My husband and I bought a 2010 Toyota Sienna from Jim and Laura. We had an amazing experience! The entire experience left us feeling very good about the process and completely satisfied. There was absolutely no pressure involved in the buying process. Their customer service is outstanding and we truly enjoyed all aspects of the buying experience. We stumbled onto an incredible truck at Select Auto, and immediately we just had to get it. Normally, we are not impulse people. We spend hours online and at multiple dealers trying to find exactly what we want. In fact, we spent 4 hours earlier that Saturday at Wilde Nissan and left unsatisfied. When we drove back home, we decided spur of the moment to stop in. It was only an hour before closing, but Geoff and Laura made us feel welcome and gave us the time to test drive (and run home to grab the check book). The paperwork was flawless, and the extra detailing their English fella did before he split for the day left us with an immaculate, nearly new truck (only 6,800 miles on a 2013 F-150!!...where did they find this?!). It was our first used car dealer, but will not be our last from Select Auto. They blow away the stereotype dealer scenario! Excellent deal, and even better people to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving them a try.

I'm not sure I ever experienced one of those attributes at a car dealer until I went to Jim O'Connor Select Auto, let alone all four! Geoff went out of his way to make sure I understood everything about the car that might be a concern even before I came in. Price negotiation was quick and straight forward. The paperwork and service options took the appropriate 10-15 minutes is should instead of the death march at the typical dealer. The entire team was helpful, professional and friendly. I'll be back!

I recently purchased a second automobile from Jim O'Connor Select Auto in the last year and a half. Like the first purchase, the second involved absolutely no pressure or games. The sales staff is very sincere in wanting the customer to feel at ease. Geoff was exceptional in following up a concern that I had after the purchase was completed, and it was resolved to my total satisfaction. I thought the service was excellent during the first purchase, but the second purchase was even more exceptional. I have to raise my rating to Excellent PLUS. Stop and see the folks at Jim O'Connor before your next auto purchase. I am sure you will soon be writing a review similar to this one.

I'd spent 2 months online looking at 2011-2014 used Mustangs. Found one at Jim O'Connor Select Auto that met my preferences. Drove 120 miles down from Green Bay to check it out. I was just going to drive it and see what was possible. Never enjoyed buying cars, but was surprised at how easy things went with Geoff Wold. I was given more towards a trade-in than I'd expected. I was surprised by the dealership's bathroom. Something I take note of whenever I use the bathroom of any business is the quality and cleanliness of it. I believe it tells something about the rest of the business. Their bathroom is large, very well furnished, and very tastefully decorated. Better than what I'd have expected at any auto dealership. I complimented Goeff, Laura, and Jim for their bathroom and why I appreciated it. I didn't have funds for a downpayment with me during my initial visit so I returned 4 days later. After the usual paperwork I found myself with a 2011 Mustang with leather seats, navigation touch screen, upgraded stereo, and 5 tinted windows as extras. The car had 48,700 miles on it and looked and drove as if new. It still does. I'm tickled to be driving it whether in the city or on the interstates. During my second visit I was distracted by the paperwork and swapping of cars such that I forgot I'd laid my laptop inside a small backpack on the floor by the chair I sat in by Geoff's desk. When 50 miles away I remembered and called to make arrangements to pick it up 3 days later. When I arrived to pick up my laptop and backpack it was a pleasure to greet Laura and Goeff who were manning the fort on a Saturday afternoon. As I was leaving it was great to receive warm hugs from both Laura and Goeff and give them back in kind. This has been one of the easiest and most enjoyable car buying experiences I've had. While buying a cars at some dealerships has seemed like official functions carried out in gigantic, impersonal dealerships with bank-like atmospheres the atmosphere and people at Jim O'Connor Select Auto were so much more personable and easy. Buying a car can be filled with stress I have sometimes felt out of my element doing it. Geoff, Laura, Jim, and Paul made it easy and comfortable. Thank you all. P.S. Did I mention that I love driving the Mustang??? :-) I tell friends that I wanted an age appropriate car; I'm 71. I don't drive it like a sports car, but enjoy that it does. And 31 mpg is fantastic for a sports car!

I drove by the lot and saw a vehicle I really liked. I was looking for AWD and it was right before Thanksgiving 2014. Stopped in, talked with Jim and Laura, agreed on a price and I had my new vehicle in time for Thanksgiving travelling. They are both awesome to work with. In 2015 when my daughter needed a new car, also looking for AWD, we went to Select Auto, told them what we were looking for, and Jim found an awesome KIA, AWD for her. WE are both very satisfied customers! I also had my car detailed there this week, and they did an AWESOME job! I will definitely think of them first when in the market for another car.

This was my first time buying a car, I was recommended to Jim O'Connor Select Auto by multiple people. When I walked in I was welcomed with a warm smile and people more than willing to help. Laura was so amazing to work with, I never felt like I was being pressured into anything. It was almost as if I was buying from an old friend she was honest and told me her opinion on everything. Everyone there was so eager to help me and so genuinely happy for more my car purchase. I can not say enough nice things about the team at Jim O'Connor. I will never buy a car from another place.

