I was so happy about the level of customer service that I received from Brian Wiles at Keffer VW he was nothing but exceptional throughout the whole process. I had no Idea how I was going to get another car after my car accident and was even embarrassed to go into the dealership, so I applied online. Brian got back in contact with me immediately and said that he could help me. He was very sensitive with my situation and found the best resolution to my problem. Down to Earth, Friendly, Considered of your Time and Effortless place to buy your car. Every person from sales to management were really good to us when we purchased our Passat this past week. I will recommend it to everyone that is looking for a quality vehicle and a great team of people willing to help you and to listen to all of your concerns. Austin was our sales person and he was wonderful to us and our need. He took his time to share his experience with the vehicle he was showing and took his time to explain the way the car and the controls of the car worked with a very joyful way. It was cold outside and it was late in the evening, but it did not seem to make a difference to him. Dewayne one of the Sales Managers and Jeffrey the Internet Sales Manager were so kind and took the time to talk to us and to show us that our business mattered. Their genuine demeanor was very refreshing in a fast passed culture where numbers and bottom lines is what drives businesses, but not to them they were pleasant and very friendly. Sean in finances was honest and kind. He saw what we needed and what we did not need, did not push sales but did his job with a lot of clarity and he made the paper work feel seamless. Thank you again! we were very pleased with our experience at Keffer Volkswagen in Huntersville, NC. I am enjoying my car, it is a fun vehicle to drive. From Brandon Best my sales consultant to everyone I dealt with it was easy and a great experience. All were attentative and friendly. The car was detailed and ready when I arrived. I had been looking for a White BMW since April of this year. I saw a car over the weekend and send an email to the dealer. Tanisha responded, thankfully, she was awesome to work with. She and I were in touch over the weekend. Earlier the following week she advised the vehicle was no longer available. I was bummed, but understood. She advised she would let me know should anything change. She texted me the next day to advise that the car was available and she would hold it for me until I could drive up there to see it. She also send pictures of the interior in the meantime. Once there, we were quick to test drive and then to talk numbers. She really seemed to want to help me. Needless to say, we got a price and I came the next day for it. I love my car and am so happy about my first "big" car buying experience. Thank you, Tanisha!

Don't ever consider buying a used car from this dealership. Poor customer service and they don't stand behind their used cars. I have had to take mine to be fixed 4 times in the 5 months I have had it. They will not work with us to get out of this car they overpriced. Not even an apology for the headache.

Seeram was great to work with from the first time I called Keffer! They had an RDX on the way that I was interested in and it would be arriving on a day that I'd be leaving town. Seeram assured me there was minimal risk since I'd have first right of refusal if anything was wrong. When I got back into town and picked up the car, it was better than I expected. From the moment I walked in to when I drove away in my new RDX, everyone at Keffer was extremely pleasant and I'd definitely buy a vehicle from them again!

Keefer had a Honda Element that we were very interested in. They stayed in touch via email and after several offers back and forth we arrived at a price that we could both live with. We drove from Southern Indiana to Huntersville NC to pick up the vehicle. Joe Montanovic treated us like family, showed us the vehicle, it was full of gas, paperwork took a minimal amount of time and we were on our way back to Indiana. I would do it all over again if we had the chance to work with them again. Great Dealership and Sales personnel. Thanks again Joe.

I went to Keffer to buy an autobahn package GTI for my husband. I drove 1 1/2 hours to this dealership because they had exactly the car he wanted! From the minute I met Rick Holland when I came in the door, to the trade-in details, to the finance desk with Sean, to the minute I drove off the lot this experience was AMAZING! Everyone was courteous, helpful, and very low key. NO high pressure sales pitches, no never ending negotiations. Just everyone working together WITH me to get him his new car! In fact, the experience was so great I went back two days later and bought another GTI for myself!

After a long and annoying process and some miscommunication... I am glad that Keffer VW did everything they could to make the situation right. I leased a car with John Malone and he is the reason I am giving this review 5 stars. He was straight forward, honest, and understanding. He didn't try to sell me on a vehicle I didn't want and he wasn't pushy in any way. He was really informed on the specs of the vehicles as well which I appreciated. The dealership was clean and staff was friendly. The only headache came from actually negotiating my price as my original offer from the dealer was about twice what the incentive was on the national website. Eventually I ended up with a deal I felt comfortable with and I was out of there pretty quickly.

John worked with my husband ahead of time to surprise me with a CC for my birthday. When we walked into the dealership we were given excellent service and hospitality and my husband was very pleased with the financing terms as well as the warranty and gap insurance package.John was great about emailing me with a link to learn more about the features of my new car and he also made sure to find the CD's we accidentally left in the car we traded in. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. They even put a bow on the car and took pictures of me with the car to remember this special birthday.

I knew I wanted a VW GTI, I knew what price I could get for the car, but my local dealer wouldn't match that price. It was so easy, none of the schmoozy car dealer stuff, and Jeff was just a really genuinely nice guy. Instead of giving me an artificially low price and then tacking on all the fees and stuff, he very quickly gave me the "out the door" dollar amount so there were no surprises when I came to sign the paperwork. He even stayed late, well past closing, to show me the features of the car I'd just bought.

He is really efficient and made the loan process so simple. He responds to email so quickly and is very good at what he does. I'm really pleased with my purchase so far. My wife and I drove 4 hours to look at a VW. I called in advance and Seeram Kirpaul answered the phone. I had questions and he took them down and not only called me back in less than 30 minutes but took time to wash the car and send me a video of the inside and outside. We set an appointment based on the info he provided and also on how professional he handled his business. When we arrived he was waiting and worked hard to help us overcome some tough hurdles. I would not only highly recommend Seeram but would recommend you only see Seeram! I would have to say this was the most pleasurable experience in the history of me buying cars which is about 17 cars so far. I had Darryl Radford which was a very thorough and charming guy who had the best non pressure follow up that I had seen in decades. He was an individual that is exactly the opposite of what people summarizes as car salesmen. Of course the product , the Volkswagen was a superior product. I had researched the best car for insurance rates for a teen driver and found that the safety features of the Volkswagen cc was a car that I knew if my son was in an accident he would be in the best secured , safest car on the road. This is what led me to the dealership as I did not know anything about these cars prior to do my research. I can say if you have a teenager and you want a car at a fantastic price, with over the top safety ratings and a dealership you can trust. Then please go to Keffer Volkswagen . I am not one to post reviews but I am so unhappy with my recent experience at Keffer I hope others don't find themselves in the same boat. I have leased VW's for over 10 years I've mainly worked with Flow in WS but tried to score a "better deal" this time and was suckered in and stuck with a trade in bill of almost $3000. (Some of that expense is mileage overage).....but I have never paid any remaining money from one trade to another. Not for anything- not mileage, not a scrape, nothing. Trading in has always been easy and fun but not anymore. I have been waiting and waiting to hear back from the sales rep that assisted to help me work this out but no response. I have asked repeatedly to turn in the new car and take back mine, but was told they are working to help with the balance.During my transaction I was told the most I would pay would be a "few hundred" for mileage overage. I was a little worried but ok. Then when I received my bill I was charged for dings and knicks on the car, mileage. I wasn't that far over on my mileage and you would think loyalty would mean something. When I asked about the numerous charges the sales rep said "oh it was dark". "I didn't notice you had a ding in the car". He specifically said as long as the tires are ok you don't need to worry. Well worry you will if you don't know every term thrown out during your trade. Basically as car dealerships are known for they said whatever they wanted to sell me the car and left me stuck. I am so disappointed with this experience not only will I not work with Keffer again I am sad to say I don't think a VW will be in my future either. Fyi I have since learned the term "grounded" means you are screwed. Ask Keffer. And check out Flow, they have always been up front and honest.

