I have been taking my 2006 Sebring to Koons Chrysler in Tysons for many years now, for the reason that they always do an excellent job the first time, do it on schedule, have reasonable prices, and a very pleasant and knowledgeble staff. My car is as good as new thanks to the service I get from them. I plan to keep my car for many more years, and will continue using Koons Chrysler

I recently purchased a used 2015 Jeep Cherokee. In the weeks following the purchase, a rattle related to the sunroof developed. I brought it to the nearest Jeep dealership and was informed that the repair would be covered under warranty.I left the car for them to work on for a 7:45 appointment. I hadn't heard back from them by 3PM. I called for a status and was told that the mechanic would need additional time to work on the issue. I agreed to let them have the car for another day. Again, around 3:00 I called the dealership because I wanted to know the status of the repair. I was told there was a known issue with the sunroof and that a tool needed to be ordered in order to repair the issue. I elected to pick the car up the next day (Saturday) rather than go the weekend without a car, then I would return the car for service when the tool was delivered.When I picked the car up, there was a new scratch on the rear door of the vehicle. The service staff member present took a picture of it and a picture of my service department paperwork with an R.O. number she would need to address the issue of the scratch. She promised to buff out the damage and get me a loaner vehicle for my inconvenience.I arrived for the repair to be performed the following Thursday after making that appointment. The service team member asked what part I had been waiting for. I told him that I thought it was a tool that had to be ordered, but the details should be on the account notes. I also indicated that I wanted the scratch to be dealt with and for the promised loaner to be provided also. He told me that there were no notes about any other issues with the car. He texted the service member who had been working on Saturday, and when she did not reply right away, he told me that she would not be in until after 10, so I would have to rent a car on my own.The attitude of the Kelvin was not very accommodating. I had a better interaction with the technician who had checked the car in and taken my car keys than I did with him. When I walked into the office of the service department, he was too busy rubbing his face, trying to wake up, to even acknowledge my presence in the office.The failure of the service department to read about known issues with a rattle on this sunroof prior to letting it sit for two days on their lot also showed me a lack of concern for any inconvenience placed on me. Having to place my car in their possession for an extra day, then an additional day, seemed like business as usual for them.Third, I am concerned about the lack of care they took with my car receiving a scratch on the rear door. Certainly accidents happen. The litmus test for a service department is how they address the problem and how they take care of the customer after the accident has occurred.I hope they do a better job addressing the issues with my car than they have taking care of their customer-service responsibilities.

Great service, we would highly recommend working with Koons for the purchase of your Jeep or other car.A little bit of background -- we knew what we wanted in terms of make, color, etc., and had the right Jeep shipped from the factory to Koons for pick up. Throughout the whole process, we were very pleased with the quality of service, attention to detail, and especially with accommodating our schedule since we were driving 2 hours from out of town to pick up the Jeep.We worked with Craig, who was very helpful and knowledgable throughout the process. On the day of purchase, he was clear, quick, and efficient with handling the title, insurance, and financing steps. In addition to the nuts and bolts, Craig clearly explained and helped us to get acquainted with all of the features of the Jeep, adding in a touch of fun along the way. We're excited to be new Jeep owners! The purchase was smooth and convenient, and we would highly recommend considering Koons for your next car purchase!

Greg was the 3rd service technician that I spoke to at Koons Jeep. He was great and did what is called Excellent Customer services. Greg said that they can take care of my problem right away, and sure enough, 25 minutes later my Jeep had DEF refilled and ready to go. My previous service request attempts were met with resistance and unwillingness to accommodate my request, even though it only takes 15 minutes to fill up the DEF tank. If you need GREAT service at this dealership, definitely ask for GREG!!!

The price was right and was paired with excellent service. My salesman, Craig Benner, promised to have the car ready when I got there the day I was picking it up. As I pulled on the lot, there it was all shined up and ready to go. Sales manager Erica Ramsey, came over to introduce herself and make sure everything was satisfactory. But, we also had a chat about cars in general. Jeeps, I believe, are more than a job to her. They are in her blood.Of course I that had to take the dreaded trip down the hall to the finance people. No reason to dread that at Koons. Andy and Liz took care of money and getting my new Summit titled and registered. They each went over the necessary paper work with me so I knew the purpose of each form. While there was obvious efficiency, the atmosphere was friendly and not rushed.Overall an A+

I should preface this review with the statement that I did not purchase a car from Koons Tyson's this time. My leased Jeep Grand Cherokee was originated through their sales team, though. Unfortunately, we could not get to a price that I was comfortable with on a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT.Nonetheless, my experience with Carlton Calloway was excellent. Carlton was accessible by phone, email, and text - and always responded very quickly. When I walked in, I asked for someone with knowledge of the SRT, and Carlton really knew his details. I'd be happy to work with Carlton again in the future if the opportunity presents itself.

I only dealt with the administration side of the house, accounts receivable to be specific, as I tried to cancel an extended service plan which was unethically sold to me at a different dealer. After being helped by one of the finance mangers in filling out the required form, I communicated via email with Ms. Ayoub who is responsible for said cancellations. She described the process from A to Z, assured me to keep me in the loop, and followed through. If everyone at this dealer is as proficient as she is I'd definitely recommend anyone to bring their business there.

I got to the dealership around 19:43 on a Labor's day. i wanted to buy a car for my sister and already had stock number that we were looking. we call dealership and answering service told us they were working till 21:00. So, we got there hoping to buy a car and met with sales guy closing sales deal.I went inside and spoke with Tom Ames who was acting sales manager and explained to him why we were there. Mr. Ames didn't seem to be interested in selling anything to us , in fact he yelled around hall to see if there was anybody interested to help. Everybody was standing around chating while we stood inside and outside dealership for one hour. We left around 20:50 and was very disappointed with the way they treated us. I thought a manager should step in to the game and start to help us while sales guy is getting done instead of sitting and ignoring us.

I puchased my Certified Pre-Owned 2011 Dodge Ram from Koons Tysons Corner a little over a year ago, and have brought it back for service a few times. DO NOT use Chuck Freeman. The first time, I took it in for maintenance and annual inspection. Maintentance was fine, but he didn't inspect it, and then *didn't tell me* that he had failed to inspect it. When I noticed and asked, Chuck told me the inspector was out, and to bring the truck back the following day, which I did. The inspector was still out, and I got a ticket for an expired inspection on the way home. Thanks. Last week, I took the Ram in for a routine tire patch for a slow leak in the front passenger tire. Again, Chuck Freeman was the mechanic who worked on it. Picked up the truck the next day, drove to an appointment in Middleburg. As soon as I got on Route 66, I noticed that the alignment was WAY off -- the whole car was shaking. The alignment had been 100% fine when I dropped the truck off. I called Koons after becoming increasingly alarmed as the shaking got steadily worse, and it felt like the tire itself was swaying back and forth. I spoke with Julio Mendez, who told me that the tire probably needed air. (Really?!) Kept driving to my appointment, which I couldn't miss, the shaking got WAY worse, and the car started making a loud banging noise every time the tire rotated. It felt like the tire was going to literally FALL off the truck, and the banging was deafening, so I pulled over at my brother's house in Aldie, as the truck was no longer safe to drive. Called the dealership, who said that they'd never heard of anything like this, which is absurd. A quick Google search returns many results, with similar instances resulting in the tire falling off and placing lives in danger. I'm incredibly lucky the tire didn't come off on Route 66 -- it could have resulted in extensive damage to the truck and the axle, and placed my life in danger. Greg Welch has the truck now, it was towed back to the dealership last week. Still waiting for an update, as of 29 August 2016.

I must say I normally only write a review when I have a bad experience but because of the overall OUTSTANDING experience at Koons in Tysons, I had to acknowledge and give credit to the wonderful team at Koons Tyson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram . It all started a week ago when I was looking for a car for my daughter who is a college student. My 4 things that I was looking for in a car that is was under 90k miles, less than 5 years and under $9000 due to my budget as a single parent and of course payments under $200 since this was my daughters first car. These days it is hard to find a car that meet all 4 requirements for the price especially. I had previously been to 3 other well-known dealerships in the area and for whatever reason, we had bad experience at all 3, whether it was the customer service, trying to use the bait and switch tactics or just not in my price range. I was at the point I was ready to give up and go to MD to look for a car. But I decided to try Koons Tysons Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram because they has a 2012 Dodge Avenger for $8688 (originally priced AT $11,488), 70K miles. Wow it matched my requirements! I waited a couple of days and told Jason I would come back once I discuss with my daughter. He said ok and called me twice to follow up and not every single day like most car salesman do hounding you to buy a car. After the 3rd day of still trying to contemplate if I was going to get the car, I went back on the website and now the car had been reduced by another $300 and was listed for now $8388! I figure this must be a sign to go get the car. My daughter and I went this past Saturday to go look at the car. Jason was busy helping other customers so to minimize the wait time, he let his coworker Shane assist us. Shane let us test drive the car and my daughter immediately fell in love with the car. There was some minor areas that need touch up paint and a wheel alignment, but Shane assured us to come back and make an appointment with the service dept. and they will take care of it. Because of the long wait (which is typical in any dealership), Shane even offered to get us something to eat. Between him and Jason keeping us humored while we wait they ensured us this was a great deal we were getting. I would definitely recommend Shane and Jason as one of two salesman that I have dealt with that don't come off pushy but make the customer feel comfortable in the buying experience. Kudos to Shane Lee and Jason Gingras! Now my previous review talked about my SALES experience so I would like to share the FINANCE experience. After we had confirmed with Shane the down payment and length of term, we had to wait for someone from finance to go over the paperwork which took over an hour waiting on someone. Andy Phung graciously agreed to stay over past closing and assist my daughter and me with terms and conditions. Because this was my daughters first major purchase we were declined by the banks but Koons in house finance approved us with 17% for 60 months. Interest rate a little high but what do you expect when you have little to no credit. Andy was very thorough and explained each paperwork that my daughter had to sign. He even went out his way after noticing that we wasnt given a car fax report to print one out for us to review and acknowledge which I was impressed by. Original monthly payment was $188 but after Andy added the 5 year warranty, it jumped to $238. Now my initial thought was I dont want the warranty since this is over our budget. I was willing to decline and look for warranty elsewhere just to keep the payment I wanted. Andy could sense the hesitation from us and must have saw the look on my face that I was not planning on going over $200. He explain to us the benefits of getting the warranty as an additional layer of protection that will benefit us in the long run. He was even willing to reduce it a little just to get the price down to $231 for us. After about 10 minutes of contemplating, we went ahead and agreed to take it with the mindset of having to pay $231. The WOW internet price of the car was $8388 and was originally listed on the lot as $11,488. Signed the paperwork and left with my daughter driving in style. Jason was still there after closing to make sure we were happy with everything. WELL NEXT DAY, we received a text from Andy stating he had great news for us. Tre Hillerich (Sales Manager) said there was a bank (JPMC) that came back and approved us for a lower rate!!! We went from 17% to 11% and the new payment was $193 which included the Warranty and GAP coverage! Tre or Andy didnt have to call us and tell us anything but they knew based on my conversation the night before and what I was looking for as a payment. Oh what a blessing! It is things like this that make you want to write a review to let others know there are good reputable dealerships out there who look out for the best interest of the customer. Ive had several cars and by far this has been the best experience Ive had with any dealership. In fact, I am planning to trade my own car with them and after discussing my options and looking at my current payoff with Tre he has already assured me that when I am ready to trade in they can beat what I am currently paying. Went dealership to purchase used vehicle. Salesman Billy W. was awesome! Very professional and poised. However, manager Kurt was the bottom of the barrel BAD. It was 100 degrees outdoors, a long steamy day and we had been in the dealership well over one hour. We needed to quickly go get food for our children and explained that. The manager was asked to allow us to leave a substantial deposit and to return to close the deal after all paperwork was completed and we were fed. The manager absolutely refused! He also declined to even come speak to us in person...wow.

I was very disappointed with this dealership. I went their to by my first car and left with an awful offer on the table. The salesman and management were unable to negotiate the price AT ALL, and simply told me that no other dealership would be able to make a deal. What a LIE! I went the next day to Ourisman Jeep in Alexandria, and bought myself a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara for the price they were trying to get me to buy a Sport S for! Arrogant is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Do NOT go here unless you want to pay $3k-$4k more than you should.

Their "7 Day Exchange" policy on used vehicles is not as they say. We bought a two door lifted 2015 Rubicon on Sunday 7/17 an hour before closing. We were told we had 7 days to make sure this was the right vehicle for our 16 son. After several days we decided this "lifted Rubicon with 35 inch tires" was not the safest vehicle for our son. We called on Saturday July 23 which in our eyes was the 6th day considering we bought it an hour before closing the prior Sunday and assumed the first exchange day was Monday the 18th (not the one hour on the evening of the 17th when we bought it). In the name of safety for our son we decided we wanted to exchange the two door lifted Rubicon for a four door non lifted Sahara with OEM tires which we were willing to spend about $2000 more for a safer vehicle for a new driver. We were shocked to find out the day we settled (which was after closing hours) was considered the first day. Our salesman Billy Weimar was great and we don't blame him. It was the used car manager that Billy spoke to when we called on Saturday the 23rd that decided in his eyes we missed our exchange period by one day (even though his first day was when we signed the papers after business hours). To summise, in our eyes, Koons Automotive Group did not honor their "7 Day Exchange Policy" and will no longer be a viable option for our future vehicles. It's obvious to us that the safety of a 16 year old new driver is not as important as the technicality of one day. Once you lose our trust you lose our business. That also includes the servicing of our Mercedes GL550 and Mercedes E63 AMG at the Catonsville MD Koons dealership. I hope that their "one hour" decision was worth the loss of future business as well as referrals to our family and friends. To bad because we loved Koons Catonsville in Maryland.

