This place is the best. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else! Very honest people and very courteous. I know absolutely nothing about cars. Mine was making a weird noise. I took it into their mechanics and they told me I had mud clumps where they shouldn't be. I drove over gravel lined up on a gravel road when someone was laying fresh gravel down to get out of the tractors way. Anyway, the employees can tell I know nothing about cars. Instead of taking advantage of that, they said they'd bang out the mud and it wouldn't cost me anything. Then they gave me a free car wash to wash my under carriage as well. Edit on 2/8/2021 It's been a couple of years now since I left the above review and just want to note that I am still a customer of theirs and am still very happy with them. I will add that I am normally checked in by Jayson and he is great at keeping me updated on the status as the mechanics are diligently working on my car.

I had a wonderful experience with Kia of St. Cloud. I chose this dealership because it was the closest Kia dealer to me. Everyone I worked with answered and explained any questions I had. I never felt pressured to make an additional purchases or add-on type things. My salesman was wonderful and he never pressured me but gave me his opinion in an honest and helpful way.

Was interested so I called in to the condition of the people because it looked like it had hail damage so I wanted to see how bad it was. They said it wasn't bad at all, but when I got there, there was extensive hail damage on on the hood, trunk, doors, and roof. So I went inside to talk about price and I asked them kindly lower the price (not much) because it would cost quite a bit to fix damage like that. Became rude and hostile. I've worked at two dealerships in sales, and that is the LAST way to get a sale. Better luck to the next person who gets the sales guy.

I love that when I brought my car in to be fix the employee I worked with was very nice. He got me information on the warranty I had on my car because I lost the original handout. He was also nice enough to put the expiration date on it. On top of this he even got me a rental car while mine was getting fix. His work was definitely a 10!

We have done business with KoSt prviously. Our family has purchased 5 vehicles.. We bring in the cars for service. The sales folks have always been friendly, courteous and very helpful. They made the customer the prority. We started out with KoSt a few years ago. We looked for a new car from other dealers and your staff were the only ones that treated us well. We have also been extremely satified with the quality of the product. For these reasons we have become loyal cusomers. One thing that would be better would be if Kia offered a pickup truck. When that happens I will be back.

I was early, and they still got me in and out within 15-20 min. Even looked at a scratch I had and tried to get it out. I went to Kia to have a standard oil change, like I have several times before. This time, when driving off the lot I smelt oil burning. So I was required to turned around, around smoke start coming out of the hood.They looked at the car and I was told oil spilled on my exhaust, which was causing the issue. No apologizes were given, what so ever. After finally getting it home, my engine bay had oil all over the oil cap and on the engine shielding. Plus a nice heathy chip off my drivers side front quarter panel, where I am sure the tech leaned over to fill the oil. Lastly the inside matt were pushed up and was full of dirt. Thanks some much for taking care and pride in your service to customers ---NOT.

Very impressed with the way everything was handled. When I first went on the internet for info about a Kia, the dealership of St. Cloud, MN got back in touch with me and that was Dan Mertens, sales consultant, and I made an appointment to see him. I had went on a Sunday when I could just take my time and I wrote down the vin. # that I was interested in and that is the one I test drove and purchased the same day. Dan Mertens was a very pleasant person to deal with and then I did the paper-work with Sean Hernandez and that was very easy also. Sean was a very informative person that went over all the options and programs I could choose from. Would highly recommend both of them. Before I left they Dan took me out to the service department to meet Travis Martin, the service advisor but he was with a customer and did not get to talk with him but will in the future when I have to get an oil change. Like the idea it is not very far for me to drive to the dealer, about only 22 miles from my home.

I am leasing a Sedona from them, got to take it on an 24 hour test drive! They got me a better deal on my trade in then any other dealership offered. Talked me through what all is involved in leasing, since I have never done it before. They are the only dealership that had, in writing, what they mean by extended wear and tear. Josh got me hooked up with 2-way remote start. Eric went out of his way to get the car cleaned up (had balloons in it, which my girls loved) and screwed on the new lisence plates for me. JR in the service center was great at helping me fix a minor problem with the Sedona's programing and getting the remote start installed fast. The front desk lady (sorry I don't remember her name) was nice, courteous, and helpful. So all in all, I'm happy I have a Kia!

We visited this dealership on a Saturday and worked with Derik Boxell; he had been recommended to us. He was knowledgeable and thorough as he showed us two models of the Kia Sorento. I was looking on the internet for a 2014 Kia. Derik name came up as Internet manager. I called about 10:00pm on Friday night and received a call the next morning from Ralph at about 9:00am. Ralph explained that Derik was with a customer, but he would be more then happy to help me . Right off the bat I was impressed, because I had called and filled out forms for another Kia dealership and Ford dealership but never received a call. Upon arrival Derik Greeted meet then Ralph and they gave me immediate attention, even with the dealership packed with people. My experience was Fun, Happy, and I walked out feeling very good. Travis in Finance was quite a joy as well. I know these aren't terms we associate with car buying, but my patience was wearing thin, and finding Kia of St. Cloud was a wonderful and refreshing experience!!! Thanks Guys!