2 1/2 years ago I decided to purchase a Volkswagen. I searched online and found a Passat that I liked at Keffer. I spoke with Daniel DeCicco and he convinced me that it would be worth my while to make the 5 hr round trip and pass the numerous VW dealerships on my way including the one that is 5 min from my house. Hesitant, I made the trip. Daniel and the sales team were awesome to work with. There is no pressure or gimmicks, just down right southern hospitality. I purchased the Passat and made the trip home. Last week I decided I wanted to buy a newer Passat as the one I owned was getting high on mileage. I knew I needed to call Daniel. I decided which Passat I wanted and was set to pick it up on a Friday. (I don't bother test driving these cars because I already know they are awesome.) Well I called Daniel the day before and asked if I could pick it up that night. He had already left work that day had made plans, but he offered to cancel them and come back in for me. I left my house at 5 pm and made it to Keffer at 7:30 pm. Daniel already had the paperwork ready to go. I traded in my old Passat and was driving the new one home at 8:15. Thank you Daniel for everything. As long as you work there I will be a customer!

I gave five stars because from the time we parked to the time we drove away, our customer needs and interests were made a priority. When Eric learned what we were looking for, he didn't try to waste our time trying to sell us something a little better that might benefit him at our expense. He mentioned other options and showed us a couple examples while we were still in the lot just to confirm what we wanted. It wasn't pushy, and I appreciated it. Eric worked hard to get us the best deal he could and speed up a very lengthy process. We drove home with exactly what we wanted. Very disappointed in the lackadaisical attitude demonstrated by most employees here. Justin the Service Manager shows no empathy or compassion for the lackluster performance of his service team. Always adds additional charges (i.e document storage fees) non existent problems to overcharge you for and then not stand behind the work his team does. Sean one of the service reps has a very nasty attitude which comes across as condensing and at times teeters chauvinist. And they display no loyalty to their loyal customers. I was told by Justin one of the repairs quoted which was performed by another Volkswagen dealer was not done correct and although warranted by Volkswagen I was urged to take it back to the dealer he just told me did not do the work correctly, he did not go above and beyond by simply picking up the phone and contacting the sister Volkswagen dealer to discuss the issue he discover that was not done correctly. Steve Miller although personable allowed Justin to take the lead and still was not able to offer a comparable resolution but joking offered to apply the customer referrals I was not offered for one referral and the other I have been waiting over a month towards the astronomical quote I was given. Funny thing the quote I received from Keffer was quoted almost 200 higher than Hendrick for the same repair. BBB and my attorney have been notified but I would hope no other customer had to go thru anything similar

Looked online for a few weeks and found Keffer to be among the lowest for the Passat I was looking for. Although the website is a little busy and the phone numbers confusing, once at the dealer the service was brilliant. Jo helped out and took care of my questions and we struck a deal on a certified pre-owned SEL Premium - could not be happier with the deal, the lowest CPO on cars.com and a tope spec model too. They even worked with me on the purchase and gave me a few days to get them the money. Open extended hours and they have Wifi and stuff to look at while you wait.

Let me begin by saying 4 years ago this review would have been completely different. Our first car purchase from Keffer VW was nothing short of phenomenal. They truly went above and beyond to put my wife and I in the exact car we wanted, and we left there saying we were customers for life. Sadly that is no longer the case. We have since purchased 2 more cars from Keffer all the time wondering what happened to the experience like we had the first time. Our last two trips there we left with nothing but a handshake. That's right, all those gift cards they promise on their website for coming in and test driving a car, don't count on it. I must say they have gone downhill in a relatively short amount of time. If the folks at Keffer ever sit and wonder why their dealership is empty, it's because it appears they no longer want to sell cars. I am disappointed, and will not be returning to this dealership, it's a shame.

Worst customer service ever. Salesman Rick Holland was eager to make a sale, but as soon as I bought my vehicle, he completely forgot who I was. I was given only one of the two keys I was guaranteed -- it took multiple weeks to receive my second key (which was mailed to the wrong address even after I called and informed three separate departments of the correct address). It has been 3 months since I purchased the vehicle, and my license tags have still not been delivered. Each time I call and talk to a department (Rick Holland on several occassions, Chad Owen the manager, Cheryl Goode, Sean Bristol in finance, and the tag and title department) I'm given no answers, no call-backs, and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. No license plate has been delivered, they are non-responsive, and I would not recommend them to anyone who desires any modicum of customer service.

Keffer makes buying your next new or used car so easy! I came in on evening late looking for a car that had sold that day. I was disappointed but they didn't let me give up, instead pointing me to my second choice and getting it ready for a test drive. I didn't buy it that night but it stayed in my mind. I returned a few days later and was a little nervous I didn't see the car I wanted to buy!! The staff was knowledgable of their inventory and knew exactly which car I was looking for and tracked it down for me so I could purchase. Ben made the normal "number crunching" experience fast, fun, and easy. You couldn't hope for a better experience when you step in his office. He appreciated my time scheduled and even worked out how I could best pick up my vehicle with my schedule. I appreciate all of the extra he did that he didn't have to do, or that most sales places wouldn't do. Fastest I have ever been able to complete a car purchase! The other salesmen I had encountered remembered who I was and made a point to stop and say hi, congratulate me, and even talk about their personal love of the brand. These guys aren't just salesman, a lot of them are true brand enthusiasts, which is another reason I just bought my SECOND (and not last!) Volkswagen. If you're looking for a quick and painless way to buy a Volkswagen then this is it!

From the moment Jeff Kroh shook my hand on the lot I was treated with respect and courtesy. Very sincere, informative and willing to make my experience superior. Jeff Kroh - my highly recommended sales guy now - was very knowledgeable on the product and gladly answered all my questions. F & I is normally where people feel a little more pressure and a lot of extras are shoved down your throat. Sean Bartol was exceptional in explaining and offering, but it now forced me to buy any "extras". Sean was definitely one of the best F&I experiences ever! Cheryl Goode was quick to answer any questions via email when Jeff was busy with another customer. Eual Sigmon was a terrific management to work with as well. Keffer VW has a great team put together and I highly recommend them to anyone shopping for a vehicle.

