Danny was excellent.. very honest with me about my car and what needed to be done. He could have charged me $400 for a service I actually requested but called to let me know that it was not needed. I also liked the fact that I received a video link starring my own car and a technician describing the necessary repairs!

Further, the car was ready as promised and even detailed and when I say detailed this car was spotless from head to toe and it felt like a new car all over again. The people. The dealership employees from my sales guy to the manager and in particular the finance man Tony really understood where I was at financially and did everything to get me a deal I was comfortable with. The following day when I returned and was anxious and having second thoughts they made further adjustments that solidified how I felt about them and the deal I was getting. I've been to many VW dealerships to look for a new GTI but honestly there was just something unique about these guys. These guys are legitimate and professional. They're not looking to rip you off like any other dealer. I dealt mainly with Mike Ramirez and Mike Blendar the sales manager a.k.a "The Blender". I also talked to Chris Harper for a little; he walked me through the purchase procedure. If I buy another GTI or maybe even buy a Golf R I'm definitely coming here. The whole process didn't take long at all. It was really smooth. Me having the same name as them really helped in making the deal go well. Also shout out to Ryan who helped finalize the deal.

Called dealer to see if they could help getting out of current vehicle spoke to someone who advised me to do a credit app on their website I filled it out and was told someone would call me never heard from anyone called dealer again was told the sales person would get back to me never heard from anyone called again was told sales person would be in later was told again would here from him nothing again called back was told sales person is gone for the day I explained the situation was told I have to come up with a lot of money with a very unprofessional person on the phone they advertisement is a crock very unprofessional would never want to do business with this dealer

I liked the VW Service associate. The one that handled the paperwork and greeted me. I want to say her name was Ellena... I told her I had to be in Hoboken for a doctors appointment at 1:30, and it she's was able to get me out of the dealership quickly - while informing me of everything that was going on the vehicle. She is a very hard worker. Very on the money, and could tell she was highly organized. I even saw her carrying a set of heavy tires and rims at one point! As some one that works in HR, I have to say I was impressed with what I observed while I was waiting for the car to be serviced. The woman that helped me make the appointment was also very helpful. I had a friendly chat with her about Vermont and maple syrup. She showed me this really great cataluge where I can order VW accessories and gear from. I never knew VW made so many cool items! Washington the entire and interior rubber mats was also a nice touch.

Went to linden VW ultimately to have my apr software reflashed. While I was there, figured I'd do all my extended warranty work. They found that my water pump was NOT changed on the recall but was entered into the system that it was. They immediately called VW of America to sort out everything to get the correct part and info into the system. Very informative staff. Couldn't ask for any better. Wish I had bought my car from them. It's a shame I have to drive 2 hrs to a reputable dealership that I can leave my car and not worry or wonder. You guys were awesome!

I recently spoke to a representative from this dealership ,her name was Jasmine .I inquired about a specific used vehicle they listed for sale on there website,. She put me on hold to check on this vehicle because she wasn't sure if it was still in service getting checked in ,so after being put on a brief hold for approximately 1 min she informed me the car was was in service and available for me to see ,so then I asked her is it able to be test driven I live approximately 45 minutes or so away she assured me yes it was .I arrived at the dealership to see the vehicle ,she proceeded to tell me that the car isnt available ,that it's in the body shop getting work done on a fender ,and that she called me to tell me ,now I was on my way to the dealership so I didn't get the message I feel she was supposed to check while i was on hold so I wasted over an hour and a half driving to see a car that was supposed to be ready for a test drive but wasn't there . and this car shows a clean car fax report so why is there work being done on the fender ? .So i was left with a bad impression of this dealership I tried to call Ken Pescatore on monday around 630 the buisness answering machine said you were closed so I hung up ,I then checked the website and it showed you were open , So then I called back , after listening to the message I selected the option to leave a message for sales and a person answered I asked for you and was told your left for the day . I tried again the following day I spoke to Talia, she put me on hold or should I say attempted to put me on hold and hung up on me .I called back again a gentleman answered i asked for you and he put me through to a guys voice mail either rich or rick I believe , so I called back again spoke to a guy he said he could'nt understand me so he passed me onto another guy he informed you left for the day I demanded to talk to the highest customer service person there he told me that would be Wayne Schey but he was busy , I told him it was about a dealer review i left , and about these new issues I will be adding , he told me he will give wayne the message to call me right back , well no call back ... I cant be the only one this happens to April 27 20015 I saw I had a missed call from the dealership , so i called back tried to speak with ken yet again I was told he was gone for the day , so i asked to speak with wayne schey. , Wayne listened to my complaints and concerns assured me he will look farther into it , and apologised for my experience, he asked if I was still interested in the car , I said no.I will never shop or recommend this dealership to anyone ,if it was one issue yes I understand , but to be treated this way by different people , brings me to think how would they treat me AFTER they get my money ??

