I had accrued (customer loyalty points, balance of unused extended warranty) the deal I got was quite acceptable. I have purchased vehicles from this dealership for years and have always been satisfied with the experience. The fact that their service department is top notch didn't hurt either.

When I think of buying a car,I cringe. It is one of my top least favorite things to do. I would imagine this is because I have never really had what I would consider to be, an enjoyable car buying experience. I was instantly at ease. I knew what I wanted and was very upfront and honest. I figured this approach couldn't hurt as I was done with the nonsense I had encountered at the other dealerships. They listened to my concerns and made it all happen. No fuss,no muss. No haggling or bargaining or the "let me go talk to the boss and see what I can do for you". It was beyond easy,I thought to easy! I was stunned. And oh so pleasantly surprised. Beginning to end,it was buy far the best car buying experience I have ever had. I went in with a pretty firm idea of what I wanted in a car and I had done a lot of research on Consumer Reports and other sites. I appreciated that Joe did not waste my time trying to upsell me a lot of things I didn't want or need. He definitely let me know all the options but I didn't want to spend a lot of money since I was basically buying this car unexpectedly (my previous Honda had been totaled). When I mentioned that a friend had recently bought a Honda Fit from them, Joe told me that I could get $100 off the price of the car for mentioning the referral. That was an unexpected bonus. Overall it was a very pleasant car buying experience.

I was recommended to this particular dealership by my mechanic, who told me that this was the place to buy a Honda, which is the "Why" I chose Dick Ide. One does not "choose" a salesperson. One isapproached by one. I bought my car at the end of the year, a busy time to be sure, and Brad and the other salespersons were busy. I gave the ratings that I did that despite all of the activity duringmy visits, I felt that I received the appropriate amount of attention. Of course we would all liketo be the only person in the showroom, but that's not realistic, nor desirable for the seller! So oneshares the salesperson with others and that's the way it is. This is a personal observation and byno means a complaint.I did feel some pressure to do a video, but since I was pleased with my purchase and the experience overall, I went along with it.

We have a 2007 Honda Odyssey and have always brought it to Dick Ide to have it serviced. We have been pleased with prompt service and easy scheduling. We believe that they are only providing services that are necessary or in the maintenance schedule. We are happy with Linda's help as service advisor. I just decided to write the review after our last visit for a NYS inspection on 11/30/12. On this day she did what she normally does; gets to us asap; gets us in and out in a timely manner; explains what needs to be done and then what was actually done; answers any questions we have. Thanks, Linda, and Dick Ide. We also appreciate that all of the service advisors are friendly when we walk in the door to drop off or pick up.

On 12/28/12, as I began to drive to work - which is 40 minutes from home, my steering wheel was shaking profusely. I turned the car around and headed to Dick Ide. When I arrived at the service area, Linda Freeman greeted me with a warm smile. Her friendliness, and knowledge of what could be wrong,(ice on tires)alleviated my initial concerns. After Linda took the time to test drive the car,(which turned out to be ice on the tires,)she stated that it would be a good idea for the car to be further inspected on the service lift. Linda's conscientiousness,and insights of the Accord's capabilities, helped to turn a negative situation into a positive one. Lastly, Linda further assisted my morning by ensuring that I left in a timely fashion, as my worksite is an hour away from the dealership.

I am just blown away by the great customer service I received from Linda Freeman at Dick Honda. I locked myself out of my car (ugh), so the first thing I did is call Dick Ide to see if I had a lock out service with my extended warrenty. I talked to Linda in the service department and I was told I did not have that type of service on my warrenty. I was told that I could get a key replacement from the service department, but I would need to get a ride out to Dick Ide. I had no way of getting out to the dealership at that time. Linda offered to get the key cut and she met me at my car. That is over and above service. I can't thank her enough! Cindy Latiuk

I have an '04 Odyssey and a '99 Subaru Outback, neither bought from Dick Ide. I have been coming to them for 6 years and have only had excellent service every time for both cars. They change my oil for free on the Honda, and always check the fluids, pressures and consumable parts for wear, and give me a full report when they're done. They are fast and on time, and always polite and friendly. I've had inspections done there and they've never "nickle & dimed" me to pass. Their prices are reasonable, and they look to find warranty coverage for any service first. I would definitely recommend them!

