Would give zero stars if possiblePurchased new optima here a year ago and had a great experience, yet now that the salesperson and finance manages left the customer service has taken a turn for the worst. Spent an 2 hours on hold with several disconnections just trying to talk to a finance manager. Finally, Eloy one of several finance manager comes on and is of no help at all. Basically telling me to figure it out myself and go pound sand. Great... I will not be coming back ever, I cannot wait until my lease is finished. DON'T BUY HERE AN EXPECT TO BE TAKEN CARE OF.

I had a Saturn for 13 years and loved it. Then I was in an accident and needed to get a new car. My husband had been researching KIAs for other family members and highly suggested we get one for me. We decided on the Forte and I am LOVING THIS CAR!!!! Our "sales guy" was Henry and he was great! He really went above & beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied...Thank you, Henry!

I was on the market for a fully 2017 KIA Sorento SXL, 6Cyl 3.3 Liter, AWD, and my first color scheme choice was White Pearl exterior with 2 tone Ivory/Black interior, with my second color scheme choice being Titanium on the outside and the same Ivory/Black interior. I had called KIA Downtown LA dealership on Sat 22nd at around 8:30AM and talked to Ashley (the dealership comes up as TrueCar certified dealership). Ashley looked it up on her computer and saw that the 2nd choice color was available already, put me on hold for a minute to check on the 1st choice color, came back and said "I can see that we have one in port; there's no problem getting it here! When do you want to stop by?" So I said, "Great! Im out of town at the moment; let's make an appointment for Sat 29th at 9AM. I'll be there!" During the course of the past week, between the 22nd and 29th, I called the dealership 3 times to ensure that the appointment is ON and that the car will be there. Talked to Stephanie once, talked to the receptionist and then talked to Stephanie a 2nd time (Stephanie introduced herself as Ashley's associate). After the 1st call, Stephanie was going to find out all details and call me back (as Ashley was out), Stephanie never called back (that was on Wed the 26th, the receptionist that I called on the 27th said " yes, you're good, I can see in the notes for your account that we've got the car!" Called again on Fri morning wanting to either find Ashley and/or Stephanie and hear from them. Got Stephanie on the line who reassured me that "Your car is definitely here and we're waiting for you on Sat morning to show it to you." So, I got up at 6AM (I'm living in Woodland Hills) all happy to go to Downtown LA to see the car that I wanted. We drove together, my wife and I, and got to this dealership at 8:30AM by about 8:40AM Ashley appeared; she was pleasant and we made a bit of light conversation, she offered some water and/or coffee,.... so far so good... then she said, "we have the car in the lot across Figueroa, I'll take 2 minutes to go bring the car over; be back in 5" she said, and she was gone, for, like nearly 20 minutes. We started looking at each-other; my darling wife was like "something is not right"... eventually after few more minutes, Ashley appeared, reserved, no smile at all on her face, and she did NOT come to us who were waiting for her but rather went into one of the side offices to carry a conversation with, presumably, her boss. More minutes passed and nothing, we were waiting. ...it was now around 9:15AM and we had no word of the car, so, I stood up from the guest table, stuck my had into the said office, where Ashely and 2 other male employees were having a hush-hush conversation; one of them said "can we help you"? I replied, "yes, what's going on? We've been waiting for a while here and nobody said anything to us..." so Ashley replied: "well, we don't know exactly in what lot the car is; we have 3-4 lots around were we keep these cars; we're trying to identify the correct lot so we get to the car quicker not to make you wait"... I replied, "let me ask you a question: DO YOU ACTUALLY HAVE THE CAR?", she replied "Yeah, yeah! We do! We only need to figure out where it is." I said "OK" joined my wife back at the visitor's table explained the situation and we waited some more. Another 10 minutes have passed; it was by now something like 9:30AM; I stood up again, and went to the office where our 3 protagonists were still "searching for the car". I again said "Hello, what's going on? This is unusual!" So, one the guys, in an annoyed tone of voice replied: "Well, it looks like we can't find the car, we don't know why, could have been that someone else could have bought it, could be anything!... looks like we may have made a mistake, we're only human! Can't you give me a pass?" ...so, I said "No sir, I won't! I won't give you a pass and you know why? ...because 3 times a called during this past week and 3 times I've been told that you've got the car, and I'll get to see it this morning. So, this morning I woke up at 6AM on a Sat, to come over as discussed! I kept my end of the bargain and showed up! and you, you DID NOT keep the end of your bargain; you've got NO car to show me. You've lied to me all along, and for that reason I won't give you a pass!" So the man, half screaming and in total indignation, threw his arms to the sides of his body and shouted "well, I'm sorry; we don't have the car"! I said Well Good Bye!, turned right around and my wife was right there having listened to the whole exchange, and we just walked off the dealerships premises, in total disbelief. PS: Prior to actually having the call with Ashley, on the 22nd, we had talked to 1st KIA in Simi Valley about the same vehicle specifications, and after much looking, and them calling the KIA factory, we've been told that the color scheme that we want w/ AWD was NOT yet produced for the 2017 lineup, at the factory, that they would start production by the end of Nov and it would take a 4-8 weeks to bring a car over to the Simi Valey dealership. We then inquired with a dealership in AZ - same story: the color combo in SXL AWD was NOT yet available for the 2017 model year. We've been told: "listen, if someone says they have it, they're lying to you - they don't! Nobody does!" ...so, when later Ashley said: we have it, we're the biggest KIA dealership in LA so, if anybody would have it, we would!, we were like "wow! This may be great! Perhaps these other guys are lesser dealerships with less privileges, perhaps they don't get to have these cars as soon as the "BIG BOYS" in downtown LA do. We were hopeful and we just couldn't believe that someone would lie "point blank" with such conviction, and with so many details... It took us a trip to KIA downtown LA to find out that such liars DO actually exist in the car retail business. Thus, if you're looking for some specific set of attributes for a car, and talk to these guys and they tell you - "Oh yeah! We have it!! For sure we do!!!" - after you've had trouble getting it in some other locations, the likelihood is very high that they simply lied to you with impunity, just to get your foot into their door. Thus, my rating it for this dealership is 0% or 0 starts out of 5, on that basis. This of course does NOT take into account the experience that would be possible, IF they actually had the vehicle. I would personally never visit these folks, ever! (I rated everything at 1 start because I needed to at least have a star to be able to post the review; on the account of brazen lying to the customer, the 1 star rating I've given is still to high!)Lawrence BalanWoodland Hills, CA