We stopped in for a test drive and even though we didn't buy the vehicle there was no pressure. Almost 2 weeks of shopping and some dealings with another dealership we decided we were interested in the vehicle we test drove. It was later on a Saturday afternoon and I didn't want to make the drive if no deal could be made that day. We called to see if the vehicle was still available and Laura still remembered us. She made the calls and called back to let us know she had a great financing deal and we were good to go. Got there about 40 minutes after we called her, we signed all the paperwork and left the dealership with our new to us vehicle less than 2 hours after we called. Laura was efficient and easy to work with. Jim was great and gave us some great tips for the next time we need a different vehicle. Jim even spent some time with our son discussing projects our son was involved with. Next time we are in the market for a used vehicle we will definitely return.

I have been buying cars for many years and never had such a good experience as this. It's family friendliness is so unlike that of a big dealership. You know they care about you and you know they are honest. The friendliness can't be beat. No games. No hassles. Will definitely buy again from them. All the fantastic comments you read in other reviews were true for me, as well, so no point in repeating. BUY FROM THEM WITHOUT ANY DOUBT!!!

My fiance and I were on a deadline to find him a decent used car within a week. After talking to a few people, we were referred to Jim O'Conner in Oconomowoc. Having negative experiences with buying vehicles in the past, and worrying about financing options, I did a little research and Jim O'Conner Select Auto had so many positive reviews that we decided to give them a try. Right from the start they were all very helpful and got us approved for financing with a terrific rate within 24 hours. We never once felt pressured like at other dealerships, and never had to question their intentions. They truly care about their customers and make you feel right at home when you're in there. Our auto mechanic recommended we look for a Chrysler Town and Country van...said they run forever. We found two at O'Connor and went in to check them out. Geoff took our trade in for a test drive. Both vehicles were exceptionally clean, Of course we fell in love with the more expensive one which had more bells and whistles. We went home to think it over. No sales pressure! That night shortly before they closed, we talked to Geoff to tell him we'd be in first thing in the morning to discuss trade in value and price. Geoff offered to stay if we wanted to come in then. We were excited and agreed. Everyone was very friendly and went out of their way for us. We got a fair price for our trade-in. Great customer service and no hassles. They made us feel like VIC-very important customers. We would recommend to anyone that is interested in purchasing a reliable vehicle to check out Jim O'Connor's dealership in Oconomowoc. When we need our next vehicle we will definitely return to O'Connor's.

This review is long overdue but better late than never. I searched everywhere for the vehicle I wanted and found it at O'Connor's. I initially felt there had to be some sort of catch as the price they advertised was below most other dealers. But putting it simple, great car for a great price! I will refer this dealer to everyone I know who's looking for a vehicle to purchase. No matter where you live, it's worth the drive to check out the vehicles being sold at this dealership.

Though I am from Chicago, I have had success buying cars in Wisconsin and most all of my cars have been purchased in this state. I looked at used cars on the Jim O'connor lot almost a year ago. I had stopped by other dealerships in southern Wisconsin as well. I took some test drives and to be honest there were big pitches, pressure to buy and many follow-up calls that I even blocked the numbers. It was not appealing. I realized my ideal car was likely a gently used 2015 RAV4 Limited which I would not be able to find until late in 2015 or early 2016. Then about 9 months later, I got contacted by Geoff Wold about a car that fit all my specifications. He remembered everything that I wanted. There was no pressure to buy at all, he just sent photos and we discussed the price. Before I drove up to Wisconsin, I did my research on pricing and all the comparison sites listed what was quoted as very fair. The car was exactly as described and the test drive was easy with no big pitches. Geoff was fully educated on all the car's features and he was more focused on informing me about them during out test drive than trying to convince me to do anything. The entire process was easy and completely comfortable. If you want a great priced car, friendly team and people that are focused on you and what you want, I would highly recommend this dealership. Also if you don't find what you want on the lot, let them know and they will keep looking for a car that fits your needs.

Second time in two months we have purchased a car from O'Connor in Oconomowoc. Our youngest is getting her license this month and will need her own vehicle. Never had to think twice about where we would be going to shop for her car. The costumer service from Laura, Jeff, and Jim is amazing. They treat us like family while helping us find the right vehicle. Also the men behind the scenes who clean there cars up take such pride in their work making their vehicles look brand new. They have their cars inspected for any problems or safety issues by their own mechanic before ever hitting the lot. If it doesn't pass their high standards the car is never sold on their lot, which gives me comfort knowing the car I purchase is going to be a great buy. Awesome place to buy a car.

Customer service was EXCELLENT. Made us feel as if we were family. There was a minor problem with our car right after the purchase that they took care of immediately. Laura, Jeff, and Jim are all wonderful and trustworthy people. I wouldn't buy another used car anywhere else. Already watching their website for a car for our daughter who will be 16 soon. I won't shop anywhere else. Can't say enough about our whole buying experience.

