On November 29, 2016 I brought in my 2016 Outback for 20,00 mile service. Behind the service deck it was posted at one price . I was charged forty dollars more. When question about the difference is that they have not updated the prices. For now2 on I will have to question what the real cost will be.I have no problem with the great service from the Kerbeck group. I even gave the mechanic a $10.00 tip,

Called 5 times & left messages with no response, finally got ahold of someone and she was the rudest, most unprofessional person imaginable! I described my situation and relayed all of my pertinent information, only to be treated as a total hinderance on this woman's daily activities. When I then got frustrated over her lack of knowledge and inability to help, I receive a lecture as to how rude and inconsiderate I am being. Yet I have previously called multiple times and left multiple messages asking for help and a call back, which I never received. I will NEVER recommend this dealer to anyone I know, I will also be calling the Better Business Bureau and issuing a complaint.

I had the same sort of experience as Melbourne 76.The people working at Kerbeck Subaru have possibly the worst customer service and communication skills of any car dealership Ive ever encountered. Since the end of April its now late September - theyve had a used car on their website that Im interested in. At first it was way too much money, but over the summer the price dropped enough so that I ventured an email inquiry to them.I only used an electronic inquiry because Im over 100 miles from the dealership and stopping by if we were nowhere close to a deal would have wasted my time as well as theirs. My first communication was with Vince but he would not respond after the initial contact. I once again used the inquire button on the cars listing and communicated with Matt twice. He stopped responding after we talked on the phone and I couldnt make it to the dealership on Labor Day. Really being interested in the car, I used the inquire button a third time and again communicated with Vince. In each of my communications I was very clear about the deal I wanted my car and $1000 for their car. Vinces final communication with me before I visited the dealership was, It sounds like we are close on the trade but would it be impossible for us to guarantee it with out seeing your trade in person.I completely understood that figuring theyd say something like, your car and $1200, or your car and $1500, for their car. I decided that it seemed likely that wed be able to make a deal so I headed to Pleasantville. It was a three and a half hour trip because of construction on the Schuylkill Expressway. When we arrived at Kerbeck neither Vince or Matt was available. I should have known that when your salesman is hiding from you youre in trouble. I meet with a salesman named Paul who was nice enough. After doing the test drive we got to the deal. Suddenly their car went from the internet price of $8750 to $9900 and our deal went from my car and $1000 to my car and $6800! Had I thought that we were even going to be at my car and $2000 I would not have bothered driving the 120 miles. (Before I suggested my deal I checked NADA. The value of my trade-in is $5400 and the retail value of their car is $7000.) Since there was no way I was going to pay $12,200 (my car and the $6800) for a $7000 car we left the dealership and headed home. Kerbeck wasted an entire day for me. When I got home I tried calling Vince and got his voice mail. I left a message and he did not call me back. I also sent an email which has also been ignored. My advice: Avoid this place like the plague. If their communication and customer service is this bad when buying a car their after a sale follow-up must be really horrible!

Although I have not bought the car yet, I was pleasantly surprised with the attention and information I received especially from Natalie. She was very patient with me especially when I couldn't make up my mind as to which car to purchase. She really took the time to explain different details about the two cars I was looking at. During my extensive car search I have been to plenty of dealers within the past week. Jamie at Kerbeck Subaru was by far the most honest, helpful, and pleasant person I have worked with in this stressful car buying process. I had a hard time getting approved for the car loan however Jamie helped me out and even got me a great interest rate! Overall a great buying experience. Dealt with Phil and James the GM. Both know their stuff and are very accommodating. No high pressure sales, no confusing lingo to make you get in above your head. A straightforward dealership with professionals working to get you the best deal. Stop in, take a test drive and see what their best offer is. Do some shopping around afterwards and look for a better deal. If you find it somewhere else, Kerbeck will beat it.

I was completely satisfied with my experience at Kerbeck Subaru. My salesperson was Vince, who was extremely helpful with me in explaining my different options regarding the purchase of my Subaru Legacy. He explained the different options I had in financing my vehicle, and that was extremely helpful to me in making a decision. Everyone I encountered in the showroom was very friendly and helpful. Vince made the purchasing experience very easy for me, and at no time was there any pressure to purchase. When it comes time to purchase another vehicle, I will certainly be back at Kerbeck Subaru.

Everyone was super personable and easygoing. They were all helpful, and very knowledgeable about not only their inventory, but inventories of other Subaru Dealers as well. They were not pushy at all, which is something I appreciate. They worked to get me the exact car I wanted, in the colors I wanted within my price range. This was the second new car someone in my family has purchased from this dealer, and I would go back again.

My overall experience at kerbeck subaru was excellent.....i dealt with several other dealers.....miller subaru tried to use bait and switch......prestige subaru retracted the offer they gave me and lied the whole time......and so on....Lee and Mike were very professional and Lee gave me a great price and didn't change anything when i went to purchase the car. Everyone I dealt with when buying my Subaru was very helpful and friendly. They explained everything in great length about the purchase of the vehicle. I was very satisfied with how they explained the financing and gave different options, whether to purchase or lease. I decided to purchase the vehicle and am very happy with it. I was looking for a specific used car and found the one I wanted at this dealership. It was advertised on ebay, spoke to the internet manager Mike on the phone and I asked him, since I was coming from over 3 hours away, to be very honest about the condition of the car, value of my trade in, and any flexibility on their end with the used car price. We worked out everything and I made an appointment with him to do the trade. When I got there, he asked one of the salespeople to take care of me. I was given an accurate description of the car, but that is the only nice thing I have to say about the experience. I received my offer sheet on my trade in and it was 6k under the agreed value I had on the phone with the internet manager. I was told, "well this is the best I can do." Let me say that it was not that I misrepresented the condtion of my truck, it was practically brand new. They were just low-balling me. I asked to speak to the internet manager again and was told he is in a meeting. After a frustrating hour of time, they came up on their price for my trade but still were 2k off the original agreed upon amount. I walked out. Would not recommend them to purchase a used car from. Don't like people playing games with me, especially when I had to travel a long way to get there.

