My salesperson was Josh Lebeau. He knew the vehicle I was looking at very well and explained all the details. At one point, we couldn't come to a point where I was going to purchase the vehicle but Josh worked hard to make it happen and it did happen. It was a great experience and I love my new 4Runner.

The morning I decided to get a new car I went to a couple dealerships to see what they could do for me. I went to jeep Chrysler in chicopee and they were rude and just laughed at me. Didn't help at all. I went to a couple of other ones and there wasn't anything that liked. So we drove by Lia Toyota of Northampton and stopped by. Right away the service was excellent they were nice and let us look at several cars also answered all the questions that we had for them. Korean O'Sullivan was our sales person and he was great! He helped us get out car right away. I wasn't expecting to leave with a new car that week and I got one in two days. I could have been one of I got their earlier in the day. This was one of the best experiences I've ever had and I definitely will come back her for future cars and recommend that anyone who is looking for a new/ used car should come go there! Lia has not done what I was told they would do. Took at least double the time they said it would take to do jobs. I had to make an extra trip to Lia to get work completed on new car as paperwork was not done when I went to pickup the car. I lost 2 hours of work because of Lia's mistakes.

I walked into Lia Toyota of Northampton, Ma. to look at new cars with fear and trepidation. I had been quoted a very attractive price for a Corolla S on the phone and I was there to drive and learn more about the car. Jon Maki, salesperson, introduced himself and escorted me out the door where the Corolla was waiting. The car was beautiful, the ride first rate and Jon, the perfect person to accompany me. His natural, easy going, professional manner started building a tower of trust from the first moment and that meant everything to me. Zero pressure people. Beautiful!! He could feel my joy and excitement driving the car and I was so grateful to have this fine fellow to share these feelings with. I don't know who hires and trains sales personnel but Jon could be a model for what Toyota is trying to provide in customer service. Toyota is a GREAT company with their Extraordinary product and excellent customer service. I

Lindsay Firmani was an excellent customer service person. She was knowledgeable and respectful. She reviewed the needs of my Camry/Hybrid and made helpful suggestions for the timing of future service needs. When I returned with an air conditioner noise and debris, she correctly identified the evidence of a rodent eating the cabin filter which was proven by the technican. She managed having the service repair completed in a timely fashion.

We have never had such a horrendous experience! The salesman was very difficult to work with. He kept getting up to talk to his manager as if he either didn't know what he was doing or couldn't make a decision without him. He told us to look on the website because the car we were interested in wasn't there on the lot. When we looked up the car we called and said we were interested. At first they didn't want to bring the car to Northampton, but after three phone calls they agreed. We test drove the car after putting gas in the tank paid for by ourselves. When we tried to talk to the salesman about buying the car he wanted to sell it for a lot more than advertised on the website. He then tried to get us to pay $1,000.00 to have the car certified, although the website clearly stated in at least five places that it already was. My husband signed what we thought was a purchase agreement, but was only a work order. When we cancelled the deal the salesman,then refused to return our down payment because they had to bring the car to that site.

After doing a fair amount of online research and pricing out as many leases as possible online it seemed that a lease for a 2015 RAV4 was a pretty decent deal. With a fair amount of knowledge garnered from online research in regards to how leases work I figured I would price some out. Now I don't have stellar credit and I also have a good amount of negative equity to roll over into a lease, making me not the most prized leasee or a dealers dream. However, I felt like this dealership didn't want to deal with me or be helpful in the least. The salesmen that helped me, I think his name was Justin, was nice enough. But I was quoted with my credit at a lease of $650 a month for 36 months with my equity rolled in. Now this makes absolutely no sense.. that means that take out my likely 3500 of negative rollover that I am paying 20000 for a car that has a 61% residual value.. making my loan amount around 11,000... so If you do the math somehow I am paying 10000 in interest.. thats nearly impossible. After this news I was then informed that even with a cosigner it would only take me down to $600 a month. They then tried to stick me in a used car which I explicitly explained I was not interested in. Needless to say that I left. I've since been to another Toyota dealership where I've been quoted with a lease well under $400 a month with my negative roll over included. I felt like they sized me up as an uneducated female and figured they would try and pull one over on me. I was extremely insulted at how I was treated and would never ever go back or recommend this dealer.