It was a wonderful experience for us, at this dealer there's people who cares. When my dad's car broke we suddlendy had to start searching for another one, and coming here was a relief because they are friendly but profesional. Of course they are selling but we fell that they were taking good care of our own interest as well. Very happy.... We had thought that we could get an idea what was available in the used car market. First, I don't like the car buying process. I went to Jim O'Connor on Saturday morning (10am), they let me take the 2014 Ford Focus home to show my wife. Geoff said "We are here until 3", took it home, my wife liked it, Geoff got us an interest rate we were happy with, and we had the car home around 2:30. No hassle, fair trade for our Eclipse. We even forgot to bring the title for the Eclipse and Geoff said, "Bring it Monday". None of that "I need to talk to my manager crap". Geoff gave me the out the door price with our trade on the phone. If we buy another car, I would say we would buy from Geoff again.

Best car buying experience ever at Jim O'Connor Select Auto in Oconomowoc! We purchased a used Chevy Malibu in May 2015 and it has been a solid reliable buy - since May we've already put on another 10,000 miles with absolutely no problems. The sales process was so laid back - we appreciated not being harassed with pushy sales tactics...the gladly welcomed us to take our time when we said we'd go home and think about our choices. And the choices were incredible! The lot was filled with clean, low mileage cars/trucks at extremely reasonable prices! We know where we're going for all of our future car purchases!

My wife and I had a wonderful car buying experience at Jim O'Connor Select Auto. Being a bit intimidated by the larger dealerships, this business was exactly what we were looking for. Quality cars that were newer models and very clean. No pressure from pushy sales agents. Once we decided on the vehicle, Jim provided a very fair price that we were comfortable with. The paperwork signing went as quick as possible and we felt like we were sitting in our living room, speaking to family. We drove our car home that day, and felt no remorse afterwards. I talked to Jim on the 26th after getting a bad taste in my mouth dealing in Waupun. made appointment meet on tuesday morning to chat about a different rendezvous, he was waiting with the newer car and we each test drove the cars came to a reasonable exchange of funds for said car. Jim and Laura treated me with utmost respect, they listened to my questions and answered them completely. Definitly the best experience buying a car I ever had. I liked that I was able to do all the talking and the dealer listens and shows you only what you want with all the information you need. I did not need to ask for alot because they seem to have everything covered ahead of time when I decided on a vehicle.

After putting in a request for a specific car in a particular color and at a set price, the O'Connor team worked diligently until they found the exact car I wanted. They knew what questions to ask, which then lead to me having a better understanding of my parameters. They then kept me informed along the search , which made me part of the process. When the car arrived it was delivered to me shiny clean and Geoff gave me a personal tutorial showing me how to use all the bells and whistles. They were able to make the business portion efficient, pain free with no hassles. When I went to pick up the car, they were as excited about it as I was---and believe me, it's the car of my dreams and O'Connor Auto made that dream come true. No Games. No Tricks. No hidden agenda. Jim just wanted to get me into the vehicle I loved and made it happen all in one day. The day began an hour and a half before store hours on Monday. I was admiring a vehicle when Jim came in early to get work some work done before opening at 9. He saw what my needs were, assessed my trade and before the store opened at nine, we knew it was a done deal. That's how I like to shop. In and out. Thanks Jim and Laura!

I purchased a 2011 Jetta with financing help through them and they helped me out with receiving it which was a huge help as I had never done this sort of thing before. I do, however, feel a bit cheated as I had asked them about monthly costs as my budget is pretty tight and we had gotten it to a reasonable amount. However, I needed to change insurance and he helped me out here and told me that what I had was full coverage for my vehicle and that that I would be good to go. The letter in the mail that I received from my credit union states otherwise and now I have to pay even more for insurance which I don't really have and I can't help but feel a bit lied to because it seems like he purposefully made the insurance cheaper so I wouldn't have to think about if I could afford it. The car has a radio issue which wasn't listed but works 98% fine and I'm okay with that and everything else on the vehicle runs pretty much perfectly and I am still very happy with the purchase, I just am a bit jaded by the insurance part and being misinformed in a situation that misinforming me would lead me to purchase the vehicle where I otherwise would think about it more.

