He spent a lot of time explaining the car system and navigation, and we really appreciate his willingness to help us.Unfortunately our new car had a broken car handle and the paint was peeling off of the driver's side mirror. Really quick and efficient service. Didn't even need to make an appointment. I showed up for walk-in oil change and it was done in 30 mins. The customer lounge was nice and clean with free water and they had a monitor showing how much time is left on your service so you are always informed. Great and friendly staff.

Was a little hesitant and doubtful when I first went in, they were very busy and had to fit us in. However the and work did repair the issue was a bit on the expensive side but I'm quite happy with the with the way that my 2008 F1 50 super duty is running. Dealerships are a bit more expensive for repairs but in this case, was worth it.

Staff was friendly. Facilities were clean.When I took receipt of my vehicle after being serviced, the driver seat was in the original position, however the passenger seat was fully reclined. Would've been nice to have the seat put back in the position I brought the car in.

I have owned my Escape Hybrid for over 10 years and purchased it new at Jim Burke. It has always been serviced at Jim Burke when the time for service was reached. Since I only have 74,000 miles I have to go by time rather than mileage. I have always been satisfied with the service and maintain my Escape in top shape. I can not complain about about the service and only have one complaint (since I am very picky, When they test the windshield and back window washers they never wipe down afterward and leave both windows and some of the paint work water spotted. I am always surprised that no one as ever told them to wipe down after testing the washers. Then again you would think I would be use to it after 10 years.

The buying experience was excellent and even better when I came back to the dealership to get my oil changed as per contract. I was able to speak with the person who leased me my vehicle and the young man who is probably 20 remembered us. He took the time to speak to us about our satisfaction with are focus. He even went on taking His valuable time to tell us about the new vehicles that will be coming out when our current lease was over. The only problem I had was in the service department when I would call they told me my oil did not need to be changed (and I called several times) as they said I did not have enough miles yet. Then when I got there the lady behind the desk told me that i needed it changed every 6 months regardless of the milage. So I m confused when to get it changed or if they will change my oil despite my milage. Furthermore, I think it would be helpful to just give a greater detail of the service performed.

I had a problem with installation of a new set of tires...one of my alloy wheels was damaged. The problem was swiftly resolved, resulting in a perfect repair of the wheel at no charge to me. This is the usual high-end customer service that I am used to at JBF. Highly recommended.

Well my husband and I are very pleased with our experience at Jim Burke Ford! On a Friday afternoon we decided to check out the SUV's and ended up purchasing a Ford F150 Platinum. We were so impressed with Truck and all the top safety ratings that we decided to purchase one. We were very pleased with the salesman Chad Yost and appreciated his no pressure approach. He was very knowledgeable regarding the Ford products. He answered all of our question and explained features that we didn't even know to ask about! He carefully walked us through the functionality of each feature during our test drive and on the lot. The F150 is truly a remarkable vehicle! An equal mix of luxury, sportiness and technology! He walked us through the term of the contract so that there would be no surprise's. All and all he made our car buying experience extremely pleasant one. We would highly recommend Jim Burke Ford dealership in Bakersfield and ask for Chad Yost "The Ford Guy"! :)

In my opinion the service levels have gotten better! it seems that service times have improved and the job has gotten done in less time than estimated. It is comforting to know you use genuine Ford Parts. Its nice to look out the window of the shop and see for example the new oil filter that is going to be used sitting next to your car keys. Well, I always have received great service at ford. And I believe the technicians do a really good job. The truck I drive is a 2013 F-150 with 22,000 miles. It is taken care of by ford, and I drive the vehicle with care. I am confident I will be able to drive this truck for many more years. I purchased the truck from Nicole Martinez, and I can't say enough good about her, she is full of product knowledge, and she has proven to me to be a reliable resource to me.

I bought a used 2013 Focus. Car was extremely clean. Prior to me receiving the car they replaced one missing clip and filled the tank up. All of the staff from the receptionist, the salesman and the lady that wrote up all of the documents where very friendly. I knew that my credit wasn't the best but I still got 1.9% financing, better than my credit union could have given me. This was the most comfortable I've ever been purchasing a car. 2014 Ford Raptor is my second Raptor. The first was a 2012. Service is very good but they had to order the part twice as the first time the order was wrong, so I had to go back twice for the repair. I was without my Raptor for twice the amount of time. I am not resentful about this as the issue was handled well. Lupe does a good job as a service writer, and I was treated nicely.

