I bought my Subaru last week and I couldn’t be happier. Mike was amazing and stayed way past business hours (along with a few others) to make sure we could drive off the lot the same night. Mike wasn’t pushy whatsoever, and did everything he could to make sure we got the loan terms we wanted. Overall, we felt valued and very cared for. They didn’t do nothing for me they didn’t changes or work on the car. like they promise me. Lie to me for a month and nothing on the car was fix at all. I have to take it to my own personal mechanic to fix the problem. The sale use manager Adam is a liar and his people in the financial are harass ever. I will never do business here ever again. Don’t believe or sign nothing until they actually fix the problem or you will suffer and lie like what they did to me

What a great experience. Durrell Martin was excellent! I had been to many dealerships prior to Luther Mazda and had a lot of pressure to test drive cars I wasn't interested in and to buy immediately. My husband and I had visited many dealership in hoping of purchasing our first new car together but had the same experience at all dealerships, no one greeted us and asked if we needed any help! Sales personnel very courteous. Chad Walczak (sales) was very patient with spouses indecision on specific models, then color of vehicle. Provided information about each and offered/recommended the option to test drive any vehicle of her choosing. This was done with no "need to buy now" sales pressure. I am leasing my third Mazda CX5 from this dealership. Chad was extremely helpful in helping me pick the best model options and lease terms to suit my lifestyle. He took time to teach me how to use the car features (nav, satellite radio, etc) and answer questions months after the sale. Had a great experience buying a new Mazda from Luther. Josh has been super helpful, starting from when I came in initially for a test drive, and continuing through ownership. He was able to tell me all of the ups and downs about the car I wanted, and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or pressured into anything. I went to Luther Mazda on Memorial Day with the intention of starting the shopping around routine with them and other dealers. The man I was introduced to was Chad Walczak and I knew I would be buying a vehicle from him almost immediately. He was very personable and he made me feel like he really wanted to be there on a major holiday. Long story short, I bought a dressed up Mazda 3 after a test ride in a Mazda6 and Mazda3. To me, the Mazda3 felt more like a sports car and I am very happy with that and the personal attention I received from Chad. Yesterday I came out of work to find two flat tires. It was already 4 pm and the staff took the time to fix my car, even though their schedule was full. They were there an hour and a half after closing to complete my work. Kevin was awesome, driving to get a needed part himself, due to the late hour. His kindness and authenticity were so appreciated. He went above and beyond. I wouldn't think twice to recommend him or Brookdale Mazda service department!

I was in market to lease a 2016.5 CX5 GT , Eric was the sales person I worked with. While this dealership selling price was higher and when I showed them evidence of lower price elsewhere , they came back with a rather deceiving approach of showing me how they were selling for a lower monthly payment. Their approach was to calculate the tax on the vehicle's total value versus the leased amount and then add it to the payment. So net other dealers were asking for tax of ~900 and they were asking for $ 2,200 as sales tax. And then they had the audacity to say that they brought the price down the difference was just taxes. Mind you the price of the vehicle was not discounted it was just a tactic of showing me how they were discounting the excess taxes which I never was supposed to pay. In the end the difference between sum of all payments they were asking versus the one I got from another dealer was about $1300+. Not good ! When I sought a quote via Costco , Chad responded his price was about $1 cheaper then Eric's but he did not play any games. Chad maintained that he talked to the sales manager and can not go any lower.

I bought a barely used car off the lot that they said had one previous owner, yet I found a sticker in the door compartment that had a rental tag still in it from OnStar. The door paint had bubble marks on it and the salesman, Eric, said it was just some sap. I drove it off the lot. GAH! This is after I had LEFT my new car there over the weekend so they could detail it - and they hadn't done anything to it! So I had to come back so they could finally detail my new car, thankfully they paid for the rental but it was a hassle. The guy in back told me the "sap" mark was something that happens when the buffer gets too hot. In addition to this there was a cigarette burn hole in the rear seat cushion that I didn't notice in the rush to get it off the lot. I did not have a good experience with Eric, nor would I recommend him as a salesperson. He is the reason this dealership lost a star in my updated review.I am updating my review as Charlie took charge and did everything to make this right. I brought it in for an oil change, where he made sure that they ordered a new car seat. They did not charge me for the rental required to service this. He comped me a few oil changes on top of it. He has been in touch with me to make sure things were satisfactory to me. His attention was OUTSTANDING, and I feel confident to bring my Mazda to the dealership now for all future maintenance and work.

After numerous poor car buying experiences in the past, I once again walked into a new dealership in hopes of finding not only the right vehicle, but a team of people I could trust both during the buying process and the years after. Luther Brookdale proved to be that dealership! On a busy Saturday, I was greeted, welcomed and listened to as I filled Ashlee, my sales representative, in on my current car situation and what I was both looking and hoping for in a new vehicle. She not only was receptive to what I was saying, but asked questions, gave opinions and guidance, and truly wanted to make sure I left that day with exactly what I needed. A few hours later, I had traded in my old vehicle, leased the car I had researched and desired, and left not only a happy customer but a now committed client to the dealership and to Ashlee. As someone who has been extremely disappointed in the past at other dealerships, I can not speak highly enough of the team at Luther and of Ashlee. The follow up after purchase was much appreciated and I look forward to doing continued business with Ashlee.

I am from Duluth (about 2 hours away) and we do not have any Mazda dealerships even close to us. I was in the market for a compact SUV and wanted to take Mazda into consideration. I had been in contact with several different Mazda dealerships in the area and it took several weeks of planning to finally be able to go down to one I had been working with (not Luther). When we got there were were SO put off by their unfriendly, uncomfortable attitudes that we didn't even consider going back to purchase there. So, we went to the next closest one: Luther.Which happened to be the best thing to happen during my car shopping experience.Josh was SO helpful and patient, was not pushy (I went in insisting I would not be buying a car that day), truly made it feel like he cared about YOU and not just making a sale. We were so impressed and received such helpful information that we did end up buying a car that day.So pleased! I cannot say enough about how friendly and helpful they are!