Once again, Linda helped me out. The inside passenger door on my 2005 Accord just recently would not open from the inside. The service dept. determined that it was because of the cable being cut by an after-market speaker installation done by a well-known tech store. Linda wrote up the repair being very descriptive about the damage and the dates and providing me with the cut cable as proof. She spoke with the tech store manager on my phone and she gave me extra copies of the repair order and previous service bills for my proof. Thank you for going the extra mile!

I bought my 2007 Honda accord I thought from a reputable place, I did not. I specifically asked about the brakes before buying the car. I was told it was certified and although I thought the price was too high I wanted a dependable car. Well I have had nothing but problems with my brakes. After having the car six months having issues with my brakes after I "serviced" them a month before. I brought my car in and received a phone call that I needed rotors and pads and it was going to cost me close to $500. I was shocked that they would charge me and had an argument with Linda. I ended up getting a one-time courtesy after she spoke with the manager. She accused me of aggressive driving and that's why my brakes were wearing out so fast. Well it turns out that the master brake cylinder was bad and I had been driving the car Dangerously after going there 3 times. Well now I have more problems with the brakes and I go in and of course I get Linda again and she starts off with how much its going to cost to have them even look at it, mind you I have the service rewards program. Well leaving close to hundred dollars later, they "unfroze my brakes", rotated my tires and replaced a vanity light. I still have problems with my brakes!! I am sick of hearing "get a real car" or "your brakes again! I also had Linda waving a booklet in front of my face saying Im not serving my brakes regularly and oh yeah you bought this car USED from us, and mind you I could of gotten a new Chevy Cobalt cheaper than this car. I still have to go back because they sold me the car with a heated seat problem and it was "fixed" already once. I spend too much of my time having to keep going back out to Penfield. And Linda let me know they were charging my Honda care $115.00 to even look at the seat! And they tired to make me feel like I got a deal leaving with bad brakes yet again...I am so over this car and hopefully I can trade it in when I go to a DIFFERENT Honda dealer!

My first visit was just exploratory because my lease was up. I got the information that I needed and came back the next day to drive the car and review of all the information about the car and the lease. I decided to go for it. I worked with Doug McCarthy and he was great. He answered all of my questions, sometimes two or three times, and I appreciated that he was very patient. I purchased a Honda Civic. One of the things I like is that it fits in my garage and it fits me -- I have a small one-car garage and I'm short, and this car works. Im also impressed with the fuel efficiency. I live in the area and drive past Dick Ide all the time, and it is a familiar name in the community. A trusted friend who had been in the car business told me that I would be fine at Dick Ide and they would take good care of me, so that was a good endorsement. I appreciate that everything at Dick Ide was very straightforward and very efficient.

I spoke to Mark McCaffery about a lease turn in. His attitude was horrible! Would not consider taking my Honda in because i didn't lease it from him. Even though the Honda Finance people said that I could turn it in at any Honda dealership in Rochester. I work about 100 yards from Dick Ide and was inquiring due to convenience. Mark would have NO PART of taking my car in. Just kept repeating that it was BUSINESS. Then asked if I had it serviced at Ide. When I said no because my daughters mom works in Henrietta, he said THEN I DEFINITELY WON'T TAKE IT IN. I returned my Honda to Garber today. They could not have been nicer and easier to work with. And by the way I did not lease another car either. I was very pleased with my Honda Civic and may purchase another in the very near future. Based on my experience at Garber and Rick Damico, I will definitely go there over Dick Ide. I will NEVER go to Dick Ide as long as Mark McCaffery is part of the sales management team. His attitude and willingness to help a Honda customer is PITIFUL. Nor would I EVER recommend Dick Ide to any friends or family as long as Mark McCaffery is there.

