I drove over 50 miles to look at one specific car. When I arrived the salesman met me at the door, they had the car there and ready but I never got to see it let alone drive it. First they had to run my credit score, guess they would not want to waste their time on anyone with bad credit. Then they told me my 2008 Ford Fusion SEL was not worth much and wanted to know how much cash I had to out down. By this point I had already made up my mind that the down payment was going to stay in my pocket and I would do my car shopping elsewhere The money first attitude and not even offering to let me see the car made certain they would not be getting my business. I told them via their own survey what went wrong, who the salesman was and why I would not be back

In June of 2014, we bought a previously owned 2012 Murano with 23,000 miles on it. It looked great, rides nicely, and we love it. However, after adding only about 5,000 miles to it in the year after purchase, we took it in for our first state inspection, and our mechanic told us that the tires will not pass next year. This was a not Nissan mechanic, but an independent which we trust. We can see that the tires are nearly bald, which makes no sense, as they are Toro, I believe, with a 60K mile life. We are not sure if Nissan sends out their new new cars with sub-par tires, or if the dealer swapped tires on us before the sale. Replacement tires, with 18" rims, will not be cheap, and we will not be buying them from Nissan. They have to be replaced before winter, though, as we could not even get up our own steep driveway last year, in snow. Very disappointed at the expense we are about to face.

I have sent email inquiries to two different dealerships, both of which are apparently owned by Lynchburg Mazda. In both cases, I received partial answers to my questions with the obligatory "when would you like to come in to our dealership?" I understand this is a trained sales tactic, but an amateurish one. I have two real world experiences that reflect an overly pushy experience as well. In one case, the salesman actually insulted the car I was driving! Supposedly I am too "manly" to be driving a compact, and need to be in a truck. Sure, I need a truck, but insulting my ride is unacceptable. I have cash in the bank, am ready to buy, and they list cars online I am interested in. Yet due to the way I have been treated as a prospective customer, I will take my business elsewhere.

I purchased a vehicle I had and apparent issue 2 days later they fixed it but not without a little struggle that the issue was nothing I caused. at my first oil change I was told I will be needing tires very soon. Called the selling dealership and they responded that there was nothing they could do. After you purchase a vehicle you should not need tires in 5000 miles. They just care that they passed state inspection. They have now got a sale and do not care. They told me it was not on a we owe. I didnt think I would need tires in less than 2 months. I should have listened to others about their bad customer service.

I am expecting an inheritance. After doing some research, I decided to test drive a Mazda 3. I had some specifics in mind. I was only going to test drive because I was sure we wouldn't get financing with no trade or money down. But they said let's try, so we did. Not only did I drive my new Mazda home, I got a phenomenal rate, deferred payments and more car than I expected. I used to sell cars, and know the process. This was smooth, efficient and a great buying experience!

The internet pricing got me there and I am happy with the vehicle I got. The pricing from the salesperson to the financing person was confusing. I ended up spending more than the salesperson had originally told me it would be out of confusion. But I am still happy with the service and vehicle. They could provide more for children to be occupied, since it took a very long time to go through the process...

I wanted to test drive 2 cars. Called twice to confirm they were still available. Was told by Patrick, the internet guy, they would be pulled up and "waiting" for me. I asked him to make sure as this was a 4 hour round trip. Called 20 minutes before arriving to confirm, but when I got there, no one knew anything. The 350Z was not there, I was told the convertible roof leaked and they sent it to auction, 2 days ago. 4 days later it is still on the web site. Sent another email (from my junk email account) to confirm if available and Patrick still WILL tell you it is available! So this is NOT AN OVERSIGHT. I recently was in the market for a Tundra pickup truck and was disappointed that many dealerships provide poor customer service. Read the reviews before setting foot on a dealerships car lot. I bought my Tundra at a Carmax store and it was a wonderful experience.

