This is the 4th vehicle that I have purchased from the Liberty Group and the 3rd from Liberty Ford in Vermillion and Mike Amantea. I had gone in for routine service on my 2012 Escape, took a walk on the lot, and saw a new one I liked. I talked to Mike and they worked with me and I now have a 2017 Escape. Mike Amantea in sales is the guy to call! I called Mike early in the day and told him what I was looking for and when I arrived at the dealership the vehicle was detailed and ready to go. Picked up my 2016 Lincoln MKX on Saturday and received the red carpet treatment at Liberty Ford! I have been shopping for a new 2017 Explorer for a few weeks and have had poor sales service until I remembered Liberty Ford / Lincoln which I had purchased a Ranger from in 88. I went online to do my own search instead of allowing a close dealership find one for me after getting the run around. I found Liberty Ford's inventory and made the short trip to look at a unit that met my specifications. It was a hot and humid day and Patrick saw me looking through the Explorers and approached me even though I was in my work clothes and my appearance was rough to say the least. He was a very polite and personable salesman. He asked if he could be of assistance when I explained which particular unit that I was shopping to purchase.We spoke as friends and after about 10 minutes of gab, found the vehicle and a little more conversation I ordered the unit for the next day's pick up. I felt welcome and at ease at this dealership. The whole purchase experience was very fast compared to other places. Everyone was friendly and pleasant to deal and converse with. I will highly recommend this establishment to all that I meet. I have asked Patrick to keep an eye open for a F150 for my sister as she will not settle for anything else. I'm positive that he will locate a unit for her within a short time.

Although there is a Ford dealership within 5 blocks of our residence, we have NEVER had a positive experience with them. Thus, we decided to try Liberty Ford in Vermilion for service on our 2012 Focus. We were able to schedule an appointment within a couple days rather than wait weeks at the other dealer. The service staff was extremely helpful, courteous, and honest. Our car was repaired and ready for pick up at the time promised and even included a free car wash as well as other routine inspections. Although Liberty Ford is 25 miles from our home, they have earned our service business on our 2012 Ford Focus as well as our 2016 Ford Fusion. We also know where to shop when it's time for a new car! Our salesman, Mike Amantea was fabulous to work with. He took time to explain every detail for us and answered every question we had. This is an SUV that we have we been searching for and it is beyond our expectations. The finance manager we worked with, Rick Amador was also very pleasant to work with. Both our salesman and the finance manager were very understanding of our 2 year that was with us and made excellent accommodations to make sure he was just as comfortable as we were!! This was our first time at Liberty ford, and we will defiantly be coming back! We have lots of choices of dealerships closer, but it was well worth the 45 minute drive. Our salesperson, Patrick Wilson, was very friendly and helpful. I was torn between 2 vehicles and he was very patient while I was making my decision. Then he ensured the paperwork was done as fast as posible, so my husband would not be late for work. This was our best experience ever buying a vehicle.

I stopped in to the service dept without an appt. because of a nail in my tire. I asked if they could check to see if it could be patched. Laurie never flinched.. She checked it and said someone would take care of it. Naturally, the nail HAD to go in a section that was not able to be patched. So... Laurie checked and found they had one tire in stock. The guys took the time to change out the tire, even though I did not have an appointment. This service department is one of the best, most caring I've ever dealt with. They have always been there to help with what I need. Thank you!

Very friendly and honest staff. I purchased from Virginia, and did most of the transaction via phone and text message. Todd Pickens, Mike, and Ryan were great to deal with, and i was able fly in and pick the vehicle up. They picked me up at the airport and took me to the dealership; however, they had offered to deliver the car to me in Virginia, but I wanted to drive it back and enjoy the road trip. I would just like to say our over all experience at Liberty with Jeff was excellent. We currently make good money , but surely had difficult finding a place to except our credit. In the past we had to help my mother n law with certain issues driving us down financially. The payments may be high, but that is not at the fault of Jeff or Liberty in its whole. That is simply something we need to fix. However getting approved and being able to be in contact with Jeff our sales guy made are stress level that much easier as we were in desperate need of a car. We absolutely love the car and I beeing a detailing type of guy have big plans for this car. My wife shakes her head when I tell her what I can do with this car to even improve it more, but every car we owned I did the same and she was always happy with the results. Jeff kept us in the loop every step away at liberty and when we werent at liberty. I wish more could do this practice as on a customer side it helps. Sometimes customers cant fit into Liberty or any dealership hours for that matter. Being able to reach and ask questions while we were not present was great and a practice that should be followed by all dealerships across the board. Long story short we were very happy with Jeff even shared a common situation in our past, but overall it was great service from begining to the very end. Thanks Jeff and Liberty for making this happen in a troubled time for us..........