We shopped for 2 vehicles from this dealership. The salesman never moved a dime from their quoted price. He never offered any help in making a sale possible. He seemed interested in getting our money and nothing else. When we finally tried to negotiate he stood up and told us to get out. We went elsewhere and found a wonderful cooperative dealer.

Mike Carson is the most unprofessional sales person EVER! He was all sweet and nice until things weren't going his way. Once I started asking questions about financing or my how my trade value was figured, his entire attitude changed for ther worse. After leaving and being totally disrespected, he has the audacity to keep on calling me for my sale. Mr Kerbeck should really take a good look at who he has working at his dealership and the way he is seen in the eyes of the public. Also the manager in the back did nothing but smoke and make very loud ignorant remarks. I'm done for good with Kerbeck!

Would NOT buy a car here. I really wanted to because I was selling my car to someone nearby and I live out of state, so it would have been the most convenient. Mark was my salesman -- he was not helpful at all. I already own a Subaru and wanted to purchase a new one. He spent the majority of the time trying to tell me why I should buy a Subaru. I couldn't get a word in edgewise -- he just kept going on and on about stories of how good they are in the snow and ice.... I already KNOW this -- I have one and I love the car, and this is why I was there. First rule of sales = understand your customer -- he clearly didn't do that.Even after this, I still wanted to purchase there due to the convenience factor. I was coming down within a month and wanted to purchase when I returned. Because I wasn't going to sign a deal THAT day, he wouldn't give me a price on the car saying that interest rates might change the following month -- what does that have to do with the price of the car? He kept telling me that he would give me a great deal and that if I went somewhere else, he would beat their price, but he wouldn't give me his own price. When I got home, I e-mailed 4 dealers and ALL of them responded within 24 hours with prices for the car without even meeting me.Also, the quote that they gave me IF I traded in my car was laughable -- they said that there was something wrong with the engine, but when I asked what it was, they just said they didn't know, but something came up. After I returned home, I brought my car to the local dealer asking to do a complete check and they found NOTHING.It would not have taken much to close a deal with me, but he failed all around. I have since purchased from my local dealer, Bill Kolb, and couldn't have had a nicer experience with their salesman, Sergio. Also, waiting the month, I was able to take advantage of the 0% financing offer.If I could give Kerbeck 0 stars, I would.

To start, so you are aware, I'm not one to shy away from giving either positive and/or negative criticism when discussing a service or product I've purchased. For nothing else, I feel I can aid my fellow consumer when making either a small or large purchase. In this case, purchasing a car is a rather large purchase and something that takes time, thorough research, and consideration. With Dealer Rater, I'm happy that I have the medium in which to express my sincere happiness with the staff and experience at Kerbeck Subaru. The experience started with a brief email to the dealership regarding specific inventory. I was contacted early the next morning with vehicles in stock and very competitive pricing. I contacted the sales consultant, Joe Zulli, who initiated the email and he was polite, courteous, and willing to meet me based on my schedule restraints. Upon meeting Joe, he was not only extremely knowledgeable regarding the Subaru product line, but, also very helpful and understanding throughout the process. He gave me the opportunity to drive each model (Impreza, Forester, and Outback) that was of interest to me and gave me the pros and cons of each. Not once did he try to sell me a specific model, trim, etc. He gave me my space and allowed me to make a decision based on my needs. As someone who has purchased many new cars in the past, Joe really impressed me with his professionalism and attention to detail. As a researcher/information professional by trade, I had done quite a bit of research on the vehicles. However, Joe was able to describe some of the subtle nuances of each car that sites like Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds, etc., seem to omit. As someone who considers attention to detail, professionalism, and good listening skills important, I wholeheartedly recommend Joe Zulli as a sales consultant.In the same light, I also recommend the overall dealership. The lot, office, and customer area is impeccably clean, updated, full of brochures, accessory information, etc. I found the environment to be stress-free without the typical distractions of loud music (a technique employed by other nefarious dealers), leeching sales people, etc., to detract from the total experience. In addition to my happiness with Joe and the dealership, I was very happy with how fast the process took from entering the dealership, to test riding the vehicles, to making an educated decision, to negotiating, and finally to signing and driving off the lot with my new Outback. All told, it was very quick and stress-free.Suffice it to say, but, I truly recommend Kerbeck Subaru and my sales consultant, Joe Zulli. As a testament to their good business/customer service skills and ethics, when I went to wash my vehicle over a week after I took delivery of my new Outback, I happened to notice a stain on my front hood that had settled into the paint. I contacted Joe and he had Kerbeck's in-house detailer buff out the stain at no charge. This type of professionalism is rarely seen in most dealerships today. As a result, I felt it was my duty as a customer to praise Kerbeck, Joe, and the entire experience to as many people possible. Good luck with your research! Buying a new car can be such an exciting experience! I've had my ups and downs with plenty of dealerships. All that being understood, if you are in the market for a Subaru, I'd undoubtedly recommend Kerbeck as a dealership considering my positive experience. Thanks for taking the time to read the post!
