Mankato Luther Honda's service department is one of a kind! Their professionalism, friendliness, and customer service is top notch. I have alway been greeted by a friendly and informative staff member and have always been explained in detail the service needs with my vehicle. They do not push unnecessary repairs and let me know what to expect the next time I come in. They explained their process as "informing individuals of what they would want done if it were there own vehicle" and I truly trust their judgement. Thanks for another fantastic experience!

They have always been great for customer service as they CARE and theyre RESPONSIVE!1.Our CRV had ongoing VTC actuator issues and they replaced it and kept us informed until there was a final resolution - they provided a loaner vehicle when needed.2.They were able to replace the VTC actuator on our accord as well without any questions even when it was a little outside warranty range - they provided a loaner vehicle when needed. 3.They proactively took care of getting a battery replaced under warranty even when we weren't seeing any issues with it at the time.

Changed new set of tires for 08 Accord and they reminded me of the overdue airbag recall and had it done also. The tires are a bit pricey but they gave me a rebate form, and the new tires feel great to drive. Both services are done promptly.

Going into the service area was prompt and courteous to have an oil and filter change, tire rotation, inspection, and an airbag part replacement all which was done in short order. They were able to fix the bed trunk latch cover as well. Waiting area was nice.

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Service done in the allotted time. They did the "routine oil" change, tire rotation, antifreeze change, replaced recall airbag and it was quite expensive and as below, the vehicle was not even vacuumed or windows cleaned. You have to request and pay additional for that too. They also tried to get me to spend more money on replacing two air filters (at I believe it was at least $30 each) by showing me (a women) "how dirty" the engine and cabin filters were. Didn't fall for that one! I spent $171++ and my car was still dirty and I had coupons! I probably will not be going back for an oil change:) But service is good but they make you pay for it!!!Deidra

My husband bought a truck from across the road and he always gets a clean truck when he picks it up after service. Not so here. When I dropped it off they commented on the windshield how dirty it was. Nothing changed when I picked it up.

I had been a little concerned about an unusual low volume noise were beginning to be concerned about at about 40 mi. per hour. I mentioned it when scheduling installation of new tires and at the time of routine 5000 mi. maintenance. The service manager suggested bringing it back after we had experience with the new tires...and to rule out tire noise as the problem. We scheduled a time for a road test and diagnosis. The result was discovery of an apparent problem in the drive train. Yesterday, I brought the car back in for removal and replacement of a drive shaft. That went smoothly and completed within the time that I had available to wait for the repair. The pleasant part of the experience, was not only did the noise go away, but it was still under warranty and there was no charge for something that might have otherwise cost as much as $2,000. I have been especially pleased with the attitude and workmanship of everyone I have met in the service department. Always pleasant and courteous. I am very pleased to be the owner of the 2014 CRV purchased new at Mankato Luther Honda.

I recently leased a vehicle from Mankato Honda. It was by far a great experience. It was not in my plans to lease and was I a bit nervous about doing so, Michelle made the process so easy which also put me at ease! Great customer service was demonstrated by everyone involved in the leasing process. I would go back and do it again in a heartbeat! I now am driving a brand new CR-V and love it! Had regular maintenance plus remote starter put in. Mixup in schedule so remote couldn't be put in that day. Gave us a loaner for few days and then drove 2 hours to switch cars which saved a trip. Much appreciated!!

After receiving the card about a recall for Honda Accord we were able to schedule work when I had a meeting in Mankato about a week later. Shuffle service was pleasant and appreciated. Service manager dealt with another small waning light issue about tire pressure. He noted that we were close to oil change time so we added that and tire rotation. All this was completed in less than two hours and before my meeting was over and I could get back to the dealership.

I received a notice in the mail regarding my 2015 CRV. I called Luther Mankato & within days I was in the shop, upgrade was done as well as a complete vehicle check. The service manager was very good - concise, informative, respectful & made me feel like my vehicle was in good shape & to watch a couple of things. It was a very good experience for me.! This dealership has a great service department. They are forthright about costs and explain why service needs to be done. They are courteous and put up with us old folks. Big draw for me is the ability to have the courtesy vehicle pick us up and drop us off at shopping areas or, as the case last visit, provide us with a car to drive ourselves while ours is being serviced. Also love that we are not subjected to daytime television while waiting. TV is available but there are tables where TV is an option.

I went in for a regular oil change and tire rotation. Ben listened to a couple of concerns I had. He also came and asked if I would like the air bag recalled full-filled - YES! I had forgotten about that! Fixed the concern I mentioned and we figured out the other issue. We have had nothing but great service with Honda in Mankato. Very pleased.

I did my research, determined that I wanted a Civic Touring in a certain color. When I first got there I expected to have to haggle on price but didn't their first offer was below what I was expecting to try and haggle for. They didn't have the color I wanted but they were able to find it at another dealer and get it delivered to them for me. When it came time for me to pick-up my new car they came to my apartment to pick me up so I didn't need to arrange transit one way. Everyone including Michelle Zrucky the sale woman I spoke to was very friendly and answered any question I could think up even if they had to research it to find an answer. It was overall a great experience.

Came in as a followup from a July recommendation, they gave good advice that was trustworthy. Brakes needed lots of attention, plus fluids. They were great about a loaner so I could still work. Cost came in under the quote, Mike was really attentive and very friendly. I got good service at another dealership (other brand of car) but the guys at Honda have every place in town beat!

The car I wanted was not available so Cole offered to monitor incoming inventory and inform me accordingly. The service department has made me so dissatisfied that I could never buy another Honda; with fear that I would have to deal with the area's only Honda dealership. I spoke with the service manager (Ben Zellmann) about applying for a goodwill assistance (I read about it online as a service honda offers), not only did the service department say that there is no such thing, but they said that they never wanted to do business with me again. When leaving, I thanked the service manager for his time (even though I wanted to scream) and held out my hand to shake. He said that he does not want to shake my hand. He truly acted like a toddler throwing a tantrum. I do not know if he was just having a bad day, but all I wanted to do was get service done on my car and need assistance with paying. The humorous thing is, I now got an email asking to rate and post my experience at the service department! haha.

We actually went in to just test drive a car, and spent 5 hours there. Our sales associate took the time to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted, and she never pressured us to make a decision, or buy extra things. She did go over extra products, but was never pushy about them. It takes me a long time to make a decision, and she was very patient and understanding. Our trade value for or old car was very generous, which resulted in us trading in our car. I would definitely recommend them.

I went in for a second oil change for my CRV and much to my surprise, I was told a mouse had gotten under the hood and made a nest on the cabin air filter. JMurray showed me the air filter as well as the nest. The air filter was replaced being the mouse had started chewing into it. He was very good at explaining everything to me. He said to put "Bounce" sheets in different areas under the hood and in my glove compartment. Mice do not like the smell of "Bounce."The technicians are very thorough with their inspection and I can feel confident driving my car knowing everything has been checked out.

We came to Mankato Honda, never having shopped at the dealership before. My wife wanted to test drive a 2016 Honda Pilot. By coincidence, we were met by our salesman, Zach. He was very helpful and honest during both our test drive as well as during ongoing discussions within the buying process, all the way through to teaching us about the car after our purchase. The finance department was also good to work with, making the signatures easy and straight forward.

Time to take my wife's van in for an oil change and general maintenance. I was greeted by the sales manager by name. He went back through the vehicle's history and recommended various services, explaining why. The waiting room was comfortable and there was wireless so I could get some work done while I waited. Two TVs were going though, giving an interesting echo effect, but I sat at the far corner of the waiting area to get away from the TV noise.The service was done early and they had me on my way. They made me feel like I was the most important customer that day.