I only took my car to you guys as it was an emergency with my transmission light coming on. When the light came on, I though this has to be a known issue, however I don't ever recall seeing a TSB sent to me.I usually will only bring my car to Liberty for two reasons... Loved the car in the end. Only disappointment was when we arrived and saw the vehicle. Although there were photos online, they did not clearly show the damage on the car. The photos were taken where there was too much reflection in them to properly see the damage on the vehicle. We drove almost two hours from Detroit to purchase the car and were disappointed when we got there. That being said, Bruce, the salesperson, went out of his way to have the damage repaired and even delivered the car to us in Detroit.

I was in need of a new car and I wanted a clean Pre Certified car at a good price. Mike Amantea found exactly what I was looking for and gave me an excellent deal on my trade in. Liberty Ford is well known for giving you the most for your trade in and I was very happy with the deal they gave me. The 2012 Pre Certified Ford Focus I purchased looks like it's brand new as do most of their Pre Certified used cars. The warranty is just like purchasing a new car which was also a big plus on purchasing this car. If you're looking for a good deal on a used car I highly recommend Liberty Ford in Vermilion Ohio. Received a call from Liberty offering us a good deal on trading in our 2013 Escape. By coincidence we had been looking at a Ford brochure recently and we're getting interested in the Transit Connect Wagon which we thought fit our needs. From the moment I arrived, Bruce treated me like I was the only customer in the building and gave me his full focus. He listened to my needs, wants and expectations and documented them as we went through the process and in the end, made the deal.I was disappointed when I arrived home and noticed that there was a chip in my windshield. I assumed it was from the journey home, but found it that it was a previous repair. I did not see it when test driving because it was covered by the 2013 sticker on the windshield. I was concerned with the repair being compromised and causing further damage. The dealership has offered to help with the cost, but I do not have the funds to expend now.I am unable to fully enjoy my new car because I am worried about the necessary repair. I understand the dealer is in the profit business and I bought the vehicle used without a warranty. Operationally and mechanically I am pleased with the used vehicle I purchased from this dealership. That was the only negative for the experience at Liberty. I recommend Bruce and the dealership at Liberty to my friends and others that are looking for a quality experience for a quality vehicle. Bruce's knowledge, recommendations and accommodations for my vehicle purchasing needs was top notch.

Josh Forsythe was an excellent sales representative and Mike Pindroh in Finance was also tremendously helpful. Mike reached out to us, after we applied for financing on-line. He went over some numbers with us, and let us know how much car we could comfortably afford. We reviewed the inventory at all of the Liberty stores, on-line, and told him what cars we would be interested in seeing, and he had them delivered to the Vermilion store, so that we could see those --- in addition to the cars they had on the lot, there. Josh had everything lined-up when we arrived. We test-drove five cars/SUVs and settled on the 2014 Chevy Malibu. Three days later, we are still very pleased with the experience. Thank you.

I felt I got a fair amount on my trade-in. The only snag was an IT problem, which made the purchasing process seem longer than necessary. Felt like I was there about an hour longer than needed.

As Far as I'm concerned the Internet sales manager, Todd sold me the car. Jeff, who was the actual sale rep who took care of the deal would've lost the company money on 2 different occasions. I actually was on the way home when Todd called to fix the problem I had with the car as the transmission fluid was bone dry. When I brought it up to Jeff he cudnt even find where you check the fluids and a couple of the other guys in their mini offices went out to help, were quite rude with my fiance. Which come to learn after reviewing the car fax could have been because their repairmen just changed the cooling lines to the transmission a month before and most likely forgot to refill the fluids. The second time was after discussing with my fiance about the car and how it was dry I was very worried about the transmission. I drove an hour away for a car I was determined to drive off the lot. I was disappointed that this wasn't going to happen until Todd offered a warranty on the car to ease my mind. If it wasn't for Todd stepping in and doing what he needed to I would've walked out for the last time and went home. I just don't feel that either time when I spoke to Jeff that he was that enthusiastic to do what he needed to make the sale happen. He was willing to let me go home and contact me on that following Monday, knowing that Monday I wouldn't be interested.

Over all it was good. Sales person did tell me when I first looked at the truck, which was in the body shop at the time for rust repair, that the corrosion and clear coat on all four rims could be fixed, and he would take care of it. When I picked up the truck he told me that the rims could not be repaired and that the body shop cleaned them up the best that they couldThe rust repair made on the left quarter panel wheel well is already showing, I can see a spot weld and the new to old metal seem.

I had scheduled my Taurus for the routine oil change. The wait in the service waiting lounge was very nice. You can have coffee or tea and relax watching tv or read, whatever makes you comfortable. When finished, you get a detailed receipt of everything and if you have any questions they answer completely.I purchased my Taurus at Liberty because I like the location and I especially like their service department, they are very courteous in every aspect.I recommend Liberty to everyone!

My only complaint is, the mileage that I signed for is not what the odometer stated that I didn't realize until I was almost home. Almost 5,000 difference. However, I love the car!!

