I was contacted by phone to buy a car, and I should've never been contacted by phone to buy a car. The individual was very rude because I didn't want to pay their asking price for the car. I specifically informed Harry of the price I would pay through online communications, but he decided that he would call me on the phone to make me pay more for a car by being rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I spoke with Mr. Bailey, the general manager, and asked to be removed from all communications and not to be contacted going forth. Mr. Bailey was rude also because he didn't want to hear about his employee calling my phone to be rude. He abruptly asked me my name, told me he would remove me from the calling list, and hung up the telephone. Thank god there are other Lexus dealerships to shop at.

The associates that are the face of the service department are HORRIBLE!!!! I have worked with them for 3 years now and have been through 4 different service "professionals" hoping that things would get better. No chance of that happening. They don't do what they say they are going to do when they are going to do it. And they have the audacity to try to upsale me after such service or ask me to rate them high on their survey. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

I have bought a lot of cars.Tom Williams Lexus is my all-time favorite. Joe Zegarelli is the most patient and knowledgeable salesperson I have ever met. He obviously loves cars , and loves his job. Lexus autos have a lot of creature comforts and gadgets. He knows those autos inside and out. Don't buy a Lexus anywhere else!

When I walked into the Lexus dealership I just wanted to ask a few questions. The Lexus was my dream vehicle so I was a little nervous by being there. I purchased a Nissan 3 years ago and my salesman there gave me the 3-See deal, see the car, see the keys, see you later. Joe took his time with me, clearly explained the process, slowly demonstrated all of the features of the vehicle. I was able to relax and enjoy my time there without feeling pressured. Joe made graduating from a car to an automobile an amazing experience for me. I absolutely love my automobile.

What a joke. In responding to an earlier review, the customer service agent not only did nothing to respond, but has made the situation even worse. There was nothing unsafe about the test drive and I resent the fact that you are trying to direct the blame on us and you can not own up for your salesman's poor behavior. Shame on you. Shame on your company."DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE"For the Cliff's Notes of this review: 1. Drove 2.5 hours 2. Had appointment, guy showed up 30 minutes late, car showed up 15 minutes after that (forgot to mention 15 people standing around the center desk but no one offering to help) 3. Salesman condescending to us 4. Salesman stopped the test drive of a sports car 1 minute into the drive because we accelerated too quickly (didn't even hit 25 mph) 5. Manager could care less that his salesman lost a sure-fire sale we had driven 2.5 hours to make and spent a tank of gas on 6. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE For a longer review, see below. This was the worst car buying experience of my life. After driving 2.5 hours from Atlanta to obviously purchase a car (no, we just drove 2.5 hours to drive a car we had no intent on purchasing...), we were treated with the utmost disrespect by Joe Zegarelli. Even though we had an appointment with Zegarelli and had confirmed numerous times that we would be there at 10:30 am, we were still left waiting for Zegarelli for 30 minutes. When he finally showed up, he let us know that the car wasn't ready to test drive yet. Excuse me!!! Not ready?? How long have you had to get the car ready for us?? After waiting another 15 minutes, he finally pulled the car around to the front. However, that didn't begin our test drive. He had to go back inside to get God only knows what this time. So while we waited AGAIN for this jerk, my husband and I took turns trying out each of the seats in the vehicle. Zegarelli ended up walking out as I was sitting in the driver seat (even though the test drive was for my husband) and asked me in the most condescending tone, 'Who's gonna be driving this car anyway?" Excuse me??? Am I not allowed to sit in the driver seat of a vehicle we have driven 2.5 hours to purchase??? Especially considering my husband and I often have to drive each other's vehicles for long road trips, etc. Regardless of my reason for being in the driver seat, this should have been another clue to add to the books that this test drive was about to go awry. In fact it was. We were not even a minute into the drive before the sales guy told stated, "now we're not going to abuse this car today." What, you may ask provoked that statement??? As we pulled onto the main highway, my husband hit the accelerator. We were test driving a sports car, one that is known to have a fast rate of acceleration. The wheels did not slip, the traction control indicator light did not come on, we never even got above 25 mph. But this was apparently "abusing" the vehicle to actually touch the gas on this SPORTS CAR. He then told us we needed to turn around and that another salesperson could go out with us. Like I said earlier, obviously we drove 2.5 hours just for a joy ride. Hardly. This was our test drive, this was going to be our car, we had already resolved ourselves to paying full asking price since we lost the bargaining chip of walking away. But Mr. Zegarelli lost our business on this car and any car in the future. He had a deal in the bag and was such a condescending jerk to us, that I had to write this review. And if you're wondering, the manager was just as big of a donkey. I urge you not to purchase from this dealership. These people do not understand the concept of another person's time or money. They are inconsiderate, rude, back-woods, and downright awful human beings. I also forgot to mention that they originally posted the vehicle for $35,000 and when we contacted them about this price, they never responded. Then thy took the ad down and posted the vehicle for $38,000. Again, when we contacted them about this vehicle even at the higher price, they took forever to respond. And when they did finally respond, they were unhelpful and did not provide the information we were asking for. They even practically demanded we make a deposit on the vehicle even though we were coming to see it the very next morning. Very poor business practices all around.

