Danet Leyba- Went above and beyond to assist me. I drove four hours to pick up my Jeep Cherokee and contacted Danet to send me pictures of the used Jeep and to conduct a walk around of the vehicle with notes on any damage that existed. Danet was very transparent throughout the whole process and was very upfront. Danet also made the communication process easy by responding with text messages to questions which in present day is the streamlined form of communication. Placed a deposit on the vehicle so that it would be pulled off the lot and held for me. Danet made the process streamlined and very pleasurable. Danet gave us space to ensure we made the right decision and also had the vehicle reconditioned again and spruced up to our expectations. She not once hesitated to go the extra mile to earn our business. Chris Allan- Went above and beyond for me, he looked into the pricing for the warranty I purchased. He shared his past experience with the warranty, his knowledge and his recommendation. He also took additional time to ensure my financing needs and requests were fulfilled. Chris went above and beyond to welcome us to the McLarty family by obtaining Jeep hats for the both of us and we even had a guy in the building give us a voucher for a free dinner after inquiring about places to eat. Chris really sealed the deal with the time and effort and again transparency with conversations we had. Chris is the finance director but went out of his way to assist us when it wasn't his exact job requirement as a director to do so. He ensured we were comfortable while waiting to get into the fiance office to fill paperwork out and ensured the process moved very smoothly.It's not everyday you hear of a dealership offering the best prices, the best customer service and a deal you feel happy with when walking away. This dealership has the most competitive prices within a 500-mile radius. Will be returning down the road to make another purchase due to the experience. They fight to get you the best APR rate on your vehicle purchase and inform you of every step in the process.

A small review like this doesn't do justice for the customer service that Henry provided my wife and me. I was in contact with him for several months trying to find a "unicorn" of a Wrangler for my wife. Henry would ask his associates and inventory managers daily if that specific Wrangler was anywhere to be found. I finally got the call early this week that he had found it. This is the 3rd car that my family has bought from Henry and each time I will say that it has been the best car buying experience I could have asked for. Not only did he search extensively, but he stayed until around 10:00pm to show us the specifics of the interior after we had finished signing paperwork. I cannot recommend him highly enough for anyone's car buying experience. His patience with us and persistence to find the perfect vehicle was world-class. We will definitely be back to work with Henry Steedley and Landers Jeep in the future.

We drove a long way to see the exact Jeep that I wanted (a 75th Anniversary Cherokee in green), and Tay pulled it off the truck for us with no questions asked. He and everyone at the dealership treated us like family and we would go back there in a heart beat. Of course in our excitement they forgot one or two little things that made the next week a worrisome one. I would still recommend them without question, just check the temporary tags are on the vehicle before you leave. :-) I must add that Tay was VERY sick that day, and he still stayed with us, so I can forgive almost any oversight.

If I could have, I would have taken Tay home with us to be a part of our family. What a smart, kind, and honest, personable young gentleman he certainly is. When you learn how responsible he is, you'll understand why he is the outstanding, humble person he is. Fun too. It's strange to say, but I enjoyed every moment of the purchasing process. I came to this Alabama dealership from Tennessee. I could not find a better deal in my state that came remotely close to competing, and even though an exceptional promotional sale had ended a few days prior to my contacting the Landers McLarty dealership, Tay was able to get me the sale price regardless...on a brand new car! What dealership does that?! Tay even bought me a hat from his own money while I was there looking at the hats...he would not let me pay. He went out of his way, every chance he could, even called to wish me a Happy Birthday a couple weeks later. I am not an overly emotional person, and I cannot say enough good things about Latavyn (Tay) Johnson.

