Will never take a vehicle there again. Took Crowne Vic in for repair of A/C. They kept it 3 days and I paid $1,100.00 for repairs and control head. got the car back along with greasy finger prints on door. Two days and 20 miles later it was not working again. Took it back another couple of days and when they called said it was another part and would be an additional $800. Naturally they said the control head they replaced earlier was bad? If I had been told the total cost of repairs from the start I would not have had the car repaired as it is a secondary vehicle. By the way they did replace the greasy finger prints I had cleaned up from last visit, with fresh new ones on the dash and passengers seat. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

If you want a salesman who tells you the truth with no hidden agenda, Chip Lambert at Lookout Ford is the person to go to. We searched the Lookout Fords web for cars and inquired about the Ford focus. Chip called and with his enthusiastic attitude hooked my husband and myself right away. We discussed over the phone what we were looking for, he gave us some options, and the next day we went and as we talked about on the phone he made it happen. We gave him a price and said nothing over that figure, so he showed us some options with a new vehicle and the rebates that we may qualify for. And then a used vehicle with options. Bottom line he did what he said he could. We bought a brand new car for the price that we could afford. Chip took as much time as we needed to learn how to use all the new features. Then he did the same with our daughter, he showed her how to use all the features, we were never rushed. Then when we went to the finance department none of the figures changed. Lookout Ford is the only Ford dealer we will ever go to. Over the last 31 years we have bought and sold a few vehicles but we have never had this much of a great experience as we have had buying the Ford focus. The entire staff at Lookout Ford was happy to be there. Go see Chip is you want an honest salesman to sell you a Ford vehicle :)

I just purchased a 2013 F-150 XLT crew cab from Cape Lookout Ford and by far they gave me the best deal around. We bought our new SUV yesterday. I have dealt with a lot of salesmen in the past and have to say Lee Midgett is the best we have ever encountered. He made sure I was thoroughly informed about the vehicles before I made my finale decision. I didn't feel pressure to buy or swayed one way or another. I wasn't rushed in looking and I looked at 2 SUV's for what seemed like all day to me and Lee was super patient. Lookout Ford made the buying process smooth and easy. My SUV was ready to drive off the lot before our paperwork was finished. This is a dealer with customer service in mind! There are snacks and drinks, a lounge area and clean restrooms. Had the oil changed in my Volvo there , they were unable to reset the service indicator, said I had other problems and they were unable to tell me what the other problem might be. Went home and went on you tube and was able to reset service alert, and had a computer scan done on the car from a independent shop and found no problem. I have had my other vehicles service there in the past, and was happy with the service. It would appear that the service department as gone down hill. Do not plan t go back.

It was well worth driving past others to get to Lookout Ford in Morehead City. The service was exceptional! Paid $500 for parts/labor that was unnecessary. Their while service team is a joke and take advantage of the military community in the area. Took it to another place in town and without hooking it to a machine for $115 figured out what was wrong and didn't hold my vehicle for 5 days. Will never go back and will be calling corporate.

My husband and I were looking for a used Explorer Limited. I went online to see what was available in the area where we live. I found exactly what I wanted at Lookout Ford in Morehead City, which is approximately an hour and a half from where we live. Once we got there and looked at the vehicle, we both did not like the unusual color. After looking at other Explorers on their lot, we did not find anything appealing to us because we had our hearts set on an Explorer Limited. The sales rep, Chip Lambert, told us he had an Edge Limited that had just been traded and persuaded us to take a look at it. We looked it over, drove it and fell in love with it's size, features, and the fact that it had low mileage. Furthermore, it was a certified used vehicle. We are so happy with our purchase. We interacted with a number of staff members at the dealership. They were all so friendly and professional and so eager to please. Lookout Ford is a great place to shop for a new ride, new or used. Since our purchase was finalized, Chip has contacted us on a number of occasions to find out if we had any questions about the Edge. Chip went over all the features and accessories this vehicle had to offer but it's hard to learn everything about it in a day. So I did have questions. He was very knowledgeable about the Edge and was able to give me a comprehensive answer to all my questions. We had a great experience at Lookout Ford and we highly recommend their dealership if you are looking for a new or used vehicle. You will not be disappointed.