My experience there from start to finish was wonderful. I felt that they werent pushy with me when I came in the door. I knew what I wanted, they knew what I wanted, and they worked to take care of me and Im really happy for that. I purchased a 2006 Honda Accord. I have been hearing that it is a very reliable automobile and I like the moon roof in it, and so does my wife! When I took it for a test drive, I loved the way it drove. I needed a car that was going to last me going back and forth to work, and I heard Honda is the way to go, so thats the way I went. I worked with Melinda and I felt that she was very courteous. She went to work right away, she had the car ready when I got there and I didnt have to wait. She sent me on my test drive and was ready for me when I got back. I first heard about Dick Ide Honda from Beck on the Breakfast Buzz. I kept hearing him talk about the mileage he had on his vehicle. Looking for longevity, I called my mechanic and he had recommended the Honda Accord. So, I went to an Auburn dealership and I didnt think I was taken care of properly. I then called the Dick Ide Honda service manager Mark Frey and asked him about a car that I was going to purchase not even from there. I just felt that it was wonderful that he gave me every answer I needed to know. He wasnt pushy, but then transferred me to a salesperson incase they could help me out. I have to say that I really respect him for that, and how he told me how much he stood behind his vehicles. To me that means a lot. The oil changes for life and the maintenance program are great. If I had bought the car in Auburn, which I had intended at one time, I wouldnt have gotten any of that, I would have only gotten the Lemon Law. Now I get one year of maintenance, so if something does go wrong with my car I wont have to worry about it.

Dick Ide was really willing to work with me on my financial objectives and we nailed them! I bought a 2012 Honda Accord. I looked at two different Fords, a Focus and something else and I also looked at several Nissans. I love the Accord, it is a lot of car for a little bit of money. It is so classy, I bought a white one with a cream interior and it is a really sharp vehicle! I really liked Joe Allbright, he did a great job for me. My husband even came along and tried to play bad cop to my good cop but Joe did really good and worked hard. He brought a vehicle in all the way from Buffalo. It was all just for me and it made me very happy. That whole 'honing in on my financial objectives' was something that was completely different than other dealership that I went to.

I would say from the first phone call to Rick Damico, who was my sales associate, to when I left with the vehicle nothing could have been better! I challenged Rick to be efficient with my time, which he took very seriously, and he was. That means a lot to me. Just like Rick, Im busy and my time means a lot. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I bought a brand new 2012 Pilot. We compared several other SUVs and similar vehicles, and also researched through other media that compares vehicles, and we certainly concluded that the Pilot was on top. The Pilot has so many attributes that I cant pick one favorite. I love the space inside, we have a family of four and we fit very comfortably. There is also extra room for guests if we are going on a trip with more than just us. I also like the ground clearance because up here you have snow, and we wont have to be concerned with bottoming out at the end of the driveway. There are so many attributes that I really cant name them all! I have many friends and colleagues that have done business at Dick Ide and they highly recommended them. From start to finish my experience was spectacular, and you dont hear that a lot from many folks, as far as their dealership experience goes.