I had a great experience at KIA downtown. Moe was my sales person and he did a great job answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable with my purchase. Tom also came over and made me feel better about the lease to own option. They really do what they can to satisfy their customers needs. One of the porters there, named Cesar Jimenez, did a really good job cleaning my car as well. I love my car and would highly recommend them.

I came to KIA downtown because my daughter just bought a Optima, KIA and she loves her new car. I wanted to trade in my Camero so I loved the classy Optima, KIA. Its so stylish compared to the top model cars out there. I loved my Camero but there were no perks like the Optima has.I didn't see Rubin who sold my daughter a car. He was so nice and great service. So I met a sales person named FARHAD. He was great! He was kind, and took his time in showing me my new Optima, KIA. He even suggested the color a nice dark gray. I was set on Black but after I saw the gray that was the one. Farhad walked me through each step made me feel comfortable in buying a car that's so important. He is trusting and I would Recommend you see Farhad he is very professional and helpful for a big purchase in buying a new car. Thank you KIA !

Kia company socks in every way. 1- Road assistance is a joke. it took 2 hours to arrive after I explained several times my car was blocking a bus stop and the bus driver and the passenger were yelling at me for blocking their way. 2- extended Guaranty? seriously. I had a covered rental car and they wanted to me wait since Saturday morning to wait for then to have change to review the car and decide if I needed a car (despite of the fact that they had to town away my car because it wasn't working at all. 3- the car had a mayor mechanical crash. suddenly stop working and everything was locked, gear, keys windows, etc. Still the dealer wants to return the car without fixing it because they couldnt find any problem. MY car is new (only 4 months) 2016 Kia soul. Don't buy defective cars from Kia Downtown LA. When you are buying a car they treat you like a queen, once you paid they treat you like trash and ignore the car problems.