I went in for an oil change on my 2014 CRV. I made an appointment online the day before. I showed up and they could not find me in their system. Well turns out I made the appointment at a different location! They were kind enough to get me in with no problems and we all had a good laugh about it. I asked if I could speak to someone about my lease being up soon and they showed me over to the showroom area and introduced me to Chris C the finance man so I could go over some options. I originally was going to just buy my vehicle after my lease was up because I thought that was my only option. Chris went and got some info and came back with a couple options for me. I was so thankful that Chris didn't just say here is how you buy what you have and that's all you get. He then took me out to look at the 2016 CRV's and asked me what I wanted that my current vehicle didn't have. I really wished that my car had a sunroof and heated seats for the winter. Chris then suggested I take one for a test drive, I thought why not, I'm waiting for my oil change anyways. Erich Lotz took me for a test drive. I was glad I went with him. He was relaxed, had good conversation and it wasn't the typical forced sales-y talking points during the drive. I was able to just drive, feel comfortable and fall in love with the car. We got back and told Chris the good news and got started on paperwork. I've seen people complain about the wait they experience when they have to purchase/lease a vehicle. Yes I had to wait, but I know it's because they were giving the same service I experienced; thorough, thoughtful, comprehensive, and most of all they really want to make sure you feel good about the purchase. After Erich and I filled out our paperwork I waited to see Chris C. When I got in with Chris I feel like we had a blast. We went over all the options, he made sure I understood everything, that I got the services/amenities I wanted and was comfortable with the price. I am SO glad I went in that day to get an oil change. From the start I was greeted by incredibly friendly service staff (I think Mike is the one that helped me), and we joked later about not needed that oil change after all. And left feeling like I really made a great choice. I leased my 2014 CRV at Luther Hopkins Honda and will only be returning to and recommending the Luther Mankato Honda location.

It was Friday of the long Memorial Day Holiday... On my way home, in heavy traffic on a State HWY. I hit a piece of debris in the middle of the road and racked my car up pretty bad... I was thinking... GREAT, now all my plans will be a bust...That, however, was not the case. I had my car towed to Mankato Luther Honda and Ben and his staff were awesome at putting me at ease that everything would move forward as planned. They were Right! They took care of everything and I had a GREAT weekend. I have worked with numerous other car dealerships in the Mankato area and Mankato Luther and its staff NEVER disappoint. I bought my last Honda Pilot over the phone with a Honda dealer that took me serious. I had very little contact with my salesperson buying my first Honda Pilot and will go back to this man every time! The problem is Luther is the owner of both Honda dealerships, so not sure about going back.My experience with Luther-Mankato Honda was horrible! I think everybody should be treated as a serious buyer EVERYTIME!! They seem to think the Honda Pilot-Elite they had was gold( only one in the state)! I understand they are hard to find what you want sometimes but a vehicle is only good when is sells.I saw that Luther-Mankato Honda had the one Pilot (Elite-most expensive one) that fit our needs and my wife tried reaching them via internet and was not treated very friendly (we can't quote over the internet). They wanted pictures of our 2012 Pilot before they could give us an trade-in info and that's fair enough in our book. My wife took several pictures and emailed them to the internet sales people. We waited a day and didn't hear back until I emailed to see what the hold up was!?!?! I then get an email saying call me!I called the next day and talked with the internet sales rep and he said the trade-in was HALF of what everybody would give as a trade-in!! I said really...WOW?!?!?! I could sell it or trade-in for double what he was offering. I politely said thank you and thanks for wasting both of our time. I'm not blowing smoke as I do my homework and know what used Honda's sell for.I get better offers with the Honda mailers explaining how much equity I have in my 2012 Pilot and that now is the time to trade-in! Anyway, bottom line is I like to be treated as a serious buyer EVERYTIME! I will call my local Honda dealership and order a brand new one I guess.Very Dissatisfied (Current Honda Owner)

Took my Pilot in to have a warning light checked. It was reset and I went in my way, only for the light to come on a few hours later. The dealer opened up an immediate spot for a recheck, set me up with a loaner, diagnosed the complete issue and credited the labor for the first visit against the second, charging me only for the part. That was impressive and very fair. Well done.

We were quite satisfied with the overall process of getting the air bags recalled on our 2011 CRV. We were offered a rental at no charge to use for a month or so until the parts arrived. Then they picked up our vehicle and towed it to the dealership so there was no possible chance for us to get in a crash and detonate the air bags. Hats off to Ben, Jens, and the crew for making the best of the situation.

I went in simply looking to test drive a vehicle ( that was actually out of my price range) with absolutely no intent to purchase. Instead I walked out with a vehicle that I never thought I'd be able to afford, and love! Cole was great to work with. He was knowledgable in the vehicle, and did his best to get me the best deal on financing. Never felt pressured to buy, and he was quick with the paper work as I was in a time crunch. I brought my car in for regular maintenance, and I had my three children (ages 6, 4, and 7 months) along. The children's play area was very clean and the toys kept their attention for our entire wait. They loved the free popcorn, too. The restrooms were very clean and our morning (that could have been very wild with the kids) went extremely smooth. I drive an hour to have my car serviced here, and I don't mind a bit. Each person I spoke with was kind and treated all of us with respect. I will be back in the future!

Mike listened to my concerns about an issue I was having. Along with the excellent service of my oil change, tire rotation, and overall check, Mike gave me a clear estimate of time. The courtesy car took me to a nail salon while my car was being serviced and I enjoyed a pedicure. Everyone is very friendly and very willing to listen and help in anyway possible. A thorough explanation of the service completed, areas of concern, and future needs was provided. The Service Department provides excellent service.

I think most of us can agree. The process of buying a vehicle is usually not enjoyable because of all of the hassle along with sales personnel pressure. In fact, I would normally choose to go to the dentist for a root canal than find/buy a car (sorry dental field). I can assure you that my family's experience at Luther Mankato Honda was None of this. Aaron was the salesman and the communication was over satisfactory while NEVER pressing the issue to go new or make purchase out of our needs. Then when it came to the paperwork portion. Again, very informative and no pressure. I have purchased many vehicles in the past and I no longer have to shop around. Great job guys and girls at this dealership!! We love our 2014 Honda Odyssey!

The service department did a great job of installing a tow package on my '12 Odyssey. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was prompt and accommodating. They completed the job on schedule. They also helped fix the sliding center console and a loose hubcap while my van was in for service. We have purchased two new Accords from Luther, in 1999 and 2014. We still have the 1999 with over 250 K miles and no serious problems. I have all the routine service on the 2014 done there. I've never had any problems with scheduling, prompt turnaround, shuttle ride, or charges. They do a very good job.

Took my 2014 Odyssey van in for service on Saturday morning. I usually take it locally--here in the Jackson area. Must say I was impressed with the service department. I used a coupon they sent me so cost was right, they did some warranty work, rotated tires, and changed oil. I used the shuttle service so I could spend the time at the Mall--that was quick and convenient! I believe I worked with Jens? and he was exceptional! I have nothing but good things to say about this Honda Dealership. I will be back. Also, I did purchase my van there and love it.

We had some MAJOR work that needed to be done on our 2004 Honda Civic EX. It was time. We needed new head gasket, honed heads, and new piston rings. The work was performed by Mike there. and he did an EXCELLENT Job. Granted it did take a while, and as a dealership, it wasn't cheap. Never thought that I would lease, be interested in anything larger than a mid-size car, or consider a Honda. But, not only did I do all three, but I am so happy and excited about all three that I shall never go back to my old way of thinking. I leased a 2016 Honda CRV in mid-December 2015. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but certainly most of them. Heated seats - used to be a luxury only found in friends' cars. The glaze on the windshield has made nighttime driving possible again. I don't have to crawl out of my car anymore because the seats are adult height. I was particularly pleased with Aaron C. at Luther Mankato Honda. He took me through the whole process from checking out the inventory to explaining the financial paperwork so that there were no surprises and no delays. Wonderful experience! I live in Burnsville but Aaron was recommended to me and I am so thankful that I took that advice. I will definitely be one of his and Honda's repeat customers.