Where to begin.... When I purchased my 2006 Honda Civic, my salesmen was Adam. He was very nice, not at all pushy and actually gave me a reasonable deal on my car. Dick Ide didn't have the actual car I was looking for. Adam offered us the only remaining Civic they had. It had navigation that we didn't want but he took it off the price so we bought it. Since that time, I have had a number of horrid encounters with Linda in the service department. She is very rude and unprofessional as soon as you say you don't want the work done that she recommends. She is clearly a sales person at heart and seems that she would be happier on the sales floor then in the service department. Clearly she has no understanding of what Customer Service is. My husband and I are again looking at a new car. My mother-in-law recently purchased a CRV at another dealership so we thought we would look at it. The salesman we encountered was James Brodsky, he was not trained in the same sales school as Adam. My husband & I were very upfront and said we were just looking to get information and possibly test drive the car, but we were not looking to buy for at least a few months. He gave us a brochure and let us take a CVR for a drive. The car it self was nice, but not exactly a front runner. Perhaps my opinion was tainted by the terrible experiences I have had with the service department. When we returned from our test drive, James asked us to sit at his desk to get us a brochure and business card and we were appalled when he came back with his sales manager in tow. We were given the typical dealer sales pitch to get us to buy today. They pushed all the great things about Dick Ide and their great referral program. My response, funny my mother and father just bought a Civic a few months ago from Dick Ide, I never saw my referral bonus for that. He proceeded to assure me that if we bought our new car from Dick Ide, we would receive credit for their patronage. After that I vowed to never again buy a Honda at Dick Ide. Today we brought our car in for service. I sent an email about the dissatisfaction with the service department a few months back and was assured by the service manager that my poor experience was addressed with the staff and they would do what they could to make me a happier customer in the future. This was clearly never done. I again had Linda as my service advisor. She contacted us once the car was looked at giving me a laundry list of things that needed to be replaced/repaired. I listened to her and discussed that list with my husband along with the almost $1000.00 quote she gave me. When i told her we would have only 1 item fixed and get the others addressed elsewhere for a much more reasonable price, she began her sales pitch about the importance of getting the repairs done there with quality Honda parts. My response, if the parts are of such high quality, I would not have to replace my whole exhaust system on a car that was barely 6 years old. In conclusion, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere to purchase or service your vehicle. Clearly Dick Ide does not care about earning your business as they claim in their ads. I apologize for my very long winded statement, but you requested I give as much detail as possible.

There was never a moment when we didn't trust him to do that. I had my oil changed and tires rotated at another dealer. They commented on how poorly the tires had worn. My Pilot is only 6 months old and has 15k miles. They suggested taking it back to the dealer where I bought it - Dick Ide. I've purchased both of my current vehicles from Dick Ide. One Accord and one Pilot.I got a run-around from the service department. First, they suggested that they couldn't help me because I had my vehicle serviced away from their dealership. Then, I got the "it looks fine to us" story - It's just normal wear and tear. It is only 6 months old.So, I called the manufatcturer. They believe it is an issue. They said they would call Dick Ide for me and set up another appointment - probably within 24 to 48 hrs. After one week, still waiting for a call back from Dick Ide.After purchasing two new vehicles there. Thanks a lot.

I just had my first experience with the service department and all I can say is WOW! Jim was friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, accurate,and above all, HONEST WITH ME! I came in with a possible brake issue and not only did Jim tell me what was wrong, he did it in such a way that I didn't feel like I was being talked down to. (Being a woman, I have come across more than a few condescending mechanics in my days.) My brakes were fixed and the clunking noise I had was taken care of in a matter of 2 hours.I am MORE than satisfied with the service and the work that was done today and I have no qualms about bringing my car back in the future.

Other dealers around town publish a great price but when you call the price is HIGHER, how frustrating!!! Not here I walked out with my new car for the exact price that was published. Our lease for our 4th CRV was due to expire 23 April 2012. My wife and I had a bad experience with Dick Ide when we were looking for our first CRV in the early 2000's. The dealer never ordered our car and he was very difficult to work with. We swore we would never buy a Honda from Dick Ide.We stopped at Dick Ide just to look at the 2012 CRV. Rick Damico approached us in a very lowkey, friendly manner and asked if he could help us. To make a long story short, 4 hours later we were driving out in our new 2012 CRV, all due to Rick. He is one of the best car salespersons we have ever worked with. No pressure, very knowledgeable about the product and extremely customer oriented. There was no back and forth games to negotiate the final price. I am not sure if anyone enjoys buying a new car. Rick made it most pleasant.