My 17 year old son and I had been to Jim O'Connor Select Auto, LLC on a Sunday to view potential cars. I was amazed that the cars we unlocked allowing us to get a feel for the cars without any pressure. After choosing a vehicle we wanted to test drive, I returned to the dealership during the week to ask if I could take the car out for a drive. Having worked with Jim and Laura a few months earlier on an unrelated problem with another automobile I purchased elsewhere, Jim and Laura recalled that I drove a Toyota and suggested I take a look at a Camry they just got in and did't even have a sticker on it yet. The car was super clean and well cared for. It was a better fit for my son than the car I originally had in mind. Without hesitation, they told me to take it home to show my son to see what his feeling were for the car. After my son drove the car, he felt it was one he wanted to purchase. When I came back to the dealership to put something down on the car while I arranged financing and insurance, all they wanted was a hand shake for a down payment. A hand shake! This is something I heard about in my fathers time when your word and a hand shake was enough to take a person at face value. It is something I never thought I would see again but Jim and Laura and Geoff are that trusting and genuine. They held the car for me, as they said they would, allowed me to view the vehicle again when it was on a lift so I could view the underside of the car, ran my credit report, and told me to come back when ever we were ready to close. A couple of days later we went to close on the car and Jim keenly explained to my son the importance of establishing good credit, spending money wisely, and pointed out what a wonderful thing I was doing for him as a father. All of this is from a car dealership. They want to sell us a car but they go way beyond the expectation of customer service, trust, and friendship. They want you to be happy and make sure your satisfaction is a priority. I purchased a vehicle from another dealer in town the month before. There is no comparison of the level I service I received from Jim O'Connor Select Auto, LLC and the other dealership. Select Auto is the best I have worked with in my 63 years of life.

We were searching for a used car, My husband liked a 2013 Ford focus on the lot, There was no pressure, we checked out all the vechiles. We came back Friday night to test drive the car. Jim and Geoff were wonderful, I had NO idea I would be taking the car home that very night, while we were waiting for the financing ,I was cleaning out my old car. We had checked Waukesha/ Watertown dealers and were thrilled to find a car in our own neighborhood, five minutes from home. Great service, totally reccommend if you need a new car!!!!

I dropped in at Jim's one evening to check out some the cars on their lot. Laura came out to speak with me and asked what I was looking for. I explained that I am in outside sales and that I need a car that I can tack on the miles with and is comfortable. She steered me to a few. We looked at the vehicles and I was able to test drive the Camry. I came back and told her what I was looking for, the price range and what I wanted to do regarding my current car. She said she would need to speak with Jim and Geoff and someone would get back to me. This was going way too easy I thought. By the time I got home she had followed up with some numbers, told me her availability and the others and said if I wanted to consider it, just let them know. I dropped in the next day. In between the casual conversation and Geoff and Jim giving me some suggestions on how to put together the deal, I was out of there within two hours with the car I wanted at the price I wanted. I am not joking when I say that this was the easiest experience I have ever had. Know the following when dealing with them: 1. They price their vehicles fairly. 2. They will work with you and tell you where they stand on the deal. READ: HONESTY 3. They have good financing partners to help you. 4. They ARE JUST NICE PEOPLE!!!!!! I could not have asked for a better experience. I will recommend them to anyone looking to buy a pre-owned car. I am glad to be able to give my business to this small business.

It's pretty rare that I actually do reviews... but after my experience with Jim and Laura, I have no problem giving them a review. I was on my way home after deciding on a car with a different dealership when I called my wife at her office to let her know I found a car. Her first words were "my boss thinks you should run the deal past Jim O'Conner in Oconomowac" I had time, so I did. In less than 15 minutes, Jim and Laura were able to find me a newer model car with less mileage and at a better price. No pressure to buy at all, they just showed me what was honestly available - of course I bought the car from Jim and Laura. When I arrived to pick up the car, they had cleaned it, gave it an oil change, filled the tank and even moved the plates from my old car when I wasn't looking. Best buying experience ever.

I recently bought a car from Jim and had a great experience from start to finish. I was interested in a car that was about to be shipped off to auction, but he held it for me longer so I could check it out and test drive it. The whole staff was very pleasant and professional and provided a welcoming and comfortable environment to what can be an intimidating experience. This was truly the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Great people. No pressure. No sitting in the dealership for hours waiting to finalize the transaction. You feel like part of the family by the time you are done. I stopped by one evening and told Jim that I might be interested in purchasing one of the vehicles on his lot. We talked about the car briefly and then got to know each other a bit. It was getting late and I told him I might stop by to take test drive over the weekend. He thanked me for the time, conversation and assured me that he was grateful whether or not I ended up making a purchase. I ended up coming back with my wife to take a test drive. Afterwards I spent about 10-15 minutes with Geoff going over the Carfax records and discussing what the bottom line would be for a very fair purchase price. There was no sitting in the chair waiting for him to come back from behind the wall with the sales manager to haggle over the price. From the other side of the sales room, Jim said, I checked my records and $#,### is what we can do. It just happened to be the number that was in my head. Therefore...No Haggle. Not wanting to make an impulse purchase, I told them I would have to sleep on it over the weekend. They told me if I ended up wanting it to just give them a call and they would hold it for me. I ended up calling them to hold it and have them check into financing. Laura was able to get me a better deal than my bank/Credit Union. I came in after work, signed the paperwork and drove it home 30 minutes later. The paperwork was done in 10, but I found myself wanting to stay longer just to get to know everyone better! Buying a car from Jim O'Connor Select Auto was an excellent experience, completely devoid of the stress that one would normally associate with such an event. Laura, Jim and Geoff are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and above all completely trustworthy. The car we purchased in October was the first car that I've bought, and Laura was incredibly patient and responsive to all of my many questions. Looking for a car to by for me was a confusing situation. Lots of research and questioning of what I wanted and where to buy from. Once I contacted Jim O'Connor Select Auto and talked to Jim about a vehicle, things went great. He got me better financing than I could get even from my own bank ( sister is a loan officer). He provided the Carfax for my review. Any questions I had were answered quickly and honestly. The car looks and runs great. Very good price. While there Jim and Geoff treated my Dad, Brother In Law and myself with courtesy and were very friendly. Hopefully I won't have to buy another car in the near future, but when I do I know that a trip to Jim O'Connor Select Auto will be where I am going.