I have been searching the internet daily for over a month looking for a certain model vehicle I wanted..The other night I saw just what I wanted on Tom Williams Lexus website. I have done my research and I knew car was at a good price and I knew it would be gone fast.I called first thing the next morning and was lucky enough to speak to salesman Jerod Pitman.I told Mr. Pitman I lived a hundred miles away and could not get off work that day but would be at dealership the next day Saturday.He knew the car would go fast but he was nice enough to hold it for me to get there .I realize dealerships normally do not do this but he sensed that I was serious and he gave me chance to get there and buy it instead of selling it to another customer.My wife and I drove birmingham on Saturday and Mr. Pitman met us and could not have made our buying experience any better.He spent several hours with us explaining every feature on the lexus to us like a friend not like a salesman wanting to make a sale.He then stayed with us thru the paperwork and finance part of the sale making sure we understood every detail. Late that afternoon we drove our new lexus home to Montgomery.I am 66 years old and I have never had a car buying experience nearly as good as Mr. Pitman made this one.If anyone reading this is looking to purchase a car I highly recommend giving Jerod Pitman at Tom Williams Lexus a call. You won't be sorry!

I made an early morning appointment to drop my car off to have the moon roof checked, since I could hear wind noise at regular cruising speed. I was told that it could be about 4 hours before it would be ready, so they gave me a loaner car. After about 7.5 hours and no word from the Service Dept., I called them and was told that it hadn't been looked at...and wasn't going to be looked at that day.I would have really appreciated someone calling me and letting me know that. I guess having an appointment doesn't really increase the likelihood that your car will actually be serviced. I can't really rate the quality of work, since they never actually did any.Very poor customer service.

Our 2013 GS350 was taken in for an oil change and learned of recall. Took the car back 2 days later on a Monday for recall work and new brakes. Since then, we have been inundated with harassing/unsolicited phone calls to cell phone from "Easy Care," who sells extended warranties. The sales person at Easy Care was rude and was reluctant to provide the name of the company when I returned their call to have them remove us from their call list. She stated they "were with my dealership." She did not even know what dealership I was calling about until I gave her the phone number they had been calling, then she said they were with Tom Williams. I have made several inquiries over the last 2 days to Tom Williams asking how our personal information -- cell phone number, exact date our car was in for service, mileage, etc. was distributed without our permission. Still waiting on a return phone call from manager. Per our service rep, I am not the first person to complaint about this. I had no problem with the work that was done, but the unwarranted harassment by the extended warranty company they do business with will make me take my car elsewhere for service in the future.

Got a 2015 Lexus 350 with 3200 miles. BSM, blind spot monitor keeps going off and on. I'm thinking short in wiring. They tell me in April 2015 they ordering new part for me. Called end of June, part not here will be here 10 July. Called today 14 July, part not here will be here 17 July. I ask what's the problem and was told because it's a new car it doesn't take priority. Why can't they give me another car because it's looks like my car not going to get fixed? They don't work like that. Well, looks like they don't work period to me. All I want is for my car to be fixed while it's new.

Terry Lewis, my salesman, was very laid backno pressure whatsoever, nice, and friendly! He was interested in making me happy (and that wasnt easy). He took time with me and made me think I was his priority. We talked about all makes of cars. He gave me facts and didnt bad mouth the others. When we test drove the cars, he didnt talk the whole time. He let me experience the ride. In the end I drove away in another Lexus because you can't beat the way they drive!!! I will definitely go back to Tom Williams Lexus and request that Terry help me!

Clif Payne was the LTR that assisted me in choosing and purchasing my new Lexus NXt. He actually sold me my first Lexus back in 2000 and I was impressed with his friendliness, knowledge, and his caring attitude. Living up to that reputation, Clif spent hours of his time helping me choose and understand the technical details of my new car before the purchase, explaining the differences between the Lexus and other vehicles I was considering buting, and subsequently spent an entire afternoon with me making sure I was well acquainted with all the features, even programming most of them for me. He is the most outstanding salesperson, now LTR, that I have ever dealt with in my many years of purchasing multiple cars, and he is one of the primary reasons I chose to use this dealership again. I would highly recommend anyone considering the purchase of a new vehicle to use Clif and Tom Williams Lexus for their purchase.The dealership itself, namely its service department, exudes a friendly willingness to be of assistance to please the customer, and the quality of the work is exemplary. After having driven my old GS longer than I care to admit, Gary Mugnier met us at the door Saturday and worked with us for a couple test drives (ES and GS), provided useful info and then responded quickly when we called back to check on driving and then buying a different ES350. He and the finance team, including Jeff Wong, simply showed us why we have come back again to Lexus and Tom Williams -- everything is done with premium service and a customer-first approach. It is refreshing in this internet age of stripped-down treatment to have this kind of an experience. We will call Gary next time we need his services, and are enjoying our new car very much.