Cringing at the thought of having to take your car to the dealership for service is no longer an issue for me thanks to the great folks at Landers McLarty Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. I have a Jeep Wrangler and a Ram 1500 and I will only take them to Landers McLarty. Here's why: 1. Friendly Service Personnel - Derek Smith has been nothing short of fantastic! He reminds me when services are due, educated me on the various service plans that Landers McLarty offers, and ALWAYS gives me the best possible pricing for service up front so there is no sticker shock when I come to pick up the car. Derek also calls me on his day off when he knows I have a vehicle in maintenance and doesn't pass me off to other service reps who are working that day. Finally, Derek was able to work with me on several issues where he was able to cover under warranty or good faith saving me hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the course of time that I have lived in Huntsville. For this alone, I will not take my car to any other dealer for service. 2. Pricing Ive shopped around and Landers McLarty has the best pricing when it comes to Oil Change Service Plans and on factory AND aftermarket parts and accessories. I cant find a cheaper synthetic oil change plan at any of the quick change shops or buying the oil and doing it myself in Huntsville. When I shopped the internet and surrounding cities (Nashville) for tires for the Ram and the Jeep, I found that Landers BEAT everyones price for install, road hazard, and warranty. These were even on name brand (Kevlar) oversized (37) mud terrain tires. 3. Service The main reason why I take my vehicle in to Landers McLarty is that they do great work and it is backed by their team of professionals and the Dodge, Jeep brand. Things get done right the first time. On two occasions Ive come in for a check engine light and both times they were able to scan it and put me back on the road after assessing with no charge at all. I tell all my Jeep and Dodge friends about Landers. I even tell folks who dont own Jeeps or Dodges to go see them for oil changes or tires. They have truly earned a customer for life.

I was looking online to buy a new Ram 2500, after locating one at a dealer down South and putting a deposit they ended up selling it right from under me. I then found one at another dealer, told them what i wanted and i didn't even get a follow up call after waiting over 3 days!!! I then found the right truck in stock at Landers McLarty Dodge and called and spoke to Ray Horne. I told him what truck I wanted, he told me the discounted price, gave me a great deal for my trade and was able to negotiate the deal in about 10 MINUTES!!! That is how it should be!!! I've had my 2013 Dodge Avenger R/T for about 6 months now and I still fall in love every time I go to drive it. I would like to take a moment to say Danny Justin was the very best auto salesman I have ever had. I have purchased 7 new cars and he was the Tops over them all. I stopped by about 6 months ago and asked for a brochure on the Subaru Forester in 2014. Danny ran inside for me, as it was a very cold day and got one immediately. Last week I was finally ready to buy and Danny was the first one to greet me in the showroom. he was so friendly and really knew his products. He did not show me anything I was not interested in and explained all the new features of the 2015 models. He was able to get me a 2015 Blue Forester as one was not available on the lot in the color/version we wanted in just one day. When it arrived he took on personal responsibility to ensure it was ready when my wife and I arrived to buy. He even explained all the features again to my wife. My husband and I were in the market to trade in our truck on a Dodge Challenger. We got there Saturday around lunch time, couldn't hardly find anywhere to park, there were no salesmen greeting as at the door, we had to ask for someone to help us. The guy we got was new but very helpful. Then came the time to do the credit check and all that. We talked to Joe, he gave us a buyers order and told us to go to our bank monday and he would call us first thing Monday morning to let us know what he hears back from their banks. Monday lunch time rolls around and we didn't hear anything from anyone so my husband calls him. He says that he will call him right back once he finishes the deal he is working on. Monday 4:30 rolls around and he still hasn't called back so my husband calls him AGAIN, he tells us he can't get the payments where we want them. We then received a letter in the mail Tuesday from one of their banks saying they don't want to take on the loan. My problem is Joe never told us that! And didn't return phone calls. That's a bad way to do business.

I Purchased my RAM 1500 in 2011 from Landers McLarty. Hear is what I have been unhappy about. The first issue was when I purchased the truck I stipulated that I was buying the truck to pull a trailer of about 8,000 pounds. The salesman recommended the 1500 Crew Cab with the Hemi. While the engine has more than enough power, when I first pulled a U-haul car trailer and 58 Thunderbird both weighing about 6090 pounds. I was not happy, I definitely should have gone with the 2500. The next issue was that I purchased a spray in bedliner, and Landers Mclartly never scheduled to have my truck completed. At which time the amount I paid for the liner was $100.00 more than the cost of the Liner of LM never returned the overage. I recently stopped in looking for a new 4 door Wrangler Rubicon, with a standard Transmission listed on the Internet Website but it wasn't there. I gave them my information of which they already had since I purchased my truck there to call me when they had a jeep come in that matched the items that I wanted, but they never called me back. So recently I received a phone call stating that my truck had a recall on the Rear axle Pinion nut. The notifications told me to call a DODGE/RAM corporate number to schedule an appointment and validate the parts would be available. I called the number and they past me to the Customer Service of LM which the service person validated the part was available and asked me what time I wanted to bring the truck in for service. I told them 23 December 2014 at 0700. Knowing this was a normal drop of time anyway I believed my vehicle would be completed without issues. I was the first vehicle their and was assured I would be taken care of. By noon I had not heard anything and called the Service Department, I was told they could not find the part and my truck would not be completed until the end of the day. I picked up my truck and at 16:00 and expressed that I was unhappy as I had made an appointment and was assured the item was available, I asked if there was a survey or something that I could fill out, but was told I may receive something in e-mail. Fast forward to 26 December 2014, I received a call on my answering machine that goes into a loop to press a button or enter a response if I was happy or dissatisfied with my Service. What a Crock.