2013 Fiesta SE. Always excellent service. Feel the transmission department has gone above and beyond all normal efforts required to address my concern. Tech Rony Ricno went the extra mile to duplicate my concerns. Even so much as to try and duplicate my specific driving habits. His excellent efforts and communication made all the difference in the world. My service advisor Lindsey continually kept me informed in the progress and assured me the repair was performed in a proper and efficient manor. The support staff Including Kat in the customer lounge and Mickey Wade the courtesy van driver all made me feel at ease. First of all, I am a Ford guy---love your f250s. A year and a half ago I went shopping for a 2015 f250 Lariat. I have to say that our salesperson, Marcus Hampton, did s superb job presenting your vehicles to me. I love the "no pressure" experience I had----I bought the truck I wanted and at the same time told myself that the next time I purchase, I would be looking for Marcus again. Well this past weekend my wife and I went shopping to look at and test drive some SUVs at various dealers. We ended up at Ford---and Marcus happened to be passing by as we were parking. He immediately recognized me and commented on how my truck was doing. He was busy with another customer at this time, but he asked what were we shopping for----he pointed my wife and me in that direction and apologized for not being able to attend to us right at this moment. I looked at my wife and she looked at at---we told him to finish his business--we will be looking around and will wait for him. Long start short----without pressure from Marcus---we ended up leasing a new Ford Sport Edge for my wife. Our experience with Ford and Marcus was fabulous. I will return again in about 3 years to look at the new trucks and possibly a Mustang car----and you can bet that we will be asking for Marcus.

This was the fifth used vehicle we have purchased from Jim Burke Ford. We did purchase a brand new Ford F150 PU truck some 15 years ago. We have been very pleased with the used vehicles we have purchased from Jim Burke Ford over the years we have live in Bakersfield. When I need a vehicle Jim Burke Ford is generally the first place I look. Overall this purchase went well, however the final paperwork processing was slow. We waited some 1.5 to 2.0 hours to sign papers that only took 30 minutes or less of our time once we finally got at it. It wasn't an unusual busy day either, there was one other customer signing papers prior to ours. Our salesman, Greg Cormier, did a fine job overall with our sale and is to be commended. Thank you.

The work was fairly prompt. The only concern I had was that the repair that was made was under warranty the first time and the issue reoccurred again. I was told that since the first repair Ford had come up with a better way to fix the problem so that it would not occur again. I feel that it should of been covered since Ford initial way to repair was insufficient.I was very happy with the staff and work completed.

I have always had my 2006 Escape serviced at Jim Burke since I bought it new there. I have always been happy with the service I have received. I have only thing that bothers me. I bring in a clean car and take home a car with the windshield and and back glass spotted and streaked. This is because they always check the windshield washers, but never take the time to wipe the windows off afterward.

I have a 2015 f150. The back up camera stop working. They had to reset my system to get it working. The only issue I had is when I got the truck I wish someone would have gone over more stuff when I picked up the truck. When they reset my system it changed some of my light settings and I did not know until it was dark and I had to drive. Was frustrating trying to get it right in the dark.

The entire searching and purchasing experience was beyond expectations. Nicole was extremely gracious helping us even looking at vehicles in the automall location. We ended up not buying anything our first visit, and came back 2 weeks later to look again and purchase a nice 2015 Edge. She made the entire process very easy and went above and beyond to make sure we test drove and sat in several different models and trim packages to feel what Ford had to offer. My wife and I enjoyed test driving nearly a dozen vehicles before finding what we wanted and could afford. Nicole made extra effort to spend time showing us how all the gadgets work, and giving us a tutorial of some of the more advanced features. She even invited us to come back after a little time (like a week or more) to go over some more features once we've gotten used to the basics. Overall the experience was fantastic.

I brought my 1999 Ford Explorer in because it was making lots of noise, and I thought the engine was trying to fall out of the car. They figured out that it was a something pulley and a belt. I was close to time for an oil change, so I did that, too. It was about a 3 hour wait, but there was no "free" water, or coffee, or donuts, either. That was a little disappointing. Also, now there is oil or red fluid (transmission?) making small puddles in my driveway. But, the people were very nice.