I'm a repeat customer only because they had the truck I wanted at the right price, I've bought from here before and when returned for service after the warranty ran out was treated poorly. I bought new truck with plow this time went home took plow off and lights didn't work, went to service only for them to tell me to take it to Cleveland where they had the plow put on, of course I made them do it and give me a loaner, when I came back to get the truck the next day it wasn't ready and no one bothered to call and tell me wasting my time yet again. Very very poor service dept, only interested in making money off of people. The whole buying process is a joke as well, they advertised one price only to get you in and tell you it was a misprint, then really beat me up on trade in. Thank goodness Lincoln pays them to keep up a high standard of appearance for their customers, at least they offer good coffee for free while you wait around forever!! At least my salesman Todd Pickens was decent about the whole affair.

I was in the market for a pre-owned vehicle. There were two that I was interested in. Mike A. the salesperson was very patient with my process for decision making. While I think I could have done better on the price, Chris said that was his bottom line (the price shown on the internet). I was offered (strongly) the option to purchase the extended warranty. I opted not to. I did feel a great deal of pressure to purchase one though. Made me think that maybe something was known to be wrong with the car? All in all it was a good process and I am pleased with the vehicle.

I just want everyone to know how happy we are. I purchased an Esape Titanium 3 months ago and were so happy not only with the car but the experience I bought another one Friday. From the facility to the entire staff these were the most easiest transactions I have ever had. They really listened and didn't sell me something I didn't need or wanted. We've all been there where we felt capitive like we were in the car tiwilight zone for hours till they thought they wore us down to give in. This was not what I experienced twice. It was a warm friendly,professional ,honest and straight forward experience. After signing my papers the finance manager found an error for taxes (because of the county difference) which worked out in my favor that saved me over 100.00. I got a fair trade in and a wonderful price. I have already recommended Liberty Ford to my clients, family and friends! I went back for a tutorial and brought them cookies for the staff. They knew me by name and was greeted with a hug! After being a Toyota person for years, and my father who worked for Ford for 30yrs I've come back to Ford and they are making a wonderful product! My wife Kim was in an accident that totalled our car. The other insurance company we responsible but all that takes time and we needed a car fast. I had a great experience. I would recommend Patrick. I was interested in a 1985 Corvette that they happened to have and I traveled over 7 hours to take a look at it. I was very nervous about looking at a car that old and then possibly driving it back 7 hours. From the moment i called they assured me that the car was in great shape and had no doubts that it would make the trip if i bought it. I then made the trip and I found that they had represented the car perfectly. It took a little bit to work out the details but they were very accommodating. Patrick even followed up to make sure the drive home went smoothly. You don't find dealers like this anymore.

We have purchased many Fords over the years and for the first time in a while we didn't come away from the buying experience feeling satisfied. Normally the salesman does a detailed demonstration of our new vehicle's various features on the car and this time it felt more like an afterthought with my wife only getting an overview on the features she asked about. After having the cannr for a week we are still finding features we had no idea the car had. I must also say that I was a bit disappointed in the trade in process and felt that we were kind of low balled on what they offered which was re-enforced once I discovered what they are selling it for. Live and learn I guess.

Purchased a new 2015 Focus Titanium after several failed attempts at other Ford dealerships (3) which just didn't seem like they wanted to sell one. With a huge amount of trepidation - I decided to (for the first time) buy a car from out of state- and buy it sight unseen. I was compelled to do this because after months of searching for my dream car I found only one east of the Mississippi and found it at Liberty Ford Vermillion. Also and almost more compelling was the asking price - already a great deal below my target! I dealt with Todd Pickens. We immediately established a sincere level of trust. He helped guide me through the process and frankly made the long-distance purchase a fun and exciting experience a refreshing change from some agonizing experiences I had dealing with local dealers. We negotiated a great deal without any unnecessary haggling and long story short in two days they hand delivered my car to my house and it was immaculate- perfect better than I had anticipated. Liberty Fords administrative and business side were also fast, detail oriented and accurate. I had been talking about buying a new F-150 for about a year. I went online at Liberty Ford in Vermilion and looked at their new trucks. Found one that I liked and sent an email to them. They contacted me and said the truck was at another facility, but would go get it if I wanted it. So off they went, and when I got off work I went to Liberty Ford in Vermilion and went for a drive in my New white F-150 truck. Great service. We did the paperwork and I drove home my new F-150. All my friends said you finally did it, you got your truck. So glad I did. This is the 2nd vehicle I have brought from Liberty Ford of Vermilion and I would recommend everyone to go there. Drove both an Escape and a Fusion. Loved the Fusion. We immediately noticed (& appreciated) that the general atmosphere at Liberty was one of "We're here to help you," and yet no pressure. Todd Pickens, our salesperson, was great! He was friendly, knowledgable, and went above & beyond in helping us reach a comfort level with our highly computerized new car. We (separately) sold our previous car to our daughter, and Todd even helped her with synching her phone to that car! The whole experience was smooth and positive. I went into the dealership on a Saturday morning and left a couple hours later with my brand new 2015 fusion. I was very pleased with the whole process. My salesperson was Jay Strauss. I can not say enough about Jay. He was awesome throughout the whole process. He did his best to work me into my first car, and did it with the best deal possible. Being a student, it's hard to get your own car, but Jay made this possible for me. So if you are planning on getting a car, I recommend taking a drive over to Liberty ford in Vermilion and asking for Jay Strauss, you won't be let down.

