Tom Costa is a great, personable salesperson - we had not met him before and absolutely loved him. He was training a young salesperson who was also excellent - knew a lot about the technology in the car and explained it clearly and succinctly. We very much liked and trusted both of them. Highly recommend this dealership and Tom Costa in particular.

From the minute I entered, i was greeted right away. Tommy was very knowledgeable and I appreciate the way the Dealership empowers their sales people to work with the customer. There was no back and forth between the seller and a manager to get " the best deal" Tommy knew what he was doing, showed me the #'s and was a pleasure to work with!!!

I had a very good 1st time experience at King O'Rourke. Was well received, written up, explained where to wait, given an expected time-frame, etc. Very professional. All my service needs were addressed at a reasonable cost. And the free manicure was great!

This was the most uncomfortable experience I've had with a business during these extraordinary times. As someone who is at high risk if having caught Covid-19, it was extremely disheartening to see a majority of the staff at this dealership wearing no masks at all or wearing them improperly. Mechanics came in and out of the service area wearing no masks. Salespeople walked from one end of the dealership to the other over and over without a mask. Service representatives would wear masks under their chin or just below the nose while conversing with customers. Customers were also allowed to enter indoor locations without wearing masks as well. I was there for over 3 hours and only saw an employee sanitize only one common area in the visiting lounge, despite hearing him say that he sanitizes all surfaces every hour. This created an environment where I felt extremely uncomfortable for my well being because it seemed no one here takes the recommended precautions to litigate the spread of this virus seriously. I understand everyone has their own views and opinions on this pandemic, but it still is just that and the recommended precautions should be taken seriously especially if businesses want to set an example. Unfortunately I cannot follow the example put forth by your business. I will no longer be bringing my vehicle in for service at this location and will not recommend this location to anyone as I just don't feel your staff promotes a safe environment. Thank you and be well.

I had a great experience while purchasing a new Terrain. My salesman was Nick and I would recommend him to everyone. He made me a very reasonable offer and stuck to it. I kept waiting for some kind of mark-up to occur or any of the games that a typical dealership plays to get more money out of you but that never came. Just a smooth, quick and painless process.

I purchased a new 2016 Canyon truck at King O'Rourke in Smithtown and right from the initial delivery day everything was screwed up. Salesman parked the truck between two use vehicles for me to view. Looked it over briefly and he couldn't wait after calling OnStar to exit vehicle. Examined the truck at home only to find several scratches in the paint, two huge thumb prints underneath the clear coat in the grille, wrong mats in the truck, ripped in half window sticker, and a rear step plate that was completely damaged underneath. While driving on the highway that night has a serious shim resulting from a tire out of balance as well. Returned back to dealership next day and was told not to worry about the damaged paint or grille upon returning the lease 39 months from now by Jack the truck manager. Clearly my lease money was not the same as purchasing money in his eyes. Had to drop the truck off for one week and had to call the service dept to be told oh, the truck was ready two days ago, we left you a message. Obviously not the case. Upon examining the truck in the dealership yard the "new" front all weather mats looked as though it went thru a mud bowl derby. Mud all over the mats, carpet and steering wheel. Was told that we can clean that up in ten minutes no problem. Told them to call me when cleaned and prepped as the new vehicle it is, only to have to call them four hours later. too bad the dealership has sunk to such an inadequate level of mediocrity since we had such good experiences in the past as far as service goes with our Yukon. More blame goes to management than to service but overall just a terrible buying experience.

I had an exceptional experience at King O'Rourke. Tom Clark and Josh Mitchell went out of their way to make my service experience the best it could be. There was good communication and I was constantly informed on what was going on. I was also given a beautiful srx loaner while my ats was in for service. I had brought my ats in for some very nit-picky repairs, and was surprised with how seriously they took them. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the services performed and Josh and Tom were very friendly and helpful. Thanks a lot!!