Gabriel was excellent to deal with. Parts for the door latch repair were delayed. Ford Sync and GPS system was upgraded. Other issues were not able to be duplicated and thus no corrective action was taken. The Focus rental car was a major disappointment. I had expected a like vehicle as a rental. Ford only authorized the disappointing Focus with transmission issues (known to the dealership). The known 35 mpg Focus got only 16 mpg as compiled by mileage driven and fuel added to bring it back to the rental division statement that the tank was full when delivered. Either that was a false statement or the vehicle has major fuel delivery issues. Upon checking out, the premium warranty $100.00 deductible rose to over $200. When pointed out to Gabriel, he went back and adjusted the amount to the warranty stipulations of 100.00.

My father worked in Detroit and delivered ores to the then Ford Plant that made their own steel for the cars. My late husband was a salesman for Mr Burke in the late 70's and 80's before he moved on to real estate. He was their top salesman.I never was interested in Fords even though my dad had the Z plan and my husband worked for Ford. I always liked sports cars.I was totally dreading the experience of purchasing a new car by myself, wanted a sports car, and knew that I had to be practical. Robert Reyna at Jim Burke Ford was great. I researched what I wanted and he was able to provide me with a number of choices.I have taken time to respond to this reply survey until I have had time to drive my car. I purchased a new car. It was raining when we drove off the lot. The next day when I cleaned the car I found factory grease pencil marks still on the rims and tires, the engine compartment was dirty. the engine was covered in dust and there were leaves in the engine compartment. The tire pressure in all four tires were 30 lb. not the recommended 36 lb. and the spare was at 35 lb. not the recommended 60 lb. I have been buying cars at Jim Burke Ford for almost 40 years and this it the first time I had a problem.

I came to Jim Burke Ford in Bakersfield to lease a 2016 C-Max SE Hybrid due to my 2014 Ford Fiesta SE being rear-ended and deemed a total loss by my insurance company. Chad Yost had worked with my mother and her boyfriend a couple weeks before the accident (10/1) and was very polite, informative, and helpful per what I was told by my mother. She suggested I work with Chad on getting a new vehicle and that he would be able to do pretty much most of the process over text, phone, and/or Internet. Since I work as an IT Technician, for me e-mail was the best method overall since I have to check my e-mail a lot throughout the day.Chad was very accommodating with providing quotes, window sticker links for vehicles, etc., all over e-mail. He also was quick to reply to any inquiries I had throughout the process, kept me up-to-date on what was going on, and actually listened to what I was looking for and made it happen.I personally dislike going to Bakersfield (sorry if I offend any loyal Bakersfield residents), so for me to drive a little over two hours means a lot and it was due to Chad being so helpful throughout the whole process. The showroom was clean, the staff I ran into aside from Chad were very polite, and I didn't feel pressured at all by Chad or by the financing department.I ended up leasing the 2016 C-Max SE Hybrid and I must say...I love it! I've only had it a couple days, but for being my first hybrid vehicle I really like how smooth it runs and how quiet it is overall. My wife and I took it to go grocery shopping the other night and we loved how simple it was to load the grocery bags in the trunk. The C-Max is deceivingly small from the outside, but when you get inside it is very spacious. I drive roughly fifty miles a day to and from work, so fuel economy was another factor in why I chose the C-Max. Another reason I chose the C-Max as well and specifically the 2016 model, is that it had the updated Sync 3 system installed which I like so much more than the previous Sync system by Microsoft.I liked how Chad was not pushy at all, very mild-mannered, and rather straight-forward during the process. For me this was perfect, especially since after working in retail myself (Geek Squad) for about four years, customer service is key. It definitely says a lot to come out all that way and have the process that normally takes four to six hours depending, be cut down to two and half hours.If you want someone who is courteous, not pushy, emphatic, and makes every effort to take care of you throughout the process, then Chad Yost is who you need to see on your next car purchase.Thank you again from both my family to you, Chad!