I received information in the mail regarding extra incentives on trading my 2012 Ford Focus, so I began looking for a left over 2014 F150. Todd Pickens had emailed me with many options for trucks I was interested in. Liberty ended up dealer trading a truck from elsewhere to seal the deal. Unfortunately when processing the trade, a rebate/offer was missing on my vehicle account. Todd and myself spent over 2 hours at the dealership on the phone with corporate trying to sort the issue that was a large mess to say the least. One draw back was being in the show room, you can hear the guys at the riser talking about what is going on. I overheard them speaking about my case pointing to me being dishonest about the rebate offer, or my mom having "amnesia" about using this offer elsewhere. (My purchase makes the third purchase in my family at Liberty in 2 years totaling over $100,000 in business.) Fortunately Todd stuck by my side and Ford BAC was able to add the rebate offer after a couple days and we were able to finalize the deal on the new truck, trading in my car. Todd was great to work with, easy to understand and quick to respond in several routes of contact. The repairs were given 4 stars because they did the Focus tran mission recall but didn't test drive it afterwards. The service department was quick to get me back in and the problem addressed completely. Otherwise everything went very well, my advice for the guys on the riser would be to watch what you say, because people want to do business with an honest dealership and hearing senseless negative chatter about the customer or his family takes alot away from all the good Liberty has to offer.

This was our first purchase of a new car in 35 years and it was a wonderful experience thanks to our agent, Todd Pickens! We were referred by a person that I worked with in Lorain and we drove the hour drive to Liberty Ford in Vermilion. Before going to the dealership, I spoke with Todd on the phone and by doing that he and most especially my husband and I knew what we wanted. When we got out of the car there it was the Ford Focus in the OSU silver color! Fell in love before we drove it! From the time we walked into the car dealer until we left, there was nothing but kindness and most importantly knowledge. We leased a 2015 Ford Focus and love driving it. I do drive 50 minutes each way to work and to know that I will get there each day without a problem is important to me. My husband loves the Focus as well, when I let him drive it! Just kidding! We cannot say enough great things about Mike Amentea. He is a TOP NOTCH salesman but doesn't act like a salesman. Never pushy but always ready and willing to help us find just what we need. The internet sales manager, Todd Pickens, was very helpful when I emailed the dealership requesting information. We traveled about 75 miles to look at the vehicle, so a return trip to pick-up the vehicle would have been an inconvenience. They were able to obtain financing, complete the paperwork, repair a small dent, touch-up a few blemishes, and get us on our way with the vehicle in about 4 hours.

I stopped by Liberty Ford Lincoln in Vermilion to look at new cars. I had been driving the same car for 10 years and it was time for an upgrade. The staff at Liberty were great from start to finish. I test drove a Fusion with a very positive experience and liked the car so much that I decided to get it right away. The process from then on out was simple. We discussed payments and they matched what I wanted to pay with a car that fit. I am completely satisfied with the car and the follow-up service from the staff after the purchase was convenient. They are eager to fix or attend to any problem that you might have and are very professional in doing that.

I really like the car. I couldn't get them to budge on the price, which caused me some buyer's remorse. However, it was a good car and worth the price. Our salesman was a nice guy, though he bored my girlfriend to tears with stories of drag racing for a half hour while we waited for the financing guy to get done. He's like most salesmen; talks way too much. Other than those two issues, we were in and out, and it was a good deal on a nice car. They did set me up with a remote start (which turns off when I open the door?), as well as some trinkets to fix the front license plate holes (we don't need those in Michigan.) The color wasn't white or pearl as pictured, That's what happens when you buy a car from the internet. Overall, a good place to buy a car. You don't get a whole lot better than Vermilion Ford.