Easy car buying experience. Went to truecar.com. Kia of down town gave the best deal by over 1000$. Made an appointment and took a test drive. I liked the car so they gave me the true car.com price. I initially chose this dealership because of its location proximity but I would gladly drive the extra miles to avoid the mess that is Kia of DTLA. It is loud, noisy, dirty, crowded, cramped, with screaming babies and pushy hi-pressure salesmen... why would anyone go here? The other local Kia dealers are Lexus by comparison!

Is it worth dealer ever I have the worst experience here . The general manager was the worst person on the dealer. Could not understand his language I thought I was out of the country . Her cant speak or pronounce English correctly. I thing his name it's Tom. Never going to that and and I told friends and family members tell everybody do not go there.

Leasing a car as not as painful as I thought it would be. Brian was helpful and patient and not pushy like you stereotypically believe car sales people would be. He worked with us on pricing and answered our questions thoroughly and just made sure we didn't have experience I was dreading having. I would recommend this dealership. I was disappointed in the beginning because the car I wanted to look at got sold. I test drove a couple cars and then we started talking numbers. I told them what I wanted and I got my numbers. They had to play around with it but they got it done. Don't remember everyone that helped me but everyone I came in contact with made my visit pleasant

I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE PURCHASING A CAR!! From the initial phone call Adrien was professional, knowledgable, fun, funny...enormously personable and absolutely dedicated to doing everything to assist in the process. The entire dealership was great, particularly Chris in finance. I am indebted to Adrien and Downtown Los Angeles KIA for both my shiny new car, my daughter;s shinier new car (we bought at same time) and for a wonderful experience. The associates in the parts & maintenance department were more than helpful. Khalil listened to learn about the noises my engine was making and the issues I was having with my radio. He answered all of my questions while he prepared paperwork and collected my signatures. When he learned that I had an appointment with Elsa at the dealership, he offered to have someone escort me over- I politely declined the offer. I walked over to the dealership and was greeted by several smiling faces.

I liked Mr. Steve Lee's attitude towards the customers. He didn't try to just sell/lease one car, but instead, tried to create a long term relationship by helping me in every way that he could. I had the best sells representative Eddie he was great I wasn't sure if I was going to buy a car or not but the test and drive def help I feel in love with the car and just had to buy it. I need my battery checked asap. They accommodated my schedule despite not having an opening. When I arrived, Cal, was super quick and helpful, got me checked in and out quicker than i expected with all problems solved. My only issue it that the chairs in the lounge are too comfortable. I fall asleep every time I sit in them. If pillows could be provided, now that would be fantastic!

First of all we went to Kia of DTLA on a Wednesday and the guy from Kia of downtown La tells me and my husband that the car should be brought in early Friday morning guys because the parts for the Kia won't arrive till 2 days later and so we took our car early morning on Friday. The worker there Ara I belive it is told us it would be done by Friday and we would receive a call however we had to call them more than 3 times without recieving one single call back. We decide to call Saturday and were told we will get a call back later . Ok then we wait and when we receive the call we get the bad news that they were sent the wrong part and therefore we will have to wait even longer . It has been an unpleasant time dealing with the workers at Kia I did not have this problem with Honda though so when I compare both services I get even more disappointed for getting a Kia car .

I have worked with a soft spoken service man named Khalil three times since I bought my Kia Soul in Sept 2014 in three separate visits for routine oil changes or visits for questions. He takes time to explain the service, your options, and the technical side of routine maintenance and why it is so important to maintaining the car. He had a calm, friendly and patient approach. This type of service actually rubs off you and it brightens the rest of one's day and reflects very positively on the Kia brand name.When I purchased car, salesman Adam Brown was likewise patient and helpful as I mulled purchase options, even answering questions patiently about other vehicles even after we had initiated the purchase of my Kia Soul.

