I took my 04 Eddie Bower Explorer in as the "service engine soon" light was on. I needed my vehicle to be road ready for my Thanksgiving Day out of state trip. Jay was my service advisor. He provided excellent service from start to finish. He arranged a vehicle for my use while mine was being repaired. Jay followed up to keep me updated of the repair status. At 180,000 miles, my vehicle now runs like a charm. He even followed on Thanksgiving Day to see if all was well with my repairs. Jay, I really appreciate your professional manner and your sense of humor as well! You rock! You really made me feel valued as a customer...you Wowed me!

If I could give them a 6 out of 5, I would. Pete Dixon was a pleasure to deal with. Pete was quick to respond to all of our questions. Even though we had to find our car in a neighboring state (we are from Pennsylvania), Pete and the crew as Koons Baltimore Ford made the process very easy. They were far more helpful than our local dealer. Pete was professional and courteous the duration of the sales process. The price was great, the new Ford Focus is great. We could not be happier!

I took my 2013 ford explorer to the koons dealer on security blvd..i assumed if I didn't use a side mechanic for my issue and just get it done thru the dealers my truck would be fixed..well that wasn't the case ford kept my truck for 3 days and when I got it back I heard the same noise I heard before I brought it to the dealer..im sure the mechanic test drove my vehicle and heard the noise..i took it back and was told it was something diffrent..really lost faith in this dealership not to mention I still hear the noise....

I found the Chevy Equinox on their webpage and called to inquire. From the beginning of the process to the end my experience with Koons Baltimore Ford was excellent. I was also on a tight time schedule. I was able to look at the car and take it for a test drive at my leisure with no pressure. Came back decided to buy and they had us out the door in less than an hour and a half. Great deal and great service by all of those involved. I needed 3 vehicles for my company. hands down they gave me the best deal. What I didn't overly expect was the way they took care of me. they were very personable and treated me like I was the only one there. I have had it before at other places where, getting a great price meant that they didn't have to treat me like they appreciated me. Koon's couldn't have been nicer. From beginning to end, they were great and did everything they said they would do. Derek was my sales person and he literally was awesome. I was searching for an F150 with a certain price range, none of my local ford dealers got back to me with what I wanted. I talked to Scott and he told me he would get back to me once he found the truck, and called me back within the hour. He didn't try to pull any tricks or get me to pay more money. I walked in, took the truck for a test drive and then signed the papers. I asked the finance guy if I could get a better interest rate and he immediately made a call and got me a whole percentage lower. Both Scott and the finance guy were very professional and kind. I would highly recommend this dealership. They got me the truck I wanted at the price I requested.

Everyone I met at Koons Baltimore Ford was extremely nice, courteous and helpful and made the entire purchase experience very easy. Everything I asked for ahead of arriving was done (vehicle cleaned up and ready to test drive, paperwork ready to be signed, etc...). I have never had a purchase experience where I was in and out of a dealership in under 2 hours and for that I was very grateful. They have a great group of people at Koons Baltimore Ford and I will not hesitate to drive the 4.5 hours from my home to this dealership to buy another vehicle in the future. I gave a high rate because it was really a great opportunity to meet a salesman like Pete Dixon.Let me tell you I did not go looking to buy a car. I was just going to check out some cars for the future. One day I decided to go to Koons Ford on Security blvd to look at a car that really caught my eye everytime I pass Koons Ford at Security blvd.So I go there yo look at the car but it was a later model, while looking at the car a salesman came to me. This just wasn't any salesman he was the salesman. He introduced himself as Pete Dixon.Pete was so professional cool and down to the point about everything that I asked about any car on that lot. Let any other salesmen he didn't push me into trying to buy ad I would say junk. Me being a woman some roost salesmen thank they can get over on a woman causing her to buy anything.But no Pete wasn't that type of salesman. Pete was professional and excellent listener and had excellent communication skills (which some salesmen don't have). This would be the best man to go to, I did walk out with the car of my choice. The paper work was quick and easy and my service there was excellent from all the employee I meet while being service. CHEERS GO TO PETE DIXON.

I picked up a fiesta from koons Ford in Baltimore and I hhave to say it was painless. We came in and were immediately greeted by Tim who helped us make up out mind on the vehicle, he explained all of the features in detail and was super professional and knowledgeable. I was looking locally in the Pittsburgh area and with in a 500 mile radius for a new F250. Unfortunately many of the local sales people seemed to not really make an effort to complete a sale. I assured them I was going to purchase a truck with in the week? I found Koons ford on the internet and contacted them about a new 2016 F250. Scott Holt took the time to answer all my questions over a period of a couple days as I was trying to finalize my decision of what truck and where I was going to make my purchase. He was extremely professional and responsive even when he was attending to other potential sales. I was very comfortable driving over 275 miles to make my purchase with Koons ford after working with Scott. Everyone at the dealership was very helpful in completing the sale, also making sure my Enterprise rental car was picked up in a timely manor. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great deal and trustworthy staff to work with

I set up the purchase of my new Fiesta from overseas and it was so easy. Ahmed was a joy to work with. I just told him what I wanted and when I would be back in the country. I wanted to share my great experience at the Koons Ford located on Security Blvd. I just recently moved in the area and I was leaving out of Weis market when I noticed my tire was low and my tire light was on. I instantly panic and saw the Koons dealership. I went over to see if I could get my vehicle checked out. As soon as I pulled up I was immediately greeted by a member of your team by the name of Jay. He asked how could he be of assistance to me, initially I was happy about his professional demeanor as well as he was excited to help me. I told him my tire light was on and it appears my tire was a little low. I asked him did I have to schedule an appointment or wait to have my air pressured check and he smiled and said "not only don't you have to wait but you don't even have to step out of the car" he said just pull right up and I will check them right here for you and if one might be significantly lower than the others then I will have it checked out for you, I was impressed. Once he checked and put air into my tires he said that all of them were shy of 2 to 3 pounds so I topped them off and handed me his card and said thanks for coming to visit us at Koons Ford and please come to see us again because I want our dealership to be the ones to service your car from this day on with that smile. I said to myself that young well-mannered man just convince me that this will be my new car dealership home.. And I was able to make it home before my ice cream melted..Thank you Jay!!!!!

So this is a late review but, I called late Thursday (6/23) about a car. The sales person not only answered all my questions but held the car for me until i could pick it up on Saturday. Apparently Ahmed had put the keys of the car in his desk. That's awesome! Never had a sales person hold a car for me! And I was in and out in no time taking my car home.

Koons did not have my vehicle on the lot, however Ahmed Baroud and Mark Rogers located the specific Explorer I was looking for. While many other local dealerships had the exact vehicle, they were unwilling to quickly negotiate even though I specifically explained my deadline. Mark and Ahmed communicated with me often and without the salesy nonsense. In addition, Sam Boodhoo in Finance was friendly and efficient with my time. This is my 2nd car purchase at Koons Ford Baltimore. I highly recommend them.

I hope time is not of the essence, because of what I have to say.. first let me start by saying that I had to reschedule my appointment, I thought I was going to get the run-around.. nope, the young lady kindly rescheduled my appointment with no problem and also set me up for the shuttle service. At first I thought okay, I'm going to have to wait around and be late for work. No, that did not happen I was greeted by Jay, that took my info, and he presented the driver, I forgot his name but he was so professional, he opened the door and drove me to my destination with door-to door service. However, while we were on the way, I received a call from Jay, he advised me that I had a recall on my vehicle and if I wanted to get the repair done while my car was at the shop ( who does that!!) I gave my permission and was advised that I would be eligible for a rental if needed (what wonderful service), but I didn't need a rental. Jay called me back sooner than expected and told me the repairs were done and if I needed a shuttle to pick me up he would arrange. (totally awesome). I told him I would call him back to let him know if I need the shuttle service. I forgot to call him and verified with Koons service department to make sure the car was ready, I spoke to Mary, she said it was, so I went to pick up my car. The service department (Mary) took care of me right-away and appreciated how valuable my time was. When I got back to my office guess what......Jay called me to see if I still needed a shuttle and to make sure I was satisfied. I am just blown away by the service I have received today 08.02.16, if I could I would give them stars to the moon and back. Thank you Koons Baltimore Ford, I appreciate your outstanding service. And a Big Shout out to Jay!!!!!!

New experience with this Dealer. My salesperson Danaj was 5 star. She picked up my vehicle from another Koons dealership in Silver Spring MD and it was ready for pickup the following day. It's a shame that I had to take Koons to court to prove that they misdiagnosed my truck. Paid $800 for repair, brought back 2 more times for same problem for them to say on 3rd visit oh you actually need a transmission.. xxxx no give me my $800 back! They refused. Glad the judge agreed with me! Even after I won judgement, got a semi run around until I emailed next steps! Oh btw.. It turned out I didn't need a $3000 transmission. It was repaired for $460 (transmission hose) Another misdiagnosis! You would think the dealer would be better than a corner garage right? NOT!!

I usually keep my cars between five and seven years. My last three cars I purchased at Carmax. However, due to an unsatisfactory Non-welcoming a local location, I went to Koons Ford of Baltimore from a coworker's recommendation. I researched the car online, and the next day received an email. I went to the store the following day, and was greeted by my car waiting near the show room . That was awesome! Derek Lewis was my salesman. I absolutely loved the car, and needed the weekend to think about it. No pressure from Koons. I went back two days later, and purchased the car. Everyone has been wonderful, from Derek, the financial advisor, down to the service center employees. I have never experienced this genuine outstanding customer service from an auto dealership. Highly recommend this store!

I bought a brand new 2016 Ford Mustang Eco Boost Premium at Koons ford of baltimore. They had the best inventory and prices I could find online so even though the dealer was 2 hours from where I lived the drive was totally worth it. Went to test drive a 2006 Colorado listed at $10,990. After ride was over, we were approached by the "used car manager" and informed that we could NOT buy this truck for this price, but for $11,990. After communicating with them several times earlier this week, we drove 75 miles in city traffic that took us 1 1/2 hours each way. What a waste of my time.

Had the best experience in car buying at the Baltimore koons. Had to drive 3 hours to pick up the car. I was worried they might not agree on the same price or might sneak in some hidden charges I was unaware of. Very happy to see that the final amount was exactly we agreed on. All the staff is great and not too pushy about buying extras with the car. Overall, wonderful experience and would definitely this dealership to my friends.

We were helped through our experience by Reggie. He was very patient with us and made us feel okay even though we felt we were making this difficult because of our requirements to stay within a $300 - $350 payment limit. We got the WOW price of $4k less than the price on the vehicle. I didn't think, with my credit score, that I could get approved even for that price but the finance manager, Steve, managed it. He is great! We were able to get a practically brand new car with everything an actual new car gets and stay within our payment limits ($350/month). Very pleased.

I purchased a F-150 Platinum last week from Mark Rodgers and Scott Holt. I found Mark's name on Dealerrater from another customer who drove from out of state to pickup a F-150. I emailed Mark, finalized the pricing with in an hour, and traveled 3 hrs from NJ to pickup the new truck. Once in the dealership, I was helped by Scott Holt who helped me finalize on a specific color, test drive the truck, and complete the finance application. Last, I worked with Steve Ageloff in the Finance department to finalize financing and purchase an extend warranty. It was a rough experience purchasing my 2007 BMW with Koons due to bad manager customer service and the service department. I was given a lot of run around and empty promises due to a check engine light and missing part. All this within less than a month of purchase. Needless to say that I had to take time off from work to make several visits from Silver Spring to Baltimore and other places to get my car fixed. Although I bought the highest tier warranty available, the service department wasn't knowledgable enough to solve the problem. Long story short, the only notable mention is Fred for working with him with the purchase and following everything up with me to help resolve my car issues. Thanks Fred.

