BEWARE! The entire experience was a complete nightmare! To my unknowing there was fraudulent activity going on in the dealership that I was unaware of and only found out AFTER I bought the car. They may seem nice and want to help you out but it is a trick to scam you!

I was looking for a used truck and after going to three other dealerships was very pleased with the service I received here. My sales person was very helpful and even willing to go to Lakeside's other locations till I found the right truck for me. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I am big on customer service and long term relationships. My expectation for purchasing a car is that everything works as it should, a good price and to be respected as a customer. That is not the case with this dealership. This dealership appears to want the single sale. I found a couple cars I liked here, ended up negotiating a good deal. Salesman was decent, and respectful. I found a couple of issues with the car after the sale. GM said I got too much of a negotiated discount to warrant them fixing any issues with the car. He ended up walking away from me as we talked. I don't think I was unreasonable. I knew the brakes were bad and needed work, but I did not know the tire pressure monitors didn't work, or the windshield washers were broken too. I only asked that those 2 things be repaired within 10 days of the sale.

Mr.Sam Hicks was an amazing help in finding me exactly what I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. He was very supportive of the military and didn't beat around the bush when it came to the vehicles. We looked at 2 amazing trucks and by the 2nd one he had me hooked. He is a great car dealer and I will recommend all of my friends to the lakeside auto dealership, and personally to mr.hicks.

A used Jeep was purchased from Lakeside by a young [low ranking]military man that was operating on a strict budget. After he left the dealership he had a problem with the vehicle steering. He went back to dealership seeking help for a problem that they could have fixed for very little money but he was denied any help. If they treat military people, who serve our country, that way then how do you think they will treat you after the sale?

I went to Lakeside Auto Brokers to look for a new car. I have had negative experiences in the past, and was very hesitant about the process of buying a car to say the least. I went to Lakeside, and had the good fortune of meeting Jose Hernandez who was very helpful, considerate of my needs and my budget, and made the entire process painless. I would recommend Lakeside, and definitely ask for Jose. He was very honest, and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought my car with the promise of work to be done in writing. My car went over a month without service done and they had my car for over 8 hours for two new tires. Then I was told I had to make time on another day for the rest of the work to be done. This is very unprofessional service. They just keep pushing it off until people get tired of waiting and give up.

just bought a truck from these guys and they were very friendly until I found an oil leak on the truck and told them I would not purchase it unless they fixed so I purchased it and than after a week the whole truck stopped working do to a negligence of there mechanic nor putting the battery cables on tight enough it destroyed the alternator buy running on just battery power after telling them they have yet to get back to me

A few mornings ago, I had trouble starting my car for two mornings in a row; this NEVER happens, However, I possibly had left the lights on somewhere in the car (front or interior), and the battery simply ran down. The second time the AAA guy came, he tested my battery with some device, and he asked me "how old is this battery? I had no idea, but I called Beau Cline on my cell, since he had sold us the car several years ago. I drove over to Lakeside auto and got the information on were to go to get a new battery which I did immediately.In under an hour later, my new one was speedily installed; so I figure I am good for six more years on this new one :) . One call was all it took. Thanks so much for your speedy and affordable help!

I bought a 2004 Volvo from Lakeside Auto and paid with cash. Ty was my salesman and I made it clear I needed a safe SUV that would be good in snow because my other SUV had been totaled in an injury accident weeks before. I trusted Lakeside with the money my insurance company paid me and I shouldn't have. The Volvo I bought was making a noise in the front end, which they assured me wasn't a big problem and would be repaired. Lakeside agreed to fix the Volvo but they did not do it right. The actual sound is gone, although it is actually the rack and pinion steering that is the problem. After I'd already paid for the SUV, Lakeside sent it to their mechanic for the "repair". A week and a half later it was time to pick it up so Ty took me to drop off my rental car, and then to the mechanic shop to get the Volvo. The Volvo was a dirty mess, (Ty had mentioned it would be detailed and cleaned up) and smelled of oil or grease. Ty started the SUV and backed it out for me, put the temporary tags on it, shook my hand, and left. I got in to drive it home and the SUV ran out of gas just a few blocks away, leaving me stranded on a busy, 6 lane road in busy traffic. Ty wouldn't answer his phone. After a friend rescued me, I called Ty, who answered after the fourth time I had to try him, and he blamed it on the mechanic shop, stating they must have ran all the gas out of it. The more I drive the car afterward, the more it is coming apart. The CD player and the sunroof both quit within weeks. The 3rd row seats will not lay down now. My mechanic said a temporary fix had been installed to stop the sound in the front end but it was just a Band-Aid. The steering will cost nearly $4500 and I do not feel safe driving it. Do not trust this dealership.