This is the perfect dealership to go to if you aren't trying to get an over-priced vehicle and aggressive salesmen offering you everything you do not want over and over again. This was the 7th dealership my wife and I checked out (after finding a vehicle of interest online) and we were not disappointed. We were embraced with big smiles and friendly staff and within minutes were test driving the vehicle we came to see. The vehicle did not disappoint and it was the best value we could find in a 20 mile radius. What was icing on the cake was they dropped the vehicle price down to meet our price point without any pushback!!! We worked with Darryl, who was a perfect salesman, and a gentleman, but I am confident all of the Keffer VW salesmen hold themselves to that same standard. I am no idiot when it comes to buying cars, and know when a salesman is just trying to make me feel like i'm getting a good deal. This was NOT the case with Keffer VW in huntersville, nc. I highly recommend checking out their inventory online, and asking for Cheryl when you get there. Cheryl is a customer service guru and immediately makes you feel a part of the Volkswagen family. The actual building and parking lot is a little undersized compared too some of their neighbors, but over all, GREAT place to go.I know that if you are reading this you probably think I work there and am talking the place up to make them look good. I can promise you I am a customer, not an employee, this review is 100% legitimate.

I drove ninety miles to buy the same car I could have purchased in Greensboro. The difference was the people at Keffer VW wanted to sell a car and that came through in every contact I had with them. Not only did I get a beautiful Jetta for a very reasonable price, I actually enjoyed the guy who sold it to me. Ben surpassed my expectations and helped me through each step of the buying process, from test drive to financing. He was so friendly, understanding, and honest. He was very transparent throughout the whole process, too. I bought a used Subaru, and still, Ben was really knowledgeable about it. The price and service options could not be beat. I never felt pressure to make a decision, which was really important to me. I just got a 2015 Jetta at Keffer Volkswagen. The staff could not have been nicer or more professional! The team gave me a tour of their impressive facility in Huntersville. They walked me through all the cars upgrades and technology to make sure that I was comfortable with how to use them. They made the paperwork painless and explained every detail to make sure everything was clear and that I had no questions. Before they sent me on my way, I got no less than three business cards with contact numbers just in case any question occurs to me later. This dealership is not honest. I thought I had made a car deal with a dealer named Will. This deal changed 25 dollars a month after I drove all the way to Huntersville through Charlotte traffic. I would not reccomend Keffer to anyone. The only good person at this dealership was Cheryl who called, apologized, and gave me a gift card to cover my gas and time loss. First off I will start by saying I will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. I was a first time car buyer and It was my biggest retreat making this dealer my choice. I was sold a bad car, I was promised services with the purchase of the car that were not kept. I was forced into a contract I had no idea about and the cost. I did not receive a bill of sale for several days(that is how I found out about the extra 6k add on) ,the dealership refuses to return my calls or others who I have had call and I call just about every other day.This has been going on for almost a month now. The customer service is rude, the business is ran so unprofessional, And the general manager, don't even get me started. I have seeked out to other VW dealers for help but unfortunately they are not affiliated. Many people from other dealers have tried helping me with the situation but no luck. I'm positive at least four other dealers know how bad of an experience I have had. As I stated before I was taken advantage of and mistreated. My next step is getting my family lawyer involved. My situation is lingering on for more than it should have merely because of the poor judgement I made in choosing such a terrible car dealership. My advice to all, STAY AWAY go to South Charlotte VW off Independence

I've been test driving Jetta Sportswagens in my area (SC) but I found the best deal online through Keffer VW. I sent an email out and heard back from Daniel immediately. After explaining my concerns about buying a vehicle sight unseen, Daniel went out to the lot to send me real time photos of the vehicle and to answer specific questions while he was looking at it. Went in for maintenance service and inspection and work was performed in timely manner. Service included brake fluid flush. A few days later I was getting a brake warning light that fluid was low. I assumed during the flush air got in the lines and it eventually lowered the level. I was in the area so I stopped in and they immediately took it back and expedited service. It was as I had expected. It was topped off and corrected the issue. I was in and out in ten minutes. -- Great service

We found our 2011 Eos online. After traveling from Tennessee we were greeted by Mark at the door. The car was waiting for us and was in near showroom condition. I showed up after well after 6 on Friday and had the exact car I wanted a few hours and a couple of exhilarating test drives later. Mark Friedman was a great sales guy. He was friendly and patient -- I am picky and uptight. He worked with me and was willing to take the time to do whatever it took to make me happy. The facilities are a big factor for me, since I like to keep my vehicles serviced with the dealerships they come from. As I toured, everyone was friendly and actually seemed to enjoy what they were doing.

First - Rollin Hannah is a profession. Excellent to work with and no hassles.. Second - I got a good deal on my new 2014 Passat TDI. Not quite as good as I had wanted. but a good deal. Keffer's price was lower than any other VW dealer around and in the end it made it worth an hour and a half drive to the dealership.The deal was a long time in the making but thanks to Rollin's continued efforts, I got the car I wanted at near the original offer I made for it. Rollin continued going back to his managers and presenting my offer and after several weeks they countered with an offer I could accept. It was real close to my offer (only a few hundred dollars difference). Once a price was agreed upon, Keffer emailed me a signed offer and I drove down to pick up my new Passat SE TDI. Rollin knew I had a three hour round trip so he got as much of the paperwork and other formalities out of the way before I arrived at the dealership. Once I was there, it took about a half hour to get with a finance person and sign the paper work.I've had my Passat less than a week and so far it has been a pleasure to drive, better than my 2010 Jetta TDI and roomier. The fuel mileage has exceeded to EPA estimate by a considerable amount.The overall experience was good. It would have been great if Keffer had accepted my offer when I first made it. That was the only negative point in the sale.

He made arrangements for me to come in and do another test drive. During the drive, he was relaxed and not overbearing. Once we returned to the lot, he pointe out some of the unique features of this model. This entire experience has been enjoyable! He sent me out with figures to take home for pondering and discussion. I was trying to get informaiton about a car that I found in their inventory online. I received a call from Karie Brock. Very nice at first. She was supposed to email me some figures for a lease that she was trying to sell to me eventhough I was looking to purchase. She sent an email without the info yesterday evening. Today I received another email from someone else asking if she got the info to me and I responded that she had not sent it. I immediately received a phone call from her wanting to provide the info. When she gave me lease prices that were totally off the wall I let her know I would not consider a lease to which she responded "you must be confused." I said I am not confused about not paying those amounts on a lease. She asked if I wanted to purchase and I responded only if the pricing is right for me to do so. She then stated again "you must be confused." and the she hung up. I called and spoke with Josh, Sales Manager to let him know what had happened. He offered to let me speak with another sales person but I told him I would not be doing business there under any circumstance due to her rudeness. Their slogan is, as she told time and again and in her email "It's the dealer that makes the difference!" This is tru. It is just not in this dealership.

I took my Jetta to Keffer VW Huntersville because the indicator on the dash panel showed a light out. Sure enough, the running light on the drivers side was burned out. Service took my car into the back and had me sit in the waiting room. I the estimate was $30. About 30 min later the Service Tech came in and said it wasn't the light that was burned out. They had put it in the other side and it worked fine. Now they wanted $104 to do a diagnostic. I told them to put the bulb back in. I couldn't afford to have the diagnostic and another charge to fix what ever they found. When I got home I noticed the light on the passenger side was out and the drivers side was now working. I took my car to O'Reilly Auto Parts on Gilead. They looked at the light ...got a bulb from the back....replaced it in their parking lot and charged me $14.This is not the first time Keffer Service has tried to scam me. I will never return and have vowed to let everyone I know what a bunch of con artists they are.