I walked in hesitate as I knew from my past that dealing with dealerships are time consuming, and stressful. I was immediately greeted with smiles and warm introductions, which was definitely a surprise and breath of fresh air. I also was weary because I had a used vehicle in which I planned to trade and still owed on and assumed it would be quite the disappointment when it came to getting it appraised. I dealt with Omar Silmi and he was very kind and quickly asked what I wanted and gave me tons of options for my price range and expectations. I finally came across a 2010 Ford Taurus Limited in which I test drove and fell in love with. I had in mind I would not get the price I wanted because it seemed as though it was way out of my league. But, after dealing with Omar and Steven Lawson they proved to me NOTHING is impossible! My used vehicle in which I was trade in got appraised for way more than I could've imagined and I got the Taurus for exactly what I wanted! These two men are extremely dedicated to giving people exactly what they want, instead of the regular statistic of dealerships giving people what the dealership feels the people should get to benefit them. I am so pleased with this dealership that I will continue to go to them and have already spread the word to countless numbers of people on this place being the only option to choose when getting a car. As always I experience an excellent leasing process. For the last twenty five years, I have leased my cars. My agent takes me through each step thoroughly. I learned every car lease is indiviual. He provides me with the utmost information and answers my questions. Subsequently, if we need to take another course of action he does so. Once I'm satisfied he most assuredly wraps up my lease. Mike Amantea and Norm Schultz at Liberty Lincoln in Vermilion did an excellent job of finding me another Lincoln MKC exactly like the one I had only in a different color. They searched extensively and kept me updated on their progress. when Mike called me to say he found one two states away, I was so happy. When I picked up my vehicle, Norm Schultz went over every button and switch so I would be comfortable driving this vehicle. What a great group of sales people and also a big welcome back to Rick Amador who also sold me a Lincoln at one time. I have to say that i have never been to a dealership to buy a car in my life, always bought my car out right from private owner. So my thoughts were going in a little bias. I thought the people were going to be cut throat hunters just wanting a sale and not really worried about what i want. Well i was totally wrong! When I went to Liberty Ford in Vermillion they were welcoming, kind and seriously like family. I was looking for the right SUV and they worked so hard for me, but then i wasn't able to get it, but that was all on me, and since my boyfriend just got a beautiful Ford Explorer from liberty the week before i figured i didn't need the SUV i could just get a sedan with great mileage.. So i told Todd and Rick what i was Now looking for and you know what, Liberty Made it happen. I told them my budget and all that i wanted and they gave me this Beautiful 2012 White Ford Fusion. It has great MPG, awesome Space and New Technology! I will always go to the people that treated me like family and who worked so hard to get me into a beautiful vehicle! They will always get my business and many friends of mine!

this is my second purchase at liberty ford vermillion and I highly recommend this facility. My salesperson, Bob Hug treated me like I was his first priority, even though he was very very busy with many other clients. I was able to trade in my vehicle and get a very satisfactory deal. It was truly "one stop shopping". I made an appointment, drove the new car, said "ill take it" , signed paperwork and left with my new vehicle....license plates transferred and a full tank of gas!! All the pages and pages of paperwork were very nicely organized and explained by the finance department in the person of Danny McCall. I suggest if you are car shopping, give Bob Hug a call. Tell him what you and just wait for his call.... easy, no pressure and a fair deal. truly stress free shopping.

I must be driving my salesman, Mike Amantea nuts....but he always finds what I want. People say "you love the looks of the Flex or you hate it".....drive one, you'll love it. Can't beat the room inside, quietness, comfort and the visibility in this crossover. The AWD is very impressive, no need to worry about Northeast Ohio weather in this baby. Once again my hat is off to Mike Amantea and Adam May for finding this gem for me. Service Dept. and Parts are outstanding, I would not go anyplace else. My only complaint....need a coat hook in the bathroom!!!! PS. coffee is the greatest

Once again Mike Amantea and the Liberty staff came through for me again....Just bought a new Flex a couple of months ago...traded in my 14 focus...Wife missed her "dog car"...so back to the dealer. With the help of Mike Amantea and Adam May, my wife now has her new dog car, 2014 Cmax. Just love the car. I don't know why people are knocking the fuel mileage....we've been getting 38-47 mpg. I've been dealing at Liberty since 1977 and will continue. No better place. The entire Dealership is top notch and if they don't have what you want, they will get it.

I was looking for a certified Lincoln MKX and had found Liberty Ford in Vermilion had several UCV. We met with Todd who had recommended I take a look at the red MKX which I was not in favor of buying a red vehicle. Of all the new Ford and Lincoln vehicles we have purchased, the last seven in a row have been from Liberty in Vermilion. We have seen no reason to go anywhere else. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Thew facility is clean, and they have a large inventory. Very importantly, there has never been any pressure to make a purchase. There is absolutely no hassle when they have to get a specific vehicle from some other dealership's inventory. We've made seven new vehicle purchases from Liberty and will undoubtedly be back for our next purchase.

We have been dealing with him for the past years & would not go to anyone else. He is great. He listens to what we want in a car & finds us this car. He doesn't try to pressure us into getting a car with all kinds of options that we don't want or need. He makes car buying very easy. He showed us the car on Monday & we drove it out of the dealership on Tuesday. Very easy procedure. We would highly recommend Liberty for anyone looking for a new car.