I went to Luther Brookdale Maza Mitsubishi with the intention of getting a better understanding on what it would take for me to purchase a new Outlander. I had no intention of actually making the decision to purchase that day... Halloween to be exact.After the test drive, discussion, research, popcorn, sing along, etc. we had found the perfect Outlander that was ironically a pumpkin color... (Copper) seemed all to perfect. I was determined to not purchase a vehicle that day though.... so I told Josh I would be back on Monday to make my final decision. On my way out of the dealership I was made another offer... good for that day only... and was reminded that they closed a bit later, so I still had time....I was true to myself and drove away from the dealership, know that I would be back on Monday and would make the decision. I got a couple of blocks away and pulled onto a side street. I decided that everything was just too perfect and it was silly to wait until Monday... so I turned around and put money down on my new pumpkin car!Everyone was so good to me and the experience was fantastic. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

I had a great experience as soon as I started looking at the cars. Not too long after getting to the dealership did it take for a sales rep by the name of Frank to come and help me. I already had a car in mind but I still wanted to hear about options. Frank knew his stuff and it didn't feel like he was just trying to sell me a car. After testing a few vehicles, I told Frank I would think about it and may be back. A couple of days later I did go back to test a different car with Frank and fell in love. I told Frank again I'd think about. I went back that weekend and ended up getting a brand new car from Luther Mazda Brookdale because of the great customer service! Frank was my sales rep and he was awesome, but I must say I worked with a few different employees and they were all great! I had a great experience here. I chose to lease, rather than buy my car and everyone was very helpful. They barely gave my any cash for my trade in, but they were very flexible working out a deal that I was okay with. Everyone was just great! Especially Chad. He communicated with my on his day off, offered me a great deal on my lease, got me the exact car I wanted (black, manual-which is hard to find), spent time setting up my phone's bluetooth in the car, put in my awesome weather tech car mats for me. We were in need of a replacement for our 2004 Malibu. We were searching for a good value, used sedan, with strong mpg. We found that with a used 2014 Mazda6. The bonus was working with Roger and other members of the team. They answered questions, laid out options, and offered help, with no pressure. We really appreciated that, after an experience where a different dealership, not the sales person, was less than open with us. Roger gave us the carfax right away, without our asking. Once we were serious about the car, he gave us the write up for the dealer's servicing of the car.The finance rep. told us Luther Mazda is interested in building a relationship. I bought my first car from Carhop as an only option (which I will never ever ever refer anyone to). I was in desperate need of a new car while being turned down every where for not enough credit. i decided to try Luther because I loved the what they ran their garage. I dealt with Josh through the whole process. He was immediate to help me, was very detailed in paying attention to my needs in a vehicle and my need payment wise. Everyone at Luther worked very hard to get me in a vehicle that day but with no luck. I figured it would end there but to my surprise the next evening Josh was in contact with me to verify my requirements of a vehicle and emailed me a few options. The next day I walked in, spent a couple of hours and left with my 2013 Kia Soul. Everyone went above and beyond to get me in a vehicle that worked for me as well as was within my payment range. Josh made me feel 100% comfortable and made the 1st dealership e perience a great one. I have had a few problems and questions (none of which where Luther's fault) and everyone jumped through hoops to get everything taken care of for me instead of me stressing and fumbling my way through it when it comes time for me to upgrade, Josh will be the first person I go to.

This is the second vehicle that I've purchased from this dealership. Eric Palmer is the man to go to . My first vehicle purchase was a new Mazda 3 in 2008, and it was the most reliable car I had ever owned. Fast forward to this year. I was looking for a 'retirement' vehicle. I wanted a car with blind spot monitoring, and found a used Mazda 3 i GT hatchback with that feature. One test drive sold me on the car. It did have a few cosmetic issues (rock chips, and minor scratches), which Eric had fixed. I did bring it back a second time, but Eric was very accommodating in taking care of my concerns. Some other dealerships seem to ignore you, after your car is paid for. Not this dealership! The service people are top notch too!

I had looked several weeks for a replacement car for my Chevrolet Impala. I drove almost every compact class car sold in this state with little excitement from the drivers seat. The cars that my decision came down to were the VW Jetta 1.8T, the Chevy Cruze, and the Mazda 3. The Chevy was knocked off the list due to all the recalls GM keeps issuing for them. I was very tempted with the VW but the price tag was way to high for what you get. The Mazda was for sure the one for me. It drives and feels like a vehicle of a much higher price tag. Honestly it drives like a four door sports car. I have gone on a few longer trips since my purchase and I am getting better fuel economy than the EPA rates it at! Now for the dealer. My sales man was Duane Thompson. He helped me with the entire purchase. I told him the monthly payment I was looking for and he made it happen. All my questions have been answered no matter what the topic. Op-on getting the car he made sure to show me around the facility and introduce me to some of the mechanics that would be working on my Mazda in the future. To ensure I knew how to operate all the features on my vehicle Duane personally made sure to go over the whole vehicle and the settings with me. Even after my purchase I have gotten many questions answered regarding the vehicle maintenance. So overall super great experiance and will recommend anyone to go to Luther Mazda and talk to Duane.

I was contemplating a new vehicle purchase for several months and had shopped several dealers and did a lot of online research. Having owned a Mitsubishi Montero before, I was interested in the Outlander Sport. I contacted a salesperson, Randy, via the dealership website chat function and he had the 2 vehicles I was interested in seeing ready and parked up front upon my arrival. Randy was great to work with, no sales pressure, just a friendly guy who answered my questions and pointed out all the features of the vehicles and explained the different trim levels.I was prepared to do battle over the price offered on my trade, having already done research on Kelly Blue Book and Edmonds on fair trade value and retail on my trade. The FIRST offer made was fair and was the amount I would have expected. The finance Manager, Dan was great to deal with and the entire process was painless and so professional. I am happy that the Car Sales business has figured out that they are going to make the consumer more likely to buy a car by treating them with friendliness and courtesy, rather than high pressure and stressful sales practices. I would wholeheartedly recommend Brookdale Mazda Mitsubishi to anyone in the market for a new car.