But more impressive to me was when I explained to her that there seemedto be chips on my hood of my 2011 honda civic she explained she was not sure if it would be covered but would talk to service mgr - Mark Frey. He went above and beyond what I expected .He decided to correct issue as a 'good will jester '. I used to have a 2009 civic which I bought from another dealer. I had 4 separate damages to that car. I stopped into Dick Ide Honda to look at the new 2012 Honda Civics. Brad Constantino (my sales consultant) described the new features of the Civic: Vehicle Stability Assist and a ECON mode that optimizes the vehicle for maximum fuel mileage. A no pressure test drive was offered and a thorough review of the car was done. Brad spent 30 minutes with me reviewing all the features of the Honda Navigation System, including the points of interest screen that can locate Golf Courses. The exact model was not in stock, but as promised he sent me a text message in several days. I purchased a 2012 Honda Civic sedan EX with the navigation system. The car was spotless inside and out when I took delivery. Brad Constantino followed up with several phone calls to see if I had any questions or issues with the car. Brad Constantino treated me in a very professional manner and I will go back to him for my next vehicle.

I had been looking for a car for about two weeks when my son suggested we visit Dick Ide. Brad made us feel at home with his no pressure style. He was able to present me with several different models that would fit my needs. Once I found a vehicle, he had a few different levels of the model that I chose brought to the front of the building. Had a great experience with Doug and he really helped us understand our options. We feel like he was really looking out for us. On visiting we were unsure whether to buy used or new. I found all of Dick Ide's personell to be courteous, and understanding of my service problems, which consisted of the battery losing it's charge. Mark the Service Manage explained that I was not driving my 2009 Honda Civic LX enough in Rochesters server winter weather that has been experienced this winter. The repair service was completed in a reasonable amount of time. The waiting,of this dealership, is pleasant and comfortable with convient use of a beaverage and snack.

Our experience at Dick Ide Honda was wonderful. It was quick and we are very pleased that we were able to trade in our car and get our new car with a lower interest rate and lower monthly payment. The only thing I wish is that my husband had chosen one that was not as "stripped down" as he chose. That had nothing to do with the sales people, that was an issue with my husband. I am certain that the car will be just as great as our last car and we will be back in the future to get another one.

When my lease on my old vehicle was coming to an end I started shopping around for a good deal on the new Honda Odyssey 2011. Buying a used Honda Odyssey at Dick Ide Honda was a very pleasant experience. Brad was very patient and was willing to "work" with us. He informed us well about the Certified Used Honda. I feel we paid what the car was worth. We take our car to Dick Ide for scheduled maintenance check and the service department is also very friendly and helpful. Before I got to Dick Ide Honda, I first went in person to two other car dealers, one of which was totally unfriendly and made me run out. I then requested online a quote from 4 other car dealers, among which was Dick Ide. Ken Strimple was the only one who called me back on the phone. He easily convinced me to come in person. I missed our appointment and when I arrived, although he had other clients he managed to receive me. I had reference prices of used and new cars from other car dealers, and he took some time to compare those of Dick Ide Honda and to explain me the differences (by visiting the other dealers websites). I decided I will go for a lease, and kept contacting other car dealers to get the best offer. Again, Ken was the most convincing, and promised me to "get the numbers". And that's what actually happened... In the end, with Ken Strimple we always feel it like "Yes, we Ken"!Everybody else was also very professional and friendly. Paul Stojanov took a very good care to explain me the financing procedure and the car insurance requirements. He also called my co-signer in Washington D.C., talked to him, answered his questions, and got me DMV locations and addresses.My 6 points of ID and my co-signer package arrived late, not to mention that I had no idea on when I'll receive my last proof of ID. Still, Ken arranged a last-minute delivery, as I needed my car urgently. The delivery appointment was very relaxed and funny, the receptionist called me by my name, and overall it was like I knew people there for a long time.