My family has been buying cars from Jim OConnor long before he had his dealership in Oconomowoc. My experience with Jim and his family started when I was in my early twenties. I had been ravaged with outstanding medical bills and had to apply for bankruptcy. My credit score was sub 500. Jim not only worked with the bank to help get me a loan for a truck that I had no business owning, but he also taught me an incredible amount about how to responsibly and affectively raise my credit score. Jim taught me more about life and money then school or anyone else for that matter, ever did. My current credit score is above 800. Jim has taken care of several of my family members, as we have collectively bought over twenty cars, over the years, from Jim. Jim has gone far beyond selling me and my family cars. He has helped me and many more aspects of my life. He had no reason to do any of these things. He has been more of a father figure for me. My point to all of this, there are few people left in the world that genuinely care and are willing to go out of there way for others. All of Jims employees reflect his style and genuine care. (Laura, Jeff, Kathy, and Paul) My most recent endeavor with Jim OConnor Select autos was about a year ago. I bought a vehicle, but that isnt the part I want to share. My fiance had a car that was having several issues. It was not a vehicle that Jim sold to her, but with all the problems we were having with her car, Jim called in several favors to help us remedy the problems with her car, again Jim had no reason to do any of this. He did not try to sell us a new car he helped us every way we asked him to. After time passed and the car became a huge liability my fiance and I decided to get her a newer car. Of course we bought the vehicle from Jim. There is not a better place to buy a vehicle from. I cant promise that Jim and his team will do all they have done for me and my family, but they will treat you right and honestly. The customer service is second to none. Every time we do have a problem with our vehicles Jim and his team go far beyond the call of duty to help, from contacts to help fix the problem, handling logistics, to loaning out a car. Driving by Select Auto I noticed a car that luckily caught my eye. From the minute I made contact with the staff until my new purchase was completed I had a great, easy, experience with everyone at Select Auto. I had been looking for a new vehicle after some bad luck with my previous vehicle and no other dealers would even consider a trade. Select Auto not only gave me a generous trade in value but also offered me a really good price on the new car. The entire process was so relaxed and stress free, they even took care of finding great insurance as well. The whole facility is well maintained and extremely clean. My new/used vehicle was also detailed so well it was as good as new, which is what happens after any vehicle is serviced as well. I highly recommend Select Auto to anyone looking for a new vehicle.

This is the second car we have purchased from Jim and crew! We are life long customers and will never shop for another car elsewhere! Everyone there cares about making sure you are in the right car for your needs. There is no pressure, no gimics, and no slimey sales people. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated like family. We had never met these people, and really weren't too excited about buying a new vehicle, but it had to be done. We had some friends recommend that we go see the O'Connor's. We stopped in and Laura was very knowledgeable and helpful. Jim bent over backwards to make sure we were in a great/safe car that night, since ours was no longer safe for our growing family. Definitely worth a stop if you're looking for a car. None of the hassles of working with a big dealership! They have a very large selection of super-clean newer used cars. Prices are very competitive from the start. No sales pressure at all. While very knowledgeable and helpful on each vehicle when needed I was free to look at each vehicle inside and out all day if I wanted without anyone standing over me. Same with the test drive. When it came time to buy they took care of everything for me in advance including financing. When I stopped down to sign all of the paperwork it took about 20 minutes and I was free to go with my new car. They got it all washed up for me while I joined them for lunch. All of the people are very friendly and professional. The office building is very modern, bright, and clean. All in all a great car buying experience.

Jim O'Connor and all the members of Select Auto are fantastic. We currently have three vehicles all with the Select Auto sticker right on the rear, and plan to continue this trend. It's a relaxing environment with genuine people and is quite different than big dealerships. When looking at cars, you will not be chased around by ten different sales people telling you everything about each car you even breath near. Before we left with our exciting new purchase, Mr. O'Connor, in his dress clothes, pulled out the hose and washed and dried the car. They are just great people. Thanks Geoff and Mr. O'Connor!