My car died unexpectedly, and I live in the west exurban area of Minneapolis, necessitating online research for another car. I found the one I wanted at Luther Brookdale and made initial contact by e-mail, where my inquiry was handled by Eric Palmer. At my arrival at the dealership, Chad Walczak made my initial visit pleasant, gave me a test drive and the following day did a deposit transaction by telephone. Dan Nelson facilitated a financial application done on line with a telephone call offering an installment loan suitable for my needs, and when I was able to secure another ride to the dealership, Chad and Dan made sure the purchase visit and transaction was professionally done. Clearly the Luther Dealerships train their employees well, and clearly these men are qualified to help the car buyer in every respect. I'm very impressed, and would recommend them to anyone.

I'm not normally a loyal dealership person. My family has owned independent autobody companies all of my life in southern Minnesota and now in Iowa, so I lean toward the independents. However, I first went to Brookdale Mitsubishi/Mazda a couple of years ago to get a new key made for my Mitsubishi Galant. While I was waiting for Service to program my new key, I decided to look at a few SUVs. I wanted a taller vehicle with some room to haul things when I needed to. I left the dealership in a pearl white Mazda CX-7. Got it for a very fair price and they gave me much more than I imagined I would get on trading in my Galant. I've been a loyal customer ever since. They are always honest, with no pressure - a winning combination for me. I just had 4 new tires put on and a wheel alignment. I paid about $100 more than I would have at Discount Tire, but knowing the quality of the tires was better and that the installation and alignment would be done right, it was MORE than worth it!

We got the 2015 Outlander Sport and are very happy with it. Eric was great, very knowledgeable and helpful! I brought my 2007 Eclipse Spyder in for routine maintenance & a few interior trim replacement pieces/parts (estimate) ~ I received a call from Paul within just an hour or so of my appointment time letting me know my car was done already & that he enjoyed how "happy" my car made him 1st thing that morning, with all of my dancing solar figurines & bright seat covers throughout my car! lol! It was a pleasure talking with him as well as hearing that my car was still in great shape after 2 years! I also ran into my Salesman when I picked up my car ~ He was just as happy & friendly as he was the day I purchased it 2 years ago! Very positive experience in a stressful time. My 2001 Tribute was in service as a result of an engine fire. My insurance co. decided they would not cover any damages. Paul S in service was very up- front and honest with their estimate and appraisal of the situation. I decided the cost of the repair was not worth the investment and Paul put me in touch with Mike in Sales. Mike and i worked out a deal and Dan in Finance made the numbers work. Within 1/2 a day I left with a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander and could not have been easier

I came to Luther Brookdale Mazda Mitsubishi to buy a new car. I picked a car; test drove it, tested everything else and was satisfied with my choice. I let the sales representative to know that I would like to buy this car. I found surprisingly that they are selling me a DIFFERENT car, the VIN number in papers is different, they switched VIN numbers during paperwork not notifying me. They were pulling a classic bait-and-switch. I asked for the car that I tested, but the salesman became rude and started screaming and pushing me to buy that different car. I decided to talk to a manager, but the manager started pushing me to buy that different car too, and said that he does not see anything wrong in selling a different car. Surprised with this pattern of behavior I called in police and cancelled the transaction. I will not recommend this dealership to anybody. The worst experience ever.

Worked with Chad to purchase a new 2014 CX-9. I was coming from a 1999 Chevy Blazer that I bought new, so a long term relationship with a dealer is important to me. After shopping around, I chose Brookdale Mazda because they seemed to be more professional and easy to deal with than the others. I found a better price at a different dealer and they matched it (they still made their profit, all dealers do). Time will tell about the service department, but the purchase went great. Great salesman, no pressure, fast and efficient. Afterwards, when I had my keys and was in the car ready to leave, Chad insisted on showing me more features the CX-9 offered, even though the sale was complete. That's something that makes you feel like you made a good move choosing that dealership. I'm very happy with my purchase.

At 52 years old this is our first new car purchase. This is my 4th car purchase from a Luther dealer. I was very pleased with the help we got in the purchase of our Mazda 5. Even though we could not get the package we wanted they went out of their way to give us what we wanted. Funny thing is we picked Jeff because of his age (young) thinking we would feel less pressure from him, and it worked. We were happy with the whole process. They also let us use our trade in for a week because we needed hand controls in the new vehicle for wife, and they accommodated us with that. Hats off to Luther Mazda!!!

I purchased a used car from Salesperson Randy Smith. Lots of promises were made during the purchase. Within the first 30 days, I had issues with the car and had to take it back for service twice. The belt tensioner and basic spark plugs. Once my 30-day warranty expired, they wanted nothing to do with me. After taking my vehicle to another party to fix, a professional mechanic, we discovered the car had been in a accident. This was NEVER disclosed to me throughout the buying process or during the warranty period. My 30-day warranty had expired. I called several time and never received a return call. I had to keep calling for someone to help me. Every time I was able to connect with Randy Smith, he would tell me that he would call me back after he talked with someone, different people each time. Never happened. My experience matches the old adage of never trust a used car sales man.

