The process of finding the right vehicle in today’s environment takes some patience as there are not a lot of available options. My wife and I purchased a new Santa Fe on Saturday and it's a beautiful vehicle. We have bought our last three vehicle's from Inver Grove Hyundai and it is the only place we buy and service our vehicle's. The staff is out standing!! Our salesman Hutch (Mike Huchinson) was out standing. Very knowledgeable and no pressure sales. After we bought the vehicle he took us out and spend time with us showing us all the features and explained how they worked. We never felt rushed or like we were wasting his time. I already told him I want him to be my salesman when I buy my retirement vehicle in 3 or 4 years.

After inquiring online about a specific SUV on a Wed night, I received a call from Adam that same night. We talked about the vehicle that night, again the next day and I purchased the very next day after driving over three hours. Adam was good, the young lady we dealt with first not so much. talked with the sales manager when i brought it in to have the plates put on, he seemed friendly and asked for a copy of the picture i took showing how you couldn't see out of the front windshield. the dealership washed the car and the service manager personally cleaned the front window.

John was a pleasure to work with. I haven't always enjoyed car shopping in the past, but he made it an easy and fun experience. I discovered an issue with my car a few days after buying it, and even though he wasn't able to take care of it, the service department made sure I left as a happy customer. We recently purchased a gently used 2013 Santa Fe and initially worked with the General Manager, Mitch Green then we purchased the car through the Sales Consultant, Hanafy Mahmoud. We were shopping to replace my mother's Camry and met with Thomas Robinson at Inver Grove Hyundai Saturday morning to look at a Hyundai's before our appointment to get a new Camry. Thomas listened to her preferences and presented the two best options for her to test drive and compare to the new Camry and Accord we were testing later that day. At the end of the day she decided to give the Sonata Ltd at try this time around. She loved her 2012 Camry (we are keeping it in the family) and didn't expect to change from Toyota and the great Toyota dealer and salesperson we've had. Thomas and the staff at IG Hyundai gave us no concerns over trying out a Hyundai this year.

See previous comments.I was immediately impressed by being asked, "what do I need to do to get the right deal for you?" Not the, "this is why you need to buy this car from me soon" balony I had gotten from some others. I'm getting ahead of myself, he started by exploring our needs and what we were looking for in a vehicle, then the options we desired. Based on this we looked through what was available. The dealership then put together a package we liked. His approach was so refreshing we didnt even go to the two other dealers on our list.

We just got our Sport. It has the ultimate and technology packages and is a FWD not an all wheel drive. Our driving experience has been very good. We like that the sport is a 2 row version of the larger Santa Fe and has all the same features. The 2.0T has great acceleration and the ride is very comfortable. We are still learning to operate all the features which are many.

Took my wife's 2009 Sonata in for an oil change and tires. Went home with a new 2016 Sonata. Wife was happy with the new Sonata and the my grandson was happy he got the 2009 Sonata that only had 45,000 miles on it. The service folks where great to deal with and Bill the salesman was great to work with when I started to look at the new cars. Got a great price on the new Sonata that I could not refused.

I thought the dealership environment was very professional and welcoming. Even though there was trouble switching over to the new computer system at the time, which made the process of buying my vehicle slow, they were very appreciative of my understanding and made sure I was accommodated appropriately (i.e. free oil change). Even though I had no problem with waiting, I really appreciated their thankfulness for my waiting. Buying a car can be a stressful situation with all the paperwork and such but I didn't feel that at all. I really liked the person I worked with for my financial stuff, Justin. He was very thorough and I could tell he wanted the best for me and my financial situation. My sales rep, Hutch, was very thorough as well and made sure I was truly satisfied with my car and the purchasing process. Overall, I had a great experience at the Inver Grove Hyundai location and its employees. I love my car and my previous Hyundai before this one. I can only say good things about this dealership.

My daughter is going to be 16 in a couple weeks and I was in the market for the best used vehicle I could find for her, without spending a fortune. During my search I found out that many places don't even inspect the vehicles before selling them! I found a used Hyundai Sonata online at IGH Hyundai, sent an email requesting information and heard back within a half hour from John Amos. I set up a time to come in to test drive it the next day. I came to the dealership to test drive a used car that I've been after for quite some time. After I drove it and was ready to talk price, I was informed that the person who just test drove it in front of me was going to buy it. My saleseperson Adam Tomerlin hopped online and found that their sister store just got the same car in on trade. He called them an arranged to go get the car on his day off the next morning. He then called me in the morning and offered to drive it all the way to my home which is an additional 30 mins from his dealership. I loved the car and made the purchase. I couldn't be happier with the Adam, his manager and their finance staff. The deal went smoothly and I don't know how you can get better customer service than that.

My new car purchase went well, I actually was looking for a Santa Fe that was just returned from a lease customer. However they only had one in stock and it was white colour. White coloured cars I will never buy one. I looked a new one just for comparison. However after I ran the numbers the one made a better choice. The Sales Rep was very helpful and fun to work with. I had a really good experience with Hanafy Mahmoud's help in finding and buying a 2013 Hyundai. Helpful and friendly. I didn't feel rushed or pushed at all by him. He was helpful after the purchase getting the technology in the car set up, along with demonstrating other features of the car. And he's a real nice guy. Thanks Hanafy. Another big plus was the transfer of the balance of a Hyundai 10 yr/ 100,000 mi Power Train warranty. Be aware that during the finance process (not with Hanafy) many different 'protection' options at additional cost will be offered, I did not opt for any.

He answered all my questions in a very friendly, cheerful manner, and I appreciated that. I was not sure if I wanted a Hyundai when I came to the dealership, but after looking over the cars and dealing with Thomas, I was sure Hyundai was for me. Even my son that was with me in my car search, said that his next car will probably be a Hyundai too, not just because the Hyundai's are such good, safe vehicles with such good warranties, but because he was really impressed with Thomas's great customer service. Great customer service matters, and Thomas sure is an example of that!!

This is not my first time purchasing from Inver Grove Hyundai. I originally bought a used car from them via special financing. Thanks to them I was able to get a car I desperately needed for work and have the opportunity to increase my credit score because of my making car payments on time, which helped me on this current purchase.I originally went in to buy a used car as my current car was starting to get up there in miles. I found out that my credit score went up substantially and that it would be a better option to purchase a new car and I did just that. I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Elantra which is a perfect fit for me.Everyone that I came into contact with was very friendly and would ask if I needed anything beverage wise, even if they weren't working with me directly on the sale. The only hiccup that I encountered when I was there is that the computer that controlled the printing went down/froze and it took longer to seal the deal than I was hoping for. I understand that these things can happen though. Despite that small thing I would really recommend Inver Grove Hyundai to anyone looking to buy a car new or used.

Mike Said, our sales person, was one of the most professional sales persons I have ever met. He was 1st interested in knowing what I wanted in a vehicle and had a strong knowledge of the vehicles on your lot. He was very direct in our price discussions, had a good knowledge of current rebates and made it a pleasure to buy a vehicle. I left other car dealerships where the sales person did not care about my needs, did not offer to discuss price (only wanted to hear an offer) and simply pointed where I could find a car on the lot. Not only did the dealership try to low ball my trade in but the sales manager admitted to me that "of course we try to pay the least we can so we can make more" after I got a different quote from another dealership and they honored that one...it was no small difference it was almost 3k difference. The sales person Morgan was unorganized and made promises that she did not follow through with for 2 months after I bought the car, and only because I continued to call and stop in and after I threatened to contact the BBB. There was a few male sales people that were polite and nice to deal with, unfortunately they were not the ones I got to work with and the sales manager is condescending and down right rude. This is my 4th new car and honesty the worst experience I've had to date.