Out of the experiences I have had with salesmen and dealerships, This was by far the best. They were not "pushy" and they helped me with getting a better suv and the whole process. It was very plain and simple, i came in for the first time and did not know what to expect but i came in and they were so friendly and sold me a suv that i could afford. Cant say enough about Jim, Laura, and Geoff at Select Auto! Went in looking for something "comfortable and responsible" After a few visits and test drives of various cars (NO PRESSURE AT ALL !!) A little over a year ago I purchased a used 4-door sports sedan. Not as much of the salesman or "hard sell" experience you get at larger manufacturer dealerships. Very easy and seamless trade in as well as purchasing process with their friendly and helpful staff. Even had an aftermarket product added easily by one of their partner companies and it was all complete at pick-up time so there were no hassles with having to set up additional appointments and taking my time to do so. Overall it was definitely worthwhile to stop in and see what they had in stock or were able to find.

We stopped in to see a specific vehicle at Jim O'Connors Select Auto. The cars were being cleaned for the day, staff were incredibly nice. Sales person was wonderful to work with. was not impressed at all. Salesman comes out in flip flops, shorts and not friendly. When my wife asked him about scratches on the bumper he said he had not cleaned it yet and proceeded to try and rub the paint from another vehicle off the bumper. Saw nothing else so we left.

This is my first Chevy product and probably won`t be my last. I have to say my purchase and experience was very satisfying. I started with Jim as some of my family has done business with Jim in the past and highly recommended him. Geoff and Jim were great to talk with and explain any questions I had about my 2008 trail blazer. I can`t for the life of me understand why most people can`t operate their dealerships as Jim does. Great deal as I checked online at Kelly Blue book for what a dealer should get and I paid $300.00 less. I really think Chevy produced a great SUV with the trail blazer. Talked with Laura,Jim`s "SweetHeart" of a daughter. Sounds like she will be taking over the business some day with his same business sense and fairness he is passing on to her and probably Geoff as well. They make a good team. Thanks again for a wonderful experience and a good job at that grilled chicken lunch you prepared for the staff and myself, it was the frosting on the cake.

Jim has always taken care of my wife and I. We purchased a 2011 Kia Sorrento 2 years ago. Jim did everything worldly possible to take care of us. I called Jim and gave him the things we wanted in an SUV for my growing family. Jim tracked down our SUV delivered it to my work and did the papers on my lunch break. Jim is one of the nicest guys you will meet. Jim is all about finding you want you need and taking care of your family in stead of pushing you into something just to make a buck. The staff was very congenial. I drove a couple cars (including one out of my price range), and I was satisfied that the car I bought met my needs, which included distance driving, on bust Interstates. When I requested a key fob, with remote opener, it was obtained for me. When I needed assistance 4 wks. after I bought the car, they helped me out. I had an experienced auto mechanic check it out, and it passed with flying colors!

I had about the best experience i have ever had when buying a vehicle. My son and I walked into the dealership and were greated by Laura she had welcomed us in and ask how she could help us. I told her we were interested in a particular vehicle and wondered if we could take it for a spin. Laura asked Geoff for the keys and we were taking the car for a ride (Just my son and I) when we brought the vehicle back Laura had asked us how it went (always smiling and generaly a very kind person). I asked Geoff and Laura if they would accept a certain amount and they checked the numbers and told me we have a deal. This is the way I love to buy a vehicle no shmoosing, no"I have to ask the Manager", no we can't go that low. Just a fair price and terrific service. Geoff seemed very honest and Laura was extremely kind and courteous....If Laura ran for any kind of office she has my vote.

This was by far the best vehicle purchase yet!!! Jim O'Connor and his staff were so welcoming! I was interested in a Edge I had saw in the lot and asked if I could come test drive it after hours. They were so accommodating and stayed late for me. After I drove the Edge I decided I wanted to sit down and talk about numbers (this was my decision, no pressure at all!) After talking I thought that I should wait a day and think about it. They had suggested why I thought about it the following day to take the Edge home with me because they had the same thought process as I did, "A 20 minute test drive is not long enough to know if I really wanted to purchase it." The following day I drove it to work and fell more in love with it! Needless to say after work that day I went and signed the papers. I couldn't be happier with my purchase! My son found a great truck at a great price at Jim O'connor. After looking on the internet and dealerships for weeks he saw one on the lot here. Although he is only 19 they treated him like and adult and let him test drive the truck and even stayed open late so I could come and see the truck before he made any decisions. They were all very nice and friendly no pushy car salesman attitudes. We brought the truck home that night. About a week later he notice we had a slow leak in one of the tires which was under the tire protection warranty that came with the vehicle However, the tire center was having troubles processing the claim so I just paid for it. I called dealership back and told Jim what had happened and he wrote me a check for the repair. That was totally unexpected but appreciated . Thats the type of service I didn't think existed any more. Thanks !!!