I am 67 years old having purchased more than 26 cars from various dealers and brands throughout the nation. My experience with Linden was excellent the way they especially JR treated up from showing the cars and finalizing the deal to our Satisfaction. The same was the case with Mike Bender (Finance) at the closing formalities that did not last more than 25 minutes. At no time I felt being pressed to take any of the extended insurance coverage though I did take all. I highly recommend this dealer and favor JR & Mike to work with. Firstly, I need to stress that I don't typically write reviews or recommend services like this. I just purchased a new 2016 VW from VW Linden today and it couldn't have been any less painless - I know how difficult it can be finding people you can trust in the auto industry and I just felt that it was an experience that deserved to be shared. I had an appointment this afternoon to potentially trade in my current VW Passat for a new one. To begin, I've always had a great experience with my current car through Linden VW. Service appointments have been so easy and painless - To date, I have never dealt with anyone associated with this dealership who has been anything less than accommodating and friendly. When I walked in today, I was greeted by the individual with whom I was in touch with over the phone. He introduced me to John Rivera, a Sales Consultant, who took me to an office to discuss trading in my vehicle and buying a new one. I consider myself a responsible and well-read buyer, and am always put-off when sales associates [in any industry] try to push the hard sell and base their approach on the assumption that they are in a position of power and I will be susceptible to sales "tricks." Not only did John avoid that approach, but he took the time (altogether, 5 hours of his day) to walk me through all of my options and do so in a very behind-the-scenes kind of way; I understood how they arrived at their offers, but never felt like I was being pushed into a sale. At the outset, I informed him of what I was planning to spend, both in terms of money down and a monthly payment. John, as well as the dealership's Sales/Finance Manager, Mike Bendar, provided me with several different options for payment, always cognizant of my pre-set spending goal. After a few conversations, they were able to get me to exactly where I wanted to be in the transaction, both from a money down and monthly payment perspective. Not only that, but John and Mike both knew early on that getting a leather interior was a major selling point for me, and unfortunately, the specific model I was looking for was not available on-site with that interior option - but without me asking, they spoke to the GM and were able to offer to upgrade the interior of my new car to leather at no charge. They printed up the paperwork and had me out of there with a new car in another 30 minutes, and set up an appointment for me to have my interior upgraded next weekend.I can't recommend Mike and John from Linden VW enough. The auto industry is filled with deceiptful sales practices and dealerships that do not have the consumers' best interests at heart. It is very refreshing to know that I can continue working with this dealership and never have to worry about being taken advantage of.

Edgar Grayon was knowledgeable and did all he could to help me purchase the vehicle. When I asked a question or presented a counter negotiation, he had to run some things past another individual who I didn't have the opportunity to meet, but did see him through the glass office walls. And when I overheard this individual catch an attitude and become very unprofessional, I wanted to talk to him one on one and see how unprofessional we both can be. And when I told Edgar that I was angry and what my intentions were, he was apologetic and very professional with me to diffuse the tension the other individual had created. I don't know if this man was a finance officer, manager, owner or just an idiot who wastes time behind his glass wall and desk, but he wasn't very considerate of Edgar's position as a salesman or my position as a consumer trying to get all my questions answered and negotiate a price fair for me. All in all, my experience there was good and I would buy another vehicle from Edgar when I need to purchase another in the future. Other than that one individual, everyone else was very helpful and courteous.

Went to Linden Vw knowing ahead of time what car I was going to buy, a 2013 golf r. Test drove the car, liked it but there were a few physical defects that made me feel uncertain about buying the car. They agreed to fill a crack in windshield, buff paint, and pop out a dent after much arguing, to the point where the manager came over yelling saying that he will rip up the paperwork and sell the car to someone else. Very unprofessional way to treat someone buying a used 30k dollar Vw in the middle of the tdi scandal. When I was sold the car, I was told it was cpo car at first, then told it went through the process but could not be cpo because it was tuned by previous owner. I find out later after contacting previous owner and having another dealership check it out that it was never tuned, this was their way of skipping out on cpo coverage. Not only that, after getting the car home I discover that one led day running light is out(250$), tires aren't even balanced, and the latch for the glove box is broken. Called dealership at least 5 times before I found someone that said they couldn't do anything for me. Car wasn't even inspected and sold with an open recall! Very very disappointed after spending that amount of money and being lied to and ignored. Took 2 months just to get my set of plates!!! Stay away!!

The entire process of buying our certified 2012 VW Touareg was great! Sales, finance, even service all worked perfectly together which made every step very smooth for us. My wife and I went on a whim on Friday to Linden VW as she thought she would like to drive and possibly purchase a CPO 2012 Eos and trade in her Toyota. Mike Ramirez was kind, courteous, and hustling as the dealership was short staffed.Low and behold, my wife ended up falling in love with a leftover 2014 Sportwagen TDI, for a great price at a manager's special, and Eric in Finance was good enough to get top dollar for the trade and find us a bank to do the financing for us, as it was a special circumstance and we could not go through VW Credit as I wished (it wasn't a 'new model' for finance purposes nor was it a CPO since it was never titled). Had a great buying experience and got extremely lucky and we plan on enjoying our TDI for many, many years to come. Thanks Mike, Eric, Fonzie, and the team at Linden VW!

Car buying experience in the dealership was very good. However, there was a defect on the dashboard it was promised it would be taken care off. It was never addressed. On the other hand I wouldn't recommend dealing with service department. They don't even listen your concerns and give BS response at the end without evaluating the problem.

Weeks ago I sent an inquiry from a website about a specific car. I asked a specific question in the message section. Shortly thereafter I started getting auto generated emails (passing for personally written ones of course). None of the emails ever addressed my question.The email would ask how he could help me, when I wanted to come in. I would ask my questions again, and again with no specific answer. Then I would get emails saying we have a time tomorrow at 1pm, and did I want to come in. I would reply asking if anyone reads my emails. No reply. I still get emails asking me irrelevant questions, and I keep getting the same ridiculous emails saying, "guess what we have an open slot for an appointment tomorrow at 1pm". Non existent customer service. Here I am ready to buy or trade, and I am looking elsewhere because I feel like I am dealing with idiots. If they can't answer an email how good are they. I have bought brand new cars through the internet. The point of using the internet is to make things quick and convenient. this is the worst experience I have had with a car dealership via the internet. They should not have an internet department, or list things for sale on the web if they can't handle it, or don't follow up, which is clearly the case.