I just want to say it was a great experience working with Hanafay Mahmoud my salesperson. He was very polite, and provided no pressure at all during our visit. I cannot say enough about that. I don't like to be pushed when purchasing a vehicle. They are expensive, and you have to feel comfortable. I have always been a dedicated Ford buyer. My wife purchased a new Ford Escape Titanium 2 weeks before I decided to visit Hyundai. I had a very nice Ford Edge, and was looking to upgrade to a new Ford Edge, but did not care for the pricing and options they were offering. I decided to look at many dealers and did not find anything until I hit the Hyundai site. I am an impulse buyer. When I see something that really appeals to me, I start to take a closer look. After seeing the 2017 Santa Fe Limited, I just fell in love with it's styling lines. Very smooth and balanced. That is very important to me. Once I took it for a ride with a full sunroof, I was sold. It rode very nice and was so quiet. I think the only thing I don't like is that it sits a bit lower than my Edge did. About 6" lower. I liked sitting up a bit higher, but it's really OK, not a deal changer. One option that was missing for me was Remote Start. For a top of the line Limited Ultimate Package, I feel that option should have been included. After finding out the cost to put an aftermarket Remote Starter in from Hyundai, I felt that was unreasonable as well as putting in a Class III Hitch. The Class III hitch is offered as an option for 350.00 when I build the car online, yet the dealership wants to charge me 750.00 to have it installed. I found the Hitch at CURT Mfg in Wisconsin for $278.00 and it installs in 30 minutes. I can do that myself. I would also have liked the Tech Package, but was not showing on the Hyundai site when I looked for my Santa Fe. Three days after I purchased my car, it all of a sudden was on the website. Had I know that, I would have waited. It had safety features I would have loved to have had with the automatic breaking being the main feature. Another selling point for me was the Warranty. I would have had to pay 2,000.00 or more at Ford to get that same warranty. I plan on keeping this vehicle for at least 6 to 8 years until I retire, so that works well for me. So far, with only 350 miles on the car, I just love it, and the many folks I have showed it to, are also impressed with this new design. Ask me again in a couple years how it is. New cars are always nice, and if it gives me years of trouble free operation, I will be very happy. If the service department lives up to it's high standards and keeps me the owner satisfied, that is all I can ask. These vehicles are so expensive, and if you want me to pay these prices, I expect to be treated at the highest standards possible. Kudos to Hyundai so far. The purchase experience was the best I have ever had buying any car. I bought my first new care out of the Air Force in 1979, and I have bought a new car every 3 years since then, so I have bought many. I have never owned a used car. Since being married the last 10 years, my Wife and I buy new cars together within a week from each other. I like having a dependable ride to work. My friends always kid with me saying "Looks like your tires are in need of replacing as the tread is almost gone. What kind of car are you going to buy this time":) That is a pretty true statement. I like the feel of quality and new technology under me. It just feels good, and right now I love the feel of my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Ultimate.

I would have rated my experience as excellent if it not were for the finance person. She could not explain to me how they arrived at the amount of money I had to pay for taxes. She stated that the computer did all the calculations. "I still would like an explanation". In my opinion that is unprofessional and she should get at least additional training. Then she went on to try to sell me some extended services without showing me the original amount I had to pay for the vehicle

The dealership itself is great, service people are excellent. Some issues arise at lease end. Hyundai requires a third party inspection of the vehicle prior to turn in. I was not contacted by anyone to arrange the inspection. Finally I called IGH Hyundai. I was informed I needed to call Hyundai lease end hotline and they could arrange to have it inspected within a day or two. After calling the hotline I was informed I needed to wait a day and then contact the third party inspection company directly. The next day I called the third party, the earliest they could inspect the vehicle was 11 days later. Which happened to be one day prior to lease end. It's more convenient to lease from a manufacturer that can inspect the car at the dealership when dropping the vehicle off at lease end. I missed the disposition fee of $400 at lease end. Shame on me, although it was not mentioned at signing. I don't like paying it but I will. I leased a Malibu from a GM dealership 4 months later as a second car, they pointed out the disposition fee. I asked them to waive the fee or cancel the purchase agreement, they waived the fee. They also complete the final lease inspection at the dealership no unwanted hassle. I know which manufacturer I will continue to lease with.

After stopping in on a Saturday to look a the color of Monaco White in person vs the website, I just felt the color was soft and very appealing. The car I was it on was a 2017 Santa Fe Limited-Ultimate. After mulling it over on Sunday, I decided to stop into the dealership to test drive the Santa Fe on Monday after work. I was sold on the quality right away. Very nice ride, and very quite. I was actually looking for a Santa Fe SE with the 2 option packages, but there were none to be found with the beige interior. After the test drive, I decided that this Santa Fe Limited was the car I wanted. It had so many features. I traded in a 2013 Ford Edge that I loved very much, but Ford could not give me what this Hyundai has in it for the same price. The Hyundai dealership also gave me a great trade-in price on my Ford Edge. That was another reason I was sold. They did not try to take advantage of me. I paid full price for the Hyundai, with some nice discounts. If you are a military person, they take off $500.00 if you can provide your DD-214. Above all, my salesperson Hanafay Mahmoud was exceptional. Not pushy, very understanding, and very thorough when explaining all the features of the vehicle. After the purchase he spent close to 45 minutes going through every button and feature on my new vehicle from front to back. When I left, I knew everything about the car and felt that Hyundai was a great advocate for their products. I can honestly say I have never felt that way at AutoNation Ford in White Bear. They should take lessons from Hyundai when it comes to customer service. I have bought my last Ford. Loved my Edge, but no comparison to the Hyundai Santa Fe. You can't say enough about customer service. We spend a lot of money on these new cars, and I expect to have my hand held during the sale and all the maintenance that follows..Special thanks to Hanafay Mahmoud. you are a great salesperson. Your demeanor is so friendly and we felt no pressure at all. That is how you buy and sell cars. It should be relaxed letting the buyer take time to ask questions and feel comfortable about the sale, and Hanafy gets a perfect score in that category. Thanks for a great transaction. I was offered coffee, water, and even fried chicken!;) Thomas made it hes personal goal to fit me with the right vehicle and keep it within my budget . I have to admit I was there for entirely too long and I think they can benefit from hiring an additional financial personnel, however Justin ( The financial guy) worked with the bank to keep my payments well within my budget. I have purchased two Hyundais from this dealership and also done all my servicing with them for a number of years- but no more after today. Because their service agents overbooked the service bays I was not even able to get an oil change today- in addition I had a screw in a tire which they looked at while they kept my car for two hours and then said I needed all four new tires but they couldn't get the tires for a number of days.I took the vehicle down the street to Discount tire who evaluated the same situation and I had my car back with tire repaired- in less than 2 hours.They have not only lost my service business but because of the large helping of attitude served up by the "Manager" I spoke with this morning I will not be buying my next car at Inver Grove Hyundai. My only regret is that I didn't get my car serviced today there- so I won't be able to give them a poor rating to their corporate headquarters.

