A couple of years ago I bought a Ford Focus. I was hoping to make a trade for a larger car, but didn't know if it would be possible. I had mentioned my desire to trade and expressed my concern to Chris Street,!$ that I didn't it would be possible. Chris took the initiative and started looking for me! One day I got a call. Chris Street at Jim Hayes Inc, goes above and beyond everytime my family or I need assistance with purchasing a vehicle. I bought a jeep from Jim Hayes almost two years ago, to this day Chris continues to call and make sure I am completely satisfied. If any problems ever arise a phone call to Chris and it is taken care of. Working odd hours of the day, Chris will come and get your vehicle and allow the maintenance that needs to be done get done and bring vehicle back to your location. Chris always keeps customer satisfaction his #1 priority. He spends all the time an undecided customer may need, making sure their purchase is perfect for them. Chris Street at Jim Hayes, Inc. has gone above and beyond to assist me. I moved to Kentucky, and my car broke down and was totaled. I was able to get back to Harrisburg (where I'm from), and Chris stayed way past closing time to help me find and buy a new car in the two days before I had to return to work. I spoke with him on the phone and he already had two great cars ready for me to test drive when I got into town Friday night, and I walked away my new Ford Fusion by noon on Saturday. My experience with Jim Hayes has been a surprisingly excellent one. You always expect to go to a larger city and you never expect to be able to stay close to home. Well at Jim Hayes you get the big city business with the small town availability. I have bought 3 cars in the last year and a half from Jim Hayes and Chris Street. I have 4 children and 2 of them became drivers within in the last year and a half!! Chris listened to what I wanted for my children but also listened to what the hopes of my children were on their first cars. Things went smoothly and Chris was able to find cars/trucks that not only made me and my budget happy but also pleased 2 teenagers (not an easy task)! We will deal only with Chris Street and Jim Hayes when the next 2 children become driving age.

My husband and I were just out looking at vehicles not knowing exactly what we were interested in. We stopped by Jim Hayes and a sales named CHRIS STREET came to check on us. Told him we were just looking. He preceeded to not push us, which most salesman do not do. He let us continue to look at our own pace and always checked on. We told him the price range and what we had in mind for our needs. He was very helpful, knowledgable and caring to our needs and our budget. Needless to say he done his job GREAT! Jim Hayes Inc. is a wonderful place to buy a car. My wife and I have bought two cars from them in the last 18 months. The service was great! Our salesman, Chris Street, treated us like we were family! He took the time to make sure and listen to our car needs. He found just what we wanted and we couldn't be happier. My family has bought around 10 cars from Jim Hays Ford over the years. We had a certain salesman that we always went to because he gave us an agreeable price and made sure that we received quick service when we needed it. He left the company, so we were introduced to a new salesman, Chris Street. He gave us the quality service that we were used to from the other salesman. I told him I was in the market for a newer used pickup. He only called when he had a quality truck that he thought I may be interested in. Even then, he didn't try to force the truck on me, but just said to come by and look at it. If I wanted to drive it, just ask. There was no pressure to buy, nor any repeated phone calls on trucks that he knew I won't want. My wife and son both bought new vehicles from him. He threw in a few oil changes and even comes by to pick the cars up for service and brings them back when they are done. We can't ask for anything more from a car dealership and salesman. I guess that's why we've bought 10 cars there and will probably buy #11 when we're ready. Of course we'll look for Chris Street when we are in the market.

I looked all over Southern Illinois for my first new car purchase, thankfully I eventually ran into a great guy by the name of Chris Street. While most car salesman I talked to previously were more interested in pressuring you to buy anything just to make their cut, Chris truly cared about customer service and getting you what you want- at a great price. Everyone has heard horror stories about buying their first vehicle, but salesperson Chris Street and Jim Hayes, Inc. proved just how wonderful the experience could actually be! I was in the market for a used vehicle and had pretty much settled on a Ford Fusion when I visited the Jim Hayes dealership. Once there, I was assisted by Chris Street who really went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and to get me the car of my dreams. Chris was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and did not rush or pressure me in the slightest bit during the entire process. Maybe the nicest part about the experience was that Chris was more concerned about getting me the car I wanted instead of just getting me to make a purchase. The test drive was a great experience that was relaxed and actually lasted long enough for me to get a feel for the car (Not just a quick and hurried drive around the dealership). The dealership's prices cannot be beaten and they are very good about negotiating plus they are very fair on trade-in values for used vehicles! Also I received a free full tank of gas and oil change with my car. Lastly, what sets Chris and Jim Hayes apart from the rest is that once you buy a car from them they don't put you off to the side and ignore you; instead they welcome you into the Jim Hayes family. I received a check up phone call a few weeks after my purchase just to say hello and see how things were going from Chris as well as letters periodically throughout the year just thanking me for my business and letting me know how much I was appreciated. Overall, the entire experience of buying my first car could not have gone any better. I was treated so well not only by Chris, but the entire Jim Hayes staff, and I cannot ever see myself buying a vehicle from any other establishment!!