My daughter is at College in Mankato Minnesota. In 2014 we had her 2006 Civic in for a check engine light. They replaced the oxygen sensor and the car worked fine until this week when the check engine light returned. They checked it out and found the oxygen sensor failed again. Usually wouldn't be under warranty after that period of time, but they discovered that a service bulletin was out at that time to update the computer to alleviate premature oxygen sensor failure from moisture buildup. They installed anew one and upgrade the computer free of charge. I know my dealership in South Dakota wouldn't have done that. Thanks

I bought my 2009 Accord from them, and it has been a VERY reliable car - only regular maintenance, As I bought the car from them, every 5th change is free, and all scheduled tore rotations. We were shopping for a new Odyssey. We test drove one and decided that was the vehicle we were going to buy. Looked at all the different trim levels and decided on a EX-L. Went home to discuss it over the week end. Decided to see what was available in an EX-L Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle. Luther Mankato Honda had one with all the accessories we wanted. I called Larry M. and set up an appointment to see and drive the vehicle. It was a cold and snowing so I requested the vehicle be brought inside. When we arrived it was inside. We were able to check the vehicle out in a nice warm shop. After driving the vehicle my wife and I decided we would purchase the Certified Pre-Owned Odyssey EX-L. That process went very smoothly. We would recommend Luther Mankato Honda to anyone interested in buying a car.

Luther Honda's service Manager, Ben, went above and beyond what I would have expected in taking care of a recent problem with our CRV. In addition to installing a new part, the service department noticed the car was soon due for a oil change and tire rotation. This was done at no charge. During the oil chane routine, the technician noted that the battery was not up to spec so Ben installed a new battery and sent us on our way with an elite car wash card. Having a dealer who has your back is a great feeling.

We bought our Honda Accord from Hopkins Honda in the twin cities and within a year the battery went dead. We didn't want to go all the way to the cities and thought of taking a chance with Luther Mankato. Boy were we glad we did that. I was pleasantly surprised of how well they received me and my wife. Ben the service manager let us know about what would be done and asked us if we needed a shuttle. We needed one as we had some shopping to do at Sams. By the time we got back, Ben let us know that the battery died and they replaced with a brand new battery. We were happy to get things done and head back home. Only then did we hear the rumbling sound on the car and we called back to inform Ben that we had this issue with the sound. He asked us to bring it back in the next day or 2. We went back in and they did a thorough diagnosis to finally see that the problem was because the screws on the remote starter that was installed on our car was not fixed properly. So much for installing the remote starter at Hopkins Honda. Well Anyways Jens told me that Mike would be looking into it and would fix it properly and they fixed the issue and checked it back again to be sure if there was anything wrong. I was given updates every hr and they let me know what was going on. In the end they waived off the fee for fixing the issue although it wasn't a mistake done by them. I could say in this day of age where dealerships like to rip customers off their hard earned money, Luther Honda Mankato is a rarity. I don't know how the dealership is but the service department is just amazing. My wife and I have decided to do our servicing from this point on at Luther Honda Mankato. Once again, I would like to thank Ben, Jens and my service technician Mike for doing an awesome job.

Mike greeted me outside as I was walking to the door. He was very friendly and easy to work with, informative but no hard sale! Had there been a hard sale, I would have left without purchasing a vehicle. However, the finance person was a bit more pushy to the point I was becoming frustrated with the closing process. I had already indicated that I wasn't interested in an extended warranty or any add-ons. In fact, I had already said no before he started his pitch, telling him Mike had already done a good job of explaining the options available. He proceeded with his pitch and then asked me why I didn't want the extended warranty or any other options. I guess he thought I needed a picture because he drew another one over the included warranty because perhaps as a female I can only understand pictures and not numbers. I'm sure this is not uncommon in the industry, but it needs to change. I was there for 1 1/2 hours just to pick up my car and sign papers and write a check, way too long!

I was in Mankato on other business and remembered a small "clunk" noise in the rear of my 2016 Pilot I had heard earlier. I dropped in and asked if they could check this out and save me a return trip. They were most cordial and found a technician who drove my vehicle, checked several possibilities, fixed the noise and explained to me what he had checked and what he had found. My guess is that if they can do this for a "drop in" customer they will be found satisfactory with all other service appointments.

I have been to this company twice for service and a few times for parts. Each time I was treated respectfully and listened to as for my specific needs. The service advisor Jens was terrific in explaining the options for service and did all he could to help me. Shane and Mike (technicians) went out of their way to service my vehicle and discuss the service issues. The parts desk did extra duty to find an acceptable solution to my parts needs. Too often shops don't allow mechanics to talk to knowledgeable customers who can understand what mechanics are finding.. We found a used car we were interested in online. I emailed the dealership and they set up an appointment to test drive it. When we arrived they were ready with the car warmed up, we test drove it, liked it and was out of there in a short time. We never felt that "salesman" vibe. Erik was helpful and informative. We had a follow up appointment to check on the battery on 1/16/16 and it was quickly replaced for free and we were on our way again.

Came in for a regular oil change and during the vehicle inspection they found the rear differential axle seal was leaking fluid. The parts were ordered and the work was completed the next day. Jonathan Kells was very friendly and helpful during this experience.

I have purchased 5 new vehicles from this Mankato Luther Honda. Nothing but great cars and tremendous service. My sales men have been Alex Brandt and Ben Zhurky. Alex has sold us our last 4 Hondas. He always helps us when we have tech questions! They know their vehicles and are a pleasure to work with. I went in for a recall this time. Mike, Jens and Ben Zellman (from the Service Department) went far above the norm with helping me on this recall on our 2016 Honda Pilot. Test drove one SUV and was getting a price for my trade-in when the test drive SUV was sold. They went out of their way and gave me an option to buy trade-in that just came in. I bought the new trade-in and got a very good price for both my SUV and the new one. Donny was the salesman and he was very good. The whole process took too long in my opinion (about 4 hrs). They really give you the hard sell on the add-ons like paint sealant, rust proofing which I thought was way over priced. I did buy the extended warranty but only after the price was lowered by $1000.00. This is the second SUV I have bought from them and will probably buy again.

And, although borrowing money to finance a new car can be unsettling, Chris, the master of finance, made it seem like a walk in the park on a bright sunny day. I know that the only place to service my Honda is at Luther Mankato Honda. The service team goes the extra mile to be sure you are happy. Their work is always good, they do what they say, and if there is a problem they tell you about it. Honesty marks them! I had a noise earlier and they kindly looked into and fixed at no cost to me. I have to drive 75 miles to get to Luther Mankato Honda but it is worth it.

We had an experience with our Luther Honda in Mankato that was exceptional. We had 4 high quality tires purchased through the service department and over the past 18 months the tires had shown premature wear. The service dept. initially offered us the warranty price from the maker of the tires to replace them. But then went further and recommended what they felt was a better wearing tire for our Pilot and gave us a very generous offer to replace all 4 new tires at a much better value to us. It was obvious - as they have shown time and time again, that their priority is serving their customer and putting their needs first. Very impressed again!

One of the tires on my Honda vehicle has been losing air slowly, setting off the air pressure light on the dashboard. While driving by the dealership, and with no previous appointment, I decided to stop in at the service department at 4:45 p.m., and instead of brushing me off, they took my tire off and checked for a leak and charged me nothing for considerable time and effort. They couldn't find evidence of a leak, so the tire is still being monitored. I was impressed both by their consideration and their professional approach to my problem. I have never had anything but top-notch service from Honda.