I had requested more information regarding a particular car. Instead of an email, I was constantly receiving phone calls. They would constantly leave messages saying the car I wanted was in stock and ready for a test drive or to be purchased. So i made the hour drive only to find out car was sold. I understand things happen. But I literally spoke to a representative a few hrs prior and told them I was coming in later that day. People were nice but trip was a waste.

Leased my new car from this dealer, Sales guy was nice, and when I finished my purchase he told me there would be a survey and asked me to be positive.. No problem, when the survey came I was very positive, but they did ask me 'was your first service scheduled" which it was not as I can not be sure how long it would take me to need service but I gave a very good review.Well, when I went to pick up my plates (More on that later) the sales rep basically greeted me by saying "I am very angry with you, you only gave me a 96" because I didn't give him perfect score (was quite nasty). After getting my plates, I inquired how to change something on my dashboard (Change MPG readout to outside temp) was told I needed to go see service since a special computer needed to be hooked up to my car to change this.The service guy told me my sales guy was full of %*#$ and spent 20 minutes with me showing me how to change this among other cool features of the car something the sales guy SHOULD have known.Fast forward 2 months and I get a call from Linden VW informing me they think I was given the WRONG LICENSE PLATES... After initially asking me to come in to switch them they agreed to send someone to me to do this. The sales mgr informed me this was "No big deal, and if I had gotten stopped the Judges won't pursue me as there was no intent to defraud " (I have since spoken with one attorney and a state trooper that this is NOT the case, I would not have gotten jail time as there was no intent to defraud, but there would have been a huge fine, lucky I never got stopped so it was a moot issue) the sales mgr was quite condescending. But no harm done so I let it go.Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I took the car in for the first service and was told I needed 2 tires due to sidewall bubbles, no problem since when I bought the car, I told the sales rep that the tire and rim insurance is something that had to be in the deal and he told me no worries we will include it... Well... Guess what, he didn'tAt this point I went back to the sales mgr to ask about this (as I was quite mad) and was told something along the lines of "The tire insurance is something that additional and would be offered by the finance mgr not the sales guy and you should have known that so why would you assume it was in the deal" (Guess I should apologize for not knowing everything about how vehicle financing should work since silly me assumed it was the sales guy's duties to explain that) The level of "Talking down to me" was staggering. At that point I filed a complaint with VW directly, but VW told me that they can let the mgmt know but there is little they can do, I did request that they have the owner and general mgr of the overall dealer call me.... To date, while VW has called me several times to say they are trying to work with the dealer, the owner/mgr have yet to callThe only positive part was the Service department, they consistently went out of their way to explain things, they were polite and professional, very accommodating when I needed service with very little notice and just overall a great service departmentSadly the awesome service department is overshadowed by what in my opinion is the worst sales department I have ever encountered.

Customer Service was impeccable. They kept me posted on everything since I didn't really know the process of buying a new car. They worked well with me to make my purchase affordable. I am extremely content with my purchase with them. I went to a few VW dealerships and the one in Linden was the one that worked best with me, took the time to order exactly what I needed with all the extras., very kind and prompt service, and they just made it an easy decision for me. Had an excellent experience at Linden VW. Staff was extremely friendly, and made me feel comfortable. I've bought a lot of used cars, and these guys didn't try and pull the scams that many used car dealerships try to pull on you. I got the car for a good price, and the car is in good shape. This is a dealership of hard working honest people with integrity. From the very first correspondence I had with them, they made the entire process easy, fast and painless. All information was up front and in writing. They showed a sincere interest in meeting my price and giving me honest and complete answers expeditiously. They told me what they could and could not do immediately.. In fact it was so easy I was suspicious. Older reviews I read on the internet were completely wrong and did not portray the great experience I had. I could not believe that buying a car could happen so quickly on the phone and by internet. Other dealerships played games and would not give me complete answers. JR was excellent. He kept in contact with me on his day off to assure the paper work was processed quickly so that my car would be ready when I wanted it. The Fiance Manager was ready and prepared for me when I arrived and assured me that I would get home with my new car as quickly as possible with no waiting.This is a great dealership. I purchased a certified pre-owned 2010 Eos . Pricing was fair (beware of the nearly thousand dollar internet fee!). After discussing price on the phone I went to the dealership for a test drive. The directions on the dealers website only gave the major highways (this not normal, just a glitch at the time I was online and printed them out). So, after overshooting the exit, I ended up calling in for directions. Whomever answered the phone and others in the area did a very good job of getting me back on course. Unfortunately it delayed my arrival. But, when I did get there I greeted promptly and a salesman (Domingo) introduced himself. Before we could begin the test drive the car needed to be fueled. That was a minor delay. The test drive went well. Really liked the car. Before the prep I pointed out that the windscreen was missing from the usual spot in the trunk. Domingo seemed to think it or another was around somewhere. After the test drive there was a long wait for the car to be detailed, fully fueled and final preparations. Finally we got to the paperwork. That went smoothly but I was surprised by the $306.00 registration/title fee. I believe that had to do with this being a purchase out of my home state. It's gotten really late and Domingo comes back in and takes my payment (paid taxes and fees, financed the balance). As we walk out to take possession of the car Domingo tells me hasn't found the windscreen but will take care of it tomorrow and call me. Never received a call. I received several e-mails from the dealer and a survey request. Never received a response to repeated inquiries, or to my responses to the survey, or to requests made on Linden's live chat at the website. And, any reply to the e-mails I received (both work and personal e-mail) resulted in delivery failures. Overall not a positive experience and definitely lackluster customer service.