All the people at the service dept were as friendly and helpful as they could be. I was extremely frustrated that I had to wait days for service on a known (to Ford) bad part that should have been in stock. Also I was informed by the service dept of the other location in town that Ford had a new policy that all of the door latches would be replaced instead of just the one that broke - this was not done, which means I will have to deal with more inconvenience and money when the others fail. That is my only complaint as far as the service dept goes. All the rest I understand is a Ford issue that is out of the dealership's hands. Overall I'm very happy with the service dept.

Had a great experience purchasing my focus ST. Other than some other guy trying to buy it while I was on my test drive, the experience was great. They were short handed and still able to get to me relitively quickly. The sales man was great, and knew the product, while signing the contract everything was explained to me in great detail (unlike some other dealerships I'd been to), and they made me very comfortable while I waited. I was tired of Volkswagens service getting worse and worse everytime my car had a problem (which was frequent), and I couldn't find a reason why I was still paying such a high price for this. So I came over to Ford to get the 2016 Fusion, which was a lot newer than my car, seemed more reliable, and was significantly cheaper. I was attended to greatly, all of my questions and concerns were covered, and there was no hassle in switching cars and having everything taken care of. My service agent was Joey Cortez. When I was first towed to Jim Burke Ford Joey said it would most likely take until 9/1 for my car to be repaired, this was on 8/25. Joey did say he would do what he could to get my car repaired faster if he could. To tell the truth, I thought since it was "warranty" work I would be put on the back burner because Ford was not making any money off of me. That was not the case at all. Three days later, Joey was on the phone telling me my car was ready to go! Great job Joey! He was friendly and available. What more can a girl ask for? The ladies who shuttled me around were wonderful, as well as the vehicle I rode in. I must say, Jim Burke Ford hires wonderful people. I could not be happier (except if they would have washed my car, but that was not expected winky face goes here). You have a great team. Thank you for your prompt service!!!

Time I arrived into the service Ally to the time I left I had a fun experience. Thank you Lopez was able to accommodate all of my needs and take care of my service needs at the time. Is pleasing smiling exceptional personality made it a pleasant experience once again visiting the gym for Ford service area. Really disappointed that there was no courtesy car wash . Improvements made in the lounge area were very desirable and definitely gave it a more pleasing atmosphere to visit I even wiped the status report for the quick service

I had my last service before my 4 yr service plan runs out. Had them check over a bunchof things and they did all of it. Also found a nail in my tire, so gave me a good quoteto replace them. I Miss my car being cleaned though.

I have always ONLY purchase Toyota all my driving years. I was about to buy a 4-Runner.I am so glad that someone talked me into test driving a Ford first, before the purchase the New Toyota. We could not find an Explorer in your stock that met our needs and Mike worked until he found one which we picked up on Friday the 14th. I drove by to just see what you had in stock, I saw a van on the used car side and decided to get out and take a look. Before I made it to the van Auggie was already headed towards me. I told him I only deal through Vaughn Karibian, he said that's good because they are on the same team, then Auggie picked up the phone and called Vaughn. Service was great, price fair, and I walked out with two Vans. Overall another great purchasing experience.

Great except I think the personal customer service has disappeared. They use to walk out to your car and check the mileage but no more, they just ask. Use to have a procedure where they checked the exterior for any damage and noted it so Ford would not be held responsible if a dishonest customer blamed them, no more. The old hands on in that respect has disappeared. Technology and saving a few steps has taken over.

I had purchased a Fiesta which has had issues. Service loaned me a car while mine was getting repaired. When it was clear it would take a long time and due to some other issues with it I contacted your corporate office and made a claim for a lemon. Had a bad battery and immediately called in to see if it could get checked out. My vehicle, Ford Explorer 2014, is only 1year and a half old so it was strange that the battery was acting up. I was told to go in and got there a bit early. My vehicle was looked at right away and needed a battery replacement. It was all done pretty quickly and I was able to enjoy the rest of my Saturday. I'm a happy customer cause the problem was resolved smoothly and quickly.

Took our Ford Escape 2011 in for regular service. I did call ahead to get it in line so that I didn't have a long wait. Although it was about 30 min. after the time I was given our car was serviced quickly, I was also given all the information about tires, brakes fluids etc. My service advisor informed me that they suggested we needed to replace our rear shocks at some point but not necessarily today, I decided to just do it and they also put the new shocks on in the time that she said it would take to complete. Very happy with the visit to the Quick Lane.

