My husband and I bought 2 cars from key 3 years ago. Great salesman, decent service... That was a few years ago. We don't want to knock the service guys... But the customer service is in the tank.Firstly it's difficult to get through on a phone call. So leave a message right? We left at least 3, been hung up on and sent through the automated line numerous times. No one returned our calls. I had to call the manager in the sales building to make a service appointment!Finally get in for an 8am oil change and tire rotation since we had a coupon from the valuepack. We decided to drop it off since it can take up to an hour there in the morning. Well 3.5 hours later I had to call to see if it was done! The woman (who wasn't even aware of what was happening in service) I spoke with said they were just finishing (3 hour oil change). I was pretty irate at this point so I sent my husband in to pay. He came out pissed too. The service man behind the counter said they couldn't take the coupon that we have used a great number of times because there was a requirement for 'dextrose' (Chevys). A great number of oils now come with this already so it shouldn't be any different. They charged us full price $67 for an oil change and tire rotation!We are done with Key Auto. We won't be referring any friends there any longer.

I give Key Auto a five star rating because I received exemplary service. Dean returned my emails within a timely fashion and even helped me for about four hours on his day off. The car I wanted had a faulty battery, so it was replaced that day at no cost to me. Marie was also a shining star throughout this whole experience.

In December I found my dream vehicle and after much debate and research over this specific vehicle, we were really excited to sit down and see what our options were. That part went great, everyone was friendly, laid back and seemingly eager to please the customer. After less than 5 thousand miles, and 4 service attempts to correct an original complaint that we were told would be fixed that following Monday...which It was, for about 400 miles. Then after 3 more service attempts, relating to the original complaint, with no solution or any ideas from the techs on what was actually going on. The 4th attempt to the service department was also, " Complaint not found" Now, the $2500 extended warranty was originally invalid and not eligible for the car i purchased, so they willinging corrected their mistake and said they had taken a loss on getting me the 'new' extended warranty contract' since it was considerably higher in cost" - which i must add to that, that the printed original contract given to us(1st contract Co.), the proof of our warranty, had a major clerical error that technically could have left our investment without warranty coverage at all..(which was why we were given the new contract{2nd contact Co.} ) and at this point the was still in need of repair.--Now, the issue is back, but getting worse. Service department in Somersworth's service manager told me to bring it to the audi dealership.Well, I have. However, after discussing with a certified service for VW/Audi we realized we should not pay out of pocket for anything relating to the diagnostic and resolution to the issue as it was agreed to have been resolved upon purchasing, through all that paperwork, and even through the additional 2 extended warranty contract errors..Where are those great sales and service staffers we have always heard Key Auto Group having?! I purchased a car from Wes Maynard in August of this year, and it was easy, hassle free and I got my car fast. Wes did not hassle me to purchase anything. I went looking with a certain car in mind and I left the same night with the exact car I wanted with a great rate. The whole staff was excellent. I just recently referred my cousin to get a car too. She got a great car, at a great rate and the staff was excellent as well. Wes helped her out too. I also got a $100 referral check! Love this place, I would recommend anyone buying a car to check this place out!

I just bought a used 2014 Kia Soul (!) with only 9500 miles on it from Key Auto in Somersworth and I couldn't be happier! I chose to buy my new car from Key Auto because I have gotten service on my old car there and everyone was so nice and honest. My car buying experience was exactly what I expected based on the service I have received at Key Autos repair facility. It was truly the best car buying experience I have ever had! Everyone I interacted with was fantastic, they are all so friendly and personable and most importantly, I did not receive any pressure at all to make a purchase (They do not work off of commission, which truly removes the typical pushy car buying experience). Key Auto also does not make you deal with the back and forth negotiation process, their prices are final and more importantly, very fair. Tim Novakowski was my Sales Consultant and I highly recommend working with him if you are interested in buying a car. He is truly committed to making the car buying experience enjoyable, and easy and he is very knowledgeable about different cars and the car buying process. Even days after buying my car, he has taken the time to follow up and make sure everything is going well! After choosing the car I wanted, David The wizard Hilson (My nickname for the Business Manager) quickly offered a fair trade in price for my old car, and he spent a lot of time trying to get me the financing rate that I wanted, which was tough to do, but he pulled it off! Everything about Key Auto has been nothing but a positive experience for me. I fully recommend going to Key Auto for both service and sales!