80,000 miles ago, my Honda Accord (bought elsewhere) simply died. The service dept. stayed open late to allow me to have the car towed in. It is these not-so-little extras that have brought me back ever since. I trust the Luther Honda service team. They listen to my concerns, communicate with me throughout the repair, and make needed repairs that are consistently thorough and reliable. Winter driving can be dangerous, but I don't worry because of team's reliability and care.

Purchased our Honda CR-V in May. Noticed a chattering noise coming from behind the driver which was very noticable. Spent five of my summer Saturdays at the Honda repair center. Since I was from out of town it took away my entire morning. On my first visit I was shown a video of a common vibration that the Honda CR-V has that comes from the engine. They changed out the differential which did not elimante the chattering. On my 2nd visit they said it was the vibration like I saw on the video that was making the chattering and I would have to wait for a recall from Honda. I waited a month and the chattering was driving me crazy I purchased a brand new car and I did not feel I needed to put up with that noise. I went back for the 3rd time for an oil change and to ask them to check into the noise again. They heard the noise but they did not have enough staff on to look into it. The 4th appointment they diagnosed the problem ( Back seat brackets that lock the seat in were defective) and had to order the parts. The 5th appt. they installed new brackets. The noise has finally stopped. Luther Mankato Honda has a very nice custumer waiting room. I wish I had only visited once! I purchased a new car but it feels like I purchased a used car.

Was told I needed new rear brake pads and rotors turned and the price and time to complete the job. Mike was the serviceman that greeted us and helped us. My car was in for the airbag recall. What was nice and helpful is that Mike pointed out the tread on my tires etc.and spit out a list of things to do and at what mileage to do them.They did as much as possible for that day.All i need is my radiator flushed and coolant changed. I will make an appt. to have that done soon. I booked an oil change appointment for 10:15 but actually showed up a few minutes early. I had a noon appointment elsewhere, so I thought I'd be out in plenty of time. I was wrong. At about 11:40, I told them I had to leave. My car was ready, thank goodness, so I was able to get to my noon meeting right on time. But it left me no time for lunch or coffee before the meeting. I don't think a simple oil change should take more than an hour and a half. I've had this problem there before, and I don't think I'm going to take that chance again.

I can honestly say I will never go anywhere else to buy a car as long as I live in Southern Minnesota. The entire experience was pleasant and comfortable and extremely impressive. I never once felt under pressure and I left feeling like I didn't get screwed in any way, shape, or form. Everything was explained in detail and my options were all laid out in front of me. Luther Mankato Honda has been a great place to buy vehicles and continually serve these vehicles. I have purchased a Honda CR-V and most recently a 2015 Fit here. My Fit went in for a routine service check. There were minor issues all covered by the warranty. Once issue was not, a minor wiper part problem on the back window; however, Ben at Luther fixed it without charge due to the "newness" just over 6 months of the vehicle. I was satisfied with the service on this occasion and on others. I believe it is important to have inspections done on Honda vehicles at the dealership. It is true that they are not the most affordable for basic maintenance in town but I trust in the value their "knowledge" of my car brings to the table.

I brought my new CR-V in for repair of a minor leak in the sunroof. They got me in within an hour of call and we're done making the necessary adjustments within 2 hoursthe time they suggested it would take. The shuttle driver took me home and picked me up without any waiting. Maybe the best sign of their concern for customer satisfaction is the fact that they washed the car for me too.

Brought my car in to get a thing in the tire fixed and the man that helped me told me right away how much it would cost and how much time I would be waiting if it was what they thought was wrong. They over estimated the time i would wait which is always better than being told it will be less time and it taking longer. Was told it would be 30 minutes to see what was wrong and another 2 hours if it was what they thought and it was out of there in under 2 hours. The facility had a tv, plenty of magazines, popcorn, and free water, along with a vending machine for other drinks and food. They come and give you up dates when they know something. All around great service and glad i decided to go there to get anything fixed on my car.

I had some work done at the service dept. in May. I had a free oil change,and some warranty work to be done. A part had to be ordered for my bluetooth. The part wasn't in so they ordered it and got it in the next day so i ran up for them to put it in. By accident they ordered the wrong part so they offered to come get my car and put the part in and then return my car back. That was very nice to offer to do that, but i took it up when the part came in. I had other shopping to do while in Mankato so just made it easier for me to bring it up but i was very impressed that they would have offered to come to pick it up. I don't know any other dealer that would offer to do that when you are about 60 miles away one way. They always are friendly and have a nice lounge for me to wait at or will drive me somewhere if i'd like while they work on the car. I have always always had great service from them and never have i ever had a bad experience with the service dept. They always explain things to me so i understand and i appreciate that since my husband always took care of vehicles and he passed away 4 years ago so i have to rely on what they tell me and they have been great to me. Ben was my advisor and he was great. Thanks Luther Mankato Honda for all the work you do for me!!!!

I brought my 2012 Ridgeline in on May 5th. for oil change, tire rotation, the service man( I can't remember his name), went over my vehicles history & told me it was time for the brake fluid to be drained & replaced, which I wouldn't have known. He also went over what maintenance will need to be done in the near future, which helps me budget for that. Very nice & knowledgeable, very good service, thank you.

We had to order the unit due to the color we wanted, and waited 5 months for it to arrive, which is not the dealers problem. The car is everything we had hoped for having run it 3 days. The only surprise we had was having to sell the dealership our 2007 Pilot to the dealer rather than being able to simply trade it in, thus paying full tax on the new car price. A bit of a surprise, being told it is a new state law.

I had been looking at CR-V's for quite a while, loved the way they look, everything about them But I didn't want that high of a car payment so it turned into just a dream. Then I saw a sign and drive deal with low monthly payments advertised in Burnsville. Not wanting to drive all the way there I filled out something online about leases in my area and it sent an email to Luther Honda. Joe called me and got my voice mail. He also sent my an email. Me being someone with anxiety over purchasing vehicles because of experiences with dealers who are rude and pushy or rushing you out do they can get the next sale, and in some cases sending us home with not so reliable cars, I opted to email him back. We emailed back and forth several times on a Saturday, him answering all of my questions. After several emails I got the courage to call him. He sounded different than what I was expecting, the opposite of pushy. I asked to set up an appointment because they were closing soon, he asked if I would like to come in now. I was hesitant because they were closing soon but we did. All of the staff were so nice. I have never been so comfortable when buying a car. Joe and Chris stayed well past closing time to get us approved, get the paperwork done, and make sure we knew how to use all of the features in our car, and most importantly get us out of the parking lot with our brand new car. Even if you don't want a honda they will get you what you want. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming.

Since Mankato has no Acura dealer, and the nearest Acura dealer is 70 miles away, I have been taking my car to Luther Mankato Honda for scheduled maintenance since I bought it. This works because Acuras are made by the Honda Corporation. The most recent service was performed yesterday and my experience at Luther Mankato Honda was excellent, as always. The service dept. staff is always friendly and they clearly explain everything regarding the work to be done. The price for services is always reasonable. I commented on the fact that the floor in the service area is always very clean and learned that this is because the concrete floor has a painted surface, rather than being ordinary porous cement, and that the floor is cleaned every night. Finally, the service dept. will give customers rides to and from a location in town so that customers can be at home or run an errand while the service on their vehicles is being performed. I believe the only type of service that I will need to go to an Acura dealer for is service covered by the warranty, or needed because of a recall. I would recommend Luther Mankato Honda to any owner of a Honda or Acura.