I bought a brand new car here, was called less than 48 hours later stating that there are some recalls on it that need fixed so can I bring it back in for 2- 3 hours to do so? Annoying, as I would think that the dealership would check on those before selling it or sending it home with me altogether. Very frustrating and disappointing.

We test drove a vehicle that we really liked and decided to try to purchase. It had a dent on the rear fender and a 6" long crack in the plastic rear bumper. On top of that, a friend of ours works for another dealer in their dealer group, so the salesman said he'd get me the "friends and family discount". We ended up being offered $200 off or get the crack in the bumper fixed. My wife liked the vehicle so we did the $200 off. We didn't have finances ready that particular Saturday so we gave them a $500 money order as deposit to hold the vehicle so they wouldn't sell it. Well, we ended up falling in love with another vehicle at a different dealer on the following Tuesday so Wednesday, I called to request the $500 back. The man from Finance, I think his name was Oliver, said sure thing, it would take a day or two to get the check cut but they would drop it in the mail by Friday. Then, on Saturday the salesman(Thomas) called me and specifically told me it was in the mail. Turns out he flat out, straight up LIED. A week later, the check hadn't arrived, so I called them up and asked what was going on only to be told that it takes 10 days for them to process our check before they refund. Here's the multiple problems with our visit:1) $200 for a "friends and family discount" OR fix the crack? Talk about terrible negotiating. My wife loved the car. I just liked it. Glad we found something else with a terrible negotiation like that. 2) I was told on the initial request for the deposit to be returned by someone in finance(Oliver, I think) that it would only take 1-2 days to get the check put in the mail. The initial call never said anything about 10 days.3) I was told by Thomas, the salesman, that the check was in the mail, when it was not even written yet. He directly lied to me. What the heck?4) I was told on the final call that they require 10 days to "make sure the check clears". It was a money order. Money orders are paid with cash. They are essentially guaranteed to clear. You cannot purchase a money order without cash. Why would it take 10 days to wait for something purchased with cash to clear?We put down the deposit 16 days ago, requested it to be returned 12 days ago, was told 9 days ago it was in the mail, and 3 days ago was told it still hasn't even been written. To try to make up for it, they said it would be couriered to our house and be delivered today. We still have not received the $500 back. I've never dealt with such a shady company. We purchased ZERO services from them and apparently it takes them 16+ to return money for no services. What a complete joke. Will NEVER shop there, or at any other Carousel Motor Group dealer.

I was very pleased with the service at the Inver Grove Hyundai because they (Matt Wiegand and Mike Said) made the process very efficient and convenient for me. I stopped by on my break, test drove, gave them my finance app info, and when I came back after work, all the paper work was completed. I would recommended hiring more people to work in the finance dept. at this dealership. Considering I had an appt time for vehicle pickup and had been pre-approved for financing, I had to wait an unacceptable length of time to complete the financing paper work. Once I got in to meet with one of the financing staff, he was very pleasant to work with. However, the time waiting really spoiled the excitement I was feeling during my experience of purchasing my new car and would give a poor rating in the finance dept. due to unstaffing.My vehicle was not properly cleaned when I picked it up either ....since I left dealership at night, it became obvious with the glare on the windows from other vehicles as I was driving home. Carpet was cleaned, windows were not even touched. But I was satisfied by the dealership's solution and how they handled the situation. I also have come to discover some the radio features are either not working, or work to an unacceptable condition. which i'm quite disappointed since they were a couple of the features of the car that drew me to this car.Overall, my experience was at a level of satisfication. My salesman was very helpful during this experience.

I was in the market for a new car and didn't have anything specific in mind so I came here only to see what they had and get inspired to figure out what I want. My salesman, Thomas T. Robinson, Jr. was excellent. He wasn't pushy, aggressive, rude etc.. This location didn't have what I was looking for however, they did have plenty cars to test drive. In fact testing the various cars assisted me into narrowing my search to what I wanted. I found my car at a "sister" lot and Thomas got it delivered to his lot within a matter of hours. All I can say is it was LOVE at first sight! I enjoyed working with Thomas and I highly recommend him as a salesman. It was one one the most relaxing car buying experiences I have ever experienced in my life. My only gripe is I had financing already established prior to coming here so I don't know why the finance guy sent my application to a different finance company attempting to get me financed. I don't like all these unnecessary hits on my credit report. Overall I had a great experience and I recommend using Thomas to assist you in purchasing your next car. I will refer him to other friends/family members looking to purchase a car.

I had been to at least 7 different dealerships searching for a used car with low mileage for a good price. Financing was always the issue, even with cash down and a trade-in I kept running into issues. I finally went to Inver Grove Hyundai where I met Vicki Dubay. She assured me she could help me and would not waste my time. We started going through the whole process and right about the part where I kept getting the "Sorry this just won't work unless you..." speech, she told me we were good to go and pulled up a few vehicles that were in my budget with low mileage. She helped me get a 2010 Kia Soul with less than 45,000 miles. Turns out she was the head of their financing department. So she wasn't a sales person trying to get a commission check, she was helping me simply because she was in the position to help me and knew she could. I love my car, my daughters love their new car, and I am very thankful for having went to THAT dealership and met her. If you are looking for a new or used car, go there!!! Ask for Vicki!! You won't regret it.

I stopped at a coffee shop one morning with a friend who was giving me a ride to work as my car was totaled a few weeks ago. I see another friend and during our morning conversation she discovered that I was without a vehicle. She said "OMG I got a new car a few weeks ago at Inver Grove Hyundai and those guys were the bomb"! Then she gave me Hung Nguyen's card and said, call him today. Within the next couple of hours I called and asked for an appointment. He said stop by at your leisure and assured me that they had a great team and I would leave with the vehicle. Once there he introduced me to Vicki Dubay. He was right! Vicki was very personable, straight forth and spoke in terms I understood. As nervous as I was, Vicki's experience and very noticeable knowledge of the business itself was refreshing. When I left I was set up for a new vehicle and felt very confident and comfortable about my decision. Whatever we discussed about the purchase was exactly how it turned out. No Surprises!

I bought a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe from Mr. Nguyen, and found him to be extremely helpful, patient and easy to deal with. He showed me a number of vehicles before he found exactly what I was looking for.Price was good without much haggling! I would readily deal with Hung any time.The credit guy was a bit tricky for my taste. This has nothing to do with Hung, but is apparently a normal practice for this firm. He took a $500 credit away because I got a "0% loan" for 36 months, which effectively cancels the no interest aspect by making me pay $500.00 up front, which puts the "real" interest rate at, perhaps, 1.5%. Another aspect of the credit guy that bothered me was his attempts to "up sale" me with a number of add on features such as a maintenance agreement for about $2300, and a 3M product to protect against rock chips, etc. He had several alternatives, each of which had to be selected then and there, no time to think it over. Credit guy gets a D minus, Hung gets an "A"

Morgan was the queen of chill. She fit me in to look at a car when I called about 15 minutes ahead of time. She knew a bunch about it even though it was a nearly new Honda not a Hyundai. Justin in finance was great & very nice. We were in an out in less than 2 hours. Excellent place to do business. Got to say the waiting room for service is a little bleak looking so if you are dropping off your car you might want to make your way somewhere else.