Top notch, no hassle, no games. We bought our pre-owned vehicle from LindenVW after searching the internet and came upon a 2011 Jetta SE. We decided to walk in (no appointment) and just get an up close look at the vehicle. Previously, we had seen other cars during the week from other dealerships and each time ran in sales/finance people who were your stereotypical Sales people (pushy, told us that we would not find better, etc.)It was refreshing to deal with sales (Rosa Rojas) and Finance (Anthony DaSilva) people were straight forward and honest. They met and exceeded our expectations. Rosa immediately treated us as if we were old friends and made the car buying process very comfortable experience. Anthony, let us know right away what he could do for us and actually came in better after the deal was signed. He was very busy, however, he took the time to fully explain the finance terms. Kudos to the staff at Linden VW. I would definetely recommend them to anyone in the market for a VW. BTW, this was our first VW and we could not be happier.E. Lim

Mike Carbone, Ana Wood and Tony DaSilva did a great job on making the deal on the 2006 Impala Ltz. They listened to what I wanted and could afford and curtailed the deal financially for me. All of them had the customer needs in mind, not just making money and going on to the next sale. Ana shopped interest rates with assorted lenders until she came up with a rate which made my monthly payment affordable to meet my finances. At the close, Tony offered me a better extended warranty deal than I originally had asked for. This is called taking care of the customer. I certainly appreciate it and will recommend Linden to my friends and family! Thanks again and keep up the good work, "no pressure" mentality and taking care of the customer! Mike Difeo and his sales manager Anthony Menela are very easy to do business with and run a low pressure, high quality business. I began buying my first VW as a start to the German car market and have been buying at Linden VW ever since.

We had an excellent customer experience thanks to the receptionist and Dennis. We called about the tire pressure indicator. The receptionist said we could come in within the hour, and see Dennis. He immediately checked whether we knew how to use a reset button in the glove compartment, then showed us how to do it. we were there and on our way, without being embarrased, in under 10 minutesThanks to you guys, Dennis and the receptionist.

i was told upfront that there would be a $995 internet fee (whatever that might be.... penalty for looking online!) and i refused to pay. After price was negotiated and upon me specifically asking what other fees would be charged apart from the government fee and tax, i was told none. But somehow magically the internet fee re-appeared on my contract. i am glad i asked for a breakdown and noticed. it was brought down later (not removed)to be fair, the rest of the aspects were dealt very professionally and in a good way. But this misleading sales gimmick deserves a 2 star.

I find it very easy to deal with Domingo. He takes all the hastle out of the buying process. He was recommended to me a few years ago and I have stayed with him ever sense. He is a pure pleasure to work with. Additionally, I have always found Linden Vovkswagen to take "all" the normal displeasure out of buying a car. I made a call to Domingo to get an idea of pricing and as usual his word was true. He was not pushy, and I found him to be an honerable business man. He is a credit to the industry. I tell all my friends about the wonderful experience I had. I originally found Linden VW through the COSCO program. Clearly, COSCO is dealing with the best dealership in NJ.

I had a very pleasant experience at Linden VW. I purchased a car from them back in 2008 and when I decided to switch back to VW I didn't hesitate at all to return to their dealership. I had Michael Carbone as a sales rep, who was very knowledgable and easy to talk with. Tony DaSalva handled the financial paperwork and made what can be a stressful part of the process of buying a new car, very smooth and understandable. Even when I was waiting for the car to return from being detailed I had friendly conversations with other sales reps to pass the time. I highly recommend Linden VW if you are in the market for a VW vehicle.

New car was clean and detailed. John was wonderful to work with. He got me the credit application thru the web site, so I was able to get that done ahead of time. He was very charming and stepped thru all the features of the car with my wife and myself. He gave us options when the new registration and plates came in, offered to install for us or mail them. We also asked about the striping the dealership often does and removed it, since my wife does not like that. Good call on his part!! She also does not like dealer name on the can. She mentioned that on the phone and he made sure it was removed before we got the car. We kept the license plate holders Linden VW on!! This attention to detail really made it a great experience.Tony who did the paperwork was also very buttoned up. All the papers to sign were ready and he covered everything quickly and throughly. Finally, we were there, my wife and myself with our grand daughter, 7 Months old, not one cry! Testimony to speed and their skills at making this a wonderful experience. I came by on 9.8.12 around 12 to see a vw rabbit 08 for sale... new salesman i think his name was marion greeted me outside and said when i was ready to come in and find him. Nice that i diddnt feel pressured. After spending time with the car i went inside and found him and we sat and talk. I noticed quickly he was new... he diddnt have the blue shirt like the other salesman and diddnt have his information correct. He insisted it was CPO.. it was not.. I know the criteria that qualifies as it.. clearly the mileage was over... it was 85000 when the critera is below 75000 and below 5 years of age... so thats #1 not knowledgeable. #2 went for test drive with him... and i was hearing all sort of nosies in the car... i heard the sound of two cylinders rubbing against each other coming behind the ac vents from the center console... tested the noise by increasing the fan... and the sound was affected.. which tells me it may be something more serious than a faulty fan... then i was feeling the engine very sluggish... its an 08 with 170 hp... it was gargling... and struggling when i punched it.. he claims he notices nothing wrong... I hate ignorance... then the final blow... when we finally arrived back.. we were gonna attempt to crunch numbers.. by this point i just wanted to see how he can offer my business back... if the price is right.. i may take the chance. if not forget it.. before i know it.. when we sit at " his desk" this gentleman comes up and said hes busy and he cant take the desk... ok... so we got up and moved next door where it was vacant... we sat down and another gentleman comes up and says we have to move bc hes not busy... our salesman then tells us to follow him across the room to another desk.. i sat there looking at the man whos telling us to move... and i tell him i guess we arent wanted here... he goes no thats not that case.. i go .. it must be because we were ( my gf and i ) were just moved from there and now we are moving from here for no reason. ( he wasnt attending anyone or any prospect clients) my gf and i stormed out.. some lady at the front asked us why we were leaving.. we told her the situation and she just shrugged us off. Which is fine bc the internet is a powerful tool and ill make sure to pass this story onto others... beware! shady salesman and poor customer service, will never come back here.For the problems I encountered with car and the RUST yes RUST i found throughout the hood of the rabbit the price should be somewhere around high 7,000 at the most 8,000..