I was not planning on getting that day but... I had a new car 2 days later. Mr Maki is a true professional and gives his clients all the time they need and you never feel pressured or rushed. He actually came in on his day off to show me the same car in another color & then ended up staying most of the day finalizing the sale & making sure I could take the car that day for an extended trip the following day. We are so happy with our 2008 Prius - that's right - it's 7 years old and has gone over 230,000 miles and NOTHING HAS EVER GONE WRONG WITH IT. I guess the reason is the scheduled preventative maintenance that we do which is recommended every 5,000 miles. The whole service department team is great but we especially like working with Lindsey Firmani who treats us like family. As family she is on top of everything and has us fix, tune or replace a part before it becomes a problem.

Love the service department--quick and efficient and super-friendly. I always ask for Lindsay Firmani. She's incredibly knowledgeable and lovely to work with. She serves as a sort of intermediary between the customer and the mechanics. She communicates to the mechanic any problems I'm having with the car, and then comes back and explains what, if anything, has been diagnosed, what the cost will be, and how urgent the fix is. Years ago, I worked with other less-honest dealerships. I never get that feeling from Lindsay or Lia Toyota. I always feel like they're on my side and are trying to help me keep my car in the best possible condition while recognizing that I don't have a lot of money to put into it.

As with any big purchase, I was a little nervous and wanted to make sure I was given and understood all of the information regarding purchasing a new vehicle. Instantly, when I entered Toyota, I was greeted by Andrew. He worked so incredibly hard, answering my questions but also, quickly seeking help from his manager when he wasn't certain--this service really illustrated his dedication to making sure I had everything I needed to make the best choice--something I haven't found at other dealerships. I couldn't be more appreciative as Andrew really went out of his way to make me feel like a valued customer. Andrew's manager was also wonderful, taking the time to actually go to the body shop (where my former car was being fixed) and check it out in order to give me the fairest trade. As opposed to Honda, they offered me the best trade for my previous car, which was a relief financially. The entire process was seamless, friendly, and I could not be happier with my 2015 Corolla!

I explored the possibility of buying a truck from Toyota a few months before actually going in to do it. My sales consultant helped with suggestions and gave me a good feel for the dealership so when I returned to buy, I went straight to him. He asked me two questions about what I wanted and needed in a truck and then said he had a truck for me. We went out to see it and test dive it. The truck was perfect. This was my first time buying a car from a large dealership. I must say I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED! I contacted Lia Toyota because in my recent car shopping , I decided I would try the Toyota RAV 4. My parents have worked with a guy named Phil Riley over the years at this dealership and they think he's just the greatest guy. So, naturally, I contacted Phil for my test drive. I found Phil to be a friendly, energetic, pleasant and helpful man who is also not pushy. We test drove the RAV 4, which was quiet and controlled, yet peppy and answered when called to step up on the highway simply too big for my needs. If you do go to Lia Toyota, I would highly recommend looking Phil up, because he is a fun person to be around and is more than willing to do whatever he can to help you.

We came in to look at the RAV4 and test drive a couple. Robert Astin suggested a Scion XB that they had left in stock from 14'. I previously had a Scion and so did my wife, we just needed something bigger. Robert made it work out for us and my car payments were a couple dollars more a month than I was already paying. We rode our bikes into Lia to see if they would fit into a Prius. We met our salesperson Chris Mattei and he was most accommodating, letting us try and fit the bikes and then coming up with the best solution! It was a very hot day and Chris was very patient with us as we looked at many vehicles on the lot. We were going to sell our old car ourselves but the price they gave us confirmed that a trade-in was the best way to go. We came to an agreement on the price and Chris prepped the car that night and we drove away the next day on a trip to Boston. Chris made the purchase of the car very easy since there was no pressure and he answered all our questions openly and honestly.I highly recommend checking in with Chris the next time you need to purchase a car.

