TL;DR They tried to pass off the wrong vehicle as being the one I had ordered. The dealership spent over a month looking for the vehicle I wanted which I appreciated. When one was unable to be found, we decided it would be best to order one so I could get exactly what I needed. Yes, another 3 months, but with shortages happening, I was fine with being without a vehicle that long, especially if it meant I could get the truck of my dreams. When I got the call to come pick it up, I found a truck that was the wrong color inside and out (white, when I had ordered an upgraded color), with extra accessories I did not order. When I asked about it, the sales manager said “the factory must have sent the wrong truck.” Mistakes happen (and I'd understand) but why was I told my vehicle had been delivered? Why didn’t they just tell me the truth instead of trying to pass off this vehicle as the one I ordered? Did nobody notice when taking delivery? I wanted an upgraded premium color and they thought they could get away with selling me a plain white vehicle with added accessories. It was insulting that they thought I would not care or notice.

I walked into this dealership and was greeted by Brandon Pacheco. He was great! Really helped walk me through the whole process and got me a great deal. Even with the shortage of cars he was able to get me the exact truck I was looking for. The atmosphere of the whole dealership is really friendly. I would highly recommend Brandon if you are looking for a quick and easy process while also getting the best deal around.

I recently had some body work on my 2015 Ford Explorer Sport done at Langway Toyota. I traveled from Cape Cod, MA to Middletown, RI on the recommendation of a friend who had recently had body work done at Langway and was very pleased. From the moment I made my initial call I was completely satisfied. I met with the body shop manager, received a quote and was told that they could start the job whenever I was ready and it would take approximately a week to complete. I brought my vehicle in on the following Monday and a loaner vehicle was waiting. The following 3 days I followed the progress of the vehicle on line and as promised, it was ready on Friday. The vehicle looked better than the day it left the showroom when new. It was a pleasure dealing with the professional personnel at Langway.

We drove from Connecticut to Premier because the offered the best price on a Highlander and because of the professional and straightforward approach offered by Nik, the business manager, who responded to my Internet request. Although I was somewhat concerned about traveling out of state for a car, I have to say it has been the best car-buying experience since I bought my first new car in 1973 (a Toyota Corolla, BTW). I do a lot of research before making a major purchase and when Nik gave me his bottom-line price on the 2015 Highlander, and it was the burgundy color we were looking for, it was a done deal.Nik and salesman Mark Correia couldn't have been easier to work with: honest, no high-pressure tactics. They did what they said they would do, at the price they quoted. We drove up on a Sunday, were greeted warmly by Mark, test drove the vehicle, sat down and did the paperwork and returned the following Friday to take delivery. Again, easy, quick sitdown with Nik, who politely pointed out some options we might want to consider (we declined) and we were ready to go. Jen Cotoia gave us a tutorial on some of the vehicle's features, including how to set up Bluetooth, and off we drove.If you are like me, you're always cautious when you read glowing reviews of a car dealer here or anywhere else, but I've got to tell you, these guys are the real deal. I'm kind of disappointed we're so far away that returning for service may be impractical. Although going back for our first oil change might be a good excuse to drop off the vehicle there and head into Newport for lunch, as Nik offered to have Premier's shuttle drop us off and pick us up.Again, guys, thanks for the great experience. It's the people who make the difference.

On May 8th I was recommended to by a friend to go to Premier dealership after informing her of the horrible people and service I received at Empire Hyundai in Fall River, MA. I had an old vehicle that had over 120thousand miles as my only equity. After speaking to Nissan they recommended and also walked me to their Toyota/ Scion section because they believe one of their vehicles is what I would really like. I really appreciated their honesty and they were not rude or pushy at all.I was introduced to Mark Correia and he was very kind and calm. I was already frustrated from having a horrible day from being haggled and harassed by Empire Hyundai but he and the entire staff were wonderful at making this entire process as easy/simple as could be. He was through on what I want/need in a vehicle and also passed on my vehicle to his estimate department for an evaluation. We discussed my credit and options while being treated with respect throughout the entire process making it all such a successful quick time. I ended up with a new lease vehicle with a great plan the following day. I love my vehicle, the entire process I had with Premier Toyota, and the service I received from all their staff (even those in training)and especially the client representative Mark Correia.They made me feel great about my decision and not one regret. They also ensured my confidence that I can handle a manual and after three days I am a pro. I am happy to continue my service with this dealership and recommend all potential buyers to visit them. If you want to hear some funny stories and work with someone well, do not hesitate to ask for Mark.