I originally came just to see if Luther would buy a used truck that I did not want anymore. In my mind I was considering that I may have to make a trade and would have to part with my Lancer as well as the truck. I was prepared for that. I knew that it was meant to be, when I pulled in to the parking lot and Eric Palmer was outside. We greeted each other and he said that he would get right to me. I wanted to work with him because he had sold me a brand new Lancer 2 years ago. At that time I really wanted an Outlander Sport, but for some reason I was not all that impressed with it. This time however, Eric knew exactly what I need and what my history of cars was. I was happy that you kept my 2 "old" vehicles and I drove off the lot with a brand "NEW" car, which I really like. Every one was very nice to me. It was nice working with Kellie, in the leasing area, and Robert Vizenor, Sales Manager. Nice to meet all of you. And of course, I cannot forget all the guys in service, who I have know some of them since we started out with Mitsubishi vehicles when they were in Wayzata. I was referred to this dealer by a friend of my son's when I told him I was searching for a new compact SUV. After selecting the Mazda CX-5, I decided to try this dealer in spite of the extra 1/2 hour distance from Morries Mazda. They were quite friendly, listened to my reasoning for wanting to buy either a Touring or Grand Touring model and gave me all the financial and model differences along with a quote for either model. After some researching, I returned and purchased the Grand Touring model. The financing process was easy, but took more time than it needed to as Kellie and I engaged in too much non-essential conversation. Even though I had forgotten to bring my original title and Lien release, I drove away in my new car with a promise to mail the paperwork. No hassle whatsoever. I gave pricing a Good rather than a higher mark because I was a bit perturbed about what appeared to be a "bait & switch" tactic which all car dealers are well known for. An advertised "Auto Show" discount was "included" in the discount from the MSRP. It was only $250. bit still, it bothered me that this discount never showed up on the invoice as a reduction in price.On the other hand, they were quite fair with me on the value of my trade-in, so it worked out OK.From my experience, I would recommend this dealer to others looking for one of their brands.

Do NOT buy a car here.... They screwed up my paperwork repeatedly. Took over 3 weeks for them to get it right. Financing person made mistakes in crediting me for my down payment and I had to wait 3 1/2 hours to meet with her while other finance person walked out of the office with customers waiting. Then they screwed up my trade in paperwork and threatened me that I would be responsible for parking violations, etc when they had the car FOR WEEKS.Very rude, unprofessional, incompetent and careless.... Get your quote here and then go to their competitors or you'll be VERY SORRY.This is part of their letter to me......Our commitment to customer satisfaction is stronger than ever. I came to Brookdale Mazda after visiting several other dealers. I had narrowed down my search to the car I wanted, but hadn't yet felt comforstable with a dealer. I don't live near Brookdale, but took the trek because I was happy with the service my old Subaru had gotten at a Luther dealership.I am very glad I made the drive. Eric Palmer was my salesperson, and he was the first person I'd talked to who actually knew in detail about the CX-5 I was buying. He was friendly, respectful, and straightforward. Negotiation for my new car purchase and my old car trade in was very easy and transparent. Before I left, Eric made sure I knew how to operate the newer features on my car and made it clear I could call with any questions. He also introduced me to the service department.I would definitely recommend Brookdale Mazda for buying a car, and Eric Palmer as a salesperson. Not having purchased a truly "new" new vehicle in nearly 20 years, I came to Brookdale Mazda/Mitsubishi by default, since they were the Mazda dealer closest to me. The purchase experience was unexpectedly pleasant no strings on the test drive and I was suitably impressed by the fit and finish of the Mazda I drove. Salesman Duane Thompson was pleasant to work with from test drive to trade-in evaluation to purchase negotiation, and I got none of those "high-pressure" vibes that are easy to get when making what is for me a sizable purchase.I was looking for the absolute base model, not because it was least expensive, but because it was the only trim level that offered a manual transmission (I hate automatics). Knowing from the beginning that I was looking only at the least expensive model line, I could not help but notice that Brookdale's selection of the absolute base model was limited, but that was no surprise. Selection of intermediate and upscale models was very broad, and if I'd been interested in an automatic transmission, I'd have had many choices.With less than 200 miles on the car since I took delivery, I've had no opportunity to use Brookdale's service department, so I can't rate "quality of work," but my overall impression of the dealership and its personnel is certainly positive at this point. I've ordered a couple of accessory items that will need to be installed, and once those parts arrive and that work is completed, I'll have a better impression of Brookdale's service performance. I've already recommended the dealer and Mr. Thompson to my son, who'll be shopping for a new(er) vehicle at some point in 2014.

I preshopped online and then contacted the Internet Sales Associate, Sam. We exchanged a couple emails about what I was looking for and when I could come in. When I did go in, I was treated as if he had known me a while. Kelli, the Finance Manager was wonderful with a great sense of humor. I have never been a big fan of car shopping as my past vehicle demonstrated (250,000 miles) but this was a relatively painless (although expensive!) experience. My husband & I came into the Mazda dealership inquiring about the Mazda 5 on a busy Saturday afternoon. Duane Thompson was asked to assist us. Even with all of our questions and the how busy the dealership was, he took his time with us, and told us the features of the 2014 Mazda 5.Well Ron came back on Tuesday 7/30 to talk with Duane and see if we could setup a time to purchase the Mazda. Even though it was to be Duane's day off on Wed 7/31, he did agree to come in. On Wed we took it for a ride with Duane, and he showed us the special features that we probably would not know for ourselfs for quite some time. I really appreciate this....the last time we bought a new SUV was 10 years ago. And that left a bad feeling with me with the dealership. They were so attentive to you until the papers were signed and then couldn't wait for you to leave so they could get to the next customerWhen you are purchasing a car, you have got to know in advance that it takes awhile for everything to work in sync. My daughter and I came to Luther to test drive a used car that ultimately was not a good fit. It wasn't a Luther-specific issue - we hadn't been able to find anything anywhere that met our criteria. We were discouraged with the selection of cars within our price range, and were on a very tight time frame to find a car! This was our second time in the car buying process in a matter of weeks, as we had just been badly taken advantage of in a sale with a private seller. We wanted to do everything right this time, and find a car we could count on. Chad Walczak did not know our history with the other car, but he did know that there was a car on the lot just right for my college age daughter. He recommended we consider a slightly higher price range, and while that was a hard decision to make, it allowed us to drive away with a car that is safe, economical, fun, reliable, and whose entire maintenance history was done at the dealership from its very first mile. Peace of mind in the shape of a Mitsubishi Outlander. I am thankful for Chad's authentic manner. He listens, deals straight, and respects the customer and the business he's in. He has fun doing his job. My daughter is a first time car buyer, and he didn't patronize her. He taught her a few things she needed to know, and let her ask questions. Dan Nelson in finance deserves a mention as well. He was the nicest person I have ever encountered across the desk in a car buying transaction! I didn't feel pressured or pushed to add anything extra. Again, the word authentic comes to mind. Thanks for a great experience. I have a lot of experience with Brookdale Mazda Mitsubishi and with Chad in particular. This was my third purchase and, as always, couldn't have been better. I can be very indecisive and difficult to work with but both Chad and Phil were extremely patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. Not only was Phil able to get me top dollar for my trade, but Chad worked hard to get me exactly what I wanted at a price I couldn't pass up. Even though the deal is final and it has been about three weeks since my purchase, Chad still keeps in contact and takes the time to answer any questions I may have. I stopped in to get my oil changed on my CX7, and while waiting, I walked through the showroom and saw the new Mazda 6, and I fell in love with it the new design. I contacted my salesman, Chad Walczak, who I have bought my last 3 vehicles from because he is such a great guy and works hard to get us good deals, and he worked it out so that I could drive away with the car I wanted, and dropped my payments at the same time! We had a great experience shopping for a used car at Brookdale Mazda. We stopped in on a Saturday to see the used inventory and Eric got our needs whittled down to two vehicles. He showed the vehicles to us and answered all of our questions knowledgeably. There was no pressure to test drive or commit to either one. I am an expatriate freshly arrived in the US. I have been looking for finance for a car everywhere asking for advice from the HR/Mobility department of my company and other relocation agency.I went to this dealership to check out a car I had seen on internet. I met Chad. I explained my situation. And he did everything he could 1) to explain to me the process of buying a car in the US; 2)to find me financing. He gave me tips that enabled me to find very competitive rates despite my lack of credit history. Brilliant!Chad was very friendly and patient with me, answered all my questions and provided me with all information needed.I finally bought the car and I enjoy it a lot!With the latest snowfalls, 10 days after my purchase, a plastic part under the car became loose, collected snow, and broke. I brought the car back to Chad, explained the situation. In no time he booked my car in with their mechanics, organised a loan car for me and arranged everything. Two days later I was in my car again, all fixed at no expense.Overall, a very good experience. Chad earned my trust and I would recommend him with closed eyes!