I went in to the dealership,explained what I wanted to do. Omar my sales person listened said he would get it done. He did too! My husband had seen a used 2008 F-250 he wanted to go and see. He called and spoke with Todd over a weekend. At the time, someone else was interested and was coming to take a look at it. We figured if it was meant to be Todd P. will contact us and let us know it's still available. We did receive a call from Todd that afternoon and asked if we were still interested, he would hold the truck for us on Monday. So, my husband and I took a road trip from Michigan to Liberty Ford in Ohio, 2+ hours away to see the truck. We were greeted by Todd P. who was very kind and easy to work with. Made you feel very comfortable. Todd showed us the F-250 took it for a drive and we were not disappointed one bit!! It was exactly as the picture had shown and even better in person! We purchased the truck that day and drove it home. Our experience with Todd and Rich couldn't have been better. After we drove it home we noticed it was leaking transmission fluid. We took it in to our local Ford dealership to have them take a look at it. Long story short, the dealership said that the hoses needed to be replaced. My husband spoke with Todd explained the situation and then the two dealerships spoke to each other regarding the repair. Todd said to my husband when you get the bill send it to him and they would pay half of the repair. Liberty Ford was not obligated to pay anything since it was a purchase "as in" condition but they paid half!! Thank you Todd! That right there says it all about the type of service and commitment they have to their customers. :)

I found a great deal on a slightly used 2014 Ford Focus with lots of extras for the price a new SE without the bells and whistles. I emailed Liberty Ford through their web site, but they never responded so I called. The sales guy Bob Hug gave me an out-the-door price within the first 30 seconds of the conversation that I had to jump on. I secured my own financing and had the vehicle delivered to my home where I signed the paperwork. It was such a pleasant experience that I will purchase all of my future vehicle this way. I took delivery without even test driving the car. I did not feel it was necessary seeing as I had driven a Ford Focus before and this car only had 5,000 miles on it. However this did prove to be a mistake on my part. While the dealership swears up and down that the Pre-Certified Used Car inspection was conducted, I have 2 issues with their statement. 1) The car smelled of cigarette smoke upon delivery (vinegar works to remove that). So much so that my 3 year old son vocalized is dislike of the smell. and 2) There was garbage in the car. Bob Hug made a half hearted attempt to appease my frustration with the situation, but in the end he wouldn't even replace a $25 cabin air filter. I would purchase from them again, but I would refuse delivery next time if the car was not in the condition that the Pre-Certified Used Car inspection stated it should be in.

My sister referred me to Norm Schultz because she was so happy with his sales and service. I was trying to decide first of all if I wanted to lease a New Vehicle, and then which vehicle would work best for me. Fusion or Escape? Norm went over the lease deals,features and benefits of each vehicle, and then had me test drive each. Didn't take me long to decide which I preferred, from there Norm got me through all the paperwork, financing, the Escape prepped & ready to go. Then he took the time to go over all the whistles and bells on the vehicle. Couldn't be happier with the customer service I received! So far (it's only been 4 days) I am completely satisfied with the performance of the Escape and truly enjoy driving it!

First new car in a few years. We decided to come to Liberty for our new Edge because it is close to home. So glad we did. They bent over backwards for us. As we had some MUST HAVES and HAVE NOTS it wasn't an easy thing to do. They finally found us the ONE......... We love it. Have only had it for a short time but know we made the best decision for us. Ron Harris our salesman has been great. He knew the answers to all of our questions and if he wasn't sure he found out.Don't know how long it will be but when it's time for our next new vehicle we will be back.

I recently drove out to Ford Lincoln in Vermilion, OH. This was a hour drive for me from my home town Strongsville. I had some correspondence with a sales rep on looking at a vehicle in stock. Todd was very friendly and courteous back through out the whole process. His communication prior, during, and after our purchase was exactly what i was looking for in my opinion. After three days of trying to find my Flex and me running out of patients, Mike came through for me again. I wouldn't buy from anyone or any other Dealership than, Mike and Liberty Ford. Bought a 2011 F-350 Dually Diesel and traded it in (after 550,000 miles) on a new F-350, hope to get as many miles as my first one. Liberty's Service Dept. always got me in and out in record time. This may have been the best car car buying experience I've ever had. I had an "idea" of what I was looking for. Norm Schultz (to whom I was refered) was fantastic to work with. He helped me sort though all my wants and needs until we found the car for me. Absolutely no pressure. There were specific financial goals I wanted to accomplish. I recently purchased a 2012 Ford Escape (November 3rd) and I must say it is a wonder full vehicle. Mike Amantea was the salesman that sold it to me. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and was very patient when I asked a million and one questions lol. I was going back and forth about if I should purchase the vehicle. This is my very first car and he made the process very easy and understandable. There wasn't a question he didn't know the answer to. The whole staff was very nice and I felt very comfortable. As an added bonus, they actually drove the car to me when I decided to buy because I was unable to go to them because of my work schedule. I greatly appreciate all they did to get me this vehicle. My parents purchased my first car for me when I was 16 from Liberty Ford in Vermilion OH, almost 9 years ago from Mike A. Yesterday, I purchased my first car as an adult that I am paying for on my own! Mike made the process very efficient and seamless. He also explained the ins and outs of purchasing a vehicle as this was my first big purchase and there was a lot to learn. This dealership has always had excellent customer service and they make you feel comfortable stepping into their facilities. It becomes a two way communication process-rather than feeling like you are being attacked by sales people. The finance department did a great job as well on getting me the best deal and explaining warranties quickly. They recommended the best choice for me and my financial capabilities rather than pushing items on me that I did not need. I would highly recommend this dealership! Mike A. was amazing along with several of the employees, who interacted with us while there and made not only me, but my parents feel at home.