Recently had RAV 4 in for oil consumption test as it uses a lot of oil! This required two visits. The service rep. who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful explaining the process. It did take a long time to get essentially an oil change(over 2 hrs). On the return visit things were much quicker and the service rep. ( Caroline Babinski ) was again very pleasant and helpful. Our one huge disappointment is with Toyota itself in that 1 quart of oil used in 1100 miles passes their test. That is approx. 5 qts of oil needed every recommended oil change interval. Seems very excessive to me!!!

I had previously had a Camry for 16 years! Went to buy a new one and came away very happy with my purchase. We traded in our Toyota Rav 4 lease of nearly three years and upgraded to a Venza. The salesman, Robert Astin, was able to lower our payment and get us a no money down deal all in one day. They will register and deliver the new vehicle on Monday. It's like drive-thru service - quick and wonderful! Was in the market for new 2015 RAV4, I always shop around before making the deal and I can honestly say my consultant Robert Astin was a true professional from start to finish. He was friendly, knowledgable, extremely helpful and sincerely an honest hard working guy who went to bat for me numourous times to get the deal done. As for the dealership, it's modern, clean and organized facility with a friendly professional staff and overall image. This is my 2nd purchase with a Lia Group Dealer (Honda Enfield being the first) and I'm very pleased with the both experiences. Besides what I just stated, they got my business because they fought for it, crunched the numbers and gave me the best deal and overall value. I find some other dealerships almost arrogant how they tell you this is what we paid for the car, we aren't making any profit on this deal and this is our best offer so take it or leave it. "Bullpoop", don't believe them and if you want a Toyota, call Robert Astin at Lia and if it's another brand vehicle, just hope Lia has that brand dealership and call them. They Will Fight For Your Business! This is why I'm also pleased to here they now have a Chrysler Dealership, almost can't wait until it's time to trade up my 300C! I drive a 2007 Lexus. The oil light wouldn't go off even though we had just had a routine oil change. Not only did I get a next day appointment for help, the Lexus technician made the adjustment which solved the problem in just a few seconds and then, to my great delight, we were not charged the $104.00 diagnostic fee. Lindsay was the service rep who checked us in and out. She was friendly, professional, and cheerful as she expedited our visit. I'm glad this was taken care of easily near to home and that I did not have to drive to a dealership at a greater distance from home.

Did some research on line first and then went to the lot to check out the cars. Worked with Joe K and looked at two Avalon hybrids. Took both home to show my wife and get a feel for each. The day after driving our new RAV 4 home, we had to return to the dealership for our first inspection sticker. (Too late to get it when we got the vehicle) As it was our first visit to service, we were a little unsure as to what was required of us, even though our salesperson, Chris Mattei was very clear about that the night before. Excellent sales experience start to finish. Absolutely NO pressure plus extremely informative. Addressed each concern to our satisfaction. If Chris didn't have an answer to our questions, he went and got it instead of making something up, or telling us what he thought we wanted to hear. We went to Lia Toyota to see if the Rav4 advertised, met our needs and ended up driving a New Toyota Rav 4 home that evening. There are a lot of negative stories about car dealerships and what supposedly goes on in them. None of these applied to Lia Toyota. Chris Mattei is an exemplary part of the Lia Sales Team. Very well managed and organized,I had my Tacoma accessed for rust on the frame and they did a thorough inspection and fixed the seat belt recall.I dealt with the service manager Justin and Lindsay both very polite and very accomadating.Lia shuttled me to downtown to have lunch with my daughter and got picked up on time and shuttled back even the shuttle drivers were very pleasant.Not a social media fan but I do recognize great service.

The customer service at Lia Toyota cannot be rivaled. I purchased my car through Phil in sales. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and accomodating. The selection of Rav4s was also much better than at the other dealerships. After testing and choosing to buy a 2015 Rav4 XLE, the buying process was so smooth and easy! My second purchase from Lia, both to buy new Tacomas. My previous one, which I loved, lasted 9 years and was still going strong, but Lia gave me a good trade-in value for it so I'm into a 2015, which I also love. Very professional sales staff. With Chris's help it took about two hours to turn my old truck into a brandy new one. It's like the fountain of youth for vehicles, you should try it.

