Bradley Campbell my salesperson was patient and understanding. No haggling on the price was a refreshing experience fro someone who has purchased many ( at least 10-12 new cars over the past 30 years) new cars. Thanks to Cras.com and the dealers for trying to make new car buying a less stressful experience.

i had contacted brandon and made an appointment to drive a new ford flex. we were greeted by silas when we arrived and he told us that brandon was tied up with another customer but we should not have to wait so he would take us for a test drive. we started our negotiations with silas and brandon joined us about half way through. we were satisfied with the price, the trade in, and so pleasantly surprised to get it all done in time for dinner. picked up the new car the next day. the new flex is a real sleeper in the large car market. great interior space, nearly 360 degree visibility, good pickup and handling. the thing that impressed me most about brandon and silas was their sincerity. they are fine young gentlemen who did their best to make us happy and comfortable with our decision. everyone from the internet sales manager to the service department (had a flat on my trade -in! they fixed it, no charge. took that as a divine sign to trade in the first car of my life) was eager to please. if i ran the mac haik dealership, i would make sure i gave these two gentlemen every tool they needed to continue doing what they did for us...exemplary service. since i traded my only car on the new flex i am still in the market for another vehicle. at least now i can call brandon and get the ball rolling without the usual apprenhension of car shopping. thanks again, brandon and silas! will see you soon. art gressel austin

My husband and I went to see the Ford Escape. A new sales associate helped us at first, he treated us very well although he could have been a little more informed about the Escape. When we started asking questions about price and lease vs purchase, he wasn't very knowledgeable in the subject, so he called a manager to assist us with any of our questions. Needless to say, the manager didn't answer any of our questions, he was very rude, he refused to provide us with any information regarding the vehicle/prices, he encouraged us to drive comparable cars at Honda and Toyota and said that he couldn't help us with any information unless we were interested in driving out with the car, he didn't seem interested in helping us. It has been the worst experience buying a car. Regardless of my experience, we were still interested in the car, we ended up buying it the very next day at a different dealership.

Purchased a new Mustang V6 Premium and I have to say it was a pleasurable experience. The salesman was not pushy and worked hard to get me the deal I wanted. Out of all the new cars I have purchased this was the first time I felt the salesman was working to get me the best deal. I will defiantly be a repeat customer. My biggest surprise was when I was closing the deal with their finance department. They did not try to tack on any crazy closing fees, did not try and sell me an over-priced coupon book, and most important they came back with a better financing deal than I came to the table with. I am a very satisfied customer.

Just bought a 2011 F350 King Ranch Pick up. Spent over 45,000 dollars and when I went to pick up the vehicle. I looked over the vehicle and the inside wasn't cleaned. The sales person said they always clean them. I found caliche in the floor board, dirt all over the interior, and a pair of sunglasses in the console. And speaking of the console it was missing a tray that goes on the inside and cup holder was also missing. When this was mentioned to the sales person she couldn't understand why I was being so picky about this. Also I found a tear in the back seat that was not mentioned in the advertisement. Also when I looked under the hood I found corrosion under the batteries. But what really set me off was I spent so much money and when I asked if they were going to fill the pick up up the sales person said they are not allowed to fill vehicles up when they are being purchased. My truck has a 37 gallon take and I put 32 gallons in next to the dealership when I left. I would not buy from there again. And I would tell everyone I know not to either. I have bought several vehicles from other people and this was the worst ever.