After coming from a very large dealership in nearby MA, we came to Premier Toyota in Newport to comparison shop. The vehicle we came to see was very well priced, which we later learned is what Premier calls Pure Pricing- basically no-haggling needed because it's already priced to sell. This was great, as we had already spent hours playing the back-and-forth game at the other dealership. The service we got from Mark was great from the very start and we were treated with respect. All the pricing, including how trade-in values are calculated was very clearly laid out and explained/shown to us- there were no mysteries like at some other dealerships. You really get the feeling that they are a service-committed dealership that wants to make their customers happy, not just get over on you any which way they can. The sales manager Oscar was great as well, and when we showed up at the dealership 10minutes before closing, they actually stayed almost a full hour later to continue working with us. Nik, the Finance Manager was also a pleasure to deal with. Literally, every person we interacted with was very professional, respectful, friendly and genuine. Overall- great buying experience (and I've been to quite a few other dealerships over the past few years.) I would definitely come back to this dealership the next time I'm in the market for a car. Very personalized service, and great pricing system.

Recently purchase a Prius V through Mark Correia, advisor. I started talking with him back in July 2014 and it was great that he understood I was shopping looking at a number of other brands. If I dropped by and Mark was not there others would offer to help or if I just said no thank you that was fine - NO pressure. When I decided I wanted to buy and actually found one on their lot I liked he moved things along and I took deliver the next day (Saturday) at noon. I've dropped by a couple of time and he is very willing to help me.

I called to scheduled my appointment for my '13 corolla on friday and I was able to come in next day. When I pulled in Stephanie came out and greeted me at my car and checked me in. I would rather drink bleach than buy a car from anyone other than Premier Toyota of Newport! Following multiple negative experiences at other dealerships in RI and MA, particularly those where I was told prior to my arrival that the car they advertised was indeed on their lot, yet arrived only to find I'd been a victim of the classic "bait and switch", I thankfully arrived at Premiere Toyota of Newport. I had been in the market for a pre-owned Toyota Highlander and spent countless hours driving to various dealerships, only to be met with much frustration, disappointment, and discourteous staff people. By the time I located a Highlander advertised at Premier, I was skeptical to say the least, however was immediately pleasantly surprised by how personable and professional the staff were at the dealership. From my first interaction with Oscar, Premier's Sales Manager, I was made to feel at ease, as he introduced me to Mark Correia, Salesperson, with whom I worked with throughout the car-buying process and beyond. I cannot say enough about how positive my experience was working with Mark. Mark not only educated me about the vehicle, and answered all questions courteously and professionally, but also did so with the utmost level of respect for me as a buyer. I have bought several cars in the past, my last having been a Lexus IS 250 from a large, well-known dealership in the area, yet I have never been treated as well as I was with Mark at Premier. Throughout the sale and beyond, Mark went above and beyond to ensure that I felt confident, not only in my choice to buy the Highlander, but in feeling as though I got the best possible deal on the car of my choice. Since finalizing the sale, I have received calls from Mark as follow-up to ensure my satisfaction with the vehicle, as well as a personalized thank you card expressing gratitude for my work with him. Mark is definitely the man to see if you are looking to buy a car. Premier is the place to do business if you value professionalism, courtesy, fair pricing, and ease in the process of purchasing a vehicle. This dealership is AWESOME!! I was looking at the Rav 4 line but couldnt decide between the XE, XLE, and the Limited. No hassle, no upsell, no rush, no stress Mark listened to my needs and wants and simply provided the answers to my every question so I could make an informed decision, and I purchased the XE. Their cars are priced the same for every customer, so the negotiation pressure is eliminated. The cherry on top is the way you are treated AFTER they sell you the car. We get the free 2 year service plan that Toyota offers, but Premiere also has their own style of customer service which was totally unexpected and greatly appreciated. Last night the service department gave a group presentation to all their customers who bought a new or used car in the past 6 months while we had subs, and we got another bag of Toyota freebies. Free car washes for the life of my car as long as I own it?? Are you kidding me? I love this place!!