The weather was nasty yet Joel had no issue pulling more vehicles out for us to look at and test drive. During the summer I leased a Prius plug-in from this dealership and had the good fortune to work with Joe. He was personable, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. But the truth is, I really didn't like the Prius. Not the right car for me, not the right car for the kind of Winter we're having in MA! So I called Joe a few weeks ago and he invited me to come in. Again I found him incredibly helpful, particularly attuned to what I was hoping for in my next car. Not only did he help me select a Scion (which I LOVE), he also worked out a fair deal in terms of buying out my lease on the Prius and setting me up with a new one. Chris went out of his way to show us the features of tldn't put in our budget. He then went into the computer to find a similar car without the moonroof at a lower price which was available at another dealer. He was more than willing to go get the car monday so that we could see it. As we reviewed the features it appeared the wheels on the car were smaller than on the car we had seen. Noting our concern he went out to the lot in the rain searching with a car with the smaller wheels. He than found a car closer to what we had seen with the larger wheels. He negotiated a price in our range with management and arranged for us to see it and drive it the next day. After driving the car he further worked on the price and our concerns. It should be noted that most of his running around was done after closing and in the rain.

My wife and I shopped at Lia Toyota in Northampton in early November 2013 to replace our 2007 Tacoma with a new, updated model. We decided to duplicate the Double Cab 5' bed which was what we were used to and worked well for us giving us utility and room for our grandchildren to sit in the back. When it came time choose a color we picked Barcelona Red which was not available on the lot so it was decided since one could not be found locally to swap that it would be ordered from the factory.After some delays in manufacturing we took delivery on January 18. The sales process went smoothly given a change in salesperson partway through. After the internal change of salesman we were lucky to work with Chris Mattei. Chris was very good about follow up and keeping us informed of the progress of manufacture and shipment. Chris also has excellent product knowledge. We also had a unique request to save the tonneau cover from the old truck so we could use it on the new one. Chris took personal charge to make sure we were able to accomplish that. It was a big help to us. If there comes a time to need another vehicle I would certainly look to work with Chris at Lia of Northampton.

Instead of going to other dealerships in Springfield and Greenfield, I went to Lia Toyota in Northampton to buy my new 2014 Avalon Limited. I had previously purchased two new Avalons in 2006 and 2011 from this dealership with the help of Joe Kaslauskas. The main reason I went there is that I have confidence in Joe's advice & expertise, and in a word, I trust him. I have been a realtor for 20 years, and my business depends on referrals for the same reason, reliable, trustworthy service. He represented my position well with his manager with regard to negotiating the price of a new and a used Avalon. Over the years I could always ask Joe questions an 'shoot the breeze.' He kept me in the loop while the dealership was trying to obtain the car I wanted (the color), and he handled masterfully all the tedious details of registration and de-registration. He patiently answered any question I had, and he helped me move all my stuff from one Avalon to the other at dinnertime! Also, Ron Duda was a helpful ally in this process. With his technical expertise - he came from the Lexus dealership-, he transferred my phone contacts, helped me with the Navigation and with the registration on Pandora and On Table, etc. I could ask Ron any question, too, and it is obvious that Ron and Joe work as a team for the benefit of the customer. I appreciated the manager shaking my hand on two occasions and emphasizing that I could call upon him anytime. And the owner of the dealership was instrumental in getting the Avalon Limited with all the features and color I wanted from his former dealership in Westbury, CT. He had searched all over MA previously. I should add that the service department (the lady with the English accent in particular, Lenzie I think) has been consistently helpful since 2006 until now. All in all, this is a great dealership, because each person does his job well and offers reliable service. Remember, though, it was Joe who brought me back there for the third time!

