I was shopping for a used car for months when I came across some great deals at Jim Shorkey. I saw their listings on cars.com and called for info and to set up a test drive. The original vehicle I was interested in turned out to be a manual stick shift, which I can't drive, so I felt a bit deflated. The rep I spoke with was Kevin Winwood. He asked what my requirements were for a pre-owned vehicle and promised to keep an eye out for anything new coming in that I might be interested in. I've heard that before, so I wasn't actually expecting to hear back from him with anything that truly fit my needs. I was wrong. Kevin searched the incoming inventory and contacted me within two days with a listing for a Chevy Equinox. It checked off all of my must haves. I went to the dealership that night for a test drive, and the car was everything Kevin promised it would be. The staff was friendly, the dealership was clean and inviting, and most importantly, the car was cleaned, well taken care of, and ready for me when I arrived. After the test drive I decided to buy the Equinox. I was given a fair trade value on my trade-in and we signed the paperwork. That part took several hours, but only because two other cars sold at the same time, so we were "in line", so to speak, to get the financials taken care of. Some may see that as a knock against the dealership, but to me it was a good sign. Their deals are so far below market value that they're almost literally flying off the lot. Kevin had me laughing the entire time I was there and I never questioned my decision to go with that particular car or the Jim Shorkey dealership. The best part? They offer "Warranty For Life", so as long as you follow your car's maintenance schedule, the engine, transmission, and drive train will be covered for the life of your ownership of the vehicle. Who could ask for anything more? If you're considering this dealership, just go for it. You won't be disappointed. And ask for Kevin Winwood. He's top notch. I felt like he had my best interest in mind the entire time. He'll make your experience enjoyable and easy. He even followed up with me to make sure I knew I was still a valued customer even after the sale. Love the dealership and love my "new" Equinox!

I purchased a used van the other day with my mother and three year old son with me. Everyone at Shorkey was extremely helpful and accommodated us with everything we needed to keep us comfortable and happy during the process. They worked hard to get me a deal that would work for me. My sales associate Jaimie was fabulous especially with making the experience pleasant for my son and I both. I would recommend anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to stop by Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi and take a look.

My wife and I recently bought a 2016 Outlander and it was a great experience! Gilly the sales agent was attentive to my concerns and questions. She got us a great deal and the finance department got us a great rate for our loan. They were very patient with us and worked and reworked out the numbers with several different scenarios so that we could decide which fit our budget best. If you are in the market for a larger CUV, I would highly recommend the 2016 outlander. It is an amazing car for the price and you cant beat the lifetime powertrain that comes with it at Shorky's.

I bought a used vehicle from the Shorkey Dealership this week and was treated with nothing but great, no pressure service. They went over the vehicle and replaced everything that was wrong for inspection to make sure they where selling a safe vehicle. What really sold me about this dealership was after I purchased the vehicle they went above and beyond to detail the vehicle before I picked it up. Everyone from the salesman, Ken, to the finance associate, Rachel, where a pleasure to work with. I would definitely consider this dealership for my next vehicle.

Jim Shorkey sales associate Kim Johnson made my first time car buying experience the best! She was very helpful, not pushy, and very knowledgeable on the Mitsubishi vehicles! Everyone at Jim Shorkey was very friendly and made you feel right at home! I love my 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport!

I am someone who loves to buy a new car and this was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had! Gillian Kuchma is the best sales person, she did not put any pressure on me to buy, but in stead got me excited about the Lancer I was looking at and really made my experience a fun one! Every person I met a Jim Shorkey was kind and informative, and I look forward to servicing my car there. I would highly recommend this dealer ship ( go see Gilly, she is the BEST) to anyone looking for a new Mitsubishi!!

Went back to Shorkey because my wife and I bought a Kia Sedona from them a few years back and it was an all around great experience. This time around, I got a Mitsubishi, but the experience was again all around excellent. Gilly Kuchma was awesome! Got the car I wanted and with the great price, I was able to get a few extras on that I wouldn't normally get. The entire process was a breeze and was actually fun, like it's supposed to be. Thanks again Gilly and Shorkey Mitsubishi! We'll be back when it's time for our next car!!

I just purchased a 2015 outlander sport from Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi and i cant say enough about how wonderful my experience was. Gilly was amazing, she helped me to get my car within my price range and was able to get it delivered on July 4th. Everyone i spoke with was so helpful and just overall wonderful. What was so amazing was thst i never once felt like i was just a sale instead i was treated like a friend. My outlander is fantastic, i love it. Its a very safe crossover SUV, and i will definitely recommend both the vehicle and the sales team to everyone i meet. Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi has a customer for life with me.