I have wanted a Flex for over a year and had worked with Ford dealers all around me but could not agree on a price. Lookout Ford in Morehead City was in that group of dealers but they never gave up on making my dream come true. They never pestered or pressured me but understood how badly I wanted a Flex, so Pam Pletz would drop me an e-mail or call every now and then with new offers and specials. The "snow" special interested me..we talked, discussed and then I was hooked! The trade-in value for my vehicle was exceptional as well, so I traveled two hours to Lookout Ford to get my Ruby Red Flex and I am so happy! Have been to many Dealerships in my years and purchased many vehicles. The majority of them are high pressure sales or don't have time for you if your not serious. Lookout Ford breaks that mold. I traveled 95 miles one way to look at a USED vehicle they had listed on the internet. I arrived unexpected, walked in to ask for the keys for a viewing of the Jeep. Was greeted immediately, salesman Chip Lambert gave me keys, walked me to Jeep, asked that if I had any questions to see him. I was left alone, as I wished, to check the Jeep out and to drive if I wanted. NO PRESSURE TO BUY, NO HASSELS! Told Chip I was not willing to pay asking price, he did everything possible to make a deal work. We could not agree on price, I drove 95 miles back home. Was contacted next day by Jonathan, still could not reach agreement even though they reduced price. Two days latter was contacted by Ed Haggerty whom bent over backwards to make deal work. I now HAPPILY own the Jeep. I never test drove the Jeep, mind you that's not recommended, but Lookout Ford had gone through the thing so thoroughly and corrected what they deemed problems that I felt I could trust their word. Challenge you to find that term, Trust, at most Dealerships. I have had the Jeep (2005) for a couple of weeks and it is perfect! Some may read this and think, well this is some young person that is blinded by his inexperience and overwhelming desire to want a car that he is ignorant to the reality. NOPE, I'm 53, have bought over 20 vehicles in my lifetime from many different places. If you want/ need a vehicle, go see Chip Lambert. No hassle, No pressure, Honesty, Trust, Customer Minded = LOOKOUT FORD. Chip Lambert and Lookout Ford will be my first destination for my next vehicle.

We recently purchased a 2014 GT500 from Lookout Ford in Morehead City, NC. Our salesman, Bruce, made the whole buying process quick and easy. He was very knowledgeable of the car and was never pushy. He worked hard to make sure we were satisfied with everything. This was our second purchase from Lookout Ford and from the sales department to the service department everyone there is always going the extra mile to make their customers feel special.

We have bought 4 vehicles from Lookout in the last few months. I live and work in Jacksonville and would rather drive the extra few miles to Lookout than go through the high pressure sales that come with the dealerships in my area. Even better, the prices have always been much better at Lookout. We have always used Bruce Atkinson as our sales rep and recommend him others we send to Lookout. All the staff is excellent at what they do. I am in the automotive finance business and appreciate knowing I am not being lied to. Do yourself a favor the next time you are car shopping and go to Lookout Ford. You will not regret it!

He is a great guy who can answer all your questions, and is knowledgeable about the cars on the lot. I love my 2013 Ford Fusion and am so glad to have found a dealership that I can trust!

Appreciated the friendliness I was shown by all the employees and the willingness of Chip (Salesman) to listen to my requirements.Took two test drives over a space of ten days. Total experience was 100% better than what I experienced with the dealer I had purchase my previous two cars from and the dealer that was performing maintenance on my car at that time. Neither of which were Ford dealers.

I purchased my new 2013 Ford Escape from Lookout Ford after seeing the vehicle at the Seafood Festival. Lee showed me all the options and I made an appointment to come see him. He made the process so easy. Everyone was great. The GM even found a way to lower my payments by using less cash rebate but a lower interest rates! My payment is now only a little more than I was paying on my F150. The dealership was clean and everyone was friendly. I would definitely recommend Lookout Ford to anyone looking for a honest, fair dealership with a surprising amount of integrity.