By far the most comfortable and stress free car buying experience in my life. I started by contacting the dealership about a particular vehicle which ended up not being what I was looking for. After talking to Jess Motherway in sales, I explained what was of actual interest to me and she told me she would contact me if something came in. No rush, no pressure, no repeated phone calls or emails trying to sell me something other than what I asked for. A few weeks later I receive an email and she forwarded the info on a unit. Perfect match. Visited the dealership and had a no pressure conversation and test drive. Went back with the trade two days later and they told me what they would give me for the trade and it was more than fair. Meeting with Nic the finance manager was again a no pressure and efficient experience with a fair finance rate. This dealership from the showroom to the shop reflects that of a finely tuned machine. Everyone that I interacted with was a consummate professional and was low key and did more listening than talking. Save yourself a lot of time and aggravation and call Premier Toyota of Newport. It will be worth it.

Bought a new Tundra (this is my 3rd Tundra) and this was by far the easiest purchase I have ever made. There were no hidden costs. Jess and Oscar were great to work with. They put all of the numbers out on the table, told me their markup and that was it. I had already done my homework and knew what the truck should cost and they were right on the money. They also gave me top dollar for my trade in, which made it even easier to deal with them. My wife was also looking for a new vehicle and she just purchased a new 4Runner. We didn't even think about going anywhere else. Also, the service department is outstanding. Can't say enough good things about Premier and will definately do business with them again.

My wife and I just purchased a new Toyota Prius V from Premier Toyota and the experience was outstanding. There were no high pressure tactics or urgency involving the purchase of our new vehicle. I do a lot of research on any vehicle we have purchased so I was already knowledgeable about the Prius model we had decided to check out. My sales representative was Matt Hill and he was very forthcoming with all answers to any questions I had about the vehicle. His knowledge of the Toyota line is impressive as I have met sales persons in the past that did not know about the product they were trying to sell me other than what you could find in a television commercial. Matt was very informative and was not pushy nor did he try to talk me into anything other than what I was interested in test driving. He accompanied me on a test drive over several roads that had not been entirely cleared of snow from a recent heavy storm and pointed out several features about the vehicle as we drove. When we returned, he gave me a quick tour of the dealership service areas and body shop. This dealership was recently totally redone and the facility is outstanding. We discussed a few options about financing as well as leases and when I asked, provided me with invoices to see for the vehicles they had in stock. At no point did I feel pressured or rushed to make any decision as I did not have my wife with me at that time, although we both knew we wanted to buy a hybrid vehicle. One point I would like to make is that the dealership has a minimum profit they make on each new vehicle and that figure was below even what I usually had allowed when purchasing or leasing a vehicle. Also, the owners have apparently 'cleaned house' and terminated employment with the type of employees that in the past were a determent to the dealership. The owners are definitely focused on providing a great customer experience for all departments at Premier Toyota (and that also goes for their Nissan dealership, right next to the Toyota showroom). The fact that the sales persons at Premier are on salary rather than a straight commission takes a lot of pressure off to make the sale the same day a customer is first starting to look for a car. At no time did I feel the need to make a decision about any vehicle while I was at the dealership. When I left the dealership with all the information I needed so I could go home and discuss things with my wife, it was with a good feeling about the dealership and the people I had met during my visit. A few days later, my wife and I both went to Premier so that she could test drive the Prius since it was to be her car. Matt had asked that I call prior to coming down, which I did, and when we arrived, he had already warmed up the car (it was an extremely cold and windy day) and had dealer plates on the Prius I had previously told him we were most interested in purchasing. While Matt stayed at the dealership, we took the vehicle on an extensive test drive to see how the vehicle performed under all driving conditions, which to say was perfectly. Upon our return, we had made the decision to purchase the vehicle we had driven and the only thing left to do was the paperwork.The finance part of the purchase was also a very pleasant experience. The finance person at Premier Toyota is Nik Kischko and he was very helpful and efficient at his job. As with Matt, he was very knowledgeable and offered the usual additional options for extended service warranty and some protection options for the vehicle, but he did it like someone showing you a pair of shoes, straight-forward talk with no pressure to purchase any additional treatments or options for our car. Everything was done within a very short time and the only decision left was when to pick up the car. Overall, this dealership ranks at the top of all the dealerships I have visited during my lifetime of buying or leasing cars. If the service and parts department are as customer oriented as the departments I have had the pleasure of dealing with to date, then Premier will absolutely be at the top of my list of recommendations to friends and relatives if they are looking for a car.

