Trading cars with Lubbers is like visiting Friends or going to the coffee shop for a visit. Very low key and great treatment. I would not think of even shopping anywhere else for a vehicle much less purchasing from anyone else.

We had been to several dealerships that were either liars, pushy, sketchy, or made us feel uneasy. This dealership, especially Danny Lubbers, was laid back. Made us feel like we were number one, made us feel like they were happy we were there. There were other customers working with other sales personnel, and they were getting treated the same way. If you are in the market absolutely give them a chance to find what you need.The finance personnel were also wonderful to work with.

After having many life circumstances; illness, deaths, and divorce I never thought I would be able to get into a new car. The dealership at Lubbers in Cheney in KS and most specifically Mike, was wonderful and walked me the through the process of trading in my old car and getting into a beautiful new 2016 Chevy Malibu. Although I was not an optimal client they treated me with compassion and were able to meet my families needs, without the shaming and embarrassment that I have had so many other dealerships. I will definitely be going back when its time to trade in again. Honest wonderful service.

The previous used vehicle we bought from Lubbers had some unforeseen mechanical issues that would have cost beyond what the vehicle was worth. Curtis and the Lubbers team worked very hard to get us into another vehicle without incurring a lot of extra expense out of our pocket. Thank you Curtis for your help and understanding. I am a repeat customer at the Lubbers used sales lot, both times buying a late model truck. John has always met me with a smile and has a very laid back approach to car sales. Imagine our surprise when we discovered we had been pre-approved for a vehicle at Lubbers. Our experience has been awesome in dealing with Lubbers with all three vehicles we have purchased. Even with tarnished credit, Lubbers treats me like a valued customer. Derek Tanner is a great no hassle salesman that has treated me well every time I have bought a vehicle from him. I'm on my third. From the time I called to the time I left the dealership, this last time, including my drive from Pratt was less than 2 hours. I will not buy a car anywhere else.

I recently financed my 2010 Chevy Impala from Ron Lubbers he managed to get me approved with a quick and hassle free auto loan with no money down with not so good credit. The overall atmosphere there is relaxed and family ran business environment. He explained how things were going to happen and indeed it went very smooth. Everyone who I spoke with is down to earth and gives off a great vibe. Coming from me who in the past was in car sales myself am very impressed and a lot of dealerships nearby in the Wichita area and their sales staff could learn a lot from the folks at Lubbers. Other car lots claim to have integrity and claim to be the best...well I for one will have to say nobody in the auto sales industry comes close to the folks at Lubbers. Today I took in my vehicle to the service department for an oil change. I had some concerns with my brakes and the driver and passenger side windows. Clint the service advisor listened to my concerns and next thing I know he went above and beyond to replace both regulators on each door then had the technician replace both rotors and brakes on the front end of my car at no charge. All I can say is WOW !!!!!!! I will be back for my next vehicle it's well worth the 20 minute drive to get this one of a kind treatment. Commercial catch phrase but applies. Salesman showed us the vehicles features, took test drive, trade in evaluated, price negotiated, vehicle prepped and delivered in 2 hours and that was because we were not in a hurry. Test drove vehicle without the salesman. Gave me a spot on offer for my trade in. Gave me a reasonable discount off the new sticker. No back and forth stuff haggling over $50. No extended warranty pitch. Truly a family dealership. Had nice conversations with other Lubbers family members and other employees in those times that there was a wait. That is why we returned when we decided to buy.