I left feeling good about the deal and Pete Dixon was a major factor in that. I had been looking for my specific car for years and finally tried Koons Ford after having a Co worker talk so highly of the establishment. Because I lived in Delaware, my initial contact was over the internet, I explained what I was looking for and Pete got everything together. Pete Dixon is what I consider to be one of the best in the business. One of the things I dread in life is purchasing a vehicle. I couldn't believe my enthusiasm during the process when working with Pete (twice now). He's always cool, no hard sell tactics, no pressure. He has made the car buying experience something I thought wasn't even close to being possible...so much so, we plan on purchasing a 3rd vehicle from Koons Baltimore and we'll definitely be using Pete. After shopping around for a new SUV, we checked out Koons website after watching their commercials for many years thinking they were to good to be true. We arrived at the dealership and walked around for a bit. Keith, whom we had been interacting with on the internet - came out and introduced himself. He already knew what we had him mind and show us their stock that fit our needs. All I can say is, WOW! What a deal we got on our new 2016 Escape. None of the other Ford dealers in the Baltimore area could come close to the Koons price! Plus, there was no pressure to purchase a vehicle that we were not interested in. The experience my husband and I had at Koons was amazing. When we arrived we met Verlyn. He introduced himself. We told him what we were looking for and just we're looking at the moment. He pointed us at the vehicles and let us go look on our own without hovering or being pushy. When we were ready he was ready to work with us. We gave him a few vehicles we were interested in and one we wanted to test drive. While on the test drive he ran numbers on all the vehicles so that we knew what we would be looking at when we returned and wouldn't have to sit and wait. We found our vehicle and he secured financing for us. After that we worked with Carol for financing and she is the nicest person ever. She made the process fast and we had a great conversation as well. There was somethings to be done to the vehicle after and Verlyn made sure that they were taken care of and just had to bring the vehicle back 2 days later. I would definately return to this dealership again. Everyone is amazing there and you can't beat the prices. We looked around at several dealerships and they beat them all..

I purchased my first new car 2/27/16 from Koons Baltimore. Let me start by saying they are a top notch dealership. Starting from the facility to the people. Plus their inventory is far better than any other dealer around.Ji Kim was my sales person and he was very professional and made a nervous customer feel right at home and made the process virtually painless for me and i highly recommend anyone looking for a new Ford to ask for Ji specifically .The buying process was as smooth as can be and the prices are very competitive. I had a price in mind going in there and their "wow" price was below what i had researched.I went in there preapproved from my credit union with a great interest rate, however Samuel the finance manager when i went back there got me approved from Ford Credit with an even lower interest rate which also allowed me to get a $2000 rebate at the time.All in all, Koons Baltimore is the best. I was so nervous walking in there but by the end i had no worries and drove away in my 16' Focus St.

I was looking to replace my 2002 Ford F-350 Dually. It was a Great truck, but for me it was overkill. I was looking for a 2010 F-150 with a long bed. I searched the web and saw many and drove many. All wanted a price way higher than I wanted to pay. The truck is going to be used to pull my motorcycle trailer and not driven every day. I can't take credit for finding Koons in Baltimore. That was my wife's find. She saw it and said it was a Great looking truck and priced well. I called and spoke to Derrick Lewis who from start to finish was nothing short of Great. I made a appointment to drive over from Reston, Va and meet wit him to see the truck. We all love it when a person has the answer and doesn't have to go find it. He was courteous his knowledge was great and he delivered as promised. I told him I'm sold on the truck but I'm married and in our house when buying cars it is a WE thing not a ME thing so he would have to convince us both. Well Derrick, Ray & Steve in finance were up for the challenge and now I have a Great Truck. I'm starting to like it more than my other car (Audi Q7 TDI w/euro sport pkge) I would buy from them again easily. Love that place with it's very cool owner Who fed us on the day we were there.

My wife and I both agree we had a wonderful sales experience. We initially met with Derek Lewis who stood in the rain while holding an umbrella over my wife and I so that we would not get wet. Who does that these days? He was very knowledgeable and kept us in the loop through the whole process of service that our new "used" car was going through. I was looking at a used 2009 Black Chevy Colorado pick up truck on the Koons Ford lot. Upon looking it over I notice the seats would not adjust and the plastic radiator fan guard was broke. The plastic tabs holding it in place was busted. The car fax noted a minor front end accident but nothing about unfixed items. The salesman said they would fix these things. While I was sitting in the finance office, ready to seal the deal, I asked about the radiator fan guard. The manager came over saying he didn't know about this and would go look. I figured this to be a 5 hour >$500 repair. After a few different discussion and the manager running around for two hours, the manager said he was going to gorilla glue it together. I said this was not a professional repair. Will not be able to get it off if other work needs to be done later.This manager ran around for another hour then came back to me canceling the deal. He explained that this truck had a lot of traffic on it and he could not put any more money in to it or lower the price. I asked if he was going to glue it and pass it unknowingly to another person. He told me that was no longer my concern. Between all the jokingly conversation we had, during my four hour visit, and his final demeanor with his words "that is no longer your concern" I left with a strong impression this is exactly what he was going to do. I do not think this is good practice. A consumer comes to a dealer expecting to get good quality and not ripped off or shady repairs. I am hoping this is an act of a lower management person, and the upper management will find out and make it right. Other wise I would say stay away from this location. What other shady acts do they do, if they allow this. Pass the word. To round this review out, I would like to make sure I note the sales guy called me later. He wanted to know why I left. He was down ensuring the truck seats were being fixed. When I called him back, He did not know that the manager canceled the deal.He was told I left. This also leads me to believe that the manager is trying to hide the radiator issues and will not disclose this bad repair to the next person.

I had an excellent experience here. I found out about Koon's Ford Baltimore from the Mustang6G forum. I was planning to buy a Mustang and I started researching using the forum. There were a lot of people recommending this dealership. There were many who were out of state and travelled a long time to just buy a Mustang from here. So I contacted them and they got my order for a Mustang over the phone. I didn't have to drive in, because I live an hour away. The salesperson, Danaj, was very professional and helpful. In about 5 weeks I took the delivery of my Mustang and Danaj was very careful with my vehicle. I requested them not to touch or wash my car. No one drove my car except the truck driver who brought the car from the rail yard and the inspection mechanic. On the day of the delivery, everything was very smooth and easy. I was very prepared. I already had a preapproval for a loan. So picking up didn't take too long. When I picked up the car, it was raining and it was outside. So after few days I got to inspect the car fully and found a scratch. It looked like it happened while it was being transported from the plant to the dealership. When I brought the car in for them to check it out, they took care of it and gave me a loaner until the scratch is fixed. I am very pleased with this dealership. Dennis, the General Manager, is doing a great job by keeping this dealership as one of the best dealerships I have ever been to. If I need to buy a car again, I will be coming back here. 10/10 would shop again here

I live in southern Ohio and found Koons Baltimore Ford through Ford's Build and Price website while working with some local dealers who were unwilling to honor Ford's pricing. I expanded my search of dealer inventory and found the exact car at Koons and their listed "Wow" price matched what I was expecting. Initially I was skeptical but Pete Dixon at Koons was extremely responsive and very thorough and professional and he confirmed the deal through phone calls, emails and texts. I took a day off work and drove almost 8 hours to pick up the car and was very happy with how quick and easy the sale went. They were well prepared for my arrival and all details remained the same. There were no surprises and it was almost as easy as picking up a rental car. I plan to buy another vehicle in a few years and have every expectation that I will be driving back to Baltimore to buy it from Koons.

I bought my first vehicle here and it was an amazing experience. I dealt with Joshua Oh and he was nothing less than great. I requested the vehicles WOW price and it was supplied within a timely manner. The trucks MSRP was 49k and the WOW price was 35,700, which is a significant discount for a brand new vehicle. After tax, freight, tags and titles, and x liner the final price was 40,800. That is a price that no other dealership was able to come close to. Financing was quick and easy and gave a low interest rate (4%). I would recommend anyone to go to this dealership when cross shopping Ford products.

Came to an agreement on a Wow price on a V6 Mustang and finance rates. Everything was a pleasurable car buying experience with the salesman until I met with the financial officer and manager. Didn't appreciate him trying to rip me off by adding numbers back in to get back to MSRP and some not to mention jacking up the interest rates. Also manager got amnesia on agreed price and started screwing up the math and insulted my intellegence. I have never been so disappointed and infurated in my years of buying new or used cars. Needless to say the deal went south fast because of those two and I didn't sign anything.

Shopped a 2015 Mustang GT 50 year on line where I live in S-E Pa, then I expanded my search and ended up at Koons on Security Boulevard. Talked with sales manager Tom Snyder his bottom line was good so we drove to Baltimore and met Casey Groop our sales rep we ended up building the GT and ordered from the factory. I recently stopped at Koons Ford to look at new Ford Escapes. Scott Holt greeted me asking if he could be of any assistance. His relaxed and friendly demeanor was comforting, and he genuinely seemed to be interested in helping answer my questions (rather than being interested in simply making a sale). I had lots of questions, and Scott patiently answered them all. He showed me the exact car I wanted to see (Blue 2015 Ford Escape) and let me take it for a test drive. I liked the experience so much that I decided to buy the car that night, even though when I went in I was just planning on "window-shopping." My wife joined me later at the dealership and she continued to ask Scott questions. His patience was notable, and he remained friendly and relaxed throughout the entire transaction. Bought a Ford Escape from Koons Ford Baltimore.I originally set out to test drive a Ford Explorer or Edge. They had a great inventory,and I found several that fit the bill.During the process, Verlyn Barnes learned enough about me and my needs to become a very skilled Automotive Consultant, and far beyond a Salesman.We talked about changes in life, what my wife and I planned to do after upcoming retirement, etc...After that, he took me in a direction I had not expected---to a fully loaded Ford Escape Titanium. Perhaps he already knew that I no longer needed to bulky SUV of my suburban parenting days. He definitely knew that the Escape was smaller, more fuel efficient, easier to park and easier for my wife to drive. I realized later that the rear storage area was only inches less than my Land Rover Discovery.I am gradually learning to use the technology---BLIS, Park Assist, etc... And I continue to discover unexpected details in the Escape. Two side pockets on the Passenger side---One sewn into the passenger seat, but for the Driver's Iphone to safely tuck away. Another for the passenger to store "stuff" while on a trip. The rear lift gate that opens with the wave of your foot under the bumper. The automatic lock/unlock features, etc...And on and on. Now, I look forward to putting the car to its intended use---Escape.Verlyn Barnes was much more than a Salesman, and very much an Automobile Consultant, as my example shows. He did not sell me the car I came for, but an even better one that truly fit my needs. Wow!!!Thanks

Well, I had to pick up a car recently and I was looking around the web and I saw a car I wanted over at Koons Ford in Baltimore. The Car had great features and was priced well below anyone in the area. My salesman Derek Lewis and the Finance Rep Sam Boodou, both were very professional and not high pressure, which is very good. They were also very patient too. Overall I got the car I wanted for a good price and I also got a good warranty for the car. I took possession ofthe car and soon discovered it had an issue with the rotors. I brought it promptly into their service department and it was fixed on the fly within an hour or so without an appointment. Their service advisor Ken Dillon, and the service team were also professional and treated me well. The time spent there was not long at all and their processes seemed to be very efficient compared to other dealership experiences that I have had in the past

Pete picked us up at the airport at 11am when our flight arrived from Columbia, SC. We test drove the car with him and right when we got back Sam (who was actually supposed to be off) worked with us on the paperwork and financing. From the time Pete picked us up at the airport, we were out of the dealership with the car by 1:45. Delesia worked with me after the sale to get the car properly registered in South Carolina. Their prices are unbelievable to begin with, but their customer service is the best I've seen- and this is car #12 for me. I will definitely make the trip from SC to MD when I need another car.