I went and looked at the vehicle, and got a very fair appraisal of my trade. I was still thinking about the possible purchase, and went home to think about it. Beware!I asked for an email quote on a new 2013 Toyota Camry. The price I was quoted was $500 higher than the price for the same car (same VIN number) on their website.When I went in, I was told by the sales manager that he would match any price, which he did. I wanted to take advantage of the 0% 60 Toyota financing, and my quote had a table showing monthly payments. I asked if this was the 0% 60 financing, and the sales manager said ye. However, when I multiplied the number of payments by the monthly payment, the total was more than $2000 higher than the quote. I didn't discover this until after I had left, but you can bet I won't go back there again.

We bought a used car from you 3 or 4 months ago and have had nothing but trouble. The first week we took the car in because it had unusual creaking from below. They lubed it and said it was ok. Within 2 days the creaking got worst, now we have learned that something is bent underneath and it will cost 1500 plus to fix, (despite purchasing the protection plan) There was no accident with us.I would like to address this issue right away. This had to be the worst experience I have ever had with a dealer. Offered me a low trade in vs Kelly blue book I objected to the price she went to ask the sales manager Garven if there was more she came back and said and I quote " Thanks for coming in" and walked away not even a counter offer hand shake or goodbye. If this dealership is trying to be #1 in customer service they have a long way to go. My husband is an executive at a very large company and if he treated his customers the way this company treated us they would not be in business. Holly was the sales rep and certainly has a lot to learn about how to deal with customers. I was in sales for a Broker for many years and with an attitude like that I would never have lasted. She fell short of being good and was totally rude. I will never recommend this dealer to anyone ...stay away

I bought my 2009 Toyota Corolla at Lia Toyota and wanted to go back because my check engine light was on. Actually, the local garage thought I would be covered by my warranty because I such the low milage (19,700). When I got to the dealership they were going to look into it. I finally got a call saying my car was ready, I was confused because I hadn't heard back about the warranty. I go down tto the dealership not feeling well to get my car and when I got there they hadn't even worked on my car. They did though give me a rental because of their mistake. When the car was finally ready I went to the dealership and that is when I found out my car wasn't under warranty. They charged me way more than I expected and then they told me they wouldn't accept my check. I was worried and asked if I could call my bank they told me their phones were all tied up. Right after leaving the dealership I was worried about why my check did't go through so I went to my bank. The bank told me that it was the dealerships machine. I am 80 years old and dont appreciate being pushed around. I dont trust them and I will not go back.

I set out to find a replacement vehicle for my old truck. I encountered Adam Chiasson (sp) at Lia. I explained my needs to him and he set out to find me a vehicle. After about two weeks, I was unable to find a used vehicle that met my needs and was within my budget. I decided to put it off for while. Adam was very understanding and there was zero pressure to make any kind of purchase. When my truck finally died, I went back to Lia, found Adam, and discovered the Toyota Venza and it met all my needs. Adam was very helpful and took care of all my questions and concerns. He made me and my family feel comfortable and not pressured to buy until I was ready. He is a great asset to Lia and should be commended for his great attitude and his efforts on my part. When the deal was done and I came in to sign the paperwork, the finance manage (Al) was also great to deal with. He was friendly, open to questions and made the final process very smooth and quick. I would recommend Lia and Adam in particular to anyone looking for a vehicle and wanting to be treated fairly and honestly.