I had a 3 year lease on a 2009 VW GLI . I had 3 months left on my lease. I went to other dealers but they only offered what they had in stock. I went to Linden and I dealt with a sales person by the name of Arnie G. We quickly and easily came to an agreement on price, then just had to wait for the car to be built to our order and delivered. John kept us up to date on the progress until the car arrived. On delivery day, we worked with Tony who took care of our financing quickly and painlessly. John went over the Tiguan's features thoroughly. The car was detailed and prepped flawlessly. The entire process from our first visit to delivery day was quick, simple, efficient, and I know we got a more than fair deal. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, plain-spoken, and non-pressuring. Things went rather well with the leasing experience. I test drove several cars and Mike was friendly. However, even though I qualified for top tier credit, I didn't feel like I got much of a deal on my lease. The total cost of the payments and buyout price equal about $400 more than the sticker price of the car. Granted I didn't put anything as a down payment. There were also two lengthy delays, at least to me they seemed lengthy. It took a very long time, about half hour, for Mike to get back to me with a lease payment on a Jetta and Passat. Maybe it takes a long time to run a credit check? Then it took another hour and a half to get the car washed and the paperwork done so I could leave. And when I got home, I realized I didn't have paperwork like the manual and warranty/service schedule and I have no floor mats. An employee did return my call and he said he would take care of both of those things. But otherwise it was a good shopping experience, at least as good as it can get at a car dealership I suppose.

Their communication was great! I sent out an email looking for an exact gti and luckily they had it. At first i was skeptical because another dealer told me there were only 2 in the north east and that they were in NY. When I got to the dealer I met with Juan he was very helpful, he knew that I had contacted them about the car and was ready to help. As a matter of fact the car was right there ready for me to view it. I guess the other dealer was being shady and just trying to up-sale me to payments I couldn't afford on a car that was out of my price range.Juan at Linden VW gave a me a detailed review of the car and its extras we sat down to work the numbers. Im no expert sales man of the automotive industry but I do a lot of, I mean a ton of, homework before leasing a vehicle. This Gti will be my 7th lease and normally when its time to sit down I hear the boxing ring bells and its time to rumble. But thats is usually because the sales men/women have this sour taste in their mouth when you start using terms and quoting numbers the "average consumer" should not know. With Juan however it became a pleasant conversation we talked numbers back and forth even had me a cup of coffe with him. The numbers were very important to him but the customer satisfaction suppressed anything and everything. It felt as if, even if i didn't buy the vehicle from them they just wanted me to walk out with a smile. That means a lot and it goes a long way. At the end we came to a mutual agreement taking into consideration all the factors and I was very happy with the out come the OTD price was right where I wanted to be.Phase two is usually the one I hate the most the last person you talk to before they hand you the keys. In my eyes the up-seller last ditch effort to squeeze your wallet. But at Linden VW the experience is great, yes they do try to explain the benefits and cost of an added this or that but you don't feel pushed. After listening to their pitch a simple yes or no is fine and if you do say yes the price is still negotiable. If you say no the don't come back with a ton of "but"s. Taking delivery of the car was great Juan knowing I was trading in my 08 for a 12 was keen enough to show me the upgraded features in the car and not take up my time with old features. The follow up process has been great so far I have received numors emails from managers congratulating me on my new car and offering their contact info should i have a problem. I spoke to one of the managers and explained to her that I took delivery of the car on a rainy day and she is willing to help me out and have the car detailed like it is suppose to be when you take delivery. All i would recommend this small family owned dealer to any one. They might be a small dealer but their heart is huge they have a great staff and ACCURATE inventory. Also first dealer I saw with the new GOLF R...wow how i wish I could have got that one but thats not the dealers fault its my wallets.

I bought my Tiguan though the Costco Auto Buying program. The first dealer I went to through the program screwed up, gave me the wrong price and tried to play games on the locator fee for the model/color I wanted. I contact Costco and they contacted John, who is the inventory manager.That made all the difference. John found the model/color and had it brought to Linden even before I contacted them. No locator fee! Price was just as expected. No surprises. John broke down the deal and it matched with everything we agreed on via e-mail.Well done!

Saw a used vehicle online and called to inquire about it. Was told that a lot of people were interested in it, so I should put down a deposit of $1000 on my credit card to insure that I had the opportunity to purchase the vehicle.Arrived the next afternoon to test drive the car. I was told the car was out on a test drive, so I waited about ten minutes. The sales manager happened to come by and introduce himself, telling me the car is a very popular item. I replied "lets see how it responds on the test drive".The car was fine, however when it came time to make the deal, The figure they had given me over the phone, while taking my information for the deposit had changed by $1000. They explained that there was an Internet FEE of $995 that applies to all used cars on their lot.I would have been completely fine with their Internet fee had it been disclosed during our initial discussion. To change the figure at the 11th hour is completely unprofessional and shady. To make matters worse when I called off the deal, they said my deposit would be issued the next day (because as mentioned in a previous review, the office that handles that was closed for the day). It has been three days and I am still waiting.I did not have a good experience here at all and left feeling misled and frustrated.I would not send my worst enemy here.I recommend the myriad number of other VW dealers in the area over Linden VW. Save yourself the time and stress avoid them like a leper colony