I had been looking to trade my vehicle for a more mileage-friendly one. I stopped in at the Mankato Honda dealership "just looking" to see what was out there. I was surprised, but very happy, to be in a dealership that actually lets you look! There was no pressure and a sales gentleman (Zach) spent as much time with me as I needed, explaining different vehicles and their qualities. I left that day with a vehicle in mind, but with NO pressure to buy! What a great experience! Most places won't let you out of their show room until you buy. I did go back and trade in my vehicle and that experience was made easy and pleasant, as well. There is no haggling over price or trade-in value. When you break down late Friday evening on your way into the weekend then it is very likely that your weekend turns out disastrous. But not so with Mankato Honda. They communicated their progress well allowing me to adjust my work schedule according for the next week. They stuck to the plan they presented and got me back on the road fast. On a Friday evening my car broke down in St Peter near Mankato. I had to make a decision to either get my car back to my dealership in the Cities or give Mankato Honda a try. I decided to give the Mankato crew a try. And I was not disappointed. They got the car fixed as promised and they kept to me informed throughout the whole process. What could have been a very nerve wrecking adventure turned out to be a positive experience.

Brought my Accord in to check the seat warmer ( I thought it might be heating too hot) The service department took it apart and checked everything and didn't charge me anything. I left knowing the thermostat was working perfect and realized Honda just makes the seat warmers so nice and warm. Thanks to everyone at the Mankato Honda for your wonderful service.

I called Luther Mankato Honda on Saturday and was able to have my CRV serviced Monday morning! The employees in the service department always treat my concerns with great respect, no matter how small. As usual, I was greeted with smiles and recognition. When you are a member of the Luther Mankato Honda family by purchasing or leasing an automobile, you are always welcomed. The facility is top-notch. My favorite is that everything is thoroughly explained when servicing is complete. This trip cost me nothing, but I received a new battery. Again, terrific service from a great dealership.

These guys always go out of their way to make my service visit pleasant. Usually I work with Mike, and he is always pleasant and good at explaining technical stuff in layman's terms. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. I always feel like I am treated fairly by trustworthy employees. I never feel like work on my car is being recommended that doesn't need to be done. During my last visit, the service person went out of his way to arrange a ride for me that I considered above and beyond. It was a kindness I will not soon forget.

I visited this dealership a little over a month before I was ready to purchase my vehicle. A salesman, Alex, came out, introduced himself, and when I said was only looking at the moment, didn't push me into test driving or making any commitment to a vehicle, he merely handed me his card and said to contact him when I was ready. When I was finally ready, I contacted him through email and he provided me with all the information I asked about right away, even price, where other dealerships beat around the bush before finally telling me the price. I had my choice narrowed down to two vehicles, and I never felt pushed to get the Civic, Alex just pointed out features of the Civic in order to help me make an informed decision. The other dealership relied on talking down the competition, saying they could provide services that Honda couldn't, and making claims that I felt to be untrue, I got none of that here. Upon doing my own research, I saw that this was not true. When it came down to it, I decided that I would choose the vehicle that was sold to me, and that was the Civic. This was also the vehicle I knew that I wanted once I got into it and took it on a test drive. We filled out all necessary paper work after the test drive for financing, though at this point I still was unsure. It took an hour, perhaps less, before I got the call informing me that my application had been approved. When I finally made my decision paper work was prepared so that when I arrived we went over everything and signed papers, which went smoothly. Afterwords, Alex went over features of the car with me, and let me know that the service department would be in touch with me to set up and appointment to install the features I added to my car, and then I was off, and I am still extremely happy with my decision.

I went in this past weekend to look at a used (not Honda) car that ended up being sold before I got there. Michelle Zrucky, the saleswoman, showed me a new Honda Fit and I was in love. She was thorough and kind, not pushy at all and I didn't ever feel pressured into my purchase. Being a 20-something year old woman, dealerships can be very intimidating but this was not the case for me at Luther Mankato. Had a very pleasant experience, and walked out that evening with a brand new 2015 Honda Fit!

Went in yesterday and had an oil change and tires rotated. They did a maintenance checkup and I needed a filter replaced. While there I was telling them my Bluetooth wasn't working for the Pandora and they worked on it until it was fixed. The problem actually was with my phone and he found it and fixed it. They talk to me when something needs to be changed or fixed before going ahead and working on it which I really appreciate. Some places I've been just go ahead and do the work well $xxxx later i'm upset with a big bill over my head. They are always friendly and pleasant. On the way home my tire pressure light came on and when I called he walked me thru the process and I got it fixed and the light fixed. Luther Mankato Honda is awesome!!

I've purchased five Honda vehicles over the years, all from Mankato Honda. The vehicles have been very reliable with very few mechanical issues beyond normal maintenance. I really appreciate the service people as they point out what absolutely needs to be done and what would be good to do but can wait. The original purchases were always at reasonable prices. The maintenance and repair might be a little more expensive than could be obtained elsewhere but the reliable quality is worth every penny.

I had my 2014 Honda Odyessey van in for service yesterday (12/4/2014). It was a good experience and so far I am very glad I bought my vehicle there. I am from out of town, so I called for an appointment and received a confirmation email immediately. When I got there service was prompt with no waiting. Facilities are nice. We needed an oil change and other overdue maintenance on a very busy Black Friday. They accomodated us and explained the length of time it would take. The friendly shuttle driver drove us home and was willing to return to pick us up when our vehicle was complete. We had made other plans so this was not necessary. We were contacted by phone halfway though with an update and then a call when the car was ready. They went over our charges in detail explaining everything. Friendly courteous staff.

We've been looking for a Honda Odyssey van for some time. The sales person we worked with was Kade and he did an outstanding job. He found exactly what we wanted, was very responsive in follow up and spent time with us after the sale going over the vehicle operation. We had a trade in so Kade had Ben work with us on that and my wife and I felt they were very fair and up front on everything. Then comes the "closing and finance" part that can be dreadful but Chris was very helpful in going through all the options and details with us. This was probably one of the most satisfying car purchases we have made. In fact, as we were leaving the dealership my wife and I did a "high five" because we felt so good about the purchase and the experience we had at the dealership. Had to bring my 2010 Odyssey in for the Fuel Pump recall. I totally forgot to empty the back of my van as asked when I made the appointment. It was no problem - the service people emptied the back, did the recall work and put everything back in. Didn't say a word about my forgetting to do this for them. I didn't even think of it until I noticed some of my things were not in there usual places. GREAT SERVICE - will definitely think of them in the future.

Sometimes women and service garages are a bad mix. In my life I've felt taken advantage of numerous times from people who don't think women can know much substance about cars. I originally came in with a problem thinking my phone wasn't charging right in the CRV, and to get an oil change. I was treated respectfully, shown how to re-pair my new phone and reminded to delight in the beautiful sunset as I drove out of the garage. Jens went beyond what would be required and made recommendations I followed without feeling pressured to buy something I didn't need. This is my first NEW Honda and it was the best decision I've made. The car's presumed quality overall takes a back seat if service is poor, but these guys DELIVER! I think they take service seriously, and I love 'em for it!

I brought my car in for a recall notice and the work they performed was done well. Its a nice clean place, well organized, and they did what they said they would do. My concern is the sales process.I barely was in the door and they started recommending additional service. It seemed pretty clear that they saw this as an opportunity to sell. It felt aggressive and I question their motives. They may have my interest in mind but it seemed like were more interested in generating revenue. And it wasn't just once, they approached me three times attempting to sell the same services. Their charges are also a concern. One item was the cabin air filter. Undoubtedly it needs changing. I checked on my own and a new filter is about $15 and easy to change. Their charge was $80. I also called about putting an additional radiator cooler on my Odyssey for towing. Their charge $1300, my cost from a local repair person, about $100. I believe they have the necessary skill and ability to fix my car but I will only return if necessary and then I'll put on my armor to deflect the sales pitch.