We traded in our 2013 Fusion after the recall work was completed to avoid any possible problems in the future. Ahmed, who had also sold us our 2013 Fusion, bent over backwards to put us in a new and improved 2014 model. Ahmed had to leave for an outside appointment, but he made sure others completed the process, and he called me the next day to make sure everything had gone well and to see if he could do anything else for us. We spent months looking online for a new truck because I hate buying a car. After finding a F350 that I liked online at Koons of Baltimore, I e-mailed the dealership and had a response within a few minutes. I spoke to Tom and he actually quoted me a price over the phone which was less than I had hoped for. Of course I didn't tell him that. We made plans to visit the dealership the following day and Tom e-mailed me the name of the person who would be helping me.Once we arrived, we were greeted very nicely and then our salesperson Casey walked up to us. He had already had the vehicle cleaned and sitting out front so we could test drive it, another pleasant surprise as most dealers don't even look for the vehicle until you show up. My husband took our 2014 Ford Fusion in to Koons Baltimore Ford for scheduled routine maintenance in the form of an oil change and a tire rotation on March 11, 2015. The service technician in charge of our service was Steve Harrell (unsure of spelling). As my husband drove away from the dealership he noticed a strange grinding type of sound coming from the front of the car and was worried something had been messed up with the front brakes during the tire rotation. However, he was wrong about the problem with our car, which he discovered as he was accelerating down the road when the car suddenly stopped dead on the road, and the front drivers side tire rolled away down the street. Fortunately, no other car or person was injured in this accident, but my husband did hit his head hard and was very shaken up. Immediately following the accident he stumbled back across the street to the dealership where our salesman, Ahmed Baroud, tried to assist him by calling the service department to come get the car and to figure out what happened. The service manager, Paul, came up, changed the front tire, and returned the car to the dealership for repair. They got a rental car for my husband and sent him home even though he was clearly shaken from the experience.I spoke with the Service Manager, Paul, who told me there was only minor fender damage caused by the accident. The following day we met with Paul who took full responsibility for the damage to our car and assured us our car would be repaired to look like new. He further told us they would Take care of everything and would Make it right. When I first saw my car I saw not only was the drivers side fender damaged, but the front bumper was partially off the car; the hood was no longer centered; and damage had been done to the rotor when it hit ground. (I have pictures of the damage that could also be included with this review if that would help.) Paul also told us the damage was minor, showed us the body shop repair estimate, told us our car should be ready by the end of the following week 3/20/15, told us he noticed the rotor had flat spotted and would be replaced, and put us in a dealer rental.The accident occurred 5 weeks ago, and my car has still not been repaired to my satisfaction. During this time I was never contacted by either the body shop or the service department with updates about the status of my car or to apprise me of any delays in completing the repairs. I left a message for Steve Harrell on Thursday, March 26th to ask for an update on my car. When my call was not returned by Monday, March 30th I called again and was finally able to speak with Steve, who was not able to tell me anything about what was happening with my car. He told me he would leave a message for the Body Shop Manager to call me with information. After not being contacted by the following afternoon I called Paul the Service Manager to find out what was going on. He had not realized until Steve told him the day before that the work on my car had not yet been completed. He followed up with the Body Shop, explained the reasons for the delays, and told me the car should be completed by the following Tuesday or Wednesday. 4/ 7 or 4/8. In the early afternoon of Friday, April 10th, after not hearing anything else about my car, I again called Paul to find out what was happening. He called back around 2:00 to tell me my car was finished and was being cleaned up.The first and only time I was ever contacted by the body shop was late afternoon on Friday, April 10th, 4 and weeks after the accident, when they called to tell me my car was finally ready to be picked up. Because of previous plans, the late time of day I was told the car was ready and the limited Saturday hours of operation of the Service Department and Body Shop we were not able to get my car until after work on Monday, April 13th. We looked over our car and found that the rotors had not been changed, the hood was still not properly aligned, and they had not even put the spare tire and accessories back away. We went in and asked for Steve, but he was gone for the day and no one else there could tell us anything about the unsatisfactory status of our car!When Steve contacted me the following day he told me the rotors and other service had been done in the service department prior to the body shop working on it, and the obvious oxidation on the rotors had occurred in the 3-4 weeks since the repairs were made. It seemed to me that he had not even looked at the car or reviewed the message we left prior to calling me and I was at work, so I asked him to call my husband for additional information about what was still unsatisfactory about the repairs. Steve admitted to my husband the rotors had not been changed. We returned to Koons that evening and reviewed the body shop and service records regarding the repairs to our car and discovered the rotors had not been changed, the front axle and connected parts had not been inspected for damage, and the cost of the repairs was about $1000.00 less than the estimate making me wonder what else was not done. We are still waiting for a final resolution to correct the damage done due to their sloppy work and negligence. A complaint has also been filed directly with Ford.Due to this nightmare experience I NO LONGER TRUST THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND BODY SHOP AT KOONS BALTIMORE FORD AND WILL NEVER TAKE ANOTHER CAR THERE AGAIN FOR SERVICE OR REPAIRS!After speaking with the General Manager, Dennis Koulatsos, I discovered my anger and distrust of the Body Shop may be a bit displaced because the Service Department should have taken the lead on making certain the repairs were completed quickly and competently. While we still do not have our car back, I am now receiving updates from Paul about the status of the repairs regularly and hope this will be resolved soon.

Mark Rodgers, the Sales Manager and Pete Dixon the Salesperson, were always busy but treated me like I was their most important customer. And it was obvious they were treating all customers that way. And, most importantly, the price on the car was terrific. You can just tell that it is a very good dealership because there are always lots of customers there and deals are getting done. Was reluctant to purchase a new Ford as I have had two bad experiences trying to buy an Explorer over the last two years at other dealers. Stopped in on a whim. They made me a deal that was incredible at year end for 2014 and at the last minute I backed out. Two weeks later almost mid January I called salesman Ahmed back and asked if the deal was still available and he honored it. Went to look at a 2005 ford f-150, took for test drive, heard strange noise but only lasted half a minute before stopping and there were no warning lights so didn't think much of it. Bought the truck, took it home, the next day I drive it, I hear the strange noise again and the battery light comes on this time. Took to my friend who's a mechanic and they told me the alternator was overcharging the battery. THEY HAD SOLD ME A TRUCK WITH A BAD ALTERNATOR.So I called them and they forced me to drive all the way back up to Baltimore (I live on the Eastern Shore of MD) to have it fixed and they also TRIED TO BLAME IT ON ME AFTER ONLY HAVING IT FOR 2 DAYS!!!!!!THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND KICK YOU OUT THE DOOR AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLEI WILL NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

The sad thing is after being a loyal customer for years (Purchased 2 SUV's, body shop 4 times and numerous service) I honestly can't believe this would happen. I had found my car online with all of the options and the color that I wanted. Only problem was it was 1 1/2 hours away. I was going to have the car "dealer traded" but started an email correspondence with Matt Stoudt at Koons Ford Baltimore. I was able to get the car at a better price which made the trip south a lot easier. Matt answered my many questions with professionalism and humor. Many times you walk away from a dealership with a feeling of being taken advantage of, I didn't because of Matt. I would have liked to have had more for my trade, but I know my new car was below cost so I justified the trade. My only recommendation, if Koons is not going to give you Kelly Blue Book for your trade don't put the link to KBB on the website, it only makes the customer angry. I would highly recommend Matt though!

I had ordered a Transit Connect from a local dealer on Feb. 10th - The van came in on Sept 18th - That's right , 7 months later. Stuck at the Port of Baltimore for 4 months. Went to Koons and got a more expensive version for a lower price. One day deal. I shouldn't have waited but I did. 2nd truck purchase from Koons in 4 years. I should have just dealt with Koons from the beginning.

In the '90's and '00's, my wife and I bought four cars from Koons. We then went on to two other brands. I wanted a '14 Mustang before they were all gone as I wanted the retro looking Mustang rather than the restyled '15 coming out soon. I worked with Matt Stoudt whom I had never met before and he was excellent from the first email until he handed me the keys and I drove home. I had concerns about some of the features on the Mustangs, such as the Comfort setting that gave a better ride, so he showed how that worked and we took a 45 minute test ride. Being so late in the model year, the inventory for base model V-6s was slim, but he found the exact car I wanted and I took delivery two days later. Although I had not bought any cars from Koons in ten years, I found that same great service and respect that I liked from years ago, and it was great to be back in the Ford/Koons family. Also, I have worked with Brian Deal in their Parts Dept several times this year trying to locate hard to find or obsolete parts for an '04 Mustang. Brian went the extra mile locating the parts I wanted every time, as well as showing me how to install some of them, or showing other options for parts I needed. So now I have a great salesman to buy a car from again and a great parts guy to help me locate parts. Forget the rest. Go with the best!

Enjoyed working with Matt Stoudt and the Koons team. It was definitely one of the most pleasant buying experiences I've had. He worked with me to give me what I felt was a very fair price for the vehicle that I wanted. Koon's Ford of Baltimore, and more particularly our sales rep, Matt Stoudt, provided us with the best truck buying experience ever. They started off with honoring a great on-line price for a 2014 F-150 which was many $1000's less than the MSRP. For this reason, there was no haggling, pressure, or pain of having to deal with the sales manager to get a good price. On top of that Matt knew everything and answered all of our questions about our new truck, including all of the additional cool feature we got with an upgrade to a XLT F-150 for a small additional cost which was well worth it. The finance rep was equally knowledgeable. All said we are totally pleased.

I noticed on the Internet the great pricing on a new 2014 mustang GT with the performance package and a 6 speed from Koons. After spending the better half of a Sunday night talking to Keith in sales about the car and trying to get it financed I was told that the following day they would check my finance options. On Monday I was told I was approved for the car but Keith would not tell me the particulars on this loan and I was then told another person was interested in this car and that I had to be present at the dealership. in other words it was whoever got there first! Well , living in Vermont that was not an option at that moment he even told me the finance person was not there and would not arrive until the afternoon . Another family member of mine then called the dealership and had no problem getting a person from finance . He even told me the monthly payment I was ready to arrive the following Saturday to purchase . But due to this dealerships mis communication and telling the other party that I was interested in buying the car I would have thought firstly, I would have been given my monthly payment options by Keith and second not have been lied to . Terrible terrible service....

Truly from top to bottom the best experience I have had in buying a car (and i usually buy about every 2-3 years). Easy price negotiation and NOTHING CHANGED when I went back to financing (the most important part!!!). It never fails that I have a deal worked out and go to sit with finance only to find that they neglected to tell me SOMETHING that will change my payment or terms. Was a real treat to sit down with Desmond and have him actually deliver what Mark and Pete had promised! Will gladly use them again when I am ready for a new vehicle.

By far the best experience I had with a dealership, no 80s sales guide. after a few minute chat with Tom i made a decision to get in the car and go check it out, have to admit i already was introduced by a friend who purchased from same dealer and was very happy, however until you experience yourself you will not fully understand how easy and hustle free to purchase a car from Koons of Baltimore, they staff was friendly and worked as a team to get me in and out with best deal and car, Ahmed was great not only during the visit but by following up and going out of his way to retrieve my EZ pass that i forgot in a rental car and only emailed upon my return to NY at midnight. Following a thorough internet search, I settled on one specific Ford Escape that ticked all the right boxes. It was located at separate Koons dealership in Virginia, however, the sales staff in Baltimore was more than willing to send for the car and beat any price the other dealership was willing to offer me. This saved me an hour and a half worth of travel and made my buying experience with Koons super convenient. We had worked out the price, pre-approval, and terms of the purchase prior to my arrival. With most of leg-work done beforehand, it took less than one hour at the actual dealership. The sales and finance staff really understood that I was looking for a fast and efficient buying experience, and that's what they delivered. Great place to buy a car!

I purchased a CMAX, sight unseen in 2013. I live over an hour and a half away so I was very hesitant on this type of important purchase especially since I don't have a expendable income and my budget is tight. I also haven't had a car payment in over 5 years so I was very nervous. Koons was wonderful and the best car buying experience I have ever had. I live in central FL, and just recently purchased a new Focus Electric from Ahmed Baroud, at Koons Baltimore Ford, over 700 miles away. All I can say is, the process could not have gone any smoother. I tried several local dealerships, and once I found the car was not available locally, offered to pay for shipping or pick it up and trailer it home. I received many blank stares, and NO callbacks. My experience at Koons Ford Baltimore was fantastic! Matt was extremely helpful in showing me different colors of the Fiesta, and didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't want or didn't need. I told him the vehicle I was interested in and he stuck to showing me that car and that car only. I didn't feel pressured at any point to make a purchase I didn't want, and he didn't try to pressure me into anything outside of the budget I was looking for. Matt was personable and friendly, both to me and my parents, who accompanied me as this was my first car purchase.The dealership also offered me a really great deal on the car, and gave me a good amount on my trade in. Carol Walker was a pleasure to work with in regards to the financing and loans, and took the time to spell things out for me very clearly. I had zero questions go unanswered. She also had a great personality, that made the entire process a little less daunting and a little more enjoyable!Overall, as long as my car runs smoothly and Koons Ford Baltimore continues to be helpful, I will most certainly look here for other future car purchases.