We recently purchased a Brand new Kia Soul from Omar at Kia of St. Cloud. After researching and looking for the "best deal" We went with them. You can't beat the 20 year 200,000 powertrain warranty that they give you for free on your new Kia purchase. Omar nicely greeted us and even drove us around in his golf cart, which We appreciated since it's quite the lot! He made the entire process so easy and simple, we were being treated like we were friends and not just another sale like the other Kia car dealerships made us feel. I bought my 06 Sportage in the Cities (that's where I lived at the time) and have serviced with Kia of St Cloud for about 3 years. They have an extremely friendly and knowledgable service staff, have always finished within minutes of the estimated time, and are competitively priced (except for oil changes where I think they are the lowest in town!). Some people might consider their extensive service checklist of potential problems to be intrusive or pushy, but I (who know almost nothing about mechanics), rely on them to spot problems. I have never been pressured to have any repairs done - They HAVE warned me about serious problems that I ignored (to the detgriment of my bank balance).I really love my Sportage and want it to be the last vehicle I have to purchase. My Kia service team is on the same page and I appreciate them. These guys and gals are good!

The salesman was ok. When we went to finance to purchase we discovered the warranty info we were given was incorrect. The finance guy was exceptional in trying to get the answers to our questions. But in the process some guy came in and we felt almost bullied and he was trying to prevent us from leaving. He was horribly unprofessional and I felt so uncomfortable. Had my husband not been with me I would have left in teers. I will never return.

I felt the buying experience was the worst that I have experienced ever in my car buying experience, being asked to buy a vehicle paint protection package for nearly $800 on a nearly new "used vehicle" with the salesperson coming up with a BS story of the cars sold in the north were not protected from our harsh weather. I felt pressured from the moment that I entered their lot, several lot lizards (sales staff) were roaming the lots looking for new prey. I am not sure who owns or manages this operation but they could be the poster child for why car buying experiences are not enjoyable. I only hope that people take great care before even looking at this dealership. I am ashamed that it is in the St. Cloud community. Buyers beware.

Two years ago I traded my 2008 HHR for a 2010 Kia Sportage, I was given the choice of a Dodge Caliber or a Sportage, I didn't even entertain the notion of the Caliber. My Aunt has one, I've driven it and I just didn't like it. They did not pressure me into that one. I fell for the Sportage and they worked to get me into it. HOWEVER, that came at a price, the old fiance broker they had was cruel and made very inappropriate comments. However I wanted that car and I took the abuse. Kia's Service. Department was very nice and answered any question I had, dumb or not. They helped in making the choice of buying our second Kia in a Forte. Which I did not buy from their dealership but they treated that car like I had. The salesperson who sold me my Sportage always greeted me and asked how I was when I came in for routine maintenance. Cut to 2013. The interest rate on the Sportage was outrageous for my credit score and I asked about refinancing and if I'd consider a new car if it'd lower interest and payment. I was given the choice of either a 2011 Dodge Nitro or a Sorento. Right away I made it very clear that Sorento would not be happening because it was only FWD. I would not give up my 4WD Sportage for that, because I could not. My partner and I made the deal, we would always have one very fuel efficient car and a larger bulkier SUV/truck for Minnesota winters, this required 4WD and I explained that. I also explained that I wasn't a fan of the Nitro either, because all I was reading was biased car reviews. They did ask if I'd like to test drive the Nitro, and I did. And I fell for it, I grew up in the land of rather big bulky trucks and that car fitted my needs. I asked if because it was a Dodge would they still take care of me, and they said of course. They were honest and told me that if there was something Kia could not fix they'd send it to the local Dodge dealership. When I explained the past fiancer, they apologized profusely, and told me he was no longer with the dealership and had not a lot of good things to say about him. The fiancer that I dealt with this time, Shawn was very good and he took my needs and history into mind. A lot of his statements made sense, and I felt comfortable with the financing agreement. I walked out with a better car, newer, fewer miles and just worth more in general and saving more money and lower my interest on it as well. And well this was going on, they were fixing my Forte that was under warranty, I did not pay a penny for that either. I do not know if I'll ever own another Kia, but they are also a used car dealership, and I always buy my cars as one owner vehicles and with that, there is a good chance I will be back in future, hopefully I won't have to be for a while and my Nitro will last me.

I have been servicing with Kia of St. Cloud for 5years and I love their customer service. Their recommendations are always honest and their prices are always competitive. Last time I was in they explained to me that my vehicle had a loose tie rod end. When I had questions they walked me into the shop and showed me the loose part. I felt very comfortable trusting the service guy. Very good service.

