Everything was great! Soon after we started looking at vehicles, it started to rain... cold rain, but that didn't slow Carolyn down one bit! She put us under the front overhang and started bringing cars under for us to check out. We explained to her what type of vehicle we were looking for and the price range we wanted to pay, and it took her no time to find the exact vehicle for us. There was no pressure for us to buy more than we wanted or could afford! She helped us set up our OnStar and XM radio too! All the departments we worked through were great!!!

Carolyn met us on the lot and greeted us with a warm smile and asked if she could help us look at something or answer any questions we might have. We let her know up front that we were only shopping but not ready for obligation and asked her to point us in the direction of any demos on the lot, which she kindly did. She got keys for us and let us look at several vehicles and pulled some numbers for us on a few that got our attention but she seemed to key right into what we were looking for. She allowed me to take the Chevy Traverse for a test drive and after only five minutes with her I knew if I purchased a vehicle I would want it to be from her. Still reluctant to buy, we decided to go to another lot and continue our endless search but something told us that Carolyn was the person we could trust to let us move at our own pace without pushing us into something we did not want. We called her back and asked her to see how low she could get our payments and the magic began. We not only got the vehicle we were finally happy with but we got it at a price we were comfortable with. By the end of our visit at Jim Taylor Chevrolet, we felt more like close friends than clients. Carolyn was friendly, helpful and attentive. We are more than satisfied with our purchase and all of the people at Jim Taylor Chevrolet. They took the stress out of buying a vehicle. We couldn't ask for more.

Took car to get water pump changed as it seemed to be leaking and we were soon going on a 4000 mi trip. They changed a water line and said the pump didn't look like it was leaking. So we'll see if we make the 4000 mi or if it leaves us stranded.

I brought my 2005 Tahoe in for maintenance. I have brought the Tahoe in Exclusively to Jim Taylor for the last 9 years. It will not happen again. I was having trouble with my Autoride system. The pump was running an excessive amount. I told the service department I thought there was an air leak in the system somewhere causing the pump to run more than normal. I was told there was no leak in the system, that the pump was bad. (although it was still running and keeping the shocks aired up). They replaced the pump for a ridiculous 900.00 dollars. When I picked up the Tahoe, the pump was still running excessively just as it was before, but now it had cost me 900 dollars!!!!! I told them to keep it and recheck for leaks. They called me later that day and said they could find no leaks in the system. I drove the truck for about a week and took it back for the same reason, the pump was running nearly continuous. Again I was told there were no leaks. The pump lasted for approximately 6 months. I noticed after this time period, the pump was no longer running. I brought the Tahoe back in to the service department and they said the pump had burnt out, and that it was under warranty and they would replace it, which they did. They could not tell me why there was no indication from the computer that there was a malfunction of the system as I had before. But now, they said the rear shocks were leaking and they needed to be replaced for nearly 2000.00!!!!!!!!! I had told them repeatedly there was something wrong other than the pump!! So after spending 900 dollars on an item that was working perfectly, now they wanted me to spend another 2000 on the shocks that were the problem in the beginning!! That was NEVER going to happen!! If they had offered to deduct the 900 that was spent for no reason, from the 2000, then I would have been just fine with that. It appears they did not know what was wrong in the beginning, and was swapping parts to find the problem, or they were just gouging me for addtional money! Either way, it is unacceptable!! I will be sure to tell everyone who will listen, the problems I had!!

I had a problem and was going to take to cooper gmcI called George Warren to find out if he thought it would be in warranty. He told me yes and asked me to bring it to him for the service I told him someone would need to take me to rent a car. He told me bring the car "he had a ride for me". They checked my car diagnosed the problem put me in a car and by noon the next day my car was fixed and running.Everyone was first class. Jim Taylor was much better than my previous experience with Cooper Gmc. I will come back again

Wonderful, i needed my oil changed. My salesman, Nathan White, picked up my car in Bastrop and too it to the dealership in Rayville to have it done. The guys even marked my tire for me, as i had a nail in the tire and didnt know it. Nathan White delivered my car back to me the same day. Gotta love the customer service!!!!

Jason and Marcus are always very helpful to me. I gave them a list of possible concerns to check while servicing my suburban. The maintenance and list were done in a very timely manner and Jason explained what they found with each of my concerns. I always feel they are listening to me and I never feel that anything is done to my vehicle that isn't absolutely necessary. I highly recommend Jim Taylor Chevrolet to everyone. I am also greeted by the sales personnel that sold me my vehicles ( my husband and I now have 3 that were purchased here). I feel like they truly care about me. Got my oil changed. And they put the scanner on my truck. But it still idles rough. Still has the annoying ticking noise. And is now blowing smoke out the tail pipe I guess its burning oil? Idk. I gotta take it back when I get another opportunity. But overall wonderful experience. Awesome customer service extremely nice/friendly and helpful employees. Just not very happy with the truck itself. A brand new vehicle should never have these problems with low miles and regular maintenance.. in my opinion... the reason I decided to buy a new vehicle and choose Chevrolet is because I wanted something dependable for myself and my family. we travel alot for work and I can't stand the thought of being broke down on the side of the road. And it does not make me comfortable when I hear my "new Silverado 5.3 make this ticking every time I start it up. And feel this vibration when it drops below 500rpm then jumps back to 700rpm and then back down to 300 while sitting at a red light.... and now its smoking! Feels and sounds like a diesel truck when I start it on a cold morning Not good ! Not happy I could get those same problems from a truck out of the junk yard and would only pay a fraction of the $30,000+ that this one costs. GM could do better on this one. And I really hope GM will address the issue before it leaves me stranded a thousand miles from home....