I purchased my 2014 Honda CRV on Oct. 17, 2013 and I have owned it a year now. I was in there yesterday for some minor warranty work and I had excellent customer service!!! I have had all of my oil changes done there and have always had Excellent friendly people to work with. They have an awesome waiting area to sit and relax with a tv, popcorn, water, coffee, and tea anything anyone would want. A very nice lounging area. Worked well for me yesterday, since I was working on some homework and it was very quiet I could get most of it done. An excellent place all around!!!! Everyone is very friendly!!! They also have a driver and car available to drive you around if you would rather not wait in their lounge. Not everyone will offer that!!!! I have always been very pleased with their service and work.

This was my favorite experience with a car dealer in over 10 years. Luther's Mankato Honda was great to work with. Our sales representative was professional, courteous, responsive, and accessible. Because we live far from this dealership, we accomplished a lot remotely before driving and buying our used vehicle. Before we drove the vehicle that we bought, we were given a preliminary trade-in value, we were approved for a loan, and we received a purchase agreement. It was such a relief to be treated with such respect and to have all of these critical things done before arriving at the lot. We had a great experience!

For the passed 15 years I had only bought used cars, including a 2004 Honda CRV purchased in 2011. I loved this vehicle, which is part of the reason I decided on buying a 2014 CRV from Luther Mankato Honda. The sales process went very well. The salesmen, Tim and Alex, were great, as was Chris who handled the paperwork. There was no trade-in or financing involved, which made things less complicated, but I'm confident I would have received the same straight-forward approach had there been. Having bought cars over the years since 1960, I much prefer not having to deal with the "negotiating tactics" of the past. Obviously, the car value info now easily obtained from the Internet makes it easier for both parties - buyer and seller.

From setting the Appointment to leaving the shop....I was very pleased....A great place too wait in comfort....Never felt like I was waiting 3 1/2 hours at all..They kept me informed...And when they found something else that needed attention...They asked me, if I would like it done..... Which in turn...Made the bill higher....But scince the shortest Honda dealer is 2 hours away from were we live...And I was at the 75,000 mark...I needed alot done..AND THEY got it ALL DONE....And can look to Winter with "NO FEAR"......Thanks Luther HONDA...I will be back...If not for a FIX....Too buy my NEXT HONDA :)

I recently purchased a new vehicle from Luther Mankato Honda. My experience started out on cars.com by sending an email over to the dealership and I immediately got a response from Jason. This was the vehicle I had been searching for, for a very long time but I lived 3 hours away and wanted to make sure it was everything I wanted. The sales man, Jason took videos/pictures of the car inside and out and sent them to me. He researched exactly what the color of the interior was because I've been burned before on the interior color once I've arrived to the dealership to purchase. We had a good experience buying our CRV here. The salesman ( Erick) we had did a great job of telling us all about the Crv. He was very thorogh when going thru the car. I recently had our Honda Odyssey in to Mankato Honda for a repair. Mike Shank informed us that there was a recall on our Odyssey and that they would do it at the same time as the repair. Everything was handled with professionalism and the cost of the repair was not out of line. Do to the time it to took to complete the repair and recall it couldn't be completed the same day. They provided me with a ride to and from my home (20 miles round-trip) at no extra charge. The waiting area is exceptional.

I have bought the LAST car from this dealership. First experience in 2010 was not great, as they sold a car we were purchasing out from under us as we were doing paperwork in the office. Next they sold my parents a car with bad cupped tires. Their sales mgr. said they should not sold have never sold this car in the first place in that condition when my 80 year old parents wanted to trade it in. Final straw was I bought a car and was promised certain things and it never happened. The sales group is a "little boys club" that sit in that room in chatter. All jaw work and no follow through. I am not the only person that feels this way as I know about 6 other people at my work who bought a car and will never buy from them again. Be smart. Stay away. They will tell you ANYTHING to sell a car. LUTHER should be ashamed of this dealership compared to others they run.

The service department does a fine job, but lately it has been taking an hour for a routine oil change. Plan on spending some time there and bring work or a book with you if you choose to wait. I realize it's their job to upsell, but I always feel pressured to get additional service work done right at that time.

I am a single, 65 year old female from Jackson, MN and bought an Odyssey from Mankato Honda on July21, 2014. It had just over 600 miles, so was a used vehicle. I worked with Otto Haben, salesman. He was professional, enthusiastic (loved working with cars), had a nice personality, was prompt with informaton and returned phone calls. He was NOT pushy and was truthful and concerned that I got the information and vehicle I wanted. The interior and exterior department did a great job cleaning up the vehicle. Consumer be wise: they have a good extended warranty company--well rated. However, do your shopping and look for a price where both sides are happy. Honda needs to make a profit, but not an exuberant profit. I worked with Sioux Falls Vern Eide, Burnsville, Brookdale, and Richfield Honda before buying. I was impressed with Honda dealerships in general and Mankato in particular.

Just had my 2008 Honda Accord in for preventative maintenance (120,000 miles and going strong) and as usual Luther Mankato Honda service department was so pleasant to deal with. From beginning to end my experience was excellent. I was shuttled to the local mall while my car was being worked on and informed every step of the way by the service department before anything additional was done. I never feel pressured into anything by the service department and they explain everything very well. Furthermore, I feel that I can trust them 100%. I intend to buy my next vehicle from Luther Mankato Honda just because of the service department's strong reputation!

The mechanic working on my car decided to work late to finish the job and they kept me informed all the way into the evening. We were pleased with the price and quality of the automobile we purchased. The problems started after we agreed to purchase it. After that, we were subjected to interminable delays and waiting. On one occasion I waited four hours (!) to be seen by the finance manager. On other occasions, we were dragged around the dealership to be shown one feature after another, or to be impressed by the service facilities. But we spent a total of at least six hours (!) on two different days just sitting in their "lounge" waiting for someone to come back to us--all after we had agreed to purchase the car! These delaying tactics are famously used before purchase to wear down the buyer, but after the sale??I am actively discouraging my acquaintances from going to this dealership.

We were pleased with the selection and the with the price and quality of the vehicle we purchased. After we agreed to purchase the vehicle, however, we were subjected to interminable waits for one thing or another, or dragged through the facility to be shown one feature or another. I came into Luther to look at trading in my 2012 Honda Odyssey. I called Luther and spoke with Ben Zrucky initially. Through the process, I also met with Jason and Alex and their customer service was beyond reproach! They worked with me to find a vehicle that met my needs, both financially and for my family of 6! When the time came to trade in our vehicle we had stopped at several used car dealers and a few new vehicle dealers. My wife and I could not find a comfort level with any that we stopped at. The sales people felt superficial. Then we spotted a used Honda Fit at Luther Honda of Mankato and decided to check it out. When we walked up to the door I noticed they had closed about 10 minutes earlier but our sales person, Darin Hendley, greeted us and asked if he could assist us. We spent the next two hours discussing the Honda Fit, our trade in, financing and incentives available on a new Honda Fit versus the used one we saw on the lot. Darin was professional, but most sincere and considerate of our concerns, questions and did not attempt to pressure us into anything we were not comfortable with. The Finance Manager, Ben Zellmann, also provided the best experience we have encountered financing a vehicle purchase. Ben took the time to listen to our concerns about financing and the limitations we wished to stay with. This was on a Saturday and the financing could not be completed until Monday. Monday morning Ben called and asked a few clarification questions he felt might be asked and about three hours later he called back and let us know we were the new owners of a 2013 Honda Fit if we still chose to. It was so nice to feel a comfort level between my wife and I together towards Luther Honda of Mankato. We believe we have found a life long partnership through their service and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Had appointment for oil change. Filters were changed and tires rotated also. Was charged for tire rotation which was supposed to be free with tire purchase. When we called them they told us we could get credit on the next service. It should be in our record that we purchased the tires there and the rotation would not be charged.

