The personal attention and excellent customer service my husband and I received when looking for a car during the summer and fall of 2016 at Mercedes Benz in Willoughby, Ohio was exceptional. Our sales person was Marquee Montgomery, who was professional, knowledgeable, personable, and honest about the different Mercedes Benz cars. He worked diligently to understand what we wanted in a car--without the usual high pressure sales pitch at some car dealerships--and delivered to us a new 2017 E300, which we love!

I special ordered a 2017 GLC from Leikin after comparison shopping first other cars and then other Mercedes dealers. I got both the best price and the best service at Leikin. Our sales associate Brian Rapoport was excellent. Ultra-responsive before the sale, after the sale agreement but before delivery, and even after delivery.Other dealerships would often take a day or two to respond to an email or call -- Brian's responses were typically within hours, even on his day off! And, Brian's knowledge of the car is encyclopedic. We were interested in a variety of packages, and he arranged for us to experience them all, and he knew everything about each of them. Every time we came in for a test drive, the cars were waiting for us, indoors if the weather was unpleasant. And there was no "what can I do to put you in this car today..." He simply provided us all the information we wanted, lets us drive anything we wanted, and answered all our questions until we didn't have anymore, and then agreed to the price we wanted to pay! I don't know what else I could have asked for in terms of a positive experience with Brian and Leikin.

From the moment I called to inquire about the vehicle, I was met with excellent customer service by Jordan. He answered all my questions quickly and reassured me about anything I was concerned with as I was coming in from out of town. They sent great pictures, so I ordered a Lemon Squad inspection. It checked out and I was on my way to Ohio to pick up my car. I had one minor issue, I asked for the jiggly mirror to be fixed before I got there and it wasn't, other than that the car was in pristine condition. The dealership itself is very nice. I flew in, met with Jim, test drove it. The paperwork took less than 7 minutes and I was ready to go. The transaction was easy and smooth. Would definitely recommend this dealership.

I recently purchased a CPO 2012 Volvo C70 convertible (found on cars.com) from Leikin. As an out-of-state purchaser, I was apprehensive when I started the process. I needn't have been. Matt Nagy did a great job as my salesman: he was available by phone and e-mail whenever I had a question. He gave me just the right amount of attention. I decided to travel by public transportation but from my starting location there were no reasonable air or train connections, so I traveled to Cleveland by bus. Matt met me at the station! After a test drive, I knew that the vehicle lived up to what was presented online. Matt and finance manager John D'Amico realized that I was facing a long drive home, and they were well prepared for us to finalize the paperwork quickly. This is exactly the way car-buying should be. I bought my 2011 Porsche from them in September. The salesman I dealt with was Jordan Dengel over the course of about 3 weeks. I was a bit anxious about buying a car from another state sight unseen but Jordan was eager to answer any questions, sent me additional pictures of items I had specific questions about, and was even willing to get the car over to a local Porsche dealership for an independent pre-purchase inspection (unfortunately, the other dealer wasn't willing to do it).We ended up closing the deal just before I headed out of country for 2 weeks. Given the timeframe, Jordan and his sales manager worked with me to get them paperwork and a deposit to lock the car down until I got back home.Leikin gave the car a fresh oil change and detailed it beautifully before I picked it up. Jordan was unfortunately busy when I was able to fly in to pick the car up but they picked me up at the airport. Ken Counselman walked me through the paperwork and we took it out for a test spin before finalizing the sale. I was extremely impressed with the dealership in general and Jordan in particular. I was happy that their finance guy told me about the maintenance insurance options but didn't give me the hard sell on it.When I got the car home, I took it in for a post-purchase inspection and my local dealership was very impressed with how clean and well-maintained the car was. I'm so happy with the car that I probably won't be in the market again for quite a while but if I were, I'd have no problems working with Leikin again and would probably check their inventory online just to see if they had what I was looking for.

I am just a normal person who tried to figure out what car to buy. I drove every SUV on the market. I promise I did not know anyone from Leikin Motors; in fact it is farther from where I live than another Volvo dealer from my home who I did visit but they knew almost nothing about the car. I leased the 2016 XC60, fully loaded. I initially worked with one salesman but two other of his associates were cheerfully involved in showing me the car ( I went back three times to compare the car to the other SUV's I was considering) Each time the sales people were wonderful, no pressure, only wanted to answer and help with whatever information I needed to make my final decision. Once I leased the car they were patient as they taught me how to fully unitize the "bells and whistles" like the climate control, wi-fi, internet, programming and all the other necessary functions. I have been back several times for refreshers; each time they were happy to help and suggested they wash the car. My experience has been so positive that my friend just bought a XC60 from Leikin; she even lives farther from the dealership than I do. They offer valet but I have not yet used the service. So....Great Experience...Great Choice... First Class Sales Staff.