I was referred to Geoff and Jim O'Oconnor by my aunt as she and my uncle both had purchased their vehicles from Jim. I did not have a lot of money and was at my wits end w/trying to find a used decent car I could afford. When I went there, they were immediately welcoming. What a great experience at this dealership. First time ever I was not greeted by a pushy salesman. Test drove the vehicle and was left alone to decide what we wanted to do. The purchase of the vehicle went smoothly. They felt bad they couldn't get the car cleaned up like they wanted too so they filled the tank with gas and told us to come back to have it cleaned. Best car experience I ever had

I recentely bought a F150 from Jim and the gang. If your in the market for a quality used vechicle, you need to go and see the great slection he has to offer. I was in the market for as truck for about a year and a half. Hitting all the big dealerships around town, getting poor service and pushed into a vechicle i didn't want. I stopped on a Saturday afternoon to look at the truck I purchase and was greeted by Geoff the head sales rep. What a great guy to deal with! He didn't come out on the lot just to sell a truck. Knowing I didn't have great credit Jim and Geoff did everything a big dealership wouldn't do to get me into that F150. I would never believe that there are people out there that still care about the people! But that is what you'll get when dealing with Jim O'Connors Select Auto. What a GREAT bunch of people! I could never thank them enough.

In general. I despise doing business with car dealerships and prefer to take my chances and buy vehicles from private owners. I didn't want to deal with selling my old car this time so I begrudgingly decided to visit a few local car dealers and see what I could find and "do the dance". I stopped by Jim O'Connor's to take a quick look and saw a car that I liked but continued onto a few more dealers. At the other dealers, I found similar cars but higher miles and $ '000's more!! I returned to Jim O'Connor's and took a test drive. Not being one to like car dealers in general, I was pleasantly surprised by the curteous and friendly service that I received from Jim and his staff!! It was literally a family affair as I was introduced to Jim's daughter, son-in-law, and grand son who were in the show room visiting!! I was pleasantly surprised by my overall experience at Jim O'Connor's Select Auto, LLC. I would highly recommend giving them a visit the next time you are looking for a car!! I'm very pleased with my overall experience. I purchased a car and received an extremely fair trade value for my old car and didn't have to deal with the hassle of having to sell it. Buying a car from Jim O'Connor Select Auto was hands down the best experience either of us have ever had! Jim, Laura, and Geoff were so welcoming, informative, and exhibited zero pressure. It was just like talking to a friend; so easy and comfortable. We got an incredible deal on both our trade in and on our new vehicle. No other dealership could provide us with a deal like this one! It was well worth the drive in from Milwaukee. Their selection of newly used vehicles was quite remarkable. Though we purchased a Toyota Highlander from their current inventory, we learned from some friends that bought a vehicle from Jim, that if they hadn't had what we were looking for, they are very good at finding exactly what you need. I recently purchased a Corvette at Jim O'Connor's dealership. It was to be a Christmas present to me and my wife Heidi. I purchased the car without her knowing and wanted to surprise her. Jim and his staff went out of their way decorating the car with a ribbon and Santa holding a Merry Christmas Heidi welcome. When Heidi entered the showroom, saw the car and her name on the greeting, she broke down in tears of joy. Jim and his staff shared the excitement with Heidi and took pictures of us celebrating the moment. Heidi and I felt like we were part of their family, especially when Jim offered to keep the car safely protected in his showroom until the weather cleared up and the roads dried up a bit. Buying cars is typically an unnerving experience. We don't mind paying a fair price, we just don't like forced pressure or or finding out later we paid too much. Jim and Laura were pleasant to work with. They pulled up every Internet report on the car we were buying plus the one we were trading. We had done our own search before we went to Select Auto. Throw in the Carfax report and we were able to make an informed decision. In the end, the value we received exceeds all the research we had prepared before hand. We have bought a number of cars from Jim over the years. We are very impressed with his new dealership in Oconomowoc. We couldn't be more satisfied.

A week ago, I totaled my car by hitting a deer. I had bought from Jim before, and was so excited that he was now in Oconomowoc. I had gone online and saw a few I wanted to test drive...one was already sold, but I completely fell in love with the Kia! Wouldn't go anywhere else to buy a car. We dealt with Laura for most of the dealing, but actually had to talk to everyone at one time, and not once did I feel like someone didn't know us. We have had to buy many cars and I can honestly say I have never felt so comfortably. We never felt pushed, or rushed to make a decision, and they constantly asked questions so they knew exactly what we were looking for. This was my first time buying a car, I had went to a different dealership and had a terrible experience so I was a little hesitant to go again. But I had such a good experience with this dealership! I found a couple of cars online that I liked and just wanted to go test drive some of them. The prices were very fair and they were all kept clean and the pictures online were very accurate to the actual cars. So after a long process of waiting for loan information and such, I finally got the car and I'm so happy about it. I got a black Volkswagen Jetta 2012 and it had great mileage and very clean. I would definitely recommend someone to go there. They were so nice and worked really hard to get me a loan and the best interest rate even though it was my first loan :) Thanks Laura, Jim, and Jeff!

From the minute I walked into the door, it was like being greeted by a family member. Everyone was gracious and willing to assist in any way. From the beginning of the buying process to the signing of the papers, they were there explaining everything in detail. When the papers were signed, I did not have any questions. I was invited to the Grand opening get together, which was very nice. I stopped in about a month later, and I was not forgotten. I was given a free detailing which was the first time I have ever seen that. You cannot go wrong in buying a new or used car from Jim OConnor. The best ever.