Coming to terms I wanted took just a couple of go arounds, paper work was a breeze. Got the car in, cleaned up, a couple of extras put on and I was out the door. It was a very pleasant buying experience. Daniel DeCicco was a pleasure to deal with, was knowledgeable about VW products, was concerned about what I wanted, not about selling a car. No high pressure. I highly recommend this dealership. I had ordered spoiler to be added to the trunk lid , Daniel called when it came in, asked if he could schedule and appt for me. How nice. I wasn't sure when I could get there, so I called service directly. Dave Franza in the service department was a pleasure to deal with also. I went in to Keffer a couple of days ago to buy a 2013 Jetta Sedan they had on their website. When I got there, the car had just been sold. Keffer's salesman and sales manager worked with me to find me another used Jetta that would be attractive to me and my wife. What they had was more than we wanted to spend, but Keffer worked with me on the trade-in value of my old car and eventually offered me a deal I could not turn down. They even let me take the car for a couple of days to try it out and be sure that my wife and I wanted it. Having worked with some other dealerships in the area in the previous few days, I was very impressed by the complete professionalism and flexibility of the sales staff at Keffer. It was a pleasure to do business with them. I spent a little more money than I had originally intended, but I got a car I am delighted with and think I got a great deal.

My husband and I bought a used 2009 VW Beetle almost one year ago from Keffer VW in Huntersville. On the way home the check engine light came on, and this was after the service department had "fixed" a rattle in the trunk, and ordered a part fir the driver seat. We turned around, and the service department had closed. Seriously? This should have been notice enough to return the car. One day passes, and we take the car back for them to correct and were told a hose had been knocked loose when they detailed it for sale. A pressure washer to the engine,really! Time goes by, the part for the seat, finally shows and it is the wrong one, and almost a year later, no part! Check engine light comes back on, my husband goes back to Keffer and the tech says the after market radio which was in the car, needs to be removed for diagnisis, and they can't do that...however another VW dealer had not problem. Does not stop there...on top of that the tech says the wiring harness in the trunk is shot, which they sold to us and that the car needed other repairsand gladly gave a quote of a little over 1,000.00! Husband drives car home, and now the power locks, trunk release, interior lights, do not work, and the trunk was a disaster! We called and no answer, left a message, no call back. We called this morning, and they of course were slammed, but we wanted the car back like it was before. ...they offered nothing but drop it off and no promise to get to it. This is a nightmare, and the carfax they presented at the time of sale isnt what the carfax we have paid for.....this place is SHADY, and would not suggest anyone to buy a car from them! Poor service all the way around. My husband and I are so fed up that we looked into the issues and it was a fuse! We have decided to get repairs from another dealer! Never in my life have I had a poor review to post, but someone needs to fix their operations, or they will be doing more than asking for used car trade ins. Hey thanks Keffer VW for the paper left in my car on leasing a VW from you, it will never happen!

I needed a key to be programmed for my Volkswagon Toureg. I called, ordered the key without a problem. The problem occurred the next day. They called at 10:30am to tell me the had arrived. I had prepaid for the key and asked them howe much the labor would be to program it. The quoted $55. I called triple a and had my car towed to the dealership. As soon as they tow truck left, I called the dealership to let them know that my car was on its way, my name and what the problem was. They said fine, they will be waiting for it and that if they are not busy, it would take about 45-1hr. I said fine. The car arrived at the dealership around 12:30pm on Friday. My husband came home early from work so that I could go pick up my car and its a good thing that I called before we left. I called at 5pm and the spoke to Sean. He said :oh, the key is here?" I said" yes--you guys called me early this am to tell me that"....apparently, the parts department did not communicate with service department and the service department did not bother to follow-up to see what was needed in the car towed over even though I had called and cleared everything with them. After I expressed my anger and frustration, he said they would work on it. At that moment, it was 5pm and they close at 6pm. I waited until 5:55pm and called. I spoke with one lady and she said they were working on it. After I hung up, Sean called back right away and said they could not get the key programmed and had to call vw in the am on Monday. I am sure that it was time to go home and they just did not want to do it that day and made that up. In any case..once they called on Monday to tell me that the key was programmed, I went to pick it up. I got there and was directed to Sean. He immediately put paperwork in front of me and told me to sign on the line. I signed..he quoted $115 and took my debit card and went to charge it. I started looking at the paperwork at realized that the paperwork her gave me was for another car and for another customer of South Asian descent. He had taken one look at me and assumed I was that other customer!! Once he came back , I told him that that was not me. He did not seem sorry or apologize at all. He then proceeded to tell me , ..ok--I will just charge you the $115--it will save you a few dollars anyway. I said ok, and then realized that I had already paid for the key so the total should be between 55-60. I asked him about he $115 and he said it was for labor and programming the key. I told him that I was quoted $55 dollars and I was not paying $115. He did then finally refund me and handed me the key. No apologies, no anything! When I got to my car, the key was not working. I then had to go back in and tell him and he said, oh --I gave you the wrong key. Again, no apologies,etc. I finally got my car and I will NEVER go back there. It is the height of rudeness, sloppy work, racism, and general incompetence. My sympathy to those who deal with this center.

My mind was blown...My girlfriend had seen a car she liked online so we went to go see it. Barry caught wind of my need for a vehicle and suggested we try to see what he can do for me. Doubtful, I said "sure, why not"....Before completing anything definite Barry listened to my situation before moving forward, he understood, and after checking my credit, Barry stated that he was determined to try his very best to assist me. He sure did...VW financial team got to work! After fighting for a loan for me, not only was I eligible to finance a vehicle, I was able to lease a 2014 VW Jetta! I havent had a vehicle in over 5 years due to poor decisions I have made as a younger man, and this is my 1st vehicle in many years! I couldve cried, how I felt in the moment....LOL. Barry then connected me with an insurance agent he works with by the name of Chaz. Oh by the way, I didnt have an awesome driving record either buuuuuut Barry's suggested agent (ask abouy Chaz please), got me a rate even my friends couldnt believe how much lower it was than theirs. What an amazing experience I had at VW Keffer. Woke up carless, and went to sleep with my 2014 VW parked outside.