After a lot of research, we recently bought a new Mitsubishi Outlander Sport at Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi in Irwin. We had compared several dealerships and felt that Jim Shorkey offered the best deal. We feel that we were treated fairly and with professionalism. Richie Hendrix, our sales rep, was very helpful throughout the process. He is very knowledgeable and shared a great deal of information with us while assisting us in making our decision. There was no high pressure sales or games. He simply provided the information we needed to make the right choice. The hardest decision we had to make was what color to choose. Thanks.

Although I did not purchase a vehicle from the Shorkey auto group it certainly wasn't because of anything they did or did not do for me. I got an amazing deal on a vehicle I really loved. The folks at Shorkey particularly my sales lady, Kim Johnson, were truly stellar! No pressure, a good comfortable, even fun atmosphere and experience! The sales manager carried that same attitude. They made me feel truly valued and all seemed to be very genuine and compassionate about helping their customers. The deal they gave me was not only fair but very generous. The way they treated me made me really want to do business with them! Go ask for Kim Johnson and have a good time buying a car!

Last week I bought a brand new 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage from Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi on Rt. 30. It's my first car(eek)! Sara Romonosky was such a huge help in the process. She was extremely knowledgeable about the car and had the answer to all of my many questions! She was very personable. It wasn't all about selling me a car. I feel as if she got to know my needs and me as a person from our conversations - she understood my position and really made me feel comfortable. I did not feel pressured to buy from her once which was a huge thing for me. She was also patient and waited 2 extra days than when I was originally supposed to buy. She even came in early one day in order for me to finally buy! I told her I couldn't go over a $300 payment and she did what she could in order for me to get the best deal and assure I was under my limit. Awesome saleswoman!! I recommend buying from Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi for the sole fact you'll hopefully get to work with Sara.

I recently purchased a used Jeep Wrangler from Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi and I had the pleasure of working with Sara Romonosky. Sara made me feel very comfortable during the whole process and she even went out of her way to entertain my toddler son, making it an even easier and better car buying experience. She guided me through the whole process and kept in contact with me to make sure I was completely satisfied. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle! Sara is awesome! The only reason I did not give a full 5 star rating is because the management seemed a little cocky, and I still feel like they could have offered me a better final price. Here's hoping the lifetime warranty makes up for it!

Our salesperson Sara R. really worked for us, answered all our questions, got us the car a a good price, Sara made the whole car buying experience a good,pleasant time. Sara and partner Jeff deserve a job well done, you will enjoy working with them.

I purchased a 2009 Toyota RAV4 from Jim Shorkey on October 9, 2014 and my sales man was Frank Smith. Frank was extremely knowledgeable and fair. I received a very fair price for my trade in, which was a 2009 Toyota Prius, as well as the price for the RAV4. Frank answered all my questions without hesitation and took care of the few requests I had made. I would definitely recommend buying from Jim Shoreky and ask for Frank:) I had researched the internet thru KBB, and other websites, so that I need what was a fair deal. What more can you ask for? Thank you!

I bought this Honda minivan at Jim Shorkey's recently. This dealership was recommended by my son and daughter. Everyone was very helpful especially Sara Romonosky, our salesperson. She answered all my questions and some were very technical ( I am an old auto guy and know enough to be a pain in the neck). This vehicle was very clean, even underneath, and it also came with Shorkey's Warranty Forever. I would definitely recommend this dealership, ask for Sara Romonosky a great salesperson.