I was wanting to buy a Truck and had in mind of what I want to spend..... Was looking on the Lubbers web page to see what they had..... In the mean time Mike Hayes E-mailed me and visited about what I was looking for and it didnt take long for Him to put something together that I was looking for pricing and vehicle..... I told him what I could do for a down payment and what was needed to seal the Deal.Mike said He would write it up and get approval and call me Back..... within a couple hrs we set a time for the following day to go ( Im from Great Bend) and see what he had in mind. No pressure from Mike because he had pick the Ford F-150 I wanted not one that He wanted me to Buy. Made the Deal and was was on my way Home..... Mike had a way of making me at ease and listen to my wants. He took me to see the people that I would be doing business with and they were just as AWESOME. I just started my new job and needed a car badly, old car worn out and no dealership with good cars would help me without thousands of dollars as a down payment. I can not stand car buying, usually. It's what kept me in a piece of junk car as long as I was. Finally, it was time to buy something else. I went to another big dealership in Wichita, and have never been treated so terribly. So when I received a call from Lubbers, I wasn't very interested. I had asked a couple of colleagues who had used Lubbers for service how their experience was. Each responded that the service and professionalism they experienced; Lubbers was the only dealership they trusted. I now see why.The service department explained what needed to be done to my old vehicle in detail. The sales staff offered their service to us with absolutely no pressure but the utmost responsiveness. I have purchased many new vehicles in my lifetime but have never had an experience that left me feel as good about the buying process as I had with Lubbers!I most certainly can recommend them on good faith to anyone for service or sales.

Excellent sales and full service dealership. I have been receiving this service for the last twenty five years and eight to ten vehicles later. It's well worth the short drive to Cheney, Kansas to be treated like one of the family and your on vacation. I have bought vehicles on both sides of the fence (Fords & Chevy's) same sales and service. Just purchased a 2011 Ford Fiesta SE from Joe Erdman at Lubbers. I couldnt be happier! I am a pretty picky, inquisitive, and impatient car buyer. Joe kept his cool, and ended up putting me into a great new car. My payments went down significantly as I had taken advantage of the services from FinanceCo which is the in house bank for Lubbers. I had credit issues, and they took care of me.. Now I am financed through GM and rebuilding my credit, thanks to Lubbers.

They didn't try any high pressure tactics. So many sales people try to use sales gimmicks that are irritating. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We felt like they gave us a workable deal that we could live with. So far we are very pleased with our new car.Sincerely Burl Dockum

Went to buy another delivery vehicle. Mark was very helpful and made the transaction smooth and professional as possible. Always easy to work with and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. My husband and I have been dealing with Lubbers for over 4 years for our vehicles! Last year we purchased our first "Brand New" vehicle from Derek Tanner! We are in the process of wanting to purchase a second vehicle soon for me ( due to my back injury and recent surgery, it is very hard for me to get into our pickup) and I am looking forward to working with Derek again!

After shopping all over Wichita to find the SUV I was looking for and running into pushy sales representatives my husband and I decided to drive a little further to Cheney, KS to see what Lubbers Cars could do for us. First off we were very relieved not to run into a pushy sales representative there as well. What an amazing experience. We were treated more like small town family. Thank you for taking good care of us, we needed to delete a vehicle from our fleet and get a more useful vehicle for family use. They came thru on all of their promises to us including an extra key fob which I found out is not cheap. Our experience has been a pleasant one which we will pass on to others that may need a new or different vehicle.

Truly a "no pressure" approach & atmosphere during sales process. Very important: Customers never bothered - and are always allowed to make initial contact with dealership to start sales process. Customers always allowed plenty of time to make decisions too.Ryan Lubbers handles this "no pressure" process like a professional - very much appreciated. He is there to provide courteous guidance, knowledge, and advice if and when requested to. Most all of the Wichita Area Auto Dealerships have very aggressive approaches to sales. Most constantly bombard & hound you with continuous phone calls and e-mails. These dealerships all have salesman that "attack" you like a pack of hound dogs any time you approach their sales floor or lot at their respective dealerships.Lubber's Ford does not behave in such manners. They let their customers call all the shots and are there to provide any technical or financial assistance when requested. Thanks Lubbers ! The "customer-friendly" approach really does work best . It was a wonderful experience working with Jack and Cory. They were extremely quick and efficient in making the purchase happen. Everything was done in less than a day, including a repair and an excellent finance package. Also, we told Jason Pickett what we were looking for, probably a year ago. When the truck was available, he got the process in action. We are so pleased that we can have such quality in our hometown.