The Salesman was Bill Barnhart was our salesman on Saturday July 25, 2015 at Hyundia, to talk about a purchase of a new car. We were interested in a Hyundia Sonata Se, which he had on on the lot. The color we were interested in a lakeside blue. Bill was very patient and explained everything about the car and what was covered and the final price of the car. He was not in a rush with us and after awhile we both agree to go to lunch and think about what Bill and Daniel/Emma discussed about the car. During our lunch we discussed the pro and cons about the purchase of a car. Bill called us during our lunch and asked if we wanted the car, that he would get it ready to go. He would get the car washed and deal tail all ready, of course we said yes. After lunch we went back to the dealership and started on the paperwork. Bill explained each sheet of paper which Daniel signed. Everything went smoothly with getting the car. We could tell Bill was experienced in selling cars, no pressure and patients with people. Bill was kind and caring about who he sold cars too.

On July 31,2015 I went into the dealer to meet with Vicki Dubay who did an outstanding job bending over backwards to get me into a new vehicle!! :) I left with a 2016 hyundai elantra and I love it! The whole buying experience went smoothly and Vicki, who is amazing at her job, explained everything and was there by my side the whole way. The only reason I did not give the dealership itself a 5 star is because while we did paperwork, Vicki expected the service department to get my car ready, detail, etc so when we were done with paperwork we could leave. They made a believer out of this skeptic! A bad divorce and being a disabled, single parent left me convinced that, due to poor credit, I'd never be able to drive a really nice vehicle. I had been shopping for a particular car for a while and finally it was time to actually look at the cars. I knew this probably was what I would get but of course had to check others out. This Camry was the best deal even with the few small issues. My only complaint was the usual back and forth when I made an offer on the car. To me this practice at many dealerships is unfair to the buyer and the salesman especially when one comes in well informed and with facts, pricing and knowledge. I would have preferred rather than the back and forth the sales manager just stop by the desk so we could discuss it and things would have gone faster. Adam was good to work initially, he was busy when I came back and turned me over to Thomas to finish the sale and he knew right away what we had to do. I knew the car needed a few things and by end of next week the car should be like new again with Inver Grove Hyundai making a good deal and me getting and knowing exactly what I bought.

I wound up going with Inver Grove Hyundai, specifically dealing with Vicki Dubay, and my experience couldn't have been better. We had an appointment on Saturday morning, and was met with a smile and great service. After deciding exactly what I wanted, we test drove it and brought it back to start filling out the paperwork. Upon cleaning out my trade in and transferring everything over to the new car, Vicki was showing me the controls when she discovered that the AC in the car wasn't working. She had me pull it around to the service garage, the looked at it and discovered that the fan had gone out on it. Without hesitation she gave me a rental car free of charge and ordered the part to service the Veloster. She gave me a call on Tuesday morning and said that the Veloster was ready and asked if I minded if SHE brought it out to ME at work. GREAT SERVICE! She brought it out, we switched cars, and I had a great drive home last night in my new Hyundai. I expect this car to last me many years, but if I need to purchase anything else, I absolutely will not hesitate to visit Vicki again after the exemplary customer service I received. Thanks!

We had just rented an economy car in Laughlin, NV that was a Hyundai Accent and found that it was pretty roomy for a little car. My son will be going back to college but is going to Winona every other week in the summer and I didn't want him putting the mileage on my Ford Edge. The staff here are exceptional. I noticed right away that I was treated very differently from other dealerships. I felt very comfortable with asking all my questions and not feeling like I had to buy a car the same day I walked in. There was no pressure to buy a car and I truly felt that they had my best interest in mind. They were trying to find the best deal for me without trying to sell me things that I really didn't need like some other dealerships I visited. They really care about the customers they serve with a sincerity like no other. It meant a lot to me that I felt like they wanted to know me for who I am and not just so that they can sell me a car. I was also extremely nervous about going alone as a single woman with very little knowledge of how to buy a car, but they did not take advantage of my naivety. I have had my car for about 6 months and I am very happy with it. There has been no problems with it. I got to buy us a 2015 with a 6 year warranty and a 2014 also with a 6 year warranty for my daughter. I had a hyundai in the past. I went to Inver Grove Hyundai in December, looking to trade my 2012 Santa Fe in for a newer model. Vern Prosser showed me a few options, but I was not able to meet the financial obligations at the time and told him I'd like to wait until I had the funds available for a down payment. In February, I was ready to make the trade and Vern set me up with the exact vehicle i wanted, with affordable payments and the features I desired.The overall buying experience was excellent and Vern answered all of my questions. Went to Hyundai because my brother has a Santa Fe and I fell in love with it. Charlie is very picky about his cars and I also did my homework online and was impressed with the quality and reliability of the Santa Fe. Even though I live in So Mpls I went to this dealership and this sales person because of my brother's recommendation and I was not disappointed. Bill has been great, as has everyone at Inver Grove Hyundai. I had been driving Saturns for the last 15 years and didn't think I'd find any dealership to match the kind of customer friendly sales and service I had been used to, but I believe I have.

Was in the car market for the first time in several years, narrowed it down to 4 models of which 2 were Hyundai's (Sonata and Santa Fe Sport). I visited this dealership several times with one or two of my kids and my wife. We worked with Nick Peterson - he was very knowledgeable about Hyundai and Genesis products and really easy to work with. I didn't feel like I was pressured, he was able to explain and demonstrate the features of the vehicles thoroughly. No big sales pitch or endless follow-up calls. When it came time to talk price they were able to match the best price I had found. I'd much rather buy from my closest dealer as that is most likely where I'll have the car serviced. Nick did a great job walking me through all of the cars features again (there are lots of them with the tech+ultimate package) at delivery - the car was nice and clean. Nick also setup our BlueLink account right at the dealership. The dealership itself could benefit from a bit more showroom space inside along with a dedicated delivery area. This is my first Hyundai (Honda and Toyota owner) so we'll see how this plays out. However, I'd recommend IGH Hyundai and Nick Peterson specifically.

Our car was pretty popular the weekend we look at it with many interested people test driving and considering to buy it. I checked in frequently with Melissa in the week before we bought it as to the status of the vehicle and if it was still available as we got our financing in order. The cars.com posting brought me in. When I got there and drove the vehicle I requested, I noticed there weren't heated seats. The struck me as odd as it was one of my criteria and I wouldn't have come all the way to Inver grove Heights to drive it had not had heated seats. However I "negotiated "heated seats in.When I got home I pulled up the cars.com ad. Not only did it stated had heated seats, it's stated it had the cold weather package: heated seats, heated steering well, and heated mirror. I let the dealership know about this. The answer? "Well there's a disclaimer on cars.com."Had cars.com just said heated seats, I could buy it as an honest mistake, I would understand. However this ad when into elaborate detail about the cold weather package and what it entailed. Essentially, I negotiated for something that is advertised it had. Needless to say I am less than impressed with the integrity that the answer provided shows.Next time I'll go elsewhere. I won't again do business with a company that hides under a disclaimer to make false representations and it's response is to hide behind a disclaimer.

Chris, the sales manager, blew me away when he not only didn't try to up-sell me but also talked us out of a more expensive vehicle. Then, after a night to think about it, we called and told him we wanted the top of the line Santa Fe. Chris went way above and beond trying to find the car for us, he found it and had it brought to the dealer the next day. There was a very small hole in the drivers seat and their fix was to order a whole new seat! Cory, our sales woman, came in on her day off so she could be there when we got the new car and has been in contact several times to make sure we are 100% satisfied with everything. If the service department treats me as well they will have a customer for life!