Mr. Cruz took very good care of me from start to finish ... he explained what they were going to do, gave me a finish time estimate and then even beat that time to get me done and on my way in under 90 minutes ... he even offered me coffee ... and the other staff were all extremely polite and helpful ... the cashier was friendly and polite ... all in all a very pleasurable experience ... I am from San Jose and was visiting family in LA when I had problems with my car. Khalil (Kal) was very professional, courteous and kept me well informed throughout my experience at the service center. He also got me a loaner car which enabled me to drive back to San Jose with my kids as we had originally planned; this was a huge relief because I didn't have to change my schedule or have to deal with getting a rental car. I also felt that the repairs were done in a short time frame and at a reasonable cost. I love it here at KIA Downtown this is my second time doing business with these guys in one year. First time they helped me get in my first car an Altima 2010 used, i did not have a good credit at first and i used their program "your Job is your credit". Sure enough they put me in a decent car for a decent price and affordable monthly payment, and most important they kept their promises after paying my car on time for almost a year my credit improve dramatically and i was able to lease a new 2015 KIA SORENTO from KIA downtown for as little as 0$$ out of my pocket and they paid off my trade and had the GM Himself TOM AWADA, helping me with closing up the deal. It was very local to me and the process was fairly quick. All the sales people I interacted with were very kind and respectful. Bevin was the one who hooked me in through researching the KIA SOUL on the internet. She has a very sweet and professional disposition. I couldn't have asked for better service. The entire staff was very professional and courteous. My salesman Aaron was very instrumental in my purchase, he was very patient, not pushy and honest. Although it was his first day on the job, if it was something he didn't know he was open and honest with me and did not pretend, he went and came back with the correct answer. He was very personable, all the attributes that I like with any salesperson. Aaron's boss Alan, came out before I drove off the lot, to review and explain every detail of my car (which the Cadenza has many bells and whistles), I felt very comfortable driving off in it. From the manager to the (financial person Khaldon, who even offered to share his snacks), were very hospitable and a great professional group of guys to do business with. I will definitely recommend my relatives and friends to this dealership.

Steve was absolutely wonderful! It was my first time visiting the dealership -- I had come bearing an oil change coupon, drove into the wrong service entrance, and was a little flustered. Steve was very professional, explained everything, made sure I got myself situated in the waiting room, and checked in. The service was great! Valentin is the service rep (replaced the amazing Elias who was a hard act to follow) but Valentin did a great job. Also, the shuttle driver Eddie was very personable and efficient-- a good front office rep for your dealership. The car was cleaned nicely . when I picked it up. I love the coffee service-- why not get those small (do not have to be refrigerated) half and halfs insted of that powder artifical creamer- I am sure it is the same price. Thanks.

My whole experience there was great. I got great customer service as soon as I arrived and I was never pressured into buying a car right away like other dealers do. The guy that helped me showed me every car that would suit me and my price range and was patient the whole time with me and explained every detail the cars had to offer. He made my experience helpful, quick and easy (skinny Persian guy). Never did he leave me alone, he was with me the whole time to help me pick a great car. Victor is the best also! My family has got all our cars from KIA and it's always victor we make the final deal with. He gave me different options of what I can do and ways of paying of my car quicker. He was patient and never rushed me into making a deal I wasn't ready for. I'm a proud owner of a Honda civic they had there and I'm loving it and so do the ladies. I'll keep coming back in the future to get all my cars here. Thank you guys !

I loved my experience at KIA of Downtown. My sales person Marvin Park went above and beyond to make sure I received a great deal in the car I wanted. He also took the time to explain all the fun features of my new optima! The day I bought my car my brother in law was with me and he liked the service so much that he also bought a car! After a month of having my new car I am still receiving calls to help me with anything i need for instance, getting me set up with insurance! What a major help and saves me the time.