Working with Brandon Fitzpatrick over at Liberty Ford has been a wonderful experience About a month ago was the first time that I stopped in to look at a New Navigator. I was not able to get the payments where i wanted them. I received a thank you letting in the mail from Brandon for stopping in. Witch was really nice of him. Monday of this week I got a call from Brandon, telling me that they just got a Use 2014 Navigator in on trade and that he things I would really like it. He said " this truck is ALL YOU!!!" So I came in to look at the used 2014 and fell in love with the truck. He was able to work with me to get my payments where i wanted them, and pushed the management team to get me what i wanted out of my trade. I recently wrecked my vehicle during the bad weather we were having, and consequently it was totaled. I was given a check by my insurance to purchase another vehicle. I saw a listing at the Vermillion location of Liberty Ford for a vehicle nearly identical to the one I lost at a very reasonable price. I was there for maybe an hour and drove off the lot with the vehicle. I could not have asked for better service. The staff was extremely courteous and even discounted the vehicle significantly from the already fair offer. This was incredibly helpful in a time where I was a little distraught over having to unexpectedly purchase a new vehicle. It's really nice when a dealer can come up with a sale that is fair to both parties. I thank them for their service and look forward to doing business with them again in the future.

I contacted Liberty Ford as I was interested in a demo Flex they had. I received a call from a salesman named Al. I stopped in the next day,a Friday evening about 20 minutes before they closed. Al showed me the car, which was filthy, not even washed, had a dent in it, a can of reddi whip and other trash on the inside. Mind you this is a demo they are selling as new. I was still interested as Al said they would fix the dent, etc. He must of thought I was stupid as he said it had just been turned in as it reached its demo life in mileage, 6000, yet it has been on their website for quite some time for salem with the correct demo mileage. I asked for the price it was selling for. He said no managers were there but would call me on Saturday to tell me their asking price. I said that was fine and I left. I received no call Saturday. I called Al on Monday, on his cell and at the dealership, and left two messages. I received no return call. I sent an inquiry thru the Internet to their dealership, and no response. Extremely poor customer service! Do not waste your time going to this dealership!

Hello! I just bought a 2006 Buick Lacrosse CXL yesterday. I talked to Mike Amantea over the phone for a couple days about this Buick. It is a little scary when you have to drive almost 200 miles to see the car in person. I live in pittsburgh and they are in ohio. They kid me about the STEELERS as I kid them about the BROWNS. For a 2006 Buick it was in better shape than you could imagine. Mike was so up front with me. He checked it over more than once the condition of the car as did his fellow workers. I thought they were going to get mad at me for asking questions but they were nothing but kind and helpful. I just couldn't believe my eyes when he showed me the car he had outside waiting for me to look at. Well to make a long story short I think I bought one of the nicest 2006 buick lacrosse's around at a unbelievable price. I don't think I will buy a car off of anybody but Mike Amantea. My salesman was awesome. I am from Michigan so most of our dealings were by phone or e-mail. Mike was always attentive and responded in a very timely fashion. Our decision process took about 10 days and he never grew impatient. The day we went down there to pick up the car it was detailed, gased up and ready. I am in the market for a new vehicle . I contacted liberty ford (Todd) and let him know what I was looming for and my current situation via email. I was advised to fill out a credit application and he would get Back to me . I filled out the application , followed up to make sure that He received it . He informed me he did and was waiting to Get with the financing manager . I never heard back from the dealership. In my opinion the least they could have done was a Follow up with me , which they didn't even after pulling My credit report .

This is the second time I have purchased a new car from Liberty Ford Vermilion. Mike Amantea is my salesman. He is very nice and helpful. All of the people I had contact with during the process were very nice. The facility is clean but there is really no place for the customer to relax while waiting for the salesman or to talk in private. That is why I gave the facility only 3 stars. As with any car purchase do your research, know what you want and stick to your guns!

Went to look at and possibly purchase a used vehicle the wife and I were VERY interested in. I get to the dealership and make my way over to the vehicle. Look around it kick the tires, etc. Then I wait....and wait...and wait. After 30 minutes of standing by the vehicle I decide I have had enough. As I am making my way to my car, a guy who doesn't even work there asked me if I needed help. There just happened to be a salesman on the lot writing on a clipboard not even with a customer. i responded loud enough for the salesman to hear, "No I am good. I waited 1/2 an hour. I wanted to buy that SUV but now I am going somewhere else." I should note this was a Monday morning and I was the only customer on the used car lot at the time. The day before the wife and I were looking and went to 4 dealerships, 3 of which were open and within minutes of stepping on their lots, were greeted and welcomed by salesmen. Very disappointed as one of my relatives used to work there and and have had family buy several vehicles from there. I will not be returning.