When I walked onto the parking lot of Lakeside Auto Brokers 07/15/14, I was greeted by a very nice, personable salesman named Jeremy. He was very open and pleasant. I felt sure that I would get the best service with him, which I did. He showed me two very nice cars, then had to leave for a previously scheduled apptmt. He, kindly, drove me home, then came back to get me a few hrs. later. The car he pulled up in was not one of the cars he had previously shown me, so I was a little surprised when he got out of the car and offered to let me drive it back to the dealership. It was a gorgeous, black Nissan Altima, so I happily agreed. Once we got back to the lot, Jeremy asked me how I liked the car. I told him I loved it. It was beautiful. Something I could only imagine having when I was in a better financial situation. He smiled at me and said, "Dawn, this is YOUR new car!" All I could do for a few moments was stand there with my mouth open. Haha. When I came back to my senses, we went back into the dealership to work out all of the details, and I left with my luxurious new vehicle. I would definitely recommend Lakeside Auto Brokers to anyone in search of a car. The atmosphere was very professional, yet fun. Everyone was so nice, and I am just so grateful to Jeremy for the strings he pulled to make my buying experience a positive and successful one.

found these people most helpful and friendly , they went above and beyond to help me long distance to make the deal to purchase my van . The vehicle I found when I arrived was all and more than what I was promised I couldn't be more happy with my vehicle or the customer service that I received the experience was quick , efficient and very friendly . The dealership was clean as a whistle , very nice , my only complaint would be there was hardly enough gas to take a test drive .

My daughter and son in law traded in their car put a thousand dollars down on a van and filled out the paper work a month ago and was just told they cant have the van that they have to bring it back, after they have already taked their car and deposit for the van. They were told yesturday that they were all good to go, and now this! Buyer be aware

This is one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had!! Went to the 8th Street location & worked with Billy, he made me feel relaxed, at home & totally in control of my own choices. He was very knowledgeable about every car that I looked at, plus I didn't feel all pressured like some of the other places I'd went to in the past. Every person I came across there seemed to really care about me as a customer & was friendly as can be. I'd defiantly recommend Lakeside Auto Brokers to anyone looking for a GREAT DEAL & AWESOME SERVICE!!

My wife and I recently tried buying a car from a big name dealership in town and had a painful experience. They kept telling us what we should buy since we had good credit and money down, not hearing what we wanted to buy. I wanted a smaller and more personal experience and Lakeside Auto Brokers gave it to me. We went to the location by Famous Daves BBQ and Christopher helped us, who was awesome and got us driving the car WE wanted. Bringing our daughter in for a car next month too.

I went to the one on 8th street. The staff was very helpful and did not pressure in any way. I was going through a difficult situation, they were extremely sympathetic and said no problem they were here to help! They gave me several cars to choose from and was patient while I drove each one and made up my mind. The sales staff was truly excellent and the finance man was friendly and professional and put me at ease. I have had no problems with my car and absolutely recommend them to everyone! Thanks Lakeside Auto for a wonderful experience and especially thanks to Rex the sales guy and Beau the finance manager...you guys rock!

I tried to get a quote for a vehicle I wanted to trade over the phone, they called me back but I was busy at the time and told him to call me that night. He never did, and then on my email they asked if I had any unresolved questions and I wrote them about the quote and still never got an answer, even after emailing them pix of the vehicle I wanted the quote for. They just don't care about customers!!!

My SIL bought a car from this dealership a month ago and has had nothing but problems. The oil pan had to be replaced twice, actually the first time they said they were putting a new one on, they didn't they just patched the old one, poorly I might add and we caught it. Then the transmission went out. $3000 in repairs. That's a third of what the car is worth and of course Lakeside has just shrugged their shoulders. They successfully sold a piece of junk and made their money. I will tell ll my friends to avoid these scammers.

DO NOT BUY a CAR FROM HERE! These guys are crooks! My husband bought a dodge from them and the day after we brought it home we have had nothing but problems. They punctured the oil pan and then took us to a mechanic who "fixed it" buy DUCT TAPING it...we told lakesde about it, they sent us to the same mechanic and the problem was never fixed. After talking to them for several days they finally took us to another mechanic to fix the problem, only to tell us they would only pay half for the fix. About 2 weeks later, the freaking transmission went out and is going to cost us 3,000$ to fix. And now they are gong to "see what they can do," My husband hasn't even had his truck for a month, and our first car payment isn't even due yet. Don't waste your time or money at this JOKE of a place.