Jim Shorkey, I am sending this email to share and stress my frustration and dissatisfaction with this dealership. 2 months ago I purchased a 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT, One of your most expensive jeeps which from my understand was Jim Shorkeys neighbors vehicle prior, From the time I purchased and picked up the vehicle everything that has been told to me has been a constant problem, issue and has been back multiple times getting fix or corrected. I have had to bring the vehicle back 4 times now which I live about 1 hour and 15 minutes away and after the 4th time when I show up at 5:25pm to pick up my jeep the work that was to be completed is still not completed and the guy behind the desk was more worried about going home then helping me figure out or fix the issues not addressed at there dealership for me as a customer. The 2 outstanding issues are the Marks(Scratches and scuffs) right under the drivers door and around the jeep which was to be corrected when I bought the Jeep (Of course I was told bring it back and we will fix)and after 4 visits to the dealership to get corrected it is still not completed and the 2nd issue is the Wheels which were to be replaced. I was told by the dealership/ service department that they would replace the wheels with the correct wheels per vin# (which was a Black Chrome wheel) so they showed me these Black Chrome wheels that they were ordering all 4 to replace these bad wheels that were also causing issues with the alignment and shaking on highway, after 4 times bring it in the alignment is finally correct. After receiving the photo from the sales manager I say this is not the wheel that I was shown and I want the wheel I was shown and he says that he cant pay that expense now, So I do some research and find these wheels similar wheels I was shown and would prefer to have these which is the wheel that was VIN# matching. Needless to say I show up to pick my Jeep up and it has the wrong wheels that the sales manager shown to me that where not correct nor did he even listen or read my emails to address my issue. I have emailed and contacted the dealership and they still have not return my call, Note or email. This dealership is only worried about one thing and that is selling as many cars as possible, Customer service is not a priority. It has been over 2 months and still no resolution to address this issue.

I asked to see a Mitsubishi Outlander and made it clear that I was interested in the full size and not the Sport. The salesman, I believe his name was Ben, took me outside and began showing me the Outlander Sport. When I asked if he was sure that was the full size, he said of course. I asked a second and then a third time. Finally, I showed him the "Sport" icon on the vehicle and he finally believed me. After showing me a version of the Outlander, I told him I was going to go to the Kia dealership to look at a Sorrento. The sales manager told me that "Ben" could take me to the Kia dealership and show me the car. When we arrived at Kia, Ben pointed me to a Kia Sportage and said I could look at that while he talked to the Kia Sales Manager. After 10 minutes, I walked outside and began looking at an AWD Sorrento that I was interested in. After another 10 minutes passed, "Ben" came and told me that the dealer did not have an AWD Sorrento (even though I was physically touching an AWD Sorrento) but he could show me a front-wheel drive Sorrento. I asked to go back to the Mitsubishi dealer to return to my car which was being appraised. After another 30 minutes, "Ben" came back with my appraisal report and the keys to an Outlander Sport for me to look at. At that point I grabbed my keys from him and went home. I believe they are receiving sales bonuses for the Outlander Sport and the salesmen are doing everything in their power to move them. Up to and including lying about other vehicles within their own family of vehicles. I may go back to another Jim Shorkey but i will NEVER go back to Shorkey Mitsubishi.

I looked online and was interested in a vehicle so I did a credit app online. After I did app I received a text message from sales person stating they got the app and when could I come test drive the vehicle. We went back and forth a few days and I asked about another car that was listed in website. He said he would be there and told me location of vehicle. I went to dealership that night let him know I was there then proceeds to tell me the one car was in the shop getting checked out and I couldn't see it. Why was that not told to me prior to me going there? So I looked at the other one I was interested in then met him in office. He was not with it at all. He asked if someone contacted me about vehicle I said yes you. He goes I need you to fill out soo I said I did online which is why you reached out. He came back several mins later said finance couldn't find my app I need to do a new one. By the time we were done w that it was close to nine so he said he would contact me the next day and I still have not heard from him and it's been almost a month., Terrible experience. Never dealt with anything like this and would not recommend him or dealership.

I'd completed a credit application on line and called the dealership to make an appointment to meet with a specific salesman I'd dealt with before. When I arrived for my appointment a few days later I was told my salesman was off. I was then paired with another salesman who went out of his way to be helpful. When I'd told him I had filed an on-line credit application the salesman checked with financing, came back to me, and told me I was approved for only the lowest priced model. I said thank you but would prefer to shop other dealers. He asked for my last name then took me into the finance office. The finance manager told me he'd called my application to the bank on a model I wasn't interested in but they rejected my application. He then called it in on the lowest priced model and got an approval. When I told him the model I wanted he called the application to the bank and received approval quckly. Interestingly, the model I wanted had an MSRP about the same price as the vehicle they said the bank rejected. I was told the car I wanted was in stock and they would begin the paperwork on it. Then the salesman came out and told me the car was at their Uniontown store even though their computer inventory showed it to be at the store I was buying from. He was then able to find another car, same model, options, color, etc. on the North Huntingdon lot. I've dealt with the Shorkey folks for ten years. Overall, they are nice people but terribly unorganized. The dealerships sell a lot of cars and I understand the mayhem that occurs during busy periods. Although I don't always agree with the service department I do trust their opinions and decisions.