I owned a Merc Benz truck, engine shot. $5500 in labor alone. Sad, right? After trying a few places, all of which tapped into my credit report, my dad said try Invergrove Hyundai. Not only was I greeted by Mr. Hanafy Mahmoud with a smile, but he went out of his way to find someone familiar with my trucks model. Mr Mahmoud found a way to take my negative equity, I still owed on my Merc, and place me in a brand new, 2015 Sanata. I drove off the lot the same day! Im speechless in my gratitude. I had been looking for a Hyundai Sonata 2.0 turbo with the dual sunroof online at multiple dealers and finally found two of them at Inver Grove Hyundai. I drove over to the dealership with my son and was met by Hanafy. I asked him to locate the car that I had seen online in his stock, which he very politely did, and within 5 minutes he had the car out front and ready for a test drive. Hanafy was very informational during the test drive and allowed me to get in and out of the test drive without any hassle as I did not have much time that day. He was also very polite and joking with my son who you could tell was not as excited as I was to be out for a test drive. Upon coming back the next weekend with the wife to test drive it again, Hanafy had the car all cleaned up and made the car buying process extremely comfortable and smooth. I was very impressed with the entire process from start to finish.

I came into the Inver Grove Heights MN Hyundai dealership needing to trade my 2012 Sonata for a less expensive vehicle due to my husband's job loss a year and a half ago. I worked with Cory Watson, who listened to my story and was able to set me up with a lease on a brand new vehicle with no money out of pocket, the $12,000 balance on my 2012 vehicle paid off, and a lease payment that was over $100 less than my previous car payment. WOW! I appreciated being able to get rid of some debt and get a great ride besides. I stayed with the Sonata model and now have a 2015 that has a smooth ride (and heated seats for the winter!) :-) I originally thought I'd have to turn in my 2012 Sonata, hopefully get a few bucks back, and find a late model beater to drive. The sales agent Melissa Hadler was super patient, professional and extremely helpful with my many calls, questions, emails, and texts. she was very attentive to detail something that many dealers I visited are lacking. I arranged a deal over the phone based on sales agent total description of the car and was completely satisfied at the accurate and detailed description of the car. next I took a flight from Chicago to Inver Grove Hyundai and was picked up at the airport by Melissa. The dealer stayed open after hours as my flight was delayed nearly an hour. Mike P the Finance manager and Melissa were fantastic throughout the whole time and I really appreciated that they went the extra mile to make sure I left with a smile on my face. I don't know if it's coincidence but, both Hyundai dealers I have visited have had great sales people and great reviews. I can't say the for the 6 other dealers I visited these past 2 months. I had been shopping online for a 2011 Chevy Traverse and found one I wanted to test drive at Inver Grove Hyundai. I sent an email from the website and got a response from Nick Peterson. We set up a time and date for the test drive and I arrived about 20 minutes early. Nick came out and spoke with us and said he would be back shortly as he was helping another customer. We test drove the car and I really liked it, but had made other appointments to test drive other vehicles that same day. Nick was very helpful, professional, pleasant, and what I liked the most.....Not Pushy! I drove 3 other Traverses that day at 2 different dealers and none of them compared to the one at Inver Grove Hyundai. Plus the other dealerships were not helpful, uninformed about their vehicles, and very pushy! I ended up purchasing the 2011 Chevy Traverse from Nick and have not had any "buyers remorse". I love my new vehicle and have had a great experience at Inver Grove Hyundai. Another plus for buying a used vehicle from Inver Grove Hyundai is that they all come with a Lifetime Certified Protection Warranty for as long as you own the vehicle! I know that you would be very pleased with your experience at Inver Grove Hyundai and ask for Nick Peterson!

The particular dealer I dealt with (named Bentley) is the definition of a sleazy car salesman and is completely untrustworthy. He is a flat out liar. The day we returned our 2012 Sonata (leased) Mike Said and the gang at IG Hyundai decided they weren't going to have us wait for the car we had ordered to be delivered. My daughters car had died a natural death after 16 years of faithful service. So I did some online shopping and was impressed with the pricing being offered by IG Hyundai. We made the trip from Southern Wisconsin to the cities to see her and went shopping. We pulled into the lot and we knew we wanted an elantra so we wandered over that way. We ran into Hung Nguyen and he asked right away if we had been helped? When we answered no he apologized a couple of times and while showing cars to another customer he helped get a test drive going. He offered a couple different ones to test with different features sets, no pressure yet just friendly suggestions. To make a long story short the experience with Hung Nguyen and IG Hyundai was awesome. Came out of there feeling more like a partner in the purchase instead of a just another customer to make a buck off. I'm seriously considering making that drive (5 hrs) for my next purchase down the road.

Bill Barnhart did a great Job of explaining the cars available and which one would be best suited for us, He did so in a manner that made us feel iike he had real concern that if we purchased something it was what was best suited for us, He was very honest about the products and didnt try to pressure us into buying accessories we didnt need but to make sure we got what the ones that would benefit us. I am 63 years old and have bought many new cars but have never had a better salesperson to work with, This is the second car we have bought from Bill, I would also like to mention that when we signed the final papers that the person (Sorry I cannot remember his name) but he also did a very nice job of explaining evreything and there was no high pressures sales, I am sure I purchased a car that was more accesories than I would have somewhere else just because of the great explantions and low pressure way they go about it. I went to IG Hyundai because they were the closest dealership to my residence. Hanafy met me when I walked in. He is not a high pressure sales person. He listens to what you are looking for and there was no BS. I bought my first car and a week later was hit by a bus. I needed a new car and called IG Hyundai and they did a dealer trade to get me the same color, along with honoring the original purchase price. There was no additional charge for the dealer trade. Hanafy spent 30-45 minutes explaining the navigation system to my wife and I. At no point did I feel he was in a rush to get rid of us. I couldn't believe the patience he had with the two of us. The finance people were also very pleasant to work with. I have not used the service department yet, but was introduced to them by Hanafy and they were very friendly. One of the managers emailed me once and asked if everything was ok with my new vehicle which I thought was very nice. All in all the best car buying experience I have had and I think this is the 10th vehicle I have bought new. I would highly recommend Inver Grove Hyundai.

i purchased a used 2012 dodge grand caravan sxt for 17000. the weather being extremely cold here we didn't do a good enough inspection of the van. i expected a good quality, with no apparent flaws for that kind of money, van.in the first week we noticed a torn seat in the rear. upon telling the salesman, thomas, about it he flat out said they will not take care of it. so disappointed we went on. now the weather here has been nasty here so when we got a slight break i took it in to be washed. after this i noticed mismatched tires and a rear vent window which didn't work due to missing hardware. it was held shut with a zip tie! also noticed brakes grinding when applied heavily. now i know its used but these things should have been pointed out to us, the least they could have done when we payed so much for this van. upon contacting the salesman about these problems he said he couldn't help us and that the used car sales manager would have to deal with us. well we are still waiting to here from him. i wouldn't recommend this dealer if you expect to get what you pay for, once they have your money they are done with you!!one unhappy customer

This was such a different experience from our other dealership purchases. Great / personal service and many "extras" we didn't receive when buying used cars at other dealerships (3 past experiences). They also have a FREE used vehicle lifetime warranty that covers a ton of repairs (even if we get our service and repairs done elsewhere!) and free raodside assistance for the life of the car. Highly recommend and in fact we will only purchase used card from this dealership, going forward.