We showed up at 8:10am on a Saturday morning. The man who checked in the car said he would get everything taken care of. Which happen to be an oil change, check a leaking tire and I had an air bag light on. 11/2 hrs later he came out and said I thought you were coming back later to pick it up. Its not put in as you waiting but I'll get it taken care of. Finally after 41/2 hrs and my boyfriend getting very impatient with the customer service guy. We got the car and with an oil change no repaired tire and told the drivers side airbag was repaired and it was recall work fixed incorrectly. And also some smart remarks from the guy like 4 1/2 hrs of waiting was our fault and we had no right to be aggravated. I bought the car at your dealership but next time after this experience I guess I can find another place who might appreciate my business and treat customers better.

My experience at Subaru was EXCELLENT! Adrian was an outstanding salesman. He was professional, helpful, and a jack of all trade. He was all over the dealership performing multiple tasks from mechanic to detailing. He personally washed my vehicle, cleaned the engine and went as far as going to the gas station to put air in one of the tires that was low. He went beyond the call of duty to satisfy me and my family. He's a keeper! We need more salesmen like Adrain. Thanks Adrian!!! Bill in the Finance Department was AWESOME! It was the best thing that has ever happened to me. Purchasing an affordable vehicle had seemed to be impossible for me until I landed my search at LMDCJ. The impeccable service and personable attention to detail stunned me. I was even more surprised when I found out that the owner was in the building on a daily basis and was immediately introduced to him in the midst of his busy office schedule. Frank Williams not only took the time to meet me but spent time diffusing the anxiety I was feeling about meeting with the finance department and signing the many forms that can usually be intimidating and eerie. He assured me that he would 'be there' for me if I ran into any concerns and he kept his word. It was because of his customer service as well as his entire time (from the service department to the sales department, to the finance department, receptionists, and even the cashier), the employees were exceptional with customer care. I was on my way to purchase a different car, from a different dealership, and decided that I just wanted to look at the Suburu Outback before I paid. My mom and I looked up the local Suburu dealership, and headed out for a cursory overview. When we parked, Adrian Koby came out and greeted us, and was SO positive, even when I was snippy and fearful. I told him I was not here to buy a car, but wanted to look at an Outback, so he let me get my yacking out. Then, he revealed his genuine caring and knowledge. He asked me how I used my car, and what I really wanted (red, hot butt, and room for my dogs' crate). As he talked to me, I found myself sharing my difficult situation, both emotionally and financially, and he asked if he could show me other options that might work better for me. He spent time explaining what made Suburu unique, and what that might mean for me. We looked at several cars, and I found that the Forester really was better for my situation, and I agreed to a drive. Adrian When we got back, we asked for their "out the door" pricing, That is when we met Brian. He explained everything so clearly, that I felt completely at ease, and my every question was answered with honesty and transparency. I am a recently widowed woman, have a new job requiring travel, and need a reliable car with aftercare service, so he also explained the options for an extended warranty. Everything was detailed, and provided in writing. I felt safe and at ease with these two men, and they really changed my view of purchasing a vehicle. I drove my new Forester home that afternoon, confident that I had begun a new relationship with an honest and trustworthy team to take care of my transportation needs.