My husband and I went to purchase a car on Sunday and had the best time. I am not your typical car fanatic, for the most part Im not really into cars at all. My father, his father before him, and my brother are super gearheads but Im in the tech field. However, when I was a kid my uncle had a 67 Challenger and to me that was the greatest thing Id ever seen on wheels. From the moment Dodge reintroduced the new Challenger I knew I wanted one one day.I make decent money, but as a young single dad I didnt make the best decisions credit wise years ago. Over a year ago I financed a car with a sub-prime loan in order to establish good credit in hopes of one day purchasing the car I want. I went to a Dodge dealership in January to finally test drive and possibly buy a Challenger but at the time my credit wasnt where it needed to be and though I was due for a jump in pay from my job, it hadnt come through yet. Although I was a little discouraged I kind of knew that going in but wanted to gauge where I was and map out what needed to be done. This was at Musselmans Dodge in Baltimore, I have no issues with them theyre very upfront and a great dealership to work with. Fast forward to this month, I visit another Dodge dealership after a bump in pay and some work on my credit. I was approved for a Dodge Challenger SXT at a great price and they gave me a great deal on my trade as well. While I was super excited, my optimal car is the SXT Plus. They didnt have any on that lot so while negotiating I came across one at the Koons Dodge dealership in Vienna, VA for the exact same price as the one at the dealership I was working with. I put that deal on hold for a couple days so I could research Koons a bit.I went to the Koons website to chat online with a salesman. I told the salesman from the beginning that I had another offer but their car was the same price, I asked would it be possible to move the approval over to Koons in hope of getting the car I want. I also explained to him that I was still working on my credit so I was leery of having my name shopped to a bunch of banks, he told me that as long as I got a car within 30 days that multiple checks on my credit wouldnt affect my score. Finally, I explained to him that their dealership was over an hour from where I lived, I did not want to make the drive unless we were absolutely sure I was approved for financing. Again, Im a single dad, Id most likely be headed there from work and Id have to make arrangements for that evening drive so that my son would be taken care of. The salesman had me fill out their credit app online and provide all information. He then both called and text my phone and told me that I was approved! This was great news I was finally getting the car of my dreams and getting from under a car that I did not want. The next day, the salesman called me to confirm I was coming in. I again asked him was I approved and was told I was, all I needed to do was bring in my trade. I told him again how far I was traveling, how excited I was, that I did not have any room for a lot of gimmicks, and what I was offering to put down (which was also on the credit app). The salesman told me I was good to go and to come down that day. What is usually a little over an hour drive was over a 90 minute drive as I drove through the first big thunderstorm of the summer in our area, now this isnt a storm designed to enhance my story this was an actual storm where parts of the highway were flooded and cars were on the shoulder. I normally wouldnt have made the trip in this weather but I wanted to get my Challenger as soon as possible. I arrived at the dealership and the car was pulled up for me. I took it for a test drive and it was everything I imagined it to be and I was ready to close the deal. We pull up to the dealership and I turn to the salesman and say So Im approved and all set to go, right? and he replied Yeah well, we got your approved on the price of the car we just have to run the numbers through the bank and take a look at your trade. At that point I sensed a bit of dread and anger but I decided to remain positive. Surely he wouldnt have me drive 90 minutes in a storm just to bait and switch me. While we were back in the dealership, they had other potential buyers looking through the car I was in the process of buying. This really bothered me but what could I say? I didnt have the keys yet.I owe about $11,600 on my car at the time of sending this letter. Again, it was a subprime loan with 19% APR designed to get some positive credit going. The car itself is a Honda Accord and while its not in phenomenal shape, the previous dealership I worked with offered to pay off the loan without me carrying any negative equity over. Koons offered me $1500 for my trade-in. Carrying over $10,000 to the new loan putting the final price of the car at around $38K. I drove 90 minutes for this car in a storm, I want this car. As I stated previously, Im not a car fanatic and this being my dream car, Id probably have it until the wheels literally fell off and I had to upgrade. I worked out the scenario in my head, the monthly payment was projected to be high but I could afford it. I could refinance in a year and even begin to pay off the car in lump sums. So I asked to proceed on the deal. The salesman then told me great, Im going to get this over to the finance manager and well run your credit through the banks and see what we can do. At this point Im angry, I didnt project my anger but from the internet, to the phone, to the test drive Ive been told that my credit was approved and the financing was a done deal. I explained not wanting to be run through a bunch of banks. Ive been reassured at every turn that I was good to go I just needed to arrive and yet here we are in the 4th quarter after Ive talked myself into purchasing this car that now youre running my information through the banks? Ok, I tell myself, Ive gotten this far and Im sure they wouldnt lie about me being approved. Maybe this is a formality and Ill be all set after we confirm my information. An hour of waiting later, the salesman introduces me to the finance manager. The finance manager tells me that with my negative equity along with my credit that I would need a cosigner or more than half down on the car. Other than that theyd have to sell me a car $20K less. I tell him none of that is possible and he sends me on my way.Why, why, WHY would you have someone lay out all their information to you beforehand. Tell you how long the drive is, provide all of their credit information only to have them come down and you lie to them? A car that was $20K less? But you originally tell me that Im approved for a car that was priced at $25K? Lets do the math with this. The final price of the car with taxes and titling wouldve been $38K. 11K of which was my trade-in after appraisal. So you wanted to put me in a car valued at 18K, but really 7K because 11 would be negative equity from my trade? So the truth of the matter is I was never approved for the car at 25K like I was originally told and why I took the drive in the first place. I was lied to and sucked into a salesman game. And at the end of the day, I could do nothing but stew as my I made the 90 minute drive home as the storm made its way north and I drove through the flashes of its remnants. I am about 98% sure that this letter means nothing to the people who make these cars, nor to the people that sell them. I told my brother yesterday on the way home that dealerships do things like this all the time. I just wanted to place in my words how frustrating this makes the consumer feel. I dont understand the point in playing games with a customer. If I apply and give you all the necessary information, tell me from there hey youre not approved or theres nothing we can do (Musselmans did this perfectly!). Dont think for a second that Id get wide-eyed after 10 hours at work, a 90 minute drive, and minimal sleep and start begging nonexistent people to cosign. And if I had 20K to put down Id be negotiating to buy the car outright! In closing, if youre reading this, Im just sharing my frustration. Im no longer enamored with the idea of owning a Challenger. The games played by your dealers have left the worst taste in my mouth. Id rather drive my car with my terrible loan than deal with someone whos whole idea is deception.

My Chevy Blazer blew up and I needed an SUV immediately. I live in Baltimore and talked to every single Jeep dealership from north Maryland to Rockville. Most were the fast talking horror stories you hear about. There were a few that were fairly straight, but they were in the gross minority. Enter Bill Lacey at Koons. In one 15 minute phone call Bill had me where I wanted to go. I did stretch higher than I initially wanted to pay, but I did so with full knowledge of the products and in the end I feel I got tremendous value and the exact vehicle that I wanted. Bill is as good as it gets. Former military--as straight and transparent as anyone I've ever worked with--he really gives you respect and wants his clients get the right thing for them.

I talked to the sales person the day before I went to the dealership so they knew that I was coming the next day. When I got there to test drive the vehicle it had a flat tire and there were scratches alongside the vehicle that were not in the pictures that I saw online. However this one experience will not discourage me from going back.

The purchase of my Jeep Grand Cherokee was easy and quick. That is the good part. After that point the rest of the Koons experience was lacking and left me completely frustrated to where I got rid of my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee just so I didn't have to deal with the horrible service any longer from the service department.Every time I took my vehicle in for Service it was returned with Grease marks on the Drivers side door threshold and lower door panel. Even though I mentioned it never changed.I had multiple visits where they never diagnosed the problems but wanted to try things to see if that would fix the issue. So I guess the repair by replacing instead of trouble shooting the root cause.I am still awaiting a phone call from the Service Manager Barbara Fisk which I was promised.You spend over $40K for a vehicle and you would think they would care a little bit.This will be my last car I ever purchase from a Koons Dealership and definitely the last Chrysler product.

I never write reviews, but my experience with Koons CDJR has raised the bar in my expectations in a dealership and the buying experience. The process took nearly two months and we had to overcome my being nearly 7 thousand miles away working via email and phone. At any time in this process my sales manager, Erica Ramsey, could have not returned my calls or emails and said it wasn't worth it to work through the obstacles. Needless to say she and Jason Gingras stuck with the process and helped me become the proud owner of a 2015 Grand Cherokee High Altitude in bright white at a great price. The story doesn't end there. Not only did Jason pick me up from the airport 8 hours after my flight was supposed to get in, they also consipred with my family to have my sister surprise me at the dealer when I arrived on military leave at 10pm. Erica was there as well and made the experience very special, including taking off an additional $1k off the deal. There was no way I could receive this level of service and remain silent. They have also gone above and beyond with my uncle and his purchase of an F-150 at an area Koons Ford dealership. Of the area CDJR dealers, and believe me I've shopped them numerous times, Koons is a top-notch organization that puts exceptional customer service at the heart of what they do. I highly recommend considering Koons for your new car purchase or service.

I have been looking for a Dodge Durango and thought I had located the perfect car at Koons Dodge. They gave me a valuation of $32k on my 2014 E350 which was $7k below current Kelly's Blue book but explained that if I came in they would work something out. I thought ok, let' do it so I went, after doing the necessary research on the internet I came across their CURRENT advertising promotion which is that Koons will give you KBB Fair value up to 125%. The sales person did not tell me about the promotion in advance which was disappointing but nevertheless I decided to go in today. I needed them to get to $36k to make the deal work - which was below there promotion threshold. Well guess what! the promotion is a complete scam!!! After the sales lady did the normal nonsense of "going to see her manager" to review the offer, the "manager" (who probably would have difficulty in spelling the word manager) came over and stated that if they were to give me the promotion deal (and offer $36k) then they would not be able to discount the Dodge and have to sell it at MSRP - some $7k more than the selling price. Despite having no small print whatsoever stating this I asked why not and the "manager" said sorry but that's their deal terms. It's a real shame that a huge outfit like Koons resorts to under-hand gutter sales techniques but I guess somebody has to pay for the WOW adverts. Be warned, this deal is a scam so do not waste your time.

So Yesterday was the day i got to drive 3 hours from New Jersey to Koons. After dealing with Erica Ramsey (Koons Jeep Garage Manager) for a few weeks as she was so patient with me as i love to make myself crazy looking over things and thinking about things too much. I finally called on Saturday and made the deal official. So first when you show up the dealership is huge. They have Stock like you wouldn't believe. I walk in to meet Erica for the first time. They have my Jeep sitting outside all cleaned and ready to Roll. She introduces me to Justin Sutherland (Salesman) this awesome salesman who even though he doesnt own a Jeep Wrangler this dude knows the Jeep like he did. While i was working with Justin, Rob Kraus (Finance Guy) was working on my financing. I made this dude work hard to get me the best rate which he did. This review isnt anything that they asked me to do but i wanted to do as usually most people including me say buying a car should be so much fun but its usually a major Pain in the *** but with Jeep Garage and Koons this is the most enjoyable purchase i ever made and even my wife who hates car shopping cant wait to look for a Koons group deal for herself (she doesnt drive a Jeep) I am telling everyone that asks and even who dont that if they are looking for a Jeep or any car these are the people to use. Koons really Rocks!!! I am the type who will rave when things are like they should be or above expectations. I will also rip you to shreads when you screw me over as i wrote a horrible -* review on my last Jeep dealership. Erica, Justin & Rob you guys ROCK

Only one guy knows where the parts are - I don't know who that might be.... really about a sad of a post purchase experience as i can imagine .... 100% buyer remorse ... I cant comment on the entire dealership but I found a few idiots during my purchase. First the salesman Jeff Hever is a total moron. After finalizing everything over the phone (because I live over 5 hours away) I arrived to pick up the car to find it full of scratches, trim parts hanging, a broken tail light and a key fob that didnt work. Plus the moron didnt know that the car came with remote start! He avoided me when I found the problems and didnt even offer any accommodations for my family (except for the small coffee area) during the 6 hours we had to wait. Also the Finance Dept with Jimmy Collier and James Sicuro operates like a time share seminar. They push things down your throat to profit off purchases you dont need or can get better deals elsewhere. The sales manager Tre Hillerich was a savior and saved me from more headaches and Connie Pulliam corrected all the mistakes and horror that the jerks in the finance dept did. What also annoys me is the fact that I wrote 3 letters to management complaining about my experience and not one contacted me back to apologize or explain what went wrong. I can only say avoid Mr. Hever if you can and do all your research before you sit down in the Finance Dept. because they will attack like sharks to get you to sign. If anyone at Koons wants to contact me to explain this further, you can ask Jeff Hever who purchased the 2015 black Camaro from PA.

The initial deal went good with Justin Sutherland and everything was clear. Unfortunately when I went to finish the deal, he was not there and they tried to change 2 things. the vehicle model because they claimed that financing was only for 2015 model and the price (just increased it by $200). I had the last e-mail offer from Justin and insisted on what I agreed on. Everything went smooth and I got what we agreed on plus a service contract for planned maintenance and mechanical parts for 8 years. In general, most of the people there are friendly, nice and helpful. I am still waiting for the maintenance contracts details documents to be sent by e-mail from Mr. Phung. Regardless of what happened, I am happy with the experience.

We had been shopping for months at dealers in Delaware where we live.I visited the Koons Jeep website. When I saw the WOW price I was sceptical. I started an online chat with Bill Lacey. We then spoke on the phone and after speaking with Bill, I became more comfortable that this was the real deal. Happy to say that 2 days before Christmas we picked up our beautiful Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. Our local dealers had 2 or 3 in their inventory and Koons had over 50! We got just what we wanted at a great price.

I got a Chevy Malibu in March this year. Harris was determined to get a sale out of me even after my set price of what I could work with. I was told that the "wow price" was non-negotiable. Since I was in between two dealers Harris promised that he would include 2 years of oil-change and tire rotations as an incentive if we went with them for the sale. After 3 1/2 hours of negotiating, cruel jokes, and slight irritation from Harris (it was 9:30pm) I was sick of the whole process and bought the car. Harris jokingly offered to buy us some Mc Donald's as if he had accomplished something great. Since this was my first car buying experience, I sought to be diligent in reading my contract but I didn't know how to read a automobile contract. Thats a weak point that they targeted.Not even a month later, the automatic locks on my car stopped working, the battery died (which they said went through their koons inspection), there's a leak in the sun roof that seeps into the tan cloth interior, the traction light comes on, and a few other things.Thank God for my father who assisted me with the purchase --we fought for some of the repairs that Koons obviously did because they were quick fixes and because they did a lousy job in inspection. But...I guess they got tired of putting work into a car that should have passed the inspection that they so claim they perform on new-used cars. I remember calling Harris back about the oil change and tire rotation and wanting to get it done to my car. Not looking to spend anything. He somehow says that he doesn't remember talking about it! And since he didn't put it on the contract and I didn't make sure that he did because I was relying on his word, I lost on that end. Obviously, this is a commissioned based business where customers are lured in by the pleasant personality, sales-man charm, and sweet as honey offers. But, all of that goes out the window once that contract is signed. Word of advise, make sure EVERY offer and promise is written down on that contract. Don't be afraid to walk away. Make sure you have food and water to drink because wisdom and common sense gets distorted when you're body is in need of food/water. You have the power to say NO. Sales is a emotional driven career so everything is used to be a tactic to get you to make haste decisions.

He showed us soooo many jeeps for soooo many hours, HOWEVER, we settled on a Grand Cherokee Laredo with the leather options package. The features inside were very great and very nice. The garmin GPS was really helpful to my wife Maria. Yes this car was very great.It was such a great vehicle with soooo many options and sooo many features, HOWEVER, we paid sooo little dollars. I never realized buying a car could be such a simple, efficient process.This was my first time buying a Jeep Wrangler so naturally I had lots and lots of questions about the multitude of different models and options. Luckily, I had Harris to help me out. Harris has a very deep knowledge of every last detail there is to know about Jeep Wranglers from the inner workings of the car's mechanics to the complex array of external offerings. He knows his product lines and was able to quickly bring a VW gal up to speed on Jeeps. He articulated the differences between the models, put us in several so we could experience the differences, was patient with me as I insisted that I wanted features that he knew I probably didn't really want (bye bye manual transmission! I don't miss you), and then ultimately was accommodating and searched far and wide to find the perfect-for-me Baja Yellow jeep (even though yellow has poor resale ;-)). The service department has the worst customer service. I brought my car in for four new tires. When I drove off, I discovered one of the tires was not put on correctly causing the valve to leak air the entire time. When I brought that back to get it fixed, they didn't rebalance the tires causing the car the shake violently, causing thing radio monitor to break, resulting in 2,000 in damages. Now Koons is MIA.