"Pleasure" is not normally a word we associate with a car-buying experience, but I just completed the purchase of a car I found online at Liberty Ford Lincoln of Vermilion, OH, and I have to say it was one of, if not the, most pleasurable buying experiences I have ever had. My salesman, Mike Amantea, established contact with me immediately upon an indication of interest, answered all of my questions in a timely manner - even late at night, and had the car clean and ready for delivery after I drove 4 1/2 hours to get it. This kind of treatment - even though I wasn't buying a new Navigator, but a 10-year old Town Car. I ended up purchasing a slightly newer Town Car that fit my tastes a little better and I could not be happier with the selection of vehicles and the treatment I received from Mike and the other staff at Liberty Ford Lincoln Vermilion. I contacted Rick Amador at Liberty Ford via email. I received a reply shortly thereafter. He invited me to come in and take a look at some of the Fusions. Since I was coming from the Port Clinton/Oak Harbor area, he even offered to pay for my gas on the way home. Rick gave me plenty of time and freedom with the vehicle, and I ended up really enjoying it. He went to bat for me in negotiating a deal, and I ended up walking out with a Fusion. It is obvious that Rick is passionate about his work. He assisted me with the Sync program and chit-chatted with me well after our deal was done. I would recommend this dealer to my friends and look forward to working with Liberty Ford in the future.

I stopped in from out of town on a Saturday when my quickly failing older car was in disarray. I was looking to purchase a car immediately as I had been looking at Ford's with my husband and was quite familiar with what we needed. Being a fairly liberated woman, I was taken back by the rather demeaning tone of the salesperson. Perhaps they are not comfortable dealing with females. I left insulted and purchased a vehicle from another Ford dealer about 10 minutes away. The experience left me sad most of the day.

Mike Amantea was very professional and courteous. Excellent customer service as we drove two hours to pick up the vehicle. We purchased a pre-owned Escape and are very happy with the vehicle and the process. The facilities are not child friendly as some dealerships have better equipped designated child areas to occupy the kids while Mom and Dad are making a large purchase. Otherwise we were offered beverages and comfortable with the staff and office.

He drove the car to our home (20 miles from the dealership), spent nearly an hour with us explaining how to use all of the cars features, and brought all of the paperwork for us to complete. I simply phoned Rick Amador with a description of what I was looking for, he found the vehicle (a F350 4X4 diesel)and had it on the lot the next day. He pre-prepared all of the paperwork for me and called to arrange an appointment time for me to come in. I came in and signed all 357 forms (including the financials)and was out the door in less than an hour with a full tank of fuel. Rick makes the whole car buying experience enjoyable and is respectful of your time and budget. Rick exeplifies what a salesman is supposed to do: help the customer choose what is right for them, not "sell" them something. This is the fourth vehicle we have bought and/or leased with Liberty, and with each transaction, the experience just gets better. Thanks Rick, we will be in soon to trade the Edge in.

My experience with the Liberty dealership in Vermilion was excellent. I have not purchased a car that I found online in the past, always buying from a local dealership. I was a little nervous about the condition of the car, would the price online be the price when I got to the dealership, etc. However, I had nothing to worry about. Everything went very smoothly. The condition of the car and the price was as advertised. The salesman I had an appointment with was tied up with another customer, so he immediately got another salesman to work with me. I appreciated the fact that they were respectful of my time. They have called twice to follow-up with me to be sure everything is working correctly and I don't have any questions about how the features of the car work. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Ford or a Lincoln.

The customer service I received at Liberty Ford, Vermilion, "HMMMMM", was outstanding. Erin was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Sean, in the lease finance department was also friendly, efficient and very good at what he does....he even understood that I was under time constraints thus I returned later in the day to complete the paperwork on the second of my two leases, AFTER having stayed until 10 PM the night prior, preparing my paperwork. My visit to Ford Liberty in Vermilion Ohio was very home coming to me had avery nice time speaking to everyone about the vehicle i was interstested in it was a nice in service and they new the history of the vehicle and the sales people were very helpfull and kind and patient with everything in the process for all the steps to purchasing the car.

After I went to the dealer for repair on my former vehicle, the repair cost along with other factors and higher mileage motivated me to look for another vehicle. I spotted one that I liked, and they did a good job preparing the transition for puchasing the other used vehicle.

The overall experience was really good. All of the salesmen and the manager were all very family friendly and made sure that we were comfortable and taken care of as we shopped with our infant in hand.

Rick Amador was a our dealer. He was AMAZING! My husband and I walked in, with the usual skepticism, even though Rick came highly recommended to us. We were more than pleased with the service he provided. He listened, walked us through the process, was extremely patient with all of our questions and built trust in us that he would do his best. He gave more than his best and we drove away that day with a brand new 2012 Ford Focus!!! We leased the vehicle, but we haven't had a new car since 1999. We have spent that past few years working to pay off debt and didn't think ANY creditor wanted to touch us since we had nothing new reporting on or either of our credit bureau reports.