During the inspection of the vehicle I noted that there was 222 miles on it, with an average mpg of 4.5mph. This indicates it was driven very hard during the 222 miles, a hybrid should be getting at 42 mpg, factory rated at 47mpg. This bothered me in fact that the oral and written agreement I had that I was buying a NEW vehicle. I can understand a new vehicle having 20-30 miles at most. When I requested some consolidation for the excessive mileage, as an extra year subscription on the satellite radio, Dealership personnel became irate and belligerent. I felt very humiliated. I had sold my 2011 Ford Fusion Hybrid a few days before flying down to Georgetown, Texas on my expense to purchase the (NEW) Fusion with the options and color I desired, which I had found using the Ford website. I had researched my purchase decision and for several weeks prior to committing to purchase and had high expectations for the new vehicle. Dealership peronnel stated a new car was new as long as its never been titled. Well I guess with his definition the dealer could have the vehicle driven for several thousand and still sell as new. That does not seem right to me. Dealership personnel said I was trying getting something for nothing on a low profit sale. So here I was 170 miles from home, I already sold my prior vehicle, if I had been at local dealer in my area, I would have walked out and went to another dealer and ordered a vehicle and waited the 6-8 weeks for delivery. Being I had to go back to airport and buy another one way ticket home, pay for a one way car rental home or call my wife to pick me up 170 miles away. With reluctance, I purchased the vehicle. This experience is troubling and bothers me to this day. So these are comments P.S. I have noticed recently some strange clicking noises from the front end and brakes of the vehicle, so I will take it to a local dealer for inspection. In additon I had to take the NEW vehicle to my local dealer to download from the vehicle the security code for programming the keyless locking system on vehicle. Since the code was missing from the owners manual book, must have been kept by person using the car before prior to my purchase. This has been nothing but trouble for me, good luck if you buy from them....

What a Pleasurable experience I have had buying car from Cowboy. I have been working with him for a week and he is by far the most attentive and respectful individual we have dealt with in the entire process. We were jumping from new cars to used cars and it never once bothered pr phased Cowboy even though he work in the used car department. More than anything, there was not a moment in the experience when Cowboy was not by our side and updating us through the entire process. Once the deal was done, he took the car back to the detail shop twice because he was not satisfied with the way it looked. We did not have to mention anything to him, he just took care of it. I appreciate the fact that we received the same attention and care from him even after the paperwork was complete and we were simply waiting for the vehicle. Living in Germany for half the year can be tough on me and my family. Having to purchase things in the States can even more difficult. As a family we decided we wanted to buy a new truck for the farm in Texas. So between me and the wife, we have been looking for a white Raptor for over 6 months. Most of the dealers I've spoken to have just blown me off. As soon as I tell them I'm living in Germany, they just give up on me. I finally found a Raptor at Mac Haik Ford. I sent them an email telling them what I wanted. It was about 2 minutes after I sent the request, Art Espinosa called me and asked me how he could help me. I told him I was looking for a Raptor. I asked him if he had a white one. He told me hold on, that he wanted to put his hands on it to make sure it was still there. I waited about five minutes on the phone when Mr.Espinosa got back on the phone and was breathing hard like if he had just ran. Well he did. He gave me all the options that the Raptor had on it. I told him I wanted the truck. And asked him what I needed to do. He gave me directions. Told me what to expect in the process. If Art has not emailed me about 20 times in four days, he hasn't once. I call him and he calls me right back. What a great salesmen. I guess I'm one lucky guy. If you are buying a new Raptor, you need to get top-notch service from Art Espinosa.