I had an excellent purchasing experience with the good folks at Brookdale Mazda the week of 3/25/2013, including Chad Walczak in new car sales, Dan Nelson in finance, and General Manager Gary Peterson. These three gentlemen were friendly, informative, efficient and made the entire experience a painless, low key affair. This wasn't the first time I've purchased from Brookdale Mazda and it won't be my last due solely to these three guys.Chad was able to get me into a vehicle I didn't think I could afford (2014 Mazda 6 Touring) all the while maintaining my original budget with some creative alternatives based on an old used car trade-in I had. Chad's knowledge of the product and love of working with people (and cars) showed, and there were no high pressure tactics involved (how refreshing)!Gary's small town roots and friendly manner and sense of humor made me feel right at home and we shared a few laughs together.Dan in finance was a "good guy next door" kind of neighborly guy who made the whole contractual paperwork process short and painless (under an hour) with no high pressure "close the sale" tactics or add-on recommendations whatsoever (although he detailed various options for me at my request)! He even double checked the final numbers for me without me asking him to. It was like these guys threw away the traditional "how to run a dealership" book and actually decided to cater to the needs of their customers, what a refreshing concept. They genuinely worked great together as a team (one could tell they'd been together for a while) and worked hard to earn and keep my business. All were car enthusiasts too, which was important to me.This dealership was a bit out of the way for me but it was worth driving the extra 15 miles or so just to deal with what felt like a small town community dealership in the middle of a large city. Post sale add-ons are good too, what with the free oil changes and gas and car wash discounts. Kudos to these three guys for a job truly well done in an industry rife with a reputation for high pressure sales tactics. This experience was as "low pressure" and fun as the car buying experience should and can be these days.Last, their service department has a ton of experience and is one of the best Mazda service departments in the upper midwest based on my own experiences and from what I've heard elsewhere.

I had a great experience at Luther Brookdale Mazda Mitsubishi, in my quest to replace my 2011 Mazda3 with a 2013 Mazda's CX-5. I had researched both the value of my trade-in and that of the CX-5 ahead of visiting any dealership. My first instinct was to go back to the dealership where I purchased my Mazda3 less than 2 years ago. I had been a faithful customer, servicing my car every 5,000 miles in their service department, but when they gave such a low-ball offer on my trade, I decided it was time to look elsewhere. Bye bye Morrie's. Hello Luther.I had never been to Luther Brookdale Mazda Mitsubishi as it isnt on my beaten path, however they made it well worth my while by exceeding my expectations. Not only did they give me a great price on my trade, they were also good to work with in my quest to purchase a new CX-5.Eric Palmer had responded to my e-mail inquiry by contrasting the 2013 vs. 2014 models he had on the lot. I selected the one that best fit my needs and he had the car warmed up and ready to test drive when I arrived on that cold Saturday morning. He was great to work with. No high-pressure sales, just extremely informative about his product which helped me finalize my purchase decision. I value the experience I had at Luther Brookdale Mazda Mitsubishi and would highly recommend them. They are a no frills dealership, but more importantly they earned my trust. I live about 2 hours from this dealership. I wanted a certain type of car, and found their online ad on CarGurus.com. It looked like a great deal. I communicated via email and phone with the dealership. They were quick to respond to my queries and answer questions. Since it looked like a good deal, I made the 2-hour trip to the dealership. The car was in great shape--beautiful, and I really liked how it handled. However, I was extremely disappointed to learn that I had been misled. Their online ad touted the many features of the car, including keyless entry and cruise control. The car did not have these items.Eric tried to alleviate some of the difficulty, and lowered the price somewhat, but not enough to cover what it would cost for me to have the additional features installed myself.The staff were friendly & not pushy (Eric did a great job). I can hope that the online ad was a mistake. Because of the long trip to the dealership, I did purchase the car. I am very pleased with the car overall, but it rankled me quite badly that I was misled. Hopefully they will do a thorough review of their online ads to make sure they're all truthful.