I came in while travelling with a recently purchased Toyota Certified used vehicle with a "comprehensive" certified used warranty. I had two problems, one of which (a creaking sound in the rear) they diagnosed and fixed according to a notice from Toyota. For the other problem (pulling to the left) they merely repeated an alignment which had just been done a few days before and I had explicitly told them was not the problem. They claimed they couldn't find anything else. I was charged $212 in "diagnostic fees" for these problems and was told my warranty did not cover them. I was told that my warranty was not "bumper to bumper" as the dealer I bought it from in VA told me, and that it does not cover "body parts" which is how they classify the rear window tabs that were the source of the noise, and it does not cover alignments (irrelevant because I told them to look for a problem other than alignment). They claimed this is what Toyota Extra Care said and there is nothing they can do about that. I showed the warranty document I was given that says it is a "comprehensive" one year warranty and mentions no exclusions. They refused to respond to this point, continuing to simply say that it was up to Toyota Extra Care, and suggesting I seek reimbursement from the original dealer in VA. It was maddening to have to pay out of pocket for this and hope for reimbursement from another dealer when it clearly should have been covered. I asked for the number to talk to Toyota Extra Care directly and was instead given a number for "Customer Experience" - an office which also deferred to the judgment of Toyota Extra Care and tried to blame the original dealer and refused to react to the point that the document in my hand said "comprehensive" and made no exclusions. The online pamphlet for certified used warranties http://www.toyotacertified.com/ebrochures/toyota_certified.pdf also says "comprehensive" and makes no exclusions. I feel I am being lied to and cheated by Toyota and its dealers.

Searching for a good used car isn't an easy undertaking, I'd visited two Toyota dealerships and two used car lots before stopping in at Lia Honda on a Saturday afternoon. I appreciated the way nobody approached me and I could amble up and down the used lot without being hassled. Toward the end of my tour I spotted what I wanted-- a 2008 black Toyota 4Runner. Inside, I asked to see a sales rep and was introduced to Phil Reilly. He was low key, answered my questions and we were able to work out a deal. Who knows how much money a dealer makes; I don't, but I think Phil brokered an honest agreement.My only gripe with Lia is its coffee. The place should really get a Keurig single-serve, and should absolutely offer cream and milk instead of that powdery stuff that tastes like chalk. An assortment of the day's local newspapers to read would also be nice to read while waiting.I've had the vehicle for almost a week and am quite satisfied. I'm glad to have put in the effort that eventually led me to Northampton Toyota, which is about 35 miles from where I live in Northfield.

Phil Reilly is the best car sales person my husband and I have dealt with over the years in which we have purchased 9 new vehicles. I went back to Lia several times to drive the Rav 4 and really took some time to make my decision. Phil was extremely patient with me, answering my questions and doing it with a sense of humor. When I finally reached a decision, Phil was very accommodating in finding me the exact Rav that I wanted. He never tried to pressure me into a different car for a faster sale. Phil really knows his Toyotas and he went though a very thorough explanation of my new vehicle as well as all warranty information. I have been zapped by other (out of state) car dealers in the pastHowever, I cannot praise enough the professionalism of Sam (Sammy) Rahab and Lia Toyota of Northampton, MA. I left the dealer with no doubt I had the very best deal (it was very good) and an amazing support network that really cared about me and the Toyota product/name. I have owned Jeep (not good), Subaru (not much better), Honda (very good) and a few Ford trucks (Good). All were purchased from dealers. This Toyota experience is light years ahead of the other experiences. And, hey, I have to put in a good word for Vito the Sales Manager and Dave in Finance. I really enjoyed the buying a Toyota 4 Runner experience. Buying an auto can be so stressful and it is a business but these Toyota representatives go way above and beyond to make absolutely sure you are satisfied and every detail is taken care of.The process was clear. The options and offers were great. The support for even after market accessories was stellar. The facility is phenomenal, the Wi-Fi room, kids space, the AMAZING car care/service center is huge and you could eat off the floor. Even the bathrooms are above and beyond. I even enjoyed the eclectic music/atmosphere/areas and seating. Golly, this sound goofy. If you have bought a car before you may know what a contrast I am talking about here? I was in sales many years ago. It is not an easy job. This is a place that I could have worked at with pride. My expectations of the normal car sales experience was rocked.Bottom line, I have no problem recommending Lia Toyota of Northampton, Sammy Rahab and the whole crew.My only regret is not going to this dealer and Toyota sooner.