I'm a busy woman with an overwhelming schedule. As a fulltime manager in the field of addictions, and full time last year doctorate student I'm always on the go, not to mention licensure required trainings. My previous 2003 Kia Spectra :-( took its last highway run with me, so I needed another vehicle ASAP. After weeks of searching the Maryland area used car dealerships and craiglist adds, I was beyond depleted and exhausted. Needless to say, I became hopeless in the process of purchasing another vehicle. Meeting random people who attempted to haggle a sale, Matt from Koons Ford on Security Boulevard brought new light to shopping for a used car. He was patient and kind enough to listen to my banter and venting on the phone. Upon my finishing he apologized for my bad experiences then offered me the opportunity to come in a look at a 2011 Kia Rio which from the internet was in my price range. Because I live 10-15 minutes walking distance of the dealership I told him I would walk there. Just as I was headed out of the door Matt called me back and stressed his concern for me being a female, the cold inclement weather and it being dark outside. He said he would come and pick me up. He arrived very fast (he better not had been speeding to pick me up lol). Yes he picked me up in what has now become my vehicle. Matt is knowledgeable and has an air of reliability. I felt confident about my purchase and highly recommend coming here to shop for a used car. I wish I had gone here initially, I could have saved myself worry and headaches. The fine print says to add the shipping, a processing fee, and subtract the applicable Ford rebate. Advertised Presidents Day sale 125% KBB for trade in. I did not expect to get 125% for my trade, but even actual KBB would have been nice. My actual KBB trade in value is 29000. I was offered 26000 taken up to 28000 for the 125% bump this still did not reach actual KBB. So all I can say is do your homework before shopping Koons!

My son was looking for a new vehicle and since we purchased the first one through Koon's in Annapolis and we were extremely happy with the service we received there he began looking at the Koon's websites. He found the Ford F-250 he wanted at Koon's Baltimore. There was a WOW price on the internet and it was a great price so he called to inquire about the vehicle. At no point was he told by Kevin the WOW price included any rebates and he was given the impression there would be $4000 in rebates available to him. He completed his financing paperwork to see if he would be approved for a loan. Kevin called back to let him know he was approved and at that time Kevin did tell him he could get $2500 rebate or 0% financing and that most people opt for the $2500 because the APR would be so low - anywhere from 1-3%. My son was happy with the info so we drove from central NY to Maryland- 51/2 hours to make the deal. During our visit to the dealership there seemed to be a very unhappy employee that screamed "I quit" and walked out. This of course caused a little stir and was a little embarrassing. We waited for Desmond to go over the contract and give us the "news" on the loan. He gave us the price minus the available rebates and then told us my son was approved for a loan but the finance rate was 5.89%. When we told him Kevin had said the finance rate would be 1-3%, Desmond said that was the best rate they could come up with. My son was okay with the rate although he had been told differently. So now the paperwork has been signed by my son and the representatives from the dealership and all seems okay. No one at any point asked him if he would like to test drive the vehicle and even after purchasing the vehicle he was supposed to get an "orientation" but that never happened either. Kevin came out and synced my son's phone and that was it. Wait, I can't forget that my son also had to ask about the floor mats that were supposed to be in the vehicle too since there were none in it. They did get those for him. So my son is heading back to NY in his new vehicle and I am heading back in mine. My son stops to get something to eat and I continue on. About an hour later he is calling me to tell me the dealership(I believe it was Tom) called him to tell him he needed to return because the contract was incorrect. They told him they were not supposed to deduct the rebates from the WOW price he had seen on the internet and that was the price AFTER the rebates and oops they also forgot to include the freight charges. He was told if he didn't return to the dealership with the vehicle they would be sending someone to NY to repossess the vehicle. Since he is only 23 yrs old and doesn't know the ways of "car dealers" he returned(yes.... drove an hour back to the dealership. They explained all about the internet price and the rebates being included, blah, blah, blah. They said they would give him an extra $1500 off the WOW price and fill his gas tank again since it was their error. And of course they were all too happy to type up the new contract and finance paperwork which he did sign after again being told by Tom that if he took the vehicle to NY it wouldn't be the dealership that would repossess the truck but that Ford financing would send someone to repossess it since there was no way Ford financing would agree to the amount of the vehicle and the financing of it. How I wish I had been there to listen to that conversation since it does not make any sense what-so-ever. So Tom basically threatened my son into signing the new contract in fear of having the vehicle repossessed. When my son returned home with the new contract and I reviewed everything I asked about the $1500 they said they would take off the WOW price since there was nothing showing the reduction. And if it weren't for my son reminding them they needed to fill the gas tank again they weren't even going to do that. I then contacted Tom at Koon's and he "tried" to explain the $1500 deduction they gave my son. The long and short of it is that they didn't charge him the freight fee and the additional taxes that would have been included which still doesn't come out to a reduction of $1500. I have been in contact with Ford and they were sending a notification to the dealership regarding the complaint but we haven't heard from the dealership. I also contacted Ford financing and was told they have no idea why the dealership said they would send someone to repossess the vehicle. The only way Ford financing would do that was if payments were not made. And they said we should call back because they had not yet received the paperwork from the dealership and that they could review it once they have the contract in hand. Best yet was Ford even said it might be in our interest to contact a lawyer. I have done that and will be meeting with him in a couple of days. So to review "WHY" the dealership received such low ratings: they screwed up the paperwork, took advantage of a young adult, lied and threatened him with repossession, lied about reducing the price for his inconvenience and not honoring a signed contract. We also went back to review the website with the WOW price and there was a * next to the price and it did appear to say it included the $2500 rebate or 0% financing but there could be additional rebates to reduce the WOW price even further - check with your dealer. To me that means the additional $1500 rebate should have been taken off the WOW price. Either way, there was a signed contract and the dealership should have honored that contract.

I was looking for a specific vehicle which I found they had on their inventory, however when I contacted the dealership I found out the car was not available due to being a special order from someone else. I was in contact with Mark via email about a car until one day he called me to tell me the car was ordered, the person cancelled the order. I immediately made the trip from Philadelphia, PA to Baltimore, MD to pick it up. Everything was done via the computer so when I showed up, my new car was already detailed and pulled up in the front ready to go. Mark in sales and Desmond in finance made this shopping experience a great one and will definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new Ford. I knew what I wanted and I don't want to deal unless, you can offer me something better than I have found! Which Matt did and fully explained what were the best deals for our particular situation.So when my daughter had an internship for her Nursing program it became obvious that we had to purchase a vehicle that could get her back and forth safely, added to that stress, she goes to school in New Hampshire and the last snowfall there was 12 to 14 inches!!! Matt helped me find the perfect 4WD Escape at a great price and we were on our way to New Hampshire in style! My Dad and I wanted to purchase a brand new Mustang GT for my mom's 65th birthday. We didnt really know where to start, but we luckily fell in the hands of Matt Stoudt at Koons Ford. We visited the dealership and ordered the car with Matt in early November. My dad and I both agreed that Matt made the process incredibly simple. I never had a good experience with a car dealership prior to working with Koons Ford of Baltimore. Generally speaking, I do not trust dealers and always assume their number one priority is their bottom line, not customer service.Dealing with Koons was a pleasant surprise and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone interested in a new Ford. For starters, their OTD price on our new Mustang was so good it was worth a trip from north Georgia to pick it up. Our local dealers could not compete.Matt Stoudt (our sales rep from start to finish) answered all of our questions promptly and honestly via email without any trace of pressure or typical salesperson harassment. He arranged a driver (thanks Craig!) to pick us up from the airport and deliver us to the dealer free of charge. The car was washed, waxed, detailed, and fully fueled upon our arrival. He even offered to buy us dinner while we waited in Koons' comfortable, well-kept showroom.Desmond Dowdy (our finance manager) was just as friendly and finished our loan application process in record time. He did not pressure us to purchase any additional service contracts in which we weren't interested. He answered every annoying question I could think of regarding the terms of our loan with a smile and had us in and out of his office in less than 20 minutes. Some dealers like to manipulate their numbers to fool unwary buyers, but Desmond shot straight the whole time and we got exactly the deal to which we agreed.If I am ever in the market for another new Ford, Koons is the first place I will contact. Worth the plane fare!

My wife and I decided some weeks ago to pursue obtaining a lease car for her to drive back and forth to work. We honestly solicited lease offers from every major manufacturer through whatever dealership wished to respond. All solicitations and specs were emailed out at the same time on an email contact only basis.Matt Stoudt was the very first to respond and the only sales person to respect our email only wishes. He helped us tweak our spec and patiently pursued us with gentle and courteous contacts. On 12/31 as the day was winding down and my wife again changed the specs, Matt responded with great personality and professionalism even though he had other customers in house and in the process. The result, he found the Fusion my wife wanted, put a deal together that my wife could live with (no small task) and she leased a new silver Fusion. Matt prevailed over 40 other competitors because of his professionalism and unwavering efforts to satisfy our needs.

Mark, Tom and Steve were great to work with! They made the purchasing process extremely easy, and helped me in all aspects of the sale - vehicle selection, test drive and financing. Working with Mark was like having a friend at the dealership, and Steve went out of his way to spend over an hour going over all the financing options available to me. Mark was great. I live approximately 2 hours away from this dealership and my time is very valuable to me. This is something that I stressed over and over. I didn't want to be given the run around with pricing and have a dealer pull the old bait and switch on me. Mark made this car buying experience very easy. I went back and forth between a couple different dealerships trying to get the highest trade in value for my previous car. After getting what I thought was a very good offer I decided to see what Koons Baltimore Ford could do. Mark greeted me at the door and had the car I was interested in ready to go. I told him the numbers I needed to see to make the deal, and he made it happen without question. The offer I received for my trade was considerably higher than the offers other dealerships had made me. This was the easiest transaction I have had in 40 years of car buying. I was treated respectfully by all the staff I met and the transaction required the minimum of haggling. It was also very efficient to get from agreeing a deal to closing. I had visited 5 dealers in total. The other four increased their part-exchange price significantly to match Koons Baltimore only when they understood I had a better offer. I chose to go with Koons as they were "upfront".

They found one at another Koons location and brought it over just for me to take a look at it. I ended up buying that new 2014 mustang. My wife and I made the decision to check out the Koons Ford in Baltimore based on their selection, their reviews and their prices. I knew enough about every single vehicle they had in stock to know: I didn't want a hybrid or anything to do with one. I didn't want a car that was painted white, black or primer / silver of any shade. My wife's Focus wasn't going to be around much longer and I was getting tired of dealing with a sedan. We were met with MATT who did a VERY fine job in his honesty, his professionalism and his time spent with us. I didn't, in the 4+hrs we spent with him feel pressured by the usual sales b.s. We checked out Blue Edge SE / Fusion in similar trim and Escape in higher trim = jacked Focus and found Edge SE done just right. SE Edge is a very nice solution in a current car with no extra electrical b.s. There was no pressure for up-sale. No 4 square sheets, no monthly payment tactics. No pressure for financing, No nothing. He actually wanted to gain our business and our respect. My wife I had everything we needed to do business that day. We knew what we wanted, how we wanted it and just what we expected by the end of business that day. The finance woman we met with was honest, no b.s and truthful about our trade involving all numbers. I can honestly say... He lined us up with a Edge that is quite possibly perfect. It didn't have any of the touch screen, tactile, overdone issues that magazine reviewers complain about. It had enough buttons to operate without looking. I also hadn't driven a recent Fusion, which got me thinking: The idea of a Red n Tan Fusion, with the light tan / sand interior a decent spoiler and tape package... could be in my future. MATT sold the Edge to her and the "Fusion" to me in such a way that I hadn't even thought about either car previously for us. I'm literally shocked about the attitude and treatment we received. I'm not AT ALL the type or have the attitude to give praise easily, dude earned it. Ive been driving Honda's for 15yrs now, I might actually trade for a Fusion when the time comes. YO Matt, you a'ight with me. P.S If you ever get that red n tan cloth Fusion in with the 2ltr turbo and the Sync (no nav, no moon / sunroof, no pb start, no power seats, just as base as possible).. Id love teaser shots.