One of the best buying experiences my wife & I have ever had when buying a new vehicle. Our Sales Representative, Frank Alvey, was one of the most professional and knowledgeable reps that I have ever dealt with and I highly recommend dealing with him if you're looking to purchase a vehicle. We purchased a 2013 VW Beetle, exactly as described, and at the lowest price within 250 miles of our location. Frank was courteous, yet knowledgeable about all aspects of the vehicle. My wife and I drove over 100 miles to purchase this vehicle but are glad that we did. Him, along with the financial rep, and all other staff that we interacted with, went out of their way to insure that we were comfortable during the buying process. Frank even stayed for almost 2 hours after closing, on a Saturday,... helping us set up her Bluetooth functions and explaining every detail for the vehicle at 10 pm and offering up fresh Starbucks coffee during the process. Unbelievable service this day and time, and we felt like we had made a friend rather than meet the normal "sales rep" by the time we had left. I dealt with Brian Wiles and made the deal by phone. I asked him 2 questions that were important to me. 1. Does the car have an auxillary input because its for my teenage daughter and that is important to her. 2. has the car been smoked in? He assured me that there was an auxillary jack and that this was a non smoking car. He had the car delivered to me. Guess what. cigarette burns in the headliner and floor carpeting and smoky smell and NO auxillary input. I called him and arranged to return the vehicle at my expense and on my time and look at another similar car. I gave him plenty of notice of when I would return the car. I get to the dealership which is 3 hours away and the car he knew I was coming to look at is sitting in the parking lot and has not been washed has been sitting under an oak tree and he tells me it needs to be detailed (like he couldnt have had this done before I drove 3 hours). Long story short after 3 hours at the dealership we leave with the other car and the promise that he made to my daughter to send her a 'special' ipod for having misled us about the auxillary jack. After 3 weeks the battery died in the 'certified' car. I called Brian about it and he promised to call me back and never did. I bought a battery for $160.00. I also asked him about the 'special' ipod and he promised it was on the way. As I write this it has been two months and no Ipod. Worst car buying experience of my life. I will never buy another vehicle from these people.

12/31/13: Rick Holland was my sales representative. There was no high pressure salesmanship. They asked point blank what I wanted. Fortunately I had done quite a bit of research. My only issue was my negative equity on my trade in, which I didn't think I received as much as I should have but the discounts helped off set that somewhat. The team was very professional and the experience was excellent. I would highly recommend Rick Holland. I am a professional individual with an MBA and my discussions with Rick we're straight forward. Sean is the finance manager and didn't try to pull any credit games. He actually beat the rates I was expecting I would have to pay which netted me more savings, but I used that bit of extra money and purchases the extended warranty because of the miles I plan on putting on my Jetta.

Seeing the new "Simple" Keffer Volkswagen commercials is absolutely infuriating. See the copy of the email I sent to my sales person on APRIL 22, 2013. Any additional information or updated indicated: ______________ Hi Kristen, (Salesperson) I havent filled out the survey yet, mainly because of the service issue. Here is an update: I made an appointment with the service department because of: Creaky suspension Hard shifting transmission Bad iPhone connection no address book, (address book is empty) No iPhone/Bluetooth Streaming Audio Heres where we are after my service with Chris Melton: 30k service Thanks! New bushings no more creaking awesome Hard Shifting Transmission still there. Chris says that it is just the way this transmission works. Some times the shift is very hard. Very. I may look for a second opinion on this one. Just feels wrong. Of course it didnt shift that hard when Chris was in the car. Update: I had my car serviced at another shop. The hard shifting transmission was repair at no cost. Bad iPhone connection no address book. Still no address book. I can see some names and numbers if I manually scroll through them. Kristen, I can understand it the transmission really is that rough, sort of. But the Bluetooth thing, that would have been a deal breaker for this purchase. If you can remember, I talked about having a rental car for about 3 weeks and even that Ford Fiesta had Bluetooth streaming audio and iPhone connection. That was when I made my decision to get the new car. I spend 2 hours a day in my car and the Bluetooth makes it so easy. As you may remember, we didnt close on the deal until after 7pm so the iPhone/Bluetooth issues had to wait until I made an appointment with service. I would not have purchased the car if I had know then that Bluetooth wouldnt work. This issue alone has made what would otherwise be a fun car purchase in to feeling like I was intentionally mis-lead. Mr. Miller, I have literally called 13 times in the past 3 months leaving a message for any manager. Mealie (sp) usually says "They are not here." or "They are in a meeting, but give me your name and number and they will call you back." I have never gotten a call back.

This place is a joke.... First they tell my wife that only the back windows didn't pass inspection. This was also indicated on the report (Rear Windows) we set up an appointment with the window tinting company they recommended, which oh by the way, knew we were there for inspection tinting, they did the back windows which is what the dealership said we needed. We go to get it reinspected and now all of a sudden the front windows are reading 31.6% and they would not pass us. I have no issue that it may need to be redone, but I do take issue in the fact they gave my wife wrong information the first time, When she called to clarify ( I standing next to her on speaker phone) they confirmed that incorrect information. the window tinting people didn't bother to check anythign even though they knew we were there for inspection tinting. and then they refused to pass us causing me to pay another $70 on top of the $240 already spent. BTW, the tint on the car came that way from the dealership in AZ, I only mention this because I did not put this dark tint on myself so all of this was a surprise.This place sucks!!

Worst dealer experience ever!! I would strongly recommend you find another VW dealer if you need service or repairs. No communication at all from Larry. After complaining to Justin and promised communication on the progress of my repairs still no communication. I had to spend a tremendous amount of time calling the dealership and leaving messages and never getting a return call. Was promised dates for repairs to be complete which were not met nor was that communicated until I showed up at the dealership to pick up my car only to find out it still was not ready. PLEASE, PLEASE go anywhere else but here!!!!!!!!!!

They welcomed me as family, remembered my name each time I walked in, and were not pushy in sales at all. They listened to me as a friend, not as just another customer, when I explained my needs in a car. They even stayed 2 hours past closing in order for me to complete my purchase in one day, all the while offering me water, coffee, and food so that I would feel comfortable. I got a call from James Rabar, after the USAA car buying service sent my details to their preferred dealer in my area. I had already stopped into another VW dealer 20 miles and 30 minutes closer to my house but James convinced me it was worth a trip. I was not disappointed! It turned out the exact car I wanted didn't exist so he showed me my options and got me all set. They even had to get a car from another city to meet my "demands" and got it all done in 2 days. I was on a bit of a time crunch but everyone at the dealership worked together to help me out and got me one my way with minimal hassle. The 4/5 on the buying process is nothing really against Keffer VW I just don't like paperwork and big purchases always have that.

Almost 4 yrs ago I leased a Jetta from this dealership. They were the only ones willing to work with me after my passat was totaled and I had nothing to put down. I got a call from Brian Wiles recently about going ahead and trading in. I was a little skeptical but when I got there, Brian was very personable. He had done his homework based on our phone conversation about what I was really looking for. He showed me my options. Let me test drive the 2013 Passat which was really what I was looking for. He got my payments at the same as I had with no money down. I was not penalized for breaking my lease early and all the repairs on the Jetta I thought I would have been responsible for they offered to take care of on their end. It was an exceptional experience and I was in and out in about 2 in half hours. I live on the south side of charlotte but I will definitely continue to deal with this dealership bc of the level of respect and service I received here. And to think I almost went to Honda after dealing with south and east VW dealers. Thanks Brian for keeping me with VW as I love the cars immensely!!!!

Just a great experience at Keffer VW. David was very patient as we test drove a couple of different Jettas, and instrumental in helping me make my final decision. I feel like I got a very fair price and the whole process went pretty quick. The waiting area was well equipped with Starbucks coffee and a large flatscreen tv with EVERY channel. We got the paperwork done, they topped off my gas tank and Morris explained every feature of the well equipped interior in my new Jetta. So glad I chose to purchase from Keffer VW and I will definitely refer the Keffer team to all my friends.