I was not excited to do my service at Ford, just because I thought it would take forever and it would be super busy. But I was extremely surprised by the whole experience. First, there was a little wait, but once my car got in the stall, it went really quickly. Second, super competitive prices. I love a deal. Third, loved the waiting room. Watched a little TV, checked some emails, had a snack, all was good. I'll be back.

We purchased a F150 two years ago and we have been very pleased with the vehicle and the service since the purchase. My husband took it in for service the other day and the windshield wipers had pieces of rubber hanging off it. He asked if they could replace them expecting to pay for it. He was told it was covered. Upon entering the car lot, we were not pounced upon by any salesmen! So refreshing! We were able to walk amongst the cars without interruption. When we were ready to ask questions we walked to the showroom entrance. Just before entering we met Rob Boyd. What a great salesman! He answered all our questions and encouraged us to drive several vehicles to get a feel for them. After several more visits and test drives, we purchased a 2015 Ford Explorer Limited! The staff did their job . The problem is with Ford. After four visits my car(2015 mustang eco boost) is still not fixed!!! Ford has no solution for my car's problem The check engine light is indicating a mystery problem I was advised to continue driving the car until Ford could resolve the issue. I told my service person that I was uncomfortable doing that, but, as I have only one car. My only option is "Drive it until it breaks". That is an option that does not build my confidence to continue to do business with Ford.

The person at the front desk greeted us when we walked in the Quick Lane. We told her we wanted to get the brakes done. She said they would call us when they had the estimate, and what needed to be authorized. They called in about an hour to let us know the details. We agreed to have both sets of brakes done. They did an excellent job.I would have wished they would have explained more about the credit card you offer.

I bought my 2012 Ford Fusion back in November of 2014. It developed a whining noise, so I stopped by Jim Burke Ford and set up an appointment to get is checked out. Finally the day of my appointment, I take my car in, drive it with one of the mechanics, Mike, so he could hear the whining noise. He heard it and said they would get it repaired for me. I had no way of getting home while they worked on my car, so they have a shuttle that will pick you up, both ways. Micky, the driver of the shuttle was very nice and I enjoyed both trips with her. Finally, about 4:00 PM, I hadn't heard anything back from Jim Burke Ford about my car, so I called them, talked to Kaycee and she said that my car was fixed and ready to be picked up. About 30 minutes Micky was here to pick me up and take me back to the garage. My car is no longer making the whining noise and is running great. All-in-all, good job, well done.

Absolutely love working with Rob Boyd. I've Leased two cars through him and looking forward to my third. He's always very helpful, available and has a good knowledge of the vehicles and also what else is out there. He is a no-pressure kind of guy, but will spend his time with you! Thanks for being great, Rob! PS -- I also use their QuickLane for my oil changes, even on my non-Fords. Bring it in, gets done within the hour... no appointment, and there's always coupons on the QuickLane site.

Horrible experience! My fiance & I have been considering purchasing a mustang GT. We went to the dealership with the intentions of test driving & purchasing a vehicle. We ask twice if we can test drive it the salesman says that the general manager said that it would NOT be possible for us to test drive the vehicle because they only want people with the intentions of buying the car test driving it since the vehicle had 30 miles. Okay? how do you expect people to purchase a vehicle if you don't allow them to test drive it& how does the salesmen/ general manager know that we weren't going with the intentions of buying a vehicle? I was livid! My overall experience was just terrible. So goodbye Jim Burke Ford, Hello Galpin Ford (:

Took my vehicle in for collusion repair on a Monday afternoon decided to leave it there thinking its Jim Burke For its definitely in good hands not knowing I was totally wrong as a week went by no work was done to my vehicle so the following Monday I received a call stating my vehicle will soon be worked on as soon as its approved by the insurance agency which was fine I can understand this takes time, shortly after I was told that my vehicle has been broken into everything that I've worked hard for was stolen including an aftermarket sound system which price range from $5,000 in electronics, I was in shock like how could this have happened to my vehicle that was I though to be in good hands, what makes the situation worse turns out that someone left the windows down & left doors unlocked which made for an easy steal, this should of never happened where was security, why were my windows left rolled down & doors unlocked who is responsible for these mistakes, I will never again take my vehicle for any repairs or would I recommend Jim Burke Ford to anyone ever again"