I had never before purchased a vehicle from a dealership and was rather worried about the experience. However, after sending my information and telling them exactly what car I wanted, I made a trip out to the dealership. The exact vehicle I wanted and needed was already by the front door waiting for me, and they worked hard to get me the best financing so that I could get the vehicle that I wanted. Nobody tried to upsell me, stuff me into a more expensive vehicle, or make me feel that this was anything but my choice. They did a wonderful job! I will definitely be going back!

So I'm a first time car buyer with not the best of credit. I searched around dealerships and didn't find anyone who would help me with a loan. Searched and found lubbers and Mark called me right away. He got my information asked me what car I was looking for and got back to me within a hour saying that he had some good news. Being my first time buying a car and knowing the "horror" stories some people encountered, I was pretty nerbous. Went in the next day and really felt the great atmosphere. Mark was great! We took the car for a test run and he really knew his stuff. He worked with me to find a car I could afford and I left feeling great. It was such an easy process and I'm the owner of a brand new car.Would recommend EVERYONE to come here! When I get a new car later down the road, no other dealership will get my business besides Lubbers. Amazing experience, great prices, understanding and genuine people. Can't beat that!

Ron Lubbers, is like a fav uncle when buying a truck from him. He's extremely knowledgeable and takes the hassle out of buying a truck. He got my 18 year old son once graduated into a extremely sweet 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 ext cab without any money down and lack of no credit. For that I was appreciated because gave me son something that he could work for and take ownership of! I can't wait to be ready to buy my next car from them, once I'm not upside down anymore (thanks to Mel Hambelton). I highely recommend this guy and this dealership. I promise you won't regret it!!Rick Lubbers, is also awesome you work with. I had the pleasure to meet him in action when I had a couple of small minor things that I noticed within a couple of weeks of receiving the truck. He always got us right into service without any issues or problems and always got things done in rapidly speed time with excellent results. I can't say enough about this dealership!! I'm glad they are local and wish other dealership could be more like them!! You will always return back to them once you give them a chance to treat you like family:)

I was referred to Lubbers by a family member who had also recently purchased a vehicle there. This was my first time buying a car from a dealership. I was currently without a vehicle and was in desperate need to get in to one quickly. I feel like I was greatly taken advantage of being a first time buyer. Granted in part it was my fault for not doing more research but I figured I was able to trust them since a family member suggested them. I ended up paying almost twice what the vehicle was worth. I payed way too much for a warranty that covered way too little and was never used. This purchase has also affected me in the long run as it put me upside down in the loan thousands of dollars. This experience has taught me to do my homework before making a purchase such as this. I will never purchase another vehicle from Lubbers and will never suggest that anyone I know purchase one from them either.

I dealt with Lubbers the last time that I purchased a car - at that time I did not have great credit and they worked really well with me. So, I started with Lubbers for my car search this time. Ken at the Hutchinson location was really helpful - he listened and gave me some great options. He even had a car that he thought I might like brought over to Hutchinson from the Cheney dealership. That was the Ford Fusion that I ended up purchasing. As a woman buying a car on my own, I really appreciated the way that I was treated. I waited to write this review until I saw how the service was after the sale was made, and I'm really pleased with the follow up that I received.I will go to Lubbers again for my next car and recommend them to anyone. And if you can work with Ken, I think he would do a great job for you.

We 1st met Matt Lubbers in 2006 and had a great experience with him. We decided to come back again and had another wonderful transaction again this time. I would HIGHLY reccomend for anyone to go to him to buy a new or used car. He wont give you any bs and he will get you the best deal possible. He's honest and works to get what you need for what you can afford. Can't go wrong by having him as your salesmen. In December I unfortunately had to get some engine work done on my '07 Suburban. The folks in the service department were very professional. The service desk lady, Pam, was very patient in explaining what was involved. I may be old-fashioned but I was impressed that she knew as much as she did! It ended up being an expensive repair that I had no choice but to do, but it really made me feel better about it the way she worked with me. I will definitely refer my friends to Lubbers.