Don't get me wrong. I like having to look for a new car almost as much as I like seeing the Dentist. I don't like the back and forth games. Don't like trying to get the most money for my trade. I hate it hate it. I came into the showroom floor and met Art Espinosa. He introduced himself and asked me my name. I replied, I'm not buying today. Just looking. Why would you go anywhere else. Best selection of cars and trucks in Central Texas. I would know. I'm a contractor for the state and travel all over Central Texas. No one had the perfect truck I wanted. I show up and meet Arturo Espinosa and he had me test drive 5 different trucks. I felt bad that I was taking so much of his time. I just couldn't make up my mind on the color. Art went as far as to park the trucks next to eachother. He told me he wanted to make sure I was completely happy with my choice. Hats off to this guy. I had to stop by and have my Sync system reconnected. The salesmen that sold me the car was off. So they had Art Espinosa help. I was amazed that even tho Art did not sell me the car, he took the time to make sure my system was working just fine. Not only did he do that, he made sure I knew how to properly use the system. I went to Mac Haik to look at the new Edges. Darrin was my salesman and he was very polite and professional. He is new to selling cars but very well educated and articulate. He did not the typical car salesman. I found the Edge I wanted, purchased it and then had no way to get it home. Darrin came to my house and picked me up. I'm in the Army at Ft.Hood. My bud Matt told me to go and see Arturo Espinosa at Mac Haik to purchase my dream Mustang. My Credit was not that great. I was upside down on my car. I called Arturo and told him what I was dealing with. He told me he would do the very best to help His Soldier. I thought It was just a salesmen line. Come to find out, it was not. Arturo told me he was in the Army for four years. And he promised me that he would look after a fellow solier. He did. He went to bat for me. Got me more money for my trade. I had a few must have requirements for my next truck. None of the trucks on the lot had everything I wanted. Lukas listened carefully and went to work locate the truck with the features I wanted at anther dealer. I saw a a 2012 Ford F150 online thought the price was to good to be true. Called Mac Haik to verify if price was correct and more importantly if the truck was on the lot. I spoke with Kelly she informed that the price was right and that the truck was there. When my wife and I showed up at Mac Haik Kelly had the truck ready for us to test drive. I went to have my oil changed and started looking at trucks. There were so many there I got confused and almost gave up. I met Darrin and we narrowed down what I really needed versus maybe all the extras I wanted. He found me a really good truck and the price was very good. I drove it. I liked it and I got a good payment. I have since sent a couple of my friends over to see him and each time he took care of them. I always reocmmend Darrin!

Craig Lewis IS our sales guy, he spent a lot if time with my wife and I answering all of our questions and taking us on multiple test drives to make sure it was the car for her. I live in downtown Austin and wanted a good commuter car for the city. I selected the Focus and went to see who had the best deal. I walked in and was greeted by Darren. He showed me their selection, which was double what I saw any place else. We test drove a couple until I found the one. After that we went inside to crunch the numbers. Before I knew it I was in and out. I did not trade in so I had no way to get my new car home. I asked Darren if he'd park it out back for me so I could pick it up later. He told me "not a chance". Instead he personally delivered it to my house! He spent another 30 minutes with me at my house going over all the features and how to use the technology. This was after he made the sale. Money had changed hands and yet he still spent all that time with me.Great guy. Go see Darrin if you want premier service.

We came in to look at both a Focus and a Fiesta. We met Darrin outside, and he asked us a dozen different questions to figure out which car would be best for us. Then we test drove both. After that we talked about what we were going to do with the car even more. Darrin never rushed us or tried to tell us which one he liked more. He just asked questions and let us decide. In the end, the Fiesta was the right one. We felt great knowing we had the right car before we even started negotiating, which it turns out was actually very simple because the price we got was lower than anything else we saw. Our trade wasn't worth anything so when he offered me much more for it than I was hoping, the negotiations were done. We got good payments and the ca was ready in a flash.Darrin knew we liked baseball and about a week after we bought the car he called to tell me he had tickets for me and my wife to go see the Round Rock Express...free tickets! I told him I knew of a couple of soldiers who also wanted to go and he got them tickets too. They weren't his customers or anything, just friends of mine.Anyway, Darrin is a cool dude and I highly recommend him!

I came in for routine service on my truck - 2001 F150. I met Darren over in the Quick Lane area and we started talking about trucks. I told him I thought the transmission felt like it wasn't shifting as well as it should but I couldn't do anything about it because I was going out of town for three weeks on business. On the day I got back, Darren had a service guy call me about my truck. Although he didn't forget about my problem, I did. Anyway, we talked about it and I brought it in for service. The issue was a minor one but the great service was impressive. I didn't know Darren, never bought a car from him, nothing and yet he treated me like his best customer. I saw a great deal on an Ford and drove all the way from Oklahoma to get it. I called in and luckily got Darrin. He went out on the lot and confirmed the truck was still there. I got a price from and put down a deposit to hold it. I had dealt with a lot of dealers before so i was expecting the gotcha but it never happened. The truck and the numbers were exactly like Darrin said they'd be. This was by far the best purcahse ever. Everybody there was above board. I highly recommend Darrin and Mac Haik.