I bought my Crosstour about a year ago with 31000 miles on it. I took it in for an oil change on Saturday, April 5th and to have it checked out as it was recently stolen. Just wanted to make sure everything was OK. They told me there were a couple of maintenance items that Honda recommended that were to be done. I asked why they weren't done before I bought the car and the service guy said that is a good question. He said he would go to the used car sales manager and see what they would do. He called me back 5 minutes later and said they would cover the repairs. That is great service. I have a Lexus, a Infiniti and a BMW and am used to good service because they are premiere brands. I am so happy with Luther Honda over this. I have owned 3 different Hondas over the years and they are such great cars and love my Crosstour. That car plows through the snow as good as my big SUV. Kuddos! I only wish I remembered the name of the service guy. I hope Luther looks it up and rewards him.

I called Saturday morning inquiring about a car I saw online. I already knew I wanted the car which made things easy. They were quick to respond which is a plus. Didn't leave me wondering for a moment what they were doing on their end. It was a 2 hr drive to Mankato so everything was done over the phone. They also told me if for whatever reason the car was not what I thought it was I could back out. Jason (sales) and Ben (finance) are great to work with. I sat there for five hours able to watch my shows on my laptop using dealers internet. There was a lot of coffee and snacks and the bathroom was excellent. Brought our 2009 Honda Odyssey in for an oil change and inspection. We are planning a trip this summer so asked them to check tires too. We bought tires there and were happy with price and service. We did some shopping in area and Luther Honda has a courtesy car and a very pleasant driver who dropped us off and picked us up from stores and dining. We realize we might have gotten tires a little cheaper someplace else but we've had some bad experiences with tires purchased from chain auto parts stores. Trust Luther to install the tires without bending the rims. It's worth the 70 mile drive to get our Odyssey serviced correctly.

Brought vehicle in for a oil change and asked to have a door issue looked at while it was in. I was told that they looked at it and didn't find anything wrong. I looked at my paperwork when I got home and nothing was documented that I had even asked to have it looked at. When I called back to ask about it I was told that nothing was found so basically it wasn't worth making note of. I thought for warranty purposes it be nice to have record that there had been an issue.

This is the first car I've bought on my own. I bought a pre-owned Hyundai from Luther Honda. I'm very inexperienced in this area. Larry was very helpful every step of the way. Ben and Connie in finance were so helpful. I never felt rushed or was made to feel stupid for the 1000+ questions I asked. I knew exactly what I was getting into before I signed each paper. They helped me find an affordable payment as well. The staff was awesome, service was awesome, and not once did I feel like someone was trying to sell me a car. Whatever happened to the half-hour oil change? Getting my oil changed here is taking longer and longer chunks of my day. I was there for an hour and 15 minutes. Bring plenty of things to do, and you're not going to be able to do it over a lunch hour.

We had called ahead of time to schedule a time for the pick up of our new vehicle(granted, it was originally scheduled for a day later) and we waited over an hour to be waited on. Then when we were finally helped, they didn't even have the car ready, and were not sure what accessories were even supposed to be on. They didn't have the correct car mats in. Then when we were signing the finance papers the incorrect #'s were on the paper work, so the monthly payment was more than what we were quoted. Then when we were waiting for them to bring our vehicle out of the shop for us to take home, it took a very long time and the gentleman told us he had to put air in the tires as the low tire sensor was on. He gave some excuse about cold weather and pressure change. After a week of having our vehicle the tire pressure alert came on again. Hard for me to believe there is not a problem with the tire when the alert button for low tire pressure has gone off twice in 1 week on a brand new vehicle. Also they only had one set of keys when we went to pick it up and we were told the other set would get sent in the mail and it is 1 1/2 weeks since we picked up the vehicle and we still have not received the second set. We were quickly shown how to work features on the vehicle because the store was closed by the time they were able to get to us. This is the first time we have purchased out of our town we reside in and also purchased a brand other than a chevy. Not impressed with this dealership at all. We are hoping the upcoming experience of owning our honda will improve.

I had a wonderful experience buying my car from Luther Mankato! This was my first time buying a car by myself and Billy made me feel very comfortable and the process very easy. Connie was also very enjoyable to work with. The costumer service I received was more then I was expecting and I love my "new" car! We we're looking around for a CRV. Got a few offers from other dealers and decided to try Mankato. They had the lowest vehicle price and the best trade in offer which made for an easy decision to buy a vehicle from them. Our salesman Jason was very good. When I bought my Pilot, I built it on-line taking every little detail into consideration because this was going to be an extra special gift. It was my retirement gift to me, so I wanted it to be exactly the car I wanted because I would be driving it for many years. I brought my 2011 Pilot specifications sheet into Luther Mankato Honda because their advertised prices were better than those in the Twin Cities where I live. And I have a grandchild in Mankato so this gives me extra reasons to visit. I presented my dream sheet to Aaron,the dealer internet guy. I think this was about June of 2010. I told Aaron how important this vehicle was to me and to take his time finding the right one. He had it ready for delivery within 3 weeks max. I have had nothing go wrong with the Pilot that was a major mechanical issue and anything that needed service has been covered under my warranty. I have had the Pilot in for preventative/routine maintenance also and everyone there treats me like family, they are all very friendly; in addition to getting the work done quickly and properly and leaving the car clean. The dealership was just beginning their remodeling when I bought the Pilot. Now, when I bring the car in, it's like being in a brand new dealership. The customer lounge is large enough for you to get away from loud people on their phones and other distractions. I have yet to run into an employee who isn't smiling there. And as I said before, I feel like I'm treated with respect, as if I am family, when I am in the building.

We had not planned on buying a car the day we walked into Luther Honda just out shopping, but found what we didn't know we were looking for! It was an all around very good experience! I wanted a car with good gas mileage for commuting to work. We worked with Will at Luther Mankato Honda. The first day we went he let us test drive the civic and did not pressure us in any way to buy it. After doing research on the civic we decided to go back another day to Will and buy the car. He answered all questions throughly. The buying process was easy as well and Connie did a great job of answering our questions as well. There was no pressure to buy any of the add ons either. Great price for the car, great interest rate and great add ons. I love my car so far and Luther Mankato Honda has great people to work with.

Came in for routine oil change,had $10.00 off coupon. Was recommended to have brake and Trans fluids changed. Was in shop for about 1 hour had $131.55 in Labor charges, misc. charge for $6.58, G.O.G charge for $9.99 and Parts at $92.96. Total of $238.67 .Think pricing is very high for about 1 hour of work.

This was our second Honda purchase from Luther Honda, Mankato. The experience was good. No pressure from any one. They did not have the color we wanted on the lot, but they located one at another dealership in 15 minutes. It was delivered the next day. Jason did a good job in leading us through the purchase process. Ben Z. did a good job with the closing process. I like the service we had on our Odessey, will continue to use Luther to service our new CRV.

Took 3 hrs the first day and had to come back the next day to complete the purchase. They low balled us on our trade in and didn't seem to care that we had 2 kids at a sitter waiting for us. I also had to take time off from work to come back on the second day. During the test drive of our vehicle I was told how nice it was, how good of shape the vehicle was in and how much they wanted it. Then when it came down to numbers all of a sudden there were all sorts of repairs they would have to do and then came the low numbers. Our vehicle is an 04 with 72000 miles and not one spot of rust. We were also made to feel like we were crazy for putting money down on the vehicle since we were getting the .9% financing. Well sorry for not wanting a $450.00/month payment! They also tried really hard to push the extended warranty, which I am not against having, but they tried relating it to having health insurance. My health is a little different than my cars. Oh by the way if you want an extended warranty never accept the first price they offer.