Buying from Phil was a wonderful experience! He was thoughtful and through, going over every option the car offered. The hands free and navigation are already coming in handy! I knew the car I wanted and he was able to get me in it immediately. Connie in the Business Office was also a pleasure, adjusting my options specifically for the type of work I do and mileage I drive. Phil Reilley is the salesperson who I dealt with. Since I was buying a Prius, there was a lot of time involved to show both me and my wife how to drive the car. He was great about taking each of us out separately and going for as long as we needed in order to feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend Phil to someone who is buying a Toyota. I can't comment on the service dept as I Have only had the car for 5 days.

The sales rep we worked with greeted us, made me feel comfortable with asking questions from the first contact, was very konwledgable, answered questions quickly and from a good understanding os the question and the info on the car, was open to my time line for buying a car, and did not pressure me to make a decision. When I was signing the sales agreement he was organized and clear; he took extra time to show me buttons, levers, and dials in the car, how to operate them and their various settings, letting me work them and not just pointing them out. After the first encounter, I made sure he would be there when I returned to test drive it and, finally, to buy it.

My previous car shopping experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth, so I wasn't expecting much at Lia but I was pleasantly surprised. I felt like I was a priority and my questions were answered honestly and all my needs were met. I didn't feel like I was being shmoozed. I would definitely refer customers to Lia.

Lindsay in service has been excellent to work with over the years. I have been taking my car to Lia Toyota of Northampton for service for close to 10 years and I have been extremely satisfied. We just purchased a new Prius iv from Lia Toyota; this is the third car we have purchased from Lia, and we continue to enjoy and appreciate our relationship with them. We first came to Lia Toyota several years ago for service on our car. Our experience with dealerships prior to this had been pretty negative, and we were honestly quite skeptical initially. On that first visit, Lindsay worked with us, and provided the BEST customer service we had ever received. It was because of her that we came back, again and again. Fast forward to today, when we purchased the Prius. Phil Reilley worked with us. With incredible courteousness, Phil listened carefully to what we said we were interested in, what we felt we could afford and what we hoped to receive on a trade-in. The result: Phil found the exact car we wanted at the price we hoped, and Lia gave us a very fair price on our trade-in. Connie helped us with all of the paperwork, as she did for the other two Toyotas we purchased. She is a true professional who treats us as friends, remembers what we prefer regarding options and had the paperwork completely ready when we arrived; she explains everything carefully and answers every question with patience. We remain appreciative of the great staff at Lia, from Lindsay to Phil to Connie, and to Brian and Chris in Service. THEY are the reason we will keep coming back.

My experience with Lia Toyota was certainly a good one, especially how I was treated pleasantly and professionally by Philip, Connie and Vito.I did my homework on line and was comfortable with the final agreement we came to.Philip was almost a pain making sure I knew all about the vehicle, describing every feature of the car in detail. Connie was great; it must take a small tree to cover all the paperwork. Vito, Philip and Connie were all good people to work with and I would definitely look to do business with them again.

I arrived on Saturday, February 12, 2011 in late morning and before 4pm with all sales requirements fulfilled I was on my way home. The process was very professional from beginning to end. Our sales rep. Joe Kaslauskas was great to work with as was the sales manager, Vito. We were able to agree on a price without any of the nonsense drama usually associated with buying a new vehicle at many dealerships. Joe followed through with all details and delivery of our new truck happened on time and it looking great as promised the following Tuesday morning. This purchase was a pleasure, we love our new Tacoma.

We had a great all around experience! This was the first new vehicle that we had purchased and we were very pleased by the fact that we did not feel at all pressured to make the purchase. Our salesman, Ryan was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful through the entire process. He gave us time and space to discuss things, and every oportunity to not make the deal if we were not comfortable.We had made an appointment ahead of time after contacting the dealership through the website, and found that they were ready for us when we got there (which is a far cry from what we found at another nearby Toyota dealer).The bottom line is that they made us feel comfortable. They worked with us on the price of the vehicle and the finacing so that we were able to make the deal in our comfort zone. There's that word again - Comfort.Thank You Lia of Northampton, I look forward to working with you over the life of my new Tacoma (which I expect to be a long one), and to doing buiness with you in the future.