I will NEVER EVER do business with Kia of St cloud EVER AGAIN! They only want you to bend over so they can take your money. We were not happy with ANY of our sales team. And the service dept. was pretty good until we had a problem with our Sorento, I brought it in, they reset the computer (so the check-engine light would turn off) then said they would only fix it if the check engine light came back on. Get this, a few days later, I stalled on a busy highway, at night, by myself, in a BRAND NEW 2013 Sorento. REALLY?? The light came back on you A-holes and I wouldn't trust you with my pen let alone touching my vehicle ever again!

I hate buying any vehicle but especially hated the service I experienced at this dealership. I felt pressured, it was very stressful, and I did not feel any excitement about a big purchase. As soon as I pulled in the parking lot, I was stopped (in my car) by one of the salesman. He didn't seem to know much about any of the vehicles we were interested in. Then we were handed off to another salesman. This salesman- that I took my first "test drive" with was the most irrogant person I have ever met. The whole time he talked badly about his co-workers and continuously talked about himself and how good he was at his job. Not someone I would ever want to do business with. We told him exactly what we were looking for, as for a price range and he never met our needs. Everytime we told him that is still not what we were looking for he would slam his pen down on the paperwork before "going to talk to the man in charge". Finally his manager came over and was still trying to push us into something we didn't want to do. We finally got out of this dealership after 2 1/2 hours and ended up getting an even better deal at a dealership across town. I will definitely never go back to this place when we purchase our future vehicles. If you were smart you wouldn't either. Bunch of scammers!

Very unhappy with our new 2013 Sorento, pressured into buying a new vechicle, low balled an offer on the trade in, mileage is horrible, the recalled rough idling part took 9 weeks to get in, there is a bad wind/road noise on the passenger side and they can't hear it, I brought my 02 Yukon in for an oil change, and a few days later I had no oil pressure, and I took the oil out, and it looked like chocolate milk, and they take no responsibility for it. I also had a cousin that bought a used vehicle from here, and a few days later she had a major problem with the engine and they wouldn't do anything about it. My originial review is way too long to fit in this 4,000 character area, but I made this one short and sweet, look else where for a vehicle.