We bought an F250 at Mac Haik to pull our RV. We looked a really expensive one on the internet and came down to buy it, but after seeing it, the colors weren't exactly what we wanted. Darrin showed us another one that had only the stuff we wanted and he saved us a lot of money. We were in and out quickly, got a fair trade in and now have a great truck for road trips. Hi. We are a Sun City couple who stopped by to see what new models were available. Darrin met us outside and after a minute or two of talking, he showed us a new Taurus. We did not know what it was at first and when he said Taurus, we thought he was joking because it doesn't look anything like the previous models. Well we really liked it but felt like we were more interested in the Fusions. Darrin let us drive each car as long as we needed. He never said a word to rush us or try to convince us about one or the other. We took some information and went to think about it over lunch. When we came back, we looked at the Taurus again and knew it was exactly what we wanted.The financing and money talk all went very well. We got a fair trade and a good interest rate. Darrin had the car ready to go right away and we were off. He called a couple times after we bought it to make sure everything was ok, and it was better than ok. I've known Art Espinosa since High school. I now live in Waco. I called Art Espinosa and asked him, If he could help me find a good used car for my 16 year old son. My salesman Art Espinosa was great! There was no pressure, and he made the buy enjoyable for a change. When I left the dealership in my new 2012 F250, I was excited about my truck, and felt I got got a great deal on it. I live in San Antonio, Tx but took the drive to Georgetown (approx 1-1/2 hrs away) because none of the other dealers in my city had exactly what I was looking for, or they did not want to even try to work a deal. I called to make sure the truck I was interested in was still available, and when I arrived to the dealer, Art already had the truck up front waiting for me. I usually will buy a new vehicle every 1-1/2 to 2 yrs. I will definitely go back to Mac Haik in Georgetown, Tx to visit art again for the next one. What can I say, Lukas was fantastic!!! I came to the lot looking for a certain truck with a specific need (towing ability). Lukas shocked me by saying " I would love to sell you a truck, but I don't have what you NEED in stock". He then helped me find the exact truck I needed in Dallas which is a 4 hour round trip. This is my 3 rd car to buy from this dealership. My first and 2nd car were sold to me by Lucas Wainaina. He is a non-pushy salesman, that will give you all the time in the world to look around. My wife and I stopped in Mac Haik in Georgetown just to get a competitive bid on a new Explorer. We had a bid from Covert Austin , from whom we had purchased at least ten new Fords, from the same salesman so we knew we had gotten the best price already. Lukas Wainaina was out side and ask if he could help us , so we told him what we were looking for and he went to work. He said he would try to get us the best price he could, and we were shocked by how much he beat Covert, of course Covert said they would match it , but I felt Lukas had made a great effort for us. We ordered the unit which took eight to ten weeks to arrive and Lukas called my wife every two weeks to inform her the statics of the unit. Lukas was very knowledgeable about the product , especially the My Touch system, and spent several hours with my wife teaching her all about the Explorer. I was so impressed with Lukas I went back a couple of months later and bought a F150 Platinum . Not only did he beat Covert again he got me more money for my trade-in a 350 Ford King Ranch . It was my first time purchasing a truck. My family and I have always owned Honda Accords and Civics but we thought we could use the utility of a truck. After visiting multiple dealerships, I was really let down by many of them, some of them even being Ford. Our last stop was at Mac Haik Ford where I was fortunate enough to meet with Lukas Wainaina. He let me test drive the 2011 Ford F-150 and was very patient as I drove ridiculously slow- learning how to drive appropriately with a truck. I asked to see approximately 5-7 different trucks, asking about 15-20 questions on each of them. He was patient and knowledgeable. He is easily the most polite car salesman I have ever spoke with. This played a huge factor into my purchase. Eight months down the road, I went in for some maintenance. The quick lane personnel were friendly as well which was pretty surprising because they don't really have to be. I just need the job to get done properly. The only trouble I had was with parts. The prices were ridiculously marked up. Simple to see how so many people can afford the trucks, and easy to see why many of those trucks don't have the extra parts. I tried to purchase the parts during the "Buying Process" and that is why I didn't give 5-stars for that subject.