I have been bringing my Hondas to Dick Ide for over 15 years because I like their Service Department. I started with Mark Frey as a Service Rep and moved to Jim Milella when Mark became Manager. I am very pleased with the way this Service Department is run and with the way Jim Milella handles my account. I trust him to give me good advice on my cars and to help me keep them in good condition so they last well. My 98 Accord has 150,000 miles and my daughter's 03 Civic has about 70,000 miles. We love both cars, and my next car purchase will be another Accord from Dick Ide especially because I want to stay with this Service Department. I especially like that Jim takes the time to explain my car's repairs to me and gives me the information I need to make any decisions about service. I never feel like I am being over-serviced or patronized, common complaints I hear from other women about their car experiences (not at Dick Ide!). Jim is so friendly and knowledgable and patient, and he always makes sure I have the advantage of my coupons or discounts. If there is a rating you have for Service Providers Jim Milella should have the highest rating! One other thing I love about this Service Department is that I can arrange to get a free loaner car when I book my service in advance. This is a great service! Thank you.

This was the best car purchasing experience I ever had. I got a Honda 4 wheeldrive Crosstour-simply a great car. Rick Damico, my salesman, was friendly, wonderful to work with and very professional. He listened to what I needed and was able to put together a deal that made even my husband happy. I was also introduced to the service team and Rick spent plenty of time going over all the features of my car with me. They also sponsor a new car clinic (which I unfortunately missed) to make sure you understand all the neat things your car can do. Additionally, I had some minor body work done on my car for about $90. and when I picked up the car, they had washed it and it was spotless. I spent thosands of dollars on service for my Volvo and Best Volvo never washed my car. This is the perfect dealership for cynics and burn-outs who think no one gives great service anymore.I think that says it all.

From the moment I walked in to Dick Ide Honda to the moment I left, my car purchasing experience was a pleasant and almost effortless one. I had an appointment with Roberto Galante set for 11 AM. and although I was a bit early the receptionist told him I was there immediately. With smiles he greated myself and my companion. After a short greeting I was privaledged to be introduced to Brad Constantino who was to start me in the process of basic information needed prior to the purchase. I was escorted into the financial office where Jim very quickly checked my credit and finances and explained my rating. From there, back to Roberto and Brad to pick out a car. I had already told Roberto and Brad that I had no intention of leasing and approximately what I'd like to pay per month. By the time I got back to them they had chosen some cars they thought I'd like. Brad had the first three cars brought out for me. I chose one of the three to test drive and I bought that car. I'm not a person who has to check them all, I know what I like and I think my brief meeting with both Roberto and Brad with their expertise of salemanship and people, they also knew what to show me that I would like. All whom I came in contact at Dick Ide were smiling, pleasant, helpful and informative including Mitch Ide himself. All in all that first meeting to finance, pick out and purchase my new 2006 Pontiac G6 was less then two hours on a Saturday. I was told I could come and pick up my car on Monday. It was detailed and shined for me, very beautiful. I have since gone in with a couple of minor issues which were addressed right away while I waited. At that time, another Saturday, I was approached by a smiling Mitch Ide, who although he sees thousand of people in the dealership, remembered me and asked how I was doing. Brad Constantino saw me and smiled and asked how I was doing. Roberto Galante smiled and made sure I was taken care of right away. Each experience I've had in the past two weeks since first walking in has been comfortable and pleasant, from all who I've encountered at Mitch Ide Honda. The entire sales process at Dick Ide was straight forward. We did not feel any pressure in the negotiation process. There were no "sales games". We traded prices a few times and then we agreed on the price I had planned on paying. I was glad the sales cycle was fairly short. Our sales person, Doug McCarthy was easy to work with. He did not give us a strong sales pitch. He answered our questions, took our price offer to the Sales Manager without giving us any hassle. The finance steps also went smooth. The finance manager explained the various documents clearly and ensured we understood what we were signing. When we picked up our CR-V, it was in prime condition. Doug did a thorough job of ensuring we knew how to operate the features of our CR-V. Overall, we had a great car buying experience at Dick Ide!