I had a great car buying experience at Koons in Tyson's Corner. Harris stayed late until 9pm on a Friday and then showed up at 8am the next day to help me find the exact vehicle I wanted. I ended up trading in my old car and buying a new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 Limited. Harris went the extra mile to make sure it had the right features and the buying process went smoothly. The rest of the Koons staff was equally helpful. And the Koons price was several thousand dollars off MSRP, which made it a great deal. In a world where "used car salesman" is an insult, Harris Durrani will help restore your faith in humanity. He took lots of time showing me the car I found on their website - explained the features and pointed out a few things I should watch out for on that particular model. He did everything humanly possible to make sure I was getting the right car for me. And pressure? Non-existent. When I told him I wanted to make an offer, he walked me through the purchase process, and even stayed after the dealership closed to ensure the finance department took care of me. The only thing I think could be improved is reducing the amount of time it takes from the decision to purchase to the completion of the sale. That said, Koons of Tysons Corner (and Harris) will be my first stop next time I'm in the market for a car or truck. Highly recommend!

The most open, honest, and straightforward car-buying experience ever! Was in touch with a few Jeep dealerships while shopping for my Jeep Patriot, but the Koons Tysons online WOW pricing plus the email responsiveness of Harris (Durrani) while discussing questions - AND PRICING! - was just a "breath of fresh air" when it comes to car shopping! I really had no intention of "buying" the Patriot in August, but Harris was so easy to work with, responsive, and quick to clarify IN WRITING any Qs about the vehicle, and all the confusion with rebates, financing, etc. in writing, that he made it too easy for me, and too hard to pass up! I arrived at the dealership at 3:30pm, met Harris, learned about and test-drove the Patriot, bought the car for the exact price discussed via email, no haggling, no arguing, then drove away with a full tank of gas, paperwork done, and spotless car, exactly 3 hours later! W O W! I cannot commend Koons, and especially Harris, for his willingness to work via email to work out the details - which made my only visit to the dealership very efficient. KUDOS to a dealership that REALLY sticks to it's word - AND - it's posted, online prices!! Please be sure to ask for HARRIS if you plan to purchase at Koons! He is THE BEST!

Leased a 2015 Jeep GrandC in March 2015. Everything went good but the numbers do change from dept to dept as additional offers were provided. If you dont know what you plan to get it will confuse and make your buying/leasing experience uncomfortable. Ask specific questions and obtain the actual documents at time of signing. For example if you buy warranty or protection from MOPAR ask for copy and read through it before signing. Make sure you also ask how much it will cost exactly. I purchased MOPAR vehicle protection which I then decided to cancel after a month once i saw the details and I personally could do better by asking more and reading details. I also had a little challenge to get the cancellation process going but after a month or so I finally did get assistance from Finance team...so on that note thanks.

I emailed the dealership about a 2014 certified used jeep cherokee and within an hour I received a call back from Eddie J. I called back and made an appointment to meet with him later in the afternoon for a test drive and review the vehicle. When I arrived he had the keys waiting for the test drive. Eddie J. was very thorough in going over all details of the vehicle. I made him aware upfront of a strict price range I wanted and could afford. Not only was it with his help but his fellow sales manager and sales team that I was able to walk out of the dealership with a new set of keys and put wheels to the pavement. Eddie was a great asset to me in the purchase of my jeep last evening (7/13/2015). Very patient, polite and professional. Andy in Finance also helped in lowering my payment to what I could afford. Buying a new car regardless can be a stressful experience but I felt very comfortable in my decision purchasing my jeep from Koons Jeep dealership in Vienna, Va.

Recently bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit after much research and comparison with other SUVs and dealerships. Straight up advertising with "WOW" pricing is hard to beat. Even better if you have an honest a knowledgeable sales rep like Bill Lacey. He knows the Jeep brand and his demo of the capabilities was very thorough. Bill explained the different Grand Cherokee models; different financing options and effects of difference financing options on the WOW price. Worked hard to get me better offer on my trade-in. Recommend Koons, and Bill Lacey in particular, if you are looking for a no-pressure, straight forward Jeep purchase.

My wife and I drove all the way from Virginia Beach to view cars in northern Virginia due to the prices being so much better there than home, and we are very glad we did. Got a great used Acura in excellent condition, low miles, and the best price I could find anywhere. The alignment was a little off but Koons took care of everything, really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. be very careful when buying cars from them. I bought a brand new 2015 Dodge Challenger on June 12, when I went outside to look the car over I noticed it had two dents. It took them 3 days to fix my car and bring it to me. On the June 18 the car shutdown on me while I was driving, I could have been killed. Apparently there was recalls on this brand new car that they didn't fix. I had to wait in a hot car with my client for 5 hours for someone to come and pick up the car up. The only person who said that they was sorry for what happened to me was the salesman Zach who was very good to me. They put me in contact with Thomas Higgens who was the sales manager. It has been more than a week and the car is still not fixed. I was driving one of the dealership cars, Thomas the sales manager told me I had to come back and get my trade in car because the part for the new car would not be there for 2-4 weeks and he couldn't have me putting miles on the dealership car for 2-4 weeks. Thomas screwed me out of my deal, he told me I had to back out of the deal even though I didnt want to, he told me that If I still wanted the car when it was fixed there is no guarantee that the deal would be the same. When I asked to deal with someone above him no one ever called me back

Proud to be John's first sale and he definitely worked for it! After a month of searching for the right color/configuration/price, my husband was a tough customer but John and Phil worked with us and got us the best deal in more than a 200 mile radius. We had a lot of false starts with TrueCar dealers in the area (a lot of added hidden fees and costs) so when we arrived back at Koons I expected a lot of upsells and hidden fees as well. Not a single one. John had the car ready, we signed the papers that were waiting based on our negotiated price, and drove home! Our salesperson, Victor Arkilic, provided excellent service. He was very knowledgeable, came with us on numerous test drives, and even came in to the dealership on his day off when we called to see if we could test a few others. He was patient and helpful but not pushy, which we appreciated, as it let us think through our options and choose the right vehicle. The dealership has a nice selection of cars and presents them well. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to negotiate the price down a bit, which I was told is not done, but overall, I'm very happy with the vehicle and with the service I received.

Just called this place to make a fair offer on a used vehicle, sales person said they are like CARMAX and their used car prices are set. No bueno... Never been to a used car dealer in all my life that wouldn't negotiate even just a little . It doesn't seem right... My offer was more that fair at $17900k against their $18300k. I talked to Harris on the phone after I saw the good deals Koons offered on their websites. He talked me through everything over the phone and he found some cars that fit my price range. We went to Koons later that same day and Harris found me my dream car, a 2015 Jeep Wangler Unlimited. He gave me a great price and a couple of hours later we were out the door. My Jeep Grande Cherokee had a few recalls and other service work so I scheduled an appointment for a few weeks out with Koons to get it resolved. When I made the appointment, I specifically told them the two recalls I had, that my windshield wiper nozzle had broken and the leather on my dash came loose. When I went for my appointment and spoke with the service person, they informed me the parts for the recall weren't available so I couldn't get that fixed. They said they'd have the service manager look at the dash and they'd fix the nozzle. After 30 minutes of waiting, they said the nozzle was fixed. The service person said the service manager said that I must have done something to mess up the dash and it wouldn't be covered. That was disappointing but at least I got my nozzle fixed.I got home that night and the windshield wiper fluid light came on. I popped the hood and the nozzle was still broken! They had just pushed it back together even though the plastic had broken apart. The story keeps going but it ended well. I spoke with Chrysler and they showed no records of the service manager ever even looking at my dash. I wound up going to another dealer and had everything taken care of without a problem. I would never use Koons for service and doubt I'd even consider them for a new car purchase. Easily the worst experience I've ever had.

However, it was a pleasant surprise when I recently purchased a 2015 Chrysler S from Harris Durrani at Koon's Tysons last week in January. Harris took time to explain all the features of the car, even lifted the hood to show me the motor. After the test drive, we sat down and he got the price I wanted and I put down a refundable deposit to hold the car until It was delivered the next week. I stopped by the lot to look at the 2015 Dodge Challengers and had the pleasure of meeting Harris, who was able to quickly pinpoint the model I was looking for and take it for a spin. He had an informative answer for every question I had and was able to demonstrate all the features of R/T Plus model I was interested in. koons did not want to move on price for a used truck or move on price for our trade what so ever, but with that being said they did have the best price around for the truck we were looking at and also gave us a fair value for our trade and we walked away not feeling ran over or abused. I would like to start by saying that one star is giving way too much credit for the poor experience we had at Koons Jeep Tysons Corner. On August 29, 2014 my husband purchased a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. Fast forward to November 3, 2014, my husband received a phone call from one of the sales managers stating that the vehicle we took delivery of was not the same vehicle with the VIN number that was on our finance paperwork, our insurance, Fairfax County department of taxation as well as the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. The DMV registration had the VIN number of another vehicle that was sold in another state which meant our tags were registered to another vehicle but physically on the vehicle we were driving. Also the Virginia State Inspection Sticker had the incorrect VIN number handwritten on the actual sticker that was on the windshield, meaning that the Virginia State inspector did not physically check the VIN number on the Jeep we took delivery of. If he was to check the VIN on the jeep he was inspecting, this mess could have been caught the day it was inspected. When my husband informed me of the phone call I called the manager back and in his nonchalant fashion he explained to me that "this type of thing happens all the time". He informed me that it was not a big deal and dismissed the situation as if I was making a bigger deal than it actually was. I explained to him that I drove the vehicle on a daily basis and if by chance I was to be pulled over by the police and had a registration that did not match the VIN to the vehicle I was driving that could have meant big trouble for me. The fact I have a 2 year old with me in the car all the time could have posed another risk for me if I was pulled over. The managers response was to quote him exactly "who cares, if you get a ticket Koons Jeep will pay it". My mind was boggled by this statement knowing myself and my child could have been put at risk. The manager also informed me that "people make mistakes" and he "was sure I made some mistakes in my life". I chose to discontinue my conversation and the next day called the dealership and asked them to transfer me or give me the phone number for the Koons Corporate Offices. I was transferred to the voice mail of an Administrative Assistant to one of the Executives and after I left a lengthy voice message, my phone call was never returned. A couple days later I received a phone call from our salesman who sold us this mess and was told that they would provide us a rental car through a local rental car agency at absolutely NO EXPENSE to us and all I had to do was provide them my drivers license information and that was it. A representative picked my son and I up and once we got there they wanted a credit card number in case there was damage to the car. I declined the rental car and informed Koons that once again they inconvenienced me and my family since the Jeep we have is our only vehicle. After being frustrated and needing some type of assistance because this dealership was getting us nowhere with getting this problem fixed I contacted Chrysler Corporation to file a complaint against this dealership. Needless to say it has been a process with these people as well and now more than 2 months after the fact, I received a call yesterday 1/12/2015 stating that the Department of Motor Vehicles acknowledged the correction of our VIN number so it matches the jeep we originally took delivery of. Even though the registration is being corrected it has taken an abundance of my time dealing with my car insurance, county tax office as well as our finance company making sure everything matches. I am absolutely disappointed in the employees of this dealership and the upper level management because this could have been avoided if people actually took their jobs seriously and not do things half way just to get a car sold. I would never purchase another vehicle from Koons Tysons Jeep and hope no one experiences this!

I bought a Cherokee from Harris Durrani in September. He is a good salesman, and a great liar. I used my 2008 Acura as a trade in and planned on putting 1/3 of that to the down payment and taking 2/3 in a check to myself. I did not have the physical title to the acura, and repeatedly made sure that it would not be a problem. Mr. Durrani assured me it would be okay, he said "We (Koons) have an entire department that deals with tags and titles... It's their job to get get the title for you"When signing the "I owe you" form, I pointed to the line that said I owe them the title and again asked "You getting this requires no action on my end, right". Harris, once again, assured me it was alright.He lied.Koons still owes me $10000 for my trade in. I have been fighting with the DMV to get the title, but it is no longer in my name because Koons sold it already (WITHOUT paying me yet). They refuse to pay me until they get a title to a vehicle that is owned by a third person now.I feel as if Koons Jeep robbed me. It has been 3 months, and I just got a refund check for "Tag and Title" for $200. When I called to inquire what it was for, I was sent to voicemail. I still have temporary tags on the new Jeep (for 3 months).Hopefully, since they do not respond to voicemails or emails, somebody will respond to this public forum.I suggest avoiding this dealership and every department in it.

There was never any questions about what the range of the price would be and it was easy to come the table prepared and convinced that my deal was very fair for me and them. I have contacted the dealership service department and no one would help me. I was told the dealership would fix this issue, but I can not get the assistance I was promised. Unfortunately I was in the middle of an 8 month process with Chrysler Corporate Group attempting to replace a defective Jeep. The Chrysler Corporate Manufacture Customer Service Group failed one almost every category but eventually agreed to replace the Jeep. Tom Ames, sales manager, was efficient, did what he said he would do, corrected mistakes make by the Chrysler Manufacturing Group, and most importantly communicated regularly on the status of this process. I just can't say enough about how Tom Ames made this happen with as little confusion as possible. I would buy car from Tom anytime. He's fair and gets things done while all the time keeping the customer informed.

Normally I dread the car purchasing process. Past experiences felt like i failed to get what I wanted, or I paid too much. For my recent purchase of a new Cherokee Limited, I could not have been more satisfied. The pricing was transparent and bested area competitors. Bill Lacey showed me the model months before my purchase, applied no overt pressure, helped me compare my options at the convenience of my schedule, and expedited the purchase when I was finally satisfied with my decision. No problems with the car itself. If the service is anything like the sales department, then there is simply no need to go elsewhere. We searched all over our home town near Reading, PA for a 2014 base model jeep patriot to stay within our budget. And I guess because we were trying to stay within our means there were no dealers in our area willing to help us locate the vehicle we wanted. It was so frustrating. We came across Koon's through Cars.com and although it was in the D.C. Metropolitan area our thoughts were if they can work with us we'll make a day trip out of it. They were FANTASTIC! Not only did they locate our car, but they seemed determined to work within our budget rather then try to sell us something we didn't want. Don and James were great guys very patient in spite of our little ones being holy terrors that day. And when we got back home oddly enough some of those other dealers were still trying to call us saying how they were still working on locating our vehicle LOL. What can I say about my sales person. I have visited many dealerships while looking for a vehicle I liked but most of all was comfortable with. Many sales person just told me what I wanted to hear just to get a sale which I can say I didn't buy anyway neither did I buy their vehicle but upon meeting with Harris D from Koons jeep in Tyson corner, I realized this was not only a professional sales person but one who listened to my needs in a vehicle and also what I desired. He took me to a few vehicles based on my needs and wants and told me exactly what the vehicle had he cost and basically he was was not trying to make a sale just truly wanted me to have a vehicle I was comfortable with. I can truly say I bought a vehicle that day without fanfare and he things I need addressed to him that needed to taken care of on the vehicle he made sure it was taken care of. Unfortunately a very unsatisfying experience. First off I cam explicitly for one vehicle and when I arrived was told it had already been sold. The sales person did not provide any sort of positive positioning and even ignored my 20 yr old daughter when first introduced, and last but not least is the vehicle had less than an 1/8th of a tank of fuel, so the first thing I had to do was fill'er up. I knew it was going to be a bad experience, i waded through it and ended up with a pretty nice used Jeep. You can't go wrong with Trail rated :)

Awful service. Car still has problems, I lease 2 Jeeps from them, if I had know they are so bad I would have never gone there. They forget to call you when car is ready. Spent over $2,000 on my jeep problems still exist. Oil change took 5 days because they forgot about my car, I called everyday to remind them finally they took care of it, I still PAID. My last name is Tahbaz. I will gladly leave it here in hopes someone at that service department will see, changes are needed.