I bought a 2013 Ford Exporer from MAc Hiak Ford in Georgetown. My sales rep was Art Espinoza and he was great. He showed the vehciles in stock said he could order if I wanted. I found the one I wanted and he made sure I knew about every option available. He walked me through financing to see if Ford could beat my already low financing through as credit union - and they did! When I called to check on the vehicle to see if it was ready Art explained that the pin stripe was not right and he had it redone to be perfect. When I picked up the vehcile Art spent over an hour making sure I knew about the service and the operation of all the Sync devices. Art has called and e-mailed me to make sure I was happy with the vehicle. If you are going to buy a new (or used ) vehcile I highly recommend Mac Haik Ford and Art Espinoza!

I bought a used F150 Platinum. I found it online and sent a request for more info. Within 24 hours I had a response by phone. The sales person, Kelly Mcwain, was very pleasant and personable. I filled out a credit app online. I drove to Georgetown and drove the vehicle. I fell in love with the pickup and took it home the next day. Our sales rep was Art Espinosa. He was EXCELLENT> He worked his tail off to get us everything we wanted. GREAT JOB, thanks Art. Only problem: They found just the perfect car, meeting everything we wanted. They told us it was not there but would be shipped from another dealership the following week. We we arrived the next week to pick up our car, thye advised the car had already been sold. What, how could they verify the car was sold to us, then when we go pick it up, they said OOPS< it had been sold. But ART, went into high gear and spend extra time, even coming in on his day off, to make sure he found us another perfect car. So, ART was great, but we still do not understand why our first car was sold after we were told it was ours. We do reccommend this dealership to anyone.

Just purchased a new Ford Focus from Art Espinoza. Having a retail management background, I was very impressed. He asked the right questions. And something that is missing I sales today.....he listened...recommended based on what I wanted a new vehicle to do for me. This was the first time I have ever bought a car myself. It was my first big purchase and Mr. Art Espinosa made this experience not only exciting but made it his priorities to find the perfect car for me. I was set on a certain car but it wasn't in my price range. I really fell in love with the particular color of it and my must haves were a sun roof and heated seats. I left that night without a car because i made a decision to not spend that much on my first car. Mr Espinosa promised me he would find the perfect car for me. He called me two days later and told me he had found the perfect car for me. I drove back to Georgetown from Waco (because I preferred that dealership) and he has found a beautiful Escape with heated seats and a sun roof. It was even the perfect color. I bought my first new Ford truck at Mac Haik Ford, and was so pleased with my truck everything about their service, I wanted to go back to them and buy another one. I wasn't aware of the changes for 2012 so I called and spoke to Art Espinoza. He was extremely nice, knows his stuff about trucks, and told me everything I needed and wanted to know. I went to the Mac Haik Ford dealership in Georgetown, eager to meet him and see the new trucks. He was so helpful, and very fun and pleasant to work with on my purchase. By far, it's been the best buying experience, and he's the best salesperson I've ever dealt with. In the 70's and 80's , I was the Controller for a 4 line GM dealership in New Mexico for 13 years, so I know customer care, respect, and great service makes the best salespeople want to sell for the best dealerships. Mac Haik Ford certainly sets the top bar for customer care, service, product knowledge, and presentation. I hate shopping for cars! Hate it, hate it! So I came in completely prepared to hate this experience too even though I already knew what I wanted, how much I was willing to spend, etc. I still expected buying my new car would be painful and long and tiring. However, I was MORE than pleasantly surprised. Art Espinosa asked me what I wanted, went and found one that matched my criteria, talked with the powers that be about the best pricing they had available on it, had my trade evaluated and we were done in 35 minutes. Told me the car would arrive in 3 days and it did. I had my own financing and when I came to pick up the car we finished the paperwork in record time (I think it was 8 minutes)! After searching high and low for my dream truck. I finally found it at Mac Haik. To be honest, I wanted an original truck. I had a list of special options that I wanted on my truck. I thought I was just stopping by to get information at Mac Haik Ford today. My salesmen, Art Espinoza showed me about five different cars today. He Was very helpful in the process of buying a new car. To my surprise, we foung the perfect car. Lucus C. did a great job helping us pick out after market items and gave us a fair price.