Larry Lebedin my sales rep was a complete pleasure to work with. His attitude and ethics really impressed me. Overall great guy. Alan the manager helped us with crunching the numbers. I know I pushed him to the edge but I know he is doing everything in his power to make me happy. He's a very nice guy and hard working. Radi Abdin the manager made sure I drove home the day of the sale even though there was miscommunication on my part. I thought the car was in downtown but it was in Irvin. I really appreciate his effort to have me drive off the lot instead of waiting the next day. Bappy in financing is the most enthusiastic guy there. I don't know how but he made paying for a car enjoyable. I highly recommend Bappy he is such a smart and funny guy. Jimmy helped us with getting familiar with our cars. He was very informative and knew every question we had for him. He took his time explaining in detail and was very patient with us. I am elated and over joyed with happiness. I liked that I was recommended all the services I needed at the time for my car. Also, the employee explain each recommended service and why I need to have them. Also, the employees have a welcoming and conversational presence which I really enjoyed while waiting for my car to be done. Lastly, I was able to use my car service coupons that Kia sends in the mail and was able to receive an additional discount. I was able to get a great deal for all the services at that time :)

The salesman, Mr. Reza Rejayan was very helpful. He was very familiar with the car and all of its inner workings, and he patiently described all of the available options, and their cost and benefits. Arrived early on a Saturday w/out an appointment. Service attendant "Elias Ventura" managed to squeeze me in (THANKS E.V.). Within 2 hours the problem was fixed and they even returned my vehicle washed, I thought that was a nice gesture :-)

The gentlemen who assisted me was very polite, informative, and professional. He gave me appropriate time estimates as well as answering all of my questions. He even went out of his way to run back in and grab me more information after my service was done when I had a few more questions. It was really great working with him. I can honestly say, he was the best KIA employee that I have encountered since I bought my vehicle in 2011. Also, the waiting area was very clean and most other employees were friendly. The free car wash was a great add-in too!

Our Service rep ARA was incredibly professional, courteous, responsible and honestly just a great guy all around. He made me feel important and my business valued and that is worth a million $'s. This gentleman should be recognized and valued for the true value he brings to your dealership. If every staff member spent a little time with Ara to see how he treats customers then that's sufficient to have a lesson in true "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION", not just customer service. I must also commend you guys on your waiting area. It has the feel of a nice mini hotel lobby, FREE COFFEE and PASTRIES, Large Screen TV, Modern ULTRA CLEAN BATHROOM, and handy disinfectant with applicable signs. LOVE IT. Truly worth every penny of your investment. Even the little things like having Stevia sweetener do not go unnoticed.

Everyone there that was involved in our transaction process was extremely friendly and helpful. I've never had such a great experience at any other dealership while buying a vehicle. George Wilson and the finance manager were amazing to say the least. I will definitely send them my family and friends.

The sales person Reza was great. Answered our questions showed us the cars we wanted to see. We told him we were not going to buy that day and he still helped us as if we were buying a car. That is why we came back to him two weeks later to purchase the 14 Optima EX. Couldn't be any happier with our purchase.

On monday feb 3rd, i went to KIA OF LOS ANGELES, to see if i can buy a car that i saw on there webpage it wasa used mercedes benz , i got there to see the car i want it to buy, but for my surprise the car was not on there property the car was on the dealership of GLENDALE INFINITI , the sales person that help me that day was extremely pushy he want me to buy what he said he offer 2 cars that really i did not like there were not o.k for me... When i said none of yours cars i like, the sales person said i would ask my manager to see if we can get you the mercedes benz fromGLENDALE INFINITI to kia of los anges, i said ok,, after awhile both of them came back and said BEFORE WE CAN BRING YOU THE CARYOU HAVE TO AGREE ON THE NUMBERS, i said the numbers that means i have to commit ( they said oh no) you do not have to buy if you do not like it,, then i said its fine, do the numbers, i guest those who are in the market to buy a car should know how this feel , they come and go ask quetions , are you o.k with this or o.k with that .I DO NOT RECALL WHO IT WAS , SALES REPRESENTATIVE MANAGER, BUT HE KEPT ON SAYING , YOU GOT VERY GOOD TASTE ON this type of cars..... AFTER 20MIN OR 30MIN THEY CAME BACK TO ME AND SAID YOU KNOW WHAT THE CAR IS ALREADY SOLD FROM OUR PARTNER DEALERSHIP, C AN YOU BELIEVE THAT, ONE thing they missed , they only print the car info but they forgot to call GLENDALE INFINITI to check the status of the CAR THEY WANT TO SALE............. THEN i said on my mind thank you you wasted my time and yours .. INTERNET SALES THEN SAID GIVE ANOTHER LOOK TO OUR INVENTORY, I SAID NO, I JUST WANT TO GET OUT THERE..I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP.I END UP WITH MORE THAN ONE HARD CREDIT INQUIRES ON MY CREDIT REPORT....IT WAS JUST A WASTE..BY THE WAY I GOT A BETTER DEAL AT MY LOCAL VW DEALERSHIP