I have been a Dick Ide Honda customer for 20 years, owning (still) a 1991 Civic Hatchback (now a restored showpiece) and a 2002 Civic Coupe. I now also bring my wife's 2000 Voyager (even though it's not a Honda)to Dick Ide for routine maintenance. Over the course of these 20 years, I have predominately dealt with Mark Frey (back when he was a young Service Advisor) and now Jim Milella. Both Mark and Jim have always been honest and straight-forward in discussing any maintenance item on all three vehicles, whether preventative or corrective maintenance. Each has been fair in pricing any service or repair. Mark and Jim have always ensured that a 'loaner' was available and each has diligently kept me informed, by phone, on any maintenance progress.In my youth, I did much of my own car maintenance. Though I may not do that any longer, I still check all work that has been done to be sure it was done to my satisfaction. Don Stigler has performed all preventative and corrective maintenance on all three cars. I have never found a maintenance item incorrectly performed or incomplete. Don does an excellent job.Lastly... My wife was reluctant to bring her Voyager to a Honda dealer. The Voyager is 10 years old and it is starting to act like it's 10 years old. After a few visits to Dick Ide, I think there may be a Dick Ide Odyssey in her future...Many thanks to a great Service Department under the leadership of a great Service Manager, Mark Frey. And... Jim Millella is a true professional. He is very knowledgeable and always offers honest opinions. He is one of the main reasons I have my service done by Dick Ide Honda. Jim has made me feel very comfortable in each and every situation since I have been dealing with him for the past ten years or more.He is always very descriptive and explains all options in a way I can fully understand. I am very happy with all the work Jim has done with me and consider him a true asset to Dick Ide Honda.

I have had a nightmare of an experience with DickIde. I leased a 2011 Honda Accord and the car has been the most unreliable car I have ever owned. The car blew a fuse the first week I had it. The second week the car would not start. The battery was than replaced with a brand new one. I went to start the car after leaving work and it was dead again. I had a 2008 Accord that I leased for three years. The new 2011 Accord has already been in the shop more times than the 2008. Not good DickIde.

My experience was by far one of the best car experiences ever. I'm extremely busy and I had to get rid of my "other" lease asap. I called up and gave them 5 parameters of what I needed. I said I will be there at this time...I showed up, and a car was there waiting all warmed up! They are the consummate professionals and it was such a pleasure doing business with them. Frankly, it was during the holidays and everything was overwhelming, except dealing with DickIde. Amanda

In the past I have worked with different agents at Dick Ide Service and have not always been happy with the customer service. But every time I've worked with Jim Milella I have been very pleased. Now I only ask for Jim and only wish to work with him. He is very knowledgeable, reasonable and fair. He takes time to explain my car issues with me and works with me on the price - which is extremely important to me. He also always stays in contact with me and returns my calls promptly. He keeps me informed in a very friendly manner. I appreciate the recent experience I had with Jim (between Dec 1-2) and thank him for his service. NEVER purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I was in the market for a new Honda Accord. Dick Ide Honda had the car (2010 Honda Accord EX) I wanted and quoted me $3000.00 over dealer's invoice during a phone call. I explained that I was aware of invoice price and would like to do business with them at a "fair and honest price" which is their motto on their television advertisements. They asked me to come in and take a look. When I came in less than 8 hours later they claimed they misquoted the price and added $1100.00 more! Now I am at $4100.00 over invoice and not much below MSRP. Because I am a woman? Because I dare knew the invoice price? Because I knew there were dealer incentives? Because Dick Ide Honda thought this was the make, model, year and color that I wanted I would willingly pay $4100.00 more? No--they claimed that it was because they installed mud guards, a moonroof and all season mats and wheel locks. Allow me to educate Dick Ide Honda--Honda Accord EX come with a moonroof. Mats, mud guards, and wheel locks DO NOT cost $1100.00 more! Shame on Dick Ide Honda for treating a potential new car buyer like this. What happened to "fair and honest" pricing?I bought the exact same make, model, year and color from Keenan Honda in Pennsylvania. I drove 5 hours to save nearly $4000.00 and dealt with a dealership that actually provided "fair and honest" pricing. I will gladly recommend Keenan Honda and inform everyone of my experience at Dick Ide Honda.