We bought a new car from Mac Haik this past Sept. Actually, they ordered one for me because they couldn't find the Explorer the color I wanted with the features I wanted. Tony Nyguen was my salesperson and he was great to work with. I would highly recommend Mac Haik to friends and family. Prior to this purchase, the last 5 of my vehicles were Toyotas, so Ford won me over!

My car is on the brink, so I recently stopped by Mac Haik Ford in Georgetown just to get an idea of what I would be in store for since, most likely, I'll be in need of a new car soon and had the BEST customer service with NO pressure to buy at all! The salesperson, Art Espinosa, cheerfully greeted me upon arrival and asked how he may be of service. I explained my scenario to him and he gave me a plethora of information to help me narrow down my options. Then Art graciously took me around the lot and was very detailed in stating all of the cars' features. I didn't want to waste his time because I knew I wasn't able to buy anything right away, but he ensured me that he wanted to help out as much as possible. That was SO appreciated because my past experiences buying cars has not been the best - customer service speaking. So after exploring options and getting all the information I needed about financing, Art pleasently gave me his contact information for future reference. I definitely will be calling Mr. Art Espinosa whenever it's time to up-grade my vehicle!

I called Mac Haik Ford after getting the run around from about three other Ford dealers. I was getting ready to give up on Ford dealers when I made my call to Mac Haik Ford. I was happy to run into Art Espinosa. Art was very professional with me and my wife. Very polite and very funny to spend time with. He made the process of having to purchase a used car a great one. I recently purchased a F-150 FX4, David Ward was my sales agent. David was fantastic. He did not pressure us into any of the vehicles and really let us make the decision. When we were torn between 2 trucks he made it super easy for us to compare the 2, pulling both of them together so we could compare. He gave us pro's and con's for both trucks and it was fun. The store had closed but David, the sales manager and the financing manager stayed until the deal was complete and completed properly. Now whenever I take the truck in for routine servicing David and the other gentlemen we mwt that night come out and talk to us to make sure were still happy with out purchase. Excellent experience all the way around. Highly recommend this store and service station

I was looking for a used 2007 or newer Chevrolet Suburban. I had very specific requirements and even though what we were looking for was not the dealerships main line of vehicles. Mr. Espinosa went out of his way to locate a vehicle that met my requirements. Mr. Espinosa found my Suburban in Houston at another Maik dealership and we purchased the truck. Mr. Espinosa's hard work and dedication to finding us a vehcile was above and beyond what I would expect from a dealer.

Had no plans to buy a truck that day, was just going to browse and get an idea of what I was in for. After Art started helping us we ended up buying our dream truck, they offer a great deal with the aftermarket wheels and tires and lift couldnt pass it up. I have extended family that works at another dealership and the service and price we got here was phenomenal. My brother ended up coming in and buying a truck as well that week, and he is a harder sell than I am. Art was great! No pressure or rush to do do anything, he let us go at our own pace and it was a great experiance! Liked: Everything, price service! Disliked: Nothing

In working with Mac Haik salesman, David Ward, the buying process was made simple. The presale phone conversations and e-mail communications helped me to determine what I truly wanted in my next vehicle. After a test drive and walking away in February. David helped me to narrow my search down to 2 vehicles, he worked his magic to find the make, model, options and color I was looking for in the 2012 Ford Edge. Once in the showroom, there were no hidden agenda's or tricks. We test drove the blue Edge and I knew that was the one I wanted. We enjoyed our experience and plan to return within a year to purchase a pickup truck for Mario.