I was taking a car on a test drive and 2 minutes into test drive, ran out of gas. Prior to the car salesman calling to have someone come and rescue us, he takes a sales call in the car!! Are you kidding me? Talk about bad service! Not to mention the GM drove by our vehicle, didn't realize there were customers in the car and jokes with his employees. My first car i bought from them I received with the tires on inside out, the best part is they tried to make me pay for their mistake. I traded in my Hyundai so I never have to deal with them again, extremely disappointed and will never refer this dealership, by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had car shopping!

I did buy the Chrysler Town and Country Touring-L advertised on your site, but the entire experience was horrific. I was buying this vehicle so I could carry my power wheelchair with me when I go to the store, etc. I had to call many, many time to get simple information. I asked for a copy of the window sticker on the car and was not given window sticker but a two page list of options codes and brief explanations that meant nothing to me. I didnt concern myself with this because a Touring-L model had certain equipment that made it a Touring-L model. I did not quibble on price, but only asked for new wiper blades (my mechanic said they were badly needed for safe driving). No wiper blades were installed and I was not told that they were not installed. I found out 200 miles down the road when I turned on the wipers. After they had their money and the papers were signed, I was given only one key. I asked for the second key and was told there was only one. This fact was never mentioned by the saleman or on their web site. I said two keys are expected and were provided with any car I every bought. I asked they pay for second key (remembering that I paid the full asking price). The answer I got from the used car manager was a simple NO. I had already invested a day of my time and gas money to drive there and over $350.00 for the mechanic and temporary insurance. So I accepted their answers with much grumbling. I let my wife drive the car home. When I start looking at the car, I was more than surprised to learn that it did not have much of the equipment that was standard on a Chrysler Touring-L model. Their web site said the vehicle was Touring-L model. This vehicle is not a Touring-L. It has part of the equipment, but not all of the equipment I need. It cost me another $297.60 to get the key FOB and have it programmed. The vehicle is not equipped as a Touring-L model, and I will never have the safety features I needed. Bottom line is the great deal turned into a average deal for a standard Touring model, with leather seats. I will not buy another vehicle from Inver Grove Hyundai in Minnesota. All my friends and family will know about how I feel about this transaction.

While shopping for a Hyundai Genesis, I made an email inquiry to Inver Grove Heights Hyundai. Lisa Wolters contacted me, and I arranged test drives of both a Genesis R-Spec and an Equus. While I ended up buying at a dealer where I live, Lisa proved the epitome of the kind of car salesman I prefer to deal with. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful and not pushy. The prices that were offed me were also competitive. If my local dealer hadn't been very competitive in price, I would have been more than willing to buy at this dealership (about 80 miles from where I live).

I was currently not driving a Sonata. I really wanted to return to being a Sonata owner. I had purchased a Kia Forte about two years ago. My experience at the Kia dealership was dreadful. I was lied to, even when we asked that the process be sped up we spent over three hours completing paperwork, with the business agent getting up and leaving and returning to the office.My husband offered to go out and start the process of looking for a new Sonata. I was recently the victim of a hit and run accident and was forced much to my dismay to purchase a new vehicle because my car was totalled. I was not at all in the market for a new car and really didn't know what I wanted or where to start looking. I had shopped around several other dealerships before visiting Inver Grove and was extremely disappointed by the lack of customer service and the extreme pressure to buy a car I was not at all interested in. My experience with Steve was exactly the opposite. He was patient, friendly and extremly sympathetic to my situation, and I truly felt like he was concerned with helping me find the right car for me. I voiced my discouragement with other dealerships, and Steve really tried and succeeded in making the car buying process less painful and unpleasant than my previous encounters. I'm very pleased with my new car and I truly appreciate the hard work and great care in which my needs were handled.

I have been working with Mike Said for a few years now. He is by far the most pleasant salesman I have ever worked with. Always a great transaction. I have gotten two new cars from Mike. Hyundai has great cars for the money, and Inver Grove Hyundai has a great selection. Mike is a wonderful person to work with, friendly, accommodating, and has always gotten me a fantastic car. Most recently, Angie helped facilitate the purchase of my newest vehicle, and was wonderful and friendly as well. I couldn't ask for a more understanding, accommodating, and friendly staff to purchase a new vehicle from. I can't see myself working with anyone else in the near future. Went in for a test drive on a Saturday and was very happy with the service from Chris. There was no pressure in buying at all. I went in very much interested in the Hyundai Veloster turbo manual, which Chris told me was very rare and I wanted a black one at that. Gave my deposit and Chris said it would be about three weeks. That Wednesday after my test drive, he sent me an e-mail with my new black car waiting for me! Went in the same day and signed the papers and off I went. Absolutely love the service and the people. Everyone was awesome and friendly and worked very VERY hard to get me what I wanted. They didn't make me any promises, just said they would try their best and they did! I will definitely go to them again in the future and would recommend them to my friends and family if they are looking for a Hyundai dealership!

I had gone into this dealership in the middle of the week just to look at cars and test drive. Chris was very helpful of filling me in with the knowledge I needed to know about the car. I then came back later that week with my dad, unsure of if we were going to buy the car I checked out but he wanted to check it out for himself. Chris was honest with everything, and I did not feel like I was being played at all by any means. A couple days later when I bought the car, there was a starter problem, I brought it back and they are currently fixing the issue without a problem! I had a great experience with this dealer.

I bought my car here in 2004. I decided on Hyundai because of the Warranty. But when my car failed me and the engine (power-train) stopped working the dealership did not stand behind their 10year/100,000 mile warranty which my car qualified for. When I asked if they'd consider a trade for my '04 Elantra they said it was worth $200! I will never make the mistake of buying a Hyuandai or buying a car from this dealership. Ever. I warn all my friends and family. Why do they say they have "America's Best Warranty"? When they don't stand behind it. Also when they looked at my car and determined it was my engine they tried to make me pay $300 for them not to cover my powertrain. They also said to come and get my car off of their property.If you like being treated poorly after spending $14,000 for a car for years this is the place for you. If not, find a great dealership!

We were casually looking at trading our old Tucson for a new one and showed up at Inver Grove Hyundai without an appointment. Mike Parr greeted us when we walked in and we started the conversation. Even though he knew we might not be seriously looking he spared no effort to show us exactly what's new for the 2013 Tucson. We even took it for a ride. We left and he followed up the next day with further information. There was never any pressure, just great service. I bought my car, a 2010 Sonata almost two years ago from Terry in the Sales department. He was professional and didn't play games. I was able to figure out a comfortable payment for the vehicle and received a reasonable price for my trade. Unlike the Nissan Dealer down the road the week before (3 problems with a used car within 24 hrs and my having to consider legal action to get my trade-in car back), this car had no problems. I bought it with 45K on it and it now has around 70k. No problems with one exception. My starter went out last weekend. I was able to drop the vehicle off and pick it up the next day. The repair was covered under my warranty plan -I did have to pay a $100 deductible, but it was better than $500 for the starter and labor without a warranty. The only disappointment was that there was not a loaner available-according to the service guy -all week. The staff here have always been professional and seem to treat everyone the same regardless of age, race or creed. Their customer service is why I've taken the time to write this review, and why I recommend Hyundai to my friends and family. Unless something changes drastically, I already know I'll be buying my next car at Inver Grove Hyundai. Joel -Saint Paul