I went in for an inspection and Premier notice my third brake light was out. I have a Mini Cooper which required a new third light assembly. They ordered the part and within a week my car was seen again to have the new brake light and no charge for the re inspection... Which passed.

The options I wanted (mainly the JBL premium sound system and app suite) were not available and locating one was not possible as there were none available in the Northeast. I could not ask for better salesman (Bob D). He was upfront and extremely accommodating. Not once did he try to push towards a truck that was in stock just for a quick sale. He explained the process of locating one as well as the wait time to order on. To make a long story short I ended up putting a deposit down and an order was placed. The truck arrived 6 weeks later and the rest is history. The bottom line is my experience with the dealership was a positive on mainly due to Bob D. Great guy and if you are looking for a new or used car I highly recommend reaching out to Bob D. at Premier Toyota of Newport..

At first contact, the impression I had was it was an overpriced and not all that great a service dept. (thought the $100 diagnostic fee was nonsense). It's still pricey (guess that's the norm these days) but recent experiences with our 2 Toyotas at this dealer have been good (although the services we had were minor). They did the work right the first time and they seem eager to please. Their follow up call to make sure you're satisfied is good customer service/relations. The more I've been to them the more I like what I see, especially now that their settled down from all the construction (the new facilities are impressive).

My car was hit in the front a couple of weeks ago. I took it to Premier Toyota of Newports body shop because I figured they would do a good job and use Toyota parts to fix it.The other day I went to pick up the repaired car and took one look at the paint job and rejected it. The paint on the front didnt match the paint on the back. Sure they faded it, but looking at the whole car from the side, the difference was obvious; even between the two doors. To be specific, the paint on the front was a beautiful deep blue, while the original paint they were to match was more silver, with a hint of gold. In addition the new paint had larger metallic flecks than the original, and finally the gloss of the new paint was much higher than the original.On the phone with the body shop manager, he essentially told me that I had to take it and be happy about it. I explained the problem and he tried to baffle me with BS, tried to tell me I was imagining it, told me that now they use water-based paint and I should be happy for its greenity and told me the paint had faded over the last six years and there was no way they could mix colors to match it. Theyve also told me that the paint is very hard to match and that they did their best.In making his excuses, the body shop manager let slip the real reason the paint didnt match: Toyota changed the formula to a water-based paint.The body shop manager and owner of the dealership have flat-out refused to do anything to fix the problem. They expect me to accept a car that looks obviously repaired and is now worth much less than it was before the accident.Rather than try to make me happy, the owner and manager have tried to bully me into going away.

I recently had my toyota matrix serviced at this dealer ship and I have always had a great experience ! All employees from service dept to payment dept have been awesome. I have bought 2 cars from this dealership. I love the free rental while car is being worked on it saves me time and money ! Keep up the good work !!! I will be back for car number 3 !