Being first time buyers and knowing it was a pretty big chunk of change we were going to be paying, he made the buying process much easier to take in. We did not have any credit at that time but he did all his power to get us the loan that we needed at the payment we wanted to make. When you pull in the parking lot of this dealership and glance at the inventory you think you are in Ford Chrysler Dodge Heaven. That is only the beginning of a satisfying experience in shopping for your next vehicle. The salesperson who comes out to greet you will be professionally dressed that you do not see at other dealerships. If you want to be waited on by a casual salesperson in casual clothes and a casual attitude, I would leave immediately. The professionalism of everyone I encountered throughout the buying process is unique in this day and time. Jim Hayes, Inc. is a local dealership, near where I live. This last summer we were shopping for a new vehicle. Whenever we are in town, we periodically drive through the lot to look. My husband drives nothing but Ford's. We know this salesman, Chris Street, so we decided to stop in one day & pay Mr. Street a visit. We drove some vehicles, he took note of what I wanted and didn't want. We left it as is for that day. A couple weeks later Mr. Street called me & said I have a vehicle for you that just came in on transport that I think you would like. I drove it and did like it. Mr. Street was able to take care of everything needed to get us in the new vehicle. The dealership was kind, courteous & clean. I like the fact they are close for any further maintenance needed. We have had good results with Jim Hays/car dealer ship they have always got us in when we needed any oil and grease jobs and if we have a problem they will check it out soon as they can get us in usualy within a day they are very good to their customers. Jessie Williams sold us 2 cars and a truck within 3 years and we have been very well taken care of he checks up on his customers and see if they need anything done or if they are getting the service they need we are very pleased with his help and would trade with him again if the need every arrises. We have tryed to send customers over to Jim Hays and hope they have been there however we are not sure but we are trying to help Jessie and the Jim Hays family and dealership we feel that they do what they say and are trying to help their customers. THANK YOU JESSIE FOR ALL YOUR HELP IN THE PAST YEARS AND HOPE WE CAN BE THERE FOR YOU IN THE FUTURE.

i bought a car from jesse williams and he calls me regularly to check on me and my vehicle......i brought my mother in so she could get a new vehicle...they bent over backwards to make sure she was taken care of....jesse was busy, so she worked with jeff winters, and he was as good as jesse too.....and the sales manager jamie hayes even got involved to make sure we were happy.....i recommend everyone to give jim hayes inc. a chance.

my daughter bought a car at jim hayes and recommended jesse as a salesperson..he was busy so jeff winters helped me....we found a truck and worked a deal, after a day, i figured my budget and wanted to bring the truck back...most dealers wouldnt have allowed it. they worked with me and found another vehicle that worked for me and fit my budget!!!!! The vehicle i bought was a certified preowned vehicle so i have a better warranty than a new one!!!!! i would recommend jeff, jesse , and jamie to anyone who wants to be treated with respect and a like a person and not a number.

Me and my Fiance are looking for a new truck, we came to Jim Hayes, only to be greeted by a man named Jesse Williams. He was the nicest salesman there. He took us to all the trucks that we might be interested in. He showed us everything, and test drove the truck with us. By far the nicest dealership we have been to. Nice having a salesman that knows so much, and takes the time to do what he does for his customers.

I want to give a HUGE thank you to my car salesman, Mike Warren, at Jim Hayes, Inc. in Harrisburg, IL! Mike has gone above and beyond to ensure that I receive excellent quality customer service. He spent hours with me test driving new vehicles & explaining the differences and options to ensure the SUV I purchased was the perfect vehicle for me. Not to mention an excellent price!! I had ordered my vehicle and it was going to take 4-6 weeks to come in. Before it came in the transmission went out on my old SUV. Mike Warren & Jamie Hayes were kind enough to give me a loaner on the two weekends that I had to drive to Chicago & St. Louis for my daughter's dance competitions. I was thrilled that we did not have to miss those competitions! This dealership is def. a family oriented business and they take care of their customers like family. I shopped all over calling deferent dealers looking for a specific truck. No one had one in stock! I called Jim hayes and talked to Don Bethune and he told me they didn't have one but offered to search for one. I made an appointment and went in and we finally found one in Florida! Despite the distance they seemed happy to go get it for me. I know I was being picky but it was alot of money! I really felt like it wasn't being pushed into buy something I didn't want. If you never go there I feel like its a mistake. They are truely a small town dealer that put me first. Thanks to all Jim Hayes Inc crew!!!

i shopped several places on the internet and found this certified preowned vehicle....i called up and they were very professional on the phone....i drove 2 hours to find the exact vehicle on the lot and it was better than i imagined....they worked very hard to get me the vehicle at the numbert that fit my budget...I recommend jim hayes inc. to anyone who wants to be treated with respect and honesty.

Had shopped elsewhere and they didn't even come close to the deal we got a Jim Hayes in Harrisburg, IL. They didn't have the truck we wanted but they found one several miles from their dealership and they went and got it. We went and did the paperwork and it was a done deal. Beat vehicle buying experience I have ever had.