I had tires installed on 1/16/13. On my way home from the dealership, one went flat and would not keep any air in it. I called and they said that it must have been installed in correctly and that they had more in stock so put the spare on and bring it in and they would repalce it. Due to how it was installed, the tire would not come off and I had to take it (and pay for) to National Tire to get it off. When I returned to Luther, the tires were not in stock so they had to be ordered. I now had to make a third trip to the dealership. They did nothing for their install error, nor my time and inconience. Will not recommend nor will I return.

We purchased a Mazda Miata from Eric Palmer. Eric was very attentive, knew his product well and did not use any high pressure or typical tactics to sell us a car. The price Eric presented us was lower than any other comparable vehicle in Minneapolis. Dan Nelson finished the paperwork with the same pleasant, friendly manor. Dan was also very quick respond to questions I had after the sale. Both gentlemen were excellent to deal with. I rarely ever write reviews but after waiting a few days and receiving no responds from Luther Brookdale Mazda Mitsubishi regarding my complaints, I am forced to write one.The left rare light on my 2007 Mitsubishi Gallant stopped working; initially I thought it was the bulb so I changed it. The rare left light worked for a few days and again stopped suddenly, and then the front light went out.I brought my car to Luther Brookdale Mazda Mitsubishi. I paid for a rental/loaner because the car had to stay. After several hours I was told the problems were discovered and the issues were repaired, and I should pick up my car.I arrived at the Service Center, paid for the service and went to my car, started the car, drum rolls please!!!! The lights did not work; it did not even come on.So how does one get a call from a dealership/Service Center telling you your car is ready only to find that it was never repaired? Especially something as visible as a light, anyone could have seen that it never came on; BUT they handed me the keys anyway.I was informed that the wrong lights was worked on or was reported as broken. I waited while a technician came out with tools and started to work on the lights, discovered that it had the same broken lamp and needed replacement. Even though the lights was fixed and I was late for class, I soon discovered that the replacement bulb has a different color, and now one of the tail blinker is white and the other is yellow. This car has only 29000 miles! I brought my car to the dealership specifically to avoid this problem; I wanted the exact part, same as the manufacturer so that all is in place. I sent the service tech, Rick G. an email message and I also left him a detail phone message but he did not respond to either one of them. I have experienced similar incident at Luther Brookdale Mazda Mitsubishi, when my car made a certain noise, brought it in and was told it was fixed only to discover the problem was even worse than when I had brought it in. I returned the car and discovered it was never driven, so the technician never heard the noise. This time they drove it and confirmed that there was a problem, and replaced both front rotors. I usually do not make a big deal, but Rick never returned my call, and I find it shocking and disturbing that a Service Center which has posters on the wall claiming they are "Award Winning Service" will not notice a light was not working; or drove the car to hear the noise.I left Rick my message about 4 days ago and sent him an email, enough time to respond. Now I drive around with different colored lights.In the interest of fairness, a guy named Paul and another named Tim were very friendly and concern but because I was assigned to Rick, I decided to complain to him.Thanks for Reading.Patrick

Tim from service worked with the technician (John) and Mazda engineers from the national office to solve a perplexing problem with a check engine light. The car was running too lean. After much troubleshooting and tweaking they got the air/fuel mixture tuning correct. The car runs better. This was definitely a difficult nut to crack and I really appreciated their persistence.

Duane was great to work with. He took the time to familiarize me with the car and to make sure that I understood how things worked before I left the lot with my new Mazda 3. As the primary drive of the vehicle, he spent a lot of time addressing my questions and never made me feel as though they weren't important. When I bought my previous vehicle (a Toyota), the salesman barely acknowledged me, speaking instead to my husband even though I was the primary driver. He arranged for the car to be put up on a hoist in the service dept. at my husband's request so we could see how to change the oil etc. He also introduced us to someone in the service dept. and made sure we understood where to bring the car for the first free oil change and for other service as needed.Kelly was also very nice to work with. We went over a lot of paperwork and options available to me (such as the rust proofing etc.) and made it all seem very clear and understandable. The man in the service dept. who put the car up on the hoist was very nice and also very clear about what would be needed to do minor service to the car if we decide to do that (ie. oil changes).Overall, a great buying experience.

I stumbled across this dealership based on the location being a bit closer than the Mazda dedalership in White Bear that I originally bought my Mazda Tribute from. I went to get a safety recall issue fixed and will never go back to White Bear. I have never come across a friendlier, more polite and helpful staff. They expressed genuine interest in their customers and did not push any unecessary services. I will be going back here for service as long as I live in MN!

I was helping my Dad to buy or lease a car. John told us that they are waiting to hearfrom the Bank and it may take from 20 minutes to 2 hours. He recommended to me and my parentsto get a lunch and he will call us as soon as he heard from the bank. 2 1/2 hours later no phone call.I called them and talk to John, He said he will check on it and call me back within 3 minutes. waited another 1/2 hour still no phone call. I call them again who ever answered the phone was very rude. I told him the situation and his answer to me is John is busy helping other customer. I told him we are customer to that John had waited for almost 3 hours. Left a voicemail to John and he never even call us back to appologize that he let us waited that long. Worst customer service experience in my life.I'm so mad i can't stand it.

Very impressed with salesperson Eric Palmer, Sam & finance Dan Nelson. This dealer is much more friendly and personable than another Mazda dealer in the Metro area that we visited.Brookdale had Lower prices for same model, better deals and no snobby sales people. Eric really went out of his way to get us the model & color we wanted even though it wasn't on their lot. One was on it's way, but due to an unforscene time delay on that we had to wait longer than expected. we were on a personal time constraint for a new vehicle and Eric did an excellent job keeping us informed and even got us a loaner to use because the delay left me without a vehicle. They were very honest and up front with the whole progress of the delivery. Very much appreciated and the main reason we decided to wait and keep the purchase with them.Also very honest on pricing and kept thier word with discounts and promotional sales promised from the start. No surprises on pricing at the end once the vehicle came in and were signing the final papers. Dan Nelson was quick & efficient with the financing as well.Great overall experience for our new car purchase. would recommend them.