I am extremely satisfied with my buying experience with Keefer VW. I found the suv (Mazda CX-7) on their website. Brian Wiles sent me an e-mail and later a phone call about my inquiry. He had the suv waiting for me when I arrived. The buying process (paper work, etc.) was easy. Brian topped off the gas tank before I left with my Mazda CX-7. This suv was in excellent condition. For a 6 year old vehicle it was pristine. I loved the waiting area (lounge) They had Starbucks coffee and plenty of herbal teas. I highly recommend Keefer VW.

I am a prior Jetta owner. When I returned from Afghanistan, I was in a hurry to start a new job and I needed a car fast. I went to Keffer and Daniel De Cicco took great care of me. He didn't try and sell me something I wasn't interested in. He listened when I explained that I was interested in leasing a Jetta TDI and that I was in a hurry. We test drove the car. Daniel answered all my questions. He worked quickly with the finance department to set up the terms of the lease. He even let me use his computer to shop for car insurance. Approximately a week after the sale, Daniel made a follow up call to make sure I was satisfied with the car and that I wasn't having any problems and didn't have any questions. I walked in a few months ago and let Daniel know what I was looking for and which competitive cars I was also looking at. I let them know the price I was looking for and the exact model, color, features...etc (I'm pretty picky). I also told them that I wasn't quite ready to buy yet and they were very patient and not overbearing like the other dealers were. They also gave me the best trade-in deal from the other dealers. When I was ready to buy, they already had the car I wanted and held it for me. I've never had a better experience buying a car. No pressure, very flexible and accommodating. And, the car is great.

I've had a Jetta since high school and decided after 160,000 miles it was time for a new one. I walked in and was greeted by Daniel DeCicco. I think it would be easiest if I simply re-post my still unanswered email, as it was sent to the Client Relations Manager at Keffer Volkswagen on 10/11/2012, so that the readers here can fully appreciate and understand my score above.Dear (Client Relations Manager Keffer Volkswagen - Name Withheld) I have resisted replying to this email in hopes that I could properly temper my reply. Sadly, I can no longer hold my tongue about my shopping experience with Keffer Volkswagen. You will have to forgive me if this comes across as harsh and personally directed at you. It is not. It is simply the culmination of more than thirty days of frustration (and counting) with regards to my vehicle purchase. First let me address your points from your original email. (Client Relations Manager - Keffer VW): I see that you just purchased a CC from us and I wanted to make sure things are going GREAT!(Me): Things are most certainly not great. They are far from it. THIRTY days after the original test drive (9/11) and TWENTY-SEVEN days (9/15) after the actual purchase of the vehicle, I have FINALLY taken possession of the automobile from the dealership. The car STILL is not complete at this point. Car mats, which were present on the test drive, were missing from the final car. The second key, which is required if a car is a CPO (this CC is a CPO), has to be ordered. The mats have been mostly worked out via a revised "We Owe" form as the dealership failed to either find the original mats (missing) or take from stock CC Mats, Monster or otherwise, to replace (none on hand, had to be ordered). (Client Relations Manager - Keffer VW): I wanted to make sure that your entire car buying experience with (Salesmen - Names Withheld) was phenomenal and that you were COMPLETELY satisfied with everything. (Me): I am completely unhappy with the entire buying experience. Any positives have been completely eroded by the delays and complete lack of ownership by the dealership in the process. Further, communication, post-sale on the status of my vehicle had to be initiated by me at every step of the process. No one, and I mean no one seemed to know or care about the status of the car. I still fail to understand why it takes TWENTY-SEVEN DAYS to acquire and install: Tint, Navigation System, R-Line/Upgraded Pedals, and the R-Line trim kit. I further fail to understand why not a single soul could provide a timeline, a tracking number(s), or even a semblance of organized effort and progress towards finishing the vehicle. I could not get a straight answer about the Navigation System (a simple question - make and model of the unit is or will be what - I find an off-brand, non-OEM Navigation System installed at pickup) prior to installation. That question was NEVER answered by anyone. The icing on the cake: Today (10/11/2012) I picked up the car and had been informed it was ready. As I crank the car to leave, I discover the gas tank has been run dry (15 miles to empty). I was able to have (Salesmen - Names Withheld) ride to the BP station at the end of the street. To which, he informs me when pumping the gas, that there is a $25 limit on the fuel. On the CC, which requires Premium, that generous donation of $25 worth of fuel failed to put the gas needle to the half-tank mark. (Client Relations Manager - Keffer VW): Are you loving the car?? (Me): Any enthusiasm I had for the car was killed LONG before I took physical possession of the car. The process, or more to the point, total lack of a formal process, post-sale, has so detracted from the car that I find myself entertaining the possibility of unloading this vehicle at the next earliest opportunity. (Client Relations Manager - Keffer VW): I would love to hear that your experience here was perfect, but if there is anything you are concerned about please bring that to my attention too! (Me): My biggest concern at this point is my revised perception of Keffer VW. Through this experience, I have taken away the following views: 1.) Post-sale, Keffer VW has ZERO interest in maintaining or retaining the customer that purchased the vehicle. 2.) The Parts Department appears to do anything but order parts and provide accurate timelines for parts that may have been ordered. It also appears that more time is spent on VW enthusiast websites than with actual customers that actually order parts.3.) Personal responsibility and customer care are concepts that are completely absent and are likely not to improve in the short-term. 4.) The abject lack of consistent and accurate communication speaks volumes to the fact that sales, service, and parts are highly siloed and do not work well together. I can not, in good faith, recommend Keffer Volkswagen to anyone for any reason. No apology can correct the consistently apathetic attitude and approach I endured during the past THIRTY DAYS (and counting). I would ask that you remove my name and contact information from any mailing, email, or contact list. Any further communication on this matter either needs to directly address the lack of a second car key/car mats and be address by someone with the last name of Keffer. I have no further interest in dealing with anyone otherwise. I thank you for your time and platform for which I could share my feelings on this process. I bought a car there last month and there were some problems that took them a three times to fix. The carfax they showed me was incorrect. They told me that since I was buying the car at a good price they will repair the tires but now they are dry roted and have about half tred. They told me they wont give me new tires bc it passes inspection but I'm going to have to but tires in like 6 months. When I called up there the phones were off and I live like 45 mins away. I wouldn't buy another car from here.

We were extremely pleased with our experience with Keffer VW. The entire sales staff was pleasant and responsive to our needs. Barry, particularly, used his experience and insight to ask the types of probing questions that cut right to the heart of what type of auto we were most interested in. This became particularly important as our focus shifted from a single vehicle to potentially a multi-car purchase. As the afternoon became evening, and we were still test driving and comparing makes/models, Barry and the staff were patient and responsive. Neither my wife nor I ever felt pressured or rushed. We finally completed our deals (we ended the evening with two new VWs; a Jetta and a Beetle) as the clock was passing 11:00 PM. I cannot say enough in these few words to give due credit to Barry, Seth, and the rest of the staff as Keffer VW. Though I expect out new cars will last a long time, I will not hesitate to return to Keffer VW for any new car needs I might have.

I had a great experience at Keffer VW and my salesman Garrett was very helpful. He helped me bluetooth my phone and set radio stations. He also set my home address for me in Nav. I love my new 2013 VW Jetta Wagon TDI. On a recent trip to NC State I got 48.5 MPG. This means a lot to me since I used to drive a Yukon XL. I highly reccommend Keffer Volkswagon.