As a repeat customer (2 from the dealership and 2 more from the salesman) I continue to be pleasantly surprised by Tom Williams Lexus. From giving what I wanted on my trade-in to handling all of the paperwork quickly and efficiently, I could not ask for more. And the salesman, Terry Lewis, was outstanding as he has always been. I am picky and can almost always find something to suggest as an improvement, but I am at a loss to do so here.

Wasn't really looking to trade ,saw a like new 1 owner truck just like I would buy new but couldn't afford !!!found out that price was thousands of dollars below NADA retail ,Dealership team gave me a true price out the door with my old truck being traded in ,got me financed with a great rate from local credit union and I was out the door with my dream truck in a few hours !!!!WoW that was easier than buying a suit and being fitted !this is a great place to purchase a clean car that you can trust ,I highly recommend buying from this Dealership !

This is the second Lexus we have purchased from this dealership. We are from the Chattanooga area and drove to Birmingham to purchase. This dealership offered a price that was $3000 lower than the same vehicle at the Chattanooga dealership. Our salesman, Berry, was the best! He is so patient and works hard to get the best deal for the customer. Mr. Jones is the finance department was wonderful too. The best thing that happened for us was that one of the options we purchased for our car could not be installed the day we bought the car. This was going to cost us another round trip to Birmingham. When our salesman went back to the department that handles the installations, they were not working but the man did it anyway!!! He did not want us to have to make another trip so he did it on his day off. This entire dealership is top notch with the best customer service available to consumers.

My wife and I have purchased two vehicles from TWL. Can't say enough about how good the experience was working with our salesperson Gary Mugnier. We have always been pleased with the experience and pricing. After the purchases we never experienced "buyer's remorse". We had a minor accident and brought the car to TWL Collision Center for assessment. They are SUPERIOR! Spent the time necessary to make sure every smidgen of damage was put back to new car status.

I drove to Tom Williams Lexus this saturday (11/29/14) and met with Clarence Rasberry. He is very helpful and guided me through the purchase process. This is a great place to buy a car. I have bought three cars from Frank Baumann. He is the reason. I stopped purchasing in Atlanta. If you buy from Frank you can be assured you will be given the very best service possible. He takes care of his customers not only on the day of the purchase but from then on. You feel like he is a family member . I have never gone to Frank about a problem that he did not find a way to help me. If you are in the market for a car , you can't go wrong with this guy.

I talked to a chat person ( Susan) with Tom Williams internet dept and in chatting told her the car I was interested in (2013 white Lexus RS 350 SUV) she informed me that there were not any meeting my criteria but she would keep in touch and let me know when one came in. As we talked, she said, You know I just got notice that a car exactly what you want just came available. I told her I would be there is one and one half hour, got in the car, picked up a friend and was at the dealership in record time. I looked at the car, test drove it with Robert Cunningham, and proceeded to buy. The time of arrival was around 12 by 4:30 had purchased the car and drove home and I DEARLY LOVE THE CAR. Have had the car for a short time now and all seems to be great! Would highly recommend Susan to chat with. I find her very helpful, tenacious, friendly and completely interested in helping you. Robert was friendly and helped with showing the car and finishing the paperwork. Great place. In fact, we are trying to buy another car from Tom Williams Lexus as I write this review

Tom Williams dealerships have a policy of under pricing trade-in value by $2500.00 per vehicle. This under pricing is based on determinable established wholesale market price. I wished to trade-in 2011 Hyundai wholesale value $30,000 based on Carmax cash offer, but Tom Williams only offered trade-in for $27,500.00. Also wished to trade-in 2004 Lexus LS 430 with a Carmax cash offer of $9500, but Tom Williams only offered trade-in of $7,000. Irrespective of relative value of trade-ins, each trade-in offer was $2,500.00 below clear wholesale value. I refused to trade-in either car or to buy from Tom Williams. I sold each car for cash to Carmax at the higher wholesale price. Got a much better purchase price from Atlanta dealers plus the extra $2500.00 for each of the two cars I traded. Saved over $7,000 by NOT dealing with Tom Williams.