We have bought two cars from Lubbers in the past three years. Also from the same salesman and same finance manager. When we made our first purchase from Lubbers we needed to trade in a big 4 x 4 F-150. My husband has broken his hip and we were still a little bit upside down. We talk to the big Ford dealers in Wichita. All wanted an arm and leg to get us out. Lubbers helped us and even brought the paperwork 100 miles away for my husband to sign because he wasn't able to get up in the pickup and go to the dealership. Lubbers is awesome and I think finding some of the same employees there years later shows the value of this dealership.

We were looking for a used vehicle when we found Lubbers Auto Group in Hutchinson, Kansas. This auto group advertises that they are for the people and we have seen first hand that they stand by their word. We have had some misfortunes recently and our credit has not been very good. Ken, the sales man, was very positive and never once did we feel degraded for having poor credit. Tom, the manager, worked hard on getting the fiancing done. Our worst moment was when we thought we would have a high payment on a 2004 Mountaineer with over 100,000 miles. Tom went to bat for us and found another finance company who lent us a little more money and for a longer period of time. We drove home today in 2011 Chevy Malibu with only 22,000 and $150.00 less on the payment. We would recomment this company to anyone. One happy family, we are!!!

Drove 26.5 miles to get my oil changed. Told me 2.5 hours.Mechanics didn't look busy. No customer consideration,dirty shop,not organized,hap hazard attitude. Managed to get my nitrogen checked in my tires, after telling them twice, it's nitrogen, not air.I bought this vehicle new, from their dealership. Will not by another from them.

I love working with these people. They always seem to bend over backwards to help me. I am greeted with a smile on every visit. I own a 2007 Mustang GT Convertable and it had a bad top and my local dealer (mel hambelton) refused to fix it under warranty, Lubbers steped up to the plate and got me a brand new top and it was replaced under warranty. A big thanks to Doug and Tim at Lubbers!!!

this review is a mixed review. so ill be as clear as possible to seprate the negitive from the positive.Lubbers hutch positive- Ken was my sales person and he is a very good person to work with. Id tried to buy a car from him a few times before and never could find something i liked. he kept in touch with me and finally we found a car i liked. the buying process was simple and easy, the f/i guy made things go smooth.lubbers hutch negitive- first im payin 11k for a 6k car. wtf?? they mark the cars up so much your upside down till its paid off!!if you find a car u like dont plan on havin anything fixed with out a fight. they told me its a used car and to deal with it. when i complained some more they wanted to find me someting else. the lady who is incharge of payments is the most rude person ive ever delt with. I got hurt a work and had a short paycheck, when i called to make an arrangement she said ok but that i wouldnt get a code so i could keep driving my car untill i got caught up on my payments. she told me i shouldnt have bought a car if i couldnt afford it. didnt get to buy grocries that week cause i need my car to commute to work. shows how much they care. the other lady is really nice but isnt incharge of that stuff. so now i call all my payments in so i dont have to deal with the rude lady.lubbers cheney-DONT EVER GO THERE. IF YOU DONT HAVE GOOD CREDIT THEY TREAT YOU LIKE CRAP. took my car in to have the problem they said didnt exist fixed and got it back with damage. did they want to own up to their mess up?? nope, go figure. had to make a claim on my insurance to get it fixed. they were all buddy buddy till they found out i was on buy here pay here, then they treated me like a garbage rat.AND THEY HAD ME SIGN A PAPER SAYING THEY HAD NO KNOWLAGE OF THE CAR BEING A FLEET OR RENTAL. LOOKED AT THE OWNERS BOOK AND THERE WAS A BIG HERTZ STICKER ON THE FRONT!!! they lie the the sun is hot.over all-if you got good credit go for it and buy a car from them great place to blow your 401k. if your credit sucks, go some where else.this dealership is not worth the paper the deal is written on. i plan on refinancing my car asap with someone else.