If your looking for a VW I suggest you check this dealer out. I also suggest working with Brian Wiles or asking for him to be your sales-person, even if you have to wait to work with him it is well worth it..Brian jumped through every hoop needed to get me what I wanted & needed... Just a great guy along with being a great knowledgeable salesman & not the typical salesman, being in sales myself I would know. Brian and I worked together for 3 months maybe 4 trying to be the deal together and he looked and waited and called right away when the program was going to fit my needs..They had to go get my car so I had to wait on that, along with an interior change which was my choice. I was issued a loaner for over ten days for all this to be completed. There was a couple little things still not perfect to my expectation and Brian took care of them and issued me a loaner car once again.. My husband and I received excellent customer service while visiting the keffer dealership. We test drove a couple different vehicles before making our choice. The sales associate Hugens was very laid back during the process of reviewing our choices. After signing our paper work he reviewed the interior of our car and made sure my cell phone was sync'd (all of this after the dealership had been closed for at least two hours. Excellent customer service, would recommend this dealership over some of the other Volkswagon dealerships previously visited. We love our new car!

calvin started taking care of us from the moment on the phone. I had found a used chev truck at your lot that i was intersted in and had called to see if you still had. He went and found it before he called us back and we meet him there where we test drove and he walked us through the process. but he did go above what was expected. He made use everything was up to par. he had a tail light changed and the trucks inside and windows completely clean before we left. he would also come check in on us and let us know where the truck and was in the process of getting cleaned up and getting me from point a to point b. he was very friendly and just nice to be around. He did more than what i would have expected.

I had a good experience with Keffer VW but it took multiple visits to complete the purchase. Barry Dodson was very good to work with. Without his involvement I would have made my purchase at another dealer. The first price I was given by the sales manager on duty was for the full sticker price. Obviously I walked away. After more follow up by Barry and other VW dealers quoting reasonable pricing I made the purchase from Keffer when they matched other offers. So far I am very happy with the 2012 Passat and I hope any service work needed will be completed in a satisfactory manner at the dealership.

I recently purchased a new 2013 Volkswagen from Keffer VW of Charlotte. There are several reasons why I purchased a VW and why I chose to purchase from Keffer VW. This is the second VW that I have purchased from Keffer. I purchased a new car back in '06, but had brought my '94 Audi to Keffer for service for two years prior. Keffer's excellant service department is the main reason that I purchased my '06 Passat there. Over the years I have found that Keffer VW really cares about their customers. They have serviced my wifes BMW, my daughters Jetta, given me rides to work when my car was being serviced or given me a loaner. I have owned several VW's over the years in both New York and North Carolina and find Service Manager Bill Petterson the most professional and knowledgeable service manager that I have ever done business with. That professionalism and knowledge is also very strong within the Keffer VW Sales staff. Particularly with Andy Hicks. Andy's knowledge of VW's and other makes is very impressive. His demeaner and sense of humor made buying a new VW from him a pleasure. Everyone knows (hopefully) that VW makes great cars that are fun to drive. The difference is the total dealership experience.Keffer VW ......Rocks!

I recently bought a 2012 GLI from this dealership and I have to say that the experience with Keefer was most enjoyable. It felt as though everyone at the dealership was involved in some way of making sure that this deal got done and that I walked away a happy customer. One point I would like to make to show how committed this dealer is to their customer satisfaction is that I needed the car delivered by the end of the night the following day of the purchase because I needed to travel and they did everything they could to make sure it was there, inspected, and detailed for me. They stayed after hours and had service team available for when the car arrived. I would highly recommend if you are in the Charlotte Area and looking at a new VW to visit this dealership and I look forward to working with them in the future.

This was a very pleasant car buying experience. We were in the market for a 2012 Passat TDI with a sunroof, nav, and preferably a black exterior and interior. After having half a dozen or so dealerships treat us rudely with pricing, as well as, trying to force Non-Nav cars on us, We were lucky to find the perfect one on Keffer's website. Called them, spoke with Hugens, made a deal over the phone in 5 minutes and we were on our way there the next morning from Georgia. Got there and the car, paperwork, etc was all ready. Hugens, our salesperson, was very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. Sean in finance was very punctual and organized with his paperwork. Time in the finance office was about 15 minutes total. After that Hugens showed us the car front to back, answered a few questions, and we were on our way. We were there for about an hour total and will certainly try our best to make it back for scheduled maintenance, and maybe even another VW one day :)

Barry met with my wife and I on June 2. We explained were not ready to buy yet, but wanted to Test Drive a couple Jetta TDI's. We drove a TDI Manual and a TDI Premium DSG. Barry was professional and kind. Barry kept in contact without being pushy. He did not try to "size us up" by asking about what payment we were looking for, or what are we look to spend. Barry made us very comfortable, we decided that when we were ready to buy, we would contact him. Several weeks later, we made a decision on what we were looking for. We contacted Barry with our needs, he found the exact car we were looking for. No more, no less. We came in and made the deal, they arranged to transfer the car from another dealer. 3 days later we picked signed the papers and drove it home. We had visited the other Charlotte VW Dealers and Keffer is the only one, we will buy from. Barry Dodson and Keffer VW made it a great buying experience. We are long time Ford owners. Currently own 4. If we were buying a gasoline vehicle, it would have been a Ford Focus. If Ford made a Diesel Focus, we would have one. Test Drove the Focus and rented one for several days last month, really liked it. However the mpg was not as good as the TDI. We wanted something with great fuel economy and still fun to drive. Jetta fits that bill.

I walked In the door and it took 10mins to find a sales guy!! they were in the back BS with eachother NOT COOL!!! Then I tell him exactly what Im looking for a red golf 2 door tdi dsg with a sunroof. They tried to show me 3 car on the lot. NOT COOL!!! Then I leave and I get david calling about jettas and tiguans......are you kidding!!! So I went down to VW south I had the car in my hands in 48 hours!!! keffer vw is a JOKE!!!!

My wife and I purchased a 2013 CC from Keffer Volkswagon and I can't say enough about the way we were treated by everyone there especially our sales person Brian Wiles. We went back and forth for a week trying to decide not only on the volkswagon but other makes. Brian sold the car, he was outstanding and completely understanding and never gave up. LT has excellent customer relations skills, especially the ability to converse over a wide range of topics with the customer.Although I rated the Price as Great because of the overall impression of the dealership, I would like to have had a lower price. I did get a small extra concession on my trade-in which helped. The demand and reputation of the Passat TDI makes it difficult to negotiate a really Good deal.I chose to work with Keffer VW instead of Carolina VW, Independence Blvd, Charlotte, NC because I know a customer of theirs who experienced very poor customer service. It took him over a month to get a second ignition key for the used car and, after three years he's given up on them ever getting him the requested container of touch up paint.