We were in need of a new car, and I had researched the VW Passat so we visited two dealers the first one we did not have a good experience. The second one was Linden Volkswagon. I had a check from Capital One, they had pre-approved me for a car loan. When i explained this to the salesperson the informed me that the check was only good for 90% of the purchase. I proceeded to leave the dealership because I did not have the other 10% to purchase the car. Tony approached me and told me he would do something better for me, he did. He got me aproved for a lower interest rate and the experience was very pleasant and short.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience with the kind folks at Linden VW for the recent purchase of our new Tiguan. We received a professional treatment throughout the whole process.First of all, the staff is very internet friendly. This was a major plus for us, since we are usually short on time during the week. We negotiated with Anthony via email to get a price we were happy with. After we had stopped in to discuss the purchase in person, Juan was great with responding to texts whenever we needed clarification on something. Furthermore, unlike some other VW dealerships we were considering, our in-boxes were NOT inundated with marketing spam - which we also appreciated. When we arrived to sign the final paperwork and take delivery of our vehicle, Juan give us plenty of time to inspect the car. He made sure even the most minor issue was taken care of. Lou worked with us while signing the last of the paperwork, clearly explaining anything that we had a question or concern about. Also, before we drove off the lot, Juan demonstrated important features of our vehicle.We soon received follow-up emails from Sheerlee. She made sure we were happy with everything and that there were no loose ends hanging around.All in all, we can honestly say that Linden VW was the dealer that truly EARNED our business. My experience with Linden Volkswagen was more than great. Sales Consultant Roy Elliot was very helpful from the day we firs shook hands to the day I picked up my wifes new 2012 Jetta. Roy showed me and my wife all the options that we could get whit my car and took his time to explain them. We tested a lot of different models and closely looked at different options. When it came to getting the car for the right price we negotiated and came to a price that we were happy with. Usually when I have talked to a dealer at other locations I walked out of that dealership angry and frustrated that they wanted to rip me off, but at Linden Volkswagen and especially Roy from the beginning I knew that when I spend my money it will be money well spent.

After many painful experiences with volkswagen cars (i.e. total loss in a flood & money poured down the drain in repairs), I was coming to the end of my lease for my 3rd VW car, I decided to attempt to trade in my car. At Three County VW, the sales team refused to get me a decent monthly rate. They insisted I put down a large down payment like I had done for them in the past. I had already been coerced to put down $6000 on my first lease! $4000 on my second after the total flood loss! Now, they insisted yet again I do the same... NOT HAPPENING... I MOVED MY BUSINESS TO LINDEN VOLKSWAGEN--they gave me low lease payments NO $ DOWN with the new 2012 JETTA.I am happy to have made this switch and I feel confident about leasing again.

linden vw was the worst car dealer i have ever used. they are rude, dishonesty by far, dont stand behind there word, they sold me a car with major issues some of them saftey issues and forced me to purchase an extended warranty with the car wich is wrong and illegal. the used car manager is very rude, gave me attitude talked back to me and argueed with me "the customer". i would not recomend buying a car from them ever or even step foot on there lot for all it matters. very unhappy and displeased with the hole dealer ship service sales parts and all.

We were going to look at a 2009 CC CPO and our sales rep called and confirmed the appointment in the morning.When we got there everyone in the showroom totally ignored us. We waited for about 10 minutes until someone came over to us. We found out that the car we were going to look at was sold the night before. Then why did our sales rep call us in the morning to confirm the appointment. We found out who our sales rep was (sitting at her desk) and she never bothered to get up to talk to us.Obviously we walked out and no one even blinked an eye, but the laugh is on them.We drove down to Langhorne, VW and bought a 2010 CC CPO.I would not recommended Linden VW as I feel that have a lack of concern for the client. I'm also in sales and this was no way to make a sale.

I went to the Linden VW dealership only looking to test drive the new 2011 Jetta S and also the 2011 Tiguan. I needed both cars in a manual and so Daniel let me drive the Tiguan SE over to their service department so that we could pick up a manual Jetta S. I wasn't in love with either car. When we got back to the lot, I asked Daniel if there were any manual Jetta SE in the lot. We took a look around and we couldn't find a manual, however, Daniel asked me if I'd be interested in an older car. We walked over to a Pre-Owned Certified 2008 Jetta GLI (red, manual, 44,000 mi, honeycomb grill, just plain old sexy). While test driving it, he explained to me that he, too, owns a VW and has owned quite a few. He explained to me different options in the car, since I've never owned a VW before. He immediately let me take it for a test drive and that was all she wrote. Daniel dropped the price on the car over $2000, got me a GREAT interest rate on my loan, gave me EVERY SINGLE BIT of paperwork associated with my car and it's old owner, previous work, carfax, everything. He gave me a great price on my old car, which probably was worth $200, and helped me bring down my payments. I mean...I am really impressed with this kid. He was knowledgeable, honest, prompt, sincere, and he just really seemed to care about me being happy with my car. He e-mailed me the following day congratulating me and thanking me. Today (three days later), I received an e-mail from the Service Manager, telling me to make sure I keep any questions in mind for when I eventually come in for service so that I can take the best care of my car as possible. I didn't have to negotiate anything. They were straightforward and the Finance Manager (I forget his name but he is a very nice Portuguese guy), didn't play with any numbers, he gave me my options as far as the Warranty goes and helped explain everything that I was signing. They let me bring my car in to trade it in two days after I purchased it without any problem. I have recommended them to two people so far and I will continue to recommend them. I am totally in love with my new car, and I feel as though I have entered into a wonderful relationship with the team at Linden VW. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

When I started my search for a new car I contacted over 40 VW dealerships in the NY, NJ and PA area. Throughout the process I encountered some terrible salesmen and some OK dealers. When I started working with John it was something completely different. He was not only courteous, but also honest. He made sure to keep me up to date with any new developments with the car and price. He gave me the best price any dealership was willing to give without the hassle. This was by far the best experience I had buying a car. It was so easy, so friendly, and overall an amazing experience. The next car someone in my family buys will probably now be a VW and if it is, we will no doubt buy it from Linden VW!