I know I'm not an easy customer when it comes to buying a car, but the team at Koons was so helpful, willing to work with me, and gave me what I wanted! I've had negative experiences at other dealers in the area and usually there is at least one person in the process that rubs you the wrong way. This was honestly the best experience I have ever had. I worked with Harris Durrani last weekend to purchase a Jeep Wrangler. I went to the dealership anticipating to just look around and see what they had, but after working with Harris I knew I would be leaving with a new car that day. He was very diligent and listened to all of my wants and needs and didn't waste my time showing me something that didn't fit those needs. At the same time he didn't take me directly to the highest priced Jeep Wrangler and tried to force me into that he truly too the time to explain to me the difference between the types of Wranglers and put me into the best fit for me. He was very knowledgeable of the product and explained everything in detail as a customer would understand. I would truly recommend that anyone looking to purchase a new car should work with Harris, he made the buying process stress-free and enjoyable.

Went in looking for a used car with cash on hand. After several test drives, I was ready to make a deal. Apparently this dealership does not negotiate their "WOW" internet price. Sales person didn't even give me a chance to make an offer. Unless your at CARMAX there is no such thing as non negotiable. Went to another dealership a week later and negotiated the purchase of a used car. Apparently this dealership would rather sit on their cars than sell them. If you do decide to go to this dealership, make sure to ask them if their "WOW" price is negotiable so you do not waste your time!

There is something to be said for no-haggle pricing. I found a couple of vehicles I liked on the website, wrote down the numbers and brought them in... I was initially concerned the WOW pricing was a bait but upon calling I was assured they are the actual prices. Sure enough the vehicle I purchased was priced exactly as advertised. I worked with Noah who did an excellent job in dealing with his existing customer and keeping me up to speed and helped me as soon as he was complete. We test drove the vehicle and returned to discuss pricing. As expected from any dealer, low ball on the trade-in value. Just come prepared with a KBB or similar quote, and my advice is look up similar used cars being sold in the area to get an idea of what they (the dealer will be selling it for) as a realism check. I'll leave it up to the individual on how much they can or will flex on that part of the negotiation but expect that part. My advice again, come with a pre-approved loan of your liking, and see if they can beat it. Over all the experience was nice and fairly uneventful. Both Noah and the finance people were helpful and pleasant. The prices virtually can't be beat... even cross country.

I would highly recommend not doing business with this dealer. I just purchased a 2014 brand new Jeep Cherokee. I got everything financed after they cashed the check thru my credit union they stated that I owed more money. I have worked with all the managers they dont return any phone calls and just state figure it out so it does not mess up your credit. All the managers are rude and provide horrible customer service DONT DO IT!!!

I have been to many car dealerships and have had experiences ranging from terrible to really good, but the customer service at Koon's Jeep Tysons Corner really blew me away, particularly my salesman, Noah Foreman. My girlfriend and I were looking to buy a blue, Jeep Altitude, which is a tough car to find, as we had looked at other dealerships prior to coming to Koon's. Noah was able to locate the car and had a very no pressure approach (he lets the car sell itself, which is how it should be). He had wonderful insight into how the car worked, along with tips and quirks of the vehicle. When it came time to negotiate price, Noah and his boss, Thomas, were more accommodating than even I expected (I am a tough sell). They gave us a more than fair price, particularly for a car that is as rare as it is. They are even removing a hood decal that we did not care for, free of charge. I was extremely satisfied with how the experience went.After the sale (which was on a Saturday), Noah offered to come to our house, when we were ready, and show us how to take off the hard top and install the soft top. The following Monday, I sent him a text to take him up on his offer. He shows up to my house at 8:30 PM after I was home from work. He then walked me through, step-by-step, how to take off the hard top and install the soft top. All told, he spent an hour and 15 minutes, of his own time, at my house, helping me to change out the Jeep tops. He then offered to come back, in the fall, to help switch back to the hard top. I can honestly say that no one has ever gone that far above and beyond for me, as a customer, before. I highly recommend Koon's, and particularly, Noah to anyone looking to purchase a new Jeep. We love the car and probably would never have figured out the tricks to changing out the Jeep tops without Noah's help.

I found myself at Koons because they had a Wrangler that met all of my criteria, and I'm very picky so it wasn't easy to find. I had zero issues with the sale; Noah Foreman doesn't come across as a "car salesman" so much as a guy you wouldn't mind having a beer with who also has the ability to set you up with a vehicle. You can tell his primary interest is in you, not in the sale. I came to see the Jeep, fell in love with it, and bought it.Within the first week after the sale I discovered a couple of issues that we'd both overlooked beforehand. I mentioned them to Noah and within minutes - literally - I found myself in an office with him and Kurt Kline, and they were offering to fix everything at their cost. They weren't really obligated to do this, but they know that it's in their best interest to create happy, repeat customers, and this is reflected in how they handle you. Any vehicle from any dealer can have problems, what matters is how the dealer handles them. In this case, I couldn't have asked for more. Noah and Kurt carried through on their promise and took care of everything. I am truly impressed with how they managed what could have been a bad situation and turned it into a positive experience for me, and I'm also impressed with the quality of the work their service department did. Everyone I've dealt with at this dealership has been friendly and helpful, and I will not hesitate to do business with them again. They've earned my loyalty and my respect.

After visiting another DC area Jeep dealer that made us feel uncomfortable with high pressure tactics and had very little knowledge of the model we were interested in buying, we decided to visit Koons in Tysons Corner. It was like a night and day difference! Noah was so knowledgeable about all of the advanced technology features on the Jeep Cherokee. He demonstrated them with us in a low pressure environment, and he seemed genuinely interested in helping us get exactly what we wanted. My wife and I spent last weekend searching for a new, mid-sized SUV when we met Noah at the Koon's Jeep dealership (Tyson's). It was our first stop. When I explained it was our first stop and we were still looking, he encouraged us to look around, but provided us with a nice checklist (tax, title, tags, processing, destination, etc) of what to look out for when determining the true final price to drive any car off the lot when visiting with other dealers. Unlike most other dealers we dealt with, he seemed to be quick with estimating numbers which later turned out to be accurate at closing. We test drove several other mid-size SUV's over the course of the weekend (including other Jeep dealers), but felt Noah treated us the best. His non-pushy approach drove us back to seeing if he could locate a Jeep Grand Cherokee (JKC) in the color my wife wanted and that we saw at another location. Koon's did not have a the JKC in our color so when I told Noah what we were looking for, he was able to locate one in thirty minutes and offer us a price slightly lower than what was offered by the very pushy salesman at another Jeep dealership offered. My wife said in the car ride home that she felt as though she could call Noah at anytime if she needed something. The icing on the cake for us both was that Noah is a veteran and we're proud to support our combat men and women.

I have been researching the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Wrangler for about three months. Having owned three Grand Cherokees already, I was convinced I wanted a Jeep Wrangler, just to change things up a bit. I knew that I not only wanted an SUV, but I wanted it to be a Jeep!I went in on a snowy Sunday, and I worked immediately with Dennis Chen. We went for a test drive in the Wrangler, and I wasn't impressed. It was fun to drive, but the visibility wasn't what I was expecting, and I live in DC, so I really had a hard time knowing that I truly NEEDED an automatic in the city, but felt blasphemous buying a Wrangler that wasn't manual!So Dennis and I started talking about the new Grand Cherokee Overland (my dream car) and started talking numbers. I'm a lease guy from now on - just because I can't stand the thought of putting money down on a depreciating asset. I told Dennis and Phil Arellano (the finance guy) that if they could get to the monthly payment I wanted, with all expenses included and no money down, that I would buy the Overland. This was a Sunday, and they were already closed, helping me make my decision and committed to the sale. I hadn't even seen the car or driven it! They agreed to my terms, and I asked if I could sleep on it, and they were completely fine with that. The next day, I worked with both Dennis and Noah Foreman - both of whom walked me through every step with the car and treated me as if I was their only customer, despite the fact that they were both really busy. Both Dennis and Noah are down to earth good guys. Guys who know what they know, and don't try and sell you on a vehicle you don't need. This is my fourth Grand Cherokee and sixth car. This was, by far, the best car buying experience I've had, and I would recommend anyone looking into a new vehicle to call either Dennis or Phil (I was lucky enough to work with both). I get in my car every day and love it. Good luck! This is exactly how a car buying experience should be.

Koons beat every other dealer in the DC area and I give the credit to Noah Foreman. I shopped for my vehicle for nearly 3 months and knew exactly what I was looking for and the price I was willing to pay. Once I made contact with Noah, I knew I was going to get an acceptable deal. Noah, a former Air Force NCO, listened to my requests and acted quickly and efficiently utilizing many of the traits he gained from his military training. What singled Noah out from all the other sales personnel and managers was his candor, professionalism, courtesy, and prompt response. If you are in the market for a Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge vehicle, shop all the other dealers and then give Noah a call....he will take great care of you and NOT jerk you around!

Just purchased a new vehicle from Harris Durrani (Sales) and James Morris (General Manager). It was the best new car purchase experience I have ever had and it was because of these guys. Harris was very personable and took the time to LISTEN to what I was looking for and helped me think through what vehicle would best meet my needs. How many sale people can you say that about! Actually I am surprised he isn't the head sales manager himself because of his detailed knowledge and professionalism. He was patient and took the time to allow me to test drive several models. James (The GM) also was one of the most patient and professional guys I ever met. They broke the "car salesman" stereotype for me as they never pressured or pushed anything on me. I regret everyday that I found the truck I wanted there. I live 2 hours a way and made the trip to get the truck and have had the worst customer service ever. After leaving the dealership the truck had a bad vibration but I was almost home so I was not driving back. Went to the local dealer and they did not balance the tires correctly. I have talked to 4 different people there about why this happened and getting it taken care of. It has been 6 days now since they were suppose to mail me a check to pay me back for having to get their sloppy work redone. Still nothing. They don't call you back you have to call them. And when you get someone they can't not keep their promise. Was suppose to get a call back this morning around 10 nothing. Called at 10:30 and was told my people were in a meeting but should be done in 5 mins. It is now 12 and nothing. These people just want to make the sell and then forget about you. This is the third vehicle my wife and I have purchased and it has been the worst experience ever. Their customer service is a joke. I would never buy anything back from these people. I wish that the truck I bought had been somewhere else because I am very upset with lack of customer support they give. Save your time buy somewhere else. The sad thing is I had them flip the tires and the service department could not balance the wheels correctly. As soon as I was able to get to interstate speed the ride was BAD.

My son has long been a Jeep/Chrysler fan and convinced me to visit this dealership after a few bad experiences with neighboring dealers. Prior to visiting I had already placed a deposit on a new Range Rover and I was sure that Koon's could not come close to the customer service or quality. My son introduced me to Chris(Service Manager) and then walked us to Bob Ames to work out a deal for a Jeep Summit or SRT8.Within 10 minutes we agreed on a price and bought the srt8.The transaction could not have been smoother and handled any more professionally. I was pleasantly surprised as my prior experiences were, to say the least, disappointing. Bob, is an excellent salesman and is extremely knowledgeable and personable. I will most certainly visit this dealership, and Chris and Bob again.

I was looking to purchase either the 2014 Jeep Cherokee or the larger Grand Cherokee. I ended up buying the 2014 Jeep Cherokee from this dealership. I really appreciated the support from Jeff Hever. He took me on a test drive with both vehicles and was patient with me (I asked a number of questions) and he also provided information I had not considered about the vehicles and options that could fit my lifestyle. He was straight forward and there was no haggling. He made sure that I was comfortable with the purchase before committing. He also took time to show me some of the features that I had discovered after I purchased the vehicle, including walking me through set up for my cell phone. The entire experience from test driving both vehicles, to coming to a price with Jeff, to financing, and finally driving away with my new car was not painful at all. There was some waiting around due to reduced finance staff but, all-in-all, a great experience.

I bought the 2014 Jeep Cherokee from this dealership. I am perfectly satisfied with the support Jeff Hever provided. He was open and down to earth, there were no games and no haggling. He did his best to give me a price I would like; and he took time to show me the car features, and help me set up various functions after I puchased it. The reason for the lower ratings for customer service and overall experience have to do with the dealership itself - for one thing, they do not have a suitable customer waiting area, so I had to "hang" around while I waited; the second reason is that it took too long to prepare the car after I purchased it, and then I had to come back the next business day because they had run out of stickers.

I bought Jeep Patriot from them. Harris was very professional and fun to work with. They did not come down on the price, but I got a deal on the extended service and he through in some free stuff. Overall experiance is very pleasant. Harris should be an example for many of the car salesmen. A+!!!

Horrible experience. Took in a vehicle for pre-paid oil change and multi-point service at 4pm for a 4:30 appointment. I was told at approximately 4:50 that the brakes were worn down to 25% and the rotors needed to be replaced. I said thanks, but I no longer lived in the area and would take it some place near my home instead. The service rep said to remain in the waiting area until they finished the work. I saw him again at 5:45 and he didn't say anything. At 6pm I asked about the status and got a blank stare. He said it had been ready for a while now and that he'd told me when it was ready. I said that the last thing he said was for me to remain in the waiting area, and he said "oh, yeah, that's right. Sorry." I believe it was the on-duty service manager who went out to verify the vehicle was ready while I signed the release papers. He gave me a pat on the arm and said something like "thanks for understanding". The paperwork noted the vehicle was ready at 4:55pm.

I contacted the dealership and explained to Jeff my credit situation and he assured me that he would be able to help me out with little money down. Throughout my experience Jeff responded less and less to my emails even though he said that he would get me an answer right away. At one point it took him over 40 hours to respond, leaving me hanging on whether I could be approved or not. Finally when he got back to me he told me that I needed to put at least 45% of the vehicles worth as a down payment. They also ran my credit twice to add two more hard credit inquiries.

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. I called the dealership at closing time on a sunday night (during a NFL playoff game) and Noah Foreman answered the phone. Even though the dealership was passed it closing time, Noah remained on the phone. He was supportive and not aggressive about a used vehicle I was inquiring about from the internet. I told Noah that I wanted to buy that vehicle and I would be at the dealership first thing in the morning. When I arrived at the dealership the next morning, the vehicle was clean and serviced waiting on me at the time we discussed. All the paperwork was in order and ready to go. Needless to say the process was painful and straight to the point. No kidding around and no hassling from Noah. I was out of the dealership in less than 2 hours and on my way home. Noah was very professional and accommodating. I will definitely recommend buying and would buy another vehicle from Noah Foreman at any dealership.