I loved key auto, they helped me get into a vehicle I felt comfortable and would enjoy driving for years to come, I was a pain I test drove 5 vehicles before I finally found my baby a 2012 hyundai elantra, My husband and I have never had a car from a dealership and I got referred by 2 people to go here, They helped us get the lowest payment possible, they didn't rush us into a vehicle, and when they inspect the vehicle they really inspect everything. My wife and I had been searching for a used Chevy Equinox for the past few months, but had not yet found what we were looking for. She saw one online at Key an started an email conversation with one of their reps and even submitted an online credit application. Long story short- by Monday afternoon we were not only in our new Equinox, but could not have been happier with the whole transaction and interaction with the staff at Key. It was the most seamless purchase of an automobile my wife and I have ever had. Our salesman Brian was fantastic. We had already crunched our numbers to know what monthly payments we could afford, and Key actually worked harder to get better financing for us that LOWERED our monthly payment. When our daughter turns 16 in a few years we will be returning to Key to purchase her first vehicle. We would highly recommend Key Auto to anyone.

In fact, in all our years of car buying experience, this was the only salesman who we could tell had honest integrity and a positive outlook and sunny disposition. Jason was efficient and professional, as well as being personable.Marie worked with us to ensure a fair trade value which we got. This was the best experience I have ever had with a purchase of a vehicle. I was absolutely treated like family. As a single woman, and having family members and friends who owned service stations, etc., I was cautioned to be very careful not to be taken advantage of when purchasing and getting a vehicle serviced. My salesman, Marc Saxby was absolutely a peach, with a no-hassle demeanor looking to help in any way possible to make the purchase an easy one. The sales manager, Marie Forbes, went out of her way to see to it that any concern of mine was addressed and taken care of. Jason, my finance person was also a delight to work with. They all have great senses of humor, as well!I said all that to say, I not only felt like I was a member of their family the way I was treated, but I got a fabulous price on a 2009 Toyota Camry-best price around; a decent trade-in amount; a spectacular interest rate; and any glitches that arose, were ironed out expediently!Thank You Key Auto,You're the Best!

Sales tax check didn't arrive like it was supposed to, and got to the day my vehicle was no longer going to be legal, they had to overnight it. I was soo stressed out & didn't have the 800+ to pay it myself.Asked for an item that was on my trade in & was told yes, but when my son went to go get the item, no one knew anything about it, and then later found out from management it got thrown out.Everyone was friendly when I was looking & buying, but the follow thru was awful, which is my last impression of my experience. Excellent customer service would have mailed my item to me, it was just a cloth mat, not expensive to mail but had sentimental value & cost 100.00. Instead its lost.

This is hands down the best car buying/trading experience I have had. In the past I have dreaded the car buying process. As a female buyer it was nice to start off working with Marie Forbes who is the GSM. She handed me over to the capable hands of James Forkell. Both James and Marie were very straight forward, honest and an absolute joy to work with. They never tried to pressure me into buying and allowed me to take the vehicle home overnight. I appreciate their "No Hassle/Haggling" approach~ I think it puts everyone at ease. Marie and Bill Enslinger (Nice Guy) worked very hard to get me a great rate and worked quickly and diligently as I was under a time constraint. James called me a few days after I purchased the car to see how I was liking my new car...great customer service. I would recommend Key Auto Group to anyone looking to buy/trade a car. A+++ service!