My first reason for visiting Inver Grove Hyundai was to test drive a Santa Fe because I was in the market for a used SUV. As I got out of my car Andy approached my son and I and asked us if he could be of any help to us. I explained to him what I was looking for and the Price point I wanted to stay in. Also I told him that I was just starting my search for a suv. He showed us around and we found one I wanted to test drive. We went for the test drive and he explained a lot about the vechicle and put no preasure on us. I was impressed with him and the car but I told him I had just started my search and he said fine and if I wanted to come back to drive the car again, I was welcome any time and gave me his card. I went back a week later and they had a few more cars in and I asked to test drive two that I thought I would like. They were both great and we sat down and he helped me decide which one best suited me. He was funny, kind,and patient. Overall it was a great experience. I got the car I wanted at the Price I wanted to pay! I have to say that everyone I met at the dealership was was very professional and I would highly recommend Inver Grove Hyundai to anybody who wants a great deal with great sales people

The reason why I rated this dealership poorly are as followed : I purchased a vehicle from this dealership five months ago, two months later, there is a brake issue. With less than 2000 miles since purchase, they "repair"the brakes at no cost. That is awesome IF the issue is then resolved. But it was not. About two months later, the same problem comes back. At this point I am upset because of the amount of money I spent on the car just five months earlier. I take the car back to the dealership and this time I am told that it will cost 700 dollars to fix the same problem!!?? Cy tried to help but there was nothing else he could do. My anger is with the dealership and the car maker. Do they not think the car should have working brakes upon purchase? At any rate, I cannot afford such a fix. So hopefully the bbb or attorney general can help. Try to be responsible and buy a nice car with an extended warranty to protect myself and this is what it gets me. I should have just bought another junker for 1000.

Despite the fact that I will always wish I'd paid less for my new Hyundai Elantra Touring, and just who doesn't wish that, Bruce Jensen, the salesperson at Inver Grove Hyundai served me well. When the car I wanted wasn't in stock, they found one elsewhere and had it brought in for me to purchase. I note that Bloomington Luther Hyundai claimed that the car I wanted was not available anywhere in the region. To put it bluntly, they either lied, since two hours later Inver Grove Hyundai found the car I wanted. They got the money, and the Rudy Luther dealership didn't. Draw your own conclusions.

Phenomenal experience! I drove 90 miles to deal with Inver Grove Hyundai, and it was totally worth it. I wanted an Accent SE, but had pretty specific requirements, including wanting a manual transmission. I was told finding a hatchback Accent with a manual was very difficult. There simply were not many produced. The closest one that might be available was in Ohio!The sales people initially said I may not see a car for 3-4 weeks, and that was an optimistic hope. However, thanks to the hard work and professional know-how of the team at Inver Grove Hyundai, I drove a new car home in about a week!Mike Parr, the salesman I worked with, kept in contact with me about every development. He was professional, yet casual. Calls, email, text, we talked in any way it worked well. He worked very hard to get my car, and make sure I was happy.Jessica Braun worked very hard for me in finance. My credit was mediocre, but she worked with multiple banks and got me an amazing rate of 2.8%! She is very helpful, knowledgeable, and sweet. She made the finance process painless, and believe it or not, enjoyable! She seems to truly care about the customer on an individual basis.I am very happy with my experience at Inver Grove Hyundai, and I really like my new Accent!

I loved working with this dealership. I had always used a dealership in White Bear, and didn't realize how fun it could be to buy a car. The team at I worked with started out by really listening to me. Tomas started out by letting me talk, he wanted to know what I was looking for. So he picked out 2 cars that he thought I would like...I loved the first one! I hate shopping in general and just want to get it over with. The staff was really nice and helpful, even the lady working at the front desk. Michael Parr was a phenomenal salesperson. He was on the sidewalk waving to us when we arrived at the dealership without an appointment. He asked us what we were looking for and gave us the keys to try out some cars. He knew how to operate all the gadgets and equipment on the dashboard and explained the advantages and disadvantages of lots of features, like the alloy wheels and the shark fin antennae. He stayed past closing time to help us make our decision and gave us the space and time we needed to think about our choices. Had to take my vehicle to another dealer to fix a problem. They had my vehicle for over a week and fixed a different problem only for it to return 1 week later, then they told me they would not warrent the work that they just did. It usually takes more than 1 visit to fix any problem there.

Had a horrible experience this past month with Inver Grove Hyundai. Bought a car a month ago, they came back to me 3 weeks later asking me for more money.. On top of that when I gave them their car back they had informed me they had sold my car and had no way to get it back. I was promised many things over and over with many different sales people there, and none of them came through. In my opinion they all act like they know everything, but actually know very little.

My 2010 Sonata was down shifting hard into 1st gear. Called Inver Grove service then brought it in for repair. They needed to keep it overnight (I knew in advance, so not an issue). I was in and out in minutes both when I dropped the car off and when I picked it up. I really don't know how my experience could have been any better. 5/5 or 10/10! The required repair was a software upgrade for the tranny (a Hyundai problem that worries me), but Inver Grove's service was nothing but the best!

I went to Inver Grove Hyundai for a new Genesis Coupe. The introduction, test drive, and Q and A went fine, but the visit went downhill on the pricing. They claimed to be offering me the "invoice" price for the car and stressed what a great deal that was. However, a quick search on the website for a nearby dealer (Morries Hyundai) found the exact same car for $700 less. This means either Inver Grove is paying too much for their cars, Morries is taking a bath, or the "invoice" price was not really the lowest price they could offer. I was also quoted a trade in for my Audi A4 of $13,500 (including an extra $500 coupon from the dealer). The KBB value was $14000 or more. I turned down the offer and went to Morries instead which offered me $14,300, an $800 improvement, and I bought the Coupe. I don't think Inver Grove was very transparent and was more interested in playing games than getting me in a car. It cost them a sale as a result. The inventory at Inver Grove is fine but if you decide to get a car there, do your homework first as they may try to cash in at your expense!

I went to Inver Grove Hyundai to look for a new car, I told them what I wanted to spend and what I wanted my payments to be. I expected the usual car dealer/salesman BS and boy was I surprised. They went above and beyond what I expected, they weren't pushy or egotistical at all. My salesman, Thomas Robinson, was awesome! he was so nice and funny and warm that I felt like I made a new friend. Terrible experience. Misrepresented the product. We drove 3 1/2 hrs. to pick up a certified pre-owned 2010 Elantra. Transaction made over the phone. Both the salesperson and the used car manager assured us the car "looked new," had had a "fussy" owner, and "body is perfect." Within five seconds of looking at the car, we saw multiple deep scratches raked across the rear driver's side quarter panel, extending around onto the rear bumper. We pointed it out to Bill, who claimed several things in a row. (1) He "didn't know" the damage was there. (2) "The car was all dusty and dirty and was just washed." (3) "It probably can't be buffed out or they would have already." (4) "What do you expect? It's not new." Each comment was progressively less credible, more offensive, and further from honesty and integrity. We chose higher ground. We got our deposit refund and walked away, even though we were out $100 in gas and a whole day's drive. In our opinion, this dealership is not worthy of representing Hyundai products. We'll buy our new Hyundai someplace else. We've owned them since 2001 and love the quality, durability, and trouble-free cars. There are many Hyundai dealers--we encourage you to shop someplace else, too!