I just leased my first Volkswagen from this dealership last night. I've owned and leased various makes and models of cars through the years, but never even considered a Volkswagon until a friend suggested the Linden location to me for their great customer service. She was right.I can't comment enough how wonderful it was to work with such a great sales team. My rep, Juan De Jesus, was incredibly thorough and helpful as he explained the different models and the various upgrades that are available. He didn't try to push me into a car I didn't want, or force me to upgrade, and ultimately he got the price for me that I walked in wanting to pay. The GM, Craig Cohen, helped streamline the entire process and helped to get us feel comfortable with all of our choices while still helping to process us so quickly. I would 100% purchase/lease a Volkswagon again and I would 100% do so from this dealer. If you are thinking about purchasing or leasing a Volkswagon, just stop in and talk to the sales team at Linden Volkswagon. At the very least, you'll have a nice time (and you might even be able to end your car search too).

I have owned and leased Volkswagens since 1968. My 2011 Golf TDI is my fourteenth (14) VW. I have acquired and serviced my VWs exclusively at VW Dealers here in New Jersey since 1984. The purchase of my 2011 Golf TDI is the first time I have done business with Linden VW due to their relationship with COSCO. I was pleasantly surprised by the pleasant - low pressure approach to car sales I experienced at Linden VW. My questions and concerns were promptly answered, test-drove several VWs, and was comfortable in purchasing my VW from Linden VW. The good news doesn't end there, I received follow up calls from Linden's Customer Service Manager - Sheerlee Mischel who wanted to make sure everything was OK. I suspect she even accelerated the arrival of my new license plates. Sheerlee also scheduled a 90 day courtesy checkup for my Golf in April. I would not hesitate to recommend Linden VW and I know where my next VW is coming from!

This was the best experience I've ever had buying a car!!! My salesman Steve Goggins was very understanding of my time and needs. He didnt have me waiting for hours. He called when he said he would call even if he didnt have any information for me. In the end I got a better car than what I went in for and I'm paying the car payment that I wanted to pay. There's nothing better than someone superceding your expectations. That was my experience with him as my salesman and I would and have recommended him to friends and family. Also, within the first week of buying my car my check engine light went off. (who knew if the gas cap wasnt on correctly the light would come on?) I called the service center as a nervous wreck and Lauren asked if i had gotten gas recently and explained what she wanted me to do. She told me that if I did what she asked and the check engine light didnt go off within a certain amount of miles she would help me immediately. I followed her instructions and the light went off and all is right with the world again.I say all of this to say that the customer service that I received was second to none!!! If I were you I would run dont walk to Linden Volkswagen and ask for my man STEVE GOGGINS!!! (he's a man of his word and integrity)

This would be my 2nd time dealing with the same dealership and sales person. I told them what I wanted and in 4 weeks I had my new car. My trade in went well too. I know with in 3 years I will be back to upgrade my VW car. The even detailed my new card a 2nd time for me. This type of service is a 5 star.

This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I had to tell my best friend to pinch me because I could not believe the professionalism of the salesman and manager that helped me purchase my certified preowned vehicle. I had been to quite a few area dealerships and not one salesperson at the dealerships I visited, made an attempt to try to get me what I wanted. My best friend recommended Linden Volkswagen and it was the last stop of a day filled with disappointments. The salesman who assisted me, Steven Goggins, was very attentive and professional and so was his manager (I can not remember his name, but he was great!. He knew a lot about the cars and showed me the best ones comparing them to others in the lot. He was very knowledgeable. I complete paperwork and was out of the dealership within 1.5 hours. I came back the next day at the time he advised me too and everything was ready. I only had to sign on a few dotted lines and I was out of the door in less than an hour. I made sure to take a lot of business cards and will be recommending this dealership to my friends.

My husband and I got there before the dealership opened and waited in the lot. One of the workers came in and saw us sitting there and offered to bring us inside to wait and have a cup of coffee. He made us very comfortable while we were waiting. A few minutes later, a salesman came in with his breakfast and immediately put it down to assist us. Chris ws extremely professional and helpful (as was the sales manager). He gave us several options, allowing us to take a few cars out on a test drive until we found the right one for us. They even went above and beyond to find the color that we wanted (after they already prepared the paperwork for a different color). Everyone at the dealership was extremely professional, courteous and helpful! Great experience. That was my 4th "new car" purchase (within our family) in 1 year and the best experience thus far!

Lou was very helpful and not pushy at all unlike some other salesmen that I dealt with. He was very professional and answered all my questions. On top of that I got a great deal. The finance guy was great too and explained everything very clearly. The owner's daughter even called me a few days later to make sure I was happy with everything. All in all a great experience and I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone I know looking for a volkswagen.

Mark was great. He was very fair negotiating price,explaining the features, letting me take the car for a test drive, and even putting in the cool flower vase in the front. Easy going, not intimidating, open to answering any questions and all around a friendly person you'd want to be dealing with, especially since this was my very first car! I was only intending to check out what it would feel like to sit in a beetle and I never expected to leave that day with my dream car in my favorite color. But with the way everything fell into place and the amazing service I received, I found it hard to turn my back and leave.