This was a great buying experience....I love the family atmosphere and no pressure approach. Jim, Geoff and Laura are very personable and treated us like they've known us a long time. I felt like there was mutual trust through the whole process. We were impressed with the Suburban (so clean) and have not been disappointed logging two long trips with it. It still seems like a new vehicle to us...we will have it a long time! I have told many friends about our purchase and would continue to recommend Jim O'Conner....for us, it was definitely worth the 80 minute drive!

On July 15, 2013 I purchased a 2007 Subaru Impreza AWD sedan and have been extremely pleased with this car!!! Sales manager Geoff Wold, Jim and Laura O'Connor made me feel like their most important customer before, during and after the sale. I would also like to mention the excellent cleaning and detailing done by their preparation specialist Paul. The "Subie" was received in immaculate condition. Everyone was very low pressure and helpful. A few minor items on the "Subie" initially needed addressing and they were handled above and beyond my expectations. In fact, Jim went out of his way to assure that I had a loaner vehicle while the "Subie" items being addressed. The entire buying experience was hassle free and handled with the utmost integrity! : )

My need was to get a car for my son. At Jim O'Conner Select Auto I did find a vehicle that met our immediate requirements. But after purchasing, I kept it and gave my son my car. Thought the Ford Explorer would serve my needs more than his which was a funny twist of events. I went to look for a used vehicle in town and a friend told me about Jim Oconnor's select auto. When I got there was greeted with a warm smile from Laura Oconnor, she was so wonderful to work with. I dont think I ever got better service at a car dealership as I did with Laura and her father Jim. Both of them so personable and friendly. On June 7, 2013, my wife sent me an email at work with the heading, "I found your truck!" and a link to Jim O'Connor Select Auto. Well, we both got home from work that day and decided to take the short drive from Delafield to take a look, arriving around 6:15 pm. The lights were off in the office, so we went straight to the beautiful Ford F-150 on the lot. As it turned out, Jim was inside and let us look for a while, then came out to talk. And we looked, and we talked, and looked some more way past closing time, and ended up taking the truck home for the evening. When we came back the next morning, the whole staff was there to greet us and be friendly and helpful. The result was a good deal on a great truck and an overall very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Jim O'Connor Select Auto to anyone looking for their next vehicle.

I recently visited here and was amazed by the service I received here. I first met Jim and loved the personal service and attention received. I had several members of my family test drive the vehicle I selected and the staff was very accommodating and patient. This was my first car purchased and as I visited several car lots in the area this was the only one I felt like I was treated like a valued customer. I loved the small family atmosphere. On May 10, 2013 my fiance and I came to a Oconomowoc, WI car dealership to possibly purchase a Chevy Suburban we saw on a website. Although the truck we originally came to see was very plain, we decided to take delivery on it. We wrote up the deal and headed to Chase to get the cashier's check for the down payment. After getting the cashier's check and heading back to the dealership my fiance spotted a LOADED SUBURBAN LTZ sitting on Jom O'Connor's lot. Needless to say we looked at one another and he turned around:) We were immediately greeted and the truck was shown to us~~IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! Jim O'Connor, Geoff Wold and the rest of the staff are GREAT!!!!! Needless to say, we had to head back to Chase and change the name on that cashier's check because we were not leaving Oconomowoc without that truck. I have never met on a more "hands on owner" than Jim O'Connor!!! He personally worked with us and got us the best financing available. Whenever I am in the market again for a decently priced used vehicle, I will be heading back to Jim O'Connor Select Auto LLC!!!

We found a van we were interested in online, it was located at Jim O'Connor Select Auto. They were pleasant to work with, and after fielding our email/phone questions about the used van, they were confident in it's quality and that we would be happy with it--and even offered us gas money if we drove all the way there and decided not to buy it! Good price on a high quality vehicle. Geoff, Laura and Jim were very personable--our transaction felt more like finding help from loyal friends; no pressure or gimmicks. They bought us lunch before our long trip back home with our new van. Of all the vehicles we have purchased, we have never trusted or felt so well taken care of that we'd want to return to the same place--but at Jim O'Connor Select Auto, it was such a great experience we'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. We were so impressed, we will have them find our next vehicle, and we'll make a family trip out of going to get it.

This was the best car buying experience we have ever had. We went to Select Auto on the recommendation from Chuck, their outside salesman. They helped us choose the perfect vehicle for our lifestyle. We've always had a hard time buying a car due to our okay credit. So I went thru my credit union before going anywhere. Surprisingly I was approved! After months of research and searching for the perfect family car, my husband and I came across Select Auto. Their customer service was phenomenal! Their office was clean and comfortable. Jim's a great man! Laura was a total sweetheart! And Geoff was awesome! We told them exactly how we wanted it done and they did just that! We brought our first nice car home last week!