I recently purchase a 2011 F-150 from Mac Haik in Georgetown Tx., which I first start the process with an on line search and credit approval, which I was then contacted by a Mr. Ted Li who ended up being an excellent salesmen and a gentleman above approach. I am a customer who has had many bad experiences with dealerships dating back many years starting with days when I was a young military man. Because of this, I try to prepare myself about the product I am about to buy and I have a habit of being very combative when I first arrive at any dealership. Mr. Li from the start was very friendly, he listened, he was knowledgeable of the product and if he did not know something he went and found the answer and just didn't wing it. I bought a truck for the second time from Mac Haik Ford and will continue to do so. Every experience has been a good one. I was working out of the country and custom ordered a F-250 from the factory through Mac Haik Ford in Georgetown. With the help of salesman David Ward it was a breeze. All the paperwork was overnighted to me with step by step instructions on what needed to be filled out. I'm back in Texas now and loving my new truck! Also they have an excellent service department. I've been going to service advisor Julie Nichols for a couple of years now. She is very professional and knowledgeable. Doing business with Mac Haik Ford in Georgetown has always been a great experience.

Good morning sir: I will not be doing any business with Mac Haik Ford. While I did enjoy meeting you and learning more about the Mustangs, it's clear that Mac Haik has some suspicious business practices. Let me explain. There are three major credit reporting agencies. As such, scores tend to fall into the low, middle, and high range. I believe the automotive industry standard is other than the one you selected. I also believe your Finance department purposely selected the lowest - or falsely reported my credit score to me. Regardless, I was not particularly upset about the score. Scores change. I was thoroughly ticked off when your finance representative failed to answer direct questions multiple times. If you recall, I specifically asked for the amount of the title fee, license fee, and interest rate. A monthly payment comes down to simple math. I can do the math. However, your finance guy refused to answer. I then asked your finance department to estimate the interest rate based on my personal profile - including my credit score. Your Finance representative would not answer. If Mac Haik sells new cars each day to customers just like me, it seems that a Finance representative would be able to gauge interest rates. After dealing with many cars, many buyers, and many banks over and over, a good Finance representative should be able to come reasonably close estimate of the actual rate. That leads me to think 1). He did not know - i.e. he is incompetent, or 2). He is a liar or has something to hide. After a few harsh words, your Finance representative said he was using a 10% interest rate as an estimate in calculating my payment. With further pressure, he flatly stated that 6% was a "best case" scenario and my interest rate would likely be between 6.0% and 6.5%. Next, I have been interested in a Ford Boss Mustang for some time. I was willing to pay a fair price for a new Boss. You quoted me a price of $15,000 OVER MSRP. While the Boss Mustang is a limited edition model, it seems we had another example of Mac Haik being more interested in gouging the customer than earning his or her business. Let me conclude this message with the following facts: After leaving the Georgetown (TX) Mac Haik dealership on Thursday, I made a few phone calls. Those calls lead me to Patrick Watts at Legacy Ford yesterday (Friday). I bought a 2012 Ford Boss Mustang for MSRP there last night. My credit score was 70 points higher than you reported and the interest rate secured was almost 2% lower. I bought the car at Legacy Ford because they had it on the showroom floor, I like it, the financial terms were reasonable. Most importantly, I bought it because everybody involved in the transaction communicated with transparency and respect. I don't like having my direct questions ignored. I don't enjoy conversations with someone that is witholding information, or presenting misleading information. I don't like grossly overpaying for anything - ever. Mac Haik lost a customer, and as the sales rep, so did you.

The service advisor there Julie is the best employee I ever worked with at any dealer and that goes back a long way. SHe told me what I needed done and how much, she also told me it would take several hours and offered to reschedule. WHen I said I would wait and I was from out of town, she had their shuttle take me to a movie theater nearby and called me after only 2 hours that it was ready. She did everything she could to get me out of there early.

We needed a third car so that the 3 drivers in our house did not have to share 2 cars. It had to accomodate my mom's bulky walker. I went to Mac Haik hoping they could help us find an affordable solution. Helen helped us every step of the way. When she was not there, she had James Curvin from the new car department assist us, so we always had a contact. Helen and I tried putting mom's walker in half a dozen trunks. Then we drove the favorite, and she made it happen. Because of my schedule, the whole process took a few days, but Helen was constantly in touch by phone and email. Thank you, Helen, James, and Mac Haik Ford Lincoln for getting us into our great new car.