BOTTOM LINE: Bought a used vehicle here that was determined unsafe to drive by multiple mechanics. Many of the issues were caused by the service departments refurbishing, which we paid $1300 for. Read on for the details! We bought a used truck from this dealership and were told the vehicles were carefully inspected and ready to go. We were charged $1300 for refurbishing from the service department for various parts they had replaced. Before we agreed to buy the truck, we noted that the windshield was cracked in multiple places and the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) light was on. The sales team agreed (after discussion) to replace the windshield, and at first tried to tell me the TPMS light was on only because of the temperature change, but later said the truck didnt have the TPMS sensors installed at all and would install them for us. We picked the truck up days later after the work had been performed, in the evening shortly before closing. On the drive home, when we reached highway speeds (test drive was all on roads <55 mph), the vehicle had a HORRIBLE vibration. The dealership was closed at this time, so I drove the vehicle the rest of the way home (I live 1.5 hours from the dealership, which becomes important later on). I called the next morning and told them I believed the tires needed balancing. They stated I could drive it ALL THE WAY BACK (with a horrible vibration) and they would take care of it, or I could pay for a local mechanic to do it. Given that I had literally just picked the vehicle up, I was a little shocked they wouldnt offer to pay for a local mechanic, but rather than waste 3 hours of my time, I took it to a local mechanic. WOW! I couldnt believe what he was telling me, so I took it to another mechanic (whom I trust implicitly, he was my fiances business partner for years). Both mechanics said the vehicle was unsafe to drive. Heres the list of the problems: The vibration due in part to the fact that the tires had never been balanced at all, and partly because the TPMS sensors had been improperly installed and had fallen INTO the tire and were banging around between the tire and the wheel. The ball joints that Lynchburg Mazda had replaced (as listed on the refurbishing sheet) had never been packed with grease! They will need to replaced AGAIN soon due to the excessive wear, which is about a $900 job. The suspension/steering linkage Lynchburg Mazda had replaced was completely missing a bolt and flapping around under the vehicle. The steering box was so loose it should not have passed inspection and needed to be replaced ($150 part). Part of the emissions system (diesel particulate filter, required by federal law to be functioning properly) had been left disconnected and began throwing engine codes right and left when reconnected because the filter was so clogged. And finally, my personal favorite, because it demonstrates just how little this dealership cares about the quality of their work: the running board (a 6x3 solid piece of metal piping) was improperly attached and had been secured by stuffing a leather mechanics glove between the hanger and the mount. This was IMMEDIATELY obvious upon putting the truck on a lift and the glove was brand new. It took less than 10 minutes to remove the glove and properly hang and mount the running board. God forbid if that thing had come off the truck on the highway and gone through someones windshield! SO the truck has been deemed unsafe to drive, I live 1.5 hours away from the dealership and their mechanics have already proved incompetent and downright dangerous.Needless to say, I had my trusted mechanic fix the truck, rather than risk driving it all the way back to dealership and have their mechanics screw something else up. I called the dealership to let them know what a terrible job their service department had done, and they insinuated that me AND my mechanics were lying. Wow! DON'T TRUST THESE GUYS!

I wish there was the option to give no stars. There is a previous review on here that is absolutely correct. They will advertise a price online and then add on shop fees, which for the car I wanted was close to $2,000 more. Ridiculous. They are extremely good liars, and I have never been so disgusted with customer service in my life. I had to deal with some guy named Matt and a finance manager named Frank. There is a word to describe this place, but I won't repeat it. Do yourselves a favor and look elsewhere.

Just made my third vehicle purchase from Lynchburg Mazda Nissan! What a great experience with Ricky Cole my salesman! Ricky was knowledgeable, kind and made sure I got the vehicle I wanted and that I was completely satisfied. The sales manager, and business office couldn't have been any nicer and soon I was on my way home one hour south in my Mini Cooper. Also kudos to the service department the best on the East Coast!!!

I have been looking for a used car for about 7 weeks. I looked on the Internet and searched every dealer within 4 hours of Lynchburg. I knew what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. I finally found a great deal and just before I went to purchase it 3 hours away I saw Lynchburg Mazda had close to the same car but wanted much more for it. I went down spoke to the sakes rep and manager and within an hour they matched the price and gave me a lower interest rate meaning the deal was better. They did a great job and I am very satisfied.

Our salesman was wonderful, we were very happy until the manager came out and told us that the internet price was not correct. The actual price was $1200 more than the price on their own internet site.