I was looking at low mileage Mercedes sedans for my wife on the various car sites and came upon a nice C-300 at Leikin Mercedes of Willoughby. I had done some shopping around in my area and hadn't found anything to my liking so I figured that I would make the 90 minute drive to Leikin . I am so pleased that I did! The dealership is very comfortable and clean and the cars are nicely presented. My salesman, David Pecek had the car parked right up front prior to my arrival and it had just been cleaned so that it would be easy to evaluate. After the test drive, I inspected the car more closely and it was nearly perfect except for a few minor blemishes that David assured the service department would remedy. The purchase price and amount of my trade-in was negotiated in less than an hour. With the help of the sales manager Michael Leikin, a fair deal was agreed too. He also was great to work with. When I went back two days later to pick up the car, it was just as David promised. The small marks had been corrected and the car was spotless with a full tank of gas. David did a wonderful job explaining all of the cars features to my wife (it's her car) and Michael came out to chat for a while. Overall, it was about the best car buying experience that you could hope for. I highly recommend to anyone considering a Mercedes that they make a stop at Leikin Mercedes of Willoughby and see what they have to offer! Paul M. Salem, Ohio

Whether you like it or not, the automobile market has changed. With so much information readily available on the internet, the consumer is much more knowledgeable which makes it increasingly more difficult for dealerships to pull out the smoke and mirrors. Leikin Motor Companies has done exactly what any business should be trying to do; evolve to meet the ever growing knowledge and expectations of the consumer. Our experience here was nothing short of perfection. Ken Counselman was available to our every need. His low pressure, yet upfront demeanor was very reassuring during the whole process. I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with on the purchase of this vehicle. He obviously takes great pride in his job and truly cares for his customers. Ken is the example that anyone in sales should attempt to mimic.The experience did not stop there. Not only was Ken a fantastic guide in purchasing our car, the Sales Manager stopped by and made sure to speak to us each time we visited. This did not happen at any other dealership, and was a really nice touch to the customer experience. The finance manager was also very up front and did not pressure us at all on any additional warranty options, but ensured we understood what was available. Ken and I were able to work out a lot of the decisions over email (at my preference), which made the buying process fast and easy.The buck does not stop at the purchase of the car. Leikin offers additional value following the purchase of your vehicle such as valet services, car washes, and loaner vehicles. Take it from me, these options are simply not available anywhere else.This review is a novel, only because our experience was worthy of nothing less. At the end of the day, the business that grows with the market will ultimately succeed. Leikin truly sets the bar.

Ken and I traded a couple emails and phone calls to discuss my needs narrowing the search. Took a trip up to the dealership that weekend to take a look at what they had to offer. Went to check out a used Mercedes with my mom, and had a few dealerships planned for that day. Leikin was the first dealership we visited, and since neither of us had bought a used car before we were a bit apprehensive. Having done our research beforehand, however, we were very pleased with the quality of the car and the price. Craig Thompson was great in finding an upgrade for me. It was an extremely fridged cold day and Craig was in and out getting the car that he wanted me to look at inside so that I would not have to be outside any longer than necessary. These guys are great. It's my 2nd Volvo. They got me a good deal, loan approved b/c of their extra push and when I had to leave the dealership to pick up my kids in a hurry they made arrangements to meet me later in the day to finish the transaction. Ken Counselman is great and the owner stepped in to accommodate my schedule to finish the transaction. It makes buying a car a breeze with out the typical ridiculous antics and drama.

Sales guy was great, used car Manager "Leikin JR" tried low balling our trade at $13000 dollars. CPO car we wanted was switched during the deal which resulted in $3000 dollar listing price different in car they tried to switch us to in their favor and the switched vehilce had a front ended noise when we original drove it. Then the finance guy tried adding points into the loan and said we need $2500 down but it did not lower the monthy payment, infacted we would still be paying the same amount as if we bought the car that was priced $3000 dollars higher even though we would get the lower valued car. Crooks is what they are! We went to another dealer received $17300 for our trade, received a comparible car as the one we want but priced $3000.00 less. And lastly recieved M-B financing at M-B special advertised rate.