I have never experienced buying a car via text. It truly makes the car buying experience hassle-free. Matt Stoudt and I traded about 15 text messages and the deal was made. He proposed, I countered, he accepted and the deal was done. I went into the dealership with my vehicle to trade and much to my surprise, Koons matches CarMax offers on trade ins. Tom Snyder closed the sale. He handled every detail very professionally. He filled my tank with gas, briefly explained the important features on my new car and paired my phone to the SYNC system. And finally, Carol Walker handled the financing through Ford. She is extremely knowledgable about Ford's different options and guided me to the best financing product for my needs. Carol explained several different packages that were available to protect my investment. Generally I do not purchase extended warranties. However there was one product that I felt would really benefit me. A Maintenance Contract that covers all routine maintenance for 75000 miles. Now that's piece of mind. The icing on the cake is that this deal, including the maintenance contract, which is a $1600 value was still several hundred dollars less than their nearest competitor without a maintenance contract. This was hands-down the best new car buying experience in my life!

We had decided on a Focus having rented them, liked them, and been impressed by not-easily-fooled reviewers, Car & Driver to be specific. I had not bought a new car since 1984 and things had changed. This time we decided to use one of the Web pricing services where you spec the car you want, get a "target" price, learn what others have paid for that car, and then get a short list of dealers willing to sell at that price. We did this and got responses from 3 Baltimore dealers. I asked each if they had the specific car and color we had specified. I received a note from Matt Stroud that they had a similar car, different color, and it had a backup warning device, but he would see if he could get us a price adjustment on that; otherwise he would meet the target price. One of the other dealers responded with a price higher than the target amount and did not say whether he had the car we wanted even after I sent another email asking. He did say he would match any price I got elsewhere. I should note that I NEVER buy from anyone who doesn't give his best price in front, or waits, as this guy did for another dealer to do the heavy lifting. Third dealer sent a boiler plate pitch and no answer to either price or whether they had the car.So we went to Koons, and bought the car from Matt. I'm 70 and have bought a lot of cars over the years. Although price negotiation used to be part of the fun, and I usually enjoyed it, I'm glad this part of purchasing a new car can be bypassed. We still had a good time with the purchase and even the paperwork. Koons has a paperwork guy named Ray Baldwin, I think, who waltzed us through the biggest pile of agreements I've seen in years. Again we had a good time. There's no reason not to, but it doesn't always happen this way. We once bought a car from Car-Maxx and the paperwork session was nasty, people were argumentative and not very sympathetic to my need to read what I was being asked to sign - I got the impression that most of the papers they needed signatures on were to hold them blameless in the event anything at all happened. It was entirely adversarial.I do read papers and at Koons, I didn't find anything unfair or unreasonable, only the sorts of things they might have wanted to make sure that disputes were handled more or less fairly. One might wonder why it might be better to buy at a large successful dealer rather than a smaller one. My take is that a large dealer doesn't have time or motivation to mess with you. If they can get a deal that meets their requirements without spending undue time or risking making an enemy by tricky dealing, they'll do it every time.I would add that the Koons staff seems both diverse and intelligent. I liked everyone I met there. The lady who answers the phone is a gem. I would add to all of the above that a dealer with intelligent, enthusiastic employees is bound to be a good place to work, or they wouldn't be there, and a good place to do business with because they are there.So I do recommend Koons in Baltimore if you are interested in a new car.

Matt Stoudt was a great salesman to work with on my new car! He came highly recommended from my brother who also purchased from an Escape from Matt earlier in the year. He went beyond the normal salesman duties and worked very hard to please us even before we entered the showroom. He was able to find exactly the car I wanted and was very willing to start the conversation of finding my car via email, saving me time from driving to yet another dealership and being disappointed with my experience. This was not the case at all with Matt and Koons Ford. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and Matt came out with the numbers and we looked at the Escape soon after. We even kept the Manager and finance department later that evening and they were never discouraged or rude to us and made sure we had the best deal available. I would highly recommend Koons Ford in Baltimore and Matt in particular. We look forward to dealing with him in the future on our next Ford purchase.

This was my first time to purchase a vehicle by myself and the staff at Koons made it so easy. The process started on the web site and ended with me driving away in my new Ford Edge. I found the car on the site and requested information and a price on it and was contacted by Keith that gave me the price and told me to come down (the dealership is 53 miles from my home) and he set me up with a salesman that would help me. I arrived and worked with Matt. I can not say enough about how wonderful Matt is to his clients. He had the car waiting for me to look at and take for a drive when I arrived. We went for a short drive and he explained all the features are on the car (Edge Limited) and the options (Sync) and how they work. After arriving back at the dealership, I gave Matt my keys for my trade and told him what I wanted for a car payment should we make the deal. Keith, Matt and Alona worked to make that happen. They were all wonderful. They were able to work all the numbers to put me in the car at my desired payment. Through all of it no one lost their patience with me (if they did, they didn't show it) and were very understanding as to why I wanted to stay at that amount. They are great!! All of them were right there to give me all the information I needed and very personable. They made me feel comfortable and the process did not stress me (which it very well could have). If anyone in the Baltimore area is looking for a car I would highly recommend this team, especially Matt. He knows the vehicles he is selling and is very patient in both making the deal and explaining everything about the vehicle.

Dealership and salesman Tom Synder recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. Once we decided we wanted the Ford (2013 Edge Limited) they gave us a price which was spot on with what the buying services and Edmunds were quoting. No haggling required! THEN Tom went out of his way to find the interior/exterior color we wanted which involved another dealer and a $400 increase in MSRP which Koons absorbed! Finally delivery and financing were equally well handled. As good a car buying experience as I have had.

I was surprised that I was treated with the same respect and am heartened that my Koons Ford experience was just as good, if not better, than the mentioned dealers. Keith O'Connor was a pleasure to deal with, and was extremely pleasant, even though I was very particular about the specific model, options and color combination I wanted. He searched high and low, found the car out of state, and within twenty four hours I drove away with my new vehicle. Mark Rodgers was my sales guy. He was very helpful in answering all the questions I threw at him before I even came in. He was a calm guy and did not hard-sell me (though he and I both knew I was going to get the car anyway). Everyone we dealt with, mainly Mark and Carol, were friendly. I feel like they explained everything well and took their time with me. They gave me a good price, I got a good car, and I was mostly pleased.Car buying is long and stressful mainly because it is a big commitment and a lot of information to take in and go through so, in and of itself it was not my favorite experience but that had more to do with my own way of processing things than their delivery.Overall, I liked it.What I did not like? Well, I know they have to go over the extended warranties but that was a bit time consuming even though I had said I really did not want them. I came in prepared to turn those options down. What I did not come prepared to be pitched was a anti-theft device called "Lo Jack." Not knowing much about it, thinking it might lower my insurance, my focus being directed to the extra monthly cost rather than the overall cost of the device/service, and already being stressed and on overload with information, I bought it. I signed all of the papers and finalized the sale of everything and immediately started questioning my decision on the device. I am feeling quite a bit of buyer's remorse over that decision and am feeling kind of ugly about that part of the experience. Ultimately, I made the decision and should have said "no" the third time I was asked (did the first two times but did want more information) instead of yes. Again, my bad but still feeling a bit displeased with that part of the experience. This is the part of the experience that caused me to give fours in some areas instead of fives.Not to end on a bad note though. Just prepare yourself to be pitched that item and come prepared to make an informed decision and not an impulsive one. Overall, good experience with just a little regret.

I wanted to purchase a new Ford Fiesta for my daughter and based on the reviews that I had found I decided to visit Koons on Security Boulevard. I am so happy that I did, I met with Tom Snyder and he immediately set to work to find the perfect car for my daughter and at the best price that I could find anywhere! Every aspect of the sale went quickly and efficiently. The people I dealt with could not have been more helpful and courteous. I drove 2 1/2 hours to pick up my car and I would definitely do it again to have the experience that I had with this purchase. I would highly recommend Koons to anyone interested in purchasing a Ford vehicle.

I purchased a 2013 Ford Escape from Koons Ford this past Saturday and have to say I had a great overall experience. Ford's website actually referred me to a different dealer when I made my initial online inquiry. However, I didn't like the salesperson or overall experience there so sought out a different dealer. And I'm glad I chose Koons. I contacted Koons Ford after seeing a Ford Escape model that interested me in the dealership's online inventory. I dealt with Matt Stoudt throughout the entire process from the intial email contact through to the actual sale and have to say he was great. He was friendly, honest, responsive and just a pleasure to deal with. In truth, everyone I talked to at Koons from Matt to Marvin Fowlkes to the other salespeople I casually chatted with were friendly and made the overall car buying experience easy and painless. I would highly recommend this dealership if you are intersted in purchasing a new Ford.

Just bought a 2012 F150 from KOONS FOR BALTIMORE yesterday. I am very happy with my new truck. Everyone I came in contact with at the dealership was VERY professional and not pushy in anyway shape or form. Both Desiree and Mike were very helpful and worked hard to get me a price and payment that I could afford. I would reccomend this dealership to any friend or person who wants to get a GREAT Ford product and who wants superb down to earth sales expierence and reps. Last month, I bought a prevously-owned 2010 Eddie Bauer edition Ford Explorer from Koons Ford Baltimore. I was dealing with the used car department. We negotiated what I felt to be a fair price, and at their suggestion, I purchased the extended bumper-to-bumper warranty.I am glad I did. Just several weeks later, a horrendous sound emanated from the Explorer when I tried to shift it out of "Park". I was at work and the Explorer was in a downtown parking garage. I called Koons and they called the roadside assistance company. When they were delayed, Koons sent out a driver to pick me up and take me back to the dealership. Then they provided me with a loaner car for the several days it took to fix the Explorer.The problem: the sealed differential came apart inside and most of the parts had to be replaced and the unit rebuilt. Total cost was around $2,500. Cost to me was $100, the cost of the deductible from the bumper-to-bumper insurance policy that I was thankfully encouraged to buy. During all aspects of the sale and later service, I feel I was treated most fairly. Koons Ford Baltimore certainly lived up to the axiom of: "Excellent service after the sale."

I must say from the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with warmth and appreciation for the fact I had chosen this dealership to explore. I met my salesperson (Gerard), and was impressed from the first. Gerard took the time to answer any and all questions I had, listened to what I had to say and I felt no pressure at all.In fact at one point Gerard told me his goal was to make me happy and if that was not possible thank you for coming in. Tom and Carol were amazing. Because I'm tied up at work, it was very difficult for me to get away to go to Koon's and look at cars, and it was hard to find time to talk on the phone. I found the best price on a new Mustang GT that I've seen anywhere else. Tom worked with me over e-mail to confirm all of the features of the car and get the ball rolling on purchasing the vehicle. He was e-mailing me back as late as 10pm to answer my questions. There was no hassle over the price of the car or hidden/unexpected fees. Tom and Carol even worked to get me a financing rate that was lower than anything my bank could do.Oh, and the Mustang is pretty amazing, too. Fast is an understatement.

WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!!!!! Be warnedBought a brand new 2013 Mustang GT Convertible and had by far the worst car buying experience I ever ever experienced. I've been buying cars for over 45 years and have never been treated so bad by a deanship.First off Mike Tomazos was extremely rude any time I spoke to him and would never turn any of my phone call. But I'm getting ahead of myself, first I bought a brand new 2013 Mustang GT from Koons in the beginning of July I live in Miami so obviously they had to ship me the car. Right off the bat Mike was making the actual purchase of the car extremely difficult by never returning calls and by making me do all of the legwork since my salesman Adam was a brand new salesmen. I have never had a harder time giving somebody almost $6k down and trying to but a $40k car then I did with the folks at Koons. Once the sale was complete about 10 days later since according to Mike it takes that long to do the paperwork which is BS it should have been finalized in an afternoon minus the overnight delivery of documents for signature. The car was now going to be shipped from Baltimore to Miami to make sure it was on it's way and to know what the status was I would have to call multiple times a day. Once Koons told me it was enroute I had a temporary sign of relief until when it came time for the truck to pull up to my driveway with the car many days later I got a car from the trucker that the car is still in Baltimore and that he had a trailer fire and the car is parked at the truckers house until arrangements could be made. Koons never told me the car never left and they were contacted to pick it up I had to call them the next day to inform them what the situation was due to their heads being firmly up their &!$ 90% of the time. At this point I didn't know when I would get my car so I call my attorney and Ford customer service for some answers, fortunately ford customer service had the regional manger of Ford I believe contact me admit fault of how this is being handled told me that Koons telling me that they don't like shipping cars was inappropriate to say and basically making sure the car would be sent ASAP. A few days later I received my car which was in great shape thank god, when I called Koons up to get reimbursed for my rental car they told me that there was nothing their going to do and that they paid extra to ship the car to me, by the way I paid for shipping I'm not liable for a surcharge due to their negligence.To Sum up If your going to but a car go to another dealer that cares about customers not just making money and that when all else fails Ford ended up making things right.

I did my homework and knew I wanted a '13 Escape. I originally dealt with David Miller at Koons Ford in Baltimore. He did a great job of keeping me updated while I waited for the '13 model to become available and helped me "build" my new car! David left Koons and Tom Snyder took over. He kept me posted on the progress of the car. When my car was ready for pickup David came in on his day off so I could have my new car ASAP! Overall it was a very pleasant experience!

Tom did an excellent job in helping my dad and I chose the car that we were looking for. We were searching for a black 2012-2013 Mustang and Tom found one just like I had at liked at a previous dealer brand new off the truck and brought over to Koons. He made sure that it was washed and cleaned for us, as well as offering if I wanted to drive it again. Tom even showed me a different color car that I was interested in and gave me his personal opinion which aided me in the process of which color car I wanted to chose. The color that he showed me was Banger Blue, and even though I liked it, it ended up being a little bit too exotic for the rest of my family. So in the end my dad and I ended up going with the black 2013 mustang. Tom helped us with all of the paperwork and made it an easy process for us. It was a very hot day that day and he offered us water and was very caring and friendly. The price ended up being better than any of the other Ford dealerships that we had gone to previously that week, and so I know my dad greatly appreciated that. Overall i left Koons of Baltimore satisfied and happy with the choice that my dad and I had made. I would definitely recommend Tom to anyone else. (p.s- I'm still working towards those rims Tom). I live in Pennsylvania and spent weeks searching for the best price on a new Ford vehicle. After some time I came across the Koons Web site and was surprised to see their low "WOW" pricing. At first, I thought it was too good to be true. Since the dealership was over two hours away, I didn't want to make the trip until I could get more information. I reviewed their vast on-line inventory and identified the vehicle I liked. I decided to send an email and within a short time, I received a response from Dennis Koulatsos. After a few exchanges, he provided a firm "out-the-door" price that was far superior to anything I was able to arrange locally. I was then assisted by Tom Snyder in working out the details of the transaction. Yesterday, we made the journey to Baltimore to make the purchase. We checked out the vehicle and met the people. They were friendly and it was apparent that the entire operation was a well-oiled machine. Eventually, we met with Carol Walker of financing and the final number was identical, to the penny, of the incredible quote previously received by Mr. Koulatsos. We have purchased many vehicles over the years and this was the best experience yet. We highly recommend them to anyone!

They really went above and beyond to provide me with exceptional service.I was delayed getting to the dealership one evening because of a massive thunderstorm. Not just one, but all three of the sales representatives stayed after hours to help me complete my purchase.I really appreciate that consideration since the dealership is some distance from my home.They also gave me a great price on a model and trim that is very much in demand. After that the finance manager gave me a good deal on an extended care package. I have purchased a 2013 Explorer Limited from Koons Ford. The experience so far has been great. My salesperson Ray Baldwin was attentive to all my needs during my new car search. He provided me timely information and made my test drive seemless which sealed the deal for me to purchase the Explorer. I had a 2005 Acura MDX and decided to give Ford a try and so far am pleased with the product. I came with a unique problem. I was purchasing a new Ford Focus for a religious community of men whose headquarters (corporate) is in Pittsburgh, PA with a Maryland Tax Exempt Status. I found that both Tom Synder and Dave Miller went out of their way to address our particular concerns and requirements. This was new territory for them but they were patient, understanding, and very easy to work with. I found a car that I liked, that met our pricing restrictions, and they were able to make it happen smoothly. I would go back to this dealership again. I had gone to Koons Ford about 18 months ago and did not have a good experience. I was looking for a new car and when I entered my zip code it refered me to Koons I was however trying to reach Apple Ford in Columbia Md. Matt happen to call me before I had the oppurtunity to contact Apple. He was so professinal and polite I decided to give Koons another try. I am very glad I did. I went there during my lunch break, was immediately greeted by Mr. Farajii Muhammad who answered all questions and went to work on what was a exploratory visit. Another note worthy of comment-Instead of holding me captive to get a sell, Mr. Muhammad was very much aware of my time constraint and set me up with an appt. for a second visit. I was very skeptical about the "WOW" price advertisements, but when the online sales rep sent me the price I really did say, WOW!When I went the next day to test drive and purchase the vehicle, I was met at the door and was quickly helped. My sales rep Matt was accommodating and very knowledgeable about the features of the car and we had a pleasant conversation while on the test drive.The Finance guy was excellent. He was able to explain the value of some of the add-on services and there was no high pressure maneuvering on his part. I even learned why dealerships still use 25 year old dot-matrix printers.From step one to driving away Koons Ford Baltimore exceed all my expectations and made this my first pleasant car buying experience.

There are always a lot of choices when you are considering where to purchase your vehicle. I came into the search not really sure of whether I wanted to purchase a new vehicle or not. My experience with Ray helped my make my decision (I purchased). Ray is a very personable person but professional as well. This was a no hassle process and everything on the final contract was as verbally discussed. I have dealt with dealers that will say anything to get you into the door and then throw a curve at the end. This was not that type of dealer, thats why they got the sale.

Drove 200+ miles to purchase a 2012 Boss 302. Had great and persistant contact with salesman (matt stoudt.) Was kindly greeted upon entering the dealership. Facility was clean and professional. I want to relate to all readers about my last experience to Koons Ford 2 days ago. My experience with Koons Ford was nothing but exceptional. My first contact via email before I buy a car is always to Dennis Koulatsos. He suggested coming down to see what he can do for me, meanwhile you need to know that I live in Bel Air so it is a hike. But I went because of Dennis. He introduced me to his sales associate Fariggi? (sorry about the about spelling). This gentleman was very knowledgeable and patient in showing me both new and used cars. BUT there are 2 things that I am not telling you, the second of which is the most important.1. I too have purchased many cars for myself and family through Dennis. His character, courtesy and demeanor is what always brings me back to him. Let me repeat that, to him, not necessarily the dealership he is at. I still remember the first car I bought from him when he was at Jerrys 25+ years ago. He has grown and moved on to different dealers who presented better opportunities from Al Packer to Heritage to his final place here at Koons where he will retire from because he has a personal stake in this dealership! 2. The last 2 cars I purchased were Hondas. Dennis has always been associated with American made cars. Even though he knows that lately I have been leaning toward Hondas, his professionalism did not deter him from working with me. So let me tell you what he has does. He goes out to different Auction Houses and retrieves late model used Hondas which he brings to his dealership with NO OBLIGATION on my part. I like what he gets I buy if not I dont again with no obligation. This is what makes him exceptional.

I received a quick response from the General Manger Dennis Koulatsos on the availability and price of the car I wanted. He was pleasant, honest, and extremely professional throughout the entire process. The professionalism and friendly atmosphere did not stop there! When I arrived at the dealership, I was happy to find they were so busy. I felt it would be a great opportunity to check out the cars without feeling the pressure of a salesperson. As it turned out, they weren't too busy for the General Manager, to personally assist me and I'm glad! Even though I truly wanted to just look, I had questions about the differences in crossovers and SUVs, as well as the possibility of going with another sedan. Dennis was so patient and knowledgeable, I couldn't have asked for a better shopping experience. I can't tell you how comfortable it was, getting the information I needed, without feeling pressured. I knew before shopping at Koon's that I wanted an American car. Now I know that I definitely want a Ford, (either an Edge or a Taurus) and I also know, I'll be buying it at Koons's Ford.

I do not have a Google or Yelp account, so I m emailing you about the excellent service I received at Koons Ford on Friday, February 17, 2012 from Chuck Rest. I arrived at 7:30 a.m. for my 30,000 mile check and waited for my Escape to be serviced. Chuck Rest was my service advisor and he was very professional. He listened to what I needed to have done to my Escape and answered all my questions about my warranty and maintenance plan agreement that I purchased when I bought my Escape in 2008. He made sure the mechanic helped me connect my new cell phone to Sync, he printed the paperwork and showed me the warranty time-span and maintenance plan on my Escape and reviewed everything with me. Chuck made sure that the mechanic was aware the tape type material that was loose from the defroster vents was securely re-installed under the vents and per my request, he made sure the mechanic used synthetic oil. Over all, Mr. Rest was extremely courteous. Theres not too many businesses nowadays that make you feel like youre a special customer and with Mr. Rests professionalism and courteous manner, I felt very special.I intend to keep my Ford Escape for quite a while, but when my Ford needs to be serviced or in the future, I need a new SUV,I will certainly come back to Koons Ford.Very respectfully, Margaret R. Hello, A few days ago, I sent an email and a survey complaining about the unsatisfactory work and professionalism from staff at Koon's Ford in Baltimore located on Security Blvd. After submitting that email, I went back to the dealer and the manager was more than helpful to rectify the situation and complete the work that was performed unsatisfactory on my taxi cab. NOTE: After leaving the dealership for the second time, I had to pay another company to get my meter to work again like it was working before I got to the dealership. Buying a new car is typically a long agonizing process. You have to deal with finding the right car, pricing negotiations, and financing. My dealings with Koons Ford made my car buying experience much more enjoyable and stress free. My first inquiry with Koons was via email. I communicated to Koons the type of vehicle I was looking for including color and options. Philo Gentles (sales consultant) promptly sent me pricing and Desiree Taylor followed up via phone in a very courteous manner. Philo diligently worked with me to narrow down the exact vehicle I was interested in. I was able to work very easily with Philo on pricing as well. I had another dealer offer me a lower price and Philo beat that price by $50.00. The other dealership also had very poor dealer ratings on dealerrater.com. I verbally committed to Philo that I would purchase my vehicle through Koons Ford of Baltimore and went to the dealership that afternoon to fill out the paper work. The car I purchased had to be delivered the next day to the Koons lot. Upon pickup of the vehicle the next day, I noticed there were a few minor scratches. The General Manager (Dennis Koulatsos) told me he would correct these issues. In my discussions with Dennis, you could tell his philosophy is to make customers for life. He is not in the business to sell you one car at the highest profit margin he can make. He wants the buying experience to be enjoyable so customers will recommend his dealership and to get repeat business from customers like me. Lastly, I am the type of person who rarely fills out customer reviews. However, I felt that Koons Ford went out of their way to help me out during my buying process, that I should return the favor to them. I highly recommend Koons Ford.