I am a Happy Mom this Mother's Day! I know many people often post negatives as to what a confusing and difficult process car shopping can be. I had shopped all over but keep coming back to King O'Rourke. This is our 7th car with them but over the years with 3 kids who became drivers.....we did have other brands that were not nearly as pleasant to buy or service! I had a GREAT experience at King O'Rourke. Jack O'Toole is their Leasing and Sales Manager and he was knowledgeable, friendly, applied no pressure and got me exactly the car I wanted! I know Peter in Service will always take GREAT CARE of the car for me! When I picked it up on Saturday Jack gave me a great SURPRISE that I can really use to get in shape this summer! Problems with service - serious brake issue that had to be re-repaired elsewhere - no refund or courtesy was offered. Problems with sales - had a deal in place, The night before pickup I was informed that I needed a $1200 extra part added to vehicle otherwise it couldn't be registered with regular plates due to weight of vehicle. Will NEVER go near this dealership again. After this experience I have decided to never buy a car from a New York dealership. Will buy out of state through the Internet. P.S. I found the same vehicle with extra added options for the same price and under the max weight. Located it in RI via internet. I guess trucks weigh more in NY - go figure.

I spoke with a used car salesman who had the WORST bedside manner EVER (Scottish or Irish accent) !! He needs to take a class on customer service 101!!! I would NEVER buy a car from these people!! Please people these reviews are real!!! Even if you have a good car its not worth the customer service that you would have to deal with after purchasing the vehicle !!!!!!!

When purchasing my Cadillac they did not have the model I wanted but another dealer did. I leased it from the other dealer who has now gone out of business . I called King and was promplty told cant return it here. They also said " I dont care what GM says" We are only a franchise.

1st time leaser. stopped in to speak about leasing 2014 Cadillac ats with "Bill." Seemed like a decent fellow. After shopping around, realized his initial offer (which was lowered significantly by the time i walked out) was ridiculously high. He matched the 1st offer i received from another dealership and said he would not wait for a counteroffer. After hearing the other dealer chopped another $525 off, he was rude and unprofessional, hanging up on me. How can a salesman be upset a customer shops around looking for a good deal? Even if he called back with a lower offer I wouldn't deal with someone so unprofessional.

On my way home from work, in my work clothes, i went to check out the Caddies. The showroom was beautiful. there were several sales people hanging around but the only salesman to approach me and ask if I needed any help was Armando. I guess the others didn't like my appearance, so they didn't bother with me. You can't judge a book by its cover. I own a major tile co. He answered all my questions with professionalism and thorough knowledge of the Escalade I was interested in. He treated me with respect, wasn't pushy,and very friendly . I am so happy with the Escalade he sold me and the service he provided, especially delivering the Escalade to my business. How great is that!

WOW! What a bad dealership I went to get my wife a new car and we put a small payment on the car to reserve it. However I went to another dealership and got the same car for 25 Dollars CHEAPER a month. When I went to get my deposit back......their rep. ARMANDO yelled at me and told me to never come back to the dealership. RUN AWAY if you walk in this place.

I recently purchased a used car from King O'Rourke Cadillac in Smithtown (2009 Chevy Impala). The salesman, Bill Aloia, was a nice guy who knew his cars and his business. I didn't feel rushed or pressured while I looked at the car. He waited patiently and answered all my questions. We went inside to talk about the car and everything went nice and smooth. He wrote the car up and went to the finance guy.Here is where the car buying stories usually get ugly. I met with the business manager, Michael Marrazzo and we sat down to look over financing. Michael was a family man and proud of it. He was very professional but also very friendly and approachable. Although I was pre-approved for an auto loan I wanted to see if he could do any better. He beat my rate by a full percentage point. He answered every question I had and the ones he didn't know he found the answer. Most other dealerships I have dealt with would make something up and make sure it was something you wanted to hear. He called the company in front of me and even had me get on the phone with the questions I had. I was very impressed. The financing went off without a hitch.I was set to pick the car up two days later but that was delayed. Not due to anything the dealership did but because of a battery issue and the lack of being able to inspect the car until the computer ran through its cycle. I picked the car up a day later than I had planned and drove it off the lot about 35 minutes after I arrived.I had purchased another car from their other location in Port Jefferson but that experience was not even close to this one. It wasn't a bad experience but this one was definitely enjoyable and if you know me I HATE most things LOL. I would definitely recommend this dealership and these two people. I have no idea how the other sales people are or the finance managers but the two I dealt with were top notch.I will rate the service soon because there a couple of things I have noticed with the car that need to be fixed. Nothing major but things that definitely need to be done.On a side note, Bill (my salesman) gave my daughter five dollars so she could buy herself something for Christmas. It made her night and mine as well. Great job Bill, thanks. (This was AFTER the sale was complete).