When I walked into the dealership I had no idea what my credit was like and wasn't sure if I would be approved for a lease. I wanted to know if I would be accepted before I went for a test drive. I didn't want to get my hopes up and then find out I wouldn't be approved. I explained this to John and he agreed to go about the process the way I wanted to. So unlike every other pushy car salesmen I had encountered. He kept everything very professional but was also able to connect with me on a personal level by swapping stories with me about our favorite band! When it came time to sign all the papers and drive my new car off the lot we ran into a little problem. At first, it looked like I wasn't going to be able to, but John did whatever he could to make sure I got to leave with the car - on the same day I went in to see if I could get one! He commented to me that no one is able to leave the dealership with a new car the same day they walk in to buy it - but he was able to do that for me! The whole process - from when I first walked in the door to when I drove the car off the lot - was only a matter of hours. I appreciated that so much. I happened to run into John last night and he immediately recognized me and I commented to him about a problem I was having with my car and he told me to give him a call and he would try to help me out. Helping out a customer months after he completed his job is VERY commendable...and proves what a great salesmen he is! After my experience with Dick Ide, John and the Honda Corporation I have no desire to get any other brand of car from any other dealership. I'm sold on Dick Ide and Honda for life!

HORRIBLE experience. First, I had to wait 7 weeks for my vehicle. In those 7 weeks, I visited other Honda dealerships who claimed they could get my vehicle in 1 week. Also, other dealerships were at least willing to negotiate price and accessories with me. Dick Ide would not even consider negotiating, and YELLED at me saying he is going to sell my vehicle to someone else. That's fine, I do not want to support a dealership with such rude and unprofessional customer service. Do NOT purchase from Dick Ide!

I've never got an itemized receipt for a brand new 2007 Accord I purchased from them. When I called them and requested an itemized receipt I was told they will mail it to me next day. But they never did! I had to keep calling them and bugging them and 3 weeks after that it turned out that I was overcharged by $1186.92! I am currently waiting for that money to come and I didn't get an apology either! Don't buy a car from them. And if you do (or did) request an itemized receipt.

I had bought my Honda Prelude at another Local Dealership but took my car here to have it serviced for the first time. I was sure i had a faulty Transmission after 64,000 miles. It was slippy and consequently the check engine light had come on. <br><br>They fit me in before the weekend and diagnosed it in less than 24 hours after i had dropped it off. They told me that my transmission was done and i needed a new one as the gear ratio had gone by the wayside and it was so longer catching when shifting. Also each and every shift had become harder and a longer delay.<br><br>Now this is why i will bring my car here for the rest of its life... He said that the warranty had expired which i knew, and that it was about a $4000 expense. However, i was not going to have to pay for any of it. He mentioned it being a unique circumstance with the prelude auto and that they would be able to push it through at NO COST to me. <br><br>So here i am ONLY a week later from the day i dropped it off with a new transmission for NO COST. No diagnostic and no labor costs. I bank on it that if i had taken it where i had bought the car i would be out $4000 right now and it wouldnt be done. <br><br>This was by far my best experience with any service department ever. <br><br>Thank you Dick IDE!

Avoid this dealership at all costs. My husband and I went in to look at a 2004 Honda Accord with automatic transmission. They claimed over the phone that they had one in stock. Well, when we got there, we found out it was a manual transmission (there was supposedly an "error" on their sheet). But they would be getting more in at the end of the week, and would talk price with us.<br><br>Keep in mind, this was during the 2004 "Honda Clearance" time. Dick Ide's ads always say that they will give the best local price. They quoted us a price slightly above invoice. We had brought in a print-out from Edmunds.com that showed a $500 manufacturer-to-dealer incentive, so we said we would like to negotiate a lower price. At this point, the salesperson THREW the quote down on the table and said, "You guys just don't want us to make any money on this car, do you?" He was a complete bastard.<br><br>We couldn't believe we were treated so disrespectfully. They are INCREDIBLY unprofessional. We left and vowed never to set foot in that store again.<br><br>We bought the identical car for several hundred dollars less at another local Honda dealership.