We've all heard of the "painless dentist". Leiken Motor Companies is the painless car dealer in Cleveland. Just bought my second car from them and the experience was as pleasant and free of stress as the first purchase and the subsequent service visits I have had. I like the fact that it is a family owned dealership and that is reflected in all the employees, especially Craig Thompson. After being away for 6 years it was like coming home. Let me start by saying all my visits from leasing to the 10,000 service has been outstanding. I went in just to test drive a SLK and I met a very professional young man Brad Katz who answered all my questions and went beyond. I have had my car in for service two times. The second time was only a week or two ago for my 10,000 check. The car was picked up and del back on time. All work was completed.Why I rated "5" Leikin Motors has preformed better than I expected. I have found Leiken Mercedes to be the premier Mercedes Dealership in the greater Cleveland area.I shopped North Olmstead and Leiken personally. and the other dealerships via internet and found Leiken had a better pricing on there used vehicle inventory.I was offered a better price on my tradein, having purchased three vehicles from Leiken in the past I found there service department to be superior to other dealerships that I have been exsposed too. I emailed the Mercedes Dealership in response to a vehicle that I had seen posted on the internet. Within hours a salesman, Brad Katz, responded by email. The next day, we scheduled an appointment to see the car. Prior to my coming in, Brad asked a few questions which allowed him to be more prepared when I came. I phoned the Internet Manager, Andy Rupert, about a few cars I had viewed both on line and after general business hours one evening. Andy was very pleasant and efficient, providing me with detailed information regarding the amenities of each car I asked about. Per my request, he provided me with lease v. purchase options for the vehicles under discussion. Andy understood the financial parameters that my wife and I were working within and he brought to our attention other vehicles within that range that we seriously factored into our ultimate decision. After agreeing on a price for a 2010 Cadillac CTS, Andy was able to find us a better financing rate than the one we were prepared to go with. Overall, absent Andy's advice and cooperation, I doubt the deal we made with Leiken would have taken place.David and Marci Gatz

On Oct.22/2012 at around 3:30pm, I pulled my 2004 Volvo xc90 into the service dept.I walked up to the Service desk, where Advisor David Leighty stood. He asked how could he help me.I said I needed 6 items repaired.David took my name and phone number and I came up on his terminal.I told him the sunroof is loose,rattles and leaks.I then told him that I had half a foot of water on the passenger floor,and under the pass seat.I told David that the Stereo Amp.is under that seat, and it will need to be replaced after they fix the sunroof.I told David to replace the Exhaust from the Cat.conv. on back.Now at #4) Order a Key and a remote.5)Replace the timing belt, water pump, thermostat and upper and lower radiator hoses. And finally I told David to fix the wiring for the Brake lights. I said I am in no hurry and as long as I have something to drive I'd be fine. David asked Cheryl if they had any cars, and she gave him keys to a 2008 Mazda.I said,why don't you put $4000 down so as your Tech is working on it,you've got money to work with. He then had me initial the loaner car agreement form, where he had put 0.00 charges and said if you're fixing all this, we should be able to take care of the loaner. I stood there for a few moments talking to Cheryl, who I have known for 15 years. David pulled the Mazda up, I got in and went on my way.I never saw ,or signed a repair order.A few weeks later, David called me, and proceeded to tell me what they found, and said we were at about $4400, with out the belt/pump service.He stated I needed $2000 for 2 modules to fix the stop lights.And loaner car charges.At that point I said STOP working on my xc90, and I now need a WRITTEN estimate, telling me EXACTLY what it would cost.I gave him my e-mail address. Two weeks later, I get a loose leaf notebook page with 5 items listed as Parts and Labor.Note:(I had 6 items).In the interim, I had Chemo, and had 4 strokes.I get Out of the Cleveland Clinic,get home and see he had picked up the loaner.I called David and he went dowm the list,and he said his Tech put the 2 modules in to fix the Brake lights, but it did not fix the lights, so his Tech checked further and found an open wire and now they work. He said hewill not charge me for fixing the open wire! I said what about the $2000 in modules? He said that I HAD TO PAY FOR THEM! David charged me $110 to tell me that the Amplifier got wet.I told him we already knew that, and I asked you to replace it. Silence...David had charged me $963 for the loaner car which the loaner agreement (a WRITTEN CONTRACT) stated it would cost $0.00. David charged me for 3 seperate charges for anti-freeze on the SAME JOB LINE! $26 x 3. The parts dept. software should have caught that, flashed a notice stating that the part already exists, and asked you if you wanted to change the quanity.3 gallons mixed with 3 gallons of water, equals 24 quarts.WOW! it only holds 10 quarts.And that one job was 20%over the written estimate. I made it very clear. Tell me what it needs, I'll fix whatever you tell me,and I told him DO NOT LIE TO ME! I put the old $2000 modules back in and I reloaded the soft-ware.Brake lights work fine.We are now at over $8575.00, and myxc90 is still broke. No one went over the 8 pages of invoices with me, I never signed a repair order.But you must know where the real problem is at.It is in the parts dept.,when a Tech orders an electrical part,they are NOT allowed to return it.Thatputs the Tech, and the Advisor in a bad position. They are told to sell it anyway. My name is Kevin J Kroupa.I am a Master Volvo, Acura and Mer-cedes Technician.I am also a level L5 Instructor. I have written 3 books on Volvo repair. I am the founder of Karsinc.Keep Auto Repair Service in check.I have worked with Leikin'sparts personal and at least 6 former Technicians, and when I asked each of the Techs why did you leave Leikin? The answer was always the same.They all wanted the customers to trust them and they didn't like being put in a position where they could not complain or suggest changes to regain that trust we so desprately need.