It all started when my grandparents bought a brand new 2013 Sorento. They wanted to trade in their 2006 Pontiac Montana. They were pressured into trading it in right away. They were low balled badly. The van was valued at around $10,000-$12,000, as it was not too old, had low miles, around 70,000, and was in near brand new condition. They were offered $4,000. My grandfather, knowing the value of the van, was not happy, and wanted to leave. The salesman told him to hang on, and he came back with an offer of $5,000. They ended up getting $7,500 on trade in. They were told with the four cylinder engine with all wheel drive they were buying, they would get between 24 and 28 miles per gallon. They were happy with that and ended up buying the extra $1,700 10 year/100,000 mile warranty, and the extra protection on the inside and outside, which ended up being in the neighborhood of another $700. Just like many other reviews, they said they felt a little pressured into buying the Kia as soon as possible. At 5,000 miles, it was due for an oil change. In that first 5,000 miles, they noticed the mileage was between 17 and 22 miles per gallon, it idled rough, and there was a bad road/wind noise in the top of the drivers door. They said they would look into it. There ended up being a "recall" on the bad idling, and we were told it would be in "Wednesday." That's all he said. The noise coming from the drivers was found to be "normal," but you can even hear it from the passengers side. As far as the mileage, we were told it was normal. I find it hard to believe that a small four cylinder should be getting just a tad better mileage than our full size eight cylinder trucks. When they bought the new Kia, they said the mileage should get better over 5,000 miles. Well, it didn't. We brought it back in, and we were then told once it gets 10,000 miles on the mileage should go up. Well now as it's reaching close to 10,000 miles, and no signs of improvement, we are now told 15,000 miles. Looking in the manual, break in shows between 600 and 1200 miles. That allows everything to seat right, and the engine is officially broke in around that 1,000 to 1,200 mile mark. Not real sure where they're pulling the 5,000, 10,000, and now 15,000 mile numbers from, but they are totally inaccurate. The one day we had it in there talking to a salesman about the mileage, he wanted us to wait and he wanted to take it for a drive. When he got back, he showed us a video he recorded on his phone. He turned the info center to average fuel economy and started driving. Once he was up to speed, he reset the system, and shut the radio off, the fan off, all the options he could off. I was carefully watching the speedometer, and I could clearly see he wasn't using the brakes at all when he was slowing down, obviously increasing the mileage because the engine was coasting. It doesn't take a genius to figure out how to rig that system. I can make it show anywhere from 13 to 50. That proves nothing. I also wondered why we couldn't go with, he insisted he go by himself, after watching the video I figured out why. They treat you very badly and like you are very unintelligent. We have also been thrown the excuse of not getting as good of mileage in the winter. So strange considering I can get 18 with my full size GMC Yukon XL in the winter, and it doesn't vary at all, whether it's -30 or 100 degrees out. Nine weeks after being told the recalled part would be in "Wednesday," we decided to call the Kia plant in Georgia. After a phone call from them in Georgia to Kia of St. Cloud, we had an appointment because the recalled part had come. Keep in mind, a recalled part. Wouldn't you keep a bunch in stock? No, make the customer wait over TWO months after they bought a $32,000 car from you. What ever happened to, "the customer is always right?" Not here, once they have your signature and your money, you're screwed. They're stuck with a small four banger that gets mileage like a full size truck. The vehicle itself is not that bad, but between the mileage, and the poor customer service Kia of St. Cloud offers, it was something we would have never done. We just took the warranty off, and are planning on going back to a genuine Chevrolet, that has never failed us. As far as the reimbursement Kia is offering, with almost 9,000 miles on it, we are getting a check for a lousy $71. We're averaging around 20 miles per gallon. With the old ratings that were a complete lie, we should be averaging around 26. That's a six mpg difference, that's a huge percentage. At 9,000 miles, if we were AVERAGING 26 mpg, we should have burned about 350 gallons. At $4 a gallon, that's $1400 in gas. Now we're getting 20 mpg, we have burned roughly 450 gallons. At $4 a gallon yet again, that's $1800 we have spent in gas already. According to my calculations, that's a $400 difference, not $71. Kia tried making it right, but I'm smarter than that. $71 doesn't cut it. When you tell the people at Kia of St. Cloud they say, "I'm really sorry, but there's nothing I can do," and carry on like nothing happened. It doesn't affect them that they're screwing their customers over. My next story is about my vehicle. Since my grandparents bought a new vehicle from there, I thought I'd give them a try. Worst decision in my life. Fortanetly I was spending $12.95 instead of $30,000. I got an oil change in my 2002 GMC Yukon XL. A few days later, and I was very lucky I was in it and paying attention, the oil pressure gauge read zero, and my info center said, "check engine oil pressure." I heard knocking coming from the engine so I stopped. We towed it to a heated garage, and once it was warmed up it was fine. A few days later again, it did the exact same thing. We decided to drain the oil. What came out was not oil. Kia put something in there that could have potentially ruined my engine. If I was inside letting it warm up, and it ran without oil for 15 minutes I would have a lot different situation on my hands. What came out looked like chocolate milk. I put a different filter on it and good oil in it, and luckily my truck has been fine. I finally had the chance to bring it in, a few guys looked at it, shrugged their shoulders, and said, "condensation, it was flooded, short trips, we don't know what it is, we can show you what we have in the back, what do you want us to do about it?" That's how they take care of their customers, they don't care! When I was in and waiting for my oil to be changed, they came back with a list full of things wrong with my Yukon, and basically told me it's unreliable. The tires are bad, the wipers are bad, the ball joints are bad, the brakes are bad, the belt is bad, the cabin filter is bad, yet, I haven't touched a thing on it, and it's still going strong, just like any GM car or truck out there. The prices for what they wanted to change at the time was beyond ridiculous. $120 for a belt that costs $17 at a store? With all the bad reviews this dealer has, and the crappy customer service, and the pushy salesman, something has to change. They're screwing people over, and they think it's perfectly fine. In a few years they won't be around, enough people will get sick of the way they're running their business and do something about it, and that time is now. They got my grandparents money, sold one of my cousins a lemon and wouldn't do anything about it, and just about cooked my engine, time to put an end to this mess. After looking at all of the reviews about other local businesses, this is the only one that is having major issues. They put the blame on, "a few people," and "we can't make everyone happy," but at this rate, I'm not sure they're making anyone happy.

i bought a vechile less than a day , it had bald tires, an less than a week the motor went out . While being in there shop less than a week of the purchase, they advised me it is my car, i had to speak to several people and they only gave me an option to take anohter vechile that they chose or take the one i bought with the damage motor. i felt sick to my stomach, they had my trade car in excellant condition, kia sold it the next day. So i had to take the only car they offered me, not even my choice, so you tell me should i go back.

I had a wonderful experience with this dealership. I went in there with my mind set on purchasing a vehicle and they were able to help me out with out any issues. They even found me a better rate than my own bank! Everyone was friendly there. The place is nice too. We recently purchased a car from St.Cloud Kia. This was the worst buying experience we have ever had purchasing a vehicle. We were Lied to, overcharged, and all in all we felt very uncomfortable during the whole buying process. We had heard other dissatisfied customers stories and made the mistake that it wouldnt happen to us. Wrong. I wish I would have checked out the reviews on yahoo before purchasing. This dealership wants to move fast and con you into a purchase, once they have your signature it's all over. Thanks for a miserable buying experience.