My experience with this dealership has always been great! I purchased my vehicle in 2005 from a dealership just a few blocks up the street from this Koons dealership. Koons brought that dealership during the height of the recession, but I have never felt any less of a customer. My car has always been serviced well, and I receive regular email reminders when it is time to bring the car in for routine maintenance. Adam seems to go the extra mile in helping customers feel welcome and comfortable. I need quite a bit of service to my vehicle, as I had missed a couple of maintenance appointments. Adam explained what my vehicle needed and why. He even went out of his way to help me transfer some boxes from my rental vehicle to my own car, when I came in to pick it up. We walked in without any appointment and he brought us right out for a test drive and was very helpful.We were shopping around for cars and were not sure if we would purchase one that day, the main reason we did was because of Noah's help. He gave a ton of feedback through the process and was honest and attentive.I would recommend anyone to Koons and specifically to deal with Noah.(One negative was after we decided on the car, we waited for a very long time to get through the process. One woman sold us some waxing package which had value and we bought it but was just painful to sit through. I live in Richmond Virginia and I came across a jeep that I was interested in on Koon's website. I called them up and talked to Harris Durrani. He held the jeep for me since I was not able to make the trip that day. When I arrived the next day, the jeep was waiting for me in the garage cleaned up and washed, ready for a test drive. I test drove the jeep, loved it, and purchased the jeep. Tom was very helpful and courteous. Living 4 hours away from Tyson's Corner, he assured me on the price of the Ram I was purchasing as well as my trade. Since my wife and I were coming in from out of State, we called in advance to let the dealership know what vehicle we were interested in. When we arrived, "our vehicle" was already parked in front of the showroom and our salesman (Jeff Hever) spent a good 20 minutes expertly describing the many features of the vehicle. He then played the role of navigator as we took the vehicle on a long test drive around town. By the time we returned, he had already had an appraisal for the vehicle we intended to trade in.

From the start, Rich was a pleasure to work with. If you cringe at the thought of having to go through the car buying process -- especially dealing with the sales person -- Rich will be a breath of fresh air. He was knowledgable, patient, honest, and really made us feel like he was looking out for our best interests. He didn't try to "up sell" me and my husband, accommodated our ever changing requirements, and made the purchase process painless. As far as pricing goes, Koon's was the most competitive in a 50mi radius (that's as far as we looked). This car lot has an extensive amount of new and used cars to choose from with a clean and new looking sales building inside. I had the pleasure of getting Dennis Chen as my sales associate and he truly was the best sales associate I have experienced to date when purchasing a car. He was very friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable of cars overall. In the past, at other dealerships, most approaches other sales associates take are to greet you as soon as you get out of the car (which is a good thing) but then you would let him/her know you just wanted time to look around but they would still be lurking around the corner or awkwardly walking behind you while you looked at cars and start talking about every car you walked up to which would always create stress for me and would take the fun out of buying the car; but this dealership was different than those others. In the past most sales people tell you what you want to hear in attempts to sell a car (i would even ask questions I already knew the answers for just to see if they were BSing me or not) but Dennis was just the opposite and it was refreshing. On the test drive he encouraged me to have fun with the car (while being safe) and just enjoyed talking about cars overall. The test drive was not just hearing about why I should buy the car, rather he would advise to take a certain road to test the handling or speed/performance and ask if I was comfortable in traffic and on the back roads with the size and power of the car, etc; all these things seemed to be making sure not that I just wanted the car, but if it was the right car for me. He would really listen to the things I had to say before responding and would provide educated and non-judgemental answers. OnceI found a vehicle I wanted we then started looking at trade-in values and all the requirements I needed to be met for me to complete the sale. Upon getting the first quote back for my trade-in from his management, I advised Dennis the quote was too low and he listened to my reasoning, built a new game plan that I agreed with and went back to his management a second time with a counter offer and although it seemed like his management didn't want to move much from their initial offer, he was able to have them increase the price of my trade-in and also took off certain fees and other small money saving add-ons which allowed the overall price for my trade-in to meet my expectations. My financing associate was Andy Brunclik and he was a very friendly and enjoyable person to be around and did everything possible to not only get me the best financing available, but then got another 5% knocked off. Thereafter he also saved me more money with discount codes he had saved for the bumper to bumper warranty of 7 years. Prior to finding those discounts for me he could tell I wanted the full warranty but it was just out of my price range and he kept going back through each option and would find small discounts which all together added up to a nice savings of the warranty. I not only recommend visiting this dealership but I highly recommend asking to speak with Dennis and if you choose to buy a car then ask to work with Andy in financing.

I came into the dealership after an extensive search online for a new Jeep Wrangler. Upon walking in, Harris set me up with the model I had chosen, but was also careful to show me other models and packages to see if there were any other options or features I would like or could do with out compared to the one I had picked.The service department has been outstanding. I was unable to take delivery of the Dual Top option due to my own personal lack of storage space at home. I took two weeks to make room for storing a top. During that time, the service department held onto my soft top free of charge and installed even though the sale took place weeks before I took delivery. Great people -- and I'll be sure to make all of my automotive purchases and service decisions with Koons recommendations in the future.

I was qouted $90 for 5 tires mounted/balanced and TPMS transfer, but when I came they qouted me so many different prices. Their service advisors don't know what they are talking about. They said, the car needed to reprogram after TPMS tranfering to the new wheel. I told them no it does not have to unless it's a new TPMS or from a different car, but they kept telling me that it has to. I told the guy, that you guys are ridiculous and tired of you guys. He said, then don't ever come here. What a bad customer service.

Even if you are looking for another brand (Ie. Chevy, Toyota, Honda) Richard can work with you since Koons sells many brands in the Greater DC market at their many dealerships. He is a veteran automotive salesman who is low key, honest, knowledgeable, and sincere. Richard was extremely helpful when trying to locate and secure the Jeep I was looking for my wife, he took ample time to explain the vehicles features, go over the terms of purchase, negotiate successfully on my behalf with his general manager to put me in the new Jeep Grand Cherokee for my wife. When I came for a test drive of the vehicle we had identified over the phone he had it cleaned with a full tank of gas in advance ready to go waiting for my wife and me. Very positive thinking indeed! After we took a drive and loved the Jeep it was just paperwork since the vehicle was already basically prepped. Few dealerships and salesman operate this way. To add icing on the cake, Richard called me during the first week after purchase to see if all was okay, if I had any questions and just generally to get my feedback. He is a real professional and a genuine nice guy. I will call him first next time I am looking for a new vehicle. 5 and a half stars out of 5.

The vehicle that I was looking for was not on the lot, it was actually 180 miles away and Harris and the guys over at Koons in Tyson's got it delivered that very night. Sadly, the truck arrived scratched from the previous dealer so Harris and the team immediately worked with us to get it fixed that very week. Harris scheduled with the body shop and with the in-house car rental, he took care of everything and we couldn't be more impressed. Great experience! Everyone from the GM (James Morris) to our salesman (Tom Ames) to the Finance Manager (Rob Kraus) took care of us like we were one of their own. Everything was explained to us in full and no detail was left out. They made sure that we knew what we were getting and that we knew how to use it. There was no haggling or any of the nonsense that you would normally expect at a dealership. They didn't try to sell us on anything we didn't need and understood everything we did need. If you are the market for a new Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep I would STRONGLY recommend paying this dealership a visit. They made the whole buying process easy and fast and there was none of that waiting around and wasting time that I've had in the past at other dealerships. Mr. Feroca was extremely helpful, and professional. He answered all my questions and if he didnt know something he quickly got me an accurate answer. Due to his great work ethic, he continued to look for a Charger RT that I would be happy with and he found it! Mr. Chen took the initiative and while I was waiting for some paperwork to be done informed me of a lot of features with my new Cjarger. He informed me that only regular unleaded & regular oil not full synthetic is needed. Ms. Christine is finance explained some options with my warranty options and was very professional. I drove 2 1/2 hours to purchase a car at Koons of Tysons Corner. I called Tom and talked with him 2-3 times before driving there. He took extra pictures of the car from his phone and texted them to me to assure me it was in great condition as I didn't want to drive so far and then find out there were dents that I wasn't aware of from the photos on line. . I so appreciated him taking these extra steps. He didn't have to do those things, but because he did, It made me want to continue to work with him. I went to the dealership looking for a Camaro that they had advertised on their website for a really great deal. I was very skeptic of the price because I went to two other dealerships that morning and they all had great deals online, however, once we talked price, one dealership told me they had a $1,500 fee on all used vehicles and the other one told me that they had incentives I had to qualify for in order to get their advertised price for a used vehicle. However, this was not the case with Koons. As soon as I got to the dealership, Tim Welton told me there were no hidden fees or incentives and that the price online was the price of the vehicle. That set this dealership apart from the others right from the start. That wasn't the only thing this dealership had to offer. I had been to two dealerships that day and went to three others prior with my wife to buy a vehicle. Sales Consultant after Sales Consultant they tried pressuring us into vehicles that we were no longer interested in due to the test drive or price. Yet, Tim, was the opposite. Right from the start I felt like I was talking to a friend and someone who was looking out for what I wanted and actually listened to my interests and concerns. Not one concern went unanswered, and best of all, he gave me the pros and the cons for the vehicle.This experience made a huge impression on me because it was not something commonly found among Sales Consultants anymore. The price helped, but it was definitely Tim's passion for the customer that sold the vehicle that day! Tim Welton is a fantastic sales consultant, and I highly recommend him. I can't remember the last time I had a positive experience at a dealership - Harris made me a believer. Our experience at Koons Tysons Corner Jeep was exceptional. We liked Tom Ames from the first time we met him. He never pressured us into buying a vehicle and he was extremely knowledgeable. I wish other sales persons were more like him. He also gave me a straight answer when it came to the value of my trade in. The other jeep dealership I visited promised a lot more for it until we sat down to discuss numbers. Then the car was worth a lot less and they started back pedaling on their previous numbers. Koons Tysons Corner also has the selection other dealerships just don't have. Now I hope the service department is as good as the rest of the experience was.

I went into Koons Jeep in Tysons' on July 4 2013 having narrowed my search down to 3 or 4 Rubicons I had found on Koon's website. I met Tom Ames there who was very much not a pressure salesman. He is, however, a Jeep fanatic and was able to help me compare the Jeeps I knew that I liked, It was a breeze-- the help choosing one, a fun test-drive, easy paperwork, no-hassle trade on 15 year old beater, easy favorable finance etc. I was driving home maybe 90 minutes after telling Tom that i wanted the Rubicon that I had chosen. I say "chosen" because Tom helped me chose- no pressure. I would recommend Tom Ames of Koons in Tyson's without reservation

Wow is right. The pricing looks good on the web. Then you get there. First the car you were interested in is sold. Then they magically find it, its your lucky day!!!!Next comes the pricing sheet, your price is no longer the one on the web, that was a price from yesterday! Strange that I printed it that morning, "something in the system" excuse.WOW pricing doesn't include freight, so add $1k (even though the MSRP they list DOES include freight).Ridiculous Doc fee of $600We agree on condition of trade, but then they lowball 4k under KBB trade. Carmax offers me $500 less than KBB, and its a cash offer.We play sign this scrap sheet of paper to show I'm serious, even though I offered to write a check.This is all on a car that had been sitting on the lot for 6 months.Not going back, ever, no way. Too many other good choices in the Metro DC area.

Top Notch is all that I would really say. Tom and I were going back and forth about a vehicle that I like and we came to terms on a great price. Tom worked hard to get top dollar for my trade and also did everything he could to make sure everything went smooth. Took us through all the step and really knew a lot about the vehicle he was selling me. I didn't make the sale an easy one for Tom but he stuck with it and did everything he could to make the sale. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in shopping for a Jeep. Also, nothing but great things to say about Andy in the finance department. I was initially surprised at the interest rate I was offered. Andy dug in and went to work. He understood something did seem right and after a few phone calls he had it right where we expected. I didn't believe him when he told me there may be a chance the rate could go down. Sure enough the next day he called and it went down nearly a whole point. Couldn't believe it. He did a great Job.

This man drives, and eats and breathes Jeep .Every question I threw at him he could answer, and provide a solution for he was enthusiastic, professional, knowledgeable, and above all excited to help. Example...when i was disappointed with the look of stock 15" on my Wrangler Sport He upgraded me from 15" to 17" tires for a fraction of what a dealer woud normally charge, and put me in touch with quadratic a great resource for aftermarket upgrades. He also gave him his cell in case I had any questions down the road.Overall, great guy, who really wants to help.If anyone from Koons Management is reading this...you have a rockstar on your hands.

I had several dealers in my home town area seraching for the right Jeep for me, but no one could find the color I wanted and options that I desired. So I explanded my online search to 500+ miles away and found the Koons Tysons Corner dealership in VA. Their online "Wow" price was better than any local dealer could do and it even included additional options that weren't included locally. I emailed the dealer and was assigned a sales person named Tom Ames, who couldn't be nicer. When I told him that I hadn't yet seen the vehicle in that color, he walked outside, took several pictures of the "just delivered" jeep and sent them to me. After a few calls back and forth, we decided to buy the Jeep. When I told him we were going to fly down that evening and asked for transportation options from the airport (1 hour away), he offered to pick us up at the airport himself! As it turned out, we didn't make the flight, so we got in our car and drove overnight to be at the dealership the next morning (we live in NH). When we mentioned this to Tom, he suggested a great hotel nearby.When we got to the dealership the next morning, the Jeep was waiting for us and exactly as described. Tom's service was fantastic. He owns his own Jeep and had several tips for us as a first time Jeep buyer. After purchasing a few add-ons, Tom helped to install them right in the parking lot. Then offered us lunch before our 10 hour ride back home.A few hours into our trip, we got a phone call from Tom, asking how the trip was going, which we thought was very nice. And later that evening (about 2 hours from home), we got another phone call from Tom. He was genuinely concerned about us making it back home safely in the pending snow storm we had run into. It's been about 5 weeks since our purchase and Tom has emailed us several time to make sure everything is going well. It's nice to know that a Sales person still cares about you after you leave the lot. That is rare and truly appreciated! Especially when we drove over 600 miles to pick up the vehicle.I would recommend the Koons Dealership and Tom Ames for anyone looking to purchase Jeep inside or outside the Washington DC/VA area. Even if you live a distance away, they will make it worth your trip! :-)

I would highly recommend Tom Ames at Koons in Tysons to anyone interested in purchasing a Jeep Wrangler. Not only did I get the exact model, color, and options I was looking for, I got my new Jeep Wrangler Moab at a price I was really happy with and for less than other dealers I had shopped. The best part of the experience was working with Tom. A fellow Wrangler owner and enthusiast, Tom really knew his stuff and was able to answer all my questions and give me a lot of really useful information. This is the 3rd Wrangler I have purchased and I have gone in all three times well-educated on what I was planning to purchase and not once before has a salesperson been able to answer even 10% of my questions until now. Additionally, when I went to pick up my new Wrangler Tom took the time to go over EVERY feature of my new vehicle with me and even gave me some great tips on how to handle my new vehicle and important things to know. It was a truley pleasant experience that helped me to feel secure and sure in my purchase and I will definetely return to Koons for my next vehicle purchase and any service needs for my new Jeep.

