My experience with Kern Motor Co. in Winchester, Va. was excellent! I was not pressured in any way to make a purchase, but all my questions were answered and additional info about the vehicle I was looking at was offered. Michael Sullivan was my salesperson and he was wonderful! He was patient, accommodating, and spent a lot of time with me over several days without seeming to be in a rush to move on to another customer. He listened to what I wanted in a vehicle and presented me with all the options for getting the right one. I will definitely be recommending Kern Motor Co and Michael Sullivan!!

The service dept. never called to let me know my car was done, I had to call them and ask if my car was done or not. During the inspection a bulb was needing to be replaced. The service dept. didn't call me and let me know about the bulb. The courtesy shuttle driver was nice and brought me home so I wouldn't have to wait.

Everybody is so friendly. Our salesperson Rhonda greeted us as soon as we walked onto the showroom floor. She had the vehicle gassed up and ready for us to test drive. Due to the chip shortage we drove over 100 miles to purchase the vehicle we wanted. The entire process (2 hours max) was so easy and efficient. We will return to Kern to purchase our next Buick or GMC just because of Rhonda and the staff. They are worth the trip.

My wife and I have been doing business with Kern Motor Company for years so when she decided to take a look at a new GMC Terrain I of course went along. At the time they did not have the one she wanted (paint color), but found one not far away and arranged for a transfer.Everything went very smoothly from the financing to pickup and we couldn't be happier. Then I made a terrible mistake; while the wife was taking care of a few odds and ends to complete our transaction, I started walking around the lot looking at used pickup trucks. Really didn't have any intention of buying a new vehicle for myself, but Kern Motors had just the right used pickup that I had been casually looking for.Again from start to finish Kern Motors arranged for financing, gave me a very fair offer for my trade and helped me complete the process quickly and I was out the door with my own "new" used pickup truck.Thanks go to Benny, Scott, Trey and the rest of the staff at Kern Motors for making two more transactions go smoothly and without hassle.

Benny found the vehicle we were looking for (they did not have the one we wanted in stock) and had it transferred to Kern Motor, Winchester, VA within 2 days of locating the vehicle. My experience was so easy, which may not seem like much, but after relating to computers on a 24/7 basis these days, it was so refreshing to talk with kind and thoughtful humans. They took over from the time I came in and I really didn't have to do anything but sit and relax and in a very short time, they were done with my car. Thank you to the Service staff at Kern's.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. They were also very patience with all my questions and I didn't feel pressured to make decisions. When I purchased a car, Jason F. took the time to explain all the new "gadgets" and told me to call anytime if I needed further assistance. Jack was so accommodating and very knowledgeable about my vehicle. He took a lot of time to go over every feature and make sure I was comfortable. He was pleasant, friendly and was not pushy. Kendall also worked with me and the bank to get my loan down to a rate I was satisfied with. I appreciated the work he did as well. I needed a Virginia State Inspection and walked in without an appointment on the next to the last day of the month and Kern was able to Inspect my car with minimal wait time. The Service Department were courteous as usual!