I took my 99 Durango to have computer programmed. They kept it for nearly a month. When we went to pick it up was told it was "un-fixable". It was in good shape when I dropped it off, it had wires unhooked everywhere and the coil pack was busted. Long story short, a new computer was ordered (by us), my husband put it on and it cranked right up. I hope the techs that supposedly worked on mine never have that kind of service offered to them.

INTERNET BUYERS MUST READ THIS! If you are an internet buyer....LOOK!. I located the 300C I wanted on the internet through Chrysler. I call them and spoke to JODIE (Internet Sales) to confirm the car was there. I told her I had a 2011 300C to trade. I described the car over the phone. She spoke to JOSH (Sales Mgr.) and called me right back with the trade difference. I was skeptical because it was $3000 LESS then my local dealers had quoted on the same car. After I confirmed the difference out the door, I decided to make the drive. I drove over 700 miles round trip to trade HERE. These people can be TRUSTED! This was my first experience with this Dealership. They delivered me on July 4th, and even though the detail shop was closed, Phillip (my delivery salesman) washed my car. Don (Finance) whipped up my paperwork and the delivery was done! JUST AS PROMISED! ALL this was done in less than 24 hours after I found the car on the internet, and that included the drive. This was an EASY transaction, and their word is GOLDEN! I will buy here again. Large Dealership with a Small HOMETOWN feel.......JODIE and JOSH you were GREAT to work with!

After becoming repeatedly irritated with the previous dealership, primarily their service dept, I was reluctant to return even under new ownership. However, after visiting a couple of others I went by to look and have been very glad I did. We went there 2.5 years ago to just look at new Jeep Grand Cherokees, and found the salesman (Willie White) that had sold us our previous 2 along with the salesman (Allan Smith) that sold us our first Cherokee in '93. We left that day with not only a new GC, but also a new Challenger. Wille and the entire sales staff were great, and while it took from about 10:30 until 7:30 to conduct all business, it was pleasant, relaxing, and even sometimes entertaining. A little over a year later, we went with our son who purchased a new Challenger Redline and the experience was just as pleasant. We have all been thrilled with our vehicles, and I readily tell folks the Challenger is the best vehicle I've ever owned. Now on to service...what a surprise a new dealership can make. Most of the time they are much quicker than expected, but on occasion it may take a little longer or more than one visit due to the complexity of vehicles today. The service area is quite comfortable, and if Willie or Allan see me they drop by to say "hi". I had always changed the oil in my vehicles, but since a number of oil changes were included with our vehicle I am now spoiled and will continue to take it there for changes. I also recently bought tires; they received them in 2 days (previous purchases at Sam's Club or Costco have taken a week or more to arrive). On a Saturday, they had the tires installed, oil changed, and an alignment job done in about 2 hours. Plus, they were cheaper on the same Michelin tires than either wholesale club, and even with the alignment the bill was cheaper than it would have been for just the tires elsewhere. I have told many since then to check with them before buying tires. I have never been a fan of dealerships, and except for Willie and Allan (both of whom earned and kept our trust) I haven't really trusted the salesmen. This dealership has proven to be the exception; I have yet to find anyone in sales, service, or parts that isn't professional, polite, and genuinely makes the customer feel part of the dealership "family". Would I recommend the vehicles we own? Absolutely. Would I recommend this dealership for sales or service? Definitely, and I do quite often. As the subject line states...I went in as a skeptic that after a lifetime of only owning Chrysler-related products I was wanting to change, and I left with 2 new vehicles and a renewed faith in those vehicles and the dealership. When the time comes to get new vehicles, I won't even consider going somewhere else first.