Most dealerships near me have a very limited selection, so I don't mind driving up to several hours to find what I want at a good price. Because of this, I like to do my negotiaing online before I drive to the dealership. Originally I was dealing with Ourisman in Clarksville, MD and found the Wrangler Sahara I wanted at a good price. Then I found out that the price included all possible rebates, and that I didn't qualify for any of them. A really good price then became just an OK price. I then found out that Koons had the same Wrangler (with a few more options) at a very good price. I discussed price via email with the Sales Manager Tre and found out that the WoW price wasn't dependent upon any rebates, and within a few short emails, I told them I'd be there on Friday to pick it up. Tre emailed me back and told me that if I could finish the deal by Thursday (last day of the month) he'd take off an additional amount. The very good price became a great price.When I arrived, I met Tre and one of his salesmen, Tom Ames. Tom quickly had all the paperwork for my trade completed and we finalized the deal. In a very short time I had more Wrangler for less money than I would have had with Ourisman, and the people I met couldn't have been nicer. The showroom was spotless and very inviting.For me, Koons was well worth the drive, and it was a pleasure buying my Jeep from them.

In November 2012, I was looking for a very specific jeep and found 2 in the Virginia that suited me needs. So, I contacted sales persons at 2 different dealerships to get more specifics on the vehicles. I was pre-approved and took a 17 hour train ride from FL to VA. I stopped at Lustine Jeep Chrysler Dodge only because it was closest from the train station I arrived in. I was lied to, and treated like an idiot at Lustine Jeep. So I walked out and contacted Tom Ames at Koons Tysons Jeep, and to my amazement, he made a 45 minute drive from his location to come and pick me up from Lustine Jeep!! We arrived at Koons Tyson and he took me directly to the Jeep I wanted. So needless to say, I drove back to FL in brand new, 2013 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon that same evening. I got my Rubicon with leather interior, navigation, and many more bells, whistles and conveniences at a great price, out the door. Way less than Lustine Jeep and other Florida dealerships asking price. Everyone I encountered at Koons Tysons Jeep was very professional and courteous. Tom Ames, greatest sales person I've ever dealt with. Jimmy Collier in Finance department was very clear and honest about all paperwork, fees, and Jeep warranty info. Jessica Elliot took care of my "out of state" tag issues. I have never purchased a vehicle with such professionalism, courtesy and ease. Let me first start by saying what I got at Farrish. So I stood in dead center in the middle of the EMPTY showroom with a friend for nearly 15 minutes before "Terry" came in and checked up on me. Now Farrish came with one offer and was not willing to negotiate whatsoever. Then Terry came off and said, why do you want a Rubicon? I said, "I want the best and if I go off roading once a year, I'd like to be ready."Terry, "Look I'm a redneck and I don't even go off-roading."Great, another redneck reminding me I'm not part of the club... thanks. And they weren't willing to budge even a dollar on the initial quote they gave me. So I left. Many of friends went to Koons and I decided to go there. Instantly, I was greeted by Doug - who was the best. So willing, helpful, he's called numerous times to make sure everything is okay post-purchase. He's very knowledgeable about his product and makes sure you know all the ins and outs upon purchase. It's very rare you get a sales guy like him. So instead of ordering a 2012, he sold me on a brand new custom built 2013, and I'm glad he did. This thing is amazing and custom built to exactly what I wanted. I did order the dual top package and they deliver the vehicle's soft top under the hardtop. So I couldn't get the hardtop off and called Doug to see if he knew what I was doing wrong. He actually lives near me in Maryland and came to the house to help with the two screws I couldn't find. NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not to mention, Koons beat out Farrish's price by $1500 with no rebates Farrish also will NOT stop emailing me. I've replied 5 times and called just as many to get off their mailing list. But every week it's some no dummy trying to get me in their shop to spend more than I did at Koons. Even on the day I had to go put my deposit at Koons, Farrish called. They said there's nothing we can do to change your mind. I let them know they weren't even willing to budge on the price so I'm on route to Koons to sign the papers. They hung up and Terry, the original sales guy from Farrish, called me up about five minutes later and said, what are they offering it to you for? When I let him know the price, he's like, "There's nothing I can do to beat that. Take it."Koons, you rock and in a year when my brother moves to the area, I will make sure he gets his new Jeep from Koons also. And hopefully we are lucky enough to get Doug again. Save yourself a trip, skip Farrish and go directly to Koons. Ask for Doug.

We found Koons and within 12 hours of contacting them, we traded in 3 cars, test drove 3 new Jeeps and ended up with a 2013 Patriot. LOVE it! After many weeks of exploring other dealerships in a 75 mile radius of Koons Tysons Corner. Tom was the salesman we started out with and ended up with in the end. He was very patient, thorough but not pushy at any time. Tom worked hard to get us the best price on our trade and put us in our 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee in the right color combination at the right price for us. So, four days later, I bought a 2012 Rubicon from Tom. I never felt like I was behind the curtain, so to speak. The managers were open to my questions, the salesman I worked with (Tom) was the best salesman I have ever worked with. He was honest, sincere and tolerated my inability to decide what I wanted, for days. Phil, one of the managers was very nice and put up with my many visits to his desk as well. I have always been satisfied, however the current group including {Brian Murray - G.M., a stand up guy} Greg Welch {the best damn Service Advisor I have ever dealt with] Jimmy Collier-Financing, great job setting me up with a lifetime warranty and now Curt Kline{used car manager}. All these guys are great at what they do. I have been in sales all my life and I know dealing with the public is tough, but the real test is how you handle cust. svc. after the fact. I had a frustrating issue today,three days after I purchased my lifetime "maximum care warranty",because Chrysler had not recieved it in thier system yet. I called Curt Kline to express my comcern, and in 15 minutes I went on line and all my information was registered, and now I have peace of mind , that I am completely covered. I own a great Jeep Liberty which I truly enjoy driving. However, the left rear window needed repair. I had a dealer warranty, and took my car in to be fixed. Not only did Koons deliver the most friendly and quick service, but if I could rate customer service there, it would be at its highest. Very friendly people, excellent work, free shuttle service nearby so I wouldn't miss work while my car was being repaired, completely satisfied with deliverance of service. I find it a great place to do business in the future, maybe when I decide to trade in my car for one of the nice ones displayed on their lot. The Koons team absolutely "wows" me! Thank you all!

I needed (wanted) a new van to replace an 11 year old vehicle that is primarily used for toting around pinball machines, people, and building supplies on occasion. I looked at a number of vans and became quite interested in the Dodge Caravan and its "Stow & Go" seating after meeting with Omar during a visit to Koons Tysons Chrysler/Dodge Jeep. Omar showed me the variety of models available, the differences between them, and took the time to go over the various options. I finally decided upon a model that had what I wanted but I thought it was priced well above what I had intended to pay even after subtracting my trade-in vehicle. Omar said not to worry and to give him the price I felt comfortable with. It was late in the evening and shortly before closing, but Omar went to his management and was able to work some unusually aggressive pricing and trade-in value magic to get me close enough to where I wanted to be that I bought the car! Everyone I worked with at Koons was pleasant, comical at times, and easy to work with during the deal. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend Omar and the rest of the Koons team to give pleasant, professional service and a very reasonable deal on the car they're looking for.

Rob promise me during the sale that I can bring the truck to any Koons dealership for change oil and when I made my 1st oil change at annapolis location they have no idea what I'm talking about, then I called rob about the situation and he said that the company has change the policy that it can only do the oil change at tyson location. just to make a sale he can lie in front of your face without a single blink of an eye. rob knowing that I live about 50 miles away. then I called one of the Manager (Patrick) and told him about the situation and he said that he will let the General Manager know about this situation and he will call me back, again even the manager is willing to lie just to get you of the phone because I've never hear from any of the Koons dealership. this dealership is train to LIE just to make a buck.

The engine warning light on our 2005 Jeep Liberty kept coming on because of misfiring even after a service station had replaced the #3 coil pack three times. I called Koons, left a voicemail describing the problem and got a return call from Greg Welch within 10 minutes, even though we had never been to Koons for service previously. Within a half hour I had dropped off the SUV at Koons and shortly after I got home Greg called to let me know that a tech was already checking out the vehicle and that the preliminary diagnosis was fuel injector service and top engine cleaner and not a valve spring as I'd feared. Late the next day the work was done and I called Greg for details just before closing and he took the time to explain to me what had been done and why and told me that if the problem wasn't solved and a valve job was needed later it would be covered under Jeep's 7/70 warranty. It's now 2 weeks since the service and the Liberty is running fine. Greg's service was outstanding and I would highly recommend Greg and the Koons Jeep service department.

My experience with this dealership and the sales manager, Patrick Hennessy, was so bad I am going to report them to the Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau. I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying a new car from Koons Tysons Corner. They are very reluctant to give you a firm numbers. Moreover, they will continue to maniplulate the numbers of the Sales Sheet. They will get you in will a low price the tack $499 is documentation fee and moving destination fee. In my case, they tried to get away with tacking $925 in destination fee a second time. During a 2 week period, I got a distinct sense, the Koons sales manager did not like me or want to sell me a car. When I walked away from the deal, they fired the poor sales person. I am very shocked Koons deploys these sales tactics. These are the old pre-internet sales tactics. I have yet to get a phone call from anyone at Koons about this matter. It is my opinion this is systemic problem and sales tactic at Koons. Should you elect to buy a car from this dealership, get the various fees upfront. Then when you decide on a vehicle, get them to sign a Final Sales Sheet with ALL costs and discounts applied. Get this sent to you in advance by email or to reviiew. When you come in to purchase the vehicle, DO NOT sign any other Sales Sheet. Otherwise you run the risk of the so called "shell game" and they will tack on other numbers.If you would like to read the full story and my letter to the General Manager, I have posted below and other places online:------------ Hi Mr. Murray,My name is John Doe. I guess you can say, I am a was a prospective new customer as of yesterday. I tried reaching you by phone, but was informed my Mr. Thomas Higgins that you were out. Furthermore, he was very reluctant to take any action on my complaint; other than perhaps try to sell me a car.I would like to inform you about my experience and the Jim Koons Automotive Jeep dealership in Tysons Corner. In short, the very questionable sales tactics and poor customer relations management of your sales manager Mr. Patrick Hennessy made me cancel my order and walking out your dealership. Moreover, it is my understanding that Mr. Hennessy fired my sales consultant, Mr. Aniss Bensidhoum, shortly thereafter.For the past couple of weeks, I have been engaged with Mr. Bensidhoum and your Tysons Corner Jeep dealership to purchase a new vehicle. I stated this would be a cash transaction in the late April timeframe. I came into the dealership to test drive the vehicle once myself, and a second time with my family. During this entire process, I sensed Mr. Hennessy did want to sell me a vehicle. I am not sure if it had to do with the cash transaction, my time table, my interest in a special vehicle not in your inventory, or perhaps some aspect of my demeanor. I will try to list these instances specifically.During my entire engagement with Mr. Hennessy and your dealership, getting firm pricing in a timely manner has been challenging to say the least. When I finally did receive firm pricing by email, the numbers did not add up. Although, the discrepancy was not too significant. Other dealerships in the area provided TrueCar pricing by phone and email. On Tuesday, March 13, 2012 Mr. Hennessy provided me firm pricing for my vehicle, which he had located at another dealership in Pennsylvania. I was told over the phone by Mr. Hennessy, through Mr. Bensidhoum, my vehicle of choice could be held for me for late April delivery. This would save me 8-12 weeks over a factory order. I was instructed to come in and make a deposit, and the balance to be paid in cash when I picked up the vehicle in late April. When I walked into your dealership yesterday (3/14/12), Mr. Hennessy startled me by informing me that they would not hold the vehicle until April timeframe. He then told me I better place a custom oder. This was completely contrary to what I was told less than 24 hours earlier. My only reason to stop by the dealership was to make a deposit on the vehicle. Despite Mr. Hennessys outright lie about holding the vehicle for me, I continued to pursue the sales traction with Mr. Bensidhoum. So, I went ahead and gave him my deposit and order. But, when I saw the final sales sheet again, I noticed this time Mr. Hennessy had slipped a $925 destination fee, which was not part of our previous sales sheet for the same exact vehicle configuration. At no juncture had Mr. Hennessy or Mr. Bensidhoum stated to me that they would be changing the terms of my pricing. All of the options on the were exactly the same. This was the last straw. I requested my deposit back, and informed the sales agent to contact me when they had a final sales sheet that reflected the price we had negotiated.I am very disappointed with these outdated sales practices. It does not reflect well on the Koons brand. Moreover, firing Mr. Bensidhoum was unnecessary and totally unacceptable. He should have his job back. From my perspective your sales consultant did his job. Mr. Bensidhoum is no more than a scapegoat for Mr. Hennessys shady sales practices. I am very well aware, all pricing decisions and information were given to Aniss by Mr. Hennessy. I have worked closely with sales and marketing organizations for over 20 years, and I can tell you Mr. Hennessy is harming your brand far more than the profits he can gain your through questionable sales practices.I urge you to contact me immediately to discuss the matter further before I resort to other channels.Sincerely,John Doe

Koons employees were the most knowledgeable, and provided the best assistance in selecting the right combination of features and colors for my family. I purchased my new Jeep Liberty (which I love!) in August, 2011. The Jeep is great, the dealership has provided me with one of the worst experiences I've had when purchasing a vehicle and this is my 9th purchase! (My first and last purchase with Koons). My sales consultant was Omar Shawish. I specifically told him what I was looking for prior to coming into Koons. He assured me that they had the exact vehicle I wanted and so I went to the dealership the next day to purchase it. Once I got to the dealership he tried to have me test drive vehicles that were not the same as what I wanted and of course I found out that they did not have my desired vehicle in stock. I wasn't too sure why he lied to me, but I should have taken that as a warning sign and looked elsewhere. I ended up purchasing a vehicle through Koons that was in Pennsylvania (it was what I was looking for). Prior to my purchase I was told that an incentive for buying a new Jeep is that I was to receive free oil changes for life at any Jeep dealership. It was important that Omar verify with me that it was infact ANY Jeep dealership as I do not live close to the Koons dealership. He did in fact confirm with me that it was ANY dealership. Today I took my Jeep in for it's first oil change and wouldn't you guess...it's not free. It's not even an offer that Jeep makes with their new vehicles. I call Omar to speak with him about it and he "doesn't recall" telling me that I was to receive free oil changes. I spoke to his general manager - Brian Murray (not sure if that is the correct spelling) to complain about my experience with Omar and all Brian had to say to me was "We don't really get a lot of complaints about Omar." Well Brian, you were getting one when I was speaking to you and you didn't want to hear it. Buyer beware! I love my Jeep but I'll never do business with that dealership again.