We purchased our Santa Fe this past spring. The whole experience has been so easy and FUN! We made an appointment and Will Gochez was prepared for us when we arrived, answered all of our questions, made sure we were confident in our purchase and even made sure our phone was synced to the car before we left. Everytime I have had the car in for normal service - he comes over to say hello. He has been wonderful with information on the new model cars coming in as we are considering a new or used car for this next spring (2012). We have recommended friends to him - of which one did buy their Elantra from Will! They love him, too. Though we have wonderful things to say about purchasing our Santa Fe... its even better to say that the service people have been stunning, too. Everything is easy, quick and explained well and respectfully. My car is always clean - and it never requires another trip "because its still not right." Quick story - first cold snap the dreaded yellow warning light appears on the dash. I just drove the Santa Fe to IGH Hyundia. The doors open - and I apologize because I am horrible with names - but one of the guys that helps me often smiles at me when I pull in. Takes a look at the light and says " Oh, no problem! I can fix that and have you back out in 4mns." 4 MINUTES! It took 6 mns only because I thanked him so much - it was the low tire warning light. He didn't make me feel silly. He check and aired all 4 tires and sent me on my very happy, and safe, way. Love it! I will buy another car from Will Gochez and have it serviced at IGH Hyundia because EVERYONE cares and has pride in what they are doing. Way to go!

My experience with Inver Grove Hyundai was outstanding. Thomas was thrilled for me when my new Elantra came in early. He explained everything in detail and made sure I was well informed about the operation of the vehicle. Every time I come back to the dealership for service or even a car wash he always greets me with a big smile and a friendly handshake. I have recommended this dealership to several people and I am thoroughly pleased with my new Elantra. It handles beautifully in the snow and the mileage is phenomenal. I will definitely return to Inver Grove Hyundai several years from now when it is time for a new car.

I had stopped in to have my 2006 Santa Fe serviced, and I thought I would talk to a salesperson because of all the emails and mailings I have received telling me that this was a great time to buy, and trade ins on low mileage vehicles were very good. Will made the experience of buying a car very pleasant, even fun. Jessica made the paperwork experience very enjoyable. All in all, a very favorable experience.

I was looking to purchase a used car for my college age daughter. I have had great luck purchasing new vehicles from this dealership so I decided to give buying a used car a try. It was a great experience. We spotted a car on the website and called to inquire about it. Shelley our sales person had the car checked out called me back and said "it is not a car I would feel comfortable selling you." I asked her to keep a look out for a good car in the price range my daughter had. A few days later she called me back with a regarding a car that came in on a trade. I got my new car from here about two weeks ago. The experience was pretty good, the staff continuously made me feel as if they were trying to do everything they could to give me exactly what I was looking for. I ended up ordering my car, through the whole process I thought that everyone was doing their best; at times going above and beyond what you'd expect. I would definitely recommend this place, everyone is friendly and attentive. By the way, I got a Veloster and it is a fabulous car. My mind was blown at how Hyundai is making so many nice cars and this one is simply brilliant.

You will not find a nicer guy than Hung, Willing to help in every way wanted to make sure the cars he showed me fit my needs & what I wanted to buy. Gave me a fair price on the trade in. My husband and I searched for a new car with every car maker out there....We chose Hyundai, for price, value, fit and finish, and most importantly safety. We visited every Hyundai dealer in the Twin Cities area. We brought our trade in and wanted a "fair" price for our 2008 Honda Civic, we also wanted a fair price for our new purchase the 2012 Hundai Tucson. We first visited Buerkle Hyundai being we bought our 2008 Honda there we wanted to be loyal. They would not offer us a fair price on our trade but wanted us to pay top dollar for a used Honda being they held their value. I don't even want to talk about that experience. Let's just say we were not pleased with their trade offer or new car price for their Hyundais. To sum up why we bought and WILL buy again at Inver grove Hyundai, exceptional service NO messing around with bartering. A fair price for new and trade in value. I was impressed by the friendliness of Mike and his knowledge of the product he was selling. I had visited many different dealerships before I got to Inver Grove Hyundai. None of the other dealerships, (not all Hyundai) gave me the detailed information about the car and its safety features. I learned more about the car I finally bought than any other car I have ever owned! I had a trailer hitch installed on the car before I came to take possession. This was done in a very professional and timely manner. Mike made sure that I knew how to operate everything on the car before I drove it off the lot and that I knew who to call if I had any questions or problems in the future. Let me start by saying, in general, I'd rather have my toenails pried off with a spoon while getting a sedation free root canal than deal with buying a new car. The phrase "what's it going to take to get you to drive out of here in a new car" makes me want to inflict serious injury on the person asking. That said, I had never dealt with this or any Hyundai dealer, I assumed it would be more of the same. I was wrong. Upon arrival, we were immediately met by Hung, our sales rep. He was quite friendly and asked what we were looking for (commuter car, good mileage). I gave him two models I was interested in and he immediately recommened the less expensive model, as it was a better fit with what I said I wanted. Long story short, the service was friendly and excellent. All of his questions were geared toward finding out what I really wanted in a car and he worked hard to help me find it. They even provided a free (high-end) loaner car to help me avoid having to buy new license tabs for my trade-in while I waited for the new car to be delivered. Great experience, no heckling, Hung is phenominal. And noone ever asked "what it would take to get me into a new car today". Highly recommend Inver Grove Hyundai!

Hung met us at the door the first time we came there. He had a big smile on his face. He was very nice to us. We were surprised that a car would actually be coming in and that we could pay down on it. One thing that bothered us was the trade in offered to us for our car. Our car was definitely in GOOD condition. We were offered a price for the car that would fall below fair. We had a newspaper with us and a price list from Kelly blue book. The newspaper ad was what brought us to this dealership. The ad stated that $1,000.00 over the kelly blue book price would be given for our vehicle. We ended up selling the car to somebody that we knew. Other than that, our overall experience was exceptionally nice. Hung took good care of us. He even offered to deliver our new car right to our home. He made sure that he went over everything in the car before we took it from the lot.We ended up purchasing the extended warranty and the coating. Hung offered to pick up the car and leave a car for us to use plus delivering the car back to our house.Both of us felt that the two hours was a bit too long for taking the car. Perhaps there is some way that you could speed that part up.I'm writing all of this because the computer says that I have to have a least 250 words. That also is excessive. I would have written that we were very happy with the service.

I went to the dealership with my cousin as she was in search of a vehicle.We were aproached by Hanafy and that was the best thing that happened to us. His approach was non threating...the right amount of humor...sincerity kindness and respect.There was non of the negative "stuff" associated with car sales men..in listening to Hanafy talk about the Elantra i started wondering if this was something i should be considering as well...I was no more in the market for a car than the man on the moon.my car was 3 years old with less than 30,000 miles. By the end of the night i asked him what it would take for me to get into this vehicle too...and the next thing I knew I was waiting (like many others) for a car. After 3 weeks, one was found and i LOVE IT !!!!! this is the reason for the Friendliness & customer service/overall rating(which were all reflections and due to Hanafy.Pricing speaks for itself I got into a lease for about 20.00 more a month than my Saturn Ion with a lot more car. That would be the reason for the pricing rating. I changed my rating to n/a on quality of work since this was a sale and not for work that was done. I however am having an issue with my car that i have already notified Hanafy about he has stepped in to see what he could do to help the issue has not been resolved as of yet but i have every reason to believe that right will be done by me.the night i went to look at the car that was brought in for me i test drove it and it died on the hiway it turned out to be the alternator the issue that is present now is the clock and radio wont stay set.