We are a one car family and when our car broke down beyond reasonable repair, we went shopping. We ended up at Key Auto because of a car we had seen online. We were greeted by Kevin who was exceedingly kind and welcoming. He showed us the car we were looking for and helped us decided whether or not to get it. My husband and I went shopping for a used car for our two teenage boys and we really enjoyed working with everyone at Key Auto. We decided to go out looking on a sunday morning not really sure when places opened but figured we would look around and to our surprise Jim Brown was at the dealership an hour before they opened and started helping us right away. We let him know exactly what we were looking for and he went onto the computer and was able to pull up every car that they had that fit the categories that we were looking for. They have four different locations and we were able to look at all the vehicles and actually found one in the Portsmouth location. We drove down with Jim and picked up the car and test drove it back to Somersworth. The financing was really easy and they also helped with getting insurance. I felt that everyone that we dealt with were very knowledgeable and were out for our best interest and not just to sell a car. I would suggest Key Auto Group in Somersworth to anyone that is looking for a car.

After recently having had two very disappointing experiences at local car dealerships where I live, I was very hesitant to visit another. However, upon a referral from a friend I went on over to Key Auto Group in Somersworth, NH. I am a 59-year-old woman and have my own personal reasons why I don't often trust car dealers. When I was approached by a sales person my guard went up immediately. But as we began to have a conversation about my interest in buying a preowned car, I found him to be very personable and comfortable to speak with about my recent experiences as mentioned above. He didn't give me any sales pitches as I expected he might, he simply asked if I'd like to have his business card & suggested I take the opportunity to go online once I was home to view their inventory & to give him a call if there was anything I was interested in or if I had any further questions, etc. Of course that's exactly what I did & contacted him about setting up an appt. to test drive a vehicle. I want to mention this gentleman by name because he is so worthy of recognition for all that he did for me in assisting me in the purchase of a car; his name is Ron Lessard. Ron is not your typical salesman. He didn't pressure me into anything I wasn't interested in. He went above & beyond what I expected from him in making my car buying experience one of my best. There were two other people who also deserve mentioning, Marie Forbes, General Sales Manager & Mark. I was so impressed with how they all worked as a team getting the best deal for financing that would work for "me". Key Auto Group is "top notch" in my book & I am now the proud owner of a car purchased from them. James is a wonderful sales person. As a heavy set woman I really feel out of place at most dealers. Salesman walking around like IRS agents, but at key they were down to earth just like me :)James and Marie Forbes took the time to find me the right vehicle with no pressure.It was almost like I was in control the whole time about payments etc. Marc helped me understand the products and paperwork provide by the company. My car broke down last week which left my husband and I short a car. So we decided it was a better idea to try to get a new car rather than fix the old POS! We started our search at Key Auto in Somersworth, New Hampshire because it looked like they had a very good invnetory to choose from. Mind you my credit is awful, and my husbands really doesn't exist. Well I must say that is where our serch ended. Jim Brown was our sales person...and let me tell you he was AWESOME! We had our two year oldwith us who was sick with a cold bug and desperatly in need of a nap! Jim went out of his way to try to make our buying experiance as smooth as possible. He even went to great lenghts to make the sicky boy happy. I don't know too many other car dealers that would be willing to let a customers two year old child touch, climb on and sit on their own personal Harley! He was so patient with us, getting info between mom and dad tag team running after the child. The team at Key worked very hard and never once made us feel ashamed of our situation. Marie work hard and throughly to get us the best possible deal for us. Granted we culd not get what we really had our hearts set on, but they got us into a very nice reliable car for our family. I would like to say thank you to these two wonderful patient individuals for taking thier time to understand my family and our needs, then going above and beyond to meet those needs. Oh and might I add Jim makes wonderful ballon faces for the kidos!

My husband and I were in Key Auto last week (7/2011) looking for a larger vehicle for our family. Due to medical bills, students loans, even a repossession, we weren't expecting to a) be treated with very much seriousness/respect, or b) find a nice, newer vehicle we could afford. Mary, the financial girl was the same - she worked so incredible hard to get us an amazing deal, and never made us feel bad about our situation. Within two days we drove away with the perfect car for us. I highly recommend Key Auto, Jim Brown, and Mary - they are an amazing team. I highly recommend this dealer. They have beautiful cars, and a highly professional, kind-hearted staff. I would not go anywhere else for a vehicle.