I went in to the dealership to look at the new EOS. The sales person that I dealt with, Calvin McRae, was extremely helpful and knowledgable. He showed me numerous vehicles and when I expressed interest in one , he immediately offered to take me for a test drive. We did that, and we then negotiated the price to buy the vehicle. I found Keiffer on the internet, and called their toll free number. Tim Black answered and I was immediately impressed with his effort to find me the exact car I was looking for. He found the car, and called me back in about 5 minutes. We discussed price and had a deal within another 5 minutes. No hassels, no game playing.Keiffer is located about 100 miles away from where we live, and at no additional charge Tim offered to have the car delivered to our house along with the paperwork for all signatures.Tim Black is a great example of what Customer Service is all about.

BEWARE!!!! Never been screwed over more by a car dealership. Bought a used car from them in December under the condition that they would do some body work repairs and give me a rental car during those repairs. Now they are telling me that they will not honor their commitment. No explanation why. Just flat out telling me they are not going to honor the deal that was made when I purchased the car. The agreement we made was in writing and everything. I m now considering legal action

Our experience at this dealership was overall a very positive one. The two sales people we worked with were knowledgable and friendly. The only negative was that finalizing the deal and getting to the signing table took a bit longer than I expected. The dealership was very busy the day we were there. Asides from Jim T, my original sales person, the rest of Keffer seem to be a bunch of scammers. I am currently trying to work through a bait and switch game they are playing. Mid April I leased a 2012 GTI, there was no question which one I wanted because I walked LT out to the exact car. After getting the run around during financing (they were very hesistant to give me the exact numbers for the sales price, money factor, residual values), they would only ever talk monthly payments, which is terrible, we finally agreed on something and proceeded to do all the paperwork. Fast foward a week and I get a call from LT saying that "we put the wrong VIN number on all your paperwork, give me the VIN on the car you have and I'll get back to you." Of course he doesn't, it takes 2 phone calls from me to even get a response. So I get sick of waiting for answers and call VWoA 4 days later to get my case sent to a regional manager. Regional manager returns my call and tells me to call the dealership and speak to Dan, who really wants to help me. I call Dan and he tells me the car I am driving is some sort of courtesy vehicle which should not have been sold and the car which I "really" signed for (the VIN on my paper work) is still sitting on the lot and he would be more than happy to bring that car to me. The only thing is the car on the lot is a cheaper trim GTI (which I know, but apparrently he doesn't, because he said he would go out and look at the car to see what trim it was and call me back, which he never did). So not only am I annoyed that I no longer can keep the car I really wanted (they told me there is no way I can keep this current GTI), I am probably going to be stuck with a GTI that is worse and in a color I did not want. Keffer Volkswagen is pulling some weird bait and switch on me, getting me to sign paperwork on a completely different vehicle than then one (which was sitting right outside the front door, because I test drove it twice!) so they could get the deal done. As a warning to all future shoppers, please check the VIN on your paperwork with your car before leaving the lot. In my excitement, I did not do this.

I had the best car buying experience I have ever had at Keffer VW in Huntersville. I drove 65 miles from my home to look at a used VW Beetle I found online. From the time we stepped onto the lot until we left the finance office this experience was nothing but good. Tim Black is one of the best sales personnel that I have ever dealt with. I hate shopping for vehicles but since my experience with Keffer VW and Andy Hicks, I can truly say...not anymore! I live in Charleston, WV and our local dealerships did not have the diesel Passat so I looked online on a Monday and had the car I wanted parked in my driveway by Wednesday evening. Keffer delivered the car to me at no extra charge! They gave me what I wanted on my trade (which was $1,000) more than the local dealer and was $2,000 cheaper on the same car if I had purchased it locally. Great Price and good value for the Car .Took a used 2009 Accord LX. Ask for Tim Black.He was great , was straight forward and told me all about the car. I would say he was he reason i purchased the car.He even made follow up calls to get me clarifications about the car.He made sure a few hundred dollars doesn't spoil a good deal. Have some wheel alignment issues with the car,timothy told he would get that resolved. Great experience so far,hope it stays good.

I knew exactly what car I wanted, color,interior,etc. and how much I wanted my monthly payments to be. I didn't want to put any money down just make a deal with my 2003 Passat as a trade in. I drove past 2 other VW dealerships to come to this one, about 20 miles from my house.They worked with me to get the car I wanted, at the price I wanted. The thing I liked best, they were very flexible in our communications back and forth. On my first trip to the dealership, I drove the model I wanted but wasn't ready to buy. Brett stayed in touch with me via email and phone. When I was ready to buy, I saw a new model CC on their website. Exactly what I wanted. But due to my job, I could not come back to the dealership to negotiate the price and discuss options. The folks at Keffer allowed our communications to take place via email and telephone. That was great and saved me time. So the next time I went to the dealership was to sign the papers. Thanks guys for your flexibility and dealing with my difficult work schedule and using technology at its best.

Brian Kauffman, our sales associate was very helpful in this experience. We traded an '04 Touareg for a '12 CC 2.00T. We purchased the CC after the second test drive and after reviewing two other vehicles. Brian and the sales staff worked with us to our satisfaction through the sales transaction.The CC has a lot of electronic features. Brian and the staff has advised us that we can come back to them and get additional instructions with the CC features if needed.Keffer VW provided very good service with the Touareg which was a key factor for selecting them for the new purchase.

I visited the dealership after finding their advertisement in the Yellow Pages. We werfe allowed to look around the lot for a few minutes and then a salesman approached and directed us to our salesman. This was the easiest buying experience that we have ever had, thanks to Andy Hicks! We did not know much about the Volkswagen but fell in love with the EOS. After driving the car I loved it even more & knew this was the car for me. I knew that I wanted a red EOS but Keffer did not have one on the lot. They were able to find one for me & Andy stayed late to make sure that the car was delivered to me by him personally. The service department is always speedy, honest, & the price is right! But, over the last year or so, Mike Smith has been the best to work with! He takes the time to explain what needs to be fixed, why it's important (or not) to take care of (or able to wait), and he does all that without making me feel like some disadvantaged woman in the big bad car dealership world. Keffer VW is a breath of fresh air compared to other dealerships in the Charlotte area. Their prices are reasonable and fair (usually about 1/2 - 2/3 of VW South's price), they take a vested interest in fixing and maintaining your car, and everyone is extremely friendly. It feels like going into a family business when going up there. Of course it is a long haul back to Charlotte on the Express bus after walking the mile or so to the stop, as VW does not pay for enough loaner cars and they really don't like giving them out it seems (I always felt guilty asking them). Their loaner cars should also be called billboards and not service loaners. They also don't wash or vacuum them. If that's the worst that can be said I guess it's not too bad. They may not be the best at diagnosing problems, but they also don't dismiss them as not existing like other Charlotte dealers are apt to do (especially when their good service advisor (Peter) goes away). They also don't break your car when putting it back together, they call to give heads up about lengthy repairs, and like I said they're all nice. Though my experience with my current car has soured me on owning a VW, Audi, or Porsche in the Charlotte area, if you must have one I wholeheartedly recommend Keffer as the only trustworthy dealer in the area that won't lie to you or break your car worse than it was to begin with.

I have bought 4 cars here and never had any problems at all with their sales department. I currently have 8 VW's on the road and use their service department for all my needs. They have always been professional, courteous and go out of their way to help me, even when I am doing my own work on some of the cars. Nobody is perfect, but I have to say they have always been as close to perfect as possible concerning my needs.