My Husband and I visited the Subaru dealership wanting to drive a Crosstrek. We were greeted by Sarah Mcclellan and she offered to show us around. She was so friendly and easy to work with. She let us drive the Crosstrek and then after spending a little time with us and hearing what we were looking for in a car, recommended that we also try driving a Forrester. This ended up being the best advice because in the end we decided to buy a Forrester. We loved it! Best of all, there was no pressure to buy. Sarah spent a long time with us, in the evening and even after hours, to let us look and poke around in several cars. She didn't seem hurried or bothered by our questions... and never once was there mention of 'let me get my sales manager' or 'what would it take to get you in a car today.' Honestly, my husband had long ago come to hate car dealerships for this very reason. But we were allowed to test drive what we wanted to and then were asked only for some contact information and were very politely allowed to leave without any kind of high pressure sales pitch. As we walked out, my husband said, "I could buy a car here." That's a HUGE compliment coming from him! I really do believe our experience that night, along with the quality and value of the Forrester, led us to come back and buy our new 2015 Forrester. The whole car-buying experience was wonderful and I cannot say enough good things about Sarah. She sent me a very nice email follow-up after our first visit and then bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with our purchasing experience... even surprising my husband with a Subaru license plate cover that he saw after the fact and really wanted for the car. Little touches like that make you feel like you are really being listened to and that people care. Also, I really appreciated the finance manager's attitude as we turned down extended warranties - again, no pressure applied to take those and make us feel bad if we didn't. It was all very professional and easy. It was nice to be taken out to see the service department and meet the employees there. Sarah also showed us all we needed to know about our new car. All in all, I would highly recommend this dealership as an excellent place to buy a new car. And I LOVE my new Subaru Forrester!!

I submitted my car into the service department at 8:00 AM on Wednesday morning. It is now 1:15 PM on Thursday and they are just now putting my vehicle on the racks to check it out. I have been without my car for over 24 hours and couldnt even get a loaner to do my daily business. In their defense, they did provide a shuttle to take me back home. Whatever events I had scheduled for today had to be cancelled and here I sit waiting at home for my vehicle. Total inconvenience and all I can look forward to is a bill if they can duplicate the problem which they couldnt two weeks ago when i initially took it in for the same issue. Gravely disappointed customer.

What a great experience! Our local jeep dealership was unable to accommodate our needs, so we contacted Landers McLarty in Huntsville. Everyone was super nice and amazing. We were able to negotiate everything over the phone. Then, we drove 2 hours to Huntsville and all we had to do was sign and drive! We will be getting all of our Jeeps here from now on :)

Tim Wilson was my sales rep. He told me all about the car, gave me a brochure. I had known Tim from church many years. When he told me he was selling cars for Landers McClarty Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, I told him I would give him first shot to sell me one. I had also talked to Hiley Mazda. But Tim won out, more car for the money. Our neighbor had a black one. Our niece has a silver blue one 2011. Tim brought the car to the house and when Yvonne drove it Tim asked her if it was a deal, she said "SOLD". She was leaning towards the Charger all the time. I got her all the info she needed to help her. It's her car and she said the time was right. Got a good deal on our financing from Joshua and added in the Ext. Warranty and the Gap as an outstanding price pkg. Got good trade-in on our 2006 Pontiac Torrent and you sold it fast. It still was in great shape and all maintenance was done properly and on time. All documentation was with the Suv. All in all we had the best experience ever and the most efficient staff. Also Ray Horn was great on getting me, along with Tim a Dodge cap and T-shirt . I also had a great experience with Aretha Hampton when I bought my 2008 Mazda 6i from her, 2 years ago.. She picked out the right car for me. All in all I would rate this Transaction, a grade of 110 per cent. My next car will probably the Dart RT. Thanks so much. Braly Thompson...

This dealership was the Only one that gave us a Great trade-in value for our 2005 Chrysler 300C/Hemi. Also Aretha was absolutely great with us. If you like the old school sales experience, i.e., uneducated sales people at little desks strewn around with the managers looking down from their parapet war room, you'll love L-M Dodge Chrysler in Hsv. Pricing is not competitive with buying services even though they promise they are. Just like the old days, they push what they have on the lot, versus what their customer needs. A lot to overcome for a newly foreign automaker with that and less than stellar reliability of its vehicles, so the third strike could be their awful customer experience, but time will tell.

I engaged the sales team over a week ago about a specific vehicle. We worked the deal for over a week trying to make sure we get the best financing options, trade in, down payments etc. The very first interaction, I asked the price to be dropped to fit my budget. This morning I found out they sold the car for what I originalley asked after we were working on this deal, which they told me was not going to happen. I was working with the sales rep and was told the finance manager would contact me about 6 different times to go over the details...he NEVER called! THIS IS BAD BUSINESS. I will NEVER do business with this auto group and will make sure everyone I know will hear about the aweful experience.