This has been our best new car purchase experience ever! We spent a day and a half going to different auto dealers in Mankato and test drove eight cars in a similar price, size, and mpg range, We kept coming back to the Civic. One of the reasons of course was because we liked the car, Another reason was because after extensive research on line, we concluded that they had the most accurate and fair pricing. Our salesman, Darin, was very helpful and NOT deceptive. We actually trusted him! We did not feel like we were taken advantage of in any way, Also, they gave us a fair price for our trade in. My family has owned many Honda's so I was expecting a smooth quiet ride and great mileage. But what I wasn't expecting is how wonderful all the technology is! I love using voice recognition calling and pandora. The safety features such as the right turn camera, lane deviation warning, all the air bags and backup camera are wonderful. I'm sure that is why my car insurance didn't even go up that much from my old 1999 Buick. I had a great experience with Luther during the buying process. Alex was my sales person. When I told him I was going to look at a Camry to compare, he encouraged me and let me tell you there is no comparison with the 2013 models. When my new Honda Accord came in, Alex spent an hour in my car explaining all the technology. I so appreciate his patience with me and my husband. Ben helped us out with our financial arrangement. What a nice man he is! He explained all the options to us and we never felt pressured to do anything we didn't want to do. I was given a rental car while my car was being worked on and the service was done in a reasonable amount of time. I've been going to Luther Honda dealership for two years now to have my Honda Odyssesy serviced and spent $1000.00's for various repairs and service issues. Last January 2013, they replaced both CVJ axles. Last week, found out they need to be replaced and learned that they used after market parts for replacement. This was a shock as I had thought they were using honda genuine parts (that is why I go to a Honda dealership) in all of their repairs. Service department (Kerri and Mike) did not communicate to us about installing after market replacement parts. We did not have a choice in the matter. We are very disappointed, and they have not offered us any remedies or taken repsonsibility in replacing the parts at their costs.

I gave an excellent rating here because I felt the overall service provided was quite refreshing from what I'm used to. I think I speak for most people when I say I hate going into the dealership and dealing with car sales reps, however in this case from start to finish I was never pushed, lied to or fooled into thinking we were all best friends so lets make a deal. I will definitely refer this dealer to friends and family and would go back again. My sales rep Aaron and Ben in finance were very forthright and explained things in detail from the start (over the phone) to finish (finance office), this was extremely important since I was coming from almost 2 hours away and did not want to waste my time. They are crooks. There was a recall on my car which caused another problem but they would not cover it. The recall was for bad power steering hose which was bad on my car and I lost all of my power steering which in turn caused my pump to go bad. They would not cover the pump. They only covered the hose.

Chris Schroeder, Alex Brandt, and Ben (?last name) at Luther Mankato Honda made us feel like royalty during our purchase of the Honda Odyssey. Chris, who lives near us, answered our initial questions about the Honda Odyssey while we were on a walk by his house. He and his wife showed us their Honda vehicles and helped us see the difference between two different Hondas. I drove to Luther Mankato Honda from Omaha, NE based an extensive search of cars.com. It was well worth the drive and the buying experience was extraordinary. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and professional. They did everything possible to make the process efficient and painless. Over the past ten years I have only purchased vehicles from Snell Motors, Mankato. My boyfriend suggested that I look into purchasing a Honda. Honda for reliability, fuel economy, and longevity. I have never been treated so well, when making a car purchase. Alex, our salesman was so friendly, patient, and thorough. Just make sure you ask lots of questions - they don't always think of things they should. When I picked up my SUV I was given one key - when I asked about a second one they were surprised there wasn't one. And there were other things I asked about that he should have already done or taken care of before I arrived to pickup the SUV.

I stopped in and talked with Billy Johnson in March. At that time I was model shopping. I knew what I wanted, but was deciding between a number of similar vehicles. After the test drive I was certain that I was buying a Honda CR-V but not quite ready to buy... Billy did not pressure me and focused on what I wanted in a vehicle. [patient and customer oriented] When I was ready to make the purchase Billy was not in, but Asher Giersdorf was, and he was willing to make sure that he and Billy got shared credit for any purchase [generous / selfless]. I told Asher that I was ready to buy, and this was his opportunity to sell me a car. Since I was committed to the Honda CR-V, it was really just a matter of what Honda Dealership I purchased from. I told Asher that I preferred to buy in Mankato, but was willing to dealer shop. Asher introduced me to Ben Zellman (the finance guy). Ben and I reviewed my credit history together. He promised to do his best to get me into that 0.9% financing deal Honda was running at the time. Ben was able to get me that financing, despite a blemish or two. [aggressive customer advocate and personable] Asher also introduced me to the sales supervisor, Aaron Cotton. The dealership did did not have the exact model specifications I was seeking and also did not have the color I was looking for. Aaron was able to do a dealer locate to find the model specs and color and get it back to the Luther dealership in less than 24 hours. Aaron and Ben kept me appraised of the progress through the day. I could tell they were pulling out the stops to get this deal to happen. Luther Honda in Mankato was able to get me a vehicle that I wanted (they found it in Iowa), in the price range I was able to afford ($1,200 off MSRP), in the color I desired (Twilight Blue), with the financing I wanted (0.9%) and accomplished that all in 24 hours! Both the car and I arrived around 6:30 pm the next day. Ben and I finished up the financing and Billy and a number of other helpers all got my new CR-V ready for it's new owner. We were done by 8:00 (or so). Everyone at Luther Honda moved heaven and earth to make this deal happen. Thanks to you all (named and unnamed) for your "Above and Beyond" customer service. You certainly earned my loyalty and I'll gladly refer people to them in the future.

Asher introduced me to Ben Zellman (the finance guy) and we reviewed my credit history. Ben promised to do his best to get me into that 0.9% financing deal Honda was running at the time. Ben was able to get me that financing despite a blemish or two. [aggressive customer advocate, personable] Asher also introduced me to the sales supervisor Aaron Cotton. The dealership did not have the exact model specifications I was looking for and they did not have the color I wanted. Aaron said he'd find one that I was looking for. The company was able to get me a vehicle that I wanted (they found it in Iowa), in the price range I was able to afford ($1,200 off MSRP), in the color I desired (Twilight Blue), with the financing I wanted and accomplished that all in 24 hours! Both the car and I arrived around 6:30 pm the next day. Ben and I finished up the financing and Billy and a number of other helpers all got my new CR-V ready for it's new owner. I was done by 8:00 (or so). Everyone at Luther Honda (named and names I don't know) moved heaven and earth to make this deal happen. Thanks to you all for your "above and beyond" customer service. You certainly earned my loyalty and I'll happily recommend your dealership to others.

I have experienced only professionalism and care in my dealings with Luther Honda of Mankato. The service department has taken care of my service needs in a timely manner. The sales staff were very clear and helpful as my wife and I asked questions about the leasing program at Luther Honda of Mankato. I would have not hesitation recommending this dealership to friends.

We were in Mankato looking at cars so we stop at Luther Honda & there we met Aaron Cotton who help us with questions that we had on Honda accord! I thought he did a great job telling us about it! We went to other dealers & came back to Luther Honda because of the way we were treated! Aaron did a great job selling us the Honda Accord ex-l. The finance guy was excellent to work with to! Had a simple recall checked and from the tip I pulled in the door was treated like a VIP!! I appreciate the fact that even though I was only there for the recall they still checked everything over!!! Thank you Luther Mankato!!!

Went looking for a used or cheap new car but not sure of which? Darin talked with me and told me all the things I could do and how he could search all the other Luther dealers for me. I told what I would like is a clean low mileage fit. He said that really hard people do not give those up easily but I will search and let you in a week. Sure enough he found it and great price too. It is a prefect fit for my family and my wallet. They were the best help.

Luthers Mankato Honda's service department makes oil changes and other routine service easy. Three times now since the purchase of my 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid I have called, made an appointment, then checked in and was out and on my way in less than an hour. Very helpful and friendly group. A very pleasant overall experience, and very easy.