I saw the Ford Escape Titanium at the Seafood Festival and Lee showed me all the features of this great SUV. I came in the next week and worked with him to buy this car. It was a great experience, very low pressure and I feel like I got a good price for my trade and the General Manager (Ed?) found me a lower payment by using a different rebate and APR configuration. I really appreciated it because it saved me over $50/month! I am very happy with Lookout Ford and would highly recommend them. I am always afraid as a woman to buy a car - it's usaually a grueling experience but this was easy and actually pleasant - I got the EXACT car I wanted!

I inquired online about a vehicle, within 5 minutes Pam had called me and at this stage, I was very happy with the process. After looking at the vehicle online again I wasn't sure if it had the 3rd row seat I need, so I called Pam. she put me on hold while she went to go check and came back to say yes it does, come in tonight and we will value your trade. I went in that evening and was assigned Erik as my salesman. Strike #1 for Erik was when the first question he asked me was whether my husband would be coming to help me buy a car. Why would I need anyone to help me buy a car??? I'm an adult, with a job, and a mind of my own. Strike #2 was when, after keeping me there for 30 minutes, asking about what my desired monthly payment is (I already had financing which I made clear as soon as I arrived) he announced "Well that Explorer doesn't have a 3rd row seat." Information he clearly had all along as he hadn't used his computer or spoken to anyone the whole time I was there. After he said "Well someone told you wrong and there's nothing I can do about that", I walked out. I would not recommend this dealership to women, people who have their own financing or anyone that doesn't like being lied to.

Attentive, caring response to my needs. Were willing to work with me. Were sensitive to my nervousness since I hadn't bought a car close to 10 yrs. Gave me all possible fits to consider. Bought a car in the end and am extremely happy with it. GO FORD!!

Do not get your vehicle serviced at Lookout Ford. Every time I leave the service department it is merely a matter of time before I am taking my truck back and have a "NEW" issue with my vehicle. Drive to Wilmington...the price of fuel and precious time you invest will be cheaper than the insane bill that you will recieve from Lookout...oh and you will be back for another soon. I cannot prove it but I believe there is some dishonest service going on around there.

My husband and I went there to look at a truck. Test drove it, loved it, went in with the salesman to make a deal. We went back and forth with our numbers and finally our salesman came back with an agreed amount. We SHOOK hands and were very clear on the price when we did so. The salesman started the paper work and we were probably about 15 minutes or so from walking out with the vehicle. The salesman comes back and says there was a misunderstanding in price and there was no deal. Was it a coincidence that there was another guy there wanting to purchase the same truck for more money that our deal was no longer good? The GM assumed me that wasnt the case that the salesman misunderstood the price with his manager nd miscommunicated it with us. Either way we already made our deal with the salesman and it SHOULD have been honored, if it was a good business and they wanted to do right! Look out at Lookout Ford!

Great people to deal with and very easy to buy car from this dealership. Saw the truck (F10) I wanted online and contacted the dealership, went in and shortly after I bought the vehicle. Service added a bedliner within minutes and I was on my way.

Bought new car less than 2 months ago, MSRP over $49k. Bought car earlier than planned to take on 2 week vacation. Day before vacation, a/c condenser leaks, no air conditioning. Brought in day of vacation w/2500 miles on odometer, they were unable to obtain part for 4 days. Not their fault, however they offered nothing. No loaner, nary an apology for this MAJOR inconvenience. Forced to take old pickup truck on vacation, that was miserable as I needed to repair a cracked hose before departure. Lookout Ford offered to have us leave the car and it'd be repaired upon our return. I declined to leave our brand new car shuffling around their shop for 2 weeks. Upon returning from vacation, not only do they NOT have the part, he tells me it'd be a full week before I could bring it in for service, thereby completely rendering the car useless in 100* heat with no a/c. Still no offer of a loaner in the meantime. The car is now repaired in short order by our local dealer, CELLA FORD. They know how to take care of a customer, even though I didn't purchase the car from them, although I did buy my truck new from them years ago. I will be shopping for a new vehicle in the very near future and it will be a Ford from CELLA FORD in New Bern, NOT Outlook Ford. Absolutely terrible experience.

Paid for parts in advance, however over a month later parts were apparently not received, thus work to be performed was never accomplished. During this long waiting period I was consistantly told by a service advisor "next week", but next week never arrived. Have requested return of advance payment as no work was ever performed.