This was my first stop for car shopping. I found a car that I was madly in love with and was convinced I would be going home with. I have always loved Mazdas and actually my dream car is a Mazda. However after this visit, I'm having second thoughts. I don't recall the guy introducing himself really with his name. He seemed incredibly nice and eager to help us. Till he said he would run some pricing numbers and then never came back. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone that I know. I went to other dealers that were willing to do anything to get me to leave with a car. And now I own an amazing Hyundai from a great dealership, unlike this crappy first stop mistake.

I had done my research as to reviews, expected cost of vehicle, value of my trade-in, as I would expect any serious buyer would do. I had not been in this dealership before, and was fortunate to get a salesman of Eric Palmer's caliber. Offered a test drive right away, the main reason I had stopped, was satisified with that, Eric was knowledgeable about the car, should be a no-brainer, but have dealt with some sales people who seemed to know a lot less than I about their product. Have purchased about 12 new cars in my lifetime, this experience would rate right up there with the best. Found a car in their inventory that I liked, and closed the deal in a day.

Bought a new Mazda 3 here and had a good experience before I purchased this vehicle in the rain at night. When I was able to look the car over (after purchasing) I noticed a few scratches by the door and a paint gouge at the rear corner of the vehicle. I brought this up a couple days later to Duane who had asked when I noticed it and talked to the manager who had ok'd the vehicle to be repaired. He seemed a bit irritated and almost seemed like he didn't beleive me that it went out the door like that. After the purchase I felt like an inconvenience more than anything but am happy they are going to fix it. Hopefully it will turn out ok :)The price was also a bit high I thought.

I went there to take my mazda for regular services. The guys who check you in are extremly arrogant and unfriendly. The workmanship on the car is good, as i have not had any problems with the repairs done. Come time to pay, theadirs behind tbe desk were busy talking about some tv show and totally ignores me when i stood there waitin to pay. I had toget their attention by coughing and showing me credit card. Right now i drive an hour away to burnsville for services on my mazda rather than deal with that group again. My neigjbor has expressed similar sentiments about this dealership.

I was very happy with the low pressure sales approach. I had been looking for a car for quite a while and they understood the time table and did over push. The website was very good and had an up to date inventory complete with MSRP and their sale price. I checked other Mazda dealers and the price was as good or better. The only negative was that they had not gone over the extended warranty options until I came to pick up the car. I would have liked to had time to research the options and to make an informed decision. Subsequently I declined them all. Had they reviewed them with me beforehand I may have selected one or more of the options. I recommend that the options be covered in the web site and/or reviewed with the salesman prior to last minute.

We had a great experience. Aaron Rice was helpful and very responsive. He was informative and made us feel at ease. We never felt pressured. He seemed very comfortable with out being too casual, and treated us respectfully. Compared to a different dealership we had been to during our search, Brookdale Mazda was a realbreath of fresh air.Dan Nelson in Finance was also very professional and easy to work with.

Everyone was friendly and very helpful in helping me find the RIGHT car AND in making certain I was happy with my purchase. All I can say is, 'WOW'. In addition to needing an oil change, I was having engine troubles. Tim in the service department was extremely helpful, keeping me up to date on the process and findings. He and the department double and triple-checked my engine and latest updates on the vehicle to insure that the problem was completely resolved, for which most of the parts and labor turned out to still be under warranty due to the great Mitsubishi warranty policy. Due to an additional hour of work needed to complete everything, my vehicle needed to stay overnight, and when an update came out the next morning on a different aspect of my vehicle, Tim and the service department were quick to replace this as well. They really did everything in their power to make me feel comfortable and knowledgeable throughout the process and to make the repairs as affordable as possible. I am new to Minnesota and have owned various other auto brands, and this was one of the best experiences I have ever had with my vehicle.

I purchased my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero from another dealer. If I had to do it over I would purchase from Brookdale Mazda/Mitsubishi. From the time of scheduling to the time of pick up it was a good experience. Being female I never felt like I was being taken advantage of, or treated like I didn't have a clue about my vehicle. We had a great experience while looking for a new car at Brookdale Mazda. John Rauch patiently described the features of each of the cars that we were interested in checking out. He cleaned off (lots of snow the night before),and warmed up five different cars for us to test drive before we chose our Mazda6. He explained leasing as well as buying options, with the advantages and disadvantages of each. We were not pressured, hassled, or rushed in our purchase. At the end of the day, terrible customer service. My vehicle was diagnosed, and a follow-up appointment was scheduled. I dropped the car off as requested the night before. I got a call the next day telling me that my tires needed replacement...despite the fact that they were in fine shape the previous week. They won't admit it, but this was a simple case of recommending service that was not needed to boost sales. Plain awful...just slimy!

The staff at Luther Mazda, is absolutely amazing!! They are all so friendly, and helpful. I went in for an oil change, and was concerned about my exhaust pipes, one of the service men came out to my car to look at it, and directed me on what I should do. I was so pleased that he took the time to come diagnose my issue. And I love that they always wash my car, that's truly a bonus!!

Service was an oil change.Appointment was timely, staff is friendly and efficient.Vehicle was washed and ready when promised.It's nice to be able to drop the vehicle off quickly without alot of paperwork.Vehicle pick-up took about 4 minutes. Total visit was over lunch (about 1 hour).Great Job.

My first 2 cars have been Fords but decided to go for a Mitsubishi, first because I enjoy the new eclipse and 2nd because Ford has had terrible customer service in the past. The customer service with Mitsubishi has been pretty good thus far, but the only thing that bothered me was when, I had a tech in my car so I could show him the issue I had with my driver side speaker. First reply that came out was rather negative and was him saying "Not sure if I can fix that because bass today causes issues with speakers and since that is a techno song, I am not sure, but I can check in with the boss" or whomever he was referring to. After hearing that I looked up my warranty which states that audio unit parts are covered for 3yr/36000k miles. I was a bit nervous waiting for a phone call about the car. But sure enough when I arrived to pick up the car it was all fixed and that made me very very happy. I guess all I can say is everything was A+ and if your techs could be a little more positive before they speak with customers, that would be great.