Never should it take 2 days or more for loan approval, even with slightly tarnished credit. Wishy washy, didn't seem to care whether they called you back or not. Didn't seem to want to work with us. Quoting laws they really aren't to sure about. Overall experience was terrible. Should treat everyone the same and work hard for them.. Will stay in our own County where they care about their customers.. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM.

This service center pushes you into buying maintenance that is not needed on your car. The first time I was talked into changing my oil and having full maintenance when it was not time. I had just gotten the car used and was not familial with the lexus maintenance and what actually needed to be done so the adviser took advantage and talked me into doing everything even things that were not needed (so I found out later). Now 1 year later my car is no longer under manufacture warranty but I need my oil changed. I called and they are trying to force me into getting another $500 maintenance package that I am not interested in. I told the lady I was not interested and she pretty much told me that my file would be "marked" as non-compliant with the maintenance schedule. I understand that is the way things are but my car is already out of warranty so why threaten me with this? She spoke to me as if I was a ignorant and was being cheap because I didn't want to pay another $500 when all I called to schedule was an oil change.

This was the absolute worst car buying experience I've ever had! I called about a used car they had listed online. The car was available so we drove 1 hr & 1/2 to the dealership on a Friday night. After test driving the car, we loved the car and went in to sign all paperwork. We were already pre-approved so the time on paperwork should've been minimal. The salesperson, Mr. Gary Mugnier, came back to me after the paperwork was signed and told me that after speaking with my finance company, they were going to require me to pay the taxes to my county first (I live out of state) and then I could take ownership of the car! This made no sense to me! But then was told that if I financed through their dealership, no problems! After waiting around for another hour or so and by this time it was late, he explained they were going to have to call in some favors Saturday am to get the deal worked (again I was already pre-approved). He also assured me the car would be put around back, not to be sold and he would personally drive the car to me. I called my finance company Saturday a.m. only to find out no one had called them from the dealership Friday night! I was to receive a phone call from him that morning, but never heard from him. After leaving a message for him, he finally returned my call around 2 p.m. and said they were still trying to get through all the requirements. I already had been lied to numerous times at this point by Mr. Mugnier and also one of the Managers. I had little faith in them, but really wanted the car. I called and asked for a Manager because I had a bad feeling about the whole deal and it was confirmed that they sold the car first thing Saturday morning! Instead of being honest with me, Mr. Mugnier lied to me all the while the car was sold! Even after demanding to speak to the General Manager, I was left feeling that they could care less that I had been treated so poorly! I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone! My reason for writing this review is hopefully to keep another consumer from being treated this way in the future by Tom Williams Lexus!

My wife contacted this dealer about an '09 GMC Arcadia that was listed at a fair price, she asked Shirley to give her relevant info on the vehicle, Shirley had no information to offer. None. She was asked what would my wife like to know. Very unprofessional. My wife explained that we live in Dothan and would like to either have car delivered or meet half way and gave them an offer on price. Shirley explained that they were a no "haggle deal, but thank you for your offer". Shirley did not want to entertain the phone call any longer but when pressed she said she would take the information to the manager and someone would call her back. Several hours passed with no phone call from the dealership so I called them myself and spoke to Quinton. I further explained the true interest we had in purchasing the vehicle "sight unseen!" And that we would pay asking price including tax, title & fees, also that we are paying in cash. We still have no heard anything further from this dealer.Very unprofessional.

Saw there a 2010 Lexus RX350 silver with 96K miles, was priced at 25,500 + fees. I wasn't even haggling on the price, just wanted to buy it over.Was really thinking that Lexus dealerships are qualified, but not all of them.Called Quintin Little and asked about car, and expalined them, Im buying this car without seeing it, since Im in Texas and they are located in Alabama. Wanted to make sure that the car hasnt been in an any kind of accident since the carfax and autocheck was clear and asked them about Vin stickes labels which indicates that all the parts are original. There are 8 of them, 4 on every door, 2 on front fenders, 1 on the hood and 1 on the trunk. anyways, asked quintin to chec them for me, he was like, the car isnt there, its in body shop, they are just checking them, i can assure you that the car hasnt been in an any kind of accident bla bla bla. Believed their words and sent 2,000$ deposit online. Calling them everyday, before paying of remaining amonut to make sure that all labels are present, then after tireless 1 week they sent me to Joe Straub, who is really mean guy. after more 2 days, they tell me that, car's one passenger door was replaced and painted. OK, but they could have told me this before i sent the money to them, isnt it?Now its been like 2 weeks, since i wasted my time, money and efforts. Its really hard to reach them, eventhough i leave a voicemail everyday and email them everyday.Waiting for refund of my money, they havent refunded it back yet.P.S: I still love Lexus, but this 2 guys are making hard to work with Lexus anymore, so i will say 1 out of 5 for this dealership that they hired this mean, unprofessional guys!