Philip and Connie were enthusiastic, informative and very responsive. All my questions were answered promptly and completely. Philip took the time to teach us about the Prius's unique characteristics. The dealership went beyond my expectations to get the year and color Prius I was looking for. I felt the trade value was fair. He even took the careful measure to ensure our car interior was cleaned inside without chemicals, at our request. Connie explained our financing and the available options clearly. We walked away feeling like we had just found a dealership we would recommend to all of our friends. I look forward to working with them again when it is time for our family's next car purchase.

This was my first truck purchase and i have to say it was easy and very friendly. I live in NY and had been in contact through email and they bent over backwards to get me the truck i wanted with all the right options. I Have to say that i contacted many dealerships and they could not match the price that i got from Lia Toyota. I would buy from them again in a heart beat and would recommend them to anyone. I sold my car in NY and then hopped on a train to go and buy my new vehicle. The train was 2 hours late and the staff waited for me and ended up staying 2 hours past closing time to make sure i could get into my truck the next day and be able to drive home. Great experience and would use Lia of Northampton again.

There are too many good Toyota dealers out there, STAY AWAY FROM Lia.I used a "buyers service" to solicit price quotes on a new vehicle and provided very specific information on the options I wanted. Of the three dealers that immediately responded, Lia provided the lowest quote and contacted me by phone. They confirmed the model with options and the price and I made an appointment to come in and meet with the internet sale manager. Upon arriving at the dealership and presenting the quote they provided, the sales rep (no real interaction with Callihane at this point) proceeded to inform me that the quote only applied to vehicles on the lot, and they didn't have the specific one quoted. For an additional charge, they could find one and have it shipped. At this point I should have walked, but I had my detailed invoice numbers in hand and proceeded to haggle, eventually reaching an agreeable out-the-door price (many of the typical arithmetic and guilt games along the way, be very careful). Icing on the cake is Lia's policy of requiring a wait period for certified bank drafts to clear before transferring the vehicle. I was informed of this by the business manager who was pushing me to finance through Toyota. In short, "finance through us or you'll have to wait to pick up your new car"...INCREDIBLE! I've purchased four other new vehicles (including two Toyotas) with the exact same bank drafts and never seen this BS. Again, at mention of this I should have walked, no, run, for the door. Never again!!

After making an appointment with the internet sales manager, I arrived on time and asked for "Vito". Vito came out shook my hand and told a young girl to take care of me, he told me there was a skeleton crew on that day. The girl had me sit down and begrudgingly asked me personal information for her computer. She then told me the cars I was looking for were out in the parking lot. I asked her wasn't she going to show me and she got up walked me to the door and told me to look at the cars in the first row of the lot, then said hello to a man, who apparently she thought was a real customer. I don't know why I bothered to make an appointment. I drove home and called the fellow I made the appointment with and told him my experience. Total waste of time.

Lia will say anything to get you in the door. Sales Manager Nathan Cahillane spelled out the terms of the sale in a telephone conversation the day before, and when I arrived, suddenly those terms were no longer acceptable. He proposed an entirely new set of terms, ones that in my telephone conversation I had made clear that I wanted to avoid. Nathan did not deny what we had agreed upon over the phone, only that those above him were responsible for the change. He then took on a 'woe is me' demeanor as if he were the one who had been wronged. Interestingly, I had been led to believe that those above him had signed off on the deal. Two things added insult to injury. Nathan was aware that I was coming from a distance to purchase the car. Remarkably, one of the reasons for Lia being unwilling to go forward with the deal was that the bank check that I brought with me (at their instruction) might not be a legitimate check. It had the printed trademark of the bank as well as an elaborate watermark. This suggestion of forgery was clearly just a pretense on their part to change the terms of the agreement but it does show how far Lia will go to not honor agreed upon terms.I did try to contact General Manager Tim Cardillo and he would not return my call. In short, Lia Toyota in Northampton is the kind of dealership that give so many dealers a bad name. Simply put, they are not to be trusted. If you are looking for a place where you can rely on the representations of the Sales Manager, Lia is not the place for you.