The service was prompt and as expected. I reviewed the service requirements based on mileage when I brought my vehicle in and the representative only advised what needed to be done at this time and gave a heads up on what is due for the more extensive service at 30,000 miles. I was especially pleased by the shuttle service to and from my office by one of the staff. He apparently is a a retired driver and was very personable.

Since I've purchased my car I have had amazing customer service from all employees I've dealt with. I recently just had my oil changed and was pleasantly surprised that they washed my car as an added bonus. The price was amazing and the regular price for an oil change in the future is less expensive than what I am used to paying. I would recommend Luther to anyone purchasing a vehicle. My only issue with the dealership is the degree of add on sales (interior protection, extended warranty and so on) that was expended. Bought my car here in 2007 and have only brought it here for service. Customer service is fantastic. Everyone is very friendly and the service manager is fantastic should you have any concerns. They always offer to wash my car if I would like and they are always more than happy to hook me up with a rental should I need to leave my car there for the day. They are on the ball from an oil change to something more major like a part replacement. My car won't be seeing any other service shops anytime soon. Another huge plus is all your service history is available online as well as being able to schedule your service visits WITH OUT having to pick up the phone. It's so nice to be able to look at a calendar of dates and times and schedule your appointment on your schedule.

This was my 2nd car purchase from Luther in the last 2 1/2 years. They've treated me really well so it made my decision to buy another Mazda from them really easy. They've never tried to screw me over in the auto shop with unneeded repairs or anything. Very honest and straightforward. The sales process was really easy too, I knew what I wanted and they knew what they wanted, we didn't waste any time with an annoying sales/negotiation process. When there was a discrepancy between the price tag on the car and what I had seen online the salesman went online, found the price I had seen and immediately accepted it. I bought my used car from this dealership and felt I was treated fairly and honestly. I have brought my car in for service at this dealership only because it was still under warranty. As most dealers, they are more expensive than the mechanic I normally use, although their customer service is usually more flexible because they have more employees and longer hours. Their coupons for oil changes that are emailed to me are usually a good deal and they always give my car a washing as well, which most cheaper places do not do. Their service is great, but because the price is higher at Luther Mazda, I will bring my car to my old mechanic unless I have a warranty issue or to use a discount oil change coupon.

I have had my Galant for just short of 8 yrs. and I would say that 99% of service on my car has been done at this dealership. Overall I'd say that I have been satisfied with each visit and the work done. The service personal are great and if I don't understand something they do their best to explain it. They are knowledgable and friendly. The work is generally done in the time period that they quote and up to this date I have not had to return because something is not done properly. I will continue to return to this dealership when I need help and I would recommend it to others. Both for sales and service.

I went there specifically to buy a used Mazda 3 hatchback. The one I wanted was already gone, but the sales rep found me one that was almost identical with less miles and even dropped the price a bit to put it in our range. The car has been awesome. This monday I took the car to get a couple small items looked at after a week of owning. They got me right into the shop within about five minutes. One of their techs took a drive with me and let me show him the points of concern. When we got back, it went right into the work area. They didn't hassle me because of it being under warranty. Everything is covered and the car is awesome. These people are amazing.

They are definitely not the closest Mazda dealership to my home but I have been bringing my car to them since the purchase of my car and those extra few miles difference is well worth it. They have a great staff that treat you as if you were their only customer.

First of all the sales guy was good, the people that were behind him were ok at best. It took them like 3 hours to process my loan even though I was pre-approved, I was there from like 10am to 2:45 pm and that's with finding the car that I bought in the first 30 minutes. The manager almost lost my buisness over $200 dollars trying to talk down my trade-in.I was offered $7,700 at a couple other dealerships, Luther only wanted to give me $7000. I had to argue with the manager for 15 minutes to get $7600 for it, I was just about to walk out but decided to take the $100 loss on my 2004 Ford Explorer that they are now selling for $11,990. That makes me wonder how good of a deal that I actually got. They also claim to have the best price, not true I found over 10 cars locally that had less miles and were also cheaper. I bought the 2004 Explorer 3 years ago for $10,000 with 48,000 miles now it has 82,000 miles on it and they will probably get some sucker to pay $11,900 for it, how could they possibly be considered a best price dealer. I bought two cars from luther a few years ago and their way of buisness suretook a turn for the worse.

I had car trouble in the horrible heat. There was nothing leading up to it but when I went into my car to start it, it did nothing. I checked the flashing light in my car's manual to understand it was a security issue. I called the service department and talked to Tim. He explained my battery could be dead or the chip in my key was not recognized by my car. When I tried to jump the car and that didn't work, I called Tim back. The service department had already closed and since Tim was still in the building he accepted my call and hooked me up with a towing company that would bring my car to their dealership.Throughout the years (this is my second Mazda), I have been very pleased with the service I get at Brookdale Mazda Mitsubishi and would most certainly recommend them without reservation!

I had a very miserable experience with Mazda service department. I was informed of their shuttle service, and was very excited to be able to drop off my vehicle and let them work on it without it interrupting my work day. However, instead I was 45 minutes LATE to work, had to keep calling to find out the status of my Mazda (even though they told me they would call me and keep me informed). I then tried to be prepared and called early to let them know what time I would like to be picked up. Even though I had called early I ended up waiting outside, in the hot sun, for an hour to be picked up. The prices were 3-4x what my normal mechanic is (not kidding!). It was over $100 just to have them tell me why a light was going off in my car. I was really disappointed by this experience and will not be going back.

I visited this dealership looking to get a car. Extremely pushy. Kept asking me to make a purchase on that day. Unwilling to provide the lowest price unless I commit to purchasing on that day (seems really silly) and full of empty promises. I really regret wasting my time here. If and a big if they ever provided the lowest price, I rather pay more elsewhere because I just don't like they way they push the customers into making a decision ASAP. An advice to the dealers in luther, stop treating every customer as though you will be fired the next day if you don't make the sale. Being pushy ain't gonna get you nowhere.