My family was getting reasdy to drive 2000 miles on vacation on a Thursday, so I took my 1999 Dodge van (which I had bought new at Linden VW/Dodge in the last millenium) for a tune up on Tuesday. The mechanic said he wouldn't recommend taking the van on a long trip so I had to find a replacement quick. I went to Linden VW on Tuesday night and drove away on Wednesday evening in a new Routan that fit my family's travel needs perfectly. I got exactly what I wanted at a more than fair price. My experience from beginning to end was pleasant and professional. This is the 5th consecutive vehicle I've purchased from this dealer since 1988, and I've had great experiences every time. Now we're back from our trip, the Routan was comfortable for both front & back seat passengers and the navigation system exceeded expectations. I was even able to watch a movie while my wife drove!

I was having problems with my car for a while now, So I started to think about trading it for something newer. Louis Lombari went over and beyond to get me the best price for my trade in and than together with Octavio Escada worked it out so that I was able to leave with a brand new car from the lot. Even with my credit not being the best they still found a way to meet my payment expectations. Thank you Louis & Octivio for all your help. This dealership gave me a no nonsense quote, no surprises when I showed up to pick up the car, and had the keys in my hand in a short amount of time. Please stay away from this dishonest, rude, and cheating dealership. We went to buy a 2006 VW Jetta. After keeping us there for 6 long hours and going back and forth they said the deal was final. We were to pay 35% on creditcard and the rest in cash when we pickup the vehicle. After writing up the whole paper work and charging the credit cards, and giving us the keys to the car, as we were about to leave, they told us that there was a mistake and they had already sold that car to someone else!!!!We could not believe our ears!! But we did see another couple test driving the car, so we are guessing that after finalizing our offer the dealer received a better offer from the other couple and decided to go for that instead! This is after charging our creditcards and taking the money! They convinced us saying that they will make it up to us by getting a similar car, and they just happened to have another one! Classic BAIT n SWITCH!!! When they brought the other car out we discovered to our horror that it was scratched all around, had a broken side view mirror, and drove like it has never been serviced in its entire life. The salesman repeatedly told us that this car was certified by the VW dealer with 120 checkpoint certification and kept showing the the pink chalk mark on the windshield that said CPO (certified pre owned)! After we drove it, we demanded to see the certification report. Then he came out and said that it was never certified, and it does not need to be certified. Needless to say that we were shocked again at their ability to lie and cheat. After requesting to see the carfax for a whole hour, they finally gave us a one page carfax, that only showed 4000 miles on the paper when the car odometer actually showed 25,000+ miles! They insisted that it does not mean anything and that it was a perfectly good car and comparable to the other one! The other car happened to be a certified car with clean carfax and no visible damage. At this point they lost our trust completely so we said we were not interested in the replacement and requested to credit the cards back with the $5000 they charged. They said the office was closed and we had to wait until monday to get the credit back. It is really funny how they had the office open to take your money but it miraculously was closed to issue the credit back! We kept calling back on monday to see if the credit was issued back but every time they either said that the manager was busy, or let the answering machine pickup. I finally had to call the credit card companies to put the transactions in dispute.Please learn from my experience and steer clear off this dishonest dealership. There are many open, honest dealers out there that have the carfax published freely on their website.

Went to a couple of other dealers looking for a Tiguan and got very turned off by their tactics. My neighbor told me about this dealer so I went to see them.Not only did they have a great selection but they were able to beat the deal I had been given by another dealer that didn't have the car.John was very knowledgeable about the car and the finance end was quick and painless. I drove off the lot the same day with the car I wanted. Just a great experience all around.

The salesman knew less about the Eos than I did after 2 days of internet reading. When I talked numbers, the sales manager grossly underestimated the value of my trade-in, regardless of the Edmonds value. The acted like I was lucky to have a chance to buy a car from them. I went to Reydel VW on Rt. 27 the next week and have begun the process of buying an Eos. The salesman knew what he was talking about and seemed to want to work with me. I'll be going back to play hardball on the price.

This is hands down THE best team I've had the pleasure of being served by, in any profession or industry. People like to give a lot of lip service to customer service, but these professionals practice it:With only days to go and my current lease ending on an '05 Jetta that I loved-- but scrambling to get into a new lease, for a growing family-- I get a call from Jamal at Linden. Long story short, he asks what my needs are, how much I want to spend, how many miles I need and calls me back with an offer that exceeded my expectations. Zero down, extra miles, Titanium Protection, plates, tax and licensing-- essentially, the whole nine yards. I went to see him that evening, the next day he personally came to me in the city, dropped my new car off (with a full tank of gas) and took away my old one. Within the next week I got follow up calls from the Manager and the Head of the Service Department and, of course, Jamal himself. He gave me his cell phone and told me to call him personally if I needed anything or had any questions. My new plates arrived days ahead of schedule (which is quite impressive in and of itself if you know what I mean) and I didn't have to lift a finger, which is what it was all about for me -- I'm busy! Oh, and here's the kicker- my plates came in the mail to me, and attached to the plates is a check for $21.50 for my inspection. Nice touch- They promised me I wouldn't have any expenses getting into the car and they truly delivered.I have become a big fan of the Volkswagon brand, and an even bigger fan of Linden. I can't wait for the Hybrid Golf to hit North America, and when it does, I'll have it delivered to me from Jamal and the guys at Linden VW. If you want to make it simple on yourself, you will too. Dealing with H&D Linden Motors is none less than dealing with "TROUBLE"I bought a certified-Pre owned VW from H&D Linden and believe me, my nightmare had just begun.Since I bought the vehicle, every alternate weekend, I went to dealer service station.On top of that, recently I found out that the vehicle met with an accident and Dealer didnt even bother to inform me about that event.The service manager and service adviser are very arrogant people.The Sales manager is not worth dealing, He is a liar.Be careful dealing with H&D Linden Motors.I would suggest trying some other dealership