These guys ROCK! I came in without an appointment and asked for an oil change. I also mentioned a noise that kept bugging me. Understanding that the technicians were probably busy I did not expect my noise concern to be addressed. I also was prepared to wait for several hours..Well imagine my level of excitement when my service advisor approached me in the customers lounge to report on the progress. The tech (Mr. Battle I believe his name was. Pardon me if I am mistaken) was finishing up with the service and he DID find where the noise was coming from! The guys were also thoughtful enough to check for any open recalls and there was one for my jeep that hadnt been performed yet!!! We visited Koons to see the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit. We wanted to see the vehicle and see all the features but our intent was not to buy a car that day. Shaun Barnard was very helpful in explaining the features of the Jeep. He lives and dies with the Jeep brand. He was not pushy in completing a sale but we became more and more interested. After a few hours of reviewing the Grand Cherokee, we knew we wanted this vehicle but we were not sure if Koons would be the dealer. Shaun worked with us well and was very fair.I have now bought two different Jeeps this year from two different dealers. My impression of car salesmen has improved with these experiences. I hope there are more people like Shaun. He made the experience very positive.

I have nothing but absolute praise for the level of service Shaun provided from the start.He was very up front and went the extra mile to ensure that everything went smoothly. I originally contacted Shaun through an information request about a 2011 Grand Cherokee at their location. He responded immediately and was able to answer my basic questions without asking his 'manager'. The first indicator that Shaun is like no other was when I told him I was not able to come in to view the vehicle for two days because of my schedule, to which Shaun offered to bring it by my house for a personal showing, that very night. Who knew that level of service still existed! Shaun went over every detail of the cars design and capabilities, along with its history and how the competitors compared. He spent over an hour walking around the outside explaining everything and an additional thirty-minutes inside. Shaun is a true car and Jeep enthusiast and knows not only the basics but a level of detail I have never seen in a car salesman. As an example, never once did Shaun open or have to refer to a manual for any details as he knew them off hand! He clearly knows his stuff and will bend over backwards to ensure the process is enjoyable, you get what you want, on good terms, and (best of all) you get Shaun for the life of the vehicle as a point of contact for any and everything you could ever imagine.I will always compare future car salesman to Shaun and will admit, I know I will be disappointed because he has set the bar so high.Go to Shaun, or go home disappointed!

I just wanted to let everyone know what a great experience I had at Koons Tyson's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. I came in for my very first oil change and was waiting for it to be complete. I was approached by David Ehlert about my Jeep and how the oil had spilled on to the skid plate and some of the engine. David informed me that he could have it cleaned up in a few minutes, or I could get a rental car for the day and he would have my Jeep detailed. Well needless to say, I took the rental car and detail. I was first blown away by Dave's honesty. I'm sure that they could have not said anything and I may not have even noticed the oil being spilled. secondly, I was blown away by the detail job they did on my Jeep. They thoroughly steam cleaned the engine, vacuumed and wiped down the interior of the Jeep, as well as polishing the exterior. Man it looked sharp. Then to top it all off. I wasn't charged a penny for the oil change.That is GREAT SERVICE...Not to mention. I later noticed that they had taken out the storage cover in the rear trunk area, to do a thorough cleaning, and forgot to put it back. I called and spoke with David and he had a BRAND NEW one sent to the shop the very next day for me. These guys are GREAT and have made a loyal customer out of me. Starting looking online for Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon availability. Found some things at Koons I was interested in and wanted more information. Called, got Jeff, and got good answers. He called right back with some answers he didn't have right away regarding incoming 2012 models. On whim we decided to drive over to the dealership to look around and compare 2011 and 2012 models. In the middle of (Hurricane) Irene we test drove 3 different Jeeps all with the courteous help of Jeff. After a 5 hour day, with very patient kids in tow, we settled on a car and a price and were driving our new car home. Thanks Jeff and Koons.

I used USAA's buying service as I prepared to purchase my new Jeep Grand Cherokee. Koons was one of USAA's three preferred dealerships in my area. Since I had previously dealt with one of the others on the list and had not enjoyed the experience, I decided to try Koons this time. Their commercials are absolutely true. They want to "Wow You" and they succeeded. They contacted me first as a result of my USAA request and we emailed a few times. They had exactly what I wanted, and I arranged a time to come out. When I got there, they were literally standing in the parking lot waiting for my arrival. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional the entire time...even including my 15 year old daughter in the conversations. There was no haggling or trying to get me into another, more expensive car. They accepted that the information I had given the USAA car buying service was what they were dealing with. I felt and was treated like an extremely valued customer the entire time. I got a great price on my new Jeep and was very happy with the amount they gave me on my trade-in. They even beat the interest rate I had gotten on my pre-approved loan through USAA. I will absolutely use them again and can't say enough about how pleasant they made the entire car buying experience. I especially loved working with Don. He's very down to earth and easy going but he really knew his stuff!

I work with Jeff after inquiring via the website about a New 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. He followed up via email as I requested, which was my preferred method of contact until I was in the final stages of my decision. There was no pestering, nagging or preasuring; just simple follow-up emails gauging my level of interest and availability. Once I was finally able to visit the dealership he had the two vehicles we were discussing pulled out for an easy walk around. While I ended up purchasing a different one on the lot, it was because Jeff easily described the differences between the vehicles and options each were equipped with. Eventually we settled on a fair price for the new vehicle and the value of my trade-in. The finance department was even able to present better financing terms than what was advertised and what my Credit Union was offering! The one and only grip I had with my experience is that they only staffed two finance department employees on a Saturday; which led to a lot of waiting around until one was available!

I came into the dealership wanting to trade a seven year old vehicle for a new one, and with sketchy credit, to boot. The entire sales team (namely Shaun, but all were great) bent over backwards to help make this happen. It wasn't easy, but I left the dealership with a brand new Jeep Patriot, and couldn't be happier with not only my choice of vehicle, but my choice of dealerships. I would strongly recommend that anyone in the market for a Jeep, Chrysler, or any of the other makes available with Koons, use them. They are amazing.

Great experience from start to finish. Called dealership to check on vehicle availability, and Jeff was able to promptly and efficiently answer all questions. Next we queried local dealers through an auto buying service for the vehicle we wanted. Within minutes we received an email from Pat with a vehicle that met our requirements along with a price quote that certainly could not be beat. One call later and we were set to go in, see our vehicle, and take possession that day if we so chose. Upon arriving we were greeted by both Pat and Jeff, and then Jeff walked us through the easiest sales process we've ever experienced!

Could have been quicker but they did the best they could. From start to finish it was about 4 hours. We would have liked it to go a bit faster but things kept coming up. Everyone was friendly enough and the showroom was very pretty (newly renovated) and location was good.

I had to work hard with the finance guy to get a good rate. He kept trying to convince me to take a higher rate, and continued to try to sell me a warranty plan even though i told him several times i wasn't interested. I did finally get an acceptable finance rate.The sales part of the experience was very pleasant.

Wow, if someone told me buying a car is a fun and pleasant experience I'd tell them they were out of their minds. BUT, believe it or not, I had the most enjoyable experience shopping for my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Larado last night. For the last 6 months I had gone to several dealers looking at Jeeps and everytime walked away empty handed and exhausted from being there for hours because the sales consultant dragged their feet and wasn't upfront and honest with the price. Finally, I looked up the vehicle I wanted on Koons website and sent them an email with what I was looking for, explained my financing situation, and made an appointment. (Koons is a 45 min drive from my home but I wanted to give them a chance). I received an email response within an hour. Upon my arrival at Koons, I was greeted by a friendly staff and met the sales consultant who would help me with my purchase. Since I told them what I wanted in my email, my sales consultant pulled their inventory in advance and I immediately went for a test drive while my trade-in was getting appraised. The sales consultant was knowledgeable of the vehicle, had a very pleasant and personable personality, and never made me feel rushed and stressed over buying something I wasn't there for. Luckily, the numbers worked out to my liking and Koons was able to offer me a better interest rate than what I had already worked out with my bank. The Finance Officer and Sales Manager was also friendly and very pleasant to work with. I never thought buying a vehicle would be stress free but it was and I want to thank Koons and their staff for helping me get what I've been looking for. I will DEFINITELY go back to them in the future.

IWe have been using Koons Tysons to service our two previous Jeep Grand Cherokees since it opened, but this is the first new car we bought from them. Shaun Barnard was a master of showcaing the 2011 Grand Cherokee so that it could sel itslef. He did not pressure us but instead answered our questions and compared the Limited to the Laredo X so that we could make up our own minds. He was vrey friendly and very knowledgeable without being pushy. The dealership was very busy that day and they actually let us leave for 90 minutes to buy dinner rather than holding us hostage as other dealres have done. When we got back, the finance guy was ready for us. Jackie was also very friendly and knowledgeable. Same approach. Laid out our options and let us decide. The price negotiation was the only negative thing about the overall experience--the advertised 125% of Blue Book for our trade-in turned out to be less than it appeared to be in large print.

Be sure to check all the additional junk fees added to the offer sheet. Koons is your typical waste your entire day sales process where you get worn down with a good offer followed by another offer and then fees are added back in. Great place to test drive a vehicle but watch the final price you pay at financing. Meantime, financing department is awesome with best rates around. Too bad we had to rip up the contract because two freight/destination charges were tried to be collected.

We approached Koon's in the spring of 2011 with an internet price for a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon with intent to purchase on that visit. We asked for Shaun Bernard based on previous positive reviews on this site. Mr. Bernard met with us briefly and then introduced us to Douglas Stadler before leaving for the day. Mr. Stadler was professional and friendly and did everything he could to assist us with our purchase. Unfortunately, we weren't pleased with the Rubicon model and decided to pursue a different trim/options package. Koon's did not have the model we wanted, and Mr. Stadler maintained contact with us for several weeks offering to help us find our Jeep or to modify options aftermarket to our specifications. He was neither aggressive nor unavailable. I would rate his assistance as a salesperson as exemplary! Ultimately, we found our Jeep elsewhere and did not purchase from Koon's, but that is in no way to be interpreted in a negative way on either the dealership or on Mr. Stadler...in the future we would do business with both/either again!

As I parked my car at the dealership, there was a salesman already waiting to help me, and politely introduced himself. I didn't need to wander around the dealership for awhile to get my questions answered. I had a special pricing certificate from USAA, and Koons honored it without any hassle. The salesmen I worked with, Steve Bristow and Don Martin were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I didn't get the impression even once that they were trying to slide anything by me. From the internet sales manager, Pat Hennessy, to the salesmen I dealt with directly, to the finance manager Andy (I don't know his last name) everyone at Koons dealt with me in a friendly and straightforward manner. All of the paperwork was explained very clearly, and in a way that made me feel as if I knew exactly what was being done, and how. I would enthusiastically recommend this dealer to anyone interested in a Chrysler, Jeep, or Dodge.

I purchased a 2010 Town & Country in March 2011. It has been a pleasure to drive and I believe of the four Town & Country vans I have owned, it has the potential to be the best. It did however need some minor work to make it near perfect,and all was taken care of in a helpful, professional,and timely manor.There was only one small glitch in the van that most people would have overlooked,two intermittent creaking noises from the DVD compartments. I am a musician and can't stand any noises other than the music I am listening to.I thought by being so picky,I would be their worst nightmare.They were completely understanding and said there goal was to make me satisfied. The noise was so hard to pinpoint because it did not sound off when going over bumps,it could happen any time and sometimes would go a full day with nothing. Service Manager Greg Welch and his mechanic Jesse Ballinger were determined to get to the source of the problem. After an attempt to tighten down all the compartments,with some success of quieting the noises.They called to see how it was and I said that it was still making noises.They told me to bring it back and they replaced the entire panel at their cost eliminating the problem !! Fantastic service from Svc. Manager,Greg Welch and mechanic Jesse Ballinger who has done excellent work for me on two occasions. I recommend them highly.

Koons has absolutely lousy service and seems to be incompetent at repairing Jeeps. We spent $1500+ repairing the air conditioning on our 2003 Jeep in October 2010. The air conditioner failed again in May 2011. We took the vehicle back to Koons for a warranty repair - Koons half a ss ed the repair - three days later the air conditioner was broke again and blowing hot air instead of cold. Find another dealer or service provider.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the easy and friendly nature of Shaun Barnard, and everyone at Koons of Tysons. We new we wanted a minivan, and Shaun took the time to first hear what we were interested in, and then help us find the right combination of features. His knowledge of the vehicle, and what was important to a family in a minivan was apparent.No question was treated as unimportant, and no concern was too small for Shaun. We had come in to just briefly look, figuring the dealership would close soon for the night-- but Shaun, and much of the staff were still there at 11:00 pm when we walklked out.When I came to pick the car up, Shaun took the time to show me every part of the car-- I did not feel like I was being pushed out-- he really was focused on me, and any questions I had. Being a guy, I probably asked less questions than I should. Good thing that Shaun encouraged my wife to call any time with any question.Since age 16, I drove Dodges for 10 years, until switching to Saturn, which in the 90's was to me the best customer service for the dollar. But now I am a Chrysler fan, no a Koons Chrysler fan-- the amount of pride and dedication the folks in Tysons showed was staggering.Reading back on this, I could almost see someone thinking it was a planted review. But quality service is real, and my wife and I experienced it with Shaun Barnard, our financing rep Andy, and the manager (whose name escapes me, but he took the time to say hello and check on our experience several times) at Koons Chrysler Jeep of Tysons.J, father of three

Douglas was very accomodating and listened very well to what we wanted and did everything he could to get what we wanted. He is very friendly and listens to what a customer is looking for and not looking to just make a sale. I had a very long wait for our Finanical paperwork to get completed, but once we met Scott Moore the Finance man, the wait wasn't bad anymore and it was pretty much forgotten. The folks at Koons of Tysons Corner Jeep Dodge, are very nice and it was a friendly atmosphere and very clean. Douglas is great with finding what you are looking for by listening and going above and beyond. Scott Moore was very friendly, hilarious and very informative and concerned with our needs. My experience was pleasant and became a bit tiresome waiting a while, but with it being a holiday weekend, I did my best to be patient. After meeting Scott and walking away with our new jeep, it was all worth it. I would definetly recommend anyone to this dealer. I feel that I could actually trust them. =)

We bought our first Jeep in November of 2011, and we were very fortunate to get Shaun Barnard at Koons Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Tysons, Virginia as our sales rep.This is a guy who LOVES Jeeps, and he's forgotten more about them than we will ever learn. Even so, he is never condescending or impatient with first-timers; rather he is eager to share his enthusiasm for Jeeps and to share tricks and tips for helping us get the most out of our Wrangler Rubicon.We took it as a good sign that when he showed us how to work with the soft top, other salespeople in training were eager to help and learn from Shaun's expertise.Easygoing and personable, Shaun Barnard is that rare salesperson who knows how to make both his employer and his customer happy.We purchased our Jeep for cash, so the financing most dealerships might prefer was not on the table, but that did not affect the quality of attention we received in any way, before or after the sale. We can still call Shaun for advice, tips, or any general information, and he's as friendly and helpful as the day we first met him on the lot.We have a 16-year-old Ford Mustang conmvertible in excellent condition; we take very good care fo our cars. As a result, and given the quality and reliability of our Jeep in this first year, we don't foresee buying a new Jeep any time soon. However, if we do, we will go back to Koons purely on the strength of Shaun Barnard's character and professionalism.Our Jeep purchase has been the best car-buying experience

I came to Koons with some unique challenges in my desperate quest to purchase a new car. Fortunately, I was refered to Shaun Barnard by my fiance's coworker. From the moment I approached the dealership to the time I left, I constantly felt "at ease" with the quality and care that the staff provided me and my family. Somehow Koons Tysons Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram took the frustartion out of shopping for a new car. I enjoyed the experience and walked away feeling like I had been offered a great deal and treated as an individual with a pressing need and a unique circumstances as opposed to feeling like just another commission. We (my husband and I) had the best time there! And Jimmy Collier in finance called me back into the store 3 times (3 times!) to get a better rate - so he took his own time to shop around for me to get me a lower percentage rate on my loan and thus lower my monthly payment. I'm now paying less than $400 a month; I was paying over $800 for my trade-in. Koons didn't even ask to see a bank statement or a tax return (as I am self-employed, I usually have to show these). On top of all this great service we had a party there. It was just was "sitcom" after another - everyone is so nice and funny!!! So, who wouldn't want to go back to this car dealer? Even the receptionists are engaging and witty and talk to you like they know you and really care to know you....So, really, you'd be nuts not to buy a car from these people. P.S. My credit sucks and nobody made me feel bad about that either. So, go to this dealership. They will bend over backwards and jumps through hoops to help you and get you in a dependable car.