I flew from Houston to Cleveland, they sent a car to pick me up and deliver me to the dealership. The process of finding/negotiating my desired vehicle seemed pretty simple from the start. However, I began to reconsider my decision to lease while waiting for the arrival (which was delayed) of the vehicle at the dealership. I emailed the sales manager, Steve, that I no longer wanted to move forward with the deal. Not only did I lose my $500 deposit but I received an initial response that was less than friendly. That is the LAST dollar that dealership will get from me!!! (I guess I was right in my decision.)

I purchased this vehicle from a private owner and it needed sevice on a Transmission Pilot Bushing. Worst dealership I've ever been to. I recently purchased two (2) new S60s, one T5 and T6. I called and setup a service appointment but when I arrived was told by the Volvo Service Consultant, David Leighty, that I would have to come back 7 days later since they didn't have time. Worst service yet. If you're looking for a serious dealership and better service, I would recommend Montrose Volvo. The sales and service consultants at Leikin Motor Companies are clearly not interested in providing a positive experience for Volvo customers. I'll save you the furture headache, don't buy from Leikin.

This is a family business and you feel the family welcome when you walk in the place. The Father-Son team of Ronnie and Michael is a pleasure to work with. I just purchased a 2009 Mercedes ML 320 Bluetec from Leikinand I was extremely happy with my experience. Kevin Ornsteinformerly of Metro Lexus is now with Leikin and has worked toimprove customer satisfaction and more. Mike Leikin was mysalesman. Mike and Kevin both worked to help me find thevehicle with options that I wanted...involved bringing the car upfrom another dealership in the South. The negotiated price wasvery fair. When it came time for me to accept delivery my newML was in perfect condition and Mike did a great job in explaining the car and it's many features to us. Although this is not the closest Mercedes dealership to my home,I felt Kevin Ornstein and Mike L. really wanted to work with me and worked to ensure a positive experience. My new ML BlueTec is beautiful, rides perfectly and I am getting terrific mpg's....29 highway, 23 city!

Although the salesmen were very friendly upon learning that I was interested in a certified pre-owned vehicle and were seemingly very accessible to me via phone as well as email this all changed as soon as they learned that I was no longer considering the vehicle. There were too many physical flaws on the Mercedes and I was able to find a much better deal on a higher quality car on a location closer to my house. I put down a $500 deposit towards the car on my initial visit which they immediately cashed the next day although the sale was not finalized. I wrote many emails confirming that the deposit was refundable and each time the question was avoided and not directly addressed. It would be understood that if the refund was indeed nonrefundable it would be noted on the receipt that I received and the salesmen would have no reservations stating that the deposit was nonrefundable. However is now approximately three weeks later and I have no word on my refund and Craig and Kevin no longer return my emails. Please keep in mind that Leikin Motors is a smaller dealership and are likely in need of the money and sales more so than a larger dealership. Therefore I recommend that prospective buyers proceed wtih caution or better yet explore larger and highly rated dealerships as Leikin has repeatedly been rated very low by consumers.

Although their service and attitudes were stellar, Leikin was, at best, mediocre. The only thing that is wrong with this dealership is the pricing. Every single Mercedes on the lot is overpriced by at least $3,000.Unless you want to pay full price with a markup for your Mercedes, Leikin is not the answer. This is why I bought my next two Mercedes from Mercedes-Benz of North Olmsted. Even though MBNO is 50 miles away from my home, it's still worth the deal I got to continue buying from them.