EVERYTHING FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END. The service was excellent and extremely professional. My only complaint is that the customer waiting room is not air conditioned and it was very stuffy, adding to the normal frustration of waiting. I say normal frustration because waiting for anything is dull enough. At least there was great TV on!

although the coupon I used for my 5,000 miles check only allowed the oil change, the kia tech informed me that it's important to have a tire rotation as well. on account that I had not intention to pay anything additionally, I declined to pay for the tire rotation. the gentleman found a coupon that allowed the tire rotation without any out of pocket costs. he went well beyond the call of duty, which I didn't expect..... Thanks, Sam!

I liked that I was acknowledged when I drove into the driveway. The service tech said that he would be right with me when he was finished. He took time to listen to my questions and when I was done offered, or asked if I needed a ride back.

I told my salesman exactly what I wanted in regards to the vehicle and price and that I didn't want to play games. He delivered. Alan, the sales manager came in, spoke to me briefly, came back with two options, both of which were acceptable and we had a deal in less than a half an hour.

Ahh Mann!!! my Soul cut off on the off ramp of the 405 merge unto the 91 just as it dumps onto Slauson. PANIC!!! Grace of God covered me. Once AAA came I called the nearest Kia service center to me, Downtown, Elias answered, I recall the name from one time before when I needed to replace my antenna. I explained what happen I asked it i could bring it in, without hesitation he said sure come right on in but you need to get her before 6 b/c we close. Now mind you this is Friday rush hour traffic the tow driver thought we could make it but I know I want to get off on time certainly on Friday after a full week. So I just asked could I bring it in early Saturday. AGAIN,, calming and reassuring he said certainly. Wow. When I arrived on Saturday I knew who he as but he did not know me . . . until i said it cut off on the freeway ..."oh you are the lady who called yesterday" yup that's me. But the Amazing part is .... now get this he looked at my car and pulled up my information in the computer ...okay... the heart touching part... he recalled my sisters, BOTH OF THEM who brought my car in, remembered they were from out of town -- to me that was amazing all of the customers he comes in contact with to remember such details. Heck after all of that I was Happy to spend my unanticipated and not necessarily budgeted for money! Great, friendly, warm experience.

Everybody went out of their way to offer incredible service and a great experience. The service representative who directly worked with me, Ara, was extremely helpful and courteous, as I was the first person in that morning, he quickly addressed all my concerns, went over my service history, got my car quickly into service, and showed me the very nice, clean wating area where he showed me how to use the TV and offered me coffee! I can't wait to come back for my service needs in Los Angeles and recommend the Kia of Downtown LA Service Station to my friends and peers!

I purchased this car for my daughter who's in college. It's a great automobile and our expereince at Downtown LA KIA was awesome! The car drives well and my daughter is in love with it. I am pleased and it gives me peace of mind to have her drive something of this caliber for the price! We were greeted upon arrival and promptly escorted to our sales representative, Armen. Armen was very professional in his appearance and demeanor. Armen is very personable, easy to communicate with, understood what our needs and goals were, and was very knowledgeable about KIAs products and services. We also had the distinct pleasure of talking with Victor, Radi and Chris on the final negotiation of the sales contract and financing, and could not have desired a more resourceful set of consultants, who were so very experienced in their specialty. Every professional we dealt with was eager to ensure our satisfaction, and made it a very positive experience all around. KIA is blessed to have these enthusiastic professionals on their team!

I had an excellent time buying from downtown Kia. Their variety is incredible and is what led me to them. I was searching online and they had the largest variety of the new 2013 soul. internet deal is the best. Easy, and quick. Worked out stuff online, showed up and drove, walked inside worked out a few details, and that was it.