On 8/10/11 we negotiated and they made an offer to buy a car and trade in a car on a Wednesday. We did not take the offer that night as the car was not yet in and they had no 2012 fiestas to test drive, and we preferred to see and drive the car first. We explained this apprehension to Russell, the sales manager. They did say that the offer on the trade in was good for that day only. Tom did tell us that the price on the car was still good and to "keep your AAA car buying service certificate" for when we come back. He asked if we could come quickly when the car arrived since the fiestas are selling very fast. The car came in the next day and we tried to make an appointment to come in and buy it. We were ignored on Thursday (phone and e-mail). Late Friday we received an email from Dennis, explaining that the offer was off the table and we could pay full MSRP ($700 more than negotiated). He also informed us that our trade in was now $300 less. He stated that they removed themselves from the AAA buying service and would no longer honor the certificate (one day later). They seem to not want to sell us this car and according to their website, they still had it in stock for a couple weeks after. I have bought 3 cars from koons dealers in the past and had good experiences. In the end we ordered the exact car we wanted elsewhere for the same price and got more for our trade in.

I have purchased two cars from Koons over the past year. A 2011 Shelby GT500 and 2012 Focus Titanium. I have received nothing but first class treatment during both purchases. Normally you hear about games that large dealers play but not at Koons. They worked with me on making the deal work with the price I wanted to pay. Gave me excellent value for my trade. My Focus had a few issues being a first year model and so far they've addressed everyone without issue. I just purchased my new Fiesta from Koons, and I could not have been happier with the experience. My initial dealings with Koons were done entirely through email. I first corresponded with Dennis Koulatsos. After explaining to Dennis that I was working within a tight budget, he explained that it would be difficult to find a new car on the lot within my price range because of add-ons through the various packages. However, I could order a car through Ford with only the features I wanted. Dennis gave me a very comprehensive cost breakdown of my new car, including taxes titles and fees. When I decided to order my car through Koons, Dennis placed the order without me having to put a deposit down. What I found most refreshing about the process was how upfront Dennis was with the pricing. What he said I would pay was what I paid - there were no hidden fees or last minute surprises. Dennis and Sam kept me updated throughout the process of my car being built. My Fiesta came in this past weekend and I love it! I would defintely recommend Koon Ford Baltimore to my friends and family. I initially started looking at the Fusion, which Felix assisted me with a test drive and some intial numbers. I soon decided that the Taurus was a better fit for my needs and again met Felix for a test drive. I would recommend this dealership because the customer service is excellent. My husband and I came in to trade in a car. We were upside down in our current vehicle and were offered several options and advice on the best way to correct the situation and end up in the car we wanted. Our sales rep, Felix, was very friendly and extremely helpful. The finance manager, Mike, was very professional and helpful. From the minute I stepped onto the lot, I did not feel pressured or hassled by Larry (my number 1 peeve from the other dealerships I visited). I took the time to rate this employee because he was nothing but honest with me. I could have received a lesser price in Virginia, but the dealer in Virginia misrepresented himself. Mr. Thacker tried to match the price, but when he couldn't he told that he couldn't and that he would understand if I went to the other dealer. He told me that he would like to have my business and I believed that his customer service after the sale was worth the cost. Going to the finance office afterward was smoothe and easy and I received a follow up call a week after the sale to check my satisfaction level. Good customer service does still exist.

I was in the market for new Mustang. Researching different dealer inventories, I found one that I liked on the Koons website. I inquired on a Sunday, when the dealer was closed, but Desiree responded to let me know that she would send me a quote on Monday. Monday morning came, and the quote I got was very respectable. Definitely fell in line with the research I had done. Unfortunately, it turned out that the car was sold over the weekend. Immediately, Sam was in touch to try and help me find another model.We labored, back and forth for a couple weeks trying to find the 'right one'. We definitely had our ups and downs, but Sam's effort and communication was top notch. I came to respect the time he was putting in to make sure I got what I wanted. Just when it was starting to look like we couldn't find something and may have to go through the custom order route, Sam suggested the Boss 302 or Shelby. I hadn't seriously considered them, but was willing to look. They sent me the specs on a Shelby they had in stock. That's when Sam put me in touch with Jimmy, who is in charge of finance. Jimmy came back with a reasonable arrangement that didn't have me hesitate for a minute.Keep in mind, up to this point, I had not visited the dealer yet. All interactions had been online. Which worked perfectly for my schedule.Finally the time came to head down to the dealer and sign the paperwork and get the car. I live a couple hours away. When I arrived, everyone at the dealership made me feel like a King, and there were constantly sales people and customers outside just looking at my new purchase. It made me feel great.Met Jimmy, the deal was exactly as we discussed, got the car cleaned up and I was out in no time. Really, it was the best and easiest car buying experience I've had, and I won't hesitate to recommend or use them again.

From Uncertain to Certain:From the first contact with the dealership, I was very impressed. Ms. Taylor's professionalism, attitude and her willingness and ability to answer my questions was the first step of my great car buying experience at Koons. I am a firm believer, the first contact of a business will either bring you clients/customers or deter them. I have purchased many cars and I don't recall being so at ease with the process. When I walked through the door, Ms. Taylor greeted me with a smile. Ray Baldwin, my sales consultant, a soft spoken and well mannered guy was right there. He introduced himself. I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but I continued to be impressed after talking with him. We talked as though we had known each other for years. Not only did Ray listened, he heard and understood what I wanted. He explained the process step by step, answering any other questions that I had. I felt really comfort with him and the sincerity of what he was saying. Not like previous experiences, where I had some reservations about the truthfulness of what the sales person was dishing out.I must say, everyone was so so friendly, it was unbelieveable, everyone spoke to me. That brings me to Jimmy Lowry, the finance director. Extremely nice guy, I think he spoke to me everytime he saw me,inquiring if I needed anything, making sure I was comfortable. Even though he walked at swift pace, he acknowledge me everytime he saw me. While I think I had a special case, the Koons Team worked it out in my favor. I had butterflies about the whole thing, but in the end, I did not have to settle for a vechile that I did not want or like. I drove off the lot with a smile on face the size of Texas, I could not believe it was possible. The saying "We're Gonna Wow Ya", they did. There was no intimidation and no shell games. I would recommend Koons of Baltimore to anyone that is in market for a new car, and a great experience. Mr. Koons should be proud of the team at this dealership. They over delivered!!!!! We bought a new Ford Explorer and love it! This was by far the best car buying experience my husband and I have had! Tom Snyder was professional, knowledgeable, No-Pressure, and honest. (yes, I never thought I would say that about a car salesman) He even let us know that a rebate we were after was $500 more than what we thought it was. He worked hard to get us the exact model we wanted and quickly. I awlays hate going to dealerships because I don't like being pressured to buy and it happens every time - this was the first time I felt I could relax. Jimmy Lowery was also very friendly and professional when we did all of our final paperwork. He let us know about the extended warranty's but never pushed us to buy them. I had an excellent experience with Koon's Ford Baltimore--in particular with Tom Snyder, the only person I had any real contact with. I live and work in Philadelphia and made contact with the Baltimore dealer over the phone about a car I saw on the website. Tom was extremely friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable with the purchase. He personally took additional interior pictures of the vehicle for me and even gave me his personal cell number to call if I couldnt reach him at the dealer. The customer service he showed me was amazing. I agreed to the purchase without even seeing or driving the car. Tom personally picked me up from the Amtrak train station in the new vehicle and completed the paperwork with me. Everything was explained clearly with no surprises. I bought the Ford Fusion 2012 and it has exceeded my expectations. Once my income goes higher, I plan to return to the same dealer again in a few years and see Tom to upgrade to the newest model. Enjoyed working with everyone. i did not feel pressured, I felt my concerns were listened to and that everyone tried to please me with my goals and needs to complete this sale. I honestly came to look, i had done my homework on the car i wanted. i know I could have bought the same day and drive a car home but realistically did not expect to. past experiences with other dealerships and manufacturers have been a lot of haggling and pressure, even in dealerships that advertise "no haggle" prices.thanks tom, jimmy and russell for the start of my ford relationship, since this is the first time buying from you as well as buying a ford.

I purchased a used vehicle and instantly regretted my decision the very next day. I am very pleased with how my sales consultant, the sales manager and the Finance Director worked as a cohesive team to go above and beyong; making sure I was satisfied. Four days from my original purchase date, I was able to exhange my "old" car and drive away in my "new" used car that I absolutely love. I would definitely recommend these guys, especially to those who have had credit challenges and are looking for a dealership that will give you a fair chance to rebuild your credit worthiness. I recently bought two cars within one month, each from different dealerships. Koons Baltimore Ford and Ray Baldwin were hands-down the best to deal with. It was a no pressure sale with nothing but help and advice offered at every step. I felt the deal was fair, and the car (a Fusion hybrid) is superb. My other new car is an import, bought for good reasons, yet overall the Ford is more impressive and by far more user-friendly. On top of that, I've been getting nearly 50 mpg on the highway! When I got a small chip on the door, the dealership mailed me a paint repair kit at no charge - they also sent my plates to me since I live nearly an hour away. Ray is without question the most customer friendly sales person I have dealt with. I definitely recommend Koons of Baltimore, the Fusion hybrid and Ray Baldwin.

The customer service from Tom Snyder was better than past experiences at 5 other dealerships. Jim Lowry knows the process and made it simple. Tom Miller and Ken Dillon in service understand that regardless of the issue, its important to the customer and their tact works.Very good service and its rare to be present across an organization with the consistency that Koons has been able to achieve. The GM must be pretty good.

We were treated very honestly from start to finish. [A few months ago, at a DIFFERENT dealer (not a Ford dealer) we repeatedly asked for an "out-the door" price. But when we were signing the papers, a new number was given to us, and we walked out.] At Koons, though, Sam was completely transparent in his dealing with us. Derek was outstanding. I went into the dealership just to look at the WV Beetle. I ended up very happily trading in a Honda Civic and purchasing a VW Beetle that was pristine and that had been checked out mechanically.I was treated very courteously. I called to inquire about a specific type of vehicle. Tom appeared very knowledgable and courteous over the phone - no pressure. As I was shopping with my daughter for a vehicle for her via the internet, we were pretty knowlegeable ourselves and had actually planned to visit several dealerships, and we informed Tom of this.Needles to say because of the overall atmosphere and abience of the dealership, the professionalism of Tom and the wonderful experience with Steve, the F&I manager. Koons Ford of Baltimore was our first and last stop. Additionally, I'd planned to finance the vehicle with my credit union, but ended up using the financing that Steve had offered.This was one on my most pleasant automobile buying experiences. My experience with this salesperson was excellent. He never turned his back on me and he got back to you when he said he would. He explained anything in detail and he was just plain friendly and very cordial. I would reccomend him to anyone I knew who was in the market for a car purchase. I must tell you that the entire dealership was professional. This should be the model dealership for all Ford Dealers. Everyone went over and above to please me even salespersons who did not wait on me. From calling on the phone to Jim in the fianance office to Pete who I called back the next day just to ask how somehthing worked on my new Explorer. They were willing to go out of their way to assist me. I have never had an experience such as the one I had at Koons on Security Blvd. You should be proud of all those employees in that dealership because they have it going on. Curtis and the Jim in the fiance department made this sale way too easy I felt like something was wrong it went so smooth. I am a Branch Manager at MECU one of Baltimore Credit Union and I am a people person and I recognize great service and this dealership should be commended by some high official on the excellent customer service skills they display and I have been there a few times and it it always the same. Please give these folks from the receptionist desk to fiance a great hand they surly deserve a great word and some high commendations!!!! Curtis Conaway was extremely helpful in locating a vehicle that had the interior and exterior colors and all the options we wanted. We've never had a car salesman work that hard for us. He was very polite, professional, knowledgeable and responsive. He was not at all pushy like some salespeople elsewhere can be. The man that did the final paper work with us was also very professional and did a great job for us. The vehicle was very well detailed for us. Although Koons Ford of Baltimore is not the closest Ford dealer to us, the next time we want to buy a car, we're going to Koons and Curtis Conaway first!