This the second review I have given on the purchase of my 2010 Chrysler Town & Country. That may sound like it is a negative thing ,but it is not. I understand that in the real world, a used vehicle,even one year old,will have a couple of issues.The MOST important factor is how the dealership {in this case Koon's of Tysons} handles it.In my last review I gave them an A+. I brought it back in for a couple of small scratches I had not noticed, and a compartment behind the rear view mirror that closed intermittently. Thanks to Greg Welch in the service department I left again with the van looking and operating like a new van. Don Rickettts, my salesman coordinated it for me and Greg did a great job.The most important thing is that the two times I brought the van back, I felt nothing but complete cooperation and a desire to make me totally happy. My husband had communicated via email with Sean at length regarding the type of Jeep we were looking for. Sean was very helpful and did his best to accommodate us. Once we got to the dealership, and decided to purchase the Jeep, the process went pretty smoothly. Sean worked with us on the trade-in price for our old Jeep, we got excellent financing rates, and the entire process did not take an extremely long time. The only gripe I have is that it started to rain 2 minutes after we left the dealership in my nice, clean Jeep!

I chose to bring my 2001 Chrysler 300M to the Koons Service Center, since local repair shops had become unreliable and the rates were no longer a bargain. I have not looked back. Greg Welch, my service coordinator, is proactive, attentive and knowledgeable. He has not failed to live up to any commitment that he makes. My car now has over 205,000 miles, which I relate to being a well built car and the quality of service at Koons Chrysler. When I drop off my car for repair, I have come to expect dependable service at a fair price, and that is what I consistently receive. I purchased a 2010 Chrysler Town & Country {Touring} 3-28-11 from Koon's of Tysons,VA used cars. I was first directed to Brian Murray The GM who assured me he would put me in great hands as he introduced me to Don Ricketts, one of the most helpful and courteous salesman I have ever come across.Brian Murray gave me his word that when I left his dealership, I would be 100% happy. The Van being a year and a half old had a couple of glitches; creaks in the doors a couple of tiny scratches in the beautiful metalic paint job. In one day after the purchase, Brian told me to bring it in to be fixed. Troy Riley took over in the service Dept. and went over the Van with a fine tooth comb, doing a couple of things on his own to avoid ANY future issues. I was given a brand new SUV to drive while they worked on my van. If I was happy at first, I was thrilled when I got my van back. All the while I was constantly kept updated on the status by Don Ricketts and when I called not being able to reach Don,a salesman,Shaun Barnard was extremely helpful even though it was not his sale. This is Excellent service as far as I am concerned, and I am in sales and cust. svc. myself which is why I give credit where credit is due.Brian Murray is a man of his word. Got my jeep serviced there 3x, they're always trying to sell you services you don't need, very unpolite and bad at fixing things - I came back with the same problem 3x...the last time I had to wait for 5 hours for an oil change - I was promised the service was gonna be completed in 30 minutes.

Looking for the new Jeep Grand Cherokee. Shaun was great, knew the product inside and out. Before we drove a car, he took the time to talk with me and to understand what I wanted and what I needed. Then he showed me several Grand Cherokee's and I ended up buying the dark red one after the demo drive. Price was ok, manager was easy to deal with and Kelly in finance was friendly and did not put a lot of pressure on me when I declined the extended warranty.This is the second Cherokee for me and I drove the wheels off the last one. Hope to do the same with this one.One last item, the delivery took about an hour. Shaun made sure that I knew how to opperate the car, and when I called with a question on the navigation system a few days later, he invited me back and we went over the navigation system again.

TL;DR: Car wasn't fixed. Don't bother with the service form on the website. The only method of communication is through phone.Context: The electronic trottle control light on the dashboard of my mother's Chrysler Pacifica came on so I went to Koons to get this resolved. The car is important as it is my mother's only means of commuting to work. I was taking my own time off work to take the car for service during the weekday.History:We had this exact same problem occur about a year or so ago. It was "fixed" here so I brought it back.6/23, (trip #1) Arrived with car after making an appointment. Since the ETC light comes on intermittently and it came on while I drove up to service counter, I was told to leave the car running. Car was examined and found to have a faulty computer. Another appointment was made to install the part when it came in. They used up half a tank of gas during this examination with no notice or compensation.7/6, (trip #2) Arrived on the date the appointment was made. Waited about an hour before the service advisor told me that the computer had not come in yet. Asked them to call me when they got the part to set up another appointment.7/9, I get an automated email saying the part had arrived. After a couple days, I call to set up an appointment.(trip #3) The computer was replaced but I was told another part of the pedal became bad.7/24, I got another autmoated email saying the part had arrived. Used the website form for service to set up an appointment. After a few days with no confirmation, I called to confirm - only to find out the appointment was never made. Managed to make an appointment anyway.7/29, (trip #4) The pedal part was replaced. 20 minutes after taking the car out of the lot, the ETC light came on.Frustrated, I left a voicemail on the most recent service advisor, asking him to call me back the same day.8/11, I have not heard from anyone as of this day.While the service advisors were pleasant in personality for the most part, NOTHING WAS FIXED. This is VERY disappointing.

You would have to be out of your mind to deal with these people. Inquired online,said response would be within 24 hours, none. Called next day, made an offer. Salesman called next morning gave quote, accepted. Told him I would be there at lunch. He agreed. Arrived, and was told someone else was writing a contract. Complained, told "too Bad" they did not care at all. Bait and switch. Koons is the leader in giving use car salesmen the poor reputation they deserve. Horrendous operation.

Naser was sweet on the phone, convinced me to drive to Virginia to see a vehicle and that there was "no difference between buying in MD or VA".... None except an additional $300 to buy in VA compared to MD. Lie #1. I told him UPFRONT that I am in an open bankruptcy, but have permission in writing from the court to purchase a vehicle. I told him I am pre-approved from Drive Financial (which I know is like being in bed with the devil...and that they actually CHARGE DEALERSHIPS to give ME a loan. I told him this. "We are bigger than Carmax....we will make it work" said Naser. He told me they can finance anyone.I drove 40 mins to VA, drove the car, and since I had been looking for awhile, knew that I wanted to make a deal. I open up my entire financial life to them with every piece of paperwork because they can "get anyone financed."Well, TWO HOURS LATER, and trying to AVOID me....the car salesman who had just handed me a ROSE (YEs, a ROSE) when I walked in (it happened to be my birthday) wasn't even being straight with me.I asked to speak to the used car manager, who is Jim. He wasn't friendly in the least, and actually acted like I was a bother. He told me he would LOSE money on the car, and he wasn't going to do it, etc..Bottom line is, they said they would "try" to go through my approved loan, but when I called JIM this morning, he didn't even know if the finance person even TRIED any of their dozens and dozens of banks. "That's their department." Yet he seemed to know that Drive had not given them an answer yet.To add INSULT to INJURY....when I told "JIM MILTON" how much I liked that car, he had the NERVE to say, "Yeah, it is...I DROVE IT HOME LAST NIGHT."SO KRISTAL KOONS and your PHONY COMMERCIALS....take heed......I made the mistake of waiting until I was in your TYSON DEALERSHIP before I looked you up on dealerrater.OTHERS WON'T....and guess what they will be reading....your score of 1.7 out of 5.YOU AND YOUR DEALERSHIP WILL EVENTUALLY FAIL because the word gets around that youLIE.LIE.And are as phony as the commercials. If you care about your personal reputation, you might change the way your dealership is run. Don't hand me a phony rose and then as soon as you have to match your ads, treat me as though I am a piece of garbage.

I traded my vehicle in for one of their vehicles the first time and it was a great deal. Within a month in the vehicle I was looking for a bigger SUV and we found one. Deal was done on the vehicle on 12 Dec and my next payment was due in 6 days. If you sign a contract you generally expect the company to send a payoff check in a day or so. Also, I was delinquent on my upcoming payment 11 days. It took 19 days for KOONS to do a payoff. Three personnel kept telling me the payoff check was mailed and it never was. Or the person who processes the payoff is gone early or not in.What lead me up to this discovery was when I called GMAC to check my account they didn't have me listed in the system and their only answer to me was it was the Christmas holidays and check back in a week or so. I went to the dealer and called numerous times until it took the manager to tell me it will be sent off on Monday or Tuesday and it never was sent to the payroll department. New Year's Eve it took me going to the dealership and also having them send me a fax just to confirm it was sent.It seemed as though KOONS was only concerned about the sell at the end of the month and nothing but lies. I was able to find a dealer with better prices and a better deal with honesty.

Do not buy from this dealership. Shop around for one that does not price gouge the customers. They are taking advantage of the CARS government program by adding what they call a Market Value Increase of $2000 to the MSRP of their vehicles. They are also charging higher than average processing fees. We waited for over two hours to receive the financial paperwork that was $2500 higher than expected. Artie (the manager) had the nerve to act like we had wasted his time when we chose not to accept their extra fees. We walked out of the shop and went to Maryland to buy a car.

Total joke of an experience. Test drove car and asked price. Was told by sale associate that it would be as much as 40% below sticker becuase it was an 08 model. Returned to showroom, produced requested information and waited three hours for someone to provide the cost of the car.After opting to leave from waiting too much time I was directed to speak with Artie. I was told that he was working hard to get "top dollar for my trade in" I asked directly how much the car was going to cost and what top dollar meant. "Could mean six thousand, thirty five hundred, nine grand" Exact words. After walking out and returning 5 mins later because I really wanted the car, I was told that he would personally sit down with me and go over the numbers that they had worked out.The numbers were this. The car I wanted (an 08) 3500 below invoice (the incentive that Chrysler was currently running and they would give me enough for my trade in to close the loan. After looking at the number, and asking if he ran my credit I was told that I qualified for 0% financing. I requested that they start working on the paper work and while they did, I checked to confirm my suspicions on KellyBlueBook.com (using their internet access:) ) and found that the car they were selling to me was 2k over the price listed for a car in excellent condition.I printed the listing and handed it to them and told them I wanted that price. "I've given you the best price I can, right down to the dime"Funny, there wasn't a dime listed in the supposed price I was given.

I went looking for a jeep that would be in my price range. I found the service very helpful, but not very knowlegable. I found that i knew more about the car i wanted to buy than the sales rep knew.I was somewhat mad that he couldnt answer the questions i had concerning the cars i was interested in. I went to another dealership and found the sales representitives much more knowlegable

I brought my 03 Jeep Liberty to two other jeep dealers over the years with complaints that there was something wrong with the tranmission for years from my first regular maintaince call. It was getting worse and worse, but the other Virginia dealers --Heritage in Alexandria and Rosenthal in Arlington -- would say, things like "Jeeps are trucks and trucks have tranmissions that shift hard". Near the end of my warranty, i tried one last time, and Tysons was great. Haven't had any problems since. They did extensive work, replacing the electronic control, and didn't charge me for any of it. It's been great for almost a year now. Except for one crappy person who took my paperwork, my experience there was great. They even called me afterward to find out if I was happy.I just check my maintaince logs because i'm selling it, and I noticed Rosenthal even charged me for off road service I didn't need.

I purchased a new Chrysler 300 from this location, it was the car I wanted with more features than I wanted for less than I thought I would pay. But, I wanted a navigation system added, and I requested the flagship MyGig system. They told me to bring it back in a couple days and the system would be installed as requested. I brought it in, they gave me a rental car and finished the install in the same day. But, the navigation system they put in my car was not the MyGig system, I immediately requested the error be fixed. I was then told that that system was only installed in '08 models of the 300, this of coarse was not mention when I requested the system and they agreed to add it. I talked to several managers at Koons, supervisors and managers at Chrysler's corporate office and got the run around. Note that I asked for one of two resolutions to this problem: put the system I requested in or remove the system I did not request and refund my money. Both of these are obviously reasonable, I was not asking for anything free or extra because of their error, just what I paid for or my money back. I took this one step further and contacted the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint. After a couple rounds of back and forth between Chrysler, they resulted to lying to the BBB and the case was closed as resolved with the customer unsatisfied. Needless to say I will never do business with Konns again but do to the lack of corporate support I can not see myself doing business with Daimler Chrysler ever again either.

The worst experience I have ever encountered. Fortunately, we were able to disect their lies before completing the sale and left the dealership without looking back. Incompetent, dishonest, and unfriendly.You will definitely gamble with your money if you deal with these people. And it will not be in your favor if you sign the dotted line.

I purchased a 2006 Trailblazer through the dealership. At the final purchase, I was charged for Gap Coverage and was told that they would also pay the deductable if anything should happen. I read the fine print and it explicitly said otherwise. I also bought the paint and dent coverage at that time. Since then (approx. 4 months) I had to return for service and I was told that the paint and dent coverage was only for manufacturer defects and did not cover anything else. Both of these show a total lack of knowledge on their part.A defective battery had to be replaced as it was leaking. The engine compartment was not cleaned and as a result the power steering lines were corroded and rusted. I was told these will not be replaced even though the battery was defective. Through all this, I have been to the dealership 5 times (of which 3 were a waste because when I showed up at the "scheduled" time, I was told to come back because I wasn't on the schedule. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I have brought my vehical to Tysons repeditivley. I have had nothing but problems with the quality of work since the my first service visit to their service department. I would not recomend them to anyone I know, and I know that Chrysler would not approve of their name being presented as it is there.

This is old info but saw latest review so it doesn't look like anything has changed. Took car in for warranty covered repairs three times -each time they kept saying brakes were bad (not covered of course). But never trusted them and never had brakes replaced. Well, lo and behold the car passed 5 annual Virginia safety inspections during that time period.

Did not perform brake service requested under warranty when warranty was expiring. Came back, told warranty had expired and that I had to pay for service out of pocket. Service not performed correctly. Had to have service redone at another dealership. Plenty friendly but they don't deliver on repairs and they don't honor commitments made in advance.