The time had come to replace my Toyota that had served me well for the past 13 years and 190K miles, I started shopping around and visited several different dealerships looking for a prospective vehicle. I didn't have a particular make or model in mind and was in the "browse" mode. My experiences at most dealerships were indifferent.I then stopped into Toyota of Newport mainly due to its proximity to my workplace. I was quite impressed with the facility. It was clean, well maintained and organized. I was greeted by Shane and he took the time to show me around and show me several different cars and SUVs based on my requirements, this was despite a very cold and rainy evening. Shane was knowledgeable and patiently answered all my questions despite me letting him know that I was not ready to purchase a vehicle. To my relief, I felt no pressure to the contrary from the sales staff. All the staff members that I met while I was there were courteous and professional. This included Sales Manager Kerry and Alvin from finance.I identified a few cars that I liked including a couple of used ones. I went home and did an extensive amount of research on the internet regarding prices, owners' experiences etc. I called Shane back to test drive two used cars that I had put on my shortlist. Shane had the cars ready when I got there and again put in a good deal of time with me going over each car and the respective features and amenities. I test drove both and really liked one of them. I negotiated what I knew to be a very fair price for the car I wanted and also got a fair trade in allowance on the Toyota I was replacing. I came in the next day to finalize the purchase with Shane and arrange financing through Toyota Financial Services. Greg helped me with the financing portion and before long I was out of there with my new ride. It had been spiffed up and gassed up while I was finishing the paperwork, this was certainly not necessary since the sale had already been made but nevertheless it was a nice touch. All in all, I was very pleased with the entire experience and would highly recommend Toyota of Newport to anyone considering a purchase or lease. They have a great reputation and I experienced first hand how they earned that reputation.

The process was quick and I was able to get the car I wanted at a price I could afford. As well, I was able to get an upgraded model (the S with moon roof instead of the LE), for less per month than the original quote. Great no-pressure sales and overall experience. I would suggest Toyota of Newport to anyone looking for a new car. It's worth the drive down.

My husband feels that going to a car dealership is like getting his teeth pulled out and it becomes painful. He feels harassed, taken for a ride and that the sales person just wants a sale. Oh please leave my teeth alone...Well guess what our visit last week to Toyota of Newport gave my husband a whole new outlook. aka Paula was the first sales person I have seen my husband relate to. Yes she also made him laugh. She was forthcoming, extremely professional and made us feel like we were part of the Toyota Family and that we were making the 'right' decision in what we were buying. She understood our budget, she understood our needs and most of all she explained that life was too short to worry-enjoy life and we are through our highly rated visit and sale with Toyota of Newport...thank you very much Paula.

Was able to get an appointment right away. Service dept diagnosed problem and secured the required parts. Repairs resolved problems and were completed in a timely fashion. Dealership provided free loaner car while car was being serviced. repair work is warranteed.

I am tired of the issue which is not of my doing having no solution. I have had nothing but problems with this vehicle since I purchased it two years ago. If I was not for an outside force I would have never had any issues be solved. The service departmant is never at fault.

I'm always treated with courtesy and consideration. I like the email reminders so that I don't forget to come in for service. My questions are always answered, by the mechanic in the bay if necessary. I don't feel that I've ever been encouraged to spend money on service I didn't really need. I like having local shuttle service if I need it. On the rare occasions when I've required a loaner while my car was being serviced, they've always tried to give me what I needed to accommodate the computer equipment I use for my business.

Love having my car serviced at Toyota but pricing is high and during these economic times it would make the decision to have my toyota serviced at Toyota easier if costs were a bit more competitive. The people are very nice and will work with you just realize you will pay top dollar.

Positive attitude on part of sales personnel. Bought Prius so there was no price haggling. Sales representive covered option packages and prices and helped us decide. We were kept informed about delivery date. Finance person helped us decide on extended warranty plan. Also Toyota credit card.

I brought my Camry in for a free check up and while I was waiting I spoke with a sales man about the new hybrid Camry but never did I feel pressured to buy or ignored when I said I wouldn't be purchasing a new car for about 6 months. The worst part about dealerships can be the pressuring salesmen but in this case they were wonderful, I will buy my car here in 6 months without a doubt!