Philo Gentles was VERY patient and did his best to assure us that we fully understood the ins and outs of the complexities of a new car purchase, giving us the best possible vector of purchase. Then after the sale he spent an atypical amount of time assuring the wife was proficient in the cockpit ;)I now see why my father had purchased several cars from Koons Ford in years past - I only wish I had his insight and common sense. Worked back and forth for a while with the dealer on my trade and a new vehicle. When it looked like we would not be able to make the deal due to a difference in price, Alona Holland reminded me of the rebate on tax for my trade in, which more than brought the deal together. Working with Ray Baldwin (Sales) was a pleasure, the customer services team (especially Alona) made it a great experience also, she really looked after me. When I went to the dealer and into the finance office Jimmy was great, really friendly and helpful. He ensured I understood everything that was going on and every itemized charge (almost to a fault). I would suggest them to anyone, and will go back there first the next time I'm looking for another truck.

I went in looking for a fiesta my budget was relatively tight and i did not think that i would foind anything resonably price. I went tto multiple dealerships before visiting koons. I had searched their online inventory and found a car i loved and just wanted to drive it for fun and to see what it was like. After driving the car and loving it Tom Snyder (my sales rep) gave me aprice that was fair and better than any other dealership i had visited. Afterbwe went forward their was no pressure to make the sale and Jimmy Lowry in the finance dept. worked to get me a great rate even though my credit was not exceptional. I LOVE my new 2011 fusion it is everything i could have hoped for at a great price. Overall everyone at the dealership was professional and a pleasure to deal with it will be the first place i go when buying my next vehicle and i will be excited to recommend them to my friends and family. We were given Baltimore Koons Ford as a certified dealer through AAA. Sam contacted us the very next day. Through a number of emails Sam was able to get a handle on what type of truck we were looking for. Living an hour and a half away in another state this was very helpful. Sam was very patient as I changed my mind on several things about the truck. After looking at numerous window stickers that Sam sent me and making daily phone calls, we picked out the perfect truck. The experience at the dealership was well worth the hour and a half drive. Finally getting to meet Sam face to face was very rewarding. The associates at Koons were very friendly and professional. They helped move along the closing process concidering it was a busy Saturday evening. Sam stayed after hours to show us how everything in the truck worked. Koons works very hard towards their 5 star rating and they deserve it.

I always dread going into a dealership and being turned away, or frowned upon due to my credit score or price range. I tend to be a harder person to deal with as I always nit pick every little thing. I currently purchased a fairly new but used vehicle from Koons Ford Baltimore. Overall Koons Ford was a clean, well organized place and everyone seemed to be friendly and focused on serving the customer. Dan Coy assisted me in every way possible from getting my application processed quickly, to finding a better vehicle than I thought I could get, to making my payments affordable, to making sure I was 100% happy with everything. He was in contact with me quickly upon putting in my online application, he was extremely friendly to my fiance and I, never judged our situation and did everything to get us into our car. Furthermore he had a great attitude the entire time I said well this has a scratch n it better be extremely clean and don't forget to do this and that. Although I was buying used I expected a newer car well in my eyes, and he went above and beyond pleasing my demands. I not only am 150% happy with my vehicle and the payment, but I also enjoyed my car buying experience and no longer dread speaking with salesman. I definetly will be doing my future car purchases through him as well as sending future business his way. I hope everyone buying a car gets the pleasure of dealing with Dan.

From the moment I walked into the dealership, the reception staff as well as all the employes in the showroom exhibited a true friendliness and camaraderie with each other. I knew if they treated each other this way, I was in for a smooth process. I was right. This team is well oiled and knows how to keep the customer happy. It's not about cold drinks, coffee or donuts...it's about treating people with respect, honesty and listening to the customer.I had a wonderful experience here. There is a closer dealer to my home in Owings Mills, and I tried to give them my business, but the arrogance and inflexibility of that dealer pointed me right to Koons - and I will never look elsewhere when buying a Ford again!

Was shopping around many Ford dealers in the Baltimore/Washington Area for a New Ford Focus. I got the least run-around and game playing from Koons. Visited Apple Ford but had (yet another) poor shopping experience with Apple (Bait & switch, pushy/Arrogant salesperson and sales manager, lied about rebates and price). Went to Koons afterwards and Raymond was very curteous and relaxed throughout the negotiating process. Bought the car soon after getting some great rebates. A few months later, was replacing another car and shopped around a few different Ford dealers. Again, Koons was the most helpful. Other dealers were curteous also, however Nick Constantine at Koons was the only Salesperson who followed up with me after my initial visit and was not at all pushy. I traded a vehicle in and even recieved a loaner for a few days while my car was being Prepped. Hit Koons of Baltimore if your in the market, I am not sure of other Koons

However, this has been the best experience that I have had purchasing any vechicle! I got rid of my troublesome van and I am now driving a great SUV! I am thrilled with the experience I had buying a 2011 Ford Fiesta from Koons Ford Baltimore. I first called Koons Ford Baltimore on Saturday, April 30 2011 during a difficult search for a base model 2011 Ford Fiesta. Dennis Koulatsos, the GM, spoke with me and personally conducted a search for the vehicle I was looking for. That evening, even though Koons had a very busy end-of-month sales day, Mr. Koulatsos called me back and told me that he would be able to sell me a slightly higher spec'd Ford Fiesta for a very low price, and offered me an excellent value for my trade in. I didn't know it, but Koons Ford Baltimore was closed the following day (Sunday May 1), but Mr. Koulatsos opened the dealership that day just so I could come in and purchase my car! Pete Dixon, the salesman who I worked with, was friendly, courteous, and very low-pressure. He made the car-buying process fun, relaxed and enjoyable. And, it was great to be able to sit in all the awesome cars in the showroom with no one else there! They got my paperwork done and out the door within 2 hours. Mr. Koulatsos really went out of his way to get me a great deal on the car I wanted, and worked it out so that I would be able to drive home that day in my new Ford Fiesta, even though my bank (which provided my financing) was closed that day. I had the best car-buying experience I've ever had at Koons Ford Baltimore, and I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone else there or to buy another vehicle from them in the future. Some people are afraid to buy a new car or truck, Im an old hand at this but there was a time for me that it was a difficult process. No matter how you feel about this I can tell you your troubles are over. One of the lessons I learned early in my career is that everyone needs to make money, including care salesman...now Im sure they made a profit on my truck but for the life of me I'm not sure how. They gave me the best deal in Baltimore and it was such a pleasant experience it actually surprised me. The staff treated me like family, they gave me every break they could and even honored a corp. coupon from Ford late in the process. I absolutely love my new truck and these folks are the best. WOW for someone who "will take care of you" this has yet to be proven. three months and no follow up for my radio which I was promised. Car in for service not getting a warm and fuzzy feeling about that either. 7:00 am for a check engine light on a 4 month old car. Also asked for oil change while I was there, really not needed though. Called at 3:30 to check status...finishing up on oil change hav't diagnosed the check engine light yet. I have worked with many dealers / service managers but I can finally say i have found the best. Tom Miller knew what he was talking about and really cared. he made sure any problems I had were fixed right the first time. I will return to this service department because of him.

Purchased a used 2010 Camaro on 5/7. Buying experience was straightforward and painless. Received a very good trade-in value and the vehicle was competitively priced. Have previously purchased new vehicles from Koons. This was the first used vehicle from Koons. Would recommend Cartez and Koons group for car buying needs.

My fiance and I were looking to trade in my 2008 Toyota Camry for a fuel efficient, cheap AMERICAN MADE vehicle. I had looked online and received the WOW price via email. When I got to the dealership Nick approached us and it began! He immediately took us outside to look at a few different Fiestas and asked what I was looking for. I was completely blunt and told him exactly what a dealer DOES NOT want to hear..."cheap and good gas mileage." He asked if we wanted automatic or manual. I answered "I can drive stick shift." He then responded "Can I ask why manual?" and again I answered, "because its cheaper." Nick was awesome. He was completely fine with it. He gave us the keys to a couple Fiestas and my fiance and I took it for a ride. When we returned we chatted about my trade-in. It wasn't what I wanted but he was very willing to negotiate and get me an extra $500 -- excellent! It was a done deal! We had such a great experience with Nick, Dennis the GM and Alona. They were friendly, fun, outgoing, and sincere! They had the exact car I wanted, the process was smooth and FAST, VERY FAST! We were in and out in 2 and a half hours! Amazing! I think they might have converted my Chevy guy into a Ford guy :-) We are definitely going to be repeat customers!

I bought my 2011 Ford Fusion in December from Keith O'Connor and that was the most incredibly easy and pleasant car buying experience I've ever had. My car was due for its first visit to the service dept for an oil change and 5k mile check up. I was somewhat hesitant as I know how service depts at dealerships can be. I contacted Keith first to set everything up, make the appt, and to arrange a loaner car. I was quite pleasantly surprised. All the gentlemen in the service dept were friendly and my car was completed in a timely manner. I highly recommend the service dept and staff. Koons has been wonderful!!!!!!!! Thank you.

I have had my car in this service department several times and it's always done on time. When they give an estimate that's the price, there are never any surprises. They are always very pleasant to deal with and treat you like family. As a woman it can be a little overwhelming kto get your car service and the make me comfortable and put me at ease. I have no problem recommending this service department to family and friends.

After spending many trips back and forth to the service department with my failing GMC Yukon XL, I knew I needed to buy a new car where the dealership would stand behind it's product. We have bought many work trucks from Koon's Ford and knew their service department was great. So we looked into an SUV that could fit the family. I hadn't driven a Ford (except for a pick-up) in a long time. Dennis Koulatsos knew I was apprehensive and sent me home in an Expedition for the weekend. I was sold! Rick Crouch made sure I foudn the exact color and extras I wanted. I never thought I would have an SUV I loved and save $10,000 compared to GMC and Chevrelot!! Plus, I know I will be taken care of by a service department run with integrity. I'm sold on Ford now and recommend Koons of Baltimore to everyone.

I decided to go out of my way to get my car serviced in the Baltimore branch and it has been a great decision. The staff is well qualified and the service Manager. Tom Miller, has reestablished my belief in great customer service. He continuously makes himself available for any questions I might have and has always kept a level of professionalism as well as friendliness. I will continue going to them as long as I am able.

I purchased a car and was so happy with the outcome that when my car was in a small accident I wanted to back to them and have them fix it. I live about 35 minutes away from the dealership but the extra drive was well worth it. See Kevin Roy or Keith O'Conner, I doubt you will be disappointed.

I sent the comments below right after I purchased my 2010 Ford Fusion in December 2010. Since my purchase I have continued to have contact with Keith O'Connor for customer service. He has been exceptional!Comments sent to Hal Feder, Jr in January 2011:If there were a higher rating other than "Great" Koons Ford "has it all" !!! It was, by far, the best experience I have ever had in purchasing a new vehicle! Everything was upfront. Absolutely no salesman pressure (which I hate)! This dealership was great when it came to servicing my Expedition. The service writer knew what to ask and made sure that I was advised of everything before the service was initiated. When they found a need to address another issue on my vehicle, the service provider made sure I was informed before any additional service was initiated. The prices were very competitive! I would strongly recommend the service and body department to anyone, since I have used both. In fact I have taken verhicles that were not Fords to their body shop and found their work to be impecable. In my humble opinion, you won't go wrong using Koon's Ford of Baltimore for any type of auto repair.Addtionally, I purchased my Expedition at this dealership and the purchasing experience was second to none. The price was right and the sales people, and in particular the General Manager did not play games and told me up front was the bottom line price. This price too was very competitive.

My salesmen was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I have never bought a new car before where the salesman knew more than I did. The only thing better than that was the fact that I was in and out in less than an hour. The combined effort of speed and expertise made me feel more than comfortable in spending as much money as I did on a new truck. Thankfully Ford is making high quality trucks now like they always have, even back when my grandfather bought them. I had actually called before I went up there, and my salesperson sounded great on the phone that it was actually a real pleasure to get there and find he was exactly who he says he was and he never played any games with me. overall just a great place to buy from. my wife has her eye on a new edge and I don't plan on even shopping around for one......just going to go right back to koons on security.
